Everything I Imagined!
Ariel was recommended to me and she was exceptional! I contacted her about photographing our courthouse ceremony. We really wanted to keep it simple and she matched our fun and simple energy while still embracing the moment and capturing the beauty of it. She was kind, fun, and professional. Ariel communicated with me quickly and thoughtfully about the experience. I cannot say enough good things! She came prepared for rain with cute umbrellas and really worked a misty, cloudy day into the most beautiful winter pictures. She was flexible with my requests and fun to work with. She had excellent ideas for poses which made me feel so beautiful and captured who we are as a couple. Ariel absolutely captured our day in the way my imagination had envisioned, making small logistical details of a courthouse ceremony standout and look precious. I highly recommend working with her! -

I truly do not know where to begin. Ariel was a true dream to work with from start to finish and I’m jealous of future couples who choose to hire her as their photographer for their big day! Her style is bright, beautiful, and we are truly amazed with how our photos came out. She has such a creative vision and is a natural at finding the best spots for pictures. We got married on 12.27.25 and by 12.30.25 she sent us 77 photos as a preview!!!! She is prompt, reliable, professional, genuine, and all around so much more than a photographer. On our wedding day, she was my number one hype girl, a huge support, always fixing my dress and checking in on what we needed/how she could help, great with our bridal party and families, and all around a true joy. I do not even know where to begin when speaking about Ariel Grondin. It feels like words could never do her justice. When I was looking for photographers to capture my wedding, all I kept seeing were dim lit photos, dark tones, and moody captures. None of them felt like us. As soon as I saw her work I knew she was the perfect fit. Her photos were bright, beautiful, and captured joy in the exact way we were looking for. First, we did our engagement shoot. We got to know her and share a lot about ourselves and how we like to laugh and have fun. She didn't judge us for wanting to have a goofy photo shoot also and she was so supportive. She seemed genuinely excited to work with us. The photos came out perfect. On our wedding day, she was so much more than a photographer. She was an emotional support system, a cheerleader, a wardrobe tech, and everything in between. As if that wasn't enough already...her photos were pure magic. We got a 57 photo preview days after our wedding and we cried looking at them. She captured every moment, emotional, feeling, so beautifully. It put us right back in those moments that felt like magic. We cannot wait to get the full gallery back and relive the most awe-inspiring, stunning day of our lives over and over again. How do I even begin to describe how amazing Ariel is?! We found Ariel through a friend who hired her for their wedding, and as soon as we saw those photos, I knew we had to have her as our own photographer. I wanted a winter engagement shoot and Ariel took us all around Boston for an afternoon in freezing cold, icy weather, and she didn’t complain once. After she left, my fiancé and I both said we felt like we just hung out with a friend for an hour. She totally put us at ease and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day, it was 40 degrees and rained the entire day. Ariel brought a whole case of clear umbrellas for us to use and took some absolutely magical shots of us outside. She stood out in the rain without cover and didn’t complain once! She was totally efficient with our time and got all of our portraits done quickly. We got so many compliments from guests on how friendly she and her second shooter, Katie, were, offering to take photos of guests during cocktail hour. She was also so good at providing direction to make sure everyone looked their best. She sent us our preview album in two days which we were totally not expecting, and the photos are BEYOND my expectations. She captured all the details I cared so much about, caught such pure emotion in all of the photos, and made everyone look so beautiful. I can’t believe these are only the previews, I cannot wait to see the rest! If I can offer one piece of advice as you’re planning your wedding, it’s to hire Ariel as your photographer. -

From the beginning, Ariel was an absolute dream to work with. Her professionalism, organization, and attention to detail stood out immediately. She ensured that every moment of the day flowed seamlessly and made sure we got all the shots we had requested—and then some. Her calm and friendly demeanor kept us at ease, even in the most hectic moments, and she helped make our day run smoothly.
What truly amazed us was how unobtrusive Ariel and her second photographer were during the ceremony and reception. They captured every moment beautifully, yet their presence was so subtle that we barely noticed they were there. This allowed us to stay fully immersed in our celebration while knowing everything was being documented perfectly.

