Rick was amazing from the time we met him. His energy was unbelievable and he had that same energy the entire time during our wedding. Our guests even came up to us asking where we found Rick. I would highly highly recommend Rick and his Staff! He kept the party going all night and definitely super easy to work with. We could joke and talk with Rick as if we have known him for years. Rick did a great job making sire everything was the way I wanted it. Every song choice feom down the isle to reception was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have hoped for it to go any other way. If you are unsure what to do, DO THE PHOTOBOMB GAME. You will have so much fun, my husband and I, our guests and camera crew all loved it! We had a blast, would definigely reccomend Rick Bean.

We met Rick at a wedding expo and immediately knew we wanted to hire him for our wedding. He was so personable, answered every question we had (and more), and joked around with us. I could tell he knew how to keep a party going, which was exactly what we were looking for. In Rick's own words, "I'm a performer," and he really is! He answered every single question we had (and we had many!) promptly and with as much explanation as possible. He was very clear with what he could offer us, was very flexible but also wasn't afraid to give us his opinion as a seasoned professional. If you book with B & B, you will have the best night ever, and if you book with Rick specifically, take his advice. He won't steer you wrong! We seriously could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, he was absolutely amazing - he kept the energy high, the dance floor packed, and the vibe exactly what we had hoped for.
He was the perfect mix of professional, hilarious, and engaging, and truly made the night unforgettable.
One of the things we loved most was how well he got our guests involved. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and just having the best time — and so much of that was because of his energy and presence. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night (and even after!) to say how incredible he was and how much fun they had.
The photobooth was also a huge hit! People couldn't get enough of it, and the fact that it had a video message option was such a unique and special touch.
It gave our guests a way to leave sweet (and hilarious!) messages that we'll cherish forever.
And if you're still wondering just how good he is - let's just say several of my bridesmaids took his business cards for their own weddings. If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does!
We're so grateful to have had him as part of our big day. 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to throw an unforgettable party!

DJ Rick and his team made our wedding day go so smoothly, we were expecting some rain on our big day and had our ceremony outside but he and his team were flexible and able to set up quickly where we had a pocket of no rain. This guy will rock your world any way you want him to. We got married in June 2025. We felt really strongly about our music choices but our enthusiasm was more than matched when we talked to DJ Rick. From the moment I talked to Rick on the phone I knew I was going to book him! He is just a fun ball of positive energy! My wedding was 8/9/25 and he absolutely rock it! I loved him, all of my guest loved him! He knows how to get a crowd going! From the ceremony music, to cock tail hour music to the reception music he nailed it. He kept the guest entertained, had the perfect mixture of music that entertained all of my guest from all different generations! He goes over every little detail with you about the wedding to make sure it’s exactly how you want it! I first met DJ Rick at a local wedding show nearly two years before our big day, back when we had just gotten engaged and were starting to plan. His personality immediately stood out—fun, energetic, and so easy to talk to. I just had a gut feeling he was the one for our wedding, even before we had a venue or a date! Fast forward a bit, we saw him again at another wedding expo after booking our venue, and before I could even say anything, my fiancé turned to me and said, “That’s him!” We were both sold.

There was even a surprise song I wanted to incorporate into our ceremony, which seemed impossible to pull off given the setup… but he made it happen flawlessly. That moment ended up being so special and memorable for my husband and our guests—it was perfect.
On the day of the wedding, DJ Rick was on point with everything. He handled every request with ease, kept the energy high all night, and made sure every moment felt seamless. Our family and friends are still raving about him, and honestly, our celebration wouldn't have been the same without him.
His packages were also super reasonable, and we loved that we could bundle in extras like uplighting and a photo booth. And as a bonus—he’s an Eagles fan, which made him an even better fit for our crew!

We hired Rick for our September 2024 wedding, and he did a wonderful job! He kept guests on the dance floor all night long, and did a great job MCing our event and helping us orchestrate several performances. We planned special entrances for each member of the bridal party, a surprise choreographed dance, and multiple speeches which he handled with ease. He also brought great lighting and photobooth, which was a hit with the guests. His prices were very reasonable while still delivering high quality service. Choosing Rick Bean for our wedding day was the best decision ever. When every other vendor gave me last minute headaches, Rick was the one guy I did not have to worry about for a second. He was helpful in getting my itinerary down to the minute, he helped me envision the day from every perspective. Rick never made me feel like I was a burden when I had questions and he was diligent in communicating with me. If I had it to do again, I would hire him without hesitation.

