Eva and Jessica are AMAZING

We met Eva during our wedding visit in 2021 and knew it was an instant fit! Eva and Jessica made us feel so comfortable the entire day and all of the photos showed the day perfectly. They have both shot the W multiple time and we loved that they knew what angles to get. We have looked at our photos every month since the wedding and always love finding a new photo we may not have seen before. I highly recommend Eva and her team!

Ave Sol Photography exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding photos. The images are truly stunning—more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Ave Sol Photography is Absolutely Amazing

We had the pleasure of working with Ava and Jessica from Ave Sol Photography for our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, and even though we’ve only received the sneak peek photos so far—we are already completely blown away.
They photographed both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, capturing every emotion, detail, and moment with such warmth and artistry just as outlined in the Vision Board I created for them on Canva. From the second they arrived, Ava and Jessica brought calm, positive energy and made us feel completely at ease. They were professional, kind, and so intentional with every shot capturing the special moments, while keeping us on time. The way that Ava allows you to be yourself in front of the camera, while providing subtle tips and suggestions to improve the shot and capture what we were envisioning was incredibly helpful. We did not feel posed or overwhelmed with her guidance. The sneak peeks we’ve seen already look like they belong in a magazine and I cannot believe it is us in them. The lighting, framing, and emotion they captured in just a handful of images is breathtaking—and if this is just the preview, we cannot wait to see the full gallery.
We are beyond grateful for the way they documented our most important weekend, and we can already tell we’ll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Cannot recommend enough!

Jessica is amazing! Before the wedding Jessica was very easy to reach by email or WhatsApp. She was so kind and flexible when a few days before the wedding I asked if we could add extra time.

The day of the wedding she and her assistant Memo arrived early and took charge! Jessica found the perfect place for our first look and family photos. She and Memo staged the room where I was getting ready and Memo even took over steaming the train of my dress.

Jessica is a genius behind the camera. Our photos came out better than I ever could have hoped. We had sneak peek photos before the end of the night and the rest of them within 3 weeks! It's so hard for me to choose which pictures to post here as an example because I love them all. I could not be happier with the final result. If you are planning a wedding the in PVR area book Ave Sol as soon as you can!

Dream come true

The photos were the quality of a magazine. It was perfect. A dream come true and I’m pretty hard to impress. I’m still in awe 6 months later. I wish I could book them for the rest of my life’s events. Everyone who sees my wedding photos are amazed!!! Book them!!!

This review is long overdue! I hired avesol before the pandemic then I had to reschedule & they were super accommodating! Loved working w/ Eva & her assistant Jessica for our wedding day & a post wedding shoot! I was not feeling well the day of the shoot and had lost my voice (we didn’t have time to reschedule) and they made me forget all about that and captures some of the best pictures. My husband and I aren’t the most photogenic but they made us look like we were haha ! Can’t wait to one day go back and do a family shoot with our little girl ! Would highly recommend!

Family Photo Shoot On The Beach

My daughter and her husband gave us a photo shoot for Christmas. We went to Destiladeras Beach in La Cruz, Mexico and had so much fun. Our kids, grandkids and us. He took unbelievable beautiful pictures. So natural and fun. Sunset too. Tom Cirksis was so professional, fun and prepared. He and his sister own the Company. Do not go anywhere else! Thank you Tom.

Captured every moment

Eva was the main photographer for my wedding who came with Jessica. They were extremely professional, and helped me and my husband feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Coming from someone who is not extremely comfortable in front of the camera, Eva and Jessica immediately took control and put me at ease. She captured every important moment during my wedding and even categorized photos for each event during the day. Not to mention she was also extremely responsive from day 1 when it came to scheduling/pricing/etc. Lastly, she sent a few photos to me on my wedding night, which made the day extremely special knowing that beautiful pictures were soon to come. Eva provided pictures a lot sooner than expected and also added directions on how to download or purchase prints. To say that I was extremely happy is an understatement. I would highly recommend Eva and her team to anyone who is looking for a professional photographer to capture your special day. Thank you Eva and Jessica for making me feel so beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day!

Ave Sol Photography is amazing!

First off, we had to postpone our wedding three times due to covid. Pierre was insanely responsive and understanding of the situation. Never once felt ignored. Our photographer Eva Sica is so insanely talented. Her assistant Jessica was also rockstar. My husband and I are not photogenic and she knew this going in. She made us feel so comfortable and capture some magical photos. She captured moments that I completely forgot about but now Im able to relive the wedding all over again. I can’t praise Eva enough! Im so lucky to have had her to capture my wedding.

