DJ Sam was at my brother's wedding DJ 8 years before my husband and I started planning ours. From then I always knew I'd find him and have him DJ for us too! I already knew he wouldn't disappoint and he included nice touches for our reception experience we would not have thought for ourselves. His creativity to create memories according to your vision was truly valuable. Our reception was intimate, sweet, and fun. DJ Sam made sure my husband and I were fed, he kept checking up on us, and responded professionally to requests from planning until the end. I would highly recommend his services, especially the personalized package (so worth it!). Another thing I might note was how mindful Sam was with making sure cultures were represented if you and your husband have different backgrounds.
All in all, while the personalized package costs more, we did NOT have to hire a wedding planner. Sam took care of the whole evening, corresponding with our vendors, and made sure everything went smoothly. I might add that he also provided a photo booth that all my guests enjoyed and took advantage of. We also paid for the "dancing on the cloud" option which gave our first dance a very, very beautiful touch. He had his own lighting and his own DJ booth was elegant in itself. We are very happy with Awesome Music Entertainment and my whole family highly recommends him!

Sammy is amazing. Very personable and professional. He made it happen for our very important Gala. His team member Jordan was terrific. He supported our effort and added the extra finishes with music interludes that made it that much better! Our event was heavy on the program and less on the "party", but Roland made it POP with fun whenever he could. I would recommend Sammy and his team 100x over. Great job for running a great reliable service in the unpredictable climate we live in, in year 2025. It’s a big YES for Awesome Music Entertainment.

Kept the fun and energy!
Sam did a fantastic job at Praise Chapels 4th if July event! The music selection was perfect, the transitions were smooth, and the energy they brought kept the energy up.

This was our 3rd year using a DJ and the last two years were horrible. Then this year, we came across DJ Sammy with AwesomeEventPros. He is truly awesome! I sure wish we would've found him sooner, like 3 years sooner! He was so professional, and his communication and performance was outstanding and even arrived early! DJ Sammy was hands down amazing! We had our Quinceañera at HMNS and were concerned about the time and program. He scheduled a zoom meeting with us and went line by line on what was happening when and how. He sent us a link to add our selection of music and even mixed the father daughter songs for us immediately! He took my vision and brought it to life! We cried, we laughed and we had a great time! Dominican/NYC/Houston Wedding
My husband and I want to thank Sammy for everything, for doing an awesome job and for being on top of things throughout our wedding day and the months prior with the wedding planning, always able to communicate with respect and with a genuine interest in getting to know us as a couple. We appreciate it! He was very helpful and so kind to us on every single meeting we had and the day of our event, answering every question we had. We're really glad and happy that he was the one that we selected to be by our side as our DJ, on our very special and big day, with our loved ones. We could not have had someone better than Awesome Music Entertainment and Sammy. We did not have a wedding planner and during the planning process felt a little bit stressed (as it's normal for weddings), but we never felt concerned at all about Sammy's job because he gave us such peace of mind, sharing our whole day timeline and showing an important attention to details.
From the first moment we realized they are from New York City we knew we had to reach out. My husband is also from New York and we had a very Dominican wedding, celebrating with friends and family from the Dominican Republic and New York, as well, so Sammy was a great fit for what we were looking for. He's bilingual and has a music catalog in an extensive variety of genres in all styles. The best thing we did was trusting him with our merengue, bachata, salsa, reggaeton, pop, 80's, and 90's songs, because at the end of the night our guests were having a blast on the dancefloor and we've received the best feedback about Sammy and the music after our wedding. I am the happiest bride/wife!

Sammy was amazing from beginning to end! His meticulous detailed timeline and precise plan helped everything run so smoothly. DJ Sammy was fantastic! He was very detail oriented and proactive in communicating with us leading up to the wedding. He prioritized what what we wanted, but also had very helpful incite for big picture details that made planning for our big day much less stressful. He asked us all the right questions and walked us through the ones we did not have answers to. He was very punctual for our Zoom meetings and on the wedding day he arrived at the venue with ample time to set up and was completely ready well before things kicked off. We could not have had a more professional DJ. He kept the energy in the room up all night and not a single song he played was a dud! He knows what's good and what the people want. Best Photo Booth experience
Sam was so great to have at are event. We will definitely be hiring him again for future events and will refer him to people we know. Sam arrived at the time he promised, and had everything ready on time. Sam didn’t only bring the Photo Booth and props, but his outgoing attitude made all of the difference. He is so outgoing and nice, he’s a likeable guy that makes everyone feel more comfortable when they were ready to take their photo. I was a little nervous that my guest might walk away with both copies of the photo strips, but he made sure they got their copy and the other went in my album. Not only that but my 4 year old kept going back to take more photos, Sam didn’t mind at all and always had a little chair ready when he saw him coming so he could be in the frame. If you are looking for someone who is punctual, professional, friendly, and going to deliver their services at 100 % of their abilities Sam is the man to hire.

