Ray is the best photographer out there

Where do I start? Ray is the most genuine and outgoing photographer. Ray makes you feel so comfortable and is there for your every move and every picture you could have wanted. Our wedding had 200 people and him and his partner shot for 8 hours for us. One for the guys and Ray was with us girls. He met with us ahead of time and was always available to answer questions. He genuinely makes you feel comfortable in your own skin and captures all your special moments. Choose Ray you wont be disappointed!

We can’t say enough nice things about Ray Baca. We used Ray as the photographer for our wedding, and it was hands down the best decision we could have made. From the first meeting Ray put both of us at ease knowing that he would put the magic of our wedding down into photos. He and his associate shooter Rain captured every moment beautifully. They were right in the middle of every event throughout the night, yet somehow you hardly knew they were there at all. Ray is truly a professional. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be happier.

I cannot speak highly enough about Baca Photography!! Ray’s energy lights up the room and that is exactly the type of photographer you want by your side on your wedding day. Ray brought on a second photographer, Rain James Photography for our wedding day. Rain was an absolute pleasure and Ray could not have brought on a better photographer to help him out! Ray and Rain made a great team and our photos are STUNNING. Our wedding party, family and guests ALL said Ray and Rain were absolutely wonderful. Ray was awesome! He has a great personality and is really talented. He is also very accommodating and listens to what you want. I had him and an assistant for the whole day and had the rights to all the photos they took in the end! I wouldn't have gone with anyone else!

I just returned from my son and daughter in law's wedding in beautiful Savannah, Ga. What a gorgeous church, wonderful city and great reception. But you're reading this review probably because you are seeking a photographer for your event. Never, and I mean never, have I had an experience with a photographer that was as exceptional as the one we experienced this past weekend. Ray was invisible when he needed to be, yet captured every essence and beauty of the wedding. His eye and eagerness for the perfect shot, light and background was unbelievable. He was engaging, professional and extremely well prepared with every aspect of the event. My husband and I used to live in Wilmington so when we were picking a wedding venue the beach won without a doubt. I then started asking around to friends who they would use for a photographer. Every single one of them mentioned Ray Baca. I hopped on the website and filled out the request because I had to find out for myself what this was all about. Ray called me back within minutes and we spent the next two hours on the phone (I had decided he was our photographer without even speaking to my fiance). We booked Ray the next day and I can truly say Ray, my husband and I really formed a friendship right away. He was someone to bounce ideas off of during our planning and to say he was a huge help is definitely an understatement. On our wedding day Ray was amazing. We also had one of his assistants, Jessica, who was fabulous as well and we would totally recommend her also. When I say they never stopped, I really mean it. They literally captured every moment. When we got the pictures back my Husband and I many times looked at each other and said "wow I didn't even know that happened!!". We have two young children so that was really important to us, capture all of it, since on your wedding day you're so busy sometimes you miss things. Ray and Jessica were so easy to work with and they're both so easy going that it put everyone at ease so we all just had fun, even during formals everyone was laughing. At the end of our wedding and the next day all of our family was commenting on how amazing our photographers were. Someone mentioned to me when we first got engaged that spending money on an amazing photographer is important because in 10 years it's the only tangible thing you will have to remember your wedding by. Their comment was so spot on and I am so thrilled with the pictures we got from Ray. Thank you for being such a huge part of our day and for making it so special!! We cannot thank you enough! Ray was introduced to us by a mutual friend, and now he's practically family. Ray really wanted to shoot our wedding, and he had so much to bring to the table, that we quickly secured him as first official "vendor." Little did we know, he would be the cornerstone of our entire planning process. We ran every decision past him, just in case. Not only does Ray know everyone in the Wilmington wedding industry, he took the time to get to know us, before giving us his honest recommendation on vendors on our short list. If anyone knows how to assemble the A-Team, it's Baca. He is thoughtful, kind, and he takes the time to make you (and every guest) feel special. Kids love him. Mother's adore him. And pets never go unnoticed :) He's so creative in his process and he has an eye for the details and beautiful moments we might have missed otherwise. Ray is a wonderful photographer, person, planner and at times, therapist. We're so pumped to see the final product, I know they'll be beautiful. No matter what, Ray will be a life-long friend, but I hope to share his skill with many other brides :) Thank you Ray!