Toms is THE BEST photographer in Peurto Vallarta - you cannot go wrong with him. SO professional and knowledgeable about the area. He had us in settings we originally scoffed at but turned out amazing and totally beyond our expectations. Not only is his work product great but he’s a blast to have around. Fantastic Photographers & Experience!

We had a fantastic experience working with Eva and Jessica for our wedding photography at Casa Karma in October! They were seamlessly in the background all day capturing all of the perfect moments without any interruptions! They made us and our wedding party feel so comfortable and special the whole day, and our photos turned out absolutely perfect! We are so in love with them! They also were so sweet - I had multiple bridesmaids come up to me throughout the day saying how nice our photographers were! Absolutely incredible

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Eva and Jessica are. We did our engagement shoot with them in Bucerias when we visited our wedding, and we instantly felt like we were in good hands. We had such a good time in a relaxed setting and the photos turned out amazing. We just got married in Nuevo Vallarta in May and got our photos back within 1.5 weeks. They are AMAZING!! Eva and Jessica caught every moment of the day to perfection and the photos are stunning! We feel like we are right back there! We have shared with our friends and family and they can’t believe how wonderful these photos are. Thank you SO MUCH Eva and Jessica for capturing the beat day of our lives!

A standup company!

I was really looking forward to working with TOMS from avesol photography, but unfortunately, our wedding in Mexico was cancelled due to COVID and unsure when international travel would be able to happen again (I live in the States). I reached out and told them my situation and they were very accommodating and understanding and willing to help me out during this situation. While I didn't get the opportunity to work with them, I truly believe they are a standup group of people, which counts for a lot. I have followed them on instagram for months now and their work is always amazing, as well. If COVID didn't happen, I would have been very lucky to work with them.

Photographers went Above and Beyond

An unforeseen medical emergency delayed the wedding, Eva and Jessica stayed through the delay , the wedding started 2 hours later,, their vision captured the most amazing photos through the delay to the end of the reception. We are extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend Eva and Jessica. We plan a trip back to PV Mexico, and will definitely schedule a photo shoot with them.

Toms captured the spirit of our day

Toms is so creative and has great ideas! We loved working with him, he was willing to go out of his way to get some incredible shots. We got our photos back very quickly, everyone was so surprised! Toms was excellent!

We had Toms photographing for 10 hours of our wedding day and he did an amazing job! We love every last one of our photos and he captured so many special moments. We love his relaxed and un-posed style - he managed to make himself disappear into the background of our day while capturing everything we wanted and more! As well, Ave Sol was very flexible about when we could use our 1 hour extra session, so we are saving it for an anniversary trip in the future. We would strongly recommend Toms and Ave Sol Photography.

Amazing attention to detail

We booked Toms with Ave Sol for our wedding and his pictures are simply beautiful. He was able to capture so much detail in each shot and the lighting is perfect. My husband and I felt completely comfortable and at ease working with him. It's such a relief to be able to just be yourself in front of the camera.
We were also impressed at the lengths Toms went through to get the right shot. Whether it was scaling a ladder or crawling through bushes (and falling over rocks), he always did it with a smile on his face!

Ave Sol captured every magical moment effortlessly

I found Ave Sol through wedding wire and what first caught my eye was the natural feel to the photos. Nothing felt forced or awkward...every moment felt real and that was the biggest factor for us. When I mentioned Ave Sol to our wedding planner she said that they were a wonderful choice and that really sealed the deal for us.

Eva was incredible!! Seriously! It was amazing to see someone doing exactly what they were meant to do. She thought of so many different angles and shots and we felt so comfortable with her. Her assistant Jessica was also so sweet and professional. They made us feel special and that’s exactly what you want to feel like on your wedding day!

She truly captured so many moments not only of us but of our guests as well. I look through the pictures pretty much every day and it brings me right back. Thank you to Eva and Jessica and the whole team at Ave Sol I am so happy you were a part of our special day :)

Delightful, relaxing experience

We hired Eva for because I loved the way that her photos looked colorful and natural. Pierre helped us arrange a date and payment, and was very responsive to all of our inquiries.

Before our wedding, I talked briefly with Eva on the phone and she made a couple of great recommendations for the day (such as: give a list of photos that you'd like to someone who knows who is who at your event). Eva arrived more than punctually on the wedding day. She and her assistant were calm and professional, and helped us keep a relaxed feel at our wedding. She let us be natural; we arranged ourselves in groups, but there were no artificial photos.

Within a few days of the wedding, we already had access to an impressive amount of sneak peeks (at least 10 photos), and within two weeks we had the rest. I love how they turned out.

In sum, we now have beautiful, colorful, mostly unposed photos from a photographer who was professional, low-key, and a joy to have around.

