My fiancé, Rica, and I didn’t originally plan on having our wedding and reception at Bay Pointe. We hadn’t looked at any place that far away, 1 hour from home. Two weeks before the wedding our original venue had a fire and we had to scramble to find a new location.
Mariesa Colavincenzo, the Catering Sales Manager at Bay Pointe, came to our rescue. With her and her staffs’ help we were able to pull off a miracle and have a beautiful wedding using part of the restaurant and the deck, looking out on the lake… a perfect backdrop for our vows and the reception.
Everyone remarked about how beautiful the setting was and also how wonderful the food was. We had 2 appetizers and a 3-entry buffet that was absolutely delicious!
Rica and I thank Mariesa and everyone at Bay Pointe for making our wedding a wonderful reality when it seemed it might not happen at all.

We picked Bay Pointe Inn initially because we both really wanted to get married by the water and from the first time seeing the venue we fell in love with it. I did not hire an independent wedding planner and it was not necessary. Madison took care of all of the detail for the Food & Beverage, space, helping to set up the floor plan and quickly responding to any questions I had. The F&B Supervisors for the Rehearsal were very patient with us as some of our guests were running late but they were able to fit everything in before the Rehearsal Dinner started. We also hosted the Rehearsal Dinner in the restaurant, which we were so glad we did. Not only was the food amazing but we were glad to have all of the family close and not worry about getting back to the hotel from another restaurant. They gave us 4 hours in the restaurant and it was ample time for everyone to socialize and eat. The wedding ceremony we had at the Lakefront and everything was set up on time so our families could start our set up. We had our reception in the Pavillion and it was great. We got married May 2nd so it was still cool outside in the evening but inside the Pavillion you would not know they have heaters to keep you warm and comfortable. We chose the Taco Bar for the Dinner and all of the food was amazing. We actually had Bay Pointe take care of all of the food, including desserts since we were not wanting a wedding cake. We also had the Ice Cream Bar, Smores Bar, Cheesecake Bites, Late Night Pizza and Sub Sandwiches. All of this food was also amazing. The F&B Supervisor for the wedding always made sure we had eaten and had drinks even when the bar closed for dinner. We appreciated that since everyone wants to congratulate you sometimes Brides & Grooms don't have chances to sit down and eat. The hotel accommodations were also great (the complimentary breakfast in restaurant was also one of the best included options I have ever had and I work in the hotel industry so I travel quite a bit), we just wish we could have spent another night!
On a side note we used DJ Guy Voss, recommended by the venue and he did a great job! -

Our wedding at Bay Pointe Inn in Shelbyville, Michigan, was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of that to the incredible venue and its exceptional staff. From start to finish, Bay Pointe made our special day seamless, beautiful, and unforgettable.
The moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism that instantly put us at ease. Their team, led by the attentive event coordinators, went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. They were incredibly kind, always checking in to see if we needed anything and offering thoughtful suggestions to enhance our vision. Whether it was adjusting the timeline, accommodating last-minute requests, or ensuring our guests were comfortable, their dedication was evident in every interaction. Their genuine care made us feel like more than just clients—it felt like they were celebrating with us.
The venue itself was breathtaking. Nestled on the shores of Gun Lake, Bay Pointe provided a stunning backdrop that elevated every moment of our day. The outdoor ceremony space, with its lush greenery and serene water views, was picture-perfect, and the photos captured there are absolutely gorgeous. The reception area was equally impressive, with elegant decor and a warm ambiance that perfectly matched our vision. The way the sunlight streamed through the windows during our evening celebration added a dreamy glow to the entire event.
Everything flowed flawlessly, thanks to the staff’s meticulous planning and execution. The food was a highlight—our guests raved about the delicious, beautifully presented dishes, and the service was impeccable. From the cocktail hour to the final dance, every moment felt effortless, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day.
Bay Pointe Inn turned our wedding into a fairytale. The combination of their stunning venue, outstanding staff, and attention to every detail made our day more beautiful than we could have imagined. We’re forever grateful for their kindness and expertise, and we wholeheartedly recommend Bay Pointe to any couple looking for a venue that will make their wedding truly unforgettable. -

