Mr. Steve couldn’t have made it any easier for us. He handled everything from notarizing to mailing off our certificate. He responded quickly. We asked Mr. Steve if he was able to show up earlier than our appointment and he was able to accommodate us. The entire process was stress free!

Marriage in Alabama is so easy now with just a document having to be signed. However, I still wanted someone that knew what they were doing with the filing, etc. Mr. Steve made it so easy and was very responsive. Everything was ready when we arrived and was completely finished in 5 minutes! Highly recommended.

Steve didn't know us , but you would have thought he did. He has a special gift and passion for doing weddings. He officiated our 5 year wedding renewal ceremony including our two youngest daughters. It was very sweet and sentimental. It brought happy tears to my eyes as every word from Steve was a reflection of who mecand my husband truly are and have gone through together. An excellent choice
Steve was great in helping us plan our wedding. We had to reschedule twice (covid & hurricane); he responded to our emails very quickly. He helped us pick the perfect spot. He made our ceremony very special and meaningful even though he has probably done this many times. He made everything so easy. He even took photos for us. Exactly what we were looking for!
We could not coordinate getting multiple family members from multiple states together for our wedding, so we decided to have a very simple, intimate ceremony on the beach with a couple of other close friends as witnesses. Steve and Bev were professional in every way and really did take the stress out of the event. Steve's words were carefully chosen and wholly appropriate for the setting. This was the spiritual uniting of two souls and Steve officiated that union with excellence. The day was perfect in every way and this team was key to making that happen.

My husband and I called Bev in a panic a week before our wedding, as our previous officiant had backed out on us. From our first phone call, Bev made us feel like family. She totally calmed my nerves and made it so obvious that we had picked the perfect officiant. The ceremony went off without a hitch thanks to sweet Bev! Steve did an exceptional job officiating our wedding! He was very informative in the preparation of our ceremony, and knowledgeable about the requirements of the location and procedures of the wedding license process. Their website is very easy to maneuver and has valuable information. Communication was very prompt and smooth setting our minds at ease that we chose the perfect person to officiate our wedding. He performed a fabulous meaningful ceremony, that fit us perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Due to unforeseen circumstances with the venue we were behind schedule and I had not even begun to get ready when Steve promptly arrived on time. He was very accommodating with allowing me time to get ready, provided me with reassurance that this was going to be a beautiful wedding and we would turn this day around. Pastor Steve was absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better man to marry us. I sent him our vows a couple days before and the wine box ceremony that we incorporated into our wedding. And he did beyond amazing incorporating our vows into his scripture we felt like we knew him Even though we met him only hours before I highly recommend him to anyone! We contacted Steve late in the planning process, but luckily for us his website is so informative we felt right at ease and knew we had made the right choice in requesting him to be the officiant at our wedding. He was very responsive to all emails and texts, and took the time necessary to go over special verses we would like read at the ceremony and gave us advice in writing our own vows/promises to each other. On the day of the wedding, Steve made us feel right at home like we had known him for years! He had the right mix of humor and grace and performed our ceremony perfectly. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our decision! If I could give BamaWedding more than 5 stars, I would. Words do not describe how phenomenal Steve is as a professional and person. The most responsive and kind-hearted person I've ever met. I was nervous being that I never met him and my fiance and I were not going to meet him until our wedding day, but Steve exceeded any and EVERY expectation I ever had. My fiance's family and mine have been to several weddings and they all said that Steve was, by far, the most thoughtful and personable officiant they've ever heard. My husband and I got married earlier this month in Silverhill, AL and Steve officiated our wedding. He did an absolutely beautiful job. Prior to rehearsal he asked if there was anything specific we would like said or done, he is very thorough and thoughtful. I am also from out of town and never met Steve before the day of our ceremony. He did a wonderful job for us, even after it started raining during the ceremony. A little rain didn't bother Steve, and he still gave us a perfectly balanced ceremony of contemporary and lightly religious (which was exactly what we requested). We booked Steve for our Fort Morgan beach wedding after reading the reviews here. It was the perfect choice. He was very prompt and helpful with answering all of my questions. He even checked with me beforehand on his attire so that he would not stand out in the photos. The ceremony was professional but also heartfelt. (We had a Christian ceremony with traditional vows.) Pastor Steve was incredibly sweet as was his wife. They made myself and my new husband feel welcomed in their beautiful home as well as special on our special day. Having done the expensive and extravagant wedding ceremony before I highly believe that it's not the venue or the dress or the long drawn out ceremony, that seem to be more of a show for everyone else to enjoy, that makes the day special. Its the two people who are standing there saying those special and meaningful vows to each other and the meaning behind them that makes the day what matters the most. I recently got married to my partner of 16 years on the beach in Fort Morgan Alabama. I had friends from Belgium and France as well as the US. We had guests from several different religions as well. I told Steve that we are very spiritual but did not want to be to preachy, he was absolutely wonderful.
All our guests we very impressed as were we. I have been a hotel concierge in Arizona for over 20 years and I have had to get a minister to preform weddings at my hotel. I have to say if I would have loved to have Steve name in my rolodex. He was absolutely fantastic!!!!

