I HIGHLY recommend Avela, Amy and her team! The flowers they sourced, their design inputs, and the final product were more magical and stunning than I could have ever hoped for. Amy was a core part of the design for our wedding. She came with us to pick out the rentals, advise on color palettes, textures and what would look best in the space. She has an incredible eye and her experience in so many different venues and florals shines. I shared an initial pinterest board with her and some of my favorite flowers and she came back with exactly what I was looking for and more. It was such an enjoyable and fun process working with her and letting her imagination and creativity come through. She even went as far as to source a rose that was the exact coral of the napkins we picked together. It's the little things she adds and how she can take a big idea and make it so unique and special to you. I could not have asked for a better florist or experience, thank you Amy and team!! -

Best florist ever
Amy is the absolute greatest florist you can find out in the Berkshires, let alone New England. Everything she touches is gold - truly magnificent work. She saw the vision before we even could and executed everything perfectly. There is no doubt you should use her for your wedding or any event! I may try to get remarried just to work with Amy again…

Best florist ever.
Working with Avela Floral Design for our wedding weekend florals was one of the best decisions we made in our planning process. Amy worked with us from start to finish to create a vision that we didn't even know we had and made our entire weekend so beautiful with her amazing talent. Amy was extremely communicative and transparent with us throughout the process, which allowed us to not have to worry about the details and let her take charge because we trusted her to execute! We also appreciated that Amy was very willing and able to work within our budget, and was very flexible throughout the entire process. She is also extremely committed to sustainability, which was very important to us. On top of all of this, Amy is a very lovely person and so wonderful to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Avela Floral Design for any of your floral needs! -

What a glorious wedding Amy with Avela Floral Design helped to create for Alexandra and Andrew's fall wedding in the Berkshires (Wyndhurst Mansion/Miraval, October 5th, 2024)! The flowers were extraordinary! I particularly loved the Bride's bouquet and how the balance of rich, deep colors mixed with a few lighter florals against the palette of our wedding party attire enhanced the elegant look!
Amy's eye for artistic design and beauty wowed us and our guests - everything from the church to the reception to the extraordinary tent greenery and ballroom ceiling installation decor were spectacular. Even during brunch the next day guests were blown-away by the breathtaking centerpiece arrangements, especially when seen in the fresh, bright mid-morning sunlight. Amy's combination of distinctive florals (with some individual flowers so unique and fun they could stand alone!) really made the arrangements a work of art!
We truly appreciated working with Amy. Her professionalism, attention to detail, creativity and very pleasant personality made her a pleasure to work with! -

Amy is incredible! Not only is she conscientious about sourcing local flowers and flexible when it comes to iterating on design, she also has a refined eye for design that guided our choices for our rehearsal dinner and reception tablescapes. Amy was always responsive throughout the planning process, and a true joy to work with. One favorite element was how she used my floral rehearsal dinner dress as inspiration for the flowers that evening - the result was absolutely stunning! -

Amy and her team at Avela did the florals for my wedding on 8/24/24. If you are looking for a florist who is personable and detail-oriented, an absolute artist with floral arrangement, flexible and creative, and focuses on sustainability and giving back to the community, you MUST hire Avela Floral.
Amy immediately understood my vision from her initial proposal (incredibly detailed and artfully put together). Yet, when I saw her work come to life on my wedding day I was absolutely awe-struck by the beauty and artistry of the florals. Truly the best experience I could have asked for! -

Incredible
We loved Amy from the moment we met her, and the flowers for our wedding were stunning! I cannot count how many guests came up to tell us just how incredible the flowers were and how much they loved them. From day one, Amy was easy to work with and willing to tweak things in our proposal until they were exactly what we envisioned. Her creativity is boundless. I'll never forget the moment Amy arrived to our venue on the morning of our wedding. I felt like I was stepping into a fairytale when she opened the doors to the van overflowing with flowers. Amy is an exceptional florist, and I feel so lucky to have worked with her! Highly, highly recommend. -

Amy is absolutely amazing to work with. I wasn’t able to hire a full florist for my wedding (although I wish I could have because Amy’s work is GORGEOUS) so I approached Amy to see if she could make bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids. She made the process so easy, had someone deliver them straight to my venue on the day of, and they were absolutely gorgeous. I was going for a unique and eccentric vibe and she totally nailed it. I got so many compliments. And above all, Amy is so kind, caring and clearly takes care in all of her work, big or (in my case) small! -

