The best of the best!
Aya Productions are AMAZING!. Our pictures and video are beyond what we ever expected. The wedding day goes by so fast and and you are left with pictures and videos to remind you of how beautiful your day was.. Aya Productions captured that and more!!! Their editing style is timeless and the quality of pictures is SO GOOD. As a person who shy's away from the camera, they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. I always knew we would invest in our photography and videography but they solidified how important it actually is now that the wedding has passed.. every time we look at the video and pictures, we are right back to the best day of our lives.
They also know how to bring the party to life!!!! Our guest can not stop raving about them!! We have so much love for this husband-wife duo and I know you will too! -

I just can't say enough good things about Aya Productions. Have them photograph our elopement was the best decision ever. I've never seen photos with better quality, and Tamao was so good at letting us express and celebrate our love while setting up the photos to look amazing and celebrating with us! Tamao helped us so so much with picking out vendors and navigating our planning leading up to our elopement. I cannot believe how talented they are, and they edited so fast. They are literally the most kind and loving people ever- so fitting to have at your big day to celebrate love! You are totally missing out if you don't go with Aya!!! -

Wow!! Husband and wife duo! Let me tell you, they are absolutely Amazing! Genuinely beautiful humans and there work is off the charts!! I am so thankful I found them! It was well worth the wait to get all of our wedding photos and video back! We have these gorgeous photos and videos to look back on for the rest of our lives. -

Look no further. Best photographers ever.
We were totally lost and going crazy trying to figure out wedding plans for a covid wedding, and then I met Tomao (over the phone of course). She addressed our concerns about traveling to Hawaii, calmed our fears, and helped we us realize our dream of a getting married in Kauai. On our wedding day, her and Matt were extremely helpful, accommodating, and very professional. They made feel comfortable and the cameras disappeared. This was a HUGE win because my husband usually turns pink and stiff in front of a camera. They coached us the whole time, played music, and encouraged our love to be seen through the lens. We loved that they were a hubby & wife team! They worked together so well too, so efficient, kind to one another, and encouraging of us. Best of all, our wedding video and pictures authentically captured forevermore. Literally everyone, including acquaintances, that watch the wedding video cries, it’s THAT good. I cannot stress this enough, if you are lucky enough to hire Tomao and Matt for your wedding/special day get the video, you will cherish it always and forever. My deepest appreciation for Tomao & Matt for capturing the best moments of our wedding day. -

These guys are fantastic. Our wedding was cancelled last minute and they helped us plan our dream elopement in less than a week! They took us to some incredible local spots we never would’ve found on our own. Everything about our elopement day was magical, and we cannot thank these guys enough -

I can't say enough amazing things about our experience with Tamao and Matt. Not only was the video incredible and everything we hoped for, the journey along the way was equally as perfect. Anytime you spend a lot of money on a service you want to make sure it's worth the cost, especially as everything little thing adds up with weddings. I can say without a doubt that it's worth every penny. They are extremely talented but the best part is that you can tell they love what they do and they truly care about their clients best interest. Those 3 combinations are the perfect recipe for an EPIC wedding video you will never forget. If you're on the fence because it's an added expense and you're thinking you might be happy with just photos... put that to rest and at least take a look at their portfolio and chat with them! -