Ray was AMAZING and so fun to work with! I really liked his non-traditional approach and the fact that he still took the time to get the shots that I really wanted too! I'm a pretty shy girl, but Ray did all he could to make me more comfortable, especially during the posey pictures! He was also super quick with getting back anytime I had questions or needed help with anything. All of my photos are great and I LOVE them!

Ray was amazing. Right off the bat, we hit it off and he was a perfect addition to my wedding. He was great with the guests and getting the photos we wanted. We kept in touch almost weekly from the first meeting all the way through the wedding date, and we got all our pictures back way quicker than I was expecting. If I could do it all over, I would go with Ray without a second thought!

There literally are no words! Ray has been a friend for years, but is now truly considered family. In addition to being an extremely talented photographer, he is the most genuine and kindest soul you'll ever meet. He loves his community, fellow vendors, clients and his career. He dedicates his whole heart and 150% of his focus and energy into every job. When my husband and I got engaged, there was no question who we wanted to be our photographer. Ray is a true professional and there is no doubt that he knows exactly what he's doing.
In addition to booking him as our photographer, we also booked his venue The Loft on Front for our engagement party and for a place for my bridal party and I to get ready the day of. If you haven't seen or booked his beautiful historic downtown venue for your next event, I strongly suggest that you do so. The place will take your breath away when you walk in...it has an incredible view of downtown Wilmington, gorgeous lighting, lounge furniture, music, etc. My bridal party and I pranced around with champagne while getting ready in this awesome venue. It was such a dream and the most fun we've ever had. Every bride should be as happy as I was while getting ready for their big day :)
There is no detail that Ray overlooks. If you want to ensure that you'll have pictures that you can't put down or ever get tired of looking at, book Ray. If you want to ensure that you have the best photographer and that every detail of your big day is captured, book Ray. We have over 1500 pictures of our wedding day and love them all!! I had to give five stars because it will not allow me to give more. Ray is for sure the best photographer in Wilmington and probably the rest of the world. There is no one that dedicates more time, love and energy to their brides (and family) than Ray Baca. Several of my close friends had used him for their weddings, but that is not what sold me. Before I was even able to get to know him, Ray has dedicated time and energy to give back to the community, which is the first trait that caught my eye. Then I met with him, and I am convinced Ray is simply short for "ray of sunshine." He lights up the room with his personality. Finally, we saw his pictures. THEY ARE AMAZING! He captures details that most would overlook. While he had me at hello, his work will speak for itself. And just wait until your wedding day. There is no one better to have by your side than Ray Baca. Not only did he capture the day with his amazing photography, he was our rock. When hiccups began to occur, Ray took over and we were left with NOTHING to worry about. Our arbor was set up crooked, Ray fixed it. Our DJ was a jerk, Ray fixed it. We did not know a thing about weddings, Ray made sure we knew a timeline, positions, procedures and made sure we ate. He is so so much more than a photographer and, while the pictures he took are amazing, I am most blessed to have Ray as a friend for the rest of my life. LOVE YOU RAY! YOU ARE THE BEST!

Ray is an awesome photographer! Not only do you get a top of the line photographer on your wedding day, you also get a friend. I saw Ray's work ethic and his final product when he was the photographer at a friends wedding. Once I got engaged I knew he had to be my photographer.

I emailed him and right away got a response, after meeting with Ray I REALLY knew he had to be my photographer, and I do not regret my decision. :)

From our first meeting to after the wedding Ray has been great. I love pictures and I love taking pictures, but it can be awkward having someone in your face with a camera for hours on end. But with Ray it felt more like a friend taking the picture so I was more comfortable and my smile was natural.

The images Ray captured are breathtaking. The reaction people had to the images from our engagement session helped assure me that my wedding pictures were going to be perfect. I cannot begin to express how happy I am with all our pictures!

I placed one of the images from my bridal session next to my cake table. We had numerous people come up to us and say "we don't know how much you paid him, but from that image and the way he hasn't stopped taking pictures all night, he was money well spent" and I could not agree more.

I can not thank him enough for the memories he captured on my wedding day. I can't wait for another moment in my life where I will need a professional photographer so I can work with Ray again.

