The moment we walked into Bakery 105 we knew it was the perfect spot! The venue is absolutely stunning and it was everything we dreamed of and more on our wedding day. The ability to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location made everything seamless. The Cottage on Orange was also the perfect spot for me to get ready with my mom and girlfriends.
Working with Katie, Mira, and the entire Bakery 105 & 128 South Team was incredible. They were professional, organized, thoughtful, and kind through every step of the process. The entire staff on the day of our wedding were amazing. They were friendly, helpful, and so much fun to work with. Our guests continue to give us compliments on the venue, staff, food, drinks, and overall service. It was the perfect day! We highly recommend this incredible team and venue.Bakery 105's reply:

Bakery 105 was truly the perfect venue for our 100 person wedding. The customer service was so unbelievably excellent from start to finish. They are expert level at hosting wonderful weddings and I am so glad mine is now on the list! Could not recommend more.Bakery 105's reply:

We had the absolute best experience working with Bakery 105 for our May 8, 2026 wedding! From the first tour to the day of, the team was so lovely, answering every question with a quick response and so much kindness. They accommodated any request we had to make our day perfect! On top of that, Bakery 105 is located in the best location in downtown Wilmington, convenient to hotels, Airbnbs, restaurants, and bars, making it easy for guests traveling from out of town. From day one of touring the venue to the day of the wedding, our experience was absolutely exceptional and I would do it all over again! The venue itself is stunning and maintained beautifully. From the brick to the greenery, everything about the venue created the perfect atmosphere and backdrop for our wedding.
What made everything truly special and unforgettable, were the staff. They were very friendly, professional, and highly communicative. Every interaction (and we had many) was filled with laughter and joy. They genuinely cared and were invested in making our day perfect, and it was.
I could not recommend this venue enough. They exceeded every expectation I ever had and they went above and beyond for us. I would relive it many times over, exactly the same way. The 128 South team was so fun to work with! Katie and Mira brought so much energy each time we got to meet with them and helped make our wedding such an amazing time for us and our guests. The service was top notch and the venue is so beautiful. Also, we have to rave about how tasty the food was, so many guests shared that it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had after the fact. Everything went so smoothly on the wedding day. 1. The entire staff was knowledgable, kind, and supportive. They had fantastic communication and organization throughout the process and went above and beyond to meet our needs for our big day. They were helpful beyond the bounds of being a a venue/caterer for us and were my go to for any other wedding questions I had when it came to planning (I was all but clueless to the process so it was ALOT of questions). They were always ready to help and never shamed me for my lack of knowledge or need for flexibility while I was trying to navigate wedding planning in the midst of getting my doctorate.
While all humans were so helpful, I have to call out Lauren who was a fantastic day of coordinator and also went above and beyond. I cannot sing their praises enough.
2. The food. Fantastic. The dishes we picked were just as delicious day of (if not more so) as they were when we did our tasting, its amazing the quality they were able to produce let alone considering the quantity of plates needed for a wedding. Lets not skip over the fact that I actually got to eat not only my meal but ALSO the passed Hors D'oeuvres on our wedding day (props again to Lauren and the bakery staff.)
3. Both locations are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for events, cant beat the proximity to the riverwalk and all the other fun things downtown. My photographer was a huge fan of the lighting in the venue as well.

