Eloquent, soothing, and memorable.

Aviva Sala made our wedding better for officiating it. I would highly recommend choosing her if you're looking for a calming soul with a wonderful voice who will craft a perfect speech that fully reflects the personalities of you and your partner.
Multiple people at our wedding asked us how we knew Aviva, since she seemed to know us so well and we were so confident around her. That is her superpower.
I should also mention that beyond her officiating duties, she also was coordinating with other vendors to make sure the music, the vendor, and everyone were on the same page for the ceremony to go off without a hitch. Aviva said "I got this," and she absolutely did. That is such a gift on an otherwise chaotic day, do yourself a favor and bring Aviva aboard.

most perfect wedding ceremony

Aviva hand-crafted a custom ceremony for us that fit both of our wishes for how we wanted the ceremony to be. We wanted a non-secular wedding but still included some prayers and blessings that were important to us. Her ceremony was beautiful and really captured our relationship eloquently. We met with her in person once beforehand and then did all of the email correspondence afterwards. We loved her!!

What can I say about the wonderful Aviva, only that she knocked it out the park! We have been getting so many compliments about our ceremony and the words Aviva put together for us. She will sit and meet with you and get to know you and your significant other and tells you exactly what you have to do. Even though you profread what she’s written it is absolutely magical the way she reads them. She was a beautiful and clear speaker with personality. We are so fortunate and thankful for her!

Wonderful Experience with Rev Aviva!

Aviva is the best! My daughter's wedding was postponed twice due to Covid and Aviva was incredibly supportive, patient, and flexible in rescheduling each time. As they say the third time's the charm :) She took into account the couple's exact needs and wishes and designed a ceremony that exceeded our expectations and perfectly fit what we all hoped for. You'd really be doing yourself a disservice if you do not hire Aviva Sala as your wedding officiant. I cannot tell you how many guests came up to us after the ceremony to say how it was the best ceremony they've ever heard. There was not a dry eye in the house. It was personalized to our relationship and I could not have made a better choice. Working with Aviva was seamless and easy and I could not recommend her more if I tried. A Perfect Match for Our I Do Re-Do

We worked with Aviva to write our "I Do Re-do" vow renewal ceremony for our wedding reception that was postponed due to COVID. Aviva was such a pleasure to work with! She was easygoing, flexible when we had some scheduling changes for appointments, and overall just great company. Our guests kept remarking on how beautiful our ceremony was! Anna and Nick's Wedding

Rev Aviva Sala officiated our wedding and we could not have been happier. She had such a calming demeanor that put us at all at ease. Her words were so touching and meaningful, it was as if she was a part of our lives for a long time even though we just met minutes before. I am not super religious but my in-laws are. Rev Aviva touched all bases which made everyone so happy. My mother in law is still talking about how special and beautiful the ceremony was. Absolutely amazing

We met with Aviva for a custom ceremony a few months ago and got married on Halloween 2021. From the moment we first met to discuss the ceremony to the second we left our reception Aviva was so helpful and wonderful. She made our day perfect in every way possible. Me and my wife couldn’t be any happier with the outcome and everything she did for us. I wish I could give more than five stars

We got married on Halloween of 2021. We met with Aviva for a custom ceremony and it was the most beautiful thing we ever heard, our guests keep going in about how much better it was than your typical ceremony. She took our story and tied it into the ceremony so nicely there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Aviva took, what had become quite a stressful occasion for us, and helped us every step of the way and made sure it was perfect. She helped us with photos, we had no clue how to pose, she helped up with ideas for things like the love lock and giving roses to our parents during the ceremony. We could not be happier.

Amazing Officiant

Aviva is fantastic and made our ceremony unique and memorable. Aviva wrote us a custom ceremony that fit us perfectly. She added humor to the day and engaged all of our guests. Amazing job!

Aviva was such an incredible officiant! My husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She was on time and prompt, knowledgeable about the procedures both day of and when helping to write our vows, a great communicator through email, as well as kind and funny. She helped our special day run so smoothly.