We cannot recommend Ariel enough! After looking through portfolios of probably 30+ different photographers, Ariel really stood out for her highlights of color and her ability to capture candid emotions throughout the wedding day, in addition to great posed portraits. We aren’t exactly naturals in front of the camera, so in addition to portraits, we were looking for these candid moments for ourselves, as well as our guests, to remember the feel of the day. Furthermore, our wedding had both outdoor and indoor elements in the day and evening, with our reception being in a city restaurant. We were mindful of photographers who shot equally well in both, which Ariel and her second shooter, Katie, most definitely did! Finally, there’s a lot to be said about being a very efficient shooter. We’ve been in weddings where portraits take quite some time, which lengthens the timeline of the day before the party. Ariel and her team managed to shoot getting ready photos in 2 locations (hotel for the bride, our apartment for the groom), all couple, family, and bridal party portraits at a park elsewhere in the city of Cambridge, and back to the hotel for a Chinese Tea Ceremony before the official ceremony, in less than 2 hours. It was nothing short of miraculous! Don’t hesitate to book Ariel to document your fun and joyful day! -

Ariel was exactly the type of photographer we were looking for when booking our wedding! We were looking for someone who can capture a vibrant and colorful theme for our engagement and wedding photos, and she absolutely did not disappoint! Our planning emails and meetings were thorough. She was able to capture all the shots we wanted in an efficient manner that allowed us plenty of time to enjoy our cocktail hour and reception. Neither of us know how to pose but she was able to give us a great range of poses that resulted in amazing photos we will forever cherish. Her attention to detail was impeccable, from fixing hair and dresses in between shots to capturing all the small yet significant moments of our big day. Lastly, Ariel was genuinely kind and supportive throughout the entire process, from planning to delivery, which we truly appreciated and will never forget. From the moment we met Ariel at our engagement session, I knew we made a perfect choice for our wedding photographer. Not only is her photography and editing style amazing, but she is also an incredible person. Meeting her for the first time felt like meeting up with an old friend. Any nerves we had about feeling awkward or wondering how to pose or what to do with my face immediately dissipated thanks to Ariel, and the pictures turned out incredible. And then when our wedding day came along, she helped the day run smoothly by being efficient while still being fun. I’ve never liked having my photos taken, but having Ariel (and our second shooter, Chloe) by our side that day helped me to enjoy every moment. We found Ariel because two of our friends had worked with her for their weddings and we got to see first hand how amazing she was. Ariel was the first vendor I booked after we found our venue, I actually reached out before we even booked the venue to confirm what days she was available ahead of time to make sure I was able to work with her! She was hands down the best vendor and best decision we made.
We first spent time with her during our engagement shoot which happened to be so cold and windy! She made the whole process so stress free, and even made it fun while we were freezing our butts off!
Fast forward to the wedding - leading up to it she made everything SO easy. From helping us put together a timeline, to arriving with umbrellas for the unprecedented weather - Ariel was amazing to work with. I had a massive photo list.. and she did such an amazing job at making sure we captured all of them throughout the night. I didn’t ever have to worry about a thing! We also snuck out to the beach with her during the reception to get some direct flash champagne pop pics, and to do this their some of favorite pictures of the night! ♥️ My whole bridal party was complimenting how much they loved Ariel. She was so fun to work with, had such good photo ideas, was so patient with all of us, and captured so many unforgettable moments!!
The next day she sent us A TON of sneak peaks! It was the best feeling being able to relive the night and talk about all the fun memories we made. When we got all the pics back, I was overwhelmed with the amount of moments she captured. It was everything I could have asked for and more from a wedding photographer. And to top it all off, she sent us a beautiful personalized keepsake box with a USB of our photos. BOOK ARIEL!!!

My best vendor
Absolute magic. No other words. From our engagement shoot to our 190 person wedding, Ariel was extremely talented, professional, and fun. She made us feel like we’ve known her forever and felt so comfortable in front of the camera because of it. She also basically doubled as a wedding coordinator when we had some last minute chaos due to weather. Her prices are extremely reasonable considering what she does and on top of everything, the pics are breathtaking. I can’t gush enough. She’s the best vendor we had. -

We had Ariel for 9 hours and she was truly amazing! I was not a super go with the flow bride and really organized everything in a particular way and she did a great job following timeline and requested photos! She was such a positive person to help throughout the stressful wedding day. There were a lot of things I’d change about my day if I could go back but Ariel is not one of them. She was perfect! If you are considering Ariel to photograph your wedding, stop looking – she is the BEST. Her style is magazine-worthy (a frequent comment from those who have seen the photos she sent us after the wedding); she captures natural light and color gorgeously! In the year and a half that we worked with Ariel, from our initial meeting over Zoom to our engagement photoshoot to our actual wedding day and all the communication in between, we never doubted that we were in good hands. On the day of the wedding, we had a gusty first look – and an extra-uneven wedding party due to one of my bridesmaids being out with COVID – and Ariel didn’t skip a beat. The photos where the gauze of my dress is flying around my husband and I are now some of my favorites! Ariel is organized, dedicated, and communicative, and beyond that, she is a sweet and supportive presence who deftly guided us through the evening. Her second shooter, Christa, was phenomenal as well (thanks for putting up with the boys, Christa!). We spent the majority of the first few days of our honeymoon ogling over the sneak peek photos she shared…the day after we got married (she also edited and shared two while we were still on the dance floor that night!). We feel so lucky that we found her – there is no doubt her career is going to skyrocket. We consider her a friend and keep joking that we have to get married again so we can hang out with her more! Hiring a photographer was the biggest decision we made for our wedding. We knew we wanted someone with a cheerful, colorful, candid photography style; someone who could capture the love and excitement of the day in a really authentic and beautiful way. We knew the really washed out, highlighted style wasn't for us, nor was the really dark, moody aesthetic that seems popular right now. When we found Ariel's portfolio, we were immediately in love. Then we met Ariel and it was a done deal. Not only does she have a great eye for the perfect shots but she works with a level of care that is unparalleled. She is organized, professional, a thoughtful listener, easily our most responsive vendor, and a joy to spend time with! (Don't underestimate the importance of a photographer you like as a person - you're going to spend a lot of time with them during your wedding!) We felt so comfortable with Ariel, it was easy to pose for all the photos. We also were surprised to find how much we LOVED our engagement photos, as we initially didn't put too much importance on them. So happy with our decision!
Ariel was one of the first vendors we booked and we are so happy we did! Booking the photographer was particularly nerve-wracking for me because I knew I'd prefer to support a small business but while searching on Instagram for local photographers, the pricing could get very steep and was afraid waiting would let all the good ones get snatched up! Ariel delivered absolutely stunning photos that captured our day perfectly, even for a couple that would describe themselves as camera shy. She made us comfortable and took our opinions if any pose seemed unnatural for us. The family and wedding party photos were so well organized that we even finished ahead of time before cocktail hour had started! Finally, all communication with Ariel throughout was a breeze and we got our pictures back even sooner than expect. She is so kind, professional, and talented! -

Ariel is absolutely incredible. She was hands-down the best vendor we booked. We booked her for our July 2022 wedding and she was a guiding light in our otherwise chaotic post-covid wedding planning experience. She is an amazing photographer and friend and is a breath of fresh air in the wedding industry. She made our wedding day so special and captured it perfectly. She is easy to work with and is very professional.
We absolutely love all of our engagement and wedding photos. Every single photo is perfect, she can bring out everyone's best angles/sides. Her photography style is stunning. Many of my bridesmaids have indicated that they plan to hire Ariel (or those who have already had weddings or have already booked vendors are devastated they can't go with her)! My husband and I have joked that we need to renew our vows soon just to have an excuse for Ariel to photograph us again! -