Katie and the Bakery 105 team went above and beyond in helping with every step of wedding planning! The whole staff is amazing! We asked for help with making decisions regarding the flow, decor, entertainment etc and they had great wisdom to share from their years of experience! Deciding to have our wedding at Bakery 105 was the best decision! Throughout the entire process their staff could not have been more communicative and professional. They put me at ease with every decision that we made because I was confident that it would be taken care of. Day of, their bartenders and waiters were incredibly attentive (severely guests went out of their way to point out how great they were!). Our experience at Bakery 105 for our wedding was perfect. From the moment we chose this venue, we knew we had made the perfect decision.
Firstly, the space is beautiful. From the exposed brick walls to the green courtyard, every corner of the venue was stunning, and it provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding celebrations.
Next, the coordination between Bakery 105 and our wedding planner was seamless. Their team worked hand-in-hand with our planner to ensure that every detail of our special day was executed flawlessly. Their professionalism and willingness to collaborate made the planning process incredibly smooth and stress-free.
In terms of value, Bakery 105 exceeded our expectations. Not only were their prices competitive, but the quality of service and amenities included far surpassed what we could have imagined. We felt that every dollar spent was worth it, and then some.
One of the standout features of Bakery 105 is its ideal location. Situated close to The Cottage Bridal Suite and local bed and breakfasts, it was incredibly convenient for both us and our guests. The proximity to these accommodations added an extra layer of convenience and comfort to our wedding weekend.
The only hiccup we encountered was a minor one - my husband's name was misspelled on the venue welcome sign. However, this small oversight did not detract from the overall experience, and the team at Bakery 105 was quick to rectify the error.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our special day. Bakery 105 exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are grateful to their team for helping to make our wedding dreams a reality.Bakery 105's reply:

Truly the perfect wedding venue
Having our wedding at Bakery 105 was the best decision we have made regarding our wedding. As an out of town bride, I was anxious about wedding planning but the staff at Info South/Bakery 105 made the day absolutely perfect. The staff were so knowledgeable and also recommended a ton of truly amazing vendors which made planning an out of town wedding a whole lot easier. They were so communicative and kind and truly brought our vision for our wedding day to life. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect and it’s because of the “Katies”. So many of guests came up to us at the wedding and said it was the most organized wedding they have been to and it’s all because of the staff at Bakery 105. The venue is so naturally pretty and in the most convenient location in downtown Wilmington. There are a ton of hotels and rentals near by. The food and service with 128 South Catering was amazing and there were almost too many options. I cannot say enough great things about Bakery 105, and I am so grateful to them for making our wedding day, our favorite day.Bakery 105's reply:

Bakery 105 - YES, DO IT!!
Choosing to host our wedding ceremony and reception at Bakery 105 was truly the best decision we could have made in our wedding planning process (aside from choosing to work with Belle Amè Events - can’t recommend Jennifer and her team enough).
The staff at Bakery was an absolute pleasure to work with during the months leading up to our big day. While wedding planning can be super stressful, the Bakery team made all of our decisions so easy. We especially appreciated their help in reminding us of deadlines and payments coming due. Katie and Jordan were our main points of contact throughout the planning process. They handled every email and phone call with the upmost professionalism and kindness. They were always willing to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. We invited 150 guests, but only had around 120 in attendance. This truly felt like the perfect size for the venue, with plenty of space for tables, dancing, and mingling in between.
We chose 128 South for our catering (affiliated with Bakery 105) and it was seriously one of the best meals we’ve ever had (check out our review on their page for more details on the food). If you’re considering Bakery 105 for your event, let this be your sign!!! This team and this space helped to create the best day of our entire lives! 💗Bakery 105's reply:

The absolute best decision we made was choosing Bakery 105 for our venue and Katie for our day of coordinator. The entire team at Bakery/128 South was so great to work with from day one. They were always extremely responsive, helpful and treated you like you were the most important bride even when they were working with numerous others. First, the venue is gorgeous and allows you to have inside and outside options. The brick inside and greenery outside provide beautiful canvases for your special day. We chose 128 South for catering and the food was amazing. We received so many compliments on our food so we know we made the right decision. Last but certainly not least, is Katie. What can I say other than she is amazing!! She was so much more than a day of coordinator. I planned my own wedding and could not have done it without her help. She assisted me with everything for over a year and never made me feel like I was a bother. On the day of, she was superwoman and ensured everything appeared flawless. Somehow, she managed to keep us on schedule and always appeared out of nowhere to put a drink in my hand! I truly can’t say enough good things about her and the entire team. Bakery 105 made our wedding day more perfect than we could have imagined. I highly recommend the Wedding Day Experience package. It is super inclusive and comes with so many thing built in that it makes planning way easier. Katie at Bakery 105 was so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. The things you should know if you're considering Bakery 105 as your venue are:
1) The venue (outside and inside) and location could not be more beautiful. There are so many hotels and restaurants in just a 5 minute walk from the venue. I think the location enhanced our guests' experience for the whole wedding weekend so much, rather than having a venue a 30+ minute drive from anything in the middle of nowhere.
2) The food is amazing. Food was one of the most important things to us. We had so many guests compliment the food and ask for recipes for weeks after.
3) The service could not be better. We had so many guests tell us how attentive the waitstaff were. They kept appetizers, drinks, wine, and water coming quickly the whole night. Katie made sure me and my husband had everything we needed the whole night.
4) Everyone at Bakery 105, especially Katie, are so easy and nice to work with. Everything is transparent and they are always available by phone or email.Bakery 105's reply:

Look no further- this is THE venue and team!
If I could give Bakery 105 a million stars I would, they were AMAZING beginning to end! Our day was handled with such care, making sure every little detail was exactly how we imagined. The absolute magic this team puts on will blow you and your guests away, so look no further! They really are the experts here in Wilmington, and the setting is perfect for couples looking for a fun and beautiful day (that turns into an easy and walkable night out!) Davis was our DOC, and holy MOLY was he incredible! Our families could not stop raving about his energy and attention towards them and any needs. Drinks were kept full, everything ran on-time, and if there were any fires to put out my husband and I never had a clue! He’s an absolute rockstar! My wife and I got married at Bakery 105 on November 5th 2023 and it was one of the best days of our lives! We absolutely fell in love with the venue when we came to tour last year. The wall of greenery on the outside is a very quick eyecatcher, but there is nothing about this venue that could disappoint. We loved being able to share our day with our loved ones in such a beautiful space. Lauren, our day of coordinator, hit it out of the park and we absolutely adore her. She was very organized, very thoughtful, and kept us at the forefront of her priorities every time. Katie helped to arrange our initial meeting and was kind, helpful, and informative, especially since we were planning everything on our own. Bakery 105 was the perfect spot for our cottage core, Ghibli-esque wedding. The venue was bright, beautiful, and nothing short of magical. The whole team answered any questions we had with kind, thoughtful responses. We did our bar and coordinator through the venue and boy was it just EASY. Lauren, our coordinator, and Davis who also helps coordinate were such wonderful, passionate people. Lauren made sure we were perfectly set up, able to mingle but also EAT. Overall an amazing, perfect team. -

Bakery 105 as a venue for wedding ceremony and reception after was perfect! They are comparable to other places for pricing and have a beautiful outside and inside area with handicapped entrance. Go for a tour. The brick wall and greenery walls won me. And the office staff Katie and Jordan etc always answer your emails and seem genuinely excited to help! Used them for catering and loved that they also have tables and chairs (saves money). And they work so well with all the vendors it went very smoothly. Rent the cottage on orange street to get ready at its so perfect. Great spot for pictures posed and candid. Just can’t say enough good things. The wedding was perfect thank you guys. -

As soon as my husband and I stepped inside Bakery 105, I knew that it was the place we wanted to be married in! It had everything we imagined and went with the vibe of our wedding perfectly. The space is so beautiful on it's own, so you can really dress it up as much or as little as you want and it will always be stunning. Another plus of the space is that it was very accessible friendly, which was important as some of our guests had limited mobility. The staff were so great with answering our questions and letting us see the space more than once (once with my husband and I and another time with my mother) before we made our final decision. We opted to have the Cottage as a Bridal Suite and Katie as our coordinator and there were no regrets AT ALL! The Cottage was perfect to get ready in with my girls as we could all hang out and bond before the day and we did not have to worry about moving from one location to the next. Also we could leave our stuff there throughout the night so that was one less stress we had to worry about of "where should it go?" Katie was a literal ROCKSTAR! I am so glad and fortunate that we had her to help us with our coordination and she took care of us every step of the way. She gave advice when we asked, was flexible, always in a fun mood, but still serious and got the job done. She didn't just go through the motions, she connected with not just us, the bride & groom, but our parents and our wedding party. But most of al, she was reliable. I had no worries going into our wedding weekend and she is to thank for that! I could go on and on about Bakery 105 and why we couldn't imagine be married anywhere else. If we could do it all over again, we would still pick Bakery 105 as our wedding venue! -