My husband and I actually originally hired April Gismondi, who is part of her team. Due to Covid and our wedding being pushed back, April was no longer available, and so we went with Avivia. This turned out to work out for the absolute best. Again, Aviva was a wonderful officiant!

Aviva is the best!

There is no one better than Aviva! She really takes pride it what she does, and it shows. She is patient, kind, and really takes time to make sure that she captures you and your fiancé to ensure a beautiful ceremony. She makes sure that your vows are personal, and involves you in the process to change or edit anything before the final revision. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else perform our ceremony. We still have family and friends saying how nice it was. 10/10 would recommend!

Extraordinary Officiant

When a wedding involves Aviva Sala as wedding officiant, I can only say --- WOW, FANTASTIC, AMAZING!!! Aviva Sala officiated our marriage ceremony on July 31, 2021, at the DeSeversky Mansion in Brookville and was the perfect fit for our marriage ceremony! She interviewed us several months before, and at the end she asked us if we would want to see what she would write to say during our ceremony. We said no, because the way she ran our interview and discussion, we had a feeling she would do an amazing job. We were right! Her words and writing were perfect. I wouldn’t have changed one syllable. She mixed the right balance of reverence, solemness and humor during the ceremony. It was clear to both Suliat and I that she not only heard what we said during our interview/discussion, but also saw behind our words; and that gave her ceremony more depth. So, to summarize in a quick phrase, yes, I would very highly recommend using Aviva as your wedding officiant.

Rev. Aviva is the Best!

If you're considering hiring Rev. Aviva Sala to officiate your wedding (or any other event, really) - GO FOR IT! She's the absolute best. She makes sure to really get to know you and your fiance, as well as what you want for your wedding and ceremony. With this information, she crafts a beautifully written and deeply personalized ceremony - our family members are STILL talking about how incredible the ceremony was, and that's all thanks to Aviva. Also, our wedding was originally cancelled and then rescheduled and re-planned multiple times due to Covid - Aviva stuck with us through all of the changes. We are beyond grateful for her flexibility. Finally, Aviva also helps with a lot of the little things you might not think about when it comes to getting married (or at least we didn't!) - she'll guide you through the process of getting the license as well as all of the little decisions you'll need to make regarding the actual ceremony. Ah-maz-ing!

Rev. Aviva Sala = hands down the best officiant out there!! Aviva married my brother & sister in law in 2018 & my fiancé and I both knew right away that we wanted to have her do our ceremony when the time came for us! Since the very beginning, communication with her was a breeze, she is very responsive & informative. She is extremely personable & it felt like we have known her for years. Our meeting with her was filled with laughs & happy tears!

Since we chose to have the custom ceremony created by Aviva, we had a zoom meeting with her one day back in February so she could get to know all the ins and outs of us individually & as a couple. We elected not to read her creation beforehand so during our ceremony it would be the first time we both heard her lovely & amazing words! IT WAS AMAZING!!! if you get the chance to have a custom ceremony written, please please wait until the big day to read/hear it! you won't regret it one bit, just made everything about the wedding even more special!

Fantastic Ceremony Thanks to Her

Aviva was fantastic! About a month before our wedding, we had to find a new officiant and Aviva rose to the challenge. She had no concerns with getting things squared away before our wedding date. We planned to say our own vows and she helped to make sure they stood out the most during the ceremony by suggesting to us that the words she spoke during the ceremony be less about us and more about love, which was so much so the best decision and we thank her for that. She provided ample resources for us to make the words she spoke during the ceremony exactly what we wanted. On the day of the wedding she met with each of us and made sure we understood how things would progress and what our response to our queues should be. She also made sure to point out to us the most important part, that we look at each other during the ceremony and not her because of how natural it is to look at someone when they speak to you. She printed out our personal vows for us and handed them to us during the ceremony so we did not have to worry about bringing them with us and at the end provided us with a lovely little binder, the one she read out of during the ceremony, which contained all of the words she spoke along with our vows. Aviva was wonderful and we could not recommend her enough for your wedding ceremony.