I could not say anything better about Bay Pointe! They made our wedding absolutely perfect and I would choose them again time and time again. Leading up to our day, they were very responsive and made sure all of the details were ironed out. We rented out the Boathouse Villa, which was the most adorable space (both for the wedding and an incredible weekend spent celebrating with friends and family)! We received so many compliments about the food, venue, and overall relaxed vibe. We worked with Jessica on the details and Jocelyn on the day of and they were both incredible. I highly recommend this venue! -

When we were looking for a wedding venue, we wanted a place that was on the water and provide the catering and alcohol in one package. We found this place and do not regret one single thing. Everyone on the team was so amazing to work with and provided great communication. Gun Lake will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we will be back celebrate our anniversary :) -

We first chose Bay Pointe based on some specific criteria we had for being lakefront and having on-site accommodations. From there, the help we received from their staff made it an easy choice. From tours, to tastings, to all the email reminders and prompt responses to our questions over the almost year and a half, they made us feel welcome and made planning a wedding as stress-free as possible.
We chose the Boathouse Villa for our weekend stay and our smaller (80 person) ceremony and reception. It was so beautiful and unique, and the day-of staff were wonderful too. We received compliments from many of our guests. We couldn’t be happier with our choice! -

I got married at Bay Pointe Inn in April 2023. They allowed us to get married on the Lakefront, and our reception was held at the Woods. We got endless complements from our guests on how beautiful the venue was, and it was the perfect location. Throughout planning, the staff was extremely accommodating and always ready to answer any questions. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room the night before our wedding, stayed in the cottages so we could get ready there the morning of the wedding, and stayed in the complementary bridal suite the night of our wedding. Everything was extremely clean and organized, and the food was great for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Thanks to Bay Pointe (and our vendors) our vision was executed flawlessly, and everything went as planned. I can not recommend Bay Pointe enough for your wedding day! -

My husband and I had our wedding at Bay Pointe June 2023. I truly could not have dreamt of a more perfect place, and it even down poured for a solid 30 minutes before our ceremony. We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding, and the Pavillion at Bay Pointe could not have been a better choice. My wedding planner was insistent on the rain not passing and told me we would have to have our ceremony under the Pavilion, but my husband and I were insistent on the radar and waited it out. Paige, our coordinator from Bay Pointe made sure to check on me and my sanity during the 30 minute push off, and let me tell you, i have zero regrets. We waited out the rain, the staff dried off the chairs and we were not even 5 minutes behind schedule post ceremony. The sun peaked out and it cooled off slightly, literal perfection. We had our rehearsal in the fireside room, the sunset that night was amazing. Every person kept asking how I found this place and how beautiful it was AND the food was better than we would have ever expected, coming from an Italian family, that was important. Overall, I can say that my wedding weekend was one of the best weekends of my life. -

Wonderful Venue & Staff!
My husband and I highly recommend working with Bay Pointe for your big day! We just got married on 8.11.23 and it truly was the perfect day. The staff at Bay Pointe (shout out to Mariesa, Madison, and Jocelyn!) were all incredible. Madison was so kind about all of my questions leading up to our day. We felt in such good hands with Jocelyn during our day - she made sure everything ran on time and kept our huge wedding party in line nicely. I am SO HAPPY we decided to go with Bay Pointe. In my opinion, it was a very good value for the resources they provide and the high quality of service offered throughout the entire wedding planning process. I cannot say enough good things about Bay Pointe - THANK YOU for a wonderful and forever memorable day! -

