The event Space at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel is stunning.
The guest hotel rooms are terrific; large, comfortable, clean and the views from the rooms are breathtaking.
The hotel location is fantastic. Baltimore Harbor East is close to Baltimore attractions, has amazing restaurants, and the walks along the Inner Harbor are wonderful.

All the staff was wonderful.
Jocelyn was our Event Manager. She was responsive, organized, professional and helped make the entire process of planning a wedding as stress free as possible. From the second we signed the event contract to the actual day of the event, Jocelyn made sure that every detail was perfect and that everything ran smoothly. Her advice was appreciated.

The food was amazing. We had 164 guests and 164 compliments about the meals.
The chef was attentive to special dietary needs( food allergies, vegan), which was greatly appreciated.

The ballroom was absolutely stunning. The tables beautifully set, the dance floor large enough for our guests to enjoy, and the meal service was phenomenal.

Overall, our wedding event at The Marriott Waterfront Hotel was perfect.

We did not get married at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, but we used it as our getting ready hotel and it was perfect! The hospitality suite was amazing for getting ready. It has huge windows looking out over the water, a nice kitchen and sitting area, and lots of space. I had 7 bridesmaids, plus other visitors throughout the weekend, and we had so much room. It is also a really nice place for pictures. I highly recommend getting ready in the hospitality suite!

We had a room block here for our wedding. Our event manager Jenna B. took care of all of our needs! All of my guests who stayed here loved the hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms have a beautiful view of the harbor, and it's in a great location. I was able to get ready here with my wedding party in a spacious suite. It was so easy to walk to nearby Whole Foods for breakfast and snacks. The hotel surprised my husband and I with a bottle of prosecco and strawberries after our wedding. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The Marriott Waterfront was the perfect venue for our wedding! Our wedding coordinator, Angie Irwin, was outstanding! She went about and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and our day was everything we wanted! I can not say enough good things about her! The venue was beautiful! Our cocktail hour overlooking the Inner Harbor set such a magical atmosphere! The venue space was perfect, tables were beautifully decorated and the room was spacious for our 173 guests! The food was delicious and staff paid such attention to detail and making sure everyone was happy! We were in good hands!

Marriott did an incredible job. The coordinator Justine took care of everything. The hotel was so accommodating and the food was delicious. I felt like I did not have to worry about anything. Every staff member I came in contact with was kind and fun to be around. The man, Wayne, who assisted in moving our luggage in and out of our hotel room was honestly incredible. He was funny and patient. The hotel was even able to update me from a bridal suite to the Roosevelt Suite. I do not have one bad word to say about the Marriott. I would recommend this location to anyone contemplating venues for their wedding.

Of the downtown hotels, we opted for the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for our wedding. And we have no regrets. Unlike some nearby hotels, which have a very business/institutional feel, the Marriott was warm and welcoming for all events linked to the wedding. We also were fortunate to have excellent hotel support from the planning through execution phases of our wedding-related events. With very few hiccups (those linked to the reservations side of the house -- not event/banquet services-- we were able to plan an entire weekend with the hotel as the focus, for our guests. Food selections were lovely and very well-priced for white glove service. Even the morning after brunch was excellent. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of food, service and staff professionalism. Even the hospitality suite and major quests' rooms received special attention from the hotel. Stephanie DeGrazia, our event manager, was patient, responsive and truly a pleasure to work with. One often hears about the chaos of wedding planning, With Stephanie's support, we had a calm, smoothly executed and incredibly successful weekend.