Aviva is one of those people you meet and feel like you have known her all your life, because that is how instantly special she makes you feel. Aviva takes the time to really ask you and your significant other questions that are so unique to you two that you are left with a ceremony that feels so entirely your own. AMAZING! 10/10 Ceremony

Aviva was nothing short of amazing. We originally had Aviva booked for our 5/16/20 wedding. Unfortunately, we had to resschedule but Aviva was so great with the changes. We just had her marry us last weekend and the ceremony she wrote was so beautiful.

We met with Aviva on zoom where she asked us questions about ourselves and our story. She used all this information to create a beautiful and personal ceremony. It felt like she really knew us forever. We received SO many compliments on the ceremony. There was not a dry eye there.

I could not recommend Aviva enough. If you are thinking about using Aviva, do it! Once you meet her, you'll know you need her to marry you! :)

You are OUR density!!

I do think it was fate that led Aviva to respond to my inquiry about the Church Of Ancient Ways’ services. When I started to describe to her what we were going for with our mini-mony on 9/19 (spoiler alert, it was super nerdy), she said she LOVES to do these sorts of ceremonies! We changed our plans a couple times (it being 2020 and all), and we went with the custom ceremony service to fully make our service as us as possible. We had our virtual meeting with Aviva maybe a month or so out (I don’t even remember anymore), and she was able to get together the most beautiful and fitting service for us. Our wedding day was the first time we heard it, and it was PERFECT! Back To The Future, Game Of Thrones, and sentimental touches all around. We did a unity wine ceremony as well as an anniversary box, too! I would recommend Aviva to officiate everyone and anyone’s wedding from now to eternity!!!

Aviva Saves the Day

So when you get married, you need someone to marry you right? lol My wife and I kind of forgot that part. Aviva SAVES THE DAY!!

Literally called Aviva, not knowing if she would be available, 4 weeks before our wedding. Honestly can say, she is one of the nicest and coolest people. Thankfully, she did not have anything going on that day and she was able to marry us.

Aviva was THE BEST officiant I and all of my wedding, has ever heard. I cannot tell you how many people called us to say congratulations, but SPECIFICALLY mentioned Aviva.

Amazing experience with Aviva!

Rev. Aviva was amazing to work with! My husband and I wanted to have our ceremony on site, but we still wanted the feel of having readings and prayers. Aviva created a custom ceremony and achieved this wonderfully. We got so many (seriously, so many) compliments about her ceremony, some saying it was the best they have ever heard. 10/10 Would Recommend

We were introduced to Aviva at our good friends' wedding. I was playing violin for my friend's ceremony and could tell right away how professional Aviva was. Through dealing with her that day, as well as hearing plenty about her through our friend that was using her at the time, we decided to go with her as well.
We chose to do the interview so that our ceremony would be catered more personally to us, which we are very glad that we did. She was super flexible in that she listened to all of our needs and utilized them; we were even able to add in a filipino traditions into our ceremony. So it was nice that not only was our ceremony very personal, but also paid tribute to our background.
Aviva was very easy to communicate with and exceeded our expectations. Yes, she helped up with the ceremony, but she also helped set us up for married life: gave us insight on how to go about name/status change, etc.

Highly recommend!!

Aviva was so personable from the second I first spoke with her on the phone. We made an appointment with her so that we could get to know her and obviously so that she could get to know us.
She was so flexible with my schedule as I was working 2 jobs and in school at the time. We spoke with her for about 1.5 hours and she took that 1.5 hours and made it into something so special for us. Guests at the ceremony even said that it seemed as though she knew us forever. She made our ceremony completely perfect by tying in everything that was important to us and brought in just the right about of humor throughout...especially during the times where humor was needed after mentioning my husband’s father who passed away.
She also swayed us into better ideas than ones we already thought we liked. For example, we wanted to do a sand ceremony since our ceremony was on the beach, but we weren’t completely set on it and she recommended a rope tying ceremony instead, which we had never heard of and we fell in love with that idea. She also suggested giving our parents roses during the ceremony thanking them for being our role models, which we truly didn’t even know was a thing that people could do during a ceremony.
She also LISTENED! We told her that we aren’t very religious, so she even went through specific wording with us to ask us what words would/wouldn’t feel comfortable with her using. We told her that we wanted to honor and mention my husband’s father, but that we didn’t want everyone crying for the entire ceremony, so she tied it in perfectly.
Leading up to the wedding, I can say that Aviva was always on top of her emails and responded almost immediately every time I had a question or needed to change something. She was super organized throughout the whole process as well and even gave us a binder with our vows inside so that we always have them.
Upon arrival at the venue, she immediately introduced herself to the maid of honor, best man, and our parents and talked them through everything and then sat with us to go over everything again.
We absolutely LOVE her and our guests and family did as well! We are so glad she was a part of our day. I highly recommend her.

Aviva is the best!

My husband and I were connected with Aviva through our venue as she was a preferred vendor. We could not be happier with our experience with her. Look no further!

Rev Aviva is so super nice, easy to work with and responds quickly. She does excellent writings and really pays close attention and goes into extreme detail about things about the couple to write about for their ceremonies.
We recently used her for our October 4 wedding and we got soo many compliments on how well she wrote our ceremony. Everyone thought she did so well, was funny and really told mine and my husband's story well. I agree with them! My husband and I chose not to hear what Rev Aviva wrote for our wedding until we were there in the moment. I would not have done it any differently. It was perfect and just being up there with my husband, both hearing it for the first time on our wedding day was magical.
She came to check in on me when she came in before the ceremony, and then checked in on us after the ceremony. She makes the process so much easier and she put my mind at ease after the first meeting.

Amazing, Authentic Experience !

Admittedly , my wife and I were originally drawn to Aviva after finding her online and noticing right away that she looked remarkably similar to our favorite Criminal Minds character (Penelope Garcia)! However , after meeting her in person, it was clear; we NEEDED to have her as our officiant based solely on her immediate ability to connect with us and her welcoming and down to earth personality .
After our meeting with Aviva, my wife and I left feeling so comfortable , happy and excited . She has an incredible energy that we picked up on instantly and her warm, playful and down to earth nature made us instantly feel at ease.
We were absolutely blown away when we received the first draft of our ceremony to review. It captured our relationship , our personalities and our connection to one another in a way that I have never seen written in words before. It was so perfect that we didn’t even need to make any revisions .
The day of the ceremony , Aviva was amazing and so many of our family and friends approached us complimenting the ceremony and our “awesome officiant” .
My wife and I could not be happier with the personalized ceremony that Aviva wrote for us and her execution of the ceremony on our wedding day.

Beautiful Ceremony

From the beginning, Aviva was so nice and sweet and took the time to get to know us. My now-husband and I were living in different cities and she accommodated us and did a Skype call with us in order to get to know us and create a ceremony for us. She did a great job explaining everything that we needed to take care of legally before the wedding and after. The day of the wedding she arrived early and took care of everything so smoothly I didn't even know the witnesses had signed our marriage certificate until way later. Her ceremony was beautiful and she captured everything we wanted to showcase in our relationship. After the ceremony people kept telling us how great she was to listen to and how they enjoyed the ceremony that she put together. She really has a way with words and you will not be disappointed if you choose her.

Wonderful!

Aviva did such a wonderful job officiating our wedding! She really captured who we were and our relationship. She took the time to get to know us and wrote such a beautiful speech. We got married on a 100 degree day outside, and Aviva made sure to get through the speech quickly to spare our guests the heat, but also perfectly fit in everything we wanted. Amazing officiant means amazing ceremony

Aviva was, hands down, the winner of our ceremony (other than myself and my groom, of course). Throughout the wedding, our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, how touching, how wonderfully personalized the sentiments were. One of my bridesmaids, who is Jewish, asked me if Aviva would do Jewish weddings (I’m not sure, but I hope so!).