We could not be more thrilled with our entire experience with Baca Photography. From the initial emails traded back and forth, to the relaxed meeting to discuss our wedding, to the actual photography on the big day, I felt valued and appreciated as a customer. Both Ray and Meg were extremely attentive and responsive to all of my questions and concerns, and really helped to ease my nerves knowing that our day would be well documented and respected. We had a very small ceremony and reception, but we received the same attention that a larger, more traditional event would have, and photographer Meg was friendly, relaxed, and super efficient throughout the entire thing. She went with the flow and really seemed to understand and appreciate my husband's and my laidback style and worked that into her shots. All in all, I can't say enough good things about Baca Photography. I just wish I had more friends to recommend them to! :)

Working with Baca Photography was an amazing experience. I feel like I have every moment captured in a picture. The pictures are elegant, timeless, beautifully edited, and are provided at a great resolution for excellent print quality.

Ray was available via phone, text, email, and social media. I had all of my questions answered and never felt like I was just a client on a list. Working with Ray was a very personal experience. We are still in touch today and he has actually done other photography projects for me.

Ray was also very helpful in planning details of the wedding day and had a lot of great connections in the industry.

Working with Ray was great - he was always very responsive and helpful with any questions we had - whether they were photography related or not. Meg Beazley photographed our special day, and she is utterly FANTASTIC. She was extremely professional and involved in our wedding. She made sure to know exactly what was happening on our wedding day, and was prepared to deal with any family issues and worked great with all of our other contractors and vendors. The BEST photographer you will ever find! No competition! From the second I called Ray for a quote, I knew he was so much more than my wedding photographer. Being new to Wilmington, Ray was honestly one of my first friends in town! He helped me with everything from finding vendors to learning the hot spots downtown to knowing when/where to do engagement pics. He even worked on my wedding timeline to make sure we would have the right lighting for photos! Not to mention, my entire wedding party said he was so much fun that they thought we were old friends!

Now on to the photos, WOW! I've never liked a photo of myself, ever! Not on facebook, instagram or anywhere. But Ray changed all of that, he takes the most beautiful and creative photos! And he will help you with things like "should my hair be like this" or "how can I make me face look thinner" I am serious, if you have an issue with most photos of yourself Ray can address it and help you! He brought Michelle along on our wedding day and she was awesome as well! They taught me how to carry my dress train and other things you just don't think about. They really become your support system throughout the whole process.

Our wedding photos and engagement photos are a dream come true. Don't skimp on photography, it is only a week and a half since my wedding and the night is a blur an the memories fade and then you get Ray's photos and you will cry and relive the day all over again! Skimp on other things but not photography! Look through his portfolio and you will instantly see the creativity and originality in his work. These aren't your cheesy photos that you see all too often.

I just can't say enough great things about Baca Photography! I can't wait to find an excuse to work with Ray again!

Where to begin about Ray Baca. In one word, he is INCREDIBLE! Photography was the one thing I was willing to splurge on for the wedding, and would pick Ray a million times over. He is absolutely amazing not only as a photographer, but as a person and friend. Ray and his team worked their tails off all day long to capture every single moment of a day that will never happen again. He didn't miss a thing. From the day that my husband & I met Ray Baca, we knew that we were in for a delightful experience. He has such a friendly & infectious personality that we knew he would be THE photographer for us. He clearly outlined the package options, as well as price and seasonal offers that were available to us. I had seen Ray's work on Facebook already, as he is well-known & liked in my hometown, Wilmington, NC. At first glance of his showcased work, we asked him to photograph our big day. In addition to our wedding day package, we took advantage of the engagement & bridal sessions, also. What a wonderful experience!! Ray has a way of putting brides at ease and to help them relax in front of the camera. This was HUGE for me because I can be a nervous/anxious individual. He was flexible with our crazy schedules and returned phone calls immediately. As our wedding day approached, he met with us several times to discuss our timeline and answer any questions that we had. I also found it so helpful that Ray knew all of our other vendors, personally. This was awesome because there were no gaps in communication about the wedding day.

I cannot say enough about the quality of our final product. The images were absolutely beautiful and make my heart so happy every time that I look at them. Ray and Michelle captured our family dynamics perfectly and no one was left out. They captured our flower girls praying & my sweet nephew yawning, haha! These are the priceless moments that I will keep forever, thanks to Baca Photography. The day was a whirlwind & I am so grateful to be able to go back to that day at any time. A million thanks!

Where do we begin? Ray was incredible. He was very personable and amazingly accommodating. He was the best decision we made for our wedding. He was so genuine and was ready to help at any time. Hurricane Sandy interrupted our wedding day, but Ray wasn't about to let that effect it. He was everywhere! And he made sure we always had a smile on our face. From helping us set up the RiverRoom for the ceremony instead of the outside deck to taking us outside after the ceremony for amazing pictures in the rain downtown. He is the most incredible person we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. At the end of it all, we don't even consider him a business partner, but a true friend.