Or daughter was engaged in October of 2021. Anticipating a difficult decision for a Fall wedding in 2022, we scheduled visits to several venues. Our first stop was Bakery 105. On that Saturday morning, the staff was busily setting up for a wedding and we fell in love with the setting. Emma made the decision on the spot and our year of planning began! The Bakery 105 staff provided a list of preferred vendors and helped us know what to do first. Bakery 105’s Davis Dunbar was our wedding coordinator. Davis was kind, knowledgeable, and always upbeat and supportive. No question was too small and no obstacle was too big! Davis met with us three times throughout the year and kept in close contact by phone, email and text. The Bakery 105 staff, Davis, Katie and Jordan, handled our details with meticulous precision and accuracy. They were always available to answer our questions and quickly returned our frantic phone calls. Emma and Josh were married at Bakery 105 in Wilmington NC in November 2022. Not only was the setting beautiful, the food was fabulous and the staff at Bakery 105 was amazing. We used the onsite caterers, 128 South Events. Our guests raved about the appetizers, the entrees and the impeccable service. For our event, we booked The Cottage and it was the perfect location for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready for the wedding. 128 South catered a light “Bubbles and Bites” brunch while the girls had hair and makeup done and dressed. The wedding ceremony was held in the Bakery 105 courtyard, followed by a cocktail hour and then we went inside for dinner and dancing. The courtyard was beautifully arranged and under Davis Dunbar’s direction, the wedding ceremony was simply perfect. The transition to the cocktail hour, with passed and stationed appetizers and bar, was seamless. Throughout dinner and the reception the wait staff and bartenders were helpful, efficient and cheerful! We cannot say enough about the service. Nobody sat waiting for anything the whole night. Even Davis was available throughout the evening, helping our guests with anything they needed. There were no long lines as we had the plated meal – farm to table salad, choice of shrimp penne or slow roasted chicken. The bar staff had no one in line all night, they were so quick. The appetizers were to die for. We had the empanadas, crostini, Nashville chicken sliders, crabcakes, and ham biscuits. Our guests are still raving about all of them, but especially the empanadas and crabcakes! All in all, the event was perfect. We are writing this review two weeks to the day after Emma and Josh were married at Bakery 105 in front of friends and family. We miss the staff and talking to Davis about wedding planning! We sit here hoping our paths cross again with them and honestly all of the vendors we had involved in our event. Our friends and family are still raving about the beauty of the day, how everything flowed, the food which was amazing and how it was the “best party they had ever been to”. I couldn't say more about how wonderful the entire experience was with the whole team at Bakery 105. They are top notch. The venue is stunning with the perfect set up to be able to move in and out doors. It is such a dreamy space with the exposed brick interior and the ivy covered exterior. We were partnered with Katie as our day of event coordinator - and she is an angel on earth. She helped navigate all the wedding waters and made it so easy effortless to pull off such a beautiful night. If I could redo the night over and over I wouldn't change a thing. Another bonus- we were just a two minute walk from the river! We had our ceremony inside and were able to comfortably fit 80 guests. The dance floor also had plenty of room for dancing! The courtyard is beautiful as well, and it was the perfect atmosphere for our guests during cocktail hour while they flipped the room inside for dinner! Not to mention, they offer catering (128 South Catering) which we happily used for our big day, and the food was DELICIOUS! I also used "The Cottage" right across the street from the venue for our bridal suite, and my bridesmaids and I loved it!! Amazing service and wonderful people to work with!! Thank you for making our day perfect (and easy on our end)- we couldn't be happier! :) P.S. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Picking a wedding venue can be such a scary thing to decide on, but the level of professional, attention to detail, and support from Bakery is unmatched. The staff was friendly, polite, and fast! Our guests never had a long wait at the bar and are still RAVING about the food. One of the best surprises is how amazing the food was!!! We opted for a duo plate with a beef tenderloin and a mahi mahi - both cooked to perfection! We did the premium open bar package, which to our surprise had craft beer, seltzers, and they included tequila (not typically on the package) as it’s the Brides drink of choice.
One thing I loved about the venue is they give you a Preferred venders list. This helped me narrow down my search, knowing they were vetted by the venue. And I will say every single vendor we chose to work with from the list did a fantastic job!!! You can tell the wedding community in Wilmington love to also work at Bakery 105 when we’d speak to them! The vendors on the list know the venue and can help you envision the day!
We worked very closely with Katie Swan (the BEST day of coordinator as well) through out the process. She always was quick to respond and super helpful with every random question. On the day of the wedding I wouldn’t have survived without her, she listened, took care of any issue that arises (which was minimal - and I didn’t know about it until after the wedding), and made sure my husband and I always had what we needed (for us that was a drink in our hand). She made this entire process so much easier on me and I never felt like a bother with my millions of random questions.
A special shout-out to Davis for helping so much with my 5 and 3 year olds in the wedding party! I mean the kids were demanding ketchup (they had bbq) and he made sure they were both happy (which was a huge HUGE help to my sister)
The team at Bakery 105 and Katie are some of the best and I wouldn’t want my wedding anywhere else!!!! -