An incredible experience working with Ave Sol

I am in love with my photos from my Sayulita Wedding in January 2019. We had an incredible week with our friends and family and the photos of our wedding day perfectly capture all of the special moments. We worked with Eva, who is incredible talented. We met with her initially during a planning trip a few months prior. I loved her energy and was so impressed with the photos that were produced from our "engagement/pre-wedding trial" shoot. We knew she would be so great to have with us on our wedding day. The full team was so great to work with. Pierre is super organized, informative and responsive. Top talent + incredible service

We made a million decisions while planning our wedding, but choosing Ave Sol for our photography was the best one, by far.

At first, the task of choosing a photographer seemed so daunting. We were travelling to Puerto Vallarta from Ontario, and considered flying down a photographer from home or using the resort photographer, but it felt like we'd be settling either way. We began to get discouraged. Then we found Ave Sol.

They made an amazing first impression and we were absolutely blown away by their stunning portfolio and flawless reviews! After contacting them, we were immediately impressed by their responsiveness and professionalism and knew that we could trust them to capture one of the most important days of our lives.

On the day of the wedding, Eva and Jessica couldn't have been a better fit. When you choose a photographer for your wedding, you don't really realize that you're not only choosing an artist, but you're also choosing a buddy for the whole day! It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with these two, with whom we ended up forming some of our fondest wedding memories!

I also give immense credit to Eva and Jessica's vision and efficiency, which allowed them to take so many breath-taking, natural photographs while we just got to enjoy the day without feeling posed or uncomfortable whatsoever. They work so quickly, but you'd never know it; every photo in our album looks like it belongs in a highlight reel.

Additionally, our videographer said that Eva was the most professional and kindest photographer he had ever worked with, and appreciated her collaboration on different shots. This is something we didn't even consider when booking a photographer, but it's actually so important. Her easygoing disposition and creativity made for a smooth day and absolutely gorgeous footage.

After the wedding, they were flexible, communicative, and quick to get our photos to us. I would highly recommend this team to anyone travelling to the area for any occasion, but especially a wedding. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure, and we can't thank them enough.

I've been in a lot of weddings and seen a lot of wedding photos, but Eva's work stands out. She is more than just a talented photographer, it is truly her gift. We are so glad we found Ave Sol and can't stop looking at our wedding album; these moments in time will truly be treasured for the rest of our lives.

PERFECTION... a true work of art.

If I could give this company a one million star rating, I would.

If you are looking or even questioning a photographer in the Puerto Vallarta/Sayulita area, look no further.

I first had the pleasure of meeting Eva in September, prior to our wedding. The package we purchased came with a one-hour photo shoot and my husband and I went to Sayulita for our engagement photos and some planning :) Eva blew our minds with her unique and truly gorgeous photos. She was literally perched up in trees, rolling in the sand, and diving in between bushes to get the PERFECT photo, every time.

I feel BLESSED that we hired Ave Sol for our wedding day. I had the pleasure of working with the one and only Eva Sica and her unbelievably talented assistant Jessica on my Wedding Day. Oh. My. Goodness. I have only seen 29 pictures so far (which came within HOURS of my wedding, because... Eva is that unfreakingbelievable), but, I cannot wait to see the others. What I have seen so far is pure perfection.

Eva has a special artistic craft to her work that is truly unmatched. I couldn't believe the attention to details and the angles that she was able to capture... the emotions, the reactions, the special intimate moments. She is perfect.

Eva has a special eye and brilliant brain when it comes to photography. She is also unbelievably kind and easy going. Her work speaks for herself, but she is also just overall, a wonderful person to get to know :) We are forever grateful for our *experiences* with this AMAZING company!!! We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. THANK YOU!!

And a very special thank you to Jessica. She was there for everything! She captured my husband and his groomsmen getting ready and they loved her!! She was super kind and easy going :) She also helped me with everything... she fluffed my dress, bustled my dress, helped me take out my veil... she did it all! The pictures are flawless. She has a very kind and calming demeanor about her which makes her very loveable and easy to be around.

In my opinion, these two are the absolute DREAM team and I am eternally grateful that I hired them :) :) :)

A Wonderful Experience

Toms shot our wedding last weekend and did a fantastic job! He is SUCH a hard worker and made sure he was on top of every special moment. Amazing wedding photographers!

Avesol did such an amazing job photographing our wedding! They were so professional from the very beginning of the booking process, very responsive, and explained the different package options. Eva caught so many amazing moments at our wedding! Lots of great candids and emotions were captured, in addition to any photos we had requested! She was constantly running around to get the best angles and made us feel so comfortable. We got incredible preview shots just a few days later, and the rest of our photos a month after. We also included the option in the photography package to give guests a printed photo of them, and used this as our wedding favor, and guests loved it! I highly recommend Eva and her team!

The best money we spent on our wedding!

