Fantastic to work with!
The Avec team has been a pleasure to work with since the day we decided to hire them. The company already came with a very good reputation and we knew of friends and family that had used them in the past. The team was adaptive to our requests, responsive to our questions, and agreeable to all the changes we had throughout the planning process. During the week and weekend of our wedding, the team was very cooperative despite some last-minute logistical challenges and worked very hard to pull off a successful event. Their collaboration with the video team (Greycard, another great team) was seamless and it added to the overall experience of working with them. We really enjoyed working with Duc and would strongly recommend the Avec team for your videography needs. -

Excellent Wedding Videographer - Professional, Kind and Creative!

Just fantastic
Duc - Priyanka and I cannot thank you and your team enough for the fantastic videography you captured for our memorable wedding in September. Every detail was captured and left us on the edge of our seats. Recognizing the amount of time it takes to one capture the shots, then culminate it into both a highlight reel and subsequently a larger video, along with accommodating some of our requests with our music as well - you have been nothing but extraordinary. The absolute BEST wedding videographer ever!!
I have been a huge fan of Duc's work in capturing South Asian weddings for a very long time so when he was available for the dates of our wedding, I was ecstatic! Avec Lumiere shot all of our pre-wedding events leading up to our wedding day and I cannot express how beautifully he and Claire captured everything! Duc and Claire made the entire process so great - they were professional, easy to work with, gave us amazing direction and were genuinely just very kind people to have. I am still obsessing over our Same Day Edit video and everyone that we showed it to was amazed at how beautifully they showcased our wedding. I cannot thank Duc and Claire enough for being a part of our special day and would recommend anyone and everyone looking for the most skilled videographer to hire Avec Lumiere!

Wonderful to work with!
We worked with Duc and his team for our wedding in June 2021 and they were phenomenal!!! Super professional and easy to work with. Duc is also very communicative, not just prior to the wedding after, but the day of he gave us lots of direction. Additionally we used him to set up our live streaming, and it turned out great. We had family from all over the country and world that could join because of that. Thank you Duc for making our day smoother and so special!! It was a pleasure working with you! Would recommend to anyone! -

The BEST Wedding Videographer!
I hired Duc and his team for my wedding this past August, after they did an absolutely flawless job at my sister's wedding 6 years ago...and needless to say they are still the absolute BEST in the business. I can't stop watching our highlight reel - it so perfectly captures the best moments of our special day, and is so fun to watch! On top of that, Duc and his team are such a joy to work with. They are beyond worth it. Hire them - you won't regret it! -

Absolutely amazing and seamless!
Working with Duc and Omar was awesome! Duc made the entire arrangement so seamless, from booking him to choosing songs and music, to actually working with the DJ to make my same day edit come to life, it was amazing. This was one vendor that we did not have to worry about at all, and everything came together perfectly! They were timely, produced an amazing video, and very professional. 10/10 would recommend!! -

Duc had come highly recommended for our Indian wedding in Marina del Rey, and rightfully so - he did an incredibly job! He and his team were versatile, flexible, and very responsive to last-minute changes in our itinerary and even which days we wanted videography for pre-wedding events. He knows Indian weddings backwards and forwards and is as adept with drone footage as he is with a traditional video camera, which has made our wedding videos even that much more amazing. We were lucky to have him be available for our wedding weekend! -

I got married in November 2016 and Avec Lumiere came highly recommended. Duc was really sweet and easy to work with in bidding out the proposal and listening to what we wanted. On top of that, we really liked his work from his portfolio.
His team arrived to our hotel on the day of the wedding led by Nathan to film me and the bridal party while another crew member showed up at our house to film the groom's side. On the day of the wedding, I honestly did not get to talk to the videographers a lot and didn't put a lot of input into the filming. When the night was over, I was kind of scared of the lack of communication and that I hardly noticed they were there but I'll be darned...
They are PROFESSIONALS at what they do and the video was AMAZING. Someone put it into perspective for me that the videographers shouldn't be that noticeable so that we are in a more natural state. When I finally watched the video, they caught every special moment in such beautiful ways. I honestly told Duc that the video was even better than how I remembered my wedding. ^_^ THANK YOU AVEC LUMIERE!