The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront put on a perfect wedding weekend! My husband and I wanted a place where all of our guests could spend the night so they didn't have to worry about driving. From our first planning meeting, our contact, Stephanie, made sure everything was perfect. The venue, food, and service were all wonderful. I would recommend to any bride looking for a gorgeous, all-inclusive venue overlooking the Baltimore Inner Harbor!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. That is all I can say. Christine Humphreys was instrumental in helping to plan and execute my dream day. She was one of the best parts of my wedding at the Marriott. She is sweet, professional, extremely hard working and soo talented!! I regret having a wedding planner as she made sure everything was done and done perfectly and my planner was totally useless (will leave that review on another page). The grounds and accommodations were so beautiful. My guests were awed by the hospitality of the staff and the professionalism of every Marriott employee. I am so happy to have had my wedding here. Additionally, Chef Santosh was AMAZING. He customized our menu to my family's background, learning and executing new recipes flawlessly. There is nothing this man cannot do. Thank you Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, you made my day more special than I could've ever dreamed!

PERFECT for an Indian wedding. We got married here on 3/30/13 and the venue was the best we could have asked for. I was so reluctant to get married in Baltimore (being from DC and all), but for an Indian Wedding with 450 guests you cannot beat it. It is so spacious, perfect for an outdoor baraat, and there is a fantastic Indian chef.

The staff (Samantha, and really everyone) are AMAZING and so pleasant to work with. They will exceed your expectations.

The only thing I would change is the carpet, but hey, not everything is perfect!

Baltimore Marriott Waterfront was a beautiful place for our guests to stay on our wedding weekend in March! Each room was lovely and the view was breathtaking. Picture opportunities were great before the wedding. The bar provided a nice place for guests to gather after getting back from the reception. We had the actual wedding elsewhere and were totally happy with our choice, but Baltimore Marriott Waterfront would have been a great wedding venue too! Stephanie DeGrazia, the sales manager, was patient, professional and accommodated multiple last minute requests without hesitation. We started out with a room block of 20, and ultimately ended up with 40 because the rates were so good. I would not hesitate to recommend them to future brides. It was a great experience!

The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel was amazing! They were great to work with both before the wedding and during the wedding weekend itself. Our party planner Alanna listened to make sure all of our needs were met, and was there throughout the entire wedding weekend to make sure we and our guests had everything we needed. The party room looked amazing, the service was amazing, and the food was amazing! The hotel suite that they gave us was incredible too. We were absolutely thrilled with everything the Waterfront Marriott did for us!

All of our requests were met without hesitation. The wedding coordinator, Alanna Mayer could not have been nicer, more professional and quick to accomodate our every need. We greatly appreciated that she stayed to the very end of the reception to help coordinate the "sparkler" send off my daughter wanted so much to end her special day. Alanna also was adept at dealing with some difficult family members so that we didn't have to. The food was terrific and everything went along very timely. The appetizers during the cocktail hour were wonderful, with such a great selection of different things. I never got to try the "signature weddding drink" but it looked yummy. And Alanna was great in helping us pull of a surprise flash mob dance for my daughter's wedding. Can't say enough!!!

The team at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel gave us all that we could have hoped on our wedding day. The Waterview Ballroom was great, and the food was amazing. Our wedding site coordinator facilitated our interaction with the hotel staff very well, and the entire process was exciting and as stress-free as possible.

When same-sex marriage became legal in Maryland, my partner and I wanted to celebrate our wedding in a venue that was accepting of our relationship. From the moment we contacted the Waterfront,we were both stunned by the enthusiasm and professionalism of the ENTIRE staff...from the catering sales executive (Katharine Moog), to the event planner (Amanda Barker), to the Waite staff and the bartender (Lisa B)! The day was made spectacularly elegant! The ballrooms were clean, spacious and stylish, the hor dourves plentiful, the dinner sophisticated and the wedding cake, exquisite! We highly recommend the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront to anyone who wants to host a trouble-free, high-class, event at a VERY reasonable price.

I loved having my wedding here! It's beautiful and in the perfect location for guests. From the beginning, they took my vision of our wedding and made it happen. Erin O'neilll, our event coordinator, was great! They catered to my every whim and desire. The food was delicious and the service immaculate. I'd do it there again without hesitation!