We couldn't be happier with how our wedding photos turned out! Eva is an absolute professional and has a keen eye for capturing special moments. Best Wedding Photographer in Puerto Vallarta!

Love Ave Sol Photography! We hired them for our wedding down in PV in November of 2018. They were so easy to work with over email (we live in the United States) to book everything. Their packages were well priced. The day of the wedding, our photographer and her assistant were on top of things all day. It was nice to have one photographer with me, the bride, and then another with my groom and his guys. The details shots they took of our rings, invites, getting ready were beautiful! While we were getting ready, our photographer was getting up on chairs, on the balcony, doing a wall-sit: all to get the best shot, so we were very impressed! And the best part: they got us our preview photos 2 days after the wedding! And got us our photos within 2 weeks- it was so wonderful to get everything so quickly! I highly recommend using them for your wedding if you are getting married in Puerto Vallarta!

Perfection - Eva is a photography goddess

I did a lot of research on PV area photographers and came down to a lot of options. But one stood out to me from the start- Eva and her team at Ave Sol. Then my coordinator recommended her and I felt I needed to reach out. Once I went through their portfolio I knew they had the creativity and talent to capture my wedding. By I was a little worried that that kind of perfection had to be well staged. Fast forward to the wedding week, Eva and Jessica arrived without me knowing and before I knew it were already well underway capturing the location and our beautification process in the background and I had no idea. I didn’t feel their presence all night- no “hold her tighter, no put your hand over here, tilt your chin up slightly.” She was creeping around like a ninja capturing every single moment. Fast forward to the next day- I had several insanely gorgeous proofs I could share with my anxious guests. And within a few weeks, the full album. She captured moments I didn’t know happened, moments I could only try to remember, moments I will dream about forever. And most importantly - she made us look like models. Like rockstars. Like a fairytale. The way she found her angles. Set up each photo, it was so artistic and stunning. It made going to Mexico worth it. We will always cherish and reminisce with these photos. Beautiful Photos!

Just received my wedding photos last week and they are amazing! I had a half day shoot with Eva and got plenty of great photos. My photos included my groom and I getting ready, Ceremony, Newlywed Photos, and Reception Photos. We got an entire group shot of everyone that attended our wedding which was a big surprise, and so cool to have. There was a storm out on the water the night of our wedding and Eva took some amazing shots of the lightening bolts hitting the water. She captured all our best moments, and the lighting in every picture was unbelievable. So happy we got to work with them!

Eva and her team at Ave Sol are without a doubt the very best photographers to work with in Puerto Vallarta. Eva’s professionalism, attention to detail and prompt delivery time outrank any other wedding photographer I have heard of in the US or México. She even captured great shots of our ring bearer, “Buddy” the dog!

We received our “Sneak Peek” 2 days after the ceremony and all of our photos within 2 weeks. The quality is outstanding and all of our family and friends were blown away by the images captured.

Eva and her assistant communicated on their cell phones to help pose us and nail every single shot we took. We were able to return to our guests quickly after the ceremony and Eva made sure to capture that “golden hour”.

My husband and I got married in June and I am just now getting around to all this!!! When we started looking for a photographer near PV we kept seeing consistently stunning photos from ave sol (not just a handful of good pics) We reached out and always got quick responses to all of our questions. The day of the wedding Eva was on time and excited to get the party started and even though we dealt with delays the day of the wedding (an accident on the road made everyone late) she made sure to make the most of the time we had and to get the shots we would want! Most of my friends who are married told me it would be weeks (maybe even months) before we would see our photos but within 3 weeks WE HAD ALL OF THEM! We got married in Puerto Vallarta at Palo Maria in early January and Toms was our wonderful photographer. He was great with our families and got incredible shots at our resort before the wedding, during the ceremony, group shots at the reception and of our reception. Oustanding to results. Our wedding photos are incredible. Some black & white but most are in color. We are so happy with the quality and the number of photos we received. I loved that within a few days we received 10 to 12 teaser shots to let us know what was coming. Really exciting as the early photos we got were GREAT!

These guys were really great to deal with ,both in the run up to our wedding and on the day. The main reason we booked Ave Sol was because they showed us consistently stunning photos, not just a handful of lucky shots. We found that pretty much all photographers will have a few stunning photos to decorate their website. Before booking, we asked to see a sample *full wedding gallery* and were amazed - the decision was a no-brainer for us when compared to other photographers we considered.

Eva recommended we move our ceremony time slightly to capture the sunset. We are super grateful for that piece of advice as the lighting turned out perfectly. If it weren't for her extra attention to detail, our ceremony would have ended in the dark.