Absolutely beautiful indoor/outdoor venue with amazing staff that are friendly and helpful. Made the whole event planning seamless. We had almost 150 guests for an end of school year banquet and everyone loved the venue. Large enough but cozy feel and love the exposed brick and brick courtyard. The on-site food was absolutely delicious. Rave reviews!! -

Fantastic Experience
We had the best experience with all of the staff- especially Davis, our day of coordinator. Davis made sure that not only my husband and I were taken care of throughout the whole process, but that our guests were taken care of as well. He contacted every vendor prior to and made sure everything flowed the day of. My guests afterwards were saying, “I want his information for my future wedding, Davis is excellent and so professional and fun!” and we couldn’t agree more. The venue was beautiful. We had 60 total and it felt perfect but can hold more if need be. We had our ceremony in the courtyard and held our reception in the building and it was perfect. -

As soon as I walked into Bakery 105 for my initial tour I knew I wanted to have my October 2021 reception there. JJ did a great job of showing photos of how the space could be used/organized/decorated, knew the answers to all of my questions regarding design limitations, chairs/tables, dance floor, etc. Once I booked the venue, I began working with Katie, who is just the nicest and most professional human ever. She was so quick to respond to all of my questions, suggestions, concerns, and unnecessary stress-outs. She was also my day-of coordinator (I did not hire a wedding planner), and made the entire cocktail hour and reception run so smoothly. The food was incredible, the bartenders and servers were all so professional, kind, and prompt, and the whole thing is truly a well-oiled machine that is SO customizable to exactly what you envision.

Absolutely stunning. Bakery 105 was absolutely the best reception venue choice. In the heart of downtown Wilmington it is perfect. The exposed brick walls, the brick flooring, the skylights, it is stunning and needs minimal decorations. The courtyard area is perfect for cocktail hour and for your wedding exit.
Jordan made our planning process so easy. My husband and I both went to school at UNCW and knew we wanted to have our wedding in Wilmington. I automatically thought of Bakery 105. However, we currently live in Pittsburgh and know planning it from several states away was going to be hard. But the staff of Bakery 105 made it so easy and seamless. I was never worried about anything. Day of we had some issues with linens and they were on top of it. They will make sure everything is perfect for you. I would not have changed a single thing about that day. -

Bakery 105 was *AWESOME*. I originally booked this venue over 2 years ago, without my husband, after visiting with my mom and knowing the space was perfect. I had 2 criteria: exposed brick, and in my hometown of Wilmington. We originally planned our wedding for the fall of 2020, and when the world went haywire, decided to postpone until November 6th, 2021. I had heard horror stories about venues who made this process a nightmare - but at Bakery, it was seamless. One phone call and everything was moved. Amazing venue and staff aside, the catering service was incredible. The tasting was a blast to go to with several members of my family, and as another review mentioned - you don't get to try everything you might choose, but what I can assure you is that everything on this menu is amazing. I will never forget looking over at my sister-in-law during dinner mouthing "forget the steak - this chicken is incredible!!" (As was the steak, but I wasn't expecting to blow guests away with Chicken Piccata). I have an uncle who is still raving about just how amazing our dinner was. This team is the kindest, most helpful people. The venue is absolutely stunning. The food is amazing. And it's right in the heart of Wilmington - we even have a few wedding photos with the iconic bridge shot. I can't say enough good things and I'm so glad we chose to hold our wedding here. -