We chose the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront because of its location and convenience to local attractions. We wanted a place where out of towners could come a little early and explore the Inner Harbor. BMW offers various wedding packages and since we booked in the winter, we earned a substantial discount which allowed us flexibility to upgrade. Dealing with a wedding package that included a cake and various amenities really cut down on the hassle factor.
The venue itself is highly attractive. The highlights were our experience with our coordinator, Katharine Ronald, who did an exceptional job of providing reassurance. We immediately gained confidence in her that every single detail of our wedding ceremony and reception would be taken care of diligently. BMW is fortunate to have someone like her representing their events department. The other major highlight was the food. Lots of it and all very tasty.
The staff on the wedding day was on their game and we had a better time than expected. That is, little apprehension and all fun.
Yeah, we could have looked elsewhere and gotten a less expensive venue but many of these other places had strings attached (from our standpoint based on our preferences, not necessarily strings imposed by the vendors themselves).
We would certainly recommend this place to anyone considering getting married in Baltimore.

Sharon and the rest of the Marriott team were a pleasure to work with. the food and service were great. our out of town guests are still raving about the crab cakes.

The Marriott Waterfront exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Katharine, our coordinator, went above and beyond. The food was incredible. The accomodations (bridal suite as well as rooms for our guests) were superb. The entire event was perfect thnaks to their excellent staff.

The Baltimore Waterfront Marriot was a beautiful venue for our wedding. The event team there, headed by Katharine Ronald, went above and beyond to make our New Years Eve wedding the event of the decade. Our guests are still complimenting the food, the service, and the ballroom. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and the Bridal Suite was amazing! I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Katharine helped make planning the reception very easy and was there to make sure the entire event went off without a hitch. Everyone had a great time eating, drinking, and ringing in the new year with a harbor view!

My husband and I, along with our daughter and son in law, chose the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for their wedding because of the physical beauty of the property. But what we never realized was the importance of the staff in planning all of this. The hotel has 3 levels of wedding packages. We chose the highest level and were amazed at the inclusions for the price. Ashley Judy was our contact at the hotel. Never once did she not respond to an email or phone message immediately. She was on top of things from beginning to end in the most professional and efficient manner. When she had emergency surgery the week of the wedding, I STILL heard from her from the hospital!!!!! The hotel tended to all of our needs from the smallest detail to the largest. As a matter of fact, when we were shown the ballroom during the cocktail hour, a waiter followed us to get us drinks while we took in the beauty of the decorated ballroom (before the guests ). The food was amazing, the bridal suite was perfect for day of the wedding preparations and the rooms for our guests were Four Seasons quality. I cannot think of one thing that needed improvement. When we look back at that day, we smile knowing we would not change a thing and it was, for us, the perfect wedding!

There are not enough words to describe how great a job the Marriott did with our wedding. The event went exactly as we planned it. Our wedding coordinator - Jessica - did an absolutely fantastic job. She made sure that all of the details were planned for and ensured that the whole event went off without a hitch. All the hotel staff -- front desk, security, servers, valet, belldesk were ALL unbelieveable and issued the top level service. The waitstaff for the reception was extremely professional and the food was awesome! All of our guests are still talking about how great the service and the food was. One of the best parts of the whole experience was the suite that came as a part of the package. The view of Baltimore City was absolutely breathtaking. During the wedding, the hotel staff decorated the room with rose petals and provided cookies and champagne. It was a great surprise to end our perfect evening.

Sandy Palacorolla was our event manager for the BMW hotel, and she was very attentive to our needs throughout the planning process. The BMW hotel was simply gorgeous, and our room was even more stunning (Waterview Ballroom) that we thought it would be. The food was outstanding, the pastry chef made an amazing cake, and every member of the staff for our event was of the utmost professionalism. Our package included a bridal suite the night of the wedding, and it was larger than our apartment.

