  Perfect in every way

  Where do we even start with Ava Moore Photography? She was so amazing throughout our entire wedding process and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how the photos turned out across the board! With little direction from us, she and her team of second shooters took the reigns and came through in a big way! From our engagement shoot, to moving things around to make logistics work for both groomsman and bridesmaid pictures, Ava Nicole Moore made it all work seamlessly. We had many vendors throughout our wedding process but Ava truly was worth every single penny. Do not hesitate when choosing her to document your day. Her use of natural light keeps photos airy and really captures the beauty of the Lowcountry! Do yourself a favor and look no further when deciding on your photographer!

  The Best Decision!!

  Where to even begin... Nicole blew us away from the very beginning. I am a wedding planner by profession, so I was very picky selecting our vendors. Photography was super important to me, so it was one of the first things I began searching. After our initial phone call, I found out that she was booked on our date. I immediately called all of our vendors and asked if they were open the next weekend, and then changed our date so we could hire Nicole. During engagement photos, bridal portraits, and the day of the wedding, she was so calm, kind, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! We have the best photos from our wedding, and already have them all over our house. I'm still frequently flipping through all of our photos, and reliving the best day. If you're considering her, HIRE HER. It was one of the best decisions we made during planning!

  Ava Moore Photography

  Ava Moore is the easiest decision you can make around your wedding day - next to your partner that is! She is gifted with her talents as a photographer and her ability to so beautifully capture the love surrounding such a special day. From the first phone call, I felt that she totally understood what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day, and based upon her experience even helped to make suggestions for how to achieve that vision. She helped to build out our day-of timeline based upon what was most important to us - the whole day I was able to remain present and in the moment because of her - I felt in good hands and trusted her. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say Ava Moore captured our wedding in a way I didn't know possible and surpassed any expectation I could have. We are grateful that she was a part of what made our wedding experience so amazing!

  Simply the best!

  We first met Ava for our engagement shoot in downtown Charleston. Both of us were a bit nervous (we've never done a professional photo shoot of any kind before), but Ava made us feel completely comfortable from the very beginning, and ultimately made us even more excited to work with her on our wedding day. When the wedding day arrived, we truly could not have asked for a better photographer to literally capture every single moment. Looking back at the photos, we felt like we were reliving every second of the entire day! Ava is extremely professional, respectful, kind, and talented. She is a true expert in her profession and is so easy to work with. Thank you Ava!

  Book Nicole Now!

  I’m not quite sure how to put into words how amazing and talented Nicole is. From the moment I spoke to her on the phone, she put me at ease and I knew there was no one else I would want to photograph our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process she was so organized and thorough. She put all my worries at ease, and went above and beyond to make sure that all my dreams were turned into a reality.
  We first got our engagement pictures done with her and we were completely blown away with how talented she was. I knew that if our wedding pictures were anything like our engagement pictures I would be thrilled. Not to mention, she was THE sweetest soul. She made you feel so comfortable. Even my (now) husband didn’t have a complaint despite taking pictures in the middle of a HOT July day because of how wonderful she was.
  On the day of our wedding Nicole arrived early and got started right away. She and her crew were so sweet and put this bride’s mind at ease immediately. Nicole was able to be direct without being overbearing and organize a large wedding party with ease. Our large families and long list of shots we wanted didn’t bother them a bit. Every single moment of our day was effortless, organized, and enjoyable. Her and her crew blended into our crowd so easily that we would often forget they were even there or we were being photographed. We were able to completely enjoy our entire day without feeling the pressure of a camera. THEN… we received our sneak peek and WOW… she completely blew us away. As we scrolled through our preview we smiled, we laughed, we cried… we got to relive our day! I truly couldn’t ask for anything more! I cannot wait to see the rest and to be able to start decorating our house with our pictures. Choosing the right photographer was so important to me and I know from the bottom of my heart we chose the best choice when choosing Nicole with Ava Moore Photography.   Stunning photos, amazing photographer!

  I wouldn’t even know where to begin to explain how glad we are that we found Nicole!! From our first inquiry together she took the time to have a call to get to know US before she even met us. She shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I cannot even tell you how many people have already told us “these are the best wedding photos they have ever seen”. Nicole is amazing to work with and she truly has a talent behind the lens. If you are looking for a photographer, BOOK NICOLE! You will not be disappointed. If you need us, we will just be looking through all of our wedding photos until the end of time! Xoxo!!

