Our Wedding Reception At Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steak House
The first time we went here was for valentine's day. We were so amazed with the place, the food, staff, that we decided to have our wedding reception here. We wanted to gather more information about the reservation of the place and services for events, so the manager Jesus put us in contact with the coordinator Katie. She was helpful from the beginning with picking the room. She provided information of wedding decorations companies. Due to the COVID19 Pandemic we were not able to get our decorations through the rental companies, so she helped us out with a few table cloths that we were missing to have the decorations that we wished for.
The staff team decorated the place so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. Also, they make you feel welcomed from the minute you cross the door to go inside the restaurant. They always make sure their customers feel pleased without annoying you. The FOOD was delicious not just for us but for all of our guests. Our guests were stunned with the salad bar, the bar, and even the music. We also had the pleasure of hiring the brazilian singer Lois and of enjoying the variety of music she was able to play. I can honestly say that thanks to Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steak House and staffs we had the private wedding we wished for.

Overly satisfied
Communication is always the leading factor in any exchange and we were highly satisfied with the exchange here. The venue is already appealing to the eye, and the added responsiveness to all of our questions for a wedding reception and reception secured it. There was never anything unanswered, or not clarified which is all one ever wants. The food was delicious, staff was amazing and Katie...Katie is EVERYTHING! Amazing & Stress free!
Avenida was such a great place to host our small Civil wedding celebration of 30 people. They offered a lot of extras as well in case we needed it to be larger, but were very informative and helpful!
She gave me honest recommendations on what we should order and what not to get to overspend, and their pricing was so great! Food as always was delicious, and space was perfect. Their team did a great job educating us on the different cuts of meat and had wonderful service.
Being Brazilian myself, I always am looking for the best Churrascaria and the prices they offer, and Avenida came through as our best option! I highly recommend! -

Katie and Avenida Brazil - Woodlands are the BEST!!! Everything arranged perfectly and facility was helpful in setup and AS ALWAYS, the food and service were impeccable! The Owner even stepped in to help out during the evening and just made the night even better. Thanks to Him and Katie for making this a memorable evening for my son and his bride! -

We loved our experience and all help provided
We only did reception in the venue but we loved all of it. Communication was super easy and straightforward. Process to make reservation is easy through a website and includes an area for tasks pending. Service was amazing, we always felt like we were top priority. We loved the venue in general and food was amazing. -

Had a nice dinner
Due to Covid-19 we had to move and also downsize the number of guess for our rehearsal dinner. Avenida Brazil was great in letting us move the date, and reducing the number of guess too. We had a small private area, and the food keep coming, and coming everyone left full and happy. Service was great, we also had at least one waiter checking on us, throughout the dinner. -

Intimate Wedding Reception Dinner
The booking of my private dinner was done with ease. Katie got back to me quickly after my initial request and helped to answer all my questions throughout the reservation process. When the day finally came, our Hostess Michelle was awesome! She explained the process of how everything works and was very nice and attentive throughout the night. She enjoyed hosting as much as we enjoyed being there... Then to top it off, the food was delicious! Great service and great food is always a good combo. Look forward to coming back! -

Food was a top priority
Let me just start off by saying the au gratin potatoes was everyone’s favorite! Shout out to my coordinator Stephanie Ton from Peachy Events for 1. Recommending them and 2. The free hookup to upgrade to these potatoes!! 🤤 We had Avenida cater our wedding of 109 guests and I’m so happy we did!! Everyone could not stop telling me how amazing the food was! We chose to have buffet style and we opted for the chef’s buffet (I think that’s what it was called. Katie, the catering coordinator, recommended it to us!) We had steak AND chicken, not just one! We also had passed appetizers for cocktail hour. It all worked out budget wise also! Food was a top priority on our wedding list and I’m a foodie so I can not recommend them enough!! Also, Katie was awesome throughout this whole process! Very personable, responsive, and understanding of our budget! She’ll make it work for ya! -

Highly recommend for special events!
My wife and I were very pleased with the overall experience. Sydney Plas, the Event Planner, was very helpful prior to the event giving us useful information and options to help make the many decisions regarding the room set-up, food, drink and draft itinerary for the event. When we arrived the day of the event, the room was set up beautifully and everything that we requested was in place. Each setting even included the menu for the evening so the guests knew what to expect. The salad bar and food, including the 10 different meats, were the best. The servers were also hustling to keep our drinks filled. Everyone included in the overall process acted very professional. I also feel the cost was very reasonable for all we received. I would definitely recommend Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse - Houston Area for anyone looking to host a special occasion. -

Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse catered my daughter's wedding and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our initial meeting with Katie great and stress free! Katie offered us so many options and was delightful to work with. The food, I can't say enough about the food, it was absolutely perfect! Guests still talk to me, 6 months later, about how delicious the food was the beautiful presentation of the Grazing Table. If you want a stress free experience with 5 star food, Avenida is the caterer for you. -

Fantastic Food, Great Service and Stress-free!
I had my wedding at Avenida Brazil in the Woodlands and I’d like to say I couldn’t have imagined it better. As the bride, I can say that it was incredibly stress free! I was able to enjoy every moment of it! The staff was fantastic! Very courteous and attentive to our guests! Not to mention the DELICIOUS FOOD!! I also got to decorate it exactly how I wanted it and it looked even better! All within our budget too—Melissa and Casey worked with our budget and gave us ideas on how we could decorate the private room, and it all came together beautifully!! Every single guest that attended LOVED the food; my husband and I even went back a couple of months later to eat there again! Melissa and Casey went above and beyond for my special day and I highly recommend having your wedding at Avenida Brazil! -

Dream Wedding
I love love loved my wedding venue of choice! The staff were attentive, the wedding coordinator was always available, and the food was simply amazing. My entire ordeal was perfect from top to bottom all the way to the communication. This gave me the wedding I could afford but the wedding I dreamed of! -

Avenida did a phenomenal job with catering for our wedding! Our guests were very pleased with the options and taste of the food! Everyone that worked with us at Avenida were very patient, really focused on the details, and put in their best effort to make our night even more memorable. Amazing and so easy!
Avienda was the most stress free and cooperative venue we could find. From the beginning Katie was responsive and answered every question numerous times. My family changed the guest list 4 times and Katie was unfazed! She helped with decor, menu, and even made menu cards that were so beautiful and special. The food was phenomenal and our guests we're thrilled! -

Our Special Day
Melissa did an awesome job with coordinating our wedding. We came to her with about a week and half to go before our wedding. She did not fret because of the short notice, in fact she helped us stay calm and she assured all would go well with the day of our event. She was professional, with a great personality and was so helpful with pointing us in the right direction to vendors that were able to fulfill our request on short notice. This is the best place in The Woodlands for a small, quaint wedding. The staff is extremely professional, the venue is stunning and are beyond excited you chose THEM for your special day. If you want a hassle free wedding and an intimate ambience this is the place to have it at!! Katie our coordinator helped us every step in the process of planning our wedding down to the small details that every bride wants. The staff, manager, everyone at the restaurant helped on our big day to make sure everything flowed perfectly. Our guests LOVED the menu options and kept telling us how good it was. You can't go wrong with this restaurant and it definitely will always have a special place in our hearts on our wedding day. We will have to go back every anniversary!!!! Be sure to get the lemonade it is the best!!!!-

Melissa Abrantes and The restaurant manager, Elvis and their staff at The Woodlands location helped create a wonderful and memorable experience for my wedding. I had my wedding at Tradicao(now called Avenida) in March and it was the best venue. Melissa, our event coordinator was with me every step of the way. She answered all my questions and gave great advice. We had 100 guests in attendance and everyone kept telling me how wonderful the food was. A lot of our guest have never been to Avenida and now eat there on a regular basis. Great food and great service!!!!-

We knew early on that we wanted to have a small, intimate wedding with just our closest friends and family. We felt really strongly about not spending too much money, but also having a special night that we could all enjoy and celebrate. I quickly became discouraged at the very limited amount of choices in venues and restaurants that offered exactly what we were looking for. Then I found Avenida. Melissa was very responsive and took the time to explain everything to me. She kept in constant contact and always answered all my phone calls and emails leading up to the event. The room inside the venue and the room that we used for the ceremony were very beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing and a very good value for your money. We can't wait to go back for our anniversary! -

