We recently had the pleasure of working with Batter-Up Bakery for our wedding desserts, and I can confidently say they exceeded all of our expectations. From the first consultation to the big day, their team was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs.
Customizable Options: Batter-Up Bakery offered a wide variety of options, from classic wedding cakes to an assortment of mini pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and even whoopie pies! We loved how flexible they were in helping us design a dessert table that matched our wedding theme, budget, and guest count. They worked with us at a tasting consultation to come up with unique flavor combinations and ensured everything would be fresh and delicious.
Taste: The desserts were nothing short of spectacular! Each treat was bursting with flavor—our guests couldn’t stop talking about the mini desert shooters, cream puffs, and the whoopie pies. For our bride and groom wedding cakes the layers were moist, and the frosting was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just the right amount of creaminess. We also appreciated that they offered gluten-free and vegan options, which made all of our guests feel included.
Presentation: On the wedding day, the setup of the dessert table was beautifully arranged. The Batter-Up Bakery team made sure everything looked picture-perfect, with elegant displays and a cohesive design. It really added an extra touch of sophistication to our reception. The details, like the cake topper and decorative elements, were just what we wanted and so much fun!
Service: The service was outstanding from start to finish. Batter-Up Bakery was communicative and timely, ensuring we were involved every step of the way. They even delivered everything to the venue on time and set up the dessert table beautifully. They took care of everything, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Julie is the best! She made our special day perfect! She’s easy to communicate with and delivered us the highest quality deserts that we could have ever hoped for! Our guests are still raving over the delicious assortment of deserts that we had on our table. Plus she had something for everyone, down to our guests with special dietary needs! I would recommend Julie and Batter Up Bakery hands down! -

Julie was fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend going to her with any of your baking needs, especially wedding cakes! She is super nice, very professional, and great at what she does. From the time we scheduled our tasting with her to our wedding day she was very helpful and responsive. She delivered our cake safely to our venue which was so helpful, and the cake looked and tasted amazing! -

Julie is our absolute favorite. She is an amazing human being and is very talented at what she does. All her baked goods are amazing. Our cake and cupcakes were decorated beautifully. Our cupcakes were decorated to be succulents. We had left over cupcakes and cake that we ate for about a week after the wedding and they were just as delicious as they were the day of the wedding. I recommend Julie to everyone!! -

Julie's desserts were one of the highlights of our wedding last weekend in Waterville Valley, NH. Our guests were RAVING and the entire dessert table was devoured! But where Julie really made our day so special was her flexibility. With my husband & many of his family members being from Brazil, we really wanted to incorporate both Brazilian & American desserts. And Julie was happy to take on the challenge when no other American baker in the area was! She learned how to make brigadeiros & beijinhos just for us, and she nailed it. All our guests were blown away at how authentic they tasted! It's truly a testament to Julie's skill, kind heart, and passion for baking. Thank you so much Julie! -

Absolutely Amazing!
Julie was wonderful. We planned our wedding from TX, and she was so helpful in coordinating with our schedules to meet with us for the cake tasting and to help with the planning process. Everything was delicious, but her apple pies are possibly the best thing I have ever tasted. Julie set everything up at the venue for us, and it turned out beautifully. We had a cake and mini pumpkin and apple pies, and everything was a hit with the guests. I love that this is such a small business with top notch communication, execution, and professionalism. I would book Julie again in a heartbeat! -

Delicious Dessert Bar
Julie is the perfect person to help you with wedding catering. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with our cake and day of sandwich needs.
We were searching for a wedding cake and stumbled upon Batter Up Cakes upon the recommendation of our wedding venue. She created a grooms cake which we had for our rehearsal dinner. She made my daughter's wedding cake which was delicious. We chose cupcakes and a dessert bar for the wedding desserts. Julie made 2 different cupcakes and three dessert bars and individually wrapped them for us because of our concerns with the pandemic.
She suggested sandwiches for the day of the wedding which I never would have thought of. The groomsmen thanked me for those sandwiches because after setting up chairs for the wedding they were starving. They said those sandwiches were delicious and saved the day for them. We had the sandwiches available for the vendors and everyone during the busy wedding set up! Julie also catered our bridal breakfast with delicious pastries and fruit.
All of her ideas and recommendations were so helpful. -

Perfect cake for a mountain themed wedding
We loved our wedding cake and cupcakes from Batter Up! We were married this past summer and finding a cake vendor last minute was difficulty due to COVID-19. Batter Up was super helpful and very quick to respond to my questions and needs. They provided us with a beautiful cake my husband and I loved and our family loved the cupcakes that matched our theme perfectly. We could not have asked for a better bakery for our wedding! -

Julie was awesome to work with! Her bakery was referred to my by the local area Facebook group for my wedding since I was unfamiliar with the area vendors. I had a microwedding, only 32 people). Since it was so small, we originally thought we’d just buy some stuff close to Where we reside, but realized that would be tough to transport a small cake and other desserts for a two hour car ride to where we got married.
That being said, I reached out to her only about two and half weeks before my wedding date (talk about procrastination on my part!). Julie was super responsive, offered picture examples of past work of her’s, and conducting my orders entirely via Facebook messenger. She even delivered to my wedding site and I had no idea where her bakery actually was as I had never been there in person (and still haven’t, need to next time in the area)!
Our cake was small, as was the rest of our order (variety of cupcakes, cannolis, and dessert bars to feed our small number of guests). I wish I took pictures of her work to share looked just as delicious as they actually tasted!!
It’s probably good her bakery is two hours from where I live, otherwise I’d be in there twice a week buying goodies!! -