Rick was very reasonably priced and we were very happy with his services. From the moment we first chatted I knew he was a seasoned DJ with years of experience. We paid $1600 for 4 hours of music and 3 hours with their photo booth. The photobooth was ran by his son and was open air so it was nice for some of our handicap folks. He was very responsive any time I reached out with questions. He had us fill out an info sheet with all of the names and songs he was announcing. He made sure we went over the timeline and overall made our night run as smoothly as possible. Would absolutely book him again

My husband and I were married in July 2024, and had the absolute pleasure to work with Rick. He was incredible! He was fun, energetic, and really helped us coordinate our ceremony and reception. We met Rick at the Allentown Wedding Expo. He was an absolute riot! We connected so quickly and knew he was the DJ for us. He is professional and personable, absolutely hilarious, and knows exactly what he's doing. Even when we had our own visions, he gave us his ideas that he thought would be better but also was open to if we still wanted our original vision. His goal was to make our day the best day ever no matter what. He picked on some of our guests which was hilarious and he even let my flower girl sing Let It Go into the microphone. We will continue to stay in touch with Rick because he's just that awesome. His helpers for the photo booth were also amazing!!

Roth wedding

Sept 28 Wedding
After I was first engaged, I met Rick at a bridal show and immediately knew he was the man for the job ! We wanted an Emcee, a professional, someone reasonably priced and who would handle all the details so I didn't have to make a playlist.
Rick was all of that over the two years time we planned our wedding. He knew exactly how best timing for "all the things", he worked withy venue and coordinator regarding set up since we weren't sure how the outside ceremony would work and even in the rain everything went swimmingly.
The power went out during dinner and once the generator kicked in he was up ana running again!
He was amazing to our audience, played fun games, and we even got all the photos and video of the photo booth before the end of the evening.
If I were to do it all again I'd pick him in a heart beat. And even for anything else that we may need on the future.
He even drove up to me in Hawley PA from Reading which is a hike ! He got a long with my photography team and they worked together as if they knew each other for years.
Aside from the professionalism, he's just an all around nice guy who wants you to have your best wedding!
I cannot say it enough - thank you to Rick and your team for making this one part of my day one of the easy ones.
Also he did play the Eagles fight song as I asked as a surprise for my husband!

Rick made this experience so easy with no stress. He reached out about two weeks in advance to let me have time for final decisions and talked me through everything to make sure our day was perfect. From phone call to in person the day of, Rick performed like he had practiced our special day 1000 times with us! He is very flexible to last minute changes and I could not ask for a better DJ. Where do we start!! I can only describe Rick as our lifelong DJ because he is! He was our DJ when we married in 97, and he was the DJ for our Son and Daughter in law this past weekend. We had our wedding on 10/22/23 and it wouldn't have been an amazing wedding without DJ Rick. He was very enthusiastic, friendly, energetic , and got the wedding guests to get up and dance. DJ Rick cared about our music needs/picks and played the songs we requested and what our guests requested. He is very communicative and professional when It came to planning our music list. We had our wedding this past December and could not be happier with choosing Rick from B&B Light and Sound. He was one of the more affordable options, being we received his service, as well as a Photo Booth AND up lighting which really made the night! We had scheduled multiple calls with us to assure the night ran smoothly. We had a few performances (dancers and singers), as well as slide shows for some of our first dances and he didn’t miss a beat. It didn’t seem like any of the guests left the dance floor all night long. We had multiple guests approaching us to compliment him, one future bride even got his info that night. A night to remember
B&B Light and Sound was professional and organized throughout the process. He chose great music! Anniversary Party Was A BLAST
I threw a surprise 40th anniversary for my parents and waited a little too long to contact vendors. B&B was very responsive and was able to accommodate my party. Couldn't be happier!
Rick was the only DJ that called to speak with me when I was shopping around. He is so personable and laid back! He made sure to follow up with me in the days leading up to the wedding to make sure that we were on the same page and that things went off without a hitch. My guests danced all night and Rick was the perfect MC! Couldn't recommend him more!