I had Avenida cater my wedding and they did such a phenomenal job! The food was absolutely amazing! Friends and family still compliment me on our food to this day! My husband and I decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Tradicao, since we are very familiar with the restaurant. We were beyond fortunate to have meet Melissa Abrantes, she is the best coordinator. Melissa is very attentive and responsive. She made my experience as the bride fantastic! I always knew that my wedding would be small and private. Our wedding was held in their presidents room, it was the most beautiful day of my life! Knowing I wanted a small wedding 38 people to be exact I began my search for a venue that would be a one stop shop for the majority of my needs. I am so glad and grateful I found and chose Avenida Brazil. I worked with Rachel on the planning of my ceremony and reception that was held in one of the restaurants beautiful private rooms. Working with Rachel was wonderful and she really made the process as easy and stress free as possible. Her communication was excellent and emails and calls were returned quickly. I was able to have the table layout I really wanted, I got the backdrop and back lighting that really made the ceremony space stand out and Rachel and the staff were flexible enough to let me add my special touches that pulled everything together and really made my vision real. I was able to order my wedding cake through them as well which was beautiful and delicious. Now on to the food and service, One word AMAZING! From the staff checking on me in my hideout spot until the ceremony started. I let them know I was nervous and one of the staff members was cracking jokes and put on music for me to calm me down and made sure I had a cool drink. Those little extra details mean a lot. You can tell they love their job and really care about their customers and I really do appreciate that. My guests were really blown away with the level of service they received, many saying that never have they been served and cared for at this level at any other restaurant. The food was absolutely wonderful and plentiful. We left full, extremely happy and very thankful for the amazing evening we experienced at Avenida Brazil. For any bride that may be having a more intimate wedding as I did or even a larger wedding Avenida Brazil is the way to go. I was able to stay with in a decent budget and the service and experience we received was certainly well worth what we spent if not more. Thank You Avenida Brazil for making my wedding that much more special! -

We celebrated our wedding here. The service was excellent and well worth the money. We rented out the Amazonas room for our wedding reception and a little side room for the civil ceremony It was nice to be able to have our guests walk right into the reception after the ceremony. We had a lot of anxiety about an all large wedding; so, we didn’t have one originally planned. Instead, we had this beautiful room at Avenida Brazil prepared freshly for our gathering, exactly to our specifications. Hilary was our coordinator. She is fantastic and always made sure that everything was right from the beginning until the day of the event. She kept in contact with us all the time, and made sure we felt totally comfortable and at ease throughout the planning process and on the big day. We really enjoyed the menu because they served authentic Brazilian food. We started out our celebration with the beef and shrimp empanadas which were extremely tasty, then we made a trip to the salad bar full of greens, veggies, fruit and lobster bisque. Following, we were offered perfectly seasoned cuts of beef and hot sides. We could choose from as many as ten different cuts of meat that came around to the table. Though, they have more options available if you decide to have more choices. The very best of all the meat cuts to me was picanha, but believe me, everything was delicious. Nothing goes down better at a wedding than a live performance, so we decided to have Lois Albez. She is extremely talented and charming and was part of the restaurant’s preferred vendors. We had so many guests tell us what a wonderful time they had at our wedding. I'm glad we chose this place, because it set the tone for a great wedding weekend. Great staff and we definitively recommend it.

We reserved the Amazonian room for our intimate wedding (20) guests. It was so easy from start to finish, Hilary was super helpful and she answered all of the millions of questions that I had. She was available to me whenever I needed her. Jesus at the facility was also amazing, they did a great job of keeping in touch with me about and questions. The night of the event they made sure we never wanted for anything, they treated us lile royalty. All of our guests were super happy and left feeling stuffed, we would definitely use them again. If I could give them a 10 I would. -

Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse is the perfect venue for a small intimate wedding reception. Melissa Abrantes did a wonderful job assessing and meeting all of our questions, requests and needs from our initial consultation to saying goodbye to our last wedding guest. The management and staff were attentive, professional and made all of our guest feel very welcome and comfortable. Needless to say the food was absolutely fabulous-no one went home hungry. As a native Mainer their lobster bisque was some of the best I’ve tasted. Thank you for making my daughter’s wedding perfect. I would highly recommend Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse for any event. I absolutely loved Tradicao!! After searching many banquet halls & restaurants I was starting to lose hope. I couldn't find anything that would fit my needs. All I can say is that I am so blessed to have found Tradicao & Melissa! She went above and beyond to meet all of my needs & budget. Melissa worked with me at all times and was in constant communication, she even helped me with last minute center pieces and decorations. My guests were thrilled with the service, food and over-all experience. My husband and I didn't worry about a thing... Melissa took care of everything for us and offered advice on how to control alcoholic beverages & cost... Most places will overcharge, Melissa and her staff were very honest and didn't overcharge a thing. They were very attentive and very respectful at all times. We can't wait to return to Tradicao!!! We visited Tradicao on Bay Area for a company event with 26 people. They were very accommodating with the Audio and Video that we requested. The service and food was amazing. Loved the salad bar! Everything was fresh, delicious and right on time. The servers were friendly and kept up with drinks and meat rotation. The only thing that was disappointing was that the process wasn't explained very well. Most of us had never been to a brazilian steakhouse and didn't notice the red/green buttons for communication with the servers. -