We couldn't be more pleased with the work that Duc and his team did for our wedding. Originally we were on the fence about whether or not to get a videographer, but going with Duc and Avec Lumiere was one of the best decisions we made. Duc perfectly captured the wedding just as I remember it (and also got parts that I had never seen!). The video is super professional, and is very special to us.
Apart from his obvious talent in video production, Duc super easy to work with. When you're planning a wedding, you have a million things to think about, so choosing vendors that know what they're doing makes your life so much easier. Duc was super responsive any time we needed to contact him. On the wedding day, his team showed up on time, and gave us nothing to worry about. They were also super patient and accommodating when the bridesmaids were late to the photoshoot (these things happen). After the wedding, Duc updated us on the progress of his editing, and followed up several times afterward to make sure we were happy with his work. I couldn't recommend him more! I'm so happy I went with Duc and his team for my wedding videography! I actually had decided to go with Avec Lumiere because I loved a highlight video they had done for one of my girlfriend's weddings. I had the pleasure of working with Avec Lumeire for our Wedding Celebration. Antoine and his team are very creative cinematographer and did an amazing job capturing the moment. Be prepared to laugh. Antoine will make sure that even though your wedding celebration is probably one of the most stressful moments in your life, you can still put on a smile for the camera. Once the dust settles, you would regret that you had a frown instead of a crinkle on your cheek. I highly recommend anyone looking at a videographer to talk to Avec Lumiere. If my family can give them a pat in the back that means we made a good decision. Thanks for amazing time. Good thing people only get married once.

Duc Nguyen and his team at Avec Lumiere are video production Geniuses!!
The 6+ minute wedding highlights video of our wedding simply knocked our sock off. Even on the 153rd viewing of it, the highlight video still puts enormous grins on our faces.
Absolutely brilliant editing,stunning photography, and incredible sound. We are thrilled with how the video came out. All the little touches really capture the spirit of our wedding day.
Here's what we love about Avec Lumiere and Duc:
1. Duc is really easy to work with. From the first telephone contact his pleasant demeanor made us feel relaxed. Email and phone messages were given prompt replies. He really listened to us and made certain he got a sense of what things we wanted from our videographer.
2. The videography is top notch. We've seen plenty of wedding videos that are not much more than static footage from a camera mounted on a tripod. Duc and his team are in constant motion capturing different angles, moving with the action, and focusing on many different aspects of the event. Duc uses a steady cam to great effect -- it makes a HUGE difference in the quality and feel of the video. Our friends keep telling us how professional the video looks.
3. Duc really captured our personalities. We were pleasantly surprised at how observant Duc was. He listened closely to what was said during the ceremony and reception, and he watched us interact as a couple. He then found a way to combine footage from our wedding day so as to reflect those observations. The result is a video that is thoughtful, cohesive, and a perfect representation of our wedding day.
4. The sound quality is outstanding. Duc patches his equipment in to the venue's sound system in order to capture everyone's voice directly.
5. The editing is brilliant. The highlights video is like a movie trailer, telling a story that feels alive.
We cannot recommend Avec Lumiere enough !!

I cannot express in a small paragraph how amazing Duc and his team were but I will try my best. From day one, Duc went out of his to meet with me and go over every little detail. I was so grateful because I was so incredibly picky with how I wanted our video to be since it's the most important thing we'd have to capture our wedding along with photos. I knew I'd watch the video over and over again so it had to be almost perfect. Perfection is what Duc and his team delivered. Not only is their work high quality but they are also completely professional and go ABOVE AND BEYOND with their customer service. I have already highly recommended them to three of my family members who have already used them and were extremely happy with their choice and one who has already booked them! I will continue spreading the good word about Duc and his team because everyone should have their special events captured and Avec Lumiere is the best te to do it. Avec was by far one of our best vendors during the wedding planning process. Duc was always accessible email and he's so nice and easy to work with. I gave Avec Lumiere a perfect review because the service we received from them was nothing short of perfect. They were incredibly easy to work with and were a pleasure to have around on the wedding day. They blended right into the background of the crazy day with ease, captured all of the moments we wanted, and the end product was a beautifully edited and personalized wedding video. They can definitely handle large weddings, we had a 400 person wedding and they captured everything!
Also in terms of flexibility, Duc and his team were incredibly client-focused. They listened to any changes I needed and made them promptly with no problems at all. Wedding videographers can be very expensive and it is tough to find one that provides great value. Avec Lumiere is one of the few that provides a truly great value. -