Ariel was a dream to work with for our engagement shoot! She was fun, creative, passionate, and incredibly knowledgable. My fiance isn't a big picture person, but he was blown away with how easy and fun Ariel made the entire experience. We are also absolutely obsessed with how our photos came out! I would recommend Ariel a million times over
We booked Ariel for our October wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She did both an engagement shoot and our wedding photos for us and we got so many amazing photos. She was so easy to work with and a ton of fun. It was the first time we'd had professional photos done and she helped us open up and relax. Our final photo collection from the wedding day had over 1,300 edited photos. We love every single one. Ariel's pricing so so reasonable, especially given the quality and quantity of photos we received. I would seriously recommend Ariel for your wedding photographer. You won't be disappointed. -

Ariel was a fantastic choice! Where do I even begin?! My husband and I live out of state but are both from MA, and Ariel was super accommodating from the get-go. Some big highlights: great communication, made it easy for us to schedule our engagement photo shoot during the small window that we were in town, the quick turnaround for incredible sneak peaks, beautiful photos (December engagement shoot and August wedding), easy-to-access galleries, and AMAZINGLY organized on the wedding day making it easy to get every shot on our shot-list and beyond (shoutout to her second-shooter too!). The album and keepsake box that she takes the time to put together is a beautiful and thoughtful touch too!! Planning a wedding from afar had plenty of struggles, but Ariel was a breath of fresh air! :D -

Ariel has a wonderful energy about her. Normally we don't take a ton of pictures of ourselves, and Ariel made us feel really comfortable. She guided the session while still letting us get what we wanted, and the pictures she's already provided (the same day!) Are even better than we imagined. Absolutely phenomenal, comfortable and perfect!
If you're looking for a photographer to make you feel comfortable, to have fun, capture great candids and such a variety of locations and poses, Ariel is your girl. She is absolutely PHENOMENAL. When I saw my engagement and then wedding photos, let me tell you, I was SPEECHLESS and I CRIED!!! I was so in love with every single photo. 6 months after my wedding I am STILL obsessed with my photos. She makes you feel so comfortable and has poses and ideas in mind. My husband HATES photos and he had a blast with Ariel. He told me he will never let anyone else other than Ariel photograph our family. I can go on and on about how amazing Ariel is but one last thing I will say is, you will not regret booking her and she is absolutely worth it. -

Couldn't have asked for anyone better!
Ariel was an amazing person to work with, from beginning and beyond the end of our wedding planning/day. She started off by introducing herself via zoom to talk us through her process, packages, and answer any questions before booking. After meeting Ariel we knew she was going to be the photographer we wanted on our wedding day.
She braved a colder April day for our engagement shoot, and recommended Harkness Memorial park which was scenic, versatile, and perfect for our first session together. She met our dog who would later be our "groomsdog". She helped us the time leading up to the wedding creating a shot list and timeline.
She got beautiful photos from start to finish of our wedding day! The second shooter, Dory, did a great job working with the guys for their prep time and throughout the ceremony/reception too. Ariel is extremely timely with all communication and with getting you your photos - from the "sneak peak", to the full gallery, and the albums she created for us and our parents/grandparents. Since our wedding we continue to hear from family and friends how impressed they are with how active she was getting photos all day/night, and how amazing they all are! We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer! -

I don’t have to tell you that wedding planning is incredibly stressful. Take some of that stress off your plate by choosing Ariel as your photographer. A photographer friend referred us to her and we had such an incredible experience.
Not only did she beautifully capture all of our favorite moments, but she also put us at ease from our very first conversation. She may look young, but she has it together. The booking process was uncomplicated and we were able set up auto-pay for our payments (one less payment to remember!). She always responded quickly to emails and texts and was super flexible when we asked to change the location of our engagement shoot at the last minute due to a thunderstorm. Despite cloudy skies, Ariel brought so much energy to our shoot and really took the time to get to know us as a couple.
On our wedding day, she and her assistant brought the same energy, flexibility, and ease. The bridesmaids and I were a little behind getting ready and she jumped right in to lend a hand steaming dresses. My husband and I think it’s funny to take pictures posed like the painting American Gothic. Ariel and her assistant scoured the property to find not one, but two pitchforks for us to pose with. It was such a special touch that totally made our day.
As with all weddings, we had small things that didn’t go as planned, but Ariel’s pictures made our day look flawless. Despite insane humidity and both of our chaotic families ignoring every instruction, she was so professional and accommodating. She also took a few photos on my mom’s phone and sent us couple of her professional shots that same night, so we could share them with my relatives from Germany who couldn’t be there for the wedding.
Ariel got us a sneak peek album within a couple weeks of our wedding, sent us the full album about a month after that, and also included a beautiful box with a stack of prints and a flash drive with all of our photos. From start to finish, Ariel was professional, attentive to detail, and frankly downright awesome. I couldn’t be happier with our pictures and the ease that she brought to a really stressful time.