Ray and Kim were fantastic! When we first met Ray we were sold! We wanted someone that could do the job with out it feeling like it is his job. He loves being a photographer and it shows. My friends and family members absolutely loved Ray! We had Baca Photography, at my daughters wedding a few weeks ago, he also did my sons wedding 2 years ago. He was the first person we booked right after my daughter got engaged. Ray is so professional, he was able to get the contempory shots we wanted, he also takes charge in the directing the bride and groom during the ceremony when things get a little hectic he is guiding the party along and he doesn't miss a trick!! Ray is fun and we feel like he is family. he gets to know the bride and groom so that everyone is comfortable, his pictures are a dream come true. When the wedding is over the pictures are the most valuable thing left because you can continually re-live that fairytale dream come true. Ray and his assistant Kim were just fantastic. We chose Ray back in March of 2012 for our daughter's wedding on Topsail Island, NC. I knew the moment that I first spoke to him that he was the man for the job. We live in Iowa, so all the preparations were made over the phone or by email. Ray, we cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work and for all you did to put Meaghan the bride and all of the rest of us at ease. Your eye for the unique is brilliant. Ray Baca and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Ray has a real eye for capturing special moments and his personality is professional yet fun. My daughters wedding day has been captured in photos by one of the best!! I would recommend Ray without hesitation!!

I can do nothing but sing the praises of Ray and his team at Baca Photography! Ray is a rare breed in today's busy hustle and bustle, get as much money as you can no matter what, wedding industry. For the quality of work his prices are extremely far! When I think of Ray this quote for his service comes to mind " cheap work ain't good and good work ain't cheap"! He captures the most important day of your life that generations and generations after you will look at. So, in the end I think no price can be put on the memories you and your family will cherish for decades to come! Ray takes the time to get to know the people he will be working with. Dinner /Drinks/emails/Phone calls, he does it all and in the end he knows who you are and what you want! He did my engagement and wedding photos. His images are artistic, crisp and clearly display his passion and experience. He captured my day from start to finish and all of my guests commented on him being so active and engaged taking every photo there was to be taken. One guest even mentioned if nothing was going on to take a photo of he would make something happen to take a photo of. I suggest you book Baca Photography and invest in purchasing the digital images because there will be hundreds! Now that my day is done I can't imagine it happening without Ray and his team at Baca Photography!!

I was SO pleased with Ray Baca and his other photographers for my wedding! He was so flexible and made the whole day LESS stressful! He is there for you in EVERY way...even when little things go wrong (flowers, tux, etc.)...he is going to fix them!!! I would suggest him for ANY individual who wants the best photos for a great price. Ray is the MAN!!!!

How can I possibly express what phenomenal photographers Ray and his team are in the small space that is provided here?! I simply can't! Ray Baca is by far the best photographer I have ever worked with. From the moment I met Ray, over a year and half ago, we had an instant connection. The professionalism, charisma and positive energy that Ray exudes is intoxicating! Ray is the only vendor I have ever met that befriends his clients, their families and friends and I am so glad he did! He was able to bring out the best in all of us and catch every important moment on camera. Not only is Ray an incredible photographer, he also helped to keep the day flowing and was great at communicating with our other vendors so that everyone was on the same page. Our day went off without a hitch and I can thank Ray enough for that! He was truly all about making Mike and I happy and he accomplished that with flying colors.

Ray Baca and his crew were AMAZING!!!!!! Ray is the man!!!! He has the best thoughts and ideas for pictures and is awesome at catching every moment on camera. I wouldn't want to work with anyone else but him. From day one when I met Ray I could tell that he would be shooting our wedding. I knew that I needed to find a photographer that not only had experience in the wedding industry but also the best. Of course, Ray Baca’s Photography was the best way to go. Ray was the photographer at my Sister’s wedding and the images were amazing. Therefore, I knew that he had a different fire for weddings. What I loved most about his images is that they weren't "traditional". He does action shots like I've never seen before. He has a way of capturing moments that are priceless. Ray was very timely and professional. It was easy to book our date and he answered all my questions and assured me that I would be 100% satisfied with his final product and I truly was. Ray is amazing and worth every cent!!!