AWESOME videographer! Received tons of complements on my same day edit. Several guests told me it was the best same day edit they ever saw, one told me it looked like a scene from a high budget movie! Duc was super fast and responsive when we were inquiring his services.
Very creative, thought of angles/video ideas I would have never thought of. Attentive to detail, made sure there was no wardrobe issues =). Very knowledgeable, knew what time of day was best to shoot rooftop, west/east side of building.
Prompt, courteous and very considerate. Unobtrusively filmed touching moments of my wedding, ie I almost cried and he zoomed out to capture the emotions without capturing my make up running.
Captured me in flattering angles... either I lost a ship ton of weight the day of my wedding, my make up artist had voodoo magic in her body foundation or Duc was really good at capturing me in a flattering way.
I would definitely choose this videographer! Happy, happy, happy that I did! -

Great team, super efficient, friendly, stress free and easy to work with. They work around you, they go with the flow and not demanding on the bride and groom at all. The end product is just amazing. We are super happy to have them film our wedding. The quality of the video the talent of editing the video makes it look like a romantic movie. They know how to capture the moment. Our wedding is a dream come true and we were so lucky to have Avec Lumiere Production create such a fairy tale romance of our day with their magical touch. There were so many memorable moments, everyone's expressions and the true feelings captured on camera that took our breaths away.
Duc is truly a master of cinematography, pairing every lovely detail with beautiful soundtrack. Every single time we watch the video, it brought both tears of joy and smiles of happiness to us and we relived wonderful moment of our wedding for the first time all over again. Words cannot express how much we are in love with the wedding video.

I have to tell you that the video was Incredible! I have watched the video numerous times ( too many to count ). As soon as I received the video I just watched it. I cried and smile at the same time. There was so much joy and love that you can feel. You captured everything that was important to all of us. All the things I talked to you about, you listened and took the time to incorporate them all. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Duc, you have exceptional talent and it has been so great working with you. All the wedding party loved working with you! You have a way of making people feel at ease which helps so much in front of the camera.

Duc and Lisa came recommended from my wedding planner, and we could not have been happier with Avec Lumiere Productions. We had a multi-day Indian wedding, with events in different locations. Duc did a wonderful job capturing every momen, from the henna party at my parents house through the final moments of the reception. We choose to have a same day edit, and were SO pleased with the quality of the video. We loved seeing the highlights from the wedding events at the reception, and being able to share that video with people who were not able to attend.
Duc and his team were attentive to all details and clearly so passionate about creating a video we would all love. Duc was very flexible with our requests for music and edits in the final Blu-Ray of our all the wedding events.
We've already had the pleasure of recommending Avec Lumiere Productions to a few of our friends getting married this year, and will continue to recommend them to any other couples we know. They are professional, resonably priced, attentive to clients, and invested in creating a video that a couple and families will enjoy for a lifetime! -

We hired Duc at Avec Lumiere to do our pre-wedding video and we loved the video! We came up with a skit and Duc worked his movie magic and made an amazing video. We showed the video at our reception and it was a big hit with our guests. We just wished we had enough budget to hire him for our wedding day video. Duc was friendly, easy to work with, patience and creative. -

