    Professional, Sweet, and made me feel Beautiful!!!

    Megan was by far one of my favorite vendors from our wedding day! Megan and her team simply did a phenomenal job making my bridesmaids, mother, and myself look beautiful on the wedding day. Megan was very easy to talk to. I felt relaxed and at ease during our Trial and on the morning of the wedding, which is exactly what you should feel as a Bride!! She even took pictures, videos, and made a Reel of my girls and I, and sent them to me the next week. I didn't expect it, and I cried when I saw those precious moments she captured. I can honestly say it was the most beautiful makeup I've ever had done, and her airbrushing technique made the skin and texture of all of our faces look so smooth and flawless. My husband was blown away when he saw me on the wedding day!! I truly felt beautiful and radiant on my wedding day, thanks to Megan!

    Just book her!

    Meagan was the makeup artist for my wedding in May of 2024. She did my makeup (the bride), 6 bridesmaids, and my mom and mother in law. Not only was she on time, and incredibly professional, she did GORGEOUS work. She is also just a sweet person, and was lovely to be around for both my trial and wedding day. I've seen a lot of not-so-great wedding makeup, and was very concerned about an artist who was too heavy handed or not looking like myself. Meagan was patient in addressing these fears, and listened to exactly what I asked for, even when I did last minute changes day of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of my girls looked beautiful, and so did my mom and mother in law. This is a testament to Meagan's skills in that she can work with all ages, skin types, and skin tones. I would highly recommend her!

    Brial Trial & Day of Hair and Makeup

    Meagan was absolutely amazing from the trial to the wedding day! I don't wear makeup and was very nervous throughout the whole process, to say she made me feel and look beautiful is an understatement! She is really the best! I cannot recommend enough!🤍

    You won't regret hiring Meagan!

    My wife and I are so glad we chose Meagan for our hair and makeup. We immediately felt at ease with her wonderful personality and friendly demeanor. Make sure you do a trial! During my trial, we realized my eyes didn't like something, and I ended up removing all my makeup right away. Meagan checked in with me shortly after, and worked with me to figure out what the cause may be. My eyes didn't water at all on our elopement day! Our hair and makeup looked great all day. I can't recommend Meagan enough. She was such a trooper showing up before 5 am to get us done in time for the elopement!

    Sweet, Professional and made myself & my wedding party look & feel beautiful!

    Meagan is such a gem and I absolutely recommend working with her for any of your upcoming events. She made me and my family feel so relaxed during the day and stunning with both hair and makeup. Our make-up and hair were all flawless for the entire 10 hours of pictures and celebrations even with our 106 degree heat! We loved Jocelyn that came to help out on the wedding day as well - My mother-in-law - was so happy getting her make-up done with her and made her feel so comfortable. We loved having Meagan and Jocelyn a part of our big day and hope that everyone else gets to enjoy the time with both of them.

    Book Meagan!!!

    Meagan was so friendly and professional throughout the whole booking, trial, and wedding day process. She was very responsive and always so nice! She did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup, and I could not have felt more beautiful on my wedding day! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

    I loved working with Meagan, she was very responsive, she made me feel very comfortable during the trial and did a wonderful job. You know she did an amazing job when your two year old niece keeps telling you and all of the bridesmaids “so pwetty”. LOL but seriously, Meagan & McKenzie did an amazing job and I recommend 100%

    Beautiful Work

    Meagan replied to all of my messages within the hour and is extremely reliable. My bridal party was requesting that she did their makeup because she did such a beautiful job! Will use her again in the future for events.

    Amazing work and reasonable prices!

    Meagan & her assistant did all of our hair & makeup services for my wedding. My bridesmaids, our moms and of course myself all turned out beautifully! They were so sweet, on time, professional and efficient. I especially loved how my airbrush and individual false lashes looked. Meagan really listens to each girl and her preferences and will tweak everything until you are 100% in love with your look. Her attention to detail and patience was amazing. She even went above & beyond, coming back at 2:00am after the wedding to re-do my hair & makeup for a sunrise photoshoot. We all loved working with her & I would 100% recommend her for wedding HMUA services! Thank you Meagan!

    I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to use Meagan for my wedding hair and makeup! I felt so beautiful, thanks to her amazing skills! She met me on time at my hotel and was so accommodating. She put up with my indecisiveness and kept a smile on her face the entire time. I couldn’t recommend Meagan Renee Artistry more.     Elopement: COVID, fires, park closures!

    My experience with Meagan was phenomenal. I was planning an elopement and I had reached out to her 4 weeks before my wedding. She was so responsive and as someone who was planning something last minute, I really appreciate the quick response. Also during those 4 weeks, Yosemite National Park (venue) had closed due to air quality and wildfires, and Meagan was so kind to keep me updated on the status. She was even willing to work with us on a new date. Also keep in mind, she was quick to respond every time and that's probably what I appreciated the most. Then the park opened back up in time for our original date and she was still flexible with us! When the plans are starting to circle down the drain, I appreciated that I had at least one thing that I could rely on and that was Meagan.

    Since the wedding was happening faster than usual, it didn't make sense to do a trial. Then I started to get nervous about my look, and I asked Meagan if we could do a trial the day before the actual wedding. She advised me that it was unusual but understood that I needed it to calm my nerves. The services I received from Meagan was bridal trail H&MU, bridal H&MU, and two bridesmaids H&MU. The trial went great and Meagan was really responsive when something didn't look quite right to me. I also don't wear make up often, only on special occasions so I felt a bit weird with heavier than usual make up. However, Meagan assured me that for professional photos, its better to have heavier make-up so that it actually shows up in photos. Even though we went with heavier make-up, she nailed the look I was going for, a more "natural but enhanced" version of me. What was great was that I wore the trial H&MU all day and Meagan checked in with my at night to see if everything went well and if there was anything to change for the day of.

    Meagan is a true MVP, because my day of H&MU started at 12:00 AM and she made that 2 hour drive to arrive on time. My day-of H&MU session went great, then she did my mom and sister-in-law. My mom was a bit picky about her hair but Meagan happily obliged and changed the location of my mom's bun after she was already done. Thanks for that Meagan! We finished around 4:30 AM, which was exactly the time I stated that we needed to be ready by. Unfortunately I was unable to see her off because I had to hurry off to get dressed and everything. But I just really wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for her work and for her just being an amazing person.

    The make up lasted ALL DAY. I was out in Yosemite, hiking, sweating, and just going about the entire park all day from 6AM to 9PM. I made sure to take occasional looks in the mirror throughout the day, but I didn't notice anything that needed touching up, except just the lips. I took a closer look at the end of the day, and everything still looked good! The eyeliner wasn't smudged, the false lashes weren't coming off at the ends, and it looked exactly when I left that morning.

    Overall I had reached out to about 5 other vendors and probably had discussions with about 3 of them. Her pricing is very reasonable and I didn't feel like I was selling a kidney in order to look amazing. I wanted someone I could click with and someone I would feel comfortable telling them what I wanted. What was also great was that she was willing to do just one service. Originally I was only going to do H&MU for one and she agreed to do it, then I added on two more. Other vendors required a minimum of 5 people, and since I was doing an elopement, I honestly didn't need that much.

    Hopefully whoever is reading this review will choose Meagan to do their H&MU. You won't regret it and you'll be glad to have someone on your side.

    Her goal is to make you happy, comfortable, and beautiful!

    I feel so happy to have found meagan and her team! I am not someone who wears makeup too often, and she did such an amazing job creating the look I envisioned. A couple of months before my wedding I was still down a makeup and hairstylist, until I found Meagan Renee Artistry. After a review of her website and gallery, I loved how her makeup looked natural, romantic, and timeless. Her prices were reasonable and worked for my budget, as her prices are clearly listed on her website. Once I inquired with her, she got back to me almost immediately. She was responsive to all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend getting a trial with her before your wedding day, as she really takes the time to listen to your wants and needs, and then executes it perfectly on your big day. She was also able to accommodate my big group, and even created a schedule for us the morning of. I especially loved her care in staying until my veil was put in, and traveling where I needed her the day of. Meagan and her assistant made sure to touch up all of the girls, and she even provided me with a touch up kit that I could keep for the night. She's talented, easy to talk to, and definitely the person you want on your biggest day. I highly recommend her, and can't wait to use her services again.

    Not worth the stress

    I hired Meagan for my wedding on 2/11/2023 to do my hair and makeup and my bridal party along with my two sisters and mom’s makeup and hair, after attending the hair and makeup trial I was disappointed with my hair and makeup, I had recently been a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and my hair and makeup was better then, than as a bride, however I still decided to give Meagan a second chance and allowed her to do my mom and two sister’s makeup for my big day, at first she did not want to honor my deposit and apply it to the remaining balance but thankfully I had all our conversations in writing and provided proof and she gladly adjusted the invoice which was good but my biggest complaint and why I wouldn’t hire her again is on the day of the wedding she was rough on my sisters and mother’s hair and one of my sister’s hair was left far beyond acceptable to which she asked Meagan if she could fix Meagan told her she would have to charge her again for hair mind you I was already paying 200 for each even though my sisters were only juniors and prices on her website/ Instagram quote 17 and under at 125, she also refused to do touch ups, her assistant on the other hand who was doing makeup was much kinder she fixed my sister’s hair because my sister was so stressed out and it broke my heart to hear my family was mistreated, I’m very disappointed, I feel like her pricing is not transparent she even charged a travel fee even though on her website she specifies no travel fee within 25 miles which we are well within, please save yourself the stress I can’t go back in time and change things but I’m hoping my review will at-least help someone save themselves the stress.

    Hi Ariana, first off, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the services that we provided.

    I am also sorry to hear that you were not happy with the trial run and surprised that you gave me a "second chance" without even communicating that you weren't happy with the first. When you left that day, nothing was said so I was under the impression that everything was fine, and our emails expressed none of those concerns about the trial run.

    Second, the emails that we exchanged in Dec due to the service changes were respectively changed. Due to those changes I mentioned we have a 5-service minimum, which is exactly what we did. Following the prices of what our contract stated it was $200 hair and makeup, we did not add "Junior Bridesmaids" to our price sheet until January 2023 when ALL prices increased and polices changed, this was after our agreement which was in December. So only new bookings received the updated price list with the increased prices. If I would have known this was a concern, I could have explained it to avoid this situation.

    Third, I tried my best to communicate with your mom and sisters the best way I could. My assistant did help with that communication since it was Spanish speaking when I found out that your sister didn't like the first style we had done, we fixed it no extra charge (Due to our contract, NEW contracts however yes, it is an additional charge) but again we did not charge you. Once her hair was redone, we were under the impression that she liked it, since nothing was said.

    As for the travel fee, private services have travel included up to 25 miles. Weddings, however, are different since most times there is more than one artist, and ALL artists have to be accounted for. The travel fee was listed in our contracted agreement.

    Again, I am truly sorry that we could not provide the experience you were expecting, and I hope this clears up any confusion that may have occurred.
