You can’t ask for a better team to help you with your event. From day one they were so helpful to the night of event to everything they told us would happen as far as clean up, service and set up was spot on. They made sure we were taking care of all night long. The communication was also exceptional. You can’t go wrong with everything about this vendor. -

We booked our catering 2.5 years out from our actual wedding. When I say that Ms. Angel has been an actual angel during the process, I mean it. She was able to customize our menu to fit out specific preferences. Replied emails very quickly. Has been super friendly and helpful throughout the process. She even got the menu to fit my wants and my budget. The food was amazing! If you have the opportunity, I would get their shrimp and grits. I will be recommending Bacon and Fig to all of my friends and family for their upcoming events.Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

Bacon& Fig catered a formal, plated dinner for 70 for our son’s rehearsal dinner at the Louisiana Culinary Institute. The bar and guest book table were set up in the lobby. 11 round tables draped with white linens were set with china and glassware. Use of audio visual equipment was included. We had 3 passed appetizers, a choice of grilled fish or beef, vegetables, whipped potatoes, salad, bread, butter, desserts. 2 wine and 2 beer options were provided. We separately engaged Cheryl Palmer Designs to decorate the space. Bacon & Fig Events provides catering at the client’s choice of venues. The quote was a per person rate, facility rental and included sales tax. The optional gratuity was not.Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

As the mother of the bride, I can highly recommend Bacon & Fig. My daughter and her fiance' live out of state and they went above and beyond to accommodate us scheduling meetings at short notice when they were in town to zoom calls and emails. Charlie was very reassuring to this Mom that he had done this before and I felt totally confident that it would all work out and it did. Guests were coming from all over the country and we wanted them to have a taste of Louisiana and they did not disappoint. All of the guests were highly complimentary. Our guests are still talking about the delicious food prepared by Bacon & Fig Events! The food and service were simply amazing. Joey and I could not have dreamed of a better caterer/event coordinator for our wedding reception. From our first "before hours" phone call with Charlie Ruffolo, he and Bacon & Fig Events were nothing less than enthusiastic, responsive and delightful! They made us feel as if our Wedding reception was the only one every step of the way. From suggestions for and changes to the menu, action stations, tray passing, and venue walk through, to the personalized wedding tasting and to serving all our guests at the event with a smile, Bacon & Fig was fantastic!!!!! Incredible!
4.29.23 was the absolute best day of our lives! We had a “destination wedding” in New Orleans and it was even better than we dreamed it would be.
We had both, catering and bar services, through Bacon and Fig. Hands down one of the most incredible parts of our wedding!!
From the first time we reached out, Charlie was so kind and very responsive! He helped us put together the perfect menu for ourselves and our guests (we had about 80 guests). They were happy to travel to New Orleans (from Baton Rouge) and Hicks met us at the venue a few months prior to our wedding to do a walk through and map everything out for food stations and bar space.
We wanted to feature signature cocktails for both the bride and groom, and Bacon and Fig nailed it!! We made a trip down to Baton Rouge to do a taste test of our menu choices and our signature drinks (which they made several versions of so we could pick THE perfect recipe).
The hospitality at the taste test and on our wedding day was something we will never ever forget (and neither will our guests).
I really can’t say enough great things about every bit of our experience with Bacon and Fig. We are so happy we found them and would gladly reccomend them!! We will definitely be making it a point to stop at their restaurant BR&Q on future trips down to Baton Rouge or New Orleans.
It’s also worth mentioning that even in the midst of our busy wedding, I know we both saw Hicks constantly checking all stations and picking up any plates or trash left on tables. They boxed all leftovers up for us and cleaned the catering kitchen as well!Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

An amazing wedding rehearsal dinner!
We hosted our son and his fiancés wedding rehearsal dinner at BRQ and used Bacon and Fig catering for our food choices. We had a fish, chicken or steak options for our guests and everyone raves about ALL of them. The side dishes were also very tasty. It was a plated dinner done very professionally. The chef and coordinator that evening was Tristan and he was attentive but not overbearing and he made everything we asked for happen seamlessly. The servers were great and Delaney who was our bartender made us some really great drinks! Gigi was the one I coordinated everything with prior to the event and she was accommodating and so helpful with ideas. We were extremely happy with our event and would absolutely host another event here in the future.Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

