  Ballad is amazing!

  Ballad is on it when it comes to photography! I could not have been happier with my photos! She killed it! She’s so sweet and caring and really wants to help capture your special day. She aims to get every possible shot she can and she does it with a smile! I wouldn’t hire anyone else.

  WE LOVE BALLAD!! From the very earliest stages of our wedding planning, all the way through to months later, Ballad has been an amazing person to work with, and to get to know.
  
  She first worked for us for our engagement photos. She was a complete trooper, travelling several hours to our location, spending the night, and getting up waaaaayy to early to shoot us in morning light. She was extremely accommodating, and so cheerful. And the resulting photographs were phenomenal!
  
  A few months later at our wedding, she was fantastic yet again. Such a calming and joyful presence -- she really put us at ease. Courtney, her assistant, was great as well. The whole day she was there to get the shots that she needed, but so flexible to work with us and make changes on the fly.
  
  After the wedding, Ballad turned the photos around quickly, and always with something positive to say in her emails. At times, we dragged our feet to provide feedback or to reply to her messages, but if she ever got frustrated, she never gave any indication. We now have all of the final products, and couldn't be more thrilled with how it all turned out.

  Ballad is an amazing photographer. She is professional, efficient, and friendly. She always responded to our emails within 24 hours. Her questionnaire was detail-oriented and assisted us to format general ideas of timeline and programs. She was very flexible at the wedding. We wanted to have group photos in two different places and made requests at the wedding day. She immediately agreed and provided excellent cooperation. I'd highly recommend her service.

  I truly don't know where to begin, as words cannot do justice. Ballad Hall was hands down the highlight of our wedding planning process and day of shenanigans. We knew the importance of finding a wonderful photographer and cannot thank her enough for her truly amazing work. After the recommendation of a friend who had worked with Ballad in the past, we booked our engagement session and instantly knew this was our photographer. She is such a fun, light-hearted and truly inspiring person to work with. I have never been fond of having my picture taken, but we had such a blast and could not be more pleased with our engagement photos!!
  
  Ballad was there every step of the way and helped tremendously in determining and laying out our timeline for the big day. Our wedding location was a bit of drive for her, and a location she was unfamiliar with. Ballad and her second shooter showed up the evening before to survey the venue and scope it out for the following day. When the time finally came, we were off to a rather chaotic start but Ballad never blinked an eye and was able to capture all of the important moments. Many friends and relatives commented on how wonderful she was to work with as well! We were so eager to see the photos and were pleasantly surprised by the quick turnaround. Our wedding gallery is perfect! We have so many wonderful pictures that we will cherish for years to come. The hardest part is narrowing down our top choices to fit them into wedding albums and selecting a few for enlarged prints.
  
  Again, we cannot thank Ballad enough. We were truly blessed to have found her and cannot wait to work with her again in the future!!

  Ballad was amazing to work with and her photos were gorgeous! We used her for our engagement and wedding photos and they all turned out great. She makes you feel really comfortable which really shows in the pictures. She captured the feeling of our wedding and all of the special moments.   Ballad is awesome! We were referred by a friend and since then at least two more friends who are getting married will also work with her. That speaks for itself, she is great to work with!
  
  We had two engagement sessions and our wedding day, and Ballad was always on time, easy to work with, and so nice to my wife and I.
  
  Her pictures all turned out amazing and she's so easy going the whole time, she let the bridal parties mess around and kept picture taking from being a chore. She even coaxed a horse into cooperating for a few pictures.
  
  If she's available, I absolutely recommend hiring her.

Through the process of wedding planning I contacted Ballad several times to discuss the wedding timeline and always asked her a million questions and every time she was polite and SO helpful!!! On the day of the wedding I was a little stressed but Ballad and her crew came in and we had a ton of fun taking pictures.   Ballad is a great photographer and a wonderful person. My husband and I aren't exactly fond of being in pictures, but Ballad made us feel so comfortable every step of the way. She was so helpful with the planning (we got married in San Luis Obispo, but weren't from around there, so we had lots of questions), every time I needed a suggestion she was happy to help. We even used the same caterer she used for her wedding! I can't say enough about Ballad and Megan (her second shooter). We love the pictures and the people who look them :)

  Ballad is amazing!!! She definitely makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera! She has the most creative ideas and her work is breathtaking!! Ballad shot our engagement photos, budoir photos, and our wedding! Our pictures look like they belong in a bridal magazine. They're amazing!   We couldn't have been happier with our wedding photos! Not only were the photos amazing, Ballad was wonderful to work with. We weren't able to take engagement photos, so I was a little nervous about posing in front of the camera, but Ballad made us feel very comfortable and gave us great directions on posing to get some great shots.   Having Ballad as my photographer for my wedding was such a blessing! She captured everything I wanted and more! She made my pictures from my special day look like the ones I dreamed about and seen in magazines. She was more than a photographer, she was a friend and always made me feel special as a bride. Her photos were very flattering, and as a bride you want to look as beautiful in your pictures as you felt on the big day! She made great recommendations for wedding and it is very obvious she knows weddings inside and out, which is a huge help! She was very punctual & professional with every detail and that was a big stress relief. I highly recommend her to anyone that is engaged or hosting an event!!!