We recommend you book Eva if you are shy like us.. after 5 minutes with her you will feel like supermodels and have lovely natural looking photos as a result. She is more than capable of taking all those high quality shots you see in magazines.

I love Ave Sol Photography!! My husband and I got married at Las Caletas in October of 2017, and when looking for a photographer, we stumbled on Ave Sol's website, and fell in love with Eva's work. Planning a destination wedding can be tricky and stressful, because in most cases, you don't get to meet your chosen vendors until the actual day, so we were a bit nervous, but went ahead and booked Eva, as well as her second shooter, Jessica to photograph our wedding.

We worked mostly with Pierre before the wedding to handle all of the logistics, and Pierre was, and continues to be, an amazing vendor to work with. He is unbelievably responsive, and has answered any question I have, usually within a matter of hours.

Working with Eva was a dream. She showed up to our wedding casita early, and went right to work photographing all of the small details. Eva and Jessica really captured my day, and got all of the details we wanted. Eva and I spoke about 2 weeks before the wedding, and we talked about some shots that I really wanted, but really just gave her creative license to capture the day.

As promised, we got a sneak peak with about 30 or so pictures 2 days after the wedding, and a fully edited gallery with about 500 pictures about 3 weeks after the wedding. The pictures turned out gorgeous, and we could not be happier with them! The only problem is, is that there are too many good ones, and we can't decide which ones to print for our home! A very good problem to have!

You will not be disappointed if you book with Ave Sol photography. Their responsiveness, both pre and post wedding, along with Eva's gorgeous work, makes for one A+++ team!

My husband and I got married in Puerto Vallarta this past July and, though we both wanted a low key wedding on the beach, it was important to have the right photographer capture the day in just the perfect way. We did not want cliche looking wedding photos but images that captured the energy, excitement and love in an authentic and unique way. Deciding on a photographer in a foreign country whom you have never met (and won't meet until the day of) can prove challenging. What is their style, what is the vibe? Will they stress the bride out or be pleasant to everyone? Will your pictures look original or generic "wedding style"? I came across Ave Sol Photography through this site and immediately fell in love with not only the quality of the photographs (obviously) but also the unique vision Eva and Toms convey through their lens'.

I booked a session with Eva and found the process to be responsive, seamless and virtually stress free. The rates are really good considering the level of expertise you're dealing with. Eva arrived at the hotel on our wedding day and asked what I would like, if there is anything she should be aware of, who is who, etc. (it was a very small wedding). As a bride an hour before her wedding, I was decidedly a little stressed and Eva had a way about her that is at once mellow and in control. Perfect demeanor to have when you're dealing with a bride!

I had read that she works in such a way that you hardly know she is there, and I found that to be the case. Nothing felt obtrusive and she captured GORGEOUS photos of the day for us. Two weeks later, we had all of the photos. Amazing!

If you get the chance, work with Eva. I honestly can't imagine anyone doing so and having anything less than a spectacular experience and stunning photos!

Our resort, Hyatt Ziva, recommended Ave Sol for our wedding day photography in Puerto Vallarta. I was in touch with Pierre who coordinated our package and payments. When we were on the beach with our wedding party, she had so many fun ideas and same with the sunset beach photos of my husband and me. She is so creative and pays so much attention to detail. She is also amazingly sneaky. I was worried that having a photographer would be invasive but I didn't notice her at all and several family members have said the same thing. We had such an amazing experience and we are so lucky to have so many great photos! They are all so good that we can barely keep track of them all. I would highly recommend Ave Sol Photography.

Eva is the absolute best! I had sort of a hectic wedding (people were going down with some sickness including 90% of the wedding party the morning of). Eva and her helper were so calm and just really incredible to me that day. Not only was she wonderful, the pictures came out AMAZING! She would set up shots and help me look natural (I'm not the best in front of the camera) and then she'd be lying down on the ground just to get the perfect shot. Avesol was probably the easiest vendor we worked with throughout the wedding planning process! Pierre was super communicative, extremely professional and knowledgable and helpful in booking Eva for our wedding in Mismaloya (near Puerto Vallarta) for April 30. We received Sneak Peak photos within 4 days of our wedding while we were still in Mexico and were impressed by every one of them! Now, 3 weeks after the wedding (!), we are looking at all our professionally edited, beautiful, expressive and warm wedding photos. Throughout the wedding day, they were super flexible, creative, and even reminded my husband and I to come out for perfect sunset newlywed photos when we were in the middle of all of our wedding day events :) I cannot recommend Eva and her helper Jessica enough - definitely hire them! Eva with Avesol Photography was THE BEST! She did my engagement shoot and my wedding. She is so easy-going and will make you feel so at ease in front of the camera. Eva was amazing! I was a pretty go -with-the-flow type bride and came in with a few must have shots, but Eva helped fill in the blanks and capture amazing images of every part of the wedding. Me and my wife used Ave Sol Photography for our Trash The Dress photoshoot, and we definatley made the best decision using them!
When we first emailed Pierre about questions, he responded to our email in less than 1 hour. Every time we emailed him afterwords with questions, concerns, payment info, etc he always responded the same day. I was very happy and impressed with how quick he would get back to us.
For our photo shoot we had Eva. Eva was extremly proffessional and very freindly as well. We asked Pierre and Eva about what they thought might be good for locations about a TTD photoshoot because we we're both new to this. All their suggestions were absolutly amazing.
We met Eva in old town Puerto Vallarta and started with pictures there. Right away she was guiding us on how to stand, where to look, finding really cool and colorful spots. She was able to capture pictures of us that are now my favorite pictures i have of myself. She was so kind and really good at helping guide us throughout the whole shoot.
After old town we went to the beach and continued our photoshoot there.
She got incredible photos of us in the water, rolling in the sand, and even during the sunset.
Overall my experience with them was incredible.
Our TTD photos are just as amazing, if not better than our wedding photos, and im so happy and thankful we we're able to get such an amazing, professional photoshoot.