When my fiancé now husband and I began wedding planning we wanted to have a smaller wedding not only for cost purposes but because we really wanted to share this huge life event with our closest loved ones. I started my search of venues and everyone had outrageous prices. I finally stumbled on Tradicao, let me tell you it was the best decision we ever made. We immediately began talking to Melissa the marketing/private party coordinator. Even though she was planning her wedding that same weekend, Melissa stayed late to meet with husband and I (mind you she was also traveling to France). She gave us an overview of all the services they provided. The next time I met with Melissa we reviewed all our choices. Melissa even brought us some yummy food to snack on while we talked. The choices included the wonderful singer Lois Albez, cake, open type bar for the event, the yummy food, salad bar, and lots of beverages! Tradicao also provided a wonderful florist who made our centerpieces so pretty. We were allowed to bring any type of decorations in as long as we set them up. No matter how many questions I had Melissa always replied to my emails. She even met with us again a month before the event to have a discussion with my husband and "day of coordinator". Again yummy snacks were provided. The day of the wedding everything was so organized. We had Chris (Melissa's brother) helping us with our event. We never had an empty glass because the servers where on top of making sure all our guests had anything they wanted or needed. They set up a cute little cocktail area and had samples of the salad bar for everyone to try. The employees were so friendly and kind and kept telling us congratulations. Our cake was served at no charge. Our toast perfectly planned. . Everyone kept complimenting me on the great party and tasty food. I even had guests love the lobster bisque so much they tried to make it the next day! We are so happy with our wedding venue choice. -

The events coordinator Melissa and her assistant Chris were extremely helpful and well organized. We highly recommend this place for your next big event. The wait staff was attentive and the food was flavorful as always. We held our party for 85 people here last weekend and it went off without a hitch. They were also very flexible and worked with us to make sure that the party was a success – from the room layout to appetizers, the main dinner and all the party extras which they reviewed with us well in advance. In searching for a venue for an anniversary/wedding vow renewal I was frustrated with what we found in the area. It seemed that you could only do this in a huge setting for an extremely large sum off money. Fortunately, we found Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse in Stafford to host our event. The staff was most helpful in planning, providing florist , bakery, and the beautiful setting for exactly what we were looking. The staff was capable and always answered my calls and/or emails. The night of the event they calmed my nerves and help to pull off the surprise my brother wanted for his wife. The food was fabulous, waitstaff was always near, glasses were never empty and we could not have asked for better. Thank you all. -

The restaurant Tradicao Steackhouse localized in Stafford was the perfect place for our Wedding Dinner. We did not have hundred of guests - we were less than 20 persons. I was searching a place with a warm, intimate and classy atmosphere, and in the same time a good quality of meal (meat and Seafood). Tradicao was the best of our choice... Everything was perfect. First, Melissa A. , the coordinator of the event was very nice and flexible. She was listening and be able to arrange all of our request. We booked the Malbec room 1 month before the event ( but they have 2 others rooms with a higher capacity - so don't hesitate to contact them for a visit to make your selection)... and everything came perfectly, the food , the decoration, the flowers. It was an unforgetable night.
All of our guest have enjoyed it. Everybody will keep some great memories.

This past Sunday, we celebrated our parents' 60th wedding anniversary. I was in charge of the event and had to choose the venue. I needed to find a place with a private dining room that would allow us to bring our own musician. In the end, I chose radicao, and I'm so glad I did!
The young lady who does event planning, Melissa, was very gracious and helpful. She made great suggestions and answered all my questions and concerns as quickly as they came up. I wanted to stop by and take a look at the room, Melissa was accommodating and worked with my schedule. On the day of the event, the entire staff was absolutely wonderful, from manager to busboy. The food at Tradicao is amazing! My parents were happy, all our guests very impressed - everyone is still raving about it! We now have a new favorite, a go-to place for all our future special events. If you haven't yet tried Tradicao, you owe it to yourself to do so!