Our wedding was a true fairytale and we owe it all to Bay Pointe! We had countless guests tell us how beautiful, seamless, classy, professional and smooth our wedding day was. The planning process was seamless and efficient. The staff was consistently going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and our guests were as well. We had red wine and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our honeymoon suite on our wedding night, personalized agenda signs on their televisions screens and more. The lakeside pavilion venue was absolutely stunning! I'm so glad they made all their renovations before our wedding including a greenery wall, expanded pavilion and wedding day schedule changes. If I had to give any sort of constructive feedback it would be that I wish they wouldn't make receptions end at 11pm. We never wanted it to end and could have kept going all night! Aside from that, I would give Bay Pointe 10/5 stars if I could. I cannot recommend them enough! -

The coordinators at BayPointe were so easy to work with, quick to respond to emails, flexible with room setup, and provided a detailed questionnaire about our desires for our wedding day so that nothing would be overlooked or left until the last minute! The food was phenomenal and the way the sun streamed in through the many windows of the Woods ballroom creating a golden glow all evening was stunning. It was everything we dreamed! We comfortably sat 160 guests and could’ve fit many more! It was a relief to know we had flexibility in so many areas with BayPointe! Our DJ and photographer were well familiar with the venue and it was a great location for Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids guests! -

Best Lake Venue!
Bay Pointe is the best lake venue in the perfect spot in Michigan. My husband and I live in Chicago but my family lives in the Detroit area and this was the perfect in between point! Our wedding ended up being an entire weekend with renting out the boathouse, having our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the boathouse, and the lakefront ceremony and pavilion for our wedding! We also rented out two pontoon boats for the whole weekend for our guests and for us to use during cocktail hour- highly recommend!
Everything went to plan the whole weekend and a big reason for that is Juno- she is AMAZING! Always quick to respond to our emails, phone calls, and met with us in person a few times. She is spectacular!!
We also really enjoyed the bartenders both nights! They always made sure we were taken care of and had a great time with our guests!
It rained later during our reception and we had our photo booth outside of the pavilion and Bay Pointe stepped up and provided two small tents so the photo booth wouldn't get wet- we appreciated that immensely!
We highly recommend Bay Pointe Lakefront for anyone dreaming of a lakeside wedding!!! -

Couldn't have asked for a better day
We were married 9/25/2021 on the Lakefront Lawn & Pavilion. It was a fabulous day. The setting was gorgeous and we were fortunate with the weather. We had a beautiful day that was incredibly photogenic. The food was excellent, the staff very accommodating, and our guests had a wonderful time. I worked primarily with Juno, who kept me on track and gathered all of the wedding information. I ended up hiring a day of wedding coordinator, and I'm glad I did that. BPI won't set up your items, meet vendors, or herd your wedding party to follow the timeline. I could have asked a family member to do it, but I'm glad I could lean on a coordinator so my family could relax and enjoy the night. BPI provided an event coordinator, Kortney, who I didn't end up interacting with much, but since the event went so smoothly, I'm guessing she was running the back of house well! I super appreciated that they had on-site catering and drinks -- one less thing for me to worry about!
Keep in mind the hotel has multiple venues, so there aren't a ton of rooms available for your room block. The nearest hotels are ~15 minute drive away, and there isn't great Uber/Lyft coverage. I just let my guests drive (plenty of parking) to wherever they were staying and it worked out fine. There were enough rooms for my wedding party and close family!
We also rented out the Fireside room the next morning for a brunch. Our guests appreciated the private buffet!
It was definitely on the pricier side, but I feel like it was an incredible value for a full service venue. Just can't beat the location, and the entire staff delivered a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!! -

Book them! I fully credit the ease and success of our wedding ceremony and reception to the amazing team at Bay Pointe Inn. Specifically, we worked with catering managers Ashley, Jessica, and Juno and Day of Event Coordinator Jessica. All were so wonderful to work with. Jessica H was AMAZING as our day of coordinator. So well organized, friendly, and so much fun to work with. The pavilion venue site was set up so well and so many of our guests gushed over how beautiful the space was right by the lake. The food was all delicious and came out on time. We did a smores bar as the late night snack and our guests loved it. It was perfect! -