My husband and I got married October 1, 2016 at Villa Amor in Sayulita! We had Toms as our Wedding photographer. Toms did a great job! HE is very sweet. Toms worked his butt off!! Most all of our Wedding guests told me that he was doing a great job and working very hard. Toms was perfect photographer for my adventurous side. he wasnt hesitant at all about jumping on the golf cart with my bridemaids and I and runnung all over town taking pictures of us... even when I climbed on a horse in my Wedding dress!!! My husband and I got married overseas in Puerto Vallarta and as we live in Australia it was tricky to pick a photographer without meeting them first. I reached out to Photo Shoots Vallarta and met Pierre who was incredible fast at responding and gave me a choice of photographers to choose from. I picked Eva's work due to the beautiful documentary style photos and upon meeting her on Skype I knew she would be a beautiful fit.

On the day of the wedding Eva was cool, calm and collected and captured the day absolutely perfectly. I was really adamant that we didn't have a lot of posed cheesy photos and I can't believe at how many small, intimate moments Eva was able to capture on the day. I was so moved by the photos (and still am) that it brings tears to my eyes just typing this!

Eva is an incredibly talented photographer and so easy to work with. It's like she wasn't there yet somehow managed to capture everything perfectly.

I can not recommend Eva highly enough. Stop looking around and just book her. You won't regret it.

Next time we are in Puerto Vallarta for our anniversary I will definitely be contacting her again. Thank you so much Eva and Pierre for helping us to create lasting memories for the rest of our lives. xx Elise and Chris (wedding date 6.6.16)

Choosing Ave Sol as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made. She was so sweet, gave excellent direction, and was so incredibly talented. She knew all the angles and tricks to get the most beautiful pictures. We went down to the beach after our wedding to take pictures and she was literally laying in the sand and climbing on rocks so that she could get the perfect shot. Beyond our expectations! I was drawn to Eva's style by looking at her portfolio and the outcome of our wedding is amazing! We were planning a destination wedding from California. We were recommended to her by our wedding planner. We didn't actually meet Eva until the day before. She made us feel like magazine models! Eva is very sweet and put us at ease for our photos. Just had a wedding in PV and had the pleasure to shoot with Eva and communicate to organize with Pierre. Eva was super helpful, very professional, and it was apparent from the beginning she has a gift; a great eye and takes the best photos! Very modern, classic, yet artistic, we couldn't have imagined anyone else doing it - so happy we didn't use our resort photographer - it is well worth paying an outside vendor fee if you are staying at a resort and they request it. My new husband and I just returned from our incredible destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta and we seriously cannot rave enough about Eva and the entire Ave Sol Photography team. We booked Eva and Ave Sol (formerly PhotoShoots Vallarta), with very little info or knowledge of them and to be perfectly honest we booked because the price was right for our very tight budget. We really liked Eva's calm demeanor and thought her portfolio looked great, but we could not have imagined in our wildest dreams how amazing the experience of working with her on our wedding day and the entire package as a whole would all turn out. As I write this I am still totally blown away by the quality of each and every picture and how wonderfully professional Eva was and how comfortable she made my very shy husband and me. Everyone who has seen the photos has raved about how incredible they are and my wedding planner is so incredibly impressed and shocked at how affordable their services are for the quality and experience we received. Another unbelievable bonus was that they were all ready within 2 weeks, which I've come to realize is practically unheard of (and awesome for someone as impatient as me)! All dealings with Pierre, Ave Sol's office manager, were absolutely prompt, efficient and professional as well and overall, the entire experience was a dream. We would HIGHLY recommend Ave Sol again and again and again (in fact we have already given their info to friends getting married in Sayulita) and we are definitely going to contact them for a photo shoot the next time we're in PV (hopefully with little ones!).