Perfection!
Bakery 105 was an absolute dream experience for planning a wedding. And the coordinator, KATIE IS PERFECTION!! My mom and I enjoyed every meeting with her, she made it so much fun and stress free (that is NOT common.) It was the most gorgeous wedding I have ever seen, I know I am biased, but honestly, it was stunning and the day went perfectly!!! I was torn between 2 venues in Wilmington - Wrightsville Manor which is an absolutely gorgeous (and newer) venue, and Bakery 105 which is also beautiful (but not quite as big and much older). If I'm being honest, Wrightsville Manor was a prettier venue to me, but I wasn't crazy about the location (odd location, no hotels real close), and loved that Bakery was downtown (makes it easy to go straight to a bar after for an after party without losing your whole group due to people driving/Ubering, and plenty of AirBnbs and hotels nearby so I didn't feel the need to provide transportation since everyone could walk if they needed to). And don't get me wrong, Bakery is beautiful! I love the outside courtyard covered in ivy, the whitewash brick inside is stunning, the natural light coming in from the windows in the ceiling, etc - lots of charm! But it was really the people that made my decision for me. Wrightsville Manor acted like they didn't have time to show me around even though we had an "appointment". We last minute tried to get an appointment to see Bakery 105 and 128 South (their sister venue) while my mom was in town and they didn't have any available, but we thought we would try walking in to 128 South to see if we could peek around. Right away, Jill introduced herself and happily gave us a packet of information and offered to show us around both venues without hesitation. Jill was an absolute joy and was a big reason we ultimately chose Bakery. Fast forward to working with their coordinator Katie Swain and I am SO GLAD I chose Bakery! Katie is an absolute godsend and was so much fun to work with. I anticipated on the day-of that there would be things done differently than I would have done and had prepared for that, knowing that it wouldn't matter at the end of the day and that nobody would notice but me...but I was wrong! Katie absolutely nailed my vision right down to every little detail! And she is so much fun now I just want to be her friend :)
I only have one complaint: I do wish they did their tastings differently - I didn't care for the group, family-style tastings because we had no say in what we got to try and we didn't have a chance to try the food we ultimately picked before the big day. -

We went with the micro wedding package at Bakery 105 after having to reschedule our wedding three times and downsize quite a bit. I was a little overwhelmed having to replan again only a few months out from the wedding. However, as part of the package we chose, we had an AMAZING coordinator, Jordan, who made everything so simple and stress free. She took care of everything for us! The big day went so smoothly and easily, we didn't have to stress about anything because it was all taken care of for us. She made sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. And, she was the absolute sweetest person. The Bridal Cottage was perfect. We all had so much fun getting ready and it was the perfect space for it. The catering provided was out of this world. I still have guests calling me talking about how good the meal was. The venue was absolutely beautiful and you CAN NOT beat the value of their micro packages. Bakery 105 made our wedding day more beautiful than we could have even imagined beforehand. 10/10 would recommend! -

Wow - everything about our experience with Bakery 105 was absolutely perfect. I can't even bring myself to shorten my review because it feels like an injustice to leave out any of the details. This venue is beautiful, the day was seamless, and Katie and Jordan were profoundly amazing to work with every single step of the way. You could not ask for two people more dedicated to perfecting your wedding day.
No matter how many tedious questions I asked, I never once felt anything but comfort and support. I had the added stress of planning our wedding from out of town and was not able to have some of the most important conversations in person, yet it felt as easy as if the venue was in my backyard. So if you live out of town, don't let that scare you. Plus, these ladies are gurus. Seriously. I did not think a wedding like the one I had would be possible within my budget, and of course I stretched here and there, but they also helped me find ways to save in other areas. They can work with whatever your goals are, and they continued to impress me with their innovation, creative suggestions, and total sincerity and generosity. Additionally, they are completely candid about every little cost from day one - so you need not worry about "surprise" mandatory expenses.
This venue is breath-takingly beautiful, but even the most beautiful venue may not feel worth it if the process is a nightmare. I am a control freak and prone to anxiety, but I felt nothing but total calm on my wedding day and it's all thanks to this team. Katie was on top of everything, without ever coming across as bossy or unreasonable. She was there with an answer to my questions before I even had to ask, and had a solution for literally everything. No task was too big or too small for her - she even helped me change into my Keds during the reception! She also made sure Brett and I always had a drink in our hands (if we wanted one) so that we never had to waste time going to the bar, she made us full plates of food when she realized we got pulled away by conversation, and she never let the plans get off track. She perfectly executed even the nit-pickiest of my requests, and always with a smile. Yet for how present she was, Katie never felt overwhelming or in the way. I am so grateful we found and chose this venue. I truly cannot imagine having done anything differently - it really was perfect.
Bonus: the food was absolutely incredible. I come from a large family - we have had a LOT of weddings - and I was told by countless people this was the best food they've had at a wedding, and one of the (if not the single most) beautiful venues they've seen. -