From the initial conversation, the many questions I had, to the day of the wedding, Rick was simply fantastic!! He made our day something from a fairy tale just by doing what he does best!! I got so many calls after my wedding from my guests telling me about how beautiful my wedding was and how awesome my DJ was!! I would recommend him to everyone!!! He played the best music, kept the party going, and was surprised by the anniversary dance couples ( there were 3 couples left and the song was over, 50 yrs, 56 yrs, 60 yrs)!!

Rick was wonderful! He engaged our guests and made our daughter’s wedding fun for everyone! We also chose the photo booth option which I highly recommend. It was fun for guests and now our son in law and daughter have a great keepsake from the night.

The Best in The Business
We met with one DJ and one DJ only in planning our wedding and that was Rick. He has such a captivating personality that you felt like you have known him for years. He made the whole process so seamless and easy on us. At our event, he was super professional and all of the songs he played were hits with both our dancing and non-dancing friends and family. Cannot recommend Rick and his crew enough.

Rick Bean is the best DJ around!!! I would recommend him to any couple who wants to have an incredibly amazing experience void of stress because he makes you his first priority!!! I would book him over and over again!! Also loved the Photo Booth experience!!!!

Great DJ, best value
Best DJ ever! Super easy to work with, absolutely best value for money, kept the party going and was able to read the room! We danced all night and had multiple guests comment how wonderful the DJ was.

Rick was referred to us by our venue's preffered vendors list and we were so very pleased. Within the 14 months of planning our wedding I discovered he was performing at 2 other of my friends weddings. He is crowd pleaser and knows every corner of the business. Cannot recommend him enough

Amazing wedding DJ!
Rick was a fantastic DJ at our wedding! He was very responsive and helpful through out the wedding planning process. Our friends had a lot of song requests and he played every single one, even if he wasn’t familiar with it. He was super upbeat and the dance floor was packed the entire night! Our friends kept telling us we had the best wedding DJ they’ve heard so far. Definitely consider booking Rick and his team for your wedding needs!

Energetic DJ
Rick was incredible and did a fantastic job, we're so happy that we hired him for our New Years Eve Wedding. We even rented uplights from him which made our reception look more wintery. He managed the reception and kept people on the dance floor all night until the new year. He worked really well with our photographer. We especially liked how he incorporated the Spanish music at the right time. If your looking for an up beat hype DJ for your event don't think twice.

Amazing Wedding DJ
Rick absolutely rocked it as our wedding DJ! He was responsive to all of our requests, offered input when appropriate, and always made us feel like he was there to make our event special. We had very specific requests for our cocktail hour and reception music and Rick made both playlists come to life. He was a lively emcee and spoke just enough to entertain guests, but his skills as a DJ are what made the event fly by. Our dance floor was full the entire night thanks to Rick!

Best Surprise
Rick Bean is without a doubt the best hidden gem. Let me preface properly. Rick is ridiculously underpriced. Out of all the quotes I received, his was the lowest by several hundred dollars. Of course, given our venue, there was a slight concern due to the price and whether or not he would match the quality of the venue. Without a doubt, during our day, he was the absolute consummation of professionalism and personalization. He was able to get both the young and old in our crowd to dance, laugh, and enjoy themselves. It is without a question in my mind that without Rick, our wedding genuinely would not have been nearly as elegant or enjoyable as it was. He is easily the best value, and I am so thankful that we chose him. I have (and will) easily recommend him to anyone as his versatility is phenomenal. Thank you, Rick!!!

Rick and his team are fantastic! He was more then just a DJ. He made our wedding fun and his enthusiasm made our guest want to get up and dance. Rick was always readily available and answered all of my questions within 24 hours. He even picked up the phone just to make sure my vision was understood and there was no confusion. He has a passion for what he does and it shows. His sense of humor and laugh is also contagious. I’d hire him again and again.

Wedding DJ and photo booth
Rick was great! He was very responsive and helped us with timing of the wedding songs, which was extremely helpful! He had different types of music available for all age ranges. He was open to requests, which my guests loved. If he didn't have a song, he found it. The photo booth was an added bonus! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

I called around to multiple DJs and Rick was the ONLY one that was hype and had that outgoing DJ attitude on the phone (which is exactly what you want!) He gave me all my wishes that I asked for and even through in some games of his own to make my reception even more fun! His advice was excellent, he is very responsive, decent pricing and everyone had the best time at my wedding dancing and having a great time. Thank you so much Rick!