  Ballad was amazing. My husband and I were not super comfortable with the idea of having a photographer because we felt a bit camera shy and we really were not sure we would need a professional photographer. My Mom was really insistent though, so I started to look around online. I came across Ballad's information on Craigslist and not only was her price range EXACTLY what we needed, but the photos on her site were beautiful. She responded to my inquiry super fast, and was so kind--I felt right away like she was an old friend! She was very flexible and accommodating with meeting up with us, despite the fact we live over 4 hours away from each other! She offered to us an Engagement photo shoot which was exactly what we needed to find which smiles work and which don't. = ) On the "Big Day" she was patient as we were running a little late (hard to fight the nerves when you have make up to put on and your hair to curl), and the whole day she interacted amazingly with my family and friends, and with us! Ballad and her assistant Shelby helped to catch the most amazing moments and both my husband and I (and our family and friends) will cherish these memories forever. Ballad was professional, SUPER talented and so fun to be around; we have already saved her information so that she can shoot our next big life event. ; )

  Ballad is pretty much the best photographer ever. If I could afford it, I would have her follow me around and photograph my life and it would be beautiful. She was our photographer for our wedding and it was such a wonderful day on the coast, with a perfect rain storm. She arrived early to meet with me to make sure we got some pictures together before the ceremony and I expressed my concern with the rain and that they were moving the ceremony inside, but I wanted to get married in the rain, she said LETS DO IT! She even called around to different businesses looking for clear umbrellas!! She was so incredibly supportive and really calmed me down, before the ceremony. She knows what to do and what to say to an incredibly stressed out bride. After the ceremony we met at a beach to take pictures in the rain storm, our umbrellas were turned inside out, bent, and broken in the incredible wind and rain, and she just kept shooting. I think she even fell down in the sand and kept taking pictures! We then, of course, topping off our *perfect* day locked our keys in the car in the pouring rain, she drove us back to our home so we could get a cell phone and AAA card... what a day!
  
  Although our wedding day wasn't exactly perfect, and it didnt go as planned, it was the best day of my life, and Ballad was definitely a part of it. We have beautiful pictures, that are absolutely breathtaking. I wouldnt change a single thing.

  You won't be disappointed. Ballad is a wonderful person, easy to talk to and full of ideas. She's a gem. She's ontime, dilligent and puts in hard work to get you the photos. She met me a few days before in person for our destination wedding at the beach. She photographed our day and we did a trash the dress shoot two days later. She even helped me find a beautiful white dress separate from my wedding dress to wear into the ocean. She edited well, I asked her if we could print some books and she was totally supportive and willing to help and put it together and send out to us. She's a dream come true when it comes to choosing a photograher.

  Ballad was the photographer for my special day. She was AMAZING! she was right on time. She knows what she is doing and the pictures felt effortless for me yet they came out beautiful! I recommend everyone use her for their special day! Thanks to Ballad I will get to look back 10,20+ years and remember how beautiful it was!

  Ballad is a very friendly lady, with a great sense of style and sharp eye. I was drawn to her photography with its rich colors and dynamic poses. She worked with us to get a package deal that was in our budget and provided services and products that we wanted. Our engagement shoot was fun and an adventure, and she loved what we would do naturally together, encouraging silliness over all posing. She was very responsive when we first started out, but the later it got in to the things the less we heard from her. Only some questions would come back answered which was frustrating (she's a busy family lady, we get it). The wedding was fantastic, and she and her partner captured the best moments of our family and had unique ideas. They were flexible when we wanted to do a separate outing in the middle. However, once it was over, it was like she dropped off the face of the planet. It was tough to get answers about albums and other services after the fact. The kicker was after all the communication back and forth, and double and triple checking, our family albums (which were supposed to be xmas gifts) came in *wrong*. It was ratified in the end, but was very stressful and challenging to maintain patience after everything. Overall I would still recommend her if you have a flexible schedule and are extra careful about how you communicate. She's a great photographer and person, whose services are value priced.