  Incredible woman, incredible photographer, and even more incredible photos

  Since the wedding photos were one of the single items that last more than a day, I was extremely focused on and pick about our wedding photographer. However, from our first conversation (and of course after looking at her impeccable instagram feed full of timeless, beautiful film photos), I knew that my husband and I had to work with Ava for our wedding day. She was so interested in the story of us from the start and my vision for the wedding, and ensured that her photography style was aligned with my wedding day vision. A few months after hiring her, Ava contacted us saying it was time for engagement photos. My husband and I were not married to location for them and were open to Ava's suggestions. After she learned of our Paris engagement and my love with the city, she suggested the Biltmore for our session. She could not have suggested a better spot. The photos were FLAWLESS and she made my camera shy husband (sorry sweetie), look like a natural. However, the engagement photos were just the start. Ava worked hand-in-hand with our wedding planner to develop a day-of timeline that worked best to allow us to spend as much time during the wedding with our family and friends, which we prioritized above all else. Our planner even commented several times on how organized and knowledgeable she was! When the day finally came, Ava could not have been better. She arrived early to capture getting ready photos, ensure she had enough time for beautiful detail shots, and arrive at our wedding location before we arrived. She made our first look so comfortable and was somehow everywhere, at every moment. Flash forward to a month later, when we received our gallery. Each and every photo was INCREDIBLE and allowed my husband and i to relive one of the best days over and over again. She somehow managed to get the beautiful film photos i have always oogled over on instagram and catch all the sweaty, fun moments from our reception that we never want to forget. My husband and I are so grateful that we hired Ava for our photographer, and would do so over and over again. If you are even considering her, do not hesitate. I promise it will be one of the best decisions you will ever make for your wedding!

My husband and I are so lucky to have had Nicole behind the lens as our wedding photographer on our special day as well as our engagement photos! She has created memories for us that we will always cherish and be able to relive over and over! We have been married a year now and her images bring us so much joy. Nicole is organized, conscientious, and makes miracles happen even when weather conditions are not ideal! She is creative and tasteful! She really took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple before our first photo session and throughout the wedding planning process she was an absolute angel with a thorough day of timeline, yet so flexible for in the moment! I’m so grateful! She is simply the BEST!

  Worth every penny!

  I can't say enough good things about Nicole! From day 1 she made an effort to get to know my fiance and I. She was very thorough and extremely kind while wrangling my 16 person wedding party for photos! It only took her 4 days to get us a sneak peak of our wedding photos and we're obsessed with them. After our engagement session with her, 2 of my friends booked her for their wedding because they loved the pictures so much! All our wedding party + family said she was so pleasant and a joy to meet on the big day! The initial investment can be pricey, but I promise it's all worth it! Pictures are what you have to hold on to forever, so it's an investment for sure!

  Girl crush on this amazing woman! (and her photos!)

  I cannot express in words how much we love Nicole! She is amazingly talented, and so so kind! We loved working with her.
  
  Our wedding was pushed back about a month due to Hurricane Florence, and Nicole was exceptionally accommodating to make our new date work. She arrived more than early which was wonderful because it allowed for some buffer time, was exceptionally responsive leading up to our big day, was great for advice when I needed an opinion, and her calm and gentle demeanor on our wedding day helped to calm our nerves and put us at ease! My only regret is that we didn't have more time with her! I feel like the day went by so quickly and I wish we had had more time just to chat with her!
  
  She had a sneak peek ready for us just a few days after our wedding, and they are absolutely stunning! Everything I wanted brought together in one image.
  
  I would recommend Nicole to anyone for any occasion, but especially your wedding! She takes her job seriously, but is fun and gentle on a day when you need to minimize stress! She also produces the most magical and incredible photos - which was the most important thing to me on our day!

  Nicole is a true professional! We used her for engagement, bridal and wedding photography for my daughter’s big day!! The pictures are absolutely stunning. Her artistry through photography is exceptional. Not only is she a great photographer, but also a wonderful person. We will use her in the future for any photography needs we have! We absolutely love her!!

  WE LOVE AVA MOORE! A friend showed me her Instagram a while back so I had been following her for about a year before I got engaged. After my husband and I got engaged we both agreed right away that Nicole had to take our engagement photos. I had seen her work and I knew she was great, but when we hired her I never would have expected her to go so above and beyond for us. Or make us look so good!
  
  When I reached out to Nicole she was super quick to respond as well as extremely friendly and helpful. At the time, I wasn't 100% sure of what I was even looking for, kind of just a vague idea of the "feel" I wanted. She gave me some ideas and worked with me to choose a location based on the time of year and what I was thinking of wearing. We ended up doing 2 locations- downtown and the beach. As first I didn't care to do the beach but Nicole encouraged it and I'm SOO glad we did. Our beach pictures are some of my favorite ones.
  