Aviva was upfront about her process, she had different prices for pre-written or customized ceremonies. We went with the customized, which included a 1-hour meeting with Aviva, when she asked us a lot of details about ourselves and our relationship. It was tough to summarize a relationship, but that is essentially what Aviva did, and she hit the right note throughout; the ceremony was not overbearingly emotional and definitely not dry. She made our guests laugh, cry and left them amused. Who knew our story could be so riveting? Aviva definitely had a hand in making it so.

Perfection as a celebrant!

Aviva was professional and detailed with everything from start to finish. Her efficiency helped us by not having to worry about the ceremony on the day of the wedding. I was personally grateful when I started speaking to my grandson about the ring presentation and she took over and spoke to him so beautifully, easing his nerves and calming mine. Her aura is calm and warm. During the ceremony, everything was perfect. Afterward, many of our guests commented on how wonderful she was and how beautiful the ceremony was. This woman has a gift!

The ceremony that Aviva put together for us was everything that my husband and I had ever hoped and dreamed of. Aviva is professional and friendly and is gifted in what she does! She had walked us through everything with creating this ceremony, and had been with us every step of the way. My husband and I have a unique story and we didn't know how to tell it without going overboard. We were oceans apart when we met, and then met in person for the first time when I went to pick him up from the airport. It was something out of a movie with how we fell in love, being a UKUS international couple who had traveled thousands of miles just to go on dates, and then move countries to live together - we wanted to be sure that our story was heard loud and clear!

Likewise, we wanted to stay goodbye to long distance and start up our life together as soon as possible, so we actually ended up having not just one, but two beautiful ceremonies by Aviva. One very intimate, private ceremony in a park with just our parents and siblings, and another later on in the year surrounded by all of our friends and family from near and far. On so many levels, both ceremonies that she did for us were so very special! Aviva had given us the best of both world, captured our story and told it perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the services she provided!

Truly made our ceremony perfect

Aviva was incredible. She was a pleasure to talk to and we had a great time talking to her to plan out custom ceremony. Our ceremony was perfect on the first shot! She truly nailed it. Her guidance as far as the marriage license was invaluable and so nice to have her take the responsibility of mailing it out. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect. Aviva worked with our Maitre’d and even helped trouble shoot getting family members with mobility issues down the aisle. She led a quick rehearsal right before which was perfect even talking my husband and myself where to stand for the best photos. I got so many compliments about how amazing our ceremony was. All out guests young and old said it brought them to tears and Aviva’s words so perfectly captured our relationship. I could not have imagined our ceremony without Aviva. She was a calming presence and you can feel her passion and love of love. She was genuine,y excited for us and made our day so special.

Aviva is an amazing officiant!

Aviva absolutely saved our wedding ceremony! We had originally booked a different vendor as our officiant who really didn’t understand our values as a couple, and wrote us a ceremony that wasn’t “us.” I was scared to reach out to Aviva with the fear that she’d think we were going to be difficult to work with because of this but I’m so glad I did because she was extremely kind and professional.

She met with us for over an hour several months before the wedding day to learn about our relationship and wrote a beautiful ceremony with everything we wanted in it. However, you are encouraged to make any edits and changes you want until you’re 100% pleased with the final result.

On the day of, she arrived early and in good spirits to perform our ceremony! The signing of the license was a quick and easy process. The ceremony was fantastic and we received so many compliments from our friends and family. Many people said it was very unique to us as a couple which is exactly what we wanted! I would absolutely recommend Aviva to any couple, whether traditional or non traditional, as she truly wants to make a ceremony that is perfect for YOU.