From our first conversation to the day of the wedding, Amy was easy to work with and understood our vision. She took our ideas and inspiration to the next level. I hope this review is as perfect as the flowers were on my wedding day. Amy was INCREDIBLE! I got married in the fall, so I wanted soft fall colors to pull through in my flowers and boy did she nail it! I also wanted greenery only for the bridesmaids so that my bouquet popped a bit more and they were just lovely. She was super easy to communicate with and even adjusted the proposal midway through when I had a slight change of heart. The flowers were the most complimented part of my day and I made it a top priority to preserve them the minute my wedding was over. I want to keep them forever!! I could not be happier and cannot recommend Avela highly enough!! Thank you, Amy ♥️ -

There aren't enough words in the world to express the gratitude that I have for Avela Floral Design. Amy is a true visionary! I came to her with a crazy dream of a tent filled with hanging florals. I wanted something that I had never seen done before! She made that dream come to life. She was a true teammate, a 'let's make it happen' type of vendor, and has the most amazing artistic eye. She was extremely communicative and an absolute joy to work with. From the bouquets to the bud vases on our tables, everything was perfection. Then there was the tent. Amy and her team individually hung 790 flowers from the ceiling of to achieve our secret garden goals. Walking under the tent for the first time is truly a moment I will never forget. It was absolutely magical, and became even more magical as the night went on.
I am SO thankful that I had the opportunity to work with Avela's for my wedding. A vendor that felt like a friend more than a vendor, a vendor that listened, and a vendor that was willing to do everything she could to achieve my dreams. Don't look anywhere else for your florals. Amy and her team and Avela Floral Design is IT! -

Amy and the Avela are floral artists!
Amy's Avela Floral Design team did an absolutely spectacular job with the floral arrangements for my small, intimate wedding. With only two conversations, Amy totally understood the look and feel of what I was looking for. She and her team executed impeccable. In particular, their work contribute to a wedding dinner experience that felt magical. Two 12- foot Flower garlands hanging from the barn rafters hovering above the table, beautiful flowers and candles on the big table creating a sense of glowing light from the center. I was thrilled. It was even better than I had imagined it. -

Amazingly Talented
We are so grateful to have worked with Amy as our wedding florist. She's amazingly talented and kind. Her floral design surpassed what we could have imagined for our garden wedding. I wish I could have kept my beautiful bouquet forever! If you're looking for a florist we would definitely recommend her and would love to work with her again. -

Words cannot express how much my husband and I enjoyed working with Amy and her team for our wedding! From the first time I spoke with Amy, she knew how to bring my vision to life. Throughout the planning process, she was flexible with any changes, professional and timely with proposals and budgeting, and always recommended beautiful and creative pieces to highlight our special day. Seeing the bouquet she had created for me on the morning of our wedding brought me to tears! Each piece - from the wedding party flowers to the ceremony arch and table centerpieces, were each so unique and beautiful. Wedding guests still talk about our floral pieces from that day. I cannot say enough great things about Amy and her team. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist! -

Amazing florist who goes above and beyond!
Amy was able to understand our vision from our first phone call. She was always very responsive and ensured that we had everything we wanted throughout the whole process. Amy also went above and beyond, and made sure that our vision of the florals was cohesive with the design of the entire wedding by attending meetings with our wedding coordinators at the rentals warehouse. She always offered to go to extra in-person meetings, responded to emails with detailed information/photographs/and renderings, and was available by phone as well. But this was all even before the wedding - the actual floral arrangements for our rehearsal dinner and wedding were INCREDIBLE! They were truly breathtaking - from the ceremony centerpiece, to the rehearsal dinner table arrangements (that she saved us money by having them repurposed as cocktail hour arrangements!), to the perfect bud vases and floral arrangements at our reception - everything was stunning. We received so many compliments on our guests on the beautiful and unique arrangements and we ourselves were so overjoyed. Amy was such a pleasure to work with and her team worked tirelessly to ensure that everything looked amazingly beautiful at our wedding and we could not recommend her more highly! -

Amy was, in a word, incredible. Not only were her flowers beautiful, but she was so creative - bringing my crazy, unformed vision to life.