  Nicole also encouraged me to make a Pinterest board so that I could show her any specific poses that I wanted (if any). When we met her at the location that day she had our Pinterest board printed out and she made sure to get each one. She was there on time and ready to go. During the session itself, she gave us great directions about how to pose and where to look because we had no idea. She also was really kind and patient with our dog, she even held her so that we could take photos just the 2 of us.
  
  The photos themselves came out AMAZING!! We both truly feel like she captured our best sides and somehow she made us look amazing. The pictures are exactly the "feel" I was looking for, and even better than I had expected. She was also finished with them pretty quickly. I've heard of photographers taking months to edit and send pictures back but we had ours within a week or 2.
  
  We really just cannot say enough good things about Ava Moore Photography. We'll be recommending her to everyone from now on. She really is the best of the best!

  Hiring Nicole to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. She accommodated us bringing our two pups along for our engagement photos and captured beautiful pictures. She also did my bridal portraits and they all looked great and she did a good job of posing me without too much movement so I wouldn’t mess up my dress before our wedding day. On our wedding day, she did a great job of staying organized and directive so we could get all the photos we wanted. We received our photos back well before the contracted date and had 1300 photos to choose from (we chose the option to have a second photographer). She’s awesome to work with and created beautiful, classic photos. We highly recommend her as a wedding photographer!

  We had Nicole take our engagement pictures, as well as our wedding day pictures.
  
  Once you reach out to Nicole she sets up a quick call to see what your vision is and if it aligns with her style. I thought this was such a great idea because one, it determines if you are a good match and two, it sets the tone for the rest of your pictures.
  
  As someone who is not from Charleston, Nicole was extremely helpful taking my vision for engagement pictures and suggesting the best spots to take pictures. She answered every question quickly and was extremely open to any ideas I had! We also brought our puppy along and she was so sweet and loving to him that it really showed through our photos. Our photos were ready before the time frame she gave us and we were so happy with her work. They were all so beautiful and it was so easy to view our gallery and download the images.
  
  For our wedding and every day leading up to the wedding Nicole was so extremely helpful. I might have gone to her only a few times less than my wedding planner. Nicole has so much knowledge about the wedding industry in Charleston it is so helpful. She has a listing of vendors she has worked with and provides suggestions based on her knowledge. She also sends over a questionnaire to get every detail of your wedding right! I provided her with family relationships and listings of photos I wanted, and photos that I did not want. Everything was so easy and she was so understanding. On our wedding day she and her assistant were so professional but they also felt like members of the wedding. She not only took every picture I had provided to her and more but she also kept us on schedule the whole day without me having to worry about it! We are so extreme happy we worked with Nicole. She is kind, she is friendly, and you can see her passion of photography throughout her process. We love Nicole and will be working with her in the future.

  I was introduced to Ava Moore Photography through my wonderful wedding planner, Missy McCoy, and I absolutely fell in love with Nicole's work! All of her wedding photography captured a romantic, southern feel with incredible lighting and feeling. She seemed to photograph the actual feelings of the couples. I was in love! After reaching out to Nicole about acquiring her services for my wedding we planned a phone call to discuss my visions and her approach to wedding shoots. I knew right from the start she was a perfect fit for me and my wedding! Nicole was so personable and accessible during the whole process! She was always so happy and quick to respond even with her busy wedding schedule! Nicole went above and beyond my expectations for a wedding photography! She gifted me a complimentary bridal photo shoot which were incredible. Her turn around on final pictures was so quick and the finished results were amazing. From the very first phone consultation to the final album selections she was a bride’s dream to work with. To be able to “just know” you can trust the expert, brings peace and excitement that things will be perfect.
  
  Some of our highlights from working with Nicole that might be of interest are:
  
  - She was willing to work on the wedding photography package make up since we opted out of an engagement shoot. Not every couple is the same so we were grateful she was willing to handle our requests and questions.
  - She is SO thorough! Her get to know you questionnaire and wedding photos questionnaire cover every detail! Knowing your photographer cares about the details, what is important to you, and wants to be educated going into the weekend is invaluable.

She recommended just going downtown and we figured we got all dolled up and ready, sure! Well, now I cannot imagine them being any where else! It is impossible to choose my favorites out of my engagement and wedding pictures because they are all so perfect!