I cannot say enough about Ave Sol, specifically Eva Sica. From my very first interaction with Pierre over email, to my Skype call with Eva to go over my vision, to our incredible wedding on April 22, 2016 in Puerto Vallarta, we had the most amazing experience with them.

Pierre is organized, friendly, helpful and efficient. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and arranged everything behind the scenes flawlessly. He also accommodated an extra photographer for the ceremony late in the game. During our very first Skype call, I knew Eva would be someone I would not only get along with but be so thankful to have be part of our day. She is so warm and friendly while still being incredibly authentic and professional. I never once felt that she was just "doing her job" or going through the motions. You can tell that she truly loves photography and loves what she does - and that translates into her work.

Eva joined us at our rehearsal dinner at Vista Grill and then we had our ceremony at Our Lady of Guadalupe and the reception at Villa Celeste. We received our "sneak peek" photos just a couple days after the wedding and it made me so excited to relive the moments so soon after the wedding. It also made me incredibly excited to see the rest of her photos because the shots and quality was even better than expected! Less than a month after our wedding we received all of the retouched photos and we are thrilled. I cannot recommend Ave Sol enough.

Our wedding and the whole week we spent in PV was a dream and Eva's photos captured every emotion and every moment that I hope to remember forever.

We had second thoughts about using the onsite photography service at our hotel in Puerto Vallarta and about 2-3 months before the big day we scrambled to find one. Ave Sol got back to us immediately and we were so relieved! A few days before the wedding they also reached out to us to confirm details. Eva was our photographer and she was amazing. I was a stress-ball that day and she was so helpful, talking directly to the hotel event coordinator when she needed to, and right off the bat she asked us what we were looking for, and explained her style as well. We could not be more pleased with the photos...the whole day was such a blur and she captured so many wonderful moments! The entire process of reaching out to these guys, working with Eva, and getting the photos back was fantastic - they are super professional and so nice. Highly recommend them!

We had an unbelievable experience with the team at Ave Sol Photography. Pierre assisted us from California to set up all of the contracts and was professional and timely when responding to emails and questions. We had booked Eva to photograph our Rehearsal and Wedding, however the day before she became very ill. Pierre was quick with his communication and Tom stepped right in to save the day. Needless to say, Tom and Jose were incredible. They were were kind, came with brilliant ideas, and made sure that all of the photos we wanted to be taken on our day were accomplished. Their eye for a million dollar photograph is spot on, and we now have the problem of too many that we love!!! Ave Sol (formerly Photoshoots Vallarta) is an absolutely phenomenal company and I cannot say enough amazing things about them.

Responsiveness/Administration:
Having to book a destination photographer was a bit nerve-wrecking for me as there was no opportunity to meet with the team in person. However, from the initial email, Pierre made my doubts go away. His responsiveness to my emails, ability to answer all my questions (and there were many), suggest locations for the photo shoot keeping in mind my preferences was just outstanding. I felt like I was being 'listened' to even via an email and that was of huge comfort to me. Even after our wedding day, Pierre was in touch right away to provide a link to a sneak peak of our photos and gave us a timeline for when photos would be delivered and remained in touch and easily accessible to ensure any of all of our follow up questions were addressed.

Photo Services:
Toms was with us on our wedding day (and also did Trash the Dress shoot the following day) and I can't say enough great things about him. He was punctual and ready to go from the moment he arrived. I never felt like I was posing for photographs and for most of the day, I wasn't even aware that Toms and his assistant Erin were there, which is quite incredible! Toms beautifully captured so many candid and special moments. We can't say how much we love the photos!

For TTD shoot, Toms listened to what we were hoping to achieve and suggested the most amazing location where we were able to just be ourselves and "forget" that there was a camera pointed at us. Absolutely incredible all around!

General:
As I initially said, Ave Sol is absolutely amazing all around. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. You definitely cannot go wrong with this team for your special occasion. They provide great value for the money that you are paying and you'll treasure those photographs for many decades to come.

I never write vendor reviews, but given the quality of service, I had to make an exception. From the moment I met Eva, I knew I liked her. She was professional, positive, and you could tell right away she truly cared to make the day special. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND her job to help - from recommending scenic locations, to offering to give us a ride to the photo shoots, to negotiating with local cabs, to helping source flowers for the wedding - she was SO helpful and had an amazingly calming energy. I would highly recommend Eva - and also recommend listening to her when she gives you advise - as she truly has your best interests at heard. Pierre also did a great job, always being extremely responsive and professional. We received a sneak peek of about 50 photos the next day, which was a wonderful surprise. The experience was flawless - they are perfect.