The cost for our reception was certainly significant, but you get what you pay for, and we feel that we received excellent value for our money. I would recommend BMW hotel to anyone--we got a night we'll never forget!

The experience could not have been better. This is a full service hotel with a very professional, knowledgeable and supportive staff who bent over backwards to make sure that the night of our wedding was special. They have their own event planners who ensured that the coordination of vendors and other minutiae was taken care of so that there was nothing for us to worry about. The food was AMAZING. If I had to do it over again, 10 times out of 10, I would choose this venue and I am not easy to impress.

I have been to and had many friend who got married so when I was planning my wedding I was so scared of what was to come. The people at the Marriott helped in every way possible. There were no hidden costs like many vendors and they were helpful with ideas. the event coordinator ended up feeling like a part of tmy wedding party.

I cannot say enough good things about everyone at the Marriott. They were a breeze to work with, my coordinator was extremely helpful, and all my guests were impressed. My only complaint was the length of time that it took to serve dinner: we entered the ballroom around 5:30 and entrees were still being brought out at close to 7. We ended up extending the bar and band for an extra hour because we had such little time for dancing by the time dinner was served. A number of guests who needed to leave earlier (parents with kids, the priest, etc.) had already left by the time the cake was served. Otherwise though, they were great!

So overwhelmingly pleased with our experience with Baltimore Marriott Waterfront as the venue for our daughter's wedding reception. The food and service are excellent. It was a worry free experience as they handled everything. The wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. Everything was perfect! The package included a suite for the Bride & Groom.

The BMW did a fantastic job hosting our wedding for 245 and brunch the following morning for about 100. They are not cheap to be sure, but they are well worth the cost. This is a top quality, elite venue that helped make a special day even more special. I'm especially grateful to Katharine Ronald, our event manager. She was relentless, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Whatever I wanted she made happen. We worried e hotel would be too anonymous a location to feel intimate and unique. We were wrong. Thanks to Katharine and her team, it was a perfect event.

This was such a beautiful venue, with top notch service and attention to detail that everyone was raving about! I was a little skeptical at first, since while both the sales management team and the event management team were wonderful, the transition from one to the next seemed a little disjointed. However, we quickly learned that we had nothing to worry about. Angie Hilz took PHENOMENAL care of us as an event manager at the venue, she was so flexible and accommodating, and we were treated like VIPs. We loved our wedding day from start to finish, and got so many compliments on not only how beautiful everything was, but what amazing service our guests received. For the price, it was worth it- and we did not receive any hidden, unknown, or surprise charges at the end (in fact, it was less than expected!)

From the day we first looked at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel to our wedding day, we had the BEST experience! We looked at three hotels in the Baltimore Inner Harbor and there was no comparison; the Marriott Waterfront was, hands down, the most beautiful of the venues and it seemed like we would get the most for our money there.

We were assigned Christine as our event coordinator and she was a dream to work with! All questions were answered quickly and with great detail (and I asked a lot of questions!). She went above and beyond to make sure all our requests were fulfilled, including importing beers from New York, which is where my husband and I live. She was involved in all aspects of our wedding, from the tasting to every last detail on the day of. I could not imagine a better person to work with!

The hotel itself was a beautiful place to have the ceremony and reception, and the perfect place to have our guests stay. Almost all of our guests received harbor view rooms, and were very impressed at the view and amenities. The bridal suite is beyond words. It provided stunning views and more than enough space for my bridesmaids, moms, and grandmas to get ready!

The food at the cocktail hour and reception was absolutely delicious and the service was beyond our expectations.

Unfortunately, after the wedding, we were billed extra for things that were not agreed upon in our contract. They billed us for more people than we had attend brunch, and for lighting that was never approved. After many words back and forth, the issue was resolved. Even with this situation, I would not hesitate to recommend the Marriott Waterfront to anyone!

We had an awesome experience for our Indian wedding at the Baltimore Marriott waterfront. They were really attentive to our needs for the whole four day affair. Food was great, views spectacular.

We booked the Marriott for our 400 person wedding and experienced first class service from the moment we signed the contract until weeks after the wedding ended. Samantha Gardner was our Marriott coordinator that provided the service from beginning to end. She has followed up with us to make sure everything was in order. Also, the property is amazing and all of our guests enjoyed the hotel and the stay there. The service every staff member provided was great. The hotel is very clean, well kept, and conveniently located. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel for staying in the downtown area or having any sort of event. We used the main chef and pastry chef and they were both great. They worked hard to help us design our lunch menu and cake. I have stayed here twice before the wedding and every room I have stayed in has been great. This hotel should be the benchmark for all hotels in service.

Our reception at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront was beautiful and everything we wanted. There were some conflict issues with another group's event on the same day that would have caused distraction from our wedding, but the personnel at the Marriott Waterfront handled things professionally and promptly and was able to work things out. Our day was all we dreamed of. A big THANK YOU to Katharine Ronald, the Event Coordinator at the Marriott. You did an amazing job and we sincerely thank you for it.

The staff at the hotel is very accommodating. They are very willing to work with special requests, we had a photo booth set up in the lobby area. There were a few hiccups (to be expected) during the day, overall they did an excellent job at responding to and correcting issues. They especially made an effort the day of and during the reception to check if the groom and I needed anything. The food was excellent, the room we used (Waterview ballroom) is very nice, located on a separate level from the main ballrooms. Its in an awesome location in the Inner Harbor, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and things to do within walking distance. Overall a truly wonderful experience.

The Marriott at the Waterfront was the getting ready location for our wedding. After speaking with several unhelpful representatives, we were able to work with Fernando- he is fantastic. We had spoken to Fernando for months in trying to reserve different kinds of room the night before; he was professional, understanding, and genuine with the services he provided. He offered the best rates and even other suggestions to help us in our budgeting for the number of rooms we needed and for their purposes. The rooms were pristine with the amazing water view and accommodating to our needs in preparations and even storing our luggage for after the reception. We would definitely recommend using this particular hotel service if you're in the Baltimore area (if you have Marriott rewards card/Military/Government rate all the better)

This hotel was more than accomodating when it came to my food allergies. However, I think that they made everything go very smooth, but I did pay a pretty penny for that perfection.

We had our East Indian wedding reception at this venue. The event was for 366 guest, several of whom were out of town. Two issues we had the following -

1. In order to ensure that our guest all had rooms, we received the vacant rooms in our name. We transferred the rooms over to our guests once they confirmed they were attending. We conveyed the changed to the venue several times and even received xcel sheet showing the changes. When my wife Boss and Vice President who flew in from Spain for the wedding tired to check in. He did not have a room in his name. I had to leave the rehearsal dinner and come over the the Marriott to correct the problem. It turned out the rooms were still in my name and were never transferred over despite Xcel sheets showing the contrary.

2. The second incident occurred after we received our bill. At the time of booking, we discussed that all service fees would be part of our contract price. We added additional linens and changed the chairs at a later date. At the time of the booking, there was no discussion of additional service fees. These were present on final bill and when addressed with the management. No adjustments were made.

For the price we paid these incidents should not have occurred. Besides this, the staff is very prompt with follow up, the venue and location is beautiful. Just make sure you get everything in writing before.

The venue was beautiful and I was very pleased with the way my wedding stylist had decorated the ballroom. The staff was kind and attentive.