Where to start! Aviva was not only so sweet, she had such a way with words and is so kind. Telling Our Story

When my fiancé and I started to plan our wedding — the second marriage for each of us — we decided we wanted an intimate, personalized experience this time around. We chose to host a small family gathering in our home, and Aviva was the perfect person to design our custom-made ceremony. She interviewed us not only about how we met and the history of our relationship, but also about what qualities we love best about each other. From that information, she crafted our story with sentimentality, humor, and sincerity. She also incoporated the traditional elements from our Jewish faith seamlessly with unique touches, such as the sand ceremony incorporating my two sons to symbolize the union of a new, blended family. Our families had never been to a wedding like ours and were unanimously amazed, impressed and touched by its personal beauty. When we held a larger reception at a restaurant four months later to share our joy with more family, friends, and colleagues than could fit in our apartment, we chose to re-do the ceremony so everyone could experience our story told in Aviva’s descriptive words. What a beautiful ceremony!

What a pleasure it was to work with Rev. Aviva! My husband and I were planning our wedding long distance, and she made everything so easy and stress-free. We had one phone call with her, and she was so down-to-earth, pleasant and professional, that we knew she was the one we wanted to do our ceremony. We chose the fully customized ceremony, and are so glad we did! Aviva takes the time to get to know you and your story, and she personalizes every aspect of your ceremony to reflect your personalities and your values. We’ve all had to sit through some of those boring, cookie-cutter ceremonies in our lives, so if you want to make sure your wedding is the exact opposite of that, work with Aviva! Not only is she lovely as a person, but she’s also so detail-oriented and communicates so clearly, that your mind is put at ease, knowing there will be absolutely nothing left to chance on your big day. She allows you unlimited revisions of your ceremony draft, but honestly you probably won’t need to do much -- she pretty much nailed ours on the first shot! My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Aviva! Although we aren't local to NY, Aviva was able to Skype us after work to plan our ceremony and learn about us as a couple! She then took what she had learned to draft an amazing ceremony that was almost perfect -- our edits were through no fault of her own, she did a great job capturing what we said, we just decided to make some edits after seeing it in writing to really make it our ideal ceremony -- and after just one round of edits, we had the ceremony of our dreams! She did not push back at all in the few changes, and the ceremony was amazing.

During our first meeting, she was also great about making recommendations about what we could include (some of which were our favorite parts of the ceremony, and were complimented by our guests!) and was not offended if we chose not to include other suggestions.

Aviva made it clear that the ceremony was the most important part of the day, and it was so incredibly special, we genuinely feel like it was.

Aviva was great 100% of the time from start to finish. She’s been doing this long enough to know what could potentially go wrong if things get out of hand with all the wedding craziness day of but keeps everyone focused and on track. Aviva was absolutely wonderful!!! From the first e-mail to the day of our wedding, every interaction with her was outstanding!! Meeting with her was a very surreal experience; she asks questions that really give an intense insight into your relationship which helps make the ceremony unique and personal. We had guests coming up to us at our reception and weeks after the wedding saying how touching the ceremony was. Everyone had the same comment “I’ve never been to a ceremony like that before, it was so personal”. It wasn’t long boring or drawn out, it was simple and sweet and captured our essence as a couple perfectly!! Aviva has a very special skill and can read people very well. She is intuitive and personable and she just gets it!! I would HIGHLY recommend Aviva!!! What a great experience!

Aviva was amazing! We were recommended to her because she is fluent in "geek." She created a funny, light-hearted, beautiful ceremony for us, full of pop-culture references and personalized vows. She took our ideas and combined them with some great ones of her own to make the perfect wedding ceremony for us. She is wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend her to anyone! All our guests loved her and we did as well.

She was very communicative about the marriage process and everything we needed to do to make it go smoothly. She e-mailed us everything we needed, exactly as she said she would. We have an amazing ceremony book she made for us to look back on through the years to come.