My husband and I booked a destination wedding but after looking at the photos and cost of the resort photographer we decided to look at other options. I contacted Photoshoots Vallarta after looking at their work online. Pierre responded to me but the original message had gone into my junk mail so I was glad that he sent a follow up message which I received. I booked Eva Sica to photograph our wedding and I cannot say how happy I am to have made that decision. Eva arrived on time, ready to go and just went to it...I immediately felt comfortable with her. I gave her the key to our room as I was getting my hair and make up done & she just went to it...she was absolutely wonderful. She gave me some tips & pointers for photos & seemed to just be able to capture the moment. Eva seemed to be everywhere all at once during the ceremony and reception photographing our 50 family & guests. Everyone noticed how she was just doing what she did - I never had to ask. Now here's the best part - you get a sneak peek at your photos the next day which is super cool. When I first started to look at the photos I thought they were absolutely stunning but it took me a few seconds to realize that the photos were of my wedding. They were 35 of the most beautiful wedding photos I had ever seen and they were mine. Eva had taken the time to photograph the little things - a note from my husband to be, the invitation, program, my shoes, flowers, the dress, and our rings with the seashells that I had gathered from the beach. I had no idea that she had taken all of those photos. She captured me holding my step-daughters hand during the ceremony, the mischievious twinkle in my 2 year old nephew's eyes as he pulled petals from the bouquets and the cutest 5 flower girls ...Eva is just a wonderful person who does amazing work - artistic & beautiful - rest assured that on a day where you worry about a lot of things, you will not have to worry about Eva capturing that special moment!

Photoshootsvallarta did a fantastic job - not just with our photos but with responding to us on every e-mail, informing us of their services, showing up on time, and being exceptionally pleasant and helpful on our wedding day. Evgenia was our photographer. The photos are stunning and she was spectacular. We are so happy we chose this company and would recommend it in a heartbeat!

Our wedding took place in a nice countryside Latvia, Koknese. Eva was there of course, because she is the best friend of mine. And luckily she was our photographer too.

We knew that Eva is making beautiful pictures and definitely will meet our high expectations, but we hesitated, because we wanted to celebrate, dance and laugh together with everybody and avoid her being at work. But as a true friend Eva insisted so much that I couldn’t resist. And this was the best decision we could have made.

Now we are looking at photos again and again and recognize every time, that this is art made of our wedding. Atmosphere, emotions, and feelings of that day – all is there. Our families and friends are just saying: wow! We knew that photos will be good, but they are just perfect.

Looking at the pictures we don’t remember how Eva was shooting them, didn’t notice camera, we saw that she is having fun with us and our friends. At the same time she was at the right moments in right places. Nice, warm, sentimental, funny moments, even those, which we didn’t notice, are in the album and we are really happy about the whole photo story of our wedding.

This is the best wedding gift we have received - a beautiful memory of the wonderful day.

We chose Eva by reccomendation from other well-known and highly recognised wedding photographer. Already the first look on her previous works (www.photoshootsvallarta.mx/portfolio) convinced with its style, clear forms and yes – beauty. I wrote an email to Eva and was very pleasantly surprised on immediate response and forthcoming attitude. Later we started a skype communication that was even faster and better.
Eva did fantastic things even before the wedding: she inspired and calmed the bride. It was so good to feel such a supporting and involving attitude. I was made to feel that our wedding for Eva won’t be just a running, exausting day of work (and it surely was exausting!) but she will somehow manage to keep the special feeling of the unique event. Actually I know how: she loves her job.
We talked with Eva like we’d been friends forever. We found a common understanding of what we’d like to do and what the photos should look like. Still we didn’t listed our wishes and just trusted our day to the proffesional. Despite hundreds of brides and weddings she has seen before she make it feel like everything is such an event as it really was for me and my husband-to-be.
Frankly speaking I’m not very happy being photographed. I feel much better when the process is over. Still on the wedding day I didn’t saw and didn’t felt Eva’s activities at all. The shooting was very comfortable. No artifical posing, just some inspirational ideas. Even my husband who is very critical to his own image in photos having the opinion that nobody can take a well-looking photo of him is satisfied with the result and looks at the photos with pleasure.
We are very satisfied with the process and the result, the photos are amazing and we’re proud to watch them over and over again. Yes, there are a lots and lots of bride and groom pics, but thats how it should be after this particular event. We say many thans to Eva and appreciate her skills and warm-hearted attitude.

Pierre recently shot our wedding at the Westin in PV. We just received the pictures and they are wonderful. He was very prompt with responding to all of our emails. Completely professional and trust worthy.
