David from AVR Films captured our wedding day so beautifully. It’s hard to put into words how much his work means to us! The video is breathtaking, and watching it brings back all the emotions of that special day. David and his assistant Ryan were professional, personable, and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. They captured every moment that mattered, from the big, emotional scenes to the small, intimate details we might have missed. The editing was impeccable, and the video quality was beyond what we had hoped for. We’ll treasure this forever. If you’re looking for an amazing videographer, we can’t recommend AVR Films enough! -

Working with David and his team was amazing. I highly recommend them. They were very friendly and worked extremely well with our photographer. They had my husband and I laughing all day which made things much less stressful. WE are so glad that we decided to get a videographer. We would highly recommend David and his team at AVR to anyone looking for a great videographer. I was lucky to hear about him from our wedding venue owner- I asked for any videographer recommendations, and she had one name - David Lee Ethridge at AVR Films. She had previously worked the wedding circuit as a photographer/MUA and had worked with David countless times.
I knew it was the perfect fit once I had my initial phone call with Dave to discuss the wedding. Just from the call I could get a good sense of his enthusiasm, experience, and that he took great pride in his work. He was so excited to film at my venue since he had been there once before and was already talking about the shots/angles he would execute the day of. I felt confident once I could tell he had a clear vision of how he would capture our wedding in that intimate venue setting. He was also very down to earth and really easy to talk to - it put me at ease when I was planning the wedding(which of course can be stressful!).
The day of the wedding was obviously a whirlwind and Dave & team were great at capturing all the important footage and did it with a smile and great attitude. Dave was very clear what shots he wanted to get, but never pushed us past what we were comfortable with and got some great candid shots!
I've noticed many couples nowadays gravitate towards wedding movies/teasers with very quick edits to EDM, but I was looking for something that would stand the test of time and be classic as the years went on while still capturing all the love and happiness from the day. The long-awaited video was worth waiting for, it was everything we wanted, Dave captured the magic of that day and I can't wait to watch it for years to come :)
I would highly recommend Dave and his team to any couple that wants a great videographer & team, but who are genuinely great people to have around on the biggest day of your life. -

David & team were our videographers for our wedding. They were excellent! Extremely professional and very lovely to work with. They did a great job with capturing our special wedding day. We were a bit on the fence on doing a videographer due to the price, but we’re very happy that we did get one, and David was fantastic. Overall, highly recommend! We’re very happy with the outcome. -

One word WOW!!! Wow x10000... I am hands-down mind blown!! David and his team at AVR films is just so amazing to work with and the end products were so special I can't even imagine my wedding WITH ANYONE ELSE by our side!! From the onset and beginning, David was super responsive and personable and absolutely kind hearted which made the decision to have him be our videographer an absolute no-brainer!! He literally wants to go above and beyond for all of his clients. He strives to make sure he understands FULLY your vision and vibe to deliver 100%!! I can even remember on our VERY FIRST phone call just how detailed he was explaining the art of his work and sharing all the different options for capturing the MOST out of our special day!! He provided such valuable guidance and advice as well! He was not only so thoughtful but he took the time to genuinely learn about me and my husband because he wanted to ensure that we would be a great fit and have the best partnership together come wedding day!! David came through and delivered during EVERY moment of this process - FROM BEGINNING TO END!! What I love most about David is that he is so DETAIL ORIENTED!! His professionalism is high class also!! Like most 2020 brides, we were actually faced with a couple of Covid challenges which brought multiple postponements our way... this definitely and unfortunately made our wedding journey unlike no other but David was there for us and extremely flexible throughout the roadblocks and super understanding that it made everything not seem soooo bad! I'm so lucky we found David because he himself (followed by his work) made it all that much more SPECIAL! On the actual day of our wedding, David not only arrived EARLY but showed up in such great spirits and so positive and joyful and most importantly super excited just like us!! I think that's one of the key attributes to look for in a great vendor is HOW THEY SHOW UP! He was such a DREAM to work with for not only me and my groom, but also my entire bridal party and all of our family and friends. While we were getting ready my make-up artist even commented on the side to me about how on-point David was!! He truly makes the environment so comfortable, easy, and happy especially since for most of us it's the first time you ever really actually have someone following you around with a camera recording you all day lon g LOL!! David definitely nails his craft and has such a GREAT EYE for capturing every angle - every moment - every tear - every laugh - every smile, and every secret look between bride and groom!! Our family and friends (and of course us) just want to keep watching the trailer and the full feature film over and over again. I mean what a great way to be able to relive every single moment and memory!! I am so thankful from the bottom of my heart that we had David and his crew with AVR films to capture it - I've got to honestly say we did not just get a wonderful client experience with David during our wedding, but I feel like we have earned and gained a lifelong friend in him!! If you're looking for a videographer - you need to stop looking RIGHT NOW and call David because he is the man for the job! TRUST me and you will thank me later! David thank you so much x1000000!! -

David and the AVR team were exceptional. David went above & beyond to help us and help make our day special. The quality of work is simply amazing. I could not recommend David and his team more.
We got married in Pleasanton, CA and it was a gorgeous day in October. Sunny & comfortably warm. David got there early to film pre ceremony fun and he was a blast. So friendly and personable. Everyone felt so at ease. At the ceremony David captured all those memorable moments and never once felt like he was “in the way” or in our faces. The end products were just stunning. The attention to detail David has while creating these movies make them stand apart from the rest. It’s really a work of art.
You can tell David loves what he does and truly cares whether you’re in love with your product. He wants you to have fun and not worry about a thing while he captures all of the magic of your day. We would hire David again in a heartbeat. We love you guys and thank you so much! -

AVR films was so amazing! They are super easy to get ahold of and they answered every single question I had. The crew we had was so amazing. It felt like we knew them, they were so friendly. Our videos are even more beautiful then I could ever think of. Everyone should go with AVR films -

Dave & AVR Films are absolutely AMAZING! We couldn't have selected a better vendor! His kind-spirited professional manner is exactly what EVERY woman needs on her special day. He is extremely talented at filming / photography but his editing skills are nothing short of being extraordinarily amazing. If anyone knows Dave, he is a fanatic of state-of-the-art equipment =) Every time we show a family member / close friend our wedding video they are blown away by how fabulous it is and ALWAYS comment on the quality of the video. If you are ever in need of a fabulous videographer, use AVR Films... you won't be disappointed!!! -

Aaron Sent on 10/29/2011We were completely satisfied and impressed as well as grateful to have been able to work with David Ethridge and his team.
Right from the start we looked at online videos and were drawn to the elegance, attention to detail, and comfortable transitions that AVR films displayed. We were then blown away by the genuine person that David is, the high quality of equipment that he uses, and his own personal integrity and passion for his work.
Before our wedding day, he took the time to get to know us and understand the kind of wedding ceremony and reception we were planning. He arrived early at our site to make sure he could capture footage of the winery and did some really creative shots like a time lapse of the sun setting and stars/moon coming out. Throughout the day the entire AVR films team (3 videographers) were flexible, never obtrusive, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. One of the great things about AVR films is that their equipment allows them to take high quality photos in the midst of their filming.
By the next day David had uploaded over 100 beautiful images of our wedding on facebook that we were able to share with our friends and family. We received many compliments on how artistically the pictures had been taken. A week later we had planned an East Coast reception and David was able to put together a video of our vows that we could show to our guests. He went above and beyond by staying up all night to make the necessary edits.
It was about a month before our wedding that we found out a co-worker had also worked with AVR films for her sister's wedding and highly recommended them for their flawless work and calming presence. We felt confident that we were in good hands and our experience has confirmed this and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Brianna Sent on 02/20/2009I could not wait to have my wedding day filmed by A Video Reflection! All my life I grew up watching "A Wedding Story" on TLC, and I wanted my wedding day to be filmed in the same, sentimental, story-book like way. My dream came true. My husband and I, and our families love, love, love our wedding day video! We watched it three times the first weekend we received it.
It is soo nice to have our video to capture all the memories, moments and feelings and emotions that we felt, saw and heard on our wedding day! I have those captured forever now to share.
David and his assistant, who is his son, were very professional and I have to admit, just like your other clients have said before, I didn't even know you were there with the camera on the wedding day! It felt so natural and the final product has my friends, family, and husband and I looking like movie stars and professional models! LOL.... We LOVE IT! We were oh so Glamorous!
Thank you for capturing memories that I will cherish forever, from my emotional rehearsal (which is awesome because most wedding videographers do not tape your rehearsal and this is included), the anticipation and excitement of getting ready, my father walking me down the aisle, my husband's and my vows, priceless speeches at the reception, and more! It just couldn't have been better!

David was so helpful and flexible, letting us postpone our original contract when COVID-19 forced us to push back our wedding date a full year. Day of, David was a fantastic and flexible professional for pretty much the entire day, starting with filming the bridal party in the AM and going through the ceremony to a post-reception photo shoot on the beach. 10/10, would use again. -

Pros:
• The final quality of our videos was fantastic and we were very happy with the final product
• David does a good job in the videos of mixing together different parts of the day to keep it interesting and varied
• Eventually made all the changes we requested to the video
• David has a lot of energy and positivity which he brings to the day
Neutrals:
• David prefers to stage shots (as opposed to capturing candid moments) and has a romantic story in mind that he wants to tell. Depending on what style you prefer, this can be either a pro or a con.
Cons:
• David bossed around our photographer a little, overriding the style of our photographer to take candid shots that we preferred. In retrospect, we also learned we should have identified that they had different styles, and discussed our preferences beforehand to both.
• We went through quite a lot of back-and-forth to get the requested changes we wanted for the videos. David did most the requests on the first pass, but hadn’t done some of the more important ones to us, and it took several attempts to get it to finally happen (sometimes due to email responses from him that left it unclear what he would do, or not quite following instructions we’d left on what family shot to include, etc.)
Overall, it was still a very positive experience, and the most important thing - the final product - was great!