My husband's sister got married back in December 2015 and hired Aviva Sala to conduct her ceremony. We thought she did a fantastic job, and decided to use her for our own wedding in November 2017. We met with her over the summer to discuss details on our ceremony for about an hour and half. She was very thorough - asked us questions on how we met, our personalities, things we looked for in each other, etc. - and she was able to put it all together in a very personalized ceremony. Her voice is kind, warm, and soothing. The way she told our love story during the ceremony was perfect - she paused right before the punch line, and the guests went wild! We also had a sand ceremony before we exchanged vows, and my sand was not pouring gracefully out of the bottle and got stucked - but Aviva played it off so casually, no one noticed the hiccup. Aviva did an amazing job at our wedding, and I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony! She is very accommodating, listens, and delivers exceptional service!

Aviva is amazing! This was a second wedding for both of us. Aviva is smart, caring, patient, creative, and so accommodating. She has a beautiful speaking voice and just the perfect balance of seriousness and humor. She is warm and calming, and made the entire process so easy. Aviva spent a great deal of time getting to know us and understand "our story." She helped us to incorporate our children and family into the ceremony in a way that was beautiful, comfortable and meaningful for all of us. Aviva has wonderful ideas and creatively helped us add some Jewish Traditions in just the right way. We felt our ceremony truly reflected our love and relationship, and was special and unique to us. When Andrew & I were looking for an officiant, I knew after a phone call that Aviva would be the right person to marry us. Something about her genuine warmth made me decide right then and there that I wanted to book her immediately. Fortunately for us, she exceeded all of our expectations, not only at our ceremony, but throughout the process. I cannot begin to tell you how NERVOUS I was. I kept wondering if I would faint, would I need to sit? could I get through it? (at 36 weeks pregnant). Aviva, was readily avaliable by phone to chat with me, or just a quick e-mail away to answer any questions or concerns I was having. During the ceremony, Aviva captured our love story flawlessly! She was fun, engaging with our guests, and made me feel SO CALM! What nerves!?! It's almost a week later and we are still getting compliments about Aviva; stating how wonderful she was. Aviva was absolutely amazing! When we first started planning our wedding we were so worried about finding the perfect officiant. We were planning an offbeat wedding and were scared of an officiant not being into the whole idea. We came across Aviva and meeting her put all of our worries aside! She was so excited for all of our ideas and even had some of her own! We knew she was the one for us and booked her immediately! She wrote us the best customized ceremony. Her words are absolutely amazing, she had everybody in tears (and giggles!). She was sure to incorporate everything we wanted and was so flexible on making changes where needed. We heard of Aviva through a friend of ours. I spoke with her on the phone the first time (didnt meet her face to face) and I booked her within the half hr we spoke. She had a very reassuring and pleasant demeanor. Aviva was VERY good at keeping in touch from day one (email and phone) and answered every single question I had. The day of came and she was punctual, smiling and gave this nervous bride a dry run and the rest went of the ceremony went off without a hitch. We cannot express our gratitude to Aviva for our wedding ceremony. About 3 weeks before our big day, we had to scramble to find a new officiant and got so lucky when we found Aviva through my sister-in-law. She was responsive immediately and flexible to set up a meeting with us ASAP. She took the time to really get to know us and make sure that or personalized ceremony touched on everything we wanted it to. She was so easy to talk to and coached us though our ceremony flawlessly. Not a single guest at our wedding hasn't commented on how beautiful our ceremony was, and it's all thanks to her.

When my husband and I booked our wedding at The Royalton, we had no idea how to choose or what to look for in a wedding officiant. The Royalton had made some suggestions and we were able to find the amazing Reverend Aviva. I had looked at her ceremony videos prior to reaching out to her and I knew that she would be perfect for our ceremony. Meeting with Reverend Aviva to go over ceremony details was easy and fun. To say I'm over the moon about my wedding ceremony is an understatement. We used Aviva for our 5/12/17 wedding at The Fox Hollow. In the early stages of our wedding planning, my mom mentioned that Aviva, a former colleague of her’s officiates weddings and we soon discovered that Aviva also happened to be a recommended vendor of our venue, so it was a perfect match! We watched some of her videos of past ceremonies and read reviews and could immediately tell that she would create a beautiful ceremony for us. Aviva takes your journey as a couple and your vows for the future and creates something amazing; we were so excited to share such a special moment with our family and friends. We did not want a religious ceremony and we really wanted our wedding to reflect us and Aviva did exactly that. Our entire wedding day was such a whirlwind and so much of it was a blur, but my husband and I both keep saying that we most vividly remember our ceremony which I think speaks to how special Aviva made it. Our guests keep complimenting how beautiful our ceremony was! Aviva was patient with any changes we made and was open to any of our ideas, including our “to infinity and beyond” switch for “till death do us part” and countless other personal touches. We are so happy to have had Aviva marry us and help make a memory that will truly last a lifetime, would happily recommend her to anyone who wants a truly personal and beautiful ceremony!

