Barrister's Bakery cakes are THE BEST! Not only did my husband and I enjoy them, but I had multiple guests come up to me after the wedding to tell me how much they enjoyed the cake. I highly recommend her for any wedding! -

Couldn't Have Asked for Anything Better!
Emily with Barrister's Bakery's is simply awesome! I had the great privilege of using Barrister's for 3 different occasions (my sister's wedding anniversary, my mom's birthday, and for my own wedding). Emily was prompt, professional, super friendly, flexible and so easy to work with. All the cakes were heavenly, and the cream is what I call the "real stuff!" Highly recommended to any couples getting married! -

Delicious and beautiful cakes
Emily gives extremely personalized service with the flavors and cake design. She went above and beyond with her delivery and helping us figure out what to order. She did a great job and our guests were so happy. We wish we had more left over! -

Absolutely stunning and delicious
Emily was amazing to work with. She was very accommodating and even made us a special funfetti tier due to it being my husband's favorite. The cake design was beautiful. We ended up having cake and cupcakes to get a variety of flavors which was great for appealing to the different guests taste. All the flavors were amazing. I would definitely work with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent baker.Barrister's Bakery LLC's reply:

Emily is everything you could ask for in a vendor and so much more. She was able to take my dream vision from a variety of photos to combine them into my very own unique masterpiece. From the first time I met Emily I knew she was the one who would have to make my cake. She is kind, inspiring, and worth every penny. Plus her cake taste pretty dang good too. I can not explain the excitement we had when choosing our cake flavors because Emily had so many amazing options to try for our tasting. Her flavors are not only delicious, but she offers so many unique options to the typical flavors you see at many weddings. Any cake made by Emily is going to make your event one to remember! -

All around quality!
Our wedding cupcakes were absolutely amazing. They looked perfect and we got so many compliments on them.( The photo below was done by a guest as we do not have our photos back and does not do them justice). Emily did a wonderful job. Thank you!Barrister's Bakery LLC's reply:

The Cake Is Just So GOOD
My mom and I stopped by to visit Emily of Barrister's Bakery with the hopes of just finding a little cutting cake for my big day. Emily sat us down in her home with a spread of beautifully displayed sample slices. After trying one bite, we knew we would have to get much more than just a cutting cake - we wanted all of the guests to have an opportunity to experience Emily's superb baking. We decided on a four tiered, multi-flavor cake because we really could not decide on one flavor we liked best. Emily even went out of her way to make us a cake topper that fit our style for the day. I would recommend Barrister's Bakery to anyone who does not want to worry at all about the quality of their dessert on the wedding day. I would even recommend this cake to the brides (like me) who typically do not even enjoy cake!Barrister's Bakery LLC's reply:

The BEST Wedding Cake Vendor you will EVER find!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My husband and I loved our Barrister Bakery wedding cake!!
Barrister Bakery was wonderful to work with and provided the most beautiful, delicious cake! We scheduled a cake tasting and we were so impressed by her professional presentation. Her cakes are very high quality and she uses fresh ingredients as often as possible and natural extracts when needed (no artificial flavors!). We looked at so many other bakers in Roanoke and none compared the quality offered by Barrister Bakery. Also, her prices are very reasonable for a high-quality wedding cake.
Above all, however, she is such a dream to work with! She is responsive and communicates well, she checked-in with me several times prior to the wedding to make sure nothing changed, and sent me the sweetest follow up notes after the wedding. I told my husband we need to go ahead and put in an order for another cake for our 1-year wedding anniversary because the cake was so delicious!!
If you are looking for a truly remarkable cake at an affordable price from the kindest vendor, look no further!! -

Wedding Cake
Emily did 6 different cakes for me so that I could have a variety of flavors without having a traditional tiered cake. Each cake had a different design but they were all cohesive and it made a beautiful cake table. I still hear about how wonderful the cake was 4 years later! -
