A dream come true!
I was always very nervous of hiring a videographer that I’ve never met before! I had a thousand questions running through my head.. how will they know what I like? What if they don’t capture the right moments? What if I feel uncomfortable in front of them and it shows on the video? Well all I can say is, I have found a life long friend in Ken Brownlee. He made my whole wedding day even more perfect than I could have imagined by capturing every little detail! He was so friendly and understanding (we got married during the beginning of a confirmed global pandemic and he still made the effort to travel to us and film our day without even mentioning the forbidden C word!!) and also took time to get to know us both in order to really make sure our wedding video showed the chemistry between us both! He provided me with my short film and first dance video super quick. My full length wedding video wasn’t going to be shipped out to me until the following week but on the morning of my birthday, Ken surprised me with a private link to our video so that I could watch it on my birthday! Such a thoughtful idea by him and I will never forget the length of kindness he went to in order to make my wedding day and my birthday so special! Thank you for all your hard work Ken, you have given me memories that I will cherish for a lifetime! -

Amazing experience
We received the video this wknd and LOVED it! I didn’t even know you had so many cameras all over the house! You are a true artist in every sense, capturing every special moment without disturbing any part of the event. Is as if u were there but we didn’t even noticed after the wedding started!

Great service and fun to work with
We really enjoyed working with ken this year- and the video we received was awesome! He did a great job at pulling together a short video and the entire feature length film helps us re-live our entire special day! I am so thankful that we found Ken! If I had it to do over again I would choose Ken again! -

We are so thankful
We initially came across Ken’s work on YouTube when we were looking at weddings in Cancun. We contacted him and he helped us in many of our decision making dilemmas, including introducing us to a wonderful photographer, as well as helping us narrow down potential resorts we had in mind. He went above and beyond to help us plan our wedding day. We were fortunate enough to meet him in person a year before our wedding date. He was not only welcoming and personable, he made us feel very confident in choosing him as our videographer. Ken and his assistant arrived at our wedding, earlier than the scheduled time, full of positive energy. We were very happy with the final results. The video coverage that Ken captured on our wedding day was perfect. In addition to the highlight video and full-length film, we had drone coverage as well which really made our video stand out! We are very thankful and highly recommend VisualMedia! -

Great experience!
It's hard choosing the perfect videographer to capture the most special day of your life but it's even harder when you're having a destination wedding! Our wedding planner highly recommended Visualmedia productions. After seeing some of their work, including my cousins wedding in Mexico two yrs ago, I knew they were the perfect choice! Not only are they super easy going but they are very responsive to any questions or requests you may have leading up to the special day. Ken and his team made for a positive experience on our wedding day. With all that goes on during that special day, he was able to capture all the special moments! We highly recommend them if you are getting married in Mexico! -

The GO-TO Videographer!
Ken was a pleasure to with with. His professionalism, knowledge of our Ethic needs and quick responses took that stressful part of wedding planning away. We did a 3 day event at The Grand at Moon Palace in cancun- Ken was punctual and made each day super fun and made everyone laugh around him. You won’t regret hiring him for your wedding! -

Best videographer!
Ken organized a call with us in the States mo the before our wedding, and set us totally at ease. He was prompt, arrived with everything needed for our big day, and produced us the most wonderful memory we have from our wedding. We will treasure the video for years to come. I approached ken about our wedding video and he was incredible from the outset! He was so friendly, super excited about shooting our wedding and made so many suggestions that we hadn’t even thought of! Ken and Tatiana were so lovely to work with on the day and so professional they were discrete and made everyone feel at ease all day. Ken included some amazing personal interviews with guests at the end of our wedding video which was a fab surprise when we watched it back! I cannot recommend visual media productions highly enough, the cost for the package is more than worth the result! Thankyou so much Ken! -

Ken and his team were so great to work with, I felt extremely comfortable booking with him before the wedding and it was the best spent money. Having a video of our wedding that was tailored so well to fit our personalities is a memory we will have for the rest of our lives. Ken was so accommodating down to earth and fun to have at our wedding he made us laugh while ensuring to get the perfect footage. Ken made sure to communicate every step of the way I felt comfortable knowing he was our man on the ground in Mexico being that we were planning the wedding from Canada. Ken had great suggestions and insight into questions I had about the wedding footage and to top it off we got the video so very quickly so we could re live the best day of our lives! We were able to select the best package for our budget and truly got more then we expected. -

From start to finish Ken was super amazing. I asked a lot of questions and Ramona was very patient in answering them and then recommending the best package. Ken showed up early and was extremely professional the entire day. Him and his assistant were very easy to work with as we had some hiccups through the day with weather. I love love love my short and long films. I recommend Ken and his team! If I would give 10/10 stars I would! Thanks again for a fantastic memory. -

I stumbled upon Visualmedia Productions during my search for a videographer for my wedding at Moon Palace this past June. There were so many great reviews, that I went ahead and contacted Ken. From the beginning, he and his team were responsive, friendly, and patient in answering all my questions. When I finally met Ken, I knew I had made the right choice. He was personable, warm, fun yet professional and made me feel at ease in spite of my nerves. I had underestimated the timing of the day, but Ken and his assistant, Karen, were more than happy to accommodate my request for them to stay an extra hour. Ken kept in touch with me after the wedding with updates on the video editing process and we couldn't be happier with how the video turned out. Thank you, Ken - we can't imagine having anyone else film our wedding! -

Working with Ken was a great experience! He was so easy to work with and very flexible. I had a 3 day Hindu wedding in Cancun and knowing that, Ken customized a great rate that would work with my budget and capture all the moments I wanted from those three days. Everyone absolutely loves our highlight video! He even used a drone during our wedding to capture some pictures and footage for our video. I was planning a proposal in Cancun, Mexico, several months in advance when I researched a photographer and she referred me to Ken Brownlee for videography services. I wanted to capture our proposal not just through photos but on video as well. I was introduced to Ken Brownlee through a photographer Ken works events with and he was funny, professional, and simply envisioned my fiancé and I proposal the way I did when I explained it to him. I loved that Ken was attentive to my needs, had a can do attitude, and was realistic even when I seemed to not be. I told Ken I wanted our proposal to take us through a journey of our relationship as well as capture our wedding proposal and I gave him a list of questions I wanted him to ask during our proposal video to further explain our journey. Following up to the event, I extended the hours of service and Ken was available to accommodate my request. Leading up the proposal, I began to get quite nervous and Ken was extremely understanding as well as provide encouraging feed back. Ken and I discussed that the proposal was a surprise and I had to create a way to keep our proposal a surprise. With Ken's help, we decided to have Ken and the photographer dress up like the yacht staff so they could blend up to keep the surprise a surprise. Ken was before time and ready to work. Also, he was well groomed and was dressed appropriately. In addition, Ken was proactive with placing the mic on me discreetly and offering helpful suggestions to keep the surprise again, a surprise. From the moment Ken greeted my fiancé and I to the moment he completed his services, he remained kind, professional, understanding, flexible, and available. I recommend Ken for every event because he assisted with making our Cancun, Mexico proposal special. -

We got married in cancun in May 2016. Our day was amazing and it was made super easy and went smoothly thanks to help of our awesome wedding videographer. On the lead up to our wedding if we had any questions he was very fast at responding. When we watched the highlights of our wedding we thought they were fantastic and when we received the whole DVD, it was amazing, such a great job, we absolutely love our DVD we couldn't of asked for it to be any better. I would highly recommend visualmedia productions. -

I didn't know Ken nor did I see his work prior to booking with him for our wedding day. He was referred to me by my photographer who works closely with him. I had only seen my photographer's work and I was excited after I saw her photography. But it totally makes sense that she works closely with Ken as he is not only talented, but also made my video relaxing and fun. He was amazing to work with. Never have I ever felt at ease. Ken wasn't just simply there in the background; he was able to capture the most precious moments to my family and I and being able to relive my wedding day through watching his videos was amazing. I would definitely recommend him to any and all of my friends. Thanks Ken for giving me something my husband and I (along with our families) will treasure forever. -

We could not be happier with our wedding video. Ken captured the day perfectly I'm so glad we decided to have it filmed and couldn't be happier with the final products. Ken is professional and fun in equal mesaures which really helps to relax you on the day. However it's not just the day, he kept in touch before and after the wedding. We can't wait to come back to Mexico and catch up. -

No regrets on booking with Visual Media! While there are many options in Riviera Maya/Cancun, our wedding planner put us in contact with them and we couldn't have been happier choosing Ken and Ramona. They were so helpful letting us know how weddings in Mexico are and really helped us choose the videographer that would give us the most for our very long wedding day. We decided to take a trip to Playa del Carmen to visit our vendors beforehand and Ken was so easy-going and light that we felt our wedding day would be just as breezy. We wanted someone to capture the spontaneous moments and we couldn't have been more pleased all around with the efforts, time, and incentives they gave us. Our guests were completely stunned with the drone shots. The video was edited very quickly. We received the finals in a very short time. We love it! Not only were they our videographers but they also became our friends. Thanks for giving us a great film of our most special day!! -

My husband and I had our destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. When it came down to choosing our videographer I started to panic. How was I suppose to choose a videographer in Mexico if I was in Miami, Florida?! I did my research and I came across Ken. From the moment I contacted him, I knew right away we needed him for our wedding. They put me at ease and assured me everything would turn out beautiful. The day of my wedding they arrived early and they guided me through the whole process. No matter how stressed I was Ken always managed to put a huge smile on my face. When I watched my video for the first time it was like I was getting married all over again. The footage that was captured was amazing and he paid so much attention to every little detail. Everything we missed during our wedding due to us being too busy was captured by Ken. I could watch our video over and over and never get tired of it. We were married in January 2016 at Moon Palace Golf and Spa resort. Ken and his assistant arrived on time and provided beautiful coverage all day through all the different aspects of our wedding! He was very flexible with a few requests we had about the people in our wedding video which made everything perfect for us. We could not be more pleased with his prompt and meticulous service throughout the entire process. We were initially on the fence about getting a wedding videographer seeing some botched wedding videos in the past but the value Ken provided for us made the decision so easy. We are very very pleased with his work and would recommend him to any of our friends and family in a similar situation. He was very respectful and kind to us from the beginning of the process till the end, and I believe his works speaks for itself. -

From the first time we had contact with Ken he was very warm and welcoming.
The value for money was superb.
He didn't feel like a stranger on the wedding day, he felt like a part of the family and made us all feel so comfortable.

Visualmedia Productions did so amazing on my wedding video. They are so nice and very professional. I loved everything about my video. They did such a great job of capturing our special day. That day was so windy outside and in the video you could not even tell or hear any of the wind in the video...I was very impressed! They have amazing skills and are very good at what they do! I am very pleased and so so happy that my parents pushed me into getting a video. At first I was not going to get the video for my wedding but then I decided to kind of last minute. It was well worth it...it captured so many moments that the pictures didn't and I'm glad that in my future I could look back at the special moments and fun times I had with my family in this video! They are so amazing I don't know where to begin. Ken is sooooooo nice and amazing and easy to work with. I had an orthodox Jewish wedding which he has never done before. We explained everything to him and he captured all of the things we asked and more! He is in contact after all the time letting you know where he is in the process and his turn around is super fast! We are from the UK and got married at Moon Palace, Cancun in September 2015.
Ken and his assistant arrived, very damp, at Moon Palace on my very rainy wedding day like a ray of sunshine! Ken's infectious laughter and super friendly personality told me immediately we were going to get along!
During the planning, my husband and I could really not decide whether we wanted to have a video on the wedding day and wow am I pleased we did! We only had a select few people able to travel with us to Mexico and that was what swung it, we needed to be able to show people what actually happened that day.
Ken got our wedding highlight video to us really quickly after the wedding and we shared it with friends and family on Facebook. The video is an amazing reminder of our beautiful wedding day, but also, Ken has managed to capture the essence of the day perfectly and really give those people that weren't able to come with us, an insight to how much fun we had from start of the day getting ready, to everyone going crazy dancing at the reception. I still burst into happy tears every time I see the moment my Dad and I turn the corner to walk down the aisle, so beautiful and such a special moment captured perfectly!
We have had so many amazing compliments about our video - it has reduced friends of friends, people we don't even know, to tears!!
I would HIGHLY recommend these guys and if in any doubt as to whether or not to have a video, DO IT, you will not regret it.

I honestly was on the fence about video services during planning our wedding. It seemed so expensive. After much consideration we were introduced to Ken. He quickly helped us realize the importance of video and offered us a great price, one that we could actually afford. Fast forward to our wedding day... Ken MADE the day. I was beyond stressed, my kids were not cooperating and my bridal party was, well spacey to say the least. Ken was able to capture some magical moments through he craziness of the day. He was so kind and patient with us. If there was one thing I could change... I would have had them stay longer. Out of all the money we spent on our destination wedding I feel like our video service was worth every penny and the best money spent!!! My husband became ill with unexpected cancer after our wedding and Ken has remained in contact often checking in to see how he is doing. It speaks volumes for the type of business he represents. I cry every time we watch our video and could not have imagined not having it. The quality of professionalism form the first moment of speaking to Ken all the way to now nearly 8 months after our special day has surpassed any other vendor. The video itself is perfect, from the bottom of my heart I thank Ken for everything! Watching our video we are able to re-live our wedding day for years and generations to come! -