I can’t say enough about Bacon and Fig, Charlie, Justin, and the staff. For starters the food was absolutely incredible. Charlie was responsive and took multiple calls to assure everything was smooth. Our guests enjoyed the authentic NOLA cuisine and every staff working at our reception was so sweet and professional. We were connected with Charlie/Bacon and Fig through our wedding planner and we could not have imagined a more positive experience with caterers than the one we had. From the very beginning Charlie was extremely responsive to my messages, willing to text/call me on the weekends for any questions I had. He was very patient and helpful when it came to creating the perfect menu for our guests in order to expose them to some of New Orleans best cuisine. We arranged for a tasting at Bacon and Fig in Baton Rouge before our wedding and we were just blown away by this experience. Charlie and Hicks rolled out the red carpet for us, helping us finalize our specialty cocktails and serving us some of the MOST delicious food I've ever had which speaks volumes in a city like New Orleans where there is no shortage of good food. Charlie and Hicks were both incredibly professional and knowledgable during this tasting and answered all of our questions. Charlie even gave us a tour of the amazing culinary institute and showed us the 3D printer they used to make these amazing cookies that had a photo of us on them. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was. Hicks was our day of coordinator and both him and all the staff there were an absolute joy to work with and made the evening run so smoothly. Our guests enjoyed the food so much that there were no leftovers at the end of the night. We ended the night with freshly made beignets which were handed out in individual baggies to everyone, those were a total hit! 10/10 would recommend Bacon and Fig. Not only was the food amazing but everyone involved was so lovely to work with. They really helped elevate our special day and we are so grateful for them.Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

We recently got married this October and had Bacon & Fig Events cater to our wedding in Lafayette. They were responsive from the start and worked with me and my MANY revisions. I probably changed my mind and the guest count like 5 times. They were equipped with set up, clean up and they honestly saved me when it came to cutting the cake. I might've forgotten to get a knife set for the cake cutting... but one was sitting on the table next to the cake! I also bought plates and forks from Amazon and didn't need them because Bacon & Figs was already prepared. The staff onsite that night was so friendly and really contributed to the atmosphere! Guest raved about how good the food was and we had exactly enough alcohol for everyone to have a good time!Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

Bacon and Fig came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. We used them for full service for our wedding reception. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. Working with the coordinators was super easy and they were always very responsive. We always felt like we were their #1 priority. We're so grateful to Charlie for taking our dreams and making them a reality on our big day. We originally inquired about having our brunch wedding reception at BRQ, but after one quick tour over to the LCI facility, we knew that was the perfect space for us! He was able to work with us on creating the brunch menu of our dreams, and worked with his team to execute that mission. Erin's attention to detail leading up to our event is truly what was able to allow us to relax and soak in every moment with our guests at our reception. Even nearly a month later, guests are still raving about hospitality and the food, especially the stuffed boudin balls and omelette bar!! We hired Bacon and fig for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. Charlie and Justin were awesome at accommodating our needs and wants for the menu and they fully executed a sit down dinner without even having a kitchen to work in at the venue. Their services far surpassed our expectations and it was more than we could’ve ever hoped or wish for! The food was so delicious people are still talking about it to this day. And anyone who thinks that people won’t remember your wedding food, is wrong. So, book the best and bacon and Fig is it!Bacon & Fig Events's reply:

Bacon & Fig was recommended to me by a friend who used them for her wedding. She had nothing but great things to say about their service & food. I reached out to Charlie to inquire about having Bacon & Fig cater my wedding at the Capitol Park Museum in Baton Rouge, LA. Charlie quickly responded with helpful information & great enthusiasm. From the very beginning, Charlie was always amazing to work with. He worked to ensure that we were planning a great, balanced menu, with lots of variety and that was within our specified budget. The day before the scheduled tasting, I tested positive for COVID. I immediately called Charlie to let him know & we brainstormed a way to safely move forward with tasting. Charlie & his team continued to whip up a WIDE variety of food for us to sample & delivered it to our doorstep!! Talk about customer service!! Not only was the food incredible, but we didn't have to go to the grocery for days! After our hand-delivered non-contact tasting, my Dad & I had a three-way phone call with Charlie. We reviewed all of the items we sampled & developed our perfect menu. Charlie worked with us to customize the bar menu to ensure all of our guests would have access to their favorite drink of choice! I was dead set to have pizza as our "late night" item. Charlie & his team completely exceeded my expectations by making 150 individually packed personal pepperoni pizzas for the guests at the end of the night! The wedding reception ran so smoothly & the food was amazing! Reviews I have heard from my guests are as follows:
"The bartenders were AMAZING, they had my order memorized and when they saw me walking up they would start making a drink for me."
"You had a GREAT bar, my drink was never empty"
"The food was SO good & was party friendly (AKA: easy to eat)"
"The personal pizzas were amazing, the perfect ending to a perfect night"
I cannot thank Charlie & the whole team at Bacon & Fig enough! I highly recommend them for any event! My husband & I are already wanting to plan a big anniversary party down the road so we can use them and all of our amazing vendors again!Bacon & Fig Events's reply:
