Great experience!!

Aviva Strings did a beautiful job for our wedding! We hired the string trio and Jessica was great with getting back to me with any questions that I had. Our music was perfect for our ceremony, and they also played for our cocktail hour. They are also able to do arrangements of songs as well. They played La Vie En Rose for the bridal entrance song and it was perfect. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely Lovely Performance

I highly recommend AVIVA Strings. I had them perform at my wedding ceremony and reception, and they were absolutely lovely. The process of working with them was super smooth and easy. They were great at managing all of the details so that I could focus on enjoying my wedding. I truly appreciated beauty that they added to my special day. Many of our guests commented on how phenomenal the musicians were. If you're thinking about AVIVA for your wedding - do it!

Elevate your event with the wonderful music of AVIVA Strings

I highly recommend Jessica and the Aviva Strings team. From our first email exchange to my wedding day, working with Jessica and her team was an absolute pleasure. The booking process was seamless and convenient. Their presence and beautiful music at our wedding at Woodloch Resort truly elevated our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful music! Jessica was able to accommodate three of our most favorite songs for our ceremony that were not included in their current repertoire. The quartet played each of them perfectly, including the song that played as I walked down the aisle. I highly recommend this team of musicians!

Best wedding instrumentalist vendor!

Aviva strings was wonderful to work with and the instrumentalist who played at my ceremony was amazing! 10/10 recommend to make your special day absolutely beautiful! Very talented group of musicians as well with a large catalog of music to choose from.

AVIVA Strings created the most amazing atmosphere for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! Jess from AVIVA was so helpful in implementing the songs and style I had envisioned while using her own creative opportunities to make the music outstanding. They made our wedding ten times more upscale and classy!

I loved having Aviva strings play at our ceremony! They played so beautifully. They accommodated us last minute and were so professional! Bravo Aviva Strings! Our Aviva Strings trio played at our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner and they were AMAZING!!!! Jessica is the consummate professional; she guided us through every detail including music selection. Everyone at our micro wedding (and even those who were watching on ZOOM) commented on wonderful the music was and how it set the "tone" for the perfect wedding celebration. Amazing Talent

We hired Aviva Strings by searching for wedding music and chose them by the reviews. But to be honest, the reviews don't do them justice. Jessica was our violinist, and the one word everyone kept using to describe her talent was 'amazing'. She was so responsive to our many, many requests and questions, but never made us feel like we were a bother. She even went out of her way to call the venue to request permission on something extra for us. There are not enough words to express our gratitude and appreciation for her talent and kindness to us.

Incredible musicians!

I had been in contact with Jessica for months leading up to our big day. She was quick to respond to all of my questions and so easy to work with. We went with a string trio that performed our ceremony and cocktail hour. They placed the exact songs we wanted and sounded incredible. Listening to the trio beautifully play The Flower Duet as my bridesmaids walked down the aisle and the stirrings of Pachelbel’s Canon in D as I began down the aisle with my father, was the cherry on top of that specific moment in time. I heard from our guests that they thoroughly enjoyed the performance during cocktail hour as well! Thank you Aviva Strings for helping make our day magical!

Great Experience

Jessica was so helpful when it came to figuring out my music for the ceremony and willing to entertain my song request when it wasn't in their repetoire. The musicians arrived on time and were very professional. My officiant was able to chat with them and organize cues for when the music was to be played and when. My only regret is that I wish the weather didn't force me to change my ceremony indoors because I only got to hear a very brief snippet of the song I specifically requested for my entrance. My walk down the aisle indoors was much shorter than it would have been outdoors. However, I have zero complaints about AVIVA Strings and would recommend them to anyone.

Beautiful Ceremony Music!

Beautiful accompaniment to our ceremony

The music from Aviva Strings was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding day. Jessica was very easy to work with, accommodating, and helped make our wedding dreams come true. We had a violin, guitar and vocalist for our ceremony, which included two custom arrangements, and the musicians then played though cocktail hour.
Aviva will always hold a very special place in my heart. I had been calm all day before our ceremony, not particularly emotional. However, as soon as I heard the custom arrangement begin, before I walked down the aisle - tears. The beautiful music struck a chord in my heart and is one of the most poignant and lovely memories of our wedding ceremony. I would highly recommend Aviva Strings for any wedding or event where you want a personal touch.

AVIVA was absolutely wonderful! I booked them to perform at our cocktail hour and we loved them! From the minute I contacted them until after our wedding, Jessica was incredibly professional, responsive, kind, and accommodating. They even performed a custom arrangement for us - the fight song from my husband's alma mater - and it was such a big hit. AVIVA can perform such a wide variety of songs that you'll definitely be able to find something to please everyone. Having them added such a classic ambiance to our cocktail hour and I wish I could host another event just to be able to hire them again. You will NOT be disappointed if you hire them. They're worth every penny!

We had AVIVA Strings string quartet play during our cocktail hour at the Appletree Terrace in Dallas. Every detail was perfect and they set the tone perfectly for our night. Each member of their team performing was extremely personable and majorly talented. We went with a unique mix of contemporary and Disney music and were grateful for being able to choose from such a vast listing of selections. We can't wait to go back and listen to their performance when our wedding video becomes available. We highly recommend any bride on the fence to book this highly talented team to complete your perfect day :)

I would recommend AVIVA Strings to anyone who is looking for live music for his/her wedding day. We used AVIVA for ceremony and dinner music at our wedding and they were amazing! To begin with, Jessica was so responsive throughout the whole process, and really bent over backwards to help us get the experience we were looking for. She made our lives so much easier and was great to work with. And on top of that, the group has a great song list with a lot of variety. My wife and I used Aviva Strings to play at our wedding ceremony on September 30, 2017 at The Inn at Woodloch in Hawley, PA. We reviewed several musicians very thoroughly before deciding on Aviva Strings and we could not be happier. They played beautifully, just loud enough to provide the perfect backdrop for our wedding, but just quiet enough that I got to focus fully on my bride and our special day.

Aviva Strings has a very wide-ranging repertoire and it was very easy to pick exactly the music we wanted for our ceremony. They were also very flexible and even wrote a custom arrangement for us for a modest $75 fee. We wanted "You Are The Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne for our recessional and, not only did they score it for us, but it came out great! It was the perfect way to cap our wedding.

From start to finish, working with Aviva Strings was easy. They were very responsive in the months leading up to the ceremony. Any time we had a question or a request, they answered quickly and made the whole process very easy. Most importantly, on the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing. They came in, set up and packed up all on their own without any hassle. All-in-all, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend them!

We used a string trio for our ceremony music and we couldn't be more thrilled with Jessica and her team of extremely professional musicians! They have a huge selection of both classical and contemporary repertoire and were even able to learn new pieces. Our guests loved all the songs they played and the trio was even kind enough to take an Instagram pic of our ceremony which ended up being one of our favorite guest photos!

We hired AVIVA strings on short notice, after learning that another band we were using couldn't play any classical music for our ceremony. Despite how late we booked them AVIVA took great care in working with me to select which pieces we wanted played and with what instrumentation. We ended up with a lovely cello-violin duo.

I didn't have a chance to meet the musicians on the day of the wedding, but our officiant told me later that he was very impressed with how professional and accommodating they were. They sounded great despite playing in a tent on a rainy day, and they sound good on the video, too. Highly recommend.

As anyone reading reviews on a wedding website knows, planning a wedding is an overwhelming amount of work.
AVVIA and the owner Jessica, is one of those wonderful vendors, who you choose to work with, and they do so much of the planning work for you.
From the first step of receiving the quote, all of the information arrived quickly, and all of the details were presented clearly to understand what each option would cost. It made it easy for me to determine that with our budget, music for the prelude & ceremony by a duo would be best, but I was able to clearly see what it would cost for a trio or quartet, what it would cost to add the cocktail hour etc.
I got some quotes from other musicians, and not only were they less clear, the thing that was clear is that they were far more expensive.
We opted to pay an extra fee for a custom arrangement of one of our favorite songs for our processional, but left up to AVVIA what to play for the prelude selections, and they were all really lovely.
I wish that I could say that I had some great interactions with the musicians, but given the short block of time that we booked them for, I never even had the chance to thank them. But, the truth is... that is exactly what you want, is on your wedding day to have people who efficiently arrive, do what they are scheduled to do, and you never have to take time to give them instruction, Jessica made sure that all of the details were perfectly mapped out well in advance.
I could not recommend them more highly, having their lovely soundtrack for the most important part of our wedding day was so meaningful, and in the one phone call before the wedding when the stress of everything I had to get done was really settling in, she was so reassuring and offered me some great advice to help stay calm & focused.
If you chose to hire AVIVA for your wedding, you will be in very good hands during a time when any stress you can take off your plate is vital!

From the very first email, I knew that I would be hiring Aviva Strings to be a part of our wedding day. Jessica is prompt with responses which makes every bride's life that much easier (and will also email you reminders and updates as your day approaches in case you lose track of anything). Without any pressure, she helped us decide how many musicians would be best for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had the fantastic string quartet who coordinated with the organist and cantor at our church, and then played fun jazz/popular music during our cocktail hour. Since we were having a DJ, they were the perfect way to add a touch of live music to our reception. I would highly recommend using Aviva Strings for your wedding or event - professional, talented musicians who truly elevate your big day!

I Would highly reccommend having AVIVA strings at your Wedding or event . I worked with Jessica throughout the entire planning process and she was wonderful. Very organized, professional, and prompt. We choose to have a string trio and the musicians were incredibly talented to say the least, and the love strings really made for a beautiful addition to our wedding ceremony.

My husband and I booked AVIVA Strings to perform at our wedding June 3, 2017. From the very beginning of my corresponding back and forth with Jessica, I knew they would be great. She was timely with responding and answered all of the questions I had for her (and there were quite a few). She paid attention to detail and was very thorough to make sure our day was just as we had envisioned. We had a violinist and guitarist perform our ceremony, cocktail, and dinner. They were so elegant and sounded absolutely amazing, their sounds just flowed so well together. They played a variety of music, which was perfect. We also had custom arrangements played for our ceremony and our first dance, I couldn't have imagined it sounding any more beautiful. It made our special day all the more special. Jessica is very organized and follows-up even faster than my type A personality is used to! Although I didn't hear all of the music before the ceremony I know the guests loved it. I asked Aviva to arrange an Irish song for me to walk down the aisle to and it sounded even better on the strings than the original composition. Thanks Aviva!

I could not have been happier. I found Aviva about a year out from my Daughter's outdoor wedding. The wedding was just outside Binghamton NY. Aviva - led by Jessica stayed in close contact. Jessica will make sure your selections are exactly what you are looking for. The Columbus Day weekend was a little windy and just under 60 degrees but the Quartet sounded phenomenal. That they stuck it out and endured less than perfect performance conditions is a testimony to their professionalism and dedication to the event. If you are looking at this review, you are thinking "Do I really need a string quartet?" Yes.. yes you do. It is classic and timeless. And...look no further. Choose Aviva. They will deliver a great performance!

Aviva Strings did beautifully at my wedding! I was so happy to work with Jessica. She was easy to work with and helped me whenever I needed something. She responded quickly and was accommodating.
The trio that played during my ceremony and my cocktail hour were very talented and they played beautifully. It was a nice addition to the cocktail hour to have live strings. I love the way they sound and it classed up the cocktail hour just a little more. I would definitely recommend them to any bride that wants to add strings to their event. They have different genres of music they can play and they have different groupings of instruments.

AVIVA Strings was a phenomenal addition to our big day; we’re so thrilled to have found them! We contracted a string quartet arrangement to perform our ceremony and cocktail hour music. Jessica and her collaborating musicians are not only extraordinarily talented but a delight to work with. Jessica was very prompt and professional in her communications and easy to work with. AVIVA learned a custom arrangement to meet our vision for my processional, it was perfect. They understood our musical tastes and ensured to incorporate these genres throughout the cocktail hour; from Zac Brown Band, to The Beatles, Dave Matthews and more. Our guests are still complimenting their talents and the ambiance they brought to our day; many have said it was fun to play “name that tune”. Our only complaint is that we did not have the opportunity to hear more of their talent. We highly recommend AVIVA Strings for all of those special celebrations, you won’t be disappointed!

Jessica put together a wonderful string quartet for our ceremony. They sounded beautiful and played contemporary music that we loved. They did not have an arrangement for the song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, so Jessica wrote an arrangement. It was beautiful! Many of our guests told me they loved the music.

Jessica was so wonderful and so much fun to work with. She was patient, funny, and helpful. She listed to what we wanted and made helpful suggestions. I would work with Aviva Strings again in a heartbeat!

AVIVA Strings played for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were amazing!! They were even able to do a custom arrangement for us of a favorite song which we LOVED! I literally got goosebumps when I was waiting to walk down the aisle and heard them playing. Our guests are still talking about it as well! Jessica was also very easy to work! I wasn't the most organized bride but she kept me on track the whole time. Highly recommended - I can't say enough good things! I would highly recommend AVIVA Strings! The music they played was beyond beautiful and really created the perfect sophisticated backdrop to our hayfield ceremony. They also played some more funky and contemporary music during our cocktail hour which our guests loved! Jessica was my favorite vendor to deal with. She was more like a friend than a stranger planning my wedding. She was so accommodating with the song choices and was willing to give lots of ideas! I was thinking about using someone else before I came across AVIVA strings. The other company was more money and I had such a great feeling after I received the first email back from Jessica. We did a very small wedding and the musical element to our ceremony made it! It was freezing cold for so early in October and I was shaking while saying the vows outside so I don't know how they were able to play so beautifully and be so professional. Having a background in wedding planning, I had more opportunity than others to know first-hand how many variations there are for the particulars on one of the most important days of your life. My decision to have a string quartet was something I was absolutely sure about amid a multitude of other decisions to make. Having live musicians playing music you've chosen with your fiance elevates the moment in a way that recorded music cannot. It personalized and added to the sentiment and depth of such an important moment. Jessica from AVIVA was not only very responsive to whatever communications we had, she was patient- working on "bride time" for her was no issue. She helped me figure out the perfect songs when I struggled to figure out exactly what I wanted. For the songs I was sure about, she accomodated us with excitement, even arranging a song they hadn't played before together. Jessica and her musicians were phenomenal. We had her string quartet play classical pieces for our ceremony and a diverse collection of contemporary pop music for our cocktail hour. I couldn't be happier with our choice to use Aviva Strings for our wedding and hope to be able to use them again in the future. They were courteous and professional and accommodated all of our requests. I would and have recommended Aviva Strings to friends and family for their own events. Thank you so much to Jessica and the phenomenal musicians she plays with.

We were so happy to find AVIVA Strings for our rustic July wedding near the poconos. We found them through our planner as well as reviews online and their performance was fantastic and Jessica is so easy to work with - they accommodated all of our special requests for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. 5 stars - highly recommend. Excellent romantic music for the ceremony and jazz for the cocktail hour. Played every song requested by our guests. Highly recommend!!!!

AVIVA played for my wedding in Scranton. I booked them kind of last minute and Jessica was great to work with. Even though it was last minute, communication was very fast and they were able to play my requests and the music was so beautiful and made my ceremony really elegant - I had many guests tell me they loved the live music. I got a few quotes for music and pricing for AVIVA Strings was really competitive too. Highly recommend!

If you believe that music can impact your emotions, and if you appreciate outstanding musicianship, then listening to Jess & AVIVA Strings play the violin is an experience you will remember. Every time I hear them play, listening to the expert technique and unique interpretation of music, it has a profound impact on me. My reaction is always to want to listen even more. Jess & AVIVA Strings have a special talent and I have never been disappointed in their performances.

Jessica and her ensemble were absolutely incredible at my winter wedding. I had very specific music that I wanted played and Jessica was SO accommodating and easy to work with for my special day. I would highly recommend Aviva Strings for any type of event and I just recently spoke to Jessica about playing for my father's 65th birthday party. She and her ensemble are so talented and I can't wait to work with her again!

Our wedding ceremony was so beautiful, Sept 4th 2016. Jessica, from the start was so quick to respond and answered all my questions. I was so pleased with the services of duo (violinist and guitarist) we received. The huge bonus was we actually had Jessica as our violinist. It was such a pleasure to meet her. What true professionals. Everything was just perfect!! I asked for a tribute song "Danny Boy" in memory of my father & deceased loved ones. The song was done perfectly...Unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We are forever grateful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Aviva Strings had a great selection of songs. The planner/owner was wonderful to plan the music with. Musicians were professional and set the perfect tone for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Great performers. We had the string trio and they were capable of playing all of our requests (most were current pop hits). Perfect volume for an outdoor venue. We received many compliments on the music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Would definitely recommend again.

Aviva Strings was great to work with and we were even able to have them create a special arrangement of the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams that we wanted to use as a recessional! I would've liked to be able to hear a recording of the arrangement once it was written, since we paid for it, because it did seem very slow when we were walking down the aisle after the ceremony, so people weren't really able to dance and clap the way we had wanted to. We also had asked for Turning Page by Sleep at Last to be played during our unity ceremony and that was forgotten, so it was just silent during that time.

I originally had a guitarist from another company scheduled to play our ceremony music for our wedding day. 2 weeks before our wedding he cancelled so... I went into panic mode. I definitely didn't have the energy to start going nuts and emailing a million vendors to see if they had my date available. I reached out to Aviva Strings because I knew my venue had worked with them in the past. Jessica was amazing and totally saved the day. She was SUPER quick to respond, which was #1 for me. The list of songs they have is amazing and she found me a solo violinist 2 weeks before my wedding who was able to play all of my alternative requests. Jessica is professional and reliable and I was so relieved to work with her and her company. Guests said the music was truly beautiful. If you're looking for stress free, reliable, and beautiful ceremony music... definitely go for Aviva Strings.

I had booked AVIVA Strings for my 9/12/20 wedding which unfortunately has been postponed to 2021 due to the current COVID19 restrictions. Jessica Kang had been very responsive when I originally booked the services. I have now been trying to reach her for several weeks to discuss the possibility of transferring services to our new date. I have reached out via phone, left voicemails, facebook messenger, and several emails without a response.