We were married at a villa in Playacar in a very informal, untraditional ceremony with a handful of friends, beers on the beach, and a pizza/pool party at the villa. Ken was happy to see it through. He was always immediately responsive to our emails. When the day arrived, it flowed smoothly at first, but went awry at the nail salon, where we finished a full hour later than expected. After a journey involving a crazed taxi ride and a Mexican police escort, I arrived at the villa nearly 40 minutes late for my own wedding! Several people, including Ken and his assistant, had been waiting more than half an hour for my arrival. I was in a mad panic, but the first face to greet me at the door was Ken, and he was wearing the most calming, sincere smile. He told me not to worry about anything, that this party wouldn’t start without me, and to take my time. His calming effect on me likely saved our entire wedding day. Over the next couple of hours, while my hair and make-up were being done, Ken would come and go from my line of sight. His cheerfulness and love for his job made him so easy to work with. When Ken emailed me the link to our highlight show, he had captured my husband’s vows so beautifully that they made me cry (again). When we received and watched our full-length video, we agreed that Ken captured every bit of love from that day, and with the informal style we wanted. From the clarity of the teardrops streaming across my face, to the unplanned stumbles that we and our sweet Pastor made during the ceremony, to the boozy beach dancing and beer pong session, our video is a truly genuine depiction of our wedding day. We plan on watching this treasure every year on our anniversary as part of our celebration, and we could not have asked for anyone better to illustrate it as beautifully and honestly as Ken has. Thank you so much to Ken and Visualmedia Productions. Your skill, as well as your remarkable kindness will be remembered for at least two lifetimes. -

Ken and his assistant were amazing from the first conversation. They were responsive and always open to ideas and wishes I had up until the day. Ken and his assistant were timely the day of and were with us throughout the day. The nice thing was...I hardly noticed him, he blended in and felt just like family which allowed him to capture our day beautifully. We could not be happier with the video Ken did for us on our special day! Honestly, from initial contact via e-mail right through to delivery of the finished product, it was a breeze and Ken was so professional & prompt...not to mention he's a very friendly and fun-loving guy! As a fellow Canuck, I felt totally at ease with putting my trust in his services, and I'm so glad we did.
The short highlight video was great and we were able to easily share it with our family & friends who couldn't make it down for the actual wedding. But the pièce de résistance was the feature length video that captured everything from getting ready, the ceremony, reception and dancing...and all the stuff we missed in between, with the business/stress of the day! I keep telling everyone "thank goodness I have a video, because I barely remember the day!'.
My husband is a professional photographer/videographer himself, and he was quite happy with the beautiful results, so that speaks volumes. I appreciated his advice/input, and like I said, he was so easy to work with...and didn't charge us an arm and a leg like many of the others in the area do! (Honestly, we were quoted double his price by a few other videographers in the Playa/Cancun area!). Don't waste your time and money on the resort-recommended videographers/photographers...go with Ken!

Ken was wonderful to work with. He was on time, extremely helpful in the hecticness of bride and bridesmaids all getting ready, and provided us with a wonderful memory. He even volunteered to take some pictures for us when our photographer was late, which was a very nice gesture and fitting for his very kind personality. Ken is an amazing individual! It was our pleasure to have him be apart of our destination wedding in Mexico as well as capture our videography. When it comes to reponsiveness, I am pretty sure Ken responded to every email I sent him within two hours. That is amazing...especially in Mexico! Ken had started to edit our footage before we were even back in the states and we recieved our video in less than two weeks. We were SO PLEASED with Kens creative work and now have a treasure that will forever perserve our memory. AMAZING!!!!
Ken was with us for 8 hours on our wedding day at the Barcelo Maya Palace. Ken and his team made everyone feel so comfortable and it wasn't awkward at all being filmed all day, which was one of my original concerns. They were a lot of fun to work with and the end result was more than we could have ever wished for!
We had a large group of over sixty people and Ken was able to capture so many special moments, not only between me and my husband, but between our guests as well.
The video is an incredible memory of the best day of our live. We are now able to share this day with our family and friends that were unable to make the trip.
Ken was great at getting back to me via email and the whole process was incredibly smoothe!

Firstly, having a destination wedding was a wonderful idea that my wife and I would never change. However, having a destination wedding definitely limits the number of guests that can attend. With that said, being able 'capture' our special day was very important on our list.
With many different vendors offering services, deals and packages, it was a bit overwhelming to say the least. Visualmedia Productions's Bridal relations consultant Ramona definitely took the time to answer all questions, share all feedback and opinions. There was never a moment I felt pressured to commit with this company. They truly wanted to film, and left the decision up to me.
Honestly, though most of my wedding was quite a blur, I definitely am even more thankful for having 2 Blu Rays and digital files to remember our special day. Although Ken and his second shooter were always there, they were definitely not felt/seen. They were, videographer ninjas in my opinion. There were angles and shots I didn't even realize were being recorded.
After the wedding, Ken was always in touch and communicating about timeline, sending preview clips, and confirming if we wanted to include or exclude some clips. We felt part of the entire process, and it was much appreciated. Thank you to Ken and his team for letting us see our dream wedding day for many years to come! -