Steve performed our small wedding ceremony in front of our beach house. It was the perfect ceremony to blend our families. Our children were included in the ceremony and the whole thing was simple and amazingly sweet. I would recommend Steve to anyone. He was easy to get in touch with before the wedding, answered all of my questions, was very punctual and even a little early which was a great thing since the weather was iffy that day and we had to start the ceremony earlier than planned due to the threat of rain. It's kind of a scary thing to book wedding vendors online, but let me ease your mind on this choice, The Minister.
When searching for a minister to perform my daughters destination beach wedding ceremony I came across Steve's website Bamaweddings.org. I read all his reviews and I thought to myself that he is the answer to my prayer. He has a lot of choices to choose from, but we only needed him as our Minister. Steve exceeded all of my expectations. I was amazed how he performed the most beautiful ceremony I can ever remember witnessing. He was the answer to this Mom's prayer. This man is a miracle worker! I had contacted him months in advance (since I currently reside in Saint Louis) for the day that we had wished to use his services. However, once the day finally arrived, EVERYTHING that could possibly go wrong did as far as other plans went for my now husband and I! There was a giant accident that prevented us from arriving at his home on time for him to marry us. We contacted him ahead of time due to our worries and also because he was already scheduled to marry another lovely couple at the beach shortly after us. I was so upset and stressed that we wouldn't be able to get married that day! However, Steve was so kind and understanding! He told my husband and I to just meet him at the beach and that he'd marry us after the other couple! So in the end we got the wedding of our dreams! Every word this kind man said to us during that ceremony we held onto. And at the end of a chaotic day, he made our ceremony truly one that I'll never forget. So if you're looking for a minister that is willing to listen to you, exercise AMAZING patience and be more than willing to give you the service that you love at an amazing steal? I highly suggest this guy! Thank you SO much Mr Horn for making our day a memorable one!

Steve Horn is our Wedding Minister SUPERMAN! You will not be disappointed with his service. It felt like we knew him for years. He made our day super special and stress free! He did an amazing job with the ceremony and including our children, as we are a blended family. He was very easy to work with and stay in contact with, as we were from out of town. Would highly recommend him for any event.

Steve met with us for a tiny little Gulf Shores elopment. In the weeks before the wedding, he was very easy to contact, and answered any questions we had very quickly.
On the day of the wedding he was on time and he even waited patiently in our condo while I finished my makeup!
The beach ceremony was short and sweet, exactly like we had asked.
Steve is very professional, courteous, punctual, passionate, and funny. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Steve does a great job. I have used him for at least 70 weddings over the last two years. He is great with brides and grooms. Whenever I need an officiant he is my first phone call. His experience shines through at weddings and I have gotten many compliments.

Rev.Steve Horn, did an amazing job as officiant at our wedding. He did a blended family ceremony that included our children. He did such a great job that we are going back to Bama Weddings for our daughters wedding in 2015. I would recommend Bama Weddings if you are looking for someone to officiate your wedding in South Alabama.

We found Steve's website and immediately knew he was the one to perform the ceremony for my son and his fiancée. His website gave us the information we needed in a simple complete way. When we spoke to Steve on the phone he made us so comfort. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and meaningful. It was meaningful to the kids and to all of us. His years of experience as a Pastor were so obvious. You can tell he loves this!! We could not have been more pleased from the beginning to the end.

Steve did an excellent job on our wedding ceremony. We live out of town so I was a little nervous about choosing a minister we hadn't met before but we communicated both over the phone and by email. He was very quick to respond and very professional. We were very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend him to others.

Mr. Horn was an awesome wedding officiant. He was helpful in answering questions leading up to the service, easy to contact and flexible. When I wanted my wedding to be at 6 a.m. on the beach, he didn't have any qualms with the early time. He also didn't mind that we only had one ring and that our son walked me down the aisle. We had Mormon, Jewish and Christian guests in attendance and all were pleased with the beautiful ceremony. It was like Mr. Horn knew my fiance and I for years. His voice is kind and he doesn't have a noticeable accent, despite being from the south. Additionally, he made sure I knew how to file the correct papers since I am from Missouri and was getting married in Alabama. The ceremony was perfect.

We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding. Steve had a way of calming us and said the most beautiful words at our ceremony. Our family has even asked if he has written what he said as it was just perfect. If you choose a destination wedding, ask your planner for Steve Horn!! He was beyond our expectations :)