Ray Baca is a sweetheart for one willing to accept our budget when everyone else basically slammed the door in our faces. We came all the way from to Wisconsin to get married in Wilmington. It unfortunatly rained all day on our wedding day as it was a very small just outside beach ceromony. He came to my grandmothers house while i was still at the salon getting ready to photograph my husband to be our daughter and family. And even though the outdoors weather or light was not on our side we all still made ths best of it. So thank you again Ray for all your help and hospitality.

My day would not have been the same if it wasn't for the incredible talent and professionalism of Ray Baca. From the champagne he brought to help us relax and celebrate to his willingness to meet at 7 in the morning, he made the most special day of my life even more memorable. Ray Baca was the glue that held our wedding together! He was so very laid back but yet so professional. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our special day with him. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Ray and his team! I was a long distance bride, and I knew just from my first phone conversation with Ray that he was the wedding photographer for us! He went out of his way to help me with all aspects of my planning. He knew how difficult it was to plan a wedding from hundreds of miles of away. He made the actual wedding day so special as well. He made the entire wedding party and guests feel so comfortable which really shows in the AMAZING photos. At my reception and still today I get comments about how wonderful Ray was while shooting our special day from wedding guests in attendance. I still have contact with Ray all the way from Cincinnati Ohio and I know that one day we will come back to Wilmington for him to do maternity and family portraits. He's worth the trip!!

Ray and his team are absolutely amazing at what they do! In the months leading up to our wedding he was easily accessible for questions and ideas and always proved to be an excellent resource for information about all things wedding! The day of the event his team was on time and ready to go, leaping into the craziness of wedding prep with ease and grace. Most of the time I didn't even realize I was being photographed which led to some ideal pictures. His team caught all the important moments with their cameras and even some that I never would have thought of. We ended up with so many wonderful pictures to choose from and share with our friends and family. I definitely recommend Ray to anyone for any event, I have seen his work and he's excellent for all events, large and small.

Although Ray was not my photographer, he and I have formed a friendship and I have recommended several friends to Baca Photography and I am also using Ray for another shoot that I am super excited about! :) I was extremely stressed while wedding planning and one wine date with Ray to discuss the Big Day put me at ease.

My photographer was Gina McDonald, an associate with Baca Photography. She was BEYOND AMAZING! Her photos really captured my husband and I, our crazy huge families and our ginormous 20 person wedding party and she somehow managed to get many photos with everyone smiling! She really worked her butt off (even at one point, hanging off the side of a yacht to get wedding party pictures!) and the photos really showed it. The reception photos make me laugh so much, because she really got some hilarious moments of us dancing, drinking, and enjoying the night! I look at my photos constantly and every single time, I fall more and more in love with them. Her eye for catching the slightest little moment was impeccable and I can never thank her enough for the incredible job she did.

The advice that I would give to any bride is this: 1) Make sure your wedding photographer understands you and your future hubby's personalities and the vision for your day. 2) Spend the money on a quality photographer simply because you will not regret it. and 3) USE BACA PHOTOGRAPHY!! You will not be disappointed!

Ray and his team are awesome! I always felt like myself, no posing. During our wedding photos, my husband and I were very comfortable and acted like we always do. Our pictures turned out amazing. Our entire family was excited and impressed at the photos.

Baca Photography was the best decision of my entire wedding! There are so many details and decisions that go into planning a wedding that unfortunately you don't get to enjoy on your big day, simply because it flies by. I remember purposefully trying to take a moment to notice everything and take it all in, but I still wasn't able to appreciate it all. That's why my photographers were irreplaceable. They were able to capture the event in its entirety so that I was not only able to enjoy all the details but I could also relive the day- the most wonderful day of my life. They captured every beautiful moment without missing a beat or being noticed. Ray became a friend that I felt comfortable with, and at the same time remained professional and proficient. Ray Baca is TOP NOTCH! When you hire him not only are you hiring a top notch professional, but you are getting a true friend! He truly understands how to make the bride feel special- he has great recommendations and ideas but is also open to any ideas you may have and makes them happen! I didn't hire a wedding planner for our event of 250+ guests and I was stressing about it at first but after talking with Ray, and with his assurance, I felt a million times better. He helped me create a timeline and guided us through the entire process. He knows exactly what to do and how to come up with quick solutions to most any problems that may arise simply b/c of his expertise and because he cares that much about making everything perfect with no stress on the bride! I'm really not sure how my day would have happened without him and his team! Thanks for putting up with us- I know we were a crazy bunch but you guys seemed to fit right in and go with our flow. I can't say enough great things about Ray! From the moment we first met with him, my fiance and I knew that we wanted him to be with us to capture our wedding day. We recently did our engagment session with Ray and we couldn't be more excited. He made it fun for us and the pictures are AMAZING! Throughout the whole wedding planning, he responded immediately when I texted him with a question and was very flexible because it rained the first day we had scheduled our engagment session. The engagment photo session was very comfortable and we felt like we had spent time with a friend. Ray truly cared about taking pictures to help us remember this awesome time in our lives! We are having a hard time choosing our favorite photo because there are so many we love! :)