Ariel was awesome for our wedding day! She made sure to get every shot we had on our shot list in a timely fashion and made sure it was done RIGHT. The day went so smoothly that we were even ahead of schedule, which is almost unheard of on a wedding day. I got a couple sneak peek pictures back the next day and we were just filled with joy to relive everything after the day had gone by so quickly. The entire album came back a few weeks later and everything was just perfect. So many members of my family commented how we had found the perfect photographer for our style as a couple. I absolutely cherish all our photos and still find myself gazing at them months later! Everything from start to finish was great and I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married in the New England area. -

Where to start?! Ariel was the first vendor that we booked for our 150+ person backyard upscale tent wedding in Stockbridge, MA this past August and we are so lucky to have found her! Not only is she extremely talented, she is equally down to earth and personable. I felt like a friend was taking photos! She texted me one day a picture of our Zola website where it explained how we met as a couple saying she loved the story. I’m pretty sure she was the only one who actually read that and I SO APPRECIATED IT!! Do you know how much time and energy went into that website and story? It seriously made my day. That is only one example of how she goes out of her way to get to know you.
Since we live in VA, our wedding being in MA was something that was a little difficult to navigate. We wanted to take our engagement photos in MA but were on a strict timeline, as we only had a few days for vacation. Ariel’s engagement photos were stunning and we had a hard time choosing our favorites. When it came down to the wedding, Ariel scheduled a Zoom to finalize the timeline, adding her professional opinions and suggestions to make sure the photos captured everything that we were hoping for for the wedding (and, my now husband’s one request “make sure she doesn’t get a side angle of my nose”). Not only did she honor that request, her photos are beautiful and her investment is bar none compared to other photographers I had researched in the area (trust me, I researched so much I had a PowerPoint presentation so my friends and family could weigh in).
The day of the wedding Ariel and her second photographer Anna went above and beyond. I’m so excited to see the photos! She sent a sneak peak within 48 hours of >50 photos.
If you’re looking for someone to photograph anything- wedding, senior portraits, engagements, just for fun- look no further. When speaking with my day-of coordinator a few weeks before the wedding she wanted to confirm my vendors. When I stated my photographer was Ariel she said “oh, I know how to spell that. I’ve heard her name at least four times this week”... That’s your sign to book her now. You won’t regret it!

Amazing! Cannot wait to work with Ariel again!
My (now) husband and I met Ariel completely by chance at an event where she was working. She was so approachable and we immediately felt comfortable and connected to her. Long story short, Ariel has taken our photos for both our engagement and our wedding. She has been nothing but kind, cooperative, and flexible- especially with ALL of the changes that came with re-planning a wedding during COVID. Ariel made us feel important and special every step of the way- always reminding us that it was our day and these were our photos. She puts her heart into the work that she does and it truly shows. Ariel is organized and responsive, we felt confident working with her every step of the way and never once doubted that things would run smoothly. On top of everything else, her photos are STUNNING. Ariel is AMAZING! She not only shot our first small wedding (thanks Covid) but also shot our second larger wedding two months later! She went above and beyond for us!! Ariel captured our perfect weddings at a safe distance, while professionally directing the wedding party for poses, all while constantly making us laugh and smile unconditionally. Receiving the photos through email and picking the photos we wanted right from her easy to use website also made the experience perfect. I can’t wait to have more photos taken by her!