Best experience! - highly recommend!
WOW, WOW, WOW. I am going write a short review first with my lengthy review underneath (for some who want quick reviews and some who like detailed reviews because Tamao really deserves both!).
Quick hits review:
Tamao was an absolute delight to work / collaborate with! She was extremely responsive, very kind and patient when helping us decide where to shoot and so flexible with her schedule!
I have never done a professional photo shoot before where I am the center of attention and where it is so intimate, but she put us such ease! I was really nervous and started to completely freeze during the shoot but somehow she was able to perfectly capture the two of us!
Her prices are also reasonable compared to a few other photographers I reached out to with her similar style of photo shoots. I highly highly recommend Tamao!
Detailed Review:
I reached out to Tamao a week before Christmas asking if she by chance had any openings for a week after Christmas over the New Year (to do a wedding photo shoot).
She was so responsive and so patient! She was able to fit us in over the holiday time (which I really appreciate she fit us in so last minute). I annoyingly ask a million questions and since I had never been to Kauai, I was overwhelmed with locations for the photoshoot. We really wanted to capture the sunrise or sunset so she provided two great options laying out pros and cons to both. We originally decided to do the sunrise location. However, the day before the photos, I asked if there was any way she could change to the other sunset location and this was literally within 24 hour notice. She said it was absolutely no problem!
She was a complete professional! I thought my husband would be really awkward because he is extremely camera shy and I thought frankly I would be much more natural because I take a lot of photos (and a lot of photos with my friends), but I froze! I don't know why but I just froze during our photos and was so nervous! She totally put me at ease!
She was so friendly and kind, extremely professional and honestly just really an awesome person in general. I say she is awesome as a person because she went out of her way to send me lengthy descriptive texts of suggested places to go and dine at AFTER the shoot was done.
I learned that "Aloha" means so much more than just hello or goodbye. Aloha really means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. The word Aloha really does perfectly describe Tamao (and her daughter who accompanied her and was also just so sweet).
The photos came out so wonderfully! Since I asked her to squeeze us in last minute over holidays, I thought it would be weeks and weeks before I got the photos back (and I was willing to be patient), but she reached out less than 2 weeks later that the photos were ready! Since I eloped, my biggest decision to make was the photographer and I am SO happy I went with my gut instinct and went with Tamao! Her prices are extremely reasonable (I had reached out to a few other photographers). I highly highly recommend her!!! If you have the budget, I would look into booking her and her husband for videography! I did not book it because we eloped, but her wedding videos (on insta) look amazing! Stop reading anymore reviews and reach out to her and her husband already!!

Tamao and Matt (Aya Productions) are absolutely amazing! The beauty in their work speaks for itself, so look no further if top quality is your priority. What’s most impressive, however, is the love and aloha that they share with their clients. My wife and I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting them in person until just minutes before our wedding ceremony at The Beach House (March 2019), but thanks to their kindness, professionalism, and comforting direction, we immediately felt as though they were our longtime friends. As a husband and wife team, their chemistry together is quickly noticeable, and it was more than obvious that they truly love what they do. They were an absolute joy to be around, and in the end our wedding videos (teaser + full-length) far exceeded our expectations! We couldn’t be more grateful to Aya Productions for documenting our special day with so much aloha! Much love Xoxo -

Worth every penny!
We were hesitant on getting having a video of our ceremony (and afterwards done). I am so glad we decided to go through it. A super cute husband and wife duo, they make an amazing team. What I thought was going to be awkward, they made so incredibly fun and special. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the video was when we got it. I have watched it a million times. You can tell so much effort and thought goes into detail and they do an amazing job. Very talented! Don’t for one second try to talk yourself out of doing this! You will not regret it. -

Photos don't even compare to the true beauty of the experience
We booked an adventure shoot and wedding video package with Tamao & Matt and WOWOW it was worth every penny. Not only do they take you to the coolest spots to get the best footage, Tamao & Matt are so much fun to shoot with. They're an amazing husband and wife team who work in sync to make sure you are looking and feeling 100% in your photos. Tamao and Matt are so much fun to shoot with, they have no problem showing you exactly what to do, where to walk, pose, move, etc. Plus they're so encouraging and fun to be around, no matter how awkward you are initially feeling :) They took us on the most beautiful look out and gave us beautiful photos/videos and memories to last a lifetime. If you're getting married on Kauai I highly recommend booking with them. -

I cannot recommend Matt & Tamao with Aya Productions enough! They are a power house couple that works tirelessly to capture the magic of your special day. These two always spend extra time making sure they get the right shot and edit the final version to perfection. They are both a joy to be around as well. They helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Very grateful for Aya. The photos and videos are literally priceless. -