The salad bar had many different items to choose from and was decorated nicely. Loved the grilled shrimp with the salad. All the good tender meat choices were seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. Plus side dishes were all good too. We could have as much salad and meat as we wanted. All the waiters were nice and friendly. There is a wide choice of unlimited drinks to go with the meal with just the $4.00 charge. It includes all the sodas, tea, coffee, guarana drink and Brazilian Limeade which is my favorite. We used the vendor for a wedding reception. Everything in the room was set up in plenty of time. Their staff cut the cake for us and did a good job. The restaurant helped us in obtaining a musician for the evening. He played the saxophone and a couple of other instruments which the guests enjoyed. Our guests gave us a lot of compliments about the evening. Parking lot lights were very bright at night which gave you a safe feeling when you leave. The restaurant has a warm friendly atmosphere. Tradicao is a "Five Star Plus Restaurant". You will enjoy the dining experience. -

We LOVED hosting our wedding at Tradicao Southwest Houston. I had been looking for a smaller venue for my 24 person group and they had a handful of rooms to choose from. We settled on the President's room and it was perfect. From beginning to end, our event was stress free.
The event coordinator was professional and accommodating and made booking the room and reviewing the menus very easy. She also accommodated a cash bar and ordered us a wedding cake. I sent her pictures of how I wanted my cake to look like and the flavors and the day of the event it was there! It came out beautiful!
We had a small ceremony before we ate in the room with the judge. We didn't have many decorations except for a small table at the beginning of the room with our guest book and well wishes.
I highly recommend this venue to coordinate your wedding experience! -

My partner and I were looking for a restaurant with a private room, close to Sugar Land, to host our small (24 guests) wedding reception.
We found exactly what we were looking for at Tradicao. We were able to tour the restaurant, choose from two private rooms, and select the layout for seating. The manager and event planners were wonderful to work with before and during our event and made my life so much easier!
Tradicao also lets you bring in your own flowers, cake, place cards...any vendor you like, or has their own vendors and lots of options to choose from. They gave us access to the room 4 hours before our event to set up, which I found very generous, and offered help at that time. They also accepted delivery of our cake earlier in the day and stored it for us.
The entire evening went flawlessly. The staff was professional and attended to our every need.
If you are considering a private room for a engagement party, rehearsal dinner or reception, I would highly recommended visiting Tradicao for a tour and a meal! -

Fantastic experience!!! Tradicao was a great restaurant to host our wedding. We met with the event coordinator and she answered all of our questions and helped us plan our reception with our family. We had our ceremony in a park nearby then had the reception for our 18 guests in the Presidents room. It was simple, understated and perfect.
We decorated the room with one long and low arrangement in the middle of the table and the event coordinator assisted with our cake and timeline. The food was delicious and so different than a plated meal! Our guests loved being able to choose their food and the shrimp and filet mignon was divine. We loved Marcelino as our server, he was nice and on point. Thank you Tradicao for a wonderful event!

I can not even begin to explain how truly wonderful my wedding was at Tradicao! From the moment that I walked in I was treated like royalty. The staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. There wasn't one moment during the whole night that I was left unsatisfied.
The planning process wasn't as dreadful as i had thought it was going to be. There was already a set menu (no hassle of picking dishes), the rooms could be set up to my liking and beverage packages so that my guest could order as much drinks as they would like.
I worked out a date to go visit the restaurant to check out the room i was going to be in and i was astonished by how elegant it was. The decor had just the right color schemes that left me in awe.
To start off the night we ordered these fruit platters beforehand so that everyone can munch on them while guests were arriving. Once most of the guest had arrived, we made our way to the salad bar. It had a good variety to choose from but I wish that they could open out to more options such as pastas and soups. But then again it is a SALAD bar for a reason. However, it did have some special items such as Hearts of Palm (a Brazilian vegetable), salmon ceviche, and a variety of cheeses.
The real showstoppers were the meats. They're extremely delicious!!! One of the gauchos walked passed me with a skewer of lamb chops and I was in love. The meats are cooked just as you please and its like you died and went to heaven. I have never eaten so much in my life! Some meats I would recommend are the filet mignon, lamb chops, and shrimp.
During our meal we had a marvelous saxophonist play for me and my husband. The live entertainment was a unique touch that Tradicao provided. They also provided me with a fabulous wedding cake. My cake was 3 tiers, completely white, ad decorated as if i were and elegant cloud.
Overall it was a splendid experience. I recommend this place if you want to have the an amazing wedding with outstanding service. -
