The cake and florals were the most important part of our wedding so I spent a long time tasting cakes and reviewing designs. Thea caught my eye on Instagram because her work is precise, clean and gorgeous! The flavor of her cakes are just as amazing as her designs. She allowed us to taste test as many as we wanted throughout the year of planning and was extremity pleasant and fun to work with. I will most defiantly use Bakermama for any future cake needs! -

Thea with Bakermama made our amazing wedding cakes! We loved our snickerdoodle baseball cake with Champagne icing. Tastes fabulous! Our wedding cake itself had intricate beautiful design, floral and swirls of icing. It was layered with chocolate, vanilla cakes, and champagne icing. We received so many complements on design and taste. Thea was very sweet to me at her kitchen visit and her prices are super reasonable! Recommend to all! -

So happy with our cake, and Thea is amazing!
Working with Thea was such a great experience from start to finish. She gave us a gorgeous (and extremely delicious) cake and she was so easy to communicate with the whole time. I’m so grateful for her continuous flexibility since we started planning with her in like 2019 - she accommodated 2 changes to our event date - and she just made everything so easy and stress-free. It’s also worth it to pay for delivery to the venue and rent a cake stand from her (we did both). Absolutely hire her for your wedding! -

I cannot say enough about these cakes. They were so delicious, and so beautiful. Thea created masterpieces, including a Chicago sports cake for my Chicago native husband. She is extremely flexible, responsive and one of the sweetest people I have ever met! If she is available for your date...book her now!!! -

Bakermama was such a pleasure to work with! I went to her home in McKinney to pick up cake samples and she was kind, caring, and you could tell very passionate about what she does. I knew she was the one to do our cakes. It was hard to choose just one flavor - so we didn't! Our wedding cake was two different flavors, and Groom's cake another flavor. The wedding cake turned out absolutely stunning (4 tiers, textured buttercream) and the Groom's cake was a HIT! She was able to make a cake in the shape of a Ford Torino (I wasn't sure if it was possible!) with "Just Married" on the back and our last name on the license plate. It was absolutely amazing! I am so thankful that we found Bakermama to do our cakes! She made everything easy, was professional and responsive, and delivered beautiful, delicious cakes to our venue. What more could we ask for! I highly recommend Bakermama! -

Amazing! Couldn’t have asked for more!
Thea was amazing right from the start!! Loved her adorable little sampler box. ❤️ We had a change of date and she was very accommodating. We even had a change of date cake made, which was so sweet. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, moist and delicious. We chose a Strawberry/Vanilla layered cake with the cream cheese based frosting between layers. Loved it!
We would highly recommend!! Thank you Thea!!! -

Amazing Baker!
We hired Bakermama for our wedding on 05/02/2020 after I saw pictures of her beautiful cakes on Instagram. From the very beginning, she has been incredible to work with. When we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to the Corona virus, Bakermama could not be more understanding. I asked Bakermama for her assistance in surprising my fiancé with a small cake on our original date and she made the incredible cake pictured below. Did I mention how delicious her cakes are as well? If you are looking for a baker who is talented, reasonably priced and the sweetest to work with, please look no further! -

Thea was WONDERFUL from our first email, to the multiple emails in between, to the actual delivery of our perfect cakes on wedding day! My husband had a pretty specific idea in mind that was pretty detailed (a personalized golf figurine, beard and all, a toy sized excavator, and a golf green all on one cake!) and when he described it to Thea, she was SO excited and said she loved doing detailed grooms cake. I was so relieved! For my Bride's cake, I just gave her a broad idea of what I wanted and the outcome was better than anything I could have thought of. Thea is such an easy-going, kind person and that really helped to put us at ease during our planning process. Her cakes are beyond gorgeous and they taste even better! I was sure that I wanted white cake with white icing for my Bride's cake, but after our tasting, we ended up going with strawberry and snickerdoodle. SO DELICIOUS! Thea is also so affordable. I was so excited that we were able to book Thea to create our dream cakes, while still staying within our budget. She was very prompt when responding to my, what felt like, hundreds of emails and was always kind and professional. I don't have enough kind words to say about Bakermama! She's just THE BEST. -

Wow! Thea at Bakermama Cakes was an absolute pleasure to work with. I found pictures of my dream wedding cake and my husbands dream Grooms Cake on Pinterest and she recreated them both perfectly! Not only that- her cakes taste amazing! My guests had nothing but amazing things to say about both cakes. For any Bride looking for an amazing wedding cake baker at a reasonable price- absolutely consider Thea at Bakermama. -

Thea was such a joy to work with! From the moment I reached out to her, she made herself completely available for all questions and advice that I needed.
I wasn't able to meet with her but one time, and yet I felt so at ease because of her responsiveness and enthusiasm for the project.
We did a groom's cake and a bridal cake and they were both so amazingly designed and tasted AMAZING! We didn't have any cake left at the end of the night. Can't wait for our one year anniversary cake! -

Let me start out by saying that Thea BLEW us away with the way Our wedding cake turned out. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Our grooms cake was also perfect . I have celiac disease and I looked REALLY hard and really long for someone that I would trust to make my portion GF but didn’t have to make the WHOLE thing GF because that would be really expensive. Thea’s GF cake was PERFECt. I can still imagine eating it and I can not wait for our anniversary to eat more!!!! She was professional through and through and was always quick to respond to correspondence. She has SO many wonderful flavor combos as well. Our favs were: strawberry, snickerdoodle, vanilla, and chocolate. Her icing is TO DIE for!!!!! The colors of the cake were perfect and so was all of the detail. Her prices are so reasonable for her quality as well. You can tell she truly loves what she does and shows through and through. Even the way she perfectly placed the fresh flowers was perfection!!! BOOK Bakermama cakes you will NOT be disappointed. There honestly wasn’t cake left because everyone has MULTIPLE pieces that’s how amazing it was!!!! -

We had inspirational pictures for this over the top themed Egyptian wedding cake, and man she pulled it off fantastically! Such an amazing cake artist! Everyone is still talking about our cake! From the tasting with my family and choosing the flavors we loved (3-tier vanilla, snickerdoodle, and strawberry) to finally getting to enjoy with our guests the cake we'd been bragging about. It was great. So easy to work with as she asked questions to find out what we were looking for and even trying new flavor profiles she hadn't done before which tasted amazing! My sister even chose her based on that first meeting her to provide her smash cake for her 30th birthday :) - a delicious peach cake with watercolor icing! Highly recommend and will go with again myself. Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Thank you, Althea. -

The real icing on the cake (haha) was that my entire cake was gluten-free carrot cake. I have never in my life tasted anything so divine, and the fact that it was gluten-free and safe on my wedding day? Priceless! -

The cake was delivered on time. Thea decorated our cake with the flowers we prepared ourselves and everything turned out to be so great! The cake tasted so good as well. I could not express enough how grateful I am!