What an amazing entertainer DJ Sammy was!!!! I am so happy we picked him! He made the night super special and always giving us our special moments and letting us stand out! Sam is the best there is in the business. I have had him for the weddings for my 2 children. This man is more than a DJ, he is a awesome coordinator that runs the show. His equipment is top notch. My daughter’s Sweet 16 was way better than I ever would’ve imagined!!! That dance floor was jumping all night!!! We also had family of all ages on the dance floor! I don’t think I ever saw a second without a smile on my daughter’s face! The photo booth and props were a big hit! Everyone used them and loved them!!! My daughter’s friends and our family have been raving about how much fun they all had! Your staff were so nice to all our friends and family!! Well let’s just say they blended so well with our friends and family as well as you that we now consider y’all “Framily!” I have enjoyed every minute of our time with you throughout this process!!! You are the most organized, professional, patient, kind person I have dealt with! I honestly just don’t have enough words to express my appreciation and gratitude! If I could give 10 stars, I would. DJ Sammy's customer service and professionalism is top notch. He met with my fiance and I to get a good understanding of our desires and theme for our wedding and then worked closely with us to make our dream a reality. He was also our MC and his attention to detail was such a blessing. I know sometimes it can be tough to find a DJ/MC if you are a believer who wants a clean, yet fun event. That was not the case with DJ Sammy. He brought alot of energy and entertainment to our event and made our special day so memorable!
If you want a DJ who wants to be a part of pulling off your whole event and not just "playing some music", I highly recommend DJ Sammy Reyes. You will be glad you did!

Awesome Music Entertainment was the best decision by far! DJ Sammy was amazing. You never realize how important music is and having someone who knows the proper flow of the special occasion. DJ Sammy played the BEST music selection and it met all of my expectations of the vibe my daughter wanted for her birthday. He also provided the lighting which created the perfect atmosphere. Sam and his crew were very professional, along with being lots of fun at my event. My 60th birthday party was a casual outdoor setting so I ask him to dress that part. Went beyond to make the event very memorable. Even with the whole COVID situation going on we felt safe with him doing my birthday party. Sam is the absolute best. He took the time to learn all of the details about my daughter and her school to provide a personalized graduation party experience for her. His attention to detail and his ideas and suggestions made her graduation party better than i could have ever hoped for. From the photo booth background to the music playlist he nailed it. Sam was hands down the best DJ we could have come across. Not only he ensured both of our families were accommodated music wise (as my family is from PR and my husband’s is from TX) but he also ensured we had a very detailed reception schedule in BOTH English and Spanish so both of our families could understand and feel welcomed. And of course when things did not go as planned (because that is how things are) Sam ensured everything was ok and we continued with the next thing. We had Awesome Music Entertainment DJ and work a photo booth earlier this month at our community holiday party and could not be happier with their services. They were professional, fun and very helpful throughout the day.
They asked all the right questions leading up to the party so that on the day of the event they knew exactly what we wanted. Both the music and the photo booth were amazing and fit the event perfectly. I would definitley use them again and would recommend them for any type of event!

Everything fell into place
We were referred to Sam through a couple we knew who had hired him previously for their own children’s weddings. He was nothing but professional and understanding. He took the time to get to know us and make our wedding the perfection it came out to be.
There were a couple hiccups throughout the wedding due to things that weren’t in our control but Sam just rolled with the punches and made everything go smoothly.
Would definitely recommend him to any one of our friends or family in need of a great entertainer.

Perfect night dancing
From day one DJ Sammy was the only choice. From having a last minute song to start off the ceremony, one which he was not asked ahead of time or was in the contract, he was the hero of the night. His assistant and him made the night a blast. We knew who our dancers were amongst our family and Sammy's music kept them on the floor. We partied till the last minute possible and he had no issue keeping the party going till that minute. We are truly grateful to have found someone who was able to communicate with our family and friends alike, someone who was easily able to work in their request as if it was already in the plans. As cheesy as this will sound, I couldn't hug the guy enough to say thank you for the awesome time. We are truly grateful he took on our wedding. Thank you Sammy, you sir, you are the best!