If you are considering hosting your wedding at Bay Pointe Inn, DO IT! We mainly worked with Juno to plan our wedding and she was very organized and responsive. She reminded us of deadlines and details we needed to have. Additionally, we had Jessica for our venue coordinator on the day of the wedding and she was AMAZING! She was so on top of it for the day of and kept us on time and organized. The staff here is simply the best. Also the food was great!
One of our favorite things we did was rented the pontoon boat for the day of and did our ceremony exit on the boat, which was a memory I will cherish forever. For future out of town brides like myself, one thing I would keep in mind is lodging is a bit limited here. Juno was great with letting me designate 20 or so rooms to our bridal party, but be sure to book a block of rooms ASAP once you decide to have your wedding here. (We did the best western in Wayland).😊 We loved hosting our wedding in the Lakefront Pavilion and wouldn’t change anything. THANK YOU for helping make our day everything we were hoping it would be! -

For anyone looking for a dreamy venue that makes planning a wedding simple, Bay Pointe Woods is the answer! We received so many compliments at our wedding about how beautiful the venue was. Juno was SO helpful throughout the wedding process and answered every single question I had while providing reassurance and always going the extra mile to make sure our wedding day was perfect. They provided worksheets that made sure we had EXACTLY what we wanted for the day of our wedding, and even provided us with a day of coordinator. Every single person was so kind and friendly… We even asked a member of the wait staff to hang out with us after the wedding because she was so sweet. One of the best parts was having the cottages right next to the venue. Our entire bridal party stayed there, which made it so much more fun to have everyone stay in the same place. They offered so many personalized touches, and at the end of the night, we came back to our bridal suite with a bottle of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries. The staff at Bay Pointe makes you feel so special and loved. You will regret it if you don't book them! -

On-site is everything you need for your day! Food, drink, linens, tables, chairs, hotel rooms/cabins, ceremony site, reception site. Everything was right within walking distance. The staff was amazing especially Jessica and Shannon(coordinators). Totally worth the money if you want the most smooth, enjoyable day! -

An absolute dream of a wedding, thanks to Bay Pointe Inn!!!
If you are juggling between 2 or more venues, your search is officially over. We've made the best decision on your behalf, book the Bay Pointe Inn. My wife and I got married here in June 2021 and it was an absolute dream, to say the least. If you can, book both the Pavilion and the Boat House to get the absolute best experience possible. Cocktail hour, rehearsal dinner, and general hanging out at the Boat House was epic. Dancing, dinner, and the wedding ceremony at the pavilion was so intimate and fun, we will remember this for a life time. The food was amazing, all of the servers/staff are professional and wonderful to work with. It is a beautiful venue with so many food options and accomidations. We recommend 10/10, you will not be dissapointed - I know we, and all of our guests, were not!! -

An unforgettable experience!
We got married at The Woods venue and it was an absolute dream. We worked with Mariesa and Juno. Their communication from the beginning was excellent, they answered all of our questions and always responded quickly to our emails. With the uncertainty of covid I was nervous proceeding with planning a wedding, however they were able to calm my nerves by being transparent about the new rules and what was changing. Every encounter we had we were treated with respect and were encouraged. When it came time to do the rehearsal our coordinator, Jessica, was fantastic. On our wedding day, everything was prepared and perfect. Jessica did such a great job at ensuring we were running on time and smoothly. On top of all of this, the venue is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding day was beyond perfect thanks to the staff at Bay Pointe. -

Where do I even start? I fell in love with Bay Pointe Woods when it was just a computer-generated concept. It popped up on my Facebook page in 2018 and I was SET! Of course, my husband didn't propose until May 2020, haha! It did not take much time once he popped the question, I had already been following the Bay Pointe Inn and Bay Pointe Woods pages to see construction come to life! Once Wade asked, I reached out scheduled a venue tour for June 2020. My dad, a bridesmaid, and I met with Mariesa C., the Catering Sales Manager - she was ever so pleasant! She was able to show us around the hotel, the Woods property, as well as getting a sneak peek of the BEAUTIFUL modernized cabins! If I was not set two years ago, I definitely was now! We signed contracts and set a final date into place, accommodating all of our lodging space and also weather. We choose and were thankfully able to keep April 9th, 2021 as our date! This is where the ever so amazing, patient, and awesome Juno H. comes into play. She was our Catering Event Manager up until the rehearsal dinner. When I tell you I bombarded her email... I am not even playing around! Having/planning a wedding is stressful enough, let alone adding on the pandemic. Juno was SO responsive and truly made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She always reassured me and kept updating me frequently on guidelines and restriction changes. Any question or worry I had, Juno had an answer or solution. Her communication was absolutely spectacular! We were able to meet with her in November for a food tasting to select and finalize our meal for the day of! It was so nice to finally meet her, after working with her over emails for 5+ months. When I tell you she was a huge key player in making our day the best day ever, I truly mean that with my entire heart. The day of the rehearsal, Thursday April 8th - we met the lovely Shannon - and also Juno was there to say hi and just continue making me feel so valued and welcome. Juno made sure to get me access into the venue to setup early and Shannon made sure I had everything I needed! I had a vision and wanted to make it come to life! Shannon made me feel so reassured - she knew what I was thinking without me even saying a thing! Our rehearsal went amazing, and she added in so many helpful tips and tricks to remember for the day of. Including helping my husband come out of his shell a little bit. Shannon let us run through as many times as we needed until we felt we had it down and were comfortable. I really cannot talk her up enough! The rehearsal dinner was held in the Fireside Room at the Inn. It was the perfect space and I highly recommend this over the restaurant space. You feel so close to everyone there and can talk and move about the room. Shannon and staff made this night go off without a hitch! The BBQ package we picked was a hit with everyone! They even let me add on two vegan plates for family that was unable to eat BBQ. It was served family style and we had more than enough food! We added on a bar package and had a bartender right there in the room with us, so convenient! Fast forward, to the best day ever!!! Shannon was there in the morning and through most of the day, and then we had Vanessa to lead our event. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN we met was AMAZING!!!!! I could say it until I am blue in the face. I felt so special, loved, and just so blessed to have such amazing staff to work with and help us! We had our salon and bakery on site/deliver on site, so we did not have to travel the day of. Bay Pointe is/was about 2.5 hours away from home for us. The package we picked for the day of included a DELICIOUS lunch that was delivered to our room with drinks and condiments. I choose the platinum package due to all of the additional add on’s it came with – including our cabin being free for Wade and I the night of the wedding, a toast for the entire wedding party, lunch the day of for 10 guests, additional cocktail hour snacks, and late night snack options. It was almost silly to pass up! When it came down to game time and the ceremony the ladies were at the door of my cabin waiting to lead me to the venue with a fold out barrier to block me from being seen! Talk about thinking of everything!! It went exactly as planned and as we had rehearsed. We got married at 5, had cocktail hour for guests while we took photos, entered back in at 7, and kicked off the best night ever! Some of the same staff that did our rehearsal did the wedding as well, and every single person who worked both events made them so picture and literally perfect for us. Through all things thrown our way, we were able to have our day go off without a hitch. Tables were set with 6 instead of 10, dancing and mingling was outside (but you could not tell due to the heaters, we actually had them turn them off because it was so warm), and they even had catering staff serve at the buffet line! I am not going to lie, I was hesitant about dancing outside, but wow did it make it that much more fun. Every single person that attended had nothing but good things to say! From it being so personalized, to the staff being amazing, the food being out of this world, the lodging being more than what anyone imagined (both the Inn and Cabins at the Woods are STUNNING), our amazing DJ Ryan Rousseau keeping the party at 100 with the music, plus SO much more - we received so many amazing compliments and it just felt so great to know we picked an amazing venue! Not only from our amazing friends and family as well, but the staff also all had amazing things to say as well. It was such a great feeling knowing I executed most of this on my own. We came back to our cabins to the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries and wine, with the sweetest card from Juno and Mariesa – as well as returning home to an email from them checking on the day! It was so bittersweet leaving Saturday morning, but also the best feeling finally being married and knowing it truly was the best day ever for both Wade and I. Thank you again to staff for all of the help and guidance! Mariesa and Juno you both are truly heaven sent and I just am so thankful to have met you. Shannon and Vanessa, thank you both for everything and making it run flawlessly! I feel I could write more, and I am sure I am leaving something out – but I feel this also sums it up quite well! RUN do not walk to book Bay Pointe Woods!! The property will forever hold a special place in our hearts and makes for a great yearly “destination” trip. You will not be disappointed, I have absolutely zero complaints. I hope this helps other brides and grooms thinking of booking here – they have everything even to accommodate a crazy pandemic! We cannot say enough about the properties at Bay Pointe Inn and their staff! We were originally booked for the Woods property (Stunning!), but due to Covid we had to move our wedding ceremony/reception to be 100% outside. My husband and I were able to move our ceremony and reception to the Lake Front Pavilion and WOW!!!!! We could not have asked for better views, food, drinks, and atmosphere!! We continue to receive endless compliments from our guests about the property, food, and staff!! The Lake Front Pavilion is GORGEOUS. The food was absolutely delicious and served hot!! They have a variety of appetizers, entrées, and desserts to choose from, in addition to great package options!! The staff was professional, kind, and extremely attentive!! Jessica was our catering sales coordinator and she was amazing to work with!! Planning a wedding during the Covid pandemic was challenging but Jessica was so helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the planning process!!
We are from the east side of the state so all of our guests needed lodging. This was the most stressful part as we wanted everyone to stay on-site. We rented the Boathouse for the weekend which was AMAZING! This gave us more lodging options and a home base for the bridal party. We held our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse, got ready at the Boathouse, and took bridal party photos at the Boathouse (beautiful!). Again, stunning views/property, delicious food, and fantastic staff/service!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND all of Bay Pointe Inn's venues!!! -