On April 21st I married my best friend and Aviva help make it the best night of my life. Aviva is incredible. My husband and I were in a real pinch - set to get married in a few days, and all of our officiants had fallen through. Aviva not only responded to us immediately when we called her, but put us at such ease. I knew from the moment I got her on the phone she was going to be wonderful. She helped us every step of the way and put together a truly beautiful ceremony for us - in such a short amount of time. We opted for a civil ceremony that was very similar to the one listed as the sample on the Church of the Ancient Ways website she directed us to. Despite building off a sample, our ceremony felt unique to us and very special, as we made small tweaks to fit us better. I also appreciated having a sample to build from - it helped my husband and I really picture what we wanted. Our wedding was very small and intimate, in my parents' living room with about 15 guests. She struck just the right tone for our ceremony, and stuck to exactly what we discussed beforehand. We also really appreciated how professional, detailed, prompt and helpful she was - both before and after the ceremony. She provided us with everything we could need afterwards as well - info on how to change names, how to track our marriage certificate, etc. Aviva is a warm, thoughtful person, in addition to a top-notch professional and I would recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant - whether your wedding was small and at home like ours, or large and in a more traditional wedding setting. She is the best!

My husband and I could not have loved Rev. Sala more! From the moment we met her, we both felt as though we have known her forever! She made us feel extremely comfortable even when we were extremely nervous. She guided us and helped us every step of the way! The ceremony was beyond perfect. We are yet another incredibly grateful and indebted husband and wife who will always think back to their wedding day with fond memories of what our guests continue to describe as the most beautiful ceremony they have ever witnessed. Finding Aviva was a blessing, and we knew the moment we sat with her to talk about us as a couple and discuss the kind of wedding ceremony we wanted that she would make it a meaningful and memorable one. She personalized it and sent us several drafts to make sure we were 100% happy with the wording and order of the sections. She is truly gifted in the art of writing and adding humor where it's appropriate, and from the very beginning we loved everything she composed for us. On the wedding day she got to our venue early and while I waited in the bridal suite she came to check on me often to see how I was feeling, to give me updates on what was happening outside and to tell me how much time was left before commencing. She even resolved my MOH's mini pre-ceremony crisis of having lost her earring backing by giving her one of her own! Nothing phases her and she is cool, calm and collected which in turn kept my fiancée and I calm. She sat with us before we walked down the aisle to go over all the details of our ceremony and reassure us everything would turn out beautifully. Her gentle nature and peaceful, soothing voice mesmerized our guests and as a result there were very few dry eyes left by the time we were done. We opted for an unplugged ceremony and that was one of the best options she gave us...in the end our guests were happy they were reminded of the significance of being present in the moment. She followed up with us a few days after the wedding to give us the necessary info to keep track of our marriage license processing. She absolutely loves what she does and distinguishes every couple by their special qualities. She will always occupy a special place our hearts, and I know this rings true for every couple she's worked with.

I can't even begin to say enough positive things about Aviva. I feel like the universe pointed us in her direction - we ended up finding her through a few other people, and I could not be happier that we did! She was so incredibly warm, kind, and invested in us from the first time we made contact. We decided to go with creating a personal ceremony which was the best decision we made!