Sam is really professional and he always give the best suggestions. Whenever there’s any disagreement between me and my hubby, he will use his profession to find the best way. I’m kinda stubborn and this is my first wedding so I’m like” I know nothing about wedding music but DJ has to listen to me”. Glad we have Sam to explain to me about wedding music and help me with ideas, our wedding turns out great! If he listens to me about everything, my wedding will be a disaster!! DJ Sammy was the most incredible amazing DJ I have ever heard. He did my event of more than 500 people. He captivated the crowd with a performance that left the people complimenting him because of such a great time everyone had because of him. I highly recommend him for any event you have. DJ Al Boogie with Awesome Music Entertainment saved the day! our venue had a/c issues and environment was a bit uncomfortable....however Alex keep everyone's mind off the heat with awesome music selection and kept everyone on the dance floor! he also was an excellent MC....he kept the whole event moving and on schedule! I honestly don't know what we would have done without him! Thank you Alex!!

Absolutely terrific, played the music we wanted to hear but when a certain kind of music wasn't getting people to dance DJ Al Boogie played music that did get people dancing. All while staying within what we wanted not played. When requests were made he checked with us before playing the songs which was fantastic. He did an amazing job keeping the flow of the night going without being disruptive

I would definitely recommend Samuel Reyes of Awesome Music Entertainment he did an amazing job, played great music, was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. A Quinceanera celebration is a unique and special event in the life of a young Latina girl. We have five daughters and we have planned three Quinceañeras with the help of Awesome Music Entertainment. All three were fun and memorable events, so when it came time to plan our final Quinceanera there was no question who we would contact. This Quince was different in that we were celebrating for our twin daughters. Sam helped us find unique ways to make each of our girls feel special. My family has used Samuel and Awesome Music Entertainment to put together all of our slideshows for the rehearsal dinner. He has always done an excellent job! What can I say? Samuel hands down is the best DJ out there. He was so professional but so friendly and open from day. He will make sure your day is perfect and is exactly what you want. My wife and I got married on Nov 23rd. We were looking for a good mixing DJ to keep ppl dancing when Awesome Music was mentioned to us. We called Sammy and got things going. Sammy played the music and did what he said he'd do. Any song that was playing that cleared the floor was quickly changed out midway and ppl were put back on the floor. I highly recommend this company and I'd use them again.

Sam is a kind hearted person and puts a lot in making your night as special as possible. He was very organized when getting our day of timeline together which helped things come together. Once the music started playing it was game on. Sam has a very large selection of songs to choose from and can also create mixes if thats what your looking for. He also has custom lighting that can be set up around the venue and has multiple color options. Sam has a very nice setup and did a great job of getting everyone up on there feet and keeping them on the dance floor. Thank you again Sam!

We have been to many weddings and receptions including our other children, but this wedding with Awesome Entertainment and DJ Sam will be one to remember. There was NOT one moment of simple music, hoping someone would get on the dance floor. From start to finish DJ Sam had everyone involved and smiling. We are still receiving compliments about the MOST FUN wedding ever. Special mood lighting, video screens, super DJ. The professionalism of Awesome Entertainment was exceptional. Several meetings with DJ Sam detailing the timeline and events of your choice. With his extensive experience we had a perfectly planned wedding and reception. It was well worth what we spent. We are not being paid to rave about the wedding. It was just simply that much fun.

We are a reserved couple and we were not very sure of what we wanted or how to approach the music and entertainment aspect of our wedding. I met with Samuel and from the first minutes I knew we had to have his services.
All the meetings, the phone calls, the details, the suggestion and the services were great. It is difficult to put into words how much helped we received! It is a relieve to know. months in advanced, everything that is going to happen in your wedding minute by minute. Samuel put together the act and made sure that all other vendors were in sync with the event. He called our parents and all the vendors before the wedding to make sure would go as planned.
I recommend AME and Samuel for any wedding!

Sam did such great job at our reception! He had a short time frame to put it all together and it was clear that it was very important to him to make sure he did a great job! And he did! We weren't your typical wedding couple and he was happy to be flexible and work with us to make it fit our style. He has a great music site that was quite helpful to me. He prepared a great playlist and knew how to get people on the dance floor and keep dancing! ( I was worried people wouldn't dance!)
DJ's are an integral part of party because they set the tone for the event. Sam covered all the bases during our meeting and he made sure he saw the venue and knew what to expect and bring the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding he kept things rolling and moving and made sure the important stuff took place. He exceeded my expectations and everyone danced and had a blast!