Bay Pointe was fantastic in working with us through our planning process during these ever-changing times. Mariesa and Juno were so friendly and understanding when we were constantly changing our plans from a large wedding of 150 all the way down to the final product of 25. Due to COVID we had to hold our wedding outdoors instead of inside the Woods area. They were so accommodating as we made last-minute changes right up until walking down the aisle. Having our ceremony outside of the Boathouse on the patio was magical in the winter twilight hours with our lighted trees and sparklers. If you are looking for a venue that will be with you and help you through the entire process of planning, this is your place. We also stayed at the Boathouse for the wedding weekend, which made everything so much easier being right on site, and the house is amazing! We can't thank Bay Pointe enough for all of their hard work and attentiveness to our wedding! -

Planning to continue with our scheduled wedding in the middle of the Covid pandemic was a tough decision, but I can say it was made much easier thanks to the events team at Bay Pointe Inn. Our wedding had to take place outside with less than 100 people even though our original plans were to be inside at their Bay Pointe Woods venue. Mariesa and Juno helped eradicate much of the stress despite all the changing government restrictions put in place for indoor gatherings. They arranged for a couple large outdoor tents so our event could still happen in the lawn by the venue, as well as heaters since we had an early October rental date. That took a lot of stress off my plate in a very difficult time. The wedding turned out beautifully despite the changed plans and our day of contact, Kortney, did a fantastic job all day running the wedding. Her help during the ceremony was greatly appreciated since we didn't hire a wedding planner, and I know she did so much throughout the night that I probably wasn't even aware of to keep things running smoothly. Truly a phenomenal team to work with on your big day, and I would recommend their services to anyone looking to host any type of event at their venues!! The team I worked with was always quick to respond with any communication and SO incredibly helpful from start to finish, even before Covid was really a thing that impacted our event. They are reliable, kind, and extremely professional. I truly have nothing but great things to say about everyone there. Aside from the wedding itself, the lodging staff at the Inn were fantastic as well, and we all had a great experience in both their Bay Pointe Woods Cottages and the hotel as well. Their entire team is there to make your event a success, and it truly showed around every detail arranged with them. -