My husband and I decided from the very beginning that we wanted the best photographer in Wilmington to shoot our wedding. After looking at several photographer's images online I called Ray (Baca) to get pricing. When I got off the phone I didn't feel like I had just got the whole "typical salesman schmoozing". You could tell that he truly had a passion for what he does and a genuine concern for people. Not only would he call, email, and text me often to see how wedding plans were coming and to see if there was anything he could do to help, he also called to check on how my husband's grandmother was doing after I had told him that she had become ill and see how school and life was going for me. He knew that planning a wedding from hundreds of miles away was stressful in addition to dealing with everyday life. Come wedding day, he was nothing short of amazing! The images he has shown me so far are better than I could have ever imagined. He was kind, fun, professional, and made sure everyone felt at ease which shows in the photos. I could go on all day about Ray and his assistant Hillary who was also amazing on the wedding day. Ray also travels for weddings, so if you want the best there is out there Baca Photography is it!

Not only is Ray a fun professional to work with, but he was also very helpful with wedding day planning and coordinating. You feel comfortable with him and have fun during your photo sessions. Plus, he is with you all day (8 hrs)!

Ray and his associates were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them to anyone. Ray is very easy going and does a wonderful job at allowing you to have fun and be yourself. He captured photos of all of my guests and the most important parts of my day that was priceless. It did take a little time after my wedding to see my photos, but the wait was worth it!

Ray was worth every penny! He was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He has many contacts in the area and even helped us find a violinist for the ceremony. The pictures were beautiful. He came with lots of ideas but also was flexible in listening to specific shots that we wanted. During the reception, not only was he was constantly capturing intimate moments with my new husband, my family and friends, but also keeping a check on time to make sure that things flowed smoothly to get all the shots we wanted with our guests. After the wedding, he met us on the beach to take additional pictures. He was willing to take as much time as we wanted. My husband and I were both pleased and surprised that we received all of the pictures he took on cds, not just the ones that he thought were best. We constantly receive compliments on our wedding pictures and never hesitate to recommend him to others. Ray, thank you for capturing so many special moments that day. The pictures are priceless to us.

Ray Baca did an amazing job, we could not have asked for a better photographer. He was very flexible and listened to what we asked of him. Ray took our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and he was great! He strikes a great balance between some artsy pictures and lots of pictures to capture the moments. We are EXTREMELY happy with our pictures!!! He is also a great person and takes time to get to know each couple. As a result, it's easy to feel comfortable with him, which makes the pictures better - especially the engagement pictures.

After viewing my wedding photos by one of Ray's photographers, I was happy with the overall package of them capturing my wedding day. I wish that they would have taken more photos of my husband and me that were a little more formal. We hardly have any of just the two of us.

I think the cost of the package we chose was reasonable.

Ray is prompt, at times, when responding to questions.

One thing that I wish could have been done that might have helped with photos the day of the wedding is I think the photographer should have visited the site of the ceremony/reception to have an idea of what he was shooting the day of the wedding. In corresponding with Ray prior to the wedding, it was disappointing that he didn't offer this. I think it would have been helpful and appreciated.

DO NOT Make The Mistake We Did Choosing Ray

Having worked in the planning industry; when it was time for my daughter to wed, I chose Ray Baca Photography especially as he was a friend to my daughter. What could go wrong- right? Well all went well in taking the photos except my daughter could not get a bridal portrait scheduled so Ray agreed to trade getting the negatives for an additional $300 even though he didn’t have to do the bridal shoot and he only wanted Cash! So I agreed. The wedding was in Aug of 2013 and he is still refusing to let me buy my daughters wedding photos. He won’t return calls or emails or texts. A daughters wedding happens once and he’s stolen the memories of all the photos except the original packet we ordered. I have no idea why he’s being a jerk and there has been no reason for him to do this to us. I just don’t want it to happen to another mother or bride.