My husband and I had both the honor and pleasure to work with Duc and his team from Avec Lumiere. Our experience with Duc from planning to delivery of the final product was nothing but professional and we feel that we could not have asked for more from a videographer.
During the planning phase, I wasn't sure I even wanted a videographer for our wedding. In my mind, I pictured a man with a video camera the size of a VCR player strapped on top of his shoulder and a huge bright light beaming in my face. Boy have times changed...the equipment that Duc and his team uses is state of the art and non-obtrusive. My husband and I barely noticed that Duc and his team were filming us. The video quality was excellent and the final product was more than we could have imagined.
Duc was also able to capture very special moments from our wedding day. As others have mentioned in their reviews, Duc has a special ability to capture very special, intimate moments and looking back at our wedding video, we were extremely grateful we selected him as our videographer. Duc as a very unique and creative perspective when filming. We were surprised and excited to see footage from our family and friends that we missed. The memories that Duc was able to get on camera will be cherished for many years to follow.
We highly recommend Duc and his team and we want to express our gratitude towards him for making our wedding day so special. -

Duc and his team at AVEC LUMIERE are amazing! Duc is a very talented director. He worked closely with us to make sure that he deliver the best. At first we weren't sure what we wanted to do for our video montage. We saw some of his other work that he did ' same day ' edit but we told him we wanted something different, so he suggested a 'love story' format. On the filming day of our 'love story' the weather was gloomy then it started raining. We were very nervous how it would turn out with such little light to work with. But he told us to make use of the rain and create a more intimate scene. The video montage came out so beautiful and charming! Everyone who attended our wedding came to us and said they loved the video. We were so happy to hear compliments from people.
On the day of the wedding, he came to film us and captured every moment I had asked from him. He and his crew worked so hard. They all are very professional, they also worked well with our photographer, which was great!!!
I have searched and hunt for videographers from the day after we got engaged, but I was very disappointed. So many wedding videographer over charged and lack creativity. Every sample I saw from videographers looked the same. I particularly don't like to look like everyone else, therefore I was so happy to have found Duc and his team from AVEC LUMIERE. They did this 360 degree cinematography thing that spins around you! It looks amazing! As if i was watching a real movie! Not some cheap quality/typical wedding video.
If I have to compare AVEC LUMIERE price with other videographers, I would say they are much cheaper. Why? because of the quality and the value of it. It is your wedding day and finding a videographer who can capture those memories for you is important. Don't go with cheap videographers and regret afterward when the video come out bad. If you are planning your wedding on a budget and need to cut cost, i recommend cutting back on flowers or even your wedding dress, but don't cut your wedding video cost. It is the one thing you must get. It was worth every dime...( I even cut back few items on my wedding decorations to apply towards Avec Lumiere).
Avec Lumiere did such a great job in capturing so many moments that I don't even remember going through.

We had a large Indian wedding that Avec Lumiere did all the videography work for. We interviewed 3 companies that all came recommended and chose Lisa and Duc because they had an obvious care and passion for what they were doing and clearly cared about making their client's video's perfect.
They have a variety of packages to choose from given your budget. They are not the cheapest choice, but still very reasonable and I've seen my friends wedding videos and the work product is overwhelming better then other wedding videos that I've seen.
They also have options to make a scripted or interview style video before the event to show your guests something fun with AMAZING production value. If you are entertainers or like to create, this is a great option. Given our time before the wedding, they instead did a day of video, that they edited during the cocktail hour to show at the reception. It was absolutely one of the highlights of the night and in several hours they made a video that blew away other wedding videos I've seen and left the guests amazed. It showed getting ready, getting dressed, hamming it up with our groomsmen and bridesmaids, a personal message to each other, and a perfect soundtrack. It really upped the production quality of the entire reception to have that play on a screen they provided. As far as shooting goes, they have unbelievable camera equipment, a great eye, they are great with steady cams to get these amazing sweeping shots with motion. On the day of, Lisa was almost an extra coordinator that really helped everything run smoothly. From what I've seen in all my friends weddings, they are the absolute best I know. Avec has been the go to wedding/event cinematographers for most of my friends wedding along with some of our corporate events. Their work speaks for itself, its hard to describe how great their quality of work is. They make it happen and you can see that they capture the best moments, have the best in the quality of work and best of all tell a great story. -