Bay Pointe Inn was the perfect place to get married! From start to finish, Jessica and Ashley were the most amazing pair to work with. As of the BIG day, all of the other staff were so professional, flexible and positive. Unfortunately, we had rain all throughout our wedding day (although I hear it is Good Luck ;) ). We had less than a 30m gap of time without rain and Kourtney and the team made a quick outdoor ceremony happen!! Due to COVID, Bay Pointe Inn ended up being our 2nd option when we had to change things around, but we wish we would've worked with them in the first place! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place to start our new life together. I would highly recommend Bay Pointe Inn for any wedding or event in the future. -

We're so happy that we chose to have our wedding at Bay Pointe. We fell in love with the new Woods venue when we went to look and were so excited, and then when COVID happened we started getting worried but everyone at Bay Pointe was so good about communicating and responding to all our questions, and updating us on any changes. We had to move our reception outside which is not what we planned on but they helped us and tented everything. The day of coordinator (Shannon) was so helpful as soon as we got there for the rehearsal, up until we were done the next day. We stayed there the night before in the cottages and it was SO nice! She worried about the timing and set up of everything and all we had to do was get ready and be where she said, exactly what we wanted! Juno was so great with everything and arranging and answering all our questions up until the wedding and was always so responsive.
We're so happy with how everything turned out and all our guests loved the woods venue and said everything was so beautiful. There's so many flowers and beautiful scenery you don't even need that much extra decor really. We had the best day and it was perfect! -

When we cancelled, the staff at Bay Pointe were more than accommodating and understanding. I got married at Bay Pointe Inn on July 27, 2019 (two months ago). I am late on my review but better late than never! My wedding day was absolutely PERFECT!!! It was by far the BEST day of my life and while I can thank a million different people for helping make this day AMAZING, Bay Pointe Inn definitely added the cherry on the top. Everyone at BPI made my wedding weekend everything I have ever dreamed of and more! From the very beginning, Juno was awesome with communication throughout the entire planning process, she was always quick to reply to my emails and answer my questions, sometimes within minutes :) My Day Of Coordinator, Lindsey was amazing as well, she was on top of everything and I never had a chance to worry about anything because she had already taken care of it. My wedding at bay pointe was a dream ❤️ My dad has been staying there for years and they made sure to make him feel very appreciated for being such a long term customer. The lakefront pavilion and ceremony site was absolutely beautiful! All of my guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Lindsey, our day of coordinator did such a great job at making sure everything went smoothly that day. She was very professional and fun to work with! Kaylyn was my point of contact and the person I had been emailing for the last and she never misses a beat. She was always quick to respond and handled any questions I had and took care of anything I could not because I live a couple hours away from the venue. I would highly recommend this beautiful resort! Plenty of rooms for our guests and the new bay pointe woods condos are gorgeous and allowed room for my aunts to prepare all the wedding flowers. We had the southwest buffet for our wedding (tacos anyone?) and everything was absolutely delicious! Can not say enough great things about bay pointe!! -

We got married in July right on the lake. This is the most beautiful wedding Venue. Everything thing here is perfect. From day one when you book the venue the staff treats you like royalty and knows you by name anytime you come in. Juno and Ashley the wedding planners are amazing they would answer your phone call or email right away and know who you are right away and would help in any way possible. They went far above what was needed. Staff on the wedding day is amazing they are So helpful and fun. They will do anything you ask and will have fun with your guests. We can’t say enough about our experience at the Bay Pointe Inn one week ago today. The level of service that we received from our wedding coordinators, Ashley and Juno, was outstanding. The communication was excellent, as was their willingness to work with us and listen to any concerns that we expressed. We, along with many family members, stayed in the boat house and had Bay Pointe cater a dinner the night before the wedding. As luck would have it, there was a cancellation in the pavilion and we not only had the boathouse but the pavilion for our wedding. In addition, Ashley listened to our concerns about accommodations for our guests and the moment rooms came available, she notified us. As a result, every one of our guests that wished to stay overnight had a place in the Inn or across the street at the newly opened Woods. The food was great, the service was great, the weather was great. We really would repeat the whole affair if we could. Many thanks to Jamie and Lindsey, our day of wedding coordinators, and Casey, and the whole crew that set up our venue and took it down. We rented a pontoon from a local boat vendor which was a blast to go around Gun Lake. We will return to enjoy the beautiful scenery and Inn.

May 2019 Wedding
Choosing a venue is a huge decision, but the moment we set foot at the Bay Pointe we knew this would be our spot. The views are breathtaking, the service was impeccable, the planners were knowledgeable and ultimately it was everything we could ask for. When it comes to venues there aren't many that check all of those boxes- especially for an outdoor wedding. One of our main points that we wanted for our wedding was for it to be a fun lake weekend filled with our friends and family to celebrate our marriage and that is exactly what this venue provided for us. We had everyone on property between the Inn, the Boathouse, and The Woods (which they opened early just so we could have all of our guests in one place) and it was perfection. I cannot say enough good things about the Bay Pointe and recommend this venue to any bride in search for a venue! Thank you to the BPI team you are all rockstars. -

My husband and I chose Bay Pointe Inn for our wedding ceremony and reception venue and it was nothing short of amazing.
At first, we were a little hesitant due to the price, but we can tell you that you get everything you pay for and more. Our wedding coordinators Juno and Ashley were by our side helping with the planning from the moment we booked up until the big day. Their kindness and communication with us throughout the process was over 100%. Our day of coordinator, Steven, was truly a gift. He made sure our event was executed flawlessly; if it weren't for him, we can honestly say the day of our wedding would have been a disaster... but because of him and the rest of the staff at BPI, not a single thing went wrong.
We would recommend this venue to anyone 10x over. If we would have chosen another venue, we likely would have paid the same price, but would not have had a team of incredible staff to coordinate our event and take loads of stress and planning off of our shoulders! Choose Bay Pointe Inn for your dream day!! You WILL NOT regret it!! -

Our day-of coordinator (Jamie) was super accommodating, yet straight forward, which I personally loved because it made my rehearsal and wedding day a lot less stressful when it came to logistics. We had rented out the Boathouse Villa next door to have the rehearsal on Friday and a Brunch on Sunday, then the wedding occurred at the Pavilion on Saturday evening. Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was very helpful and everything went off without any issues. Mariesa, Kelsey and Hillary helped me through all the planning phases (I personally took around a year to plan but the Bay Pointe had deadlines to keep any bride or groom on track) and worked with me as small details changed just a week before the wedding. I wanted a wedding where I was very hands off to just focus on getting married so this venue allowed for all rehearsal, wedding, and brunch to be taken care of from set up, execution, to tear-down. They handled all the rental process of tables, chairs, linens, and could have even done centerpieces though I already had my own. The site is also ADA compliant and had a golf cart that was available to guests who had limited mobility!
On the day of my wedding the weather started out with a bad thunderstorm and the team had a plan B to be executed if we couldn't keep the ceremony outside. Everything thankfully cleared up and it was a perfect outdoor ceremony that wasn't to hot! The whole Bay Pointe Inn team executed all our previous planning which allowed me to get ready for the day and mentally prepare for getting married. Our day of planner, Kaylyn, kept me updated on the schedule and assisted to keep everything running smoothly.
The food was tasty and abundant! I would suggest trying out the Terrace Grill to get an idea of the amazing food that this venue can provide. Also the whole setting created a perfect atmosphere from the flowers and shrubs to the small coy pond to the lake!!!! I am overwhelmed by how amazing the entire experience was and I know that the memories I will keep are all positive! You will see from the pictures that the backdrop for any pictures are perfect!! -