On October 2, 2020 we hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for 55 guests at Bakery 105. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our event! Planning an event during a pandemic, in a city where you do not live, just weeks prior to your event date could have been totally overwhelming—if not impossible! The owners and staff at Bakery 105 made it seem easy and they helped us create an evening for our family and friends that was exactly as we had envisioned!
The team at Bakery 105 is extremely organized and has excellent, ongoing communication with their clients. We were able to quickly make decisions on all food and bar options and on vendors needed to provide additional services such as linens and music. They coordinated all of the work with the various vendors to be sure everything was delivered and available as planned. They even provided maps of available nearby parking options that we were able to include in the invitations for our guests.
They were very aware of our need for safety during the pandemic. Katie helped us in planning how to serve the hors oeuvres safely. Rather than having self-serve stations, she worked with us to have our selections prepared so they could be served individually on skewers and these were passed by the servers. We chose The Charleston Buffet for dinner and our guests loved the food! They raved about the fried chicken and both the Eastern and Western BBQs! Many of them went back to the buffet for seconds. The servers at the buffet also helped to keep the environment safe. I was pleased to learn that Bakery 105 ALWAYS has servers for their buffets, rather than allowing guests to serve themselves--- not just during the pandemic. We were able to select which beers and wines were served. The bar service was quick and efficient and they continued to provide table service during the dinner. We also liked the option of having the bar service priced per person and by the number of hours for our event. This allowed us to manage the costs well.
Bakery 105 also arranged for additional staff to sanitize the restrooms after each guest’s visit. They worked with us to safely design an indoor environment with appropriate spacing to maximize safety.
Our event was beautiful and very well-run! Bakery 105 had developed a time line that included all parts of our planned evening’s activities and were available to manage any changes as needed. They provided all of the necessary equipment for background music and a wireless microphone for the toasts! The lighting and décor were perfect for our event—all we had to add were the table decorations and linens. We were able to enjoy the outdoor patio during the cocktail hour and our photographer was able to capture some wonderful photos or our family and friends during this time.
If you are planning a once-in-a-lifetime special event, you want it to be perfect! Bakery 105 provided this for us!

We had such a good experience working with Katie (the wedding coordinator) and the crew at Bakery 105/128 South. We had our wedding set and planned out and then the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Katie did such a great job working through countless variations of what the day would look like with us, trying to figure out what would be allowed during all of the restrictions, while still trying to have our dream wedding. She more than succeeded our day at 128 South was perfect! The food was amazing, as were the bartenders and staff that worked at the event. Katie more than exceeded our expectations as a planner during the whole process, but especially the day of, she took care of so many things that we didn't even think about- her attention to detail is top notch! We used Bakery 105 for our ceremony and reception, and used the Cottage across the street for the bride/bridesmaids to get ready. Katie and Jordan (the coordinators) worked with us to create a day that reflected everything we dreamed of and asked for. We wanted a wedding that was authentic, peaceful, and reflective of the love we share. It was that and SO much more. I delivered my decorations the day before the wedding, and Katie turned it into something out of a magazine. I had some pictures in my mind, but she blew my expectations away. When I walked into the venue, I felt so lucky, listened to, and loved.