I must say that I was sadly very disappointed in the services that we received for my wedding. As loyal Marriott customers, we had chosen this venue with the belief that they would be reliable for holding a high quality event. They seemed very well organized and I felt very confident that they would help to deliver the wedding of my dreams. However, we had multiple issues occur throughout the planning process and the night of the event.1.At the tasting, we had gone through and selected a variety of details such as what color chairs we wanted, what shape we wanted the chargers, how to fold the napkins, etc. However, a week or two before the wedding, I had called our planner to verify all of our choices, and she acted like she knew nothing of the decisions we had made during the tasting (which she had assured me during the event that she had written down). What was the point of the tasting if they weren't going to remember what decisions we had made? 2. Additionally, we were supposed to arrive on Friday at the hotel and had requested an early check in so that we could get ready for the other events that we had scheduled for that evening. We were told by our planner that it may not be possible and because of the high volume of people staying at the hotel.Then we found out that SEVERAL of our guests had been granted an early check in time and were there ahead of us, the people spending thousands of dollars in their venue who should have been there first to welcome their guests. 3. We had opted to do hotel gift boxes. The hotel would not hand them out to people as they checked in but said they would deliver them for us. They had a list of our guests, and yet still handed the boxes out to another wedding that was staying in the hotel. 4. We paid $10 extra for one of our meal options, but our guests were not given what we had discussed and agreed upon. The food was great and the ballrooms beautiful, but the mistakes were frustrating given the time we spent planning.

I was very disappointed with the Baltimore Marriot Waterfront. The Marriott is a very large hotel, and there are many weddings that occur on the same day there, which I understood when I booked this venue. My wedding planner specifically promised me, however, that there would be no overlapping in wedding times. However, during my cocktail hour, another bride, bridal party, and the other weddings guests were walking through my cocktail hour. Imagine just saying your vows and walking out to greet your guests to find people from another wedding walking through and eating your food and ordering drinks from your bar. When I brought this to the attention of the wedding planner, she told me that this was not true because she did not see it. It is pretty embarrassing to have your guests tell the bridesmaids from another wedding to stop eating our wedding's food. Everyone wants their wedding to be special and unique, and this made my experience at the Marriott a rather unfortunate one. When I told the Marriott about this situation, their response was, "We will keep it in mind for next time". Future events at the Marriott were not my concern, and this did nothing to mend my situation.

Also, there were specific things that were part of my wedding package that were not provided during my reception, such as the GOBO lighting with our names on it. If I am paying for a package, I expect to receive everything I pay for. This was not the case, and I was not reimbursed for this cost. I would not recommend the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront as a wedding venue.

I wanted to share my honest opinion for this venue because they made my wedding planning so un-necessarily stressful. The only reason I continued working with this venue is because I liked the location and it was too late for me to change my location and date of my wedding. I had to complain to Marriott Corporate twice on them because they were not transparent with their charges.

1) I love the venue location, however it is so popular with weddings and events, that you just feel like another number.
2) This particular Marriott will nickel and dime you - be careful about getting everything in writing because there were discrepancies from what the sales department said vs our event manager:
Examples- They charge an hourly fee for your vendors to use the freight elevator for your event!
They don't have passes for parking. They try to force you to use their chef (who we did not like)
Also we were told that our times for the day were flexible, but then on the final contract, they changed the times and put another conference in the morning in the same hall, so we were forced to change our timeline.

They take days to get back to you on questions and they had mistakes on the final bill.

I liked my event planner, but she is limited by her boss. Also, there were specific details that were not executed - we didn't get one of the parking passes for our family that we were contracted to get.

Also, the loud, colorful carpets in the halls are an eye sore and clashed with my decor.

I would NOT recommend this location if you want an easy and intimate planning experience.

DO NOT book your wedding hotel block here. A week before our wedding we got a call that they had overbooked the hotel and needed to move our entire wedding block to a different hotel. There was no negotiating with Marriott; they said either we move now or when our guests come to check in they will be turned away. Moving all of the reservations in our wedding block was a huge headache because they messed up some of the reservations (only booked one night instead of two nights, needed two beds but reserved one king, etc.). That whole next week no one at the Marriott returned any of our calls about fixing the incorrect reservations. We also had to move our wedding shuttle location since it was originally going to pick up guests at Marriott. Lots of stress.
