From the beginning, our first call, I had the feeling that I was talking to "real people" and I was spot on. Chef Alexis, Leo, Valentino and their team listened to me and prepared a wonderful menu and threw ideas that were perfect for my vision. And on wedding day, I was speechless; still everyone talks about the food and photographers talk about the place settings. The service was impeccable, and the servers were dressed so crisp and neat, all of them were constantly taking care of my guests; my mom would have taken all home. AV Gourmet has the best team and a superb food, full of flavor. I will always recommend them for any event.

A.V. Gourmet was the perfect choice for our wedding! From the very first zoom call with Leo and Chef Alexis, we knew they were very special people. They made us feel even more excited about our wedding than we already were. Leo guided us through the process with ease so much kindness, and Chef Alexis made us some absolutely incredible dishes (including some of the BEST chicken I have ever tasted!).
On top of feeding our wedding guests, Leo and Chef Alexis hosted us for a tasting, helped us pick the perfect chargers, plates, and silverware, provided us with amazing bartenders, and recommended us several other vendors at their industry discount.

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Chef Alexi, Leo, and the entire team from AV Gourmet! From the very beginning, their friendly, fun, and professional demeanor made the entire planning process incredibly smooth and stress-free.
On the big day, everything was flawless. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food—especially the hors d'oeuvres and the dinner, which featured a standout carving station, perfectly cooked crab cakes, fresh asparagus, and a selection of delicious desserts. Every detail was executed beautifully, and their team brought such positive energy to the day.

Chef Leo and Alexis (and their little pups) were the ABSOLUTE perfect addition to our annual friend family reunion in Georgia. They selflessly gave their time and energy to make three wonderful meals and day and even brought in a bartender to ensure we never went thirsty. Amazing Wedding Catering and Coordination!
We hired AV Gourmet for our daughter’s wedding. We first met Chef Alexis at a wedding expo. He made us feel very comfortable about handling a gluten free event for a celiac. The goal was to have the entire menu for the event be gluten free for the bride so there were no worries about the big day.
The menu put together for the reception was spot on making the feeling of a holiday meal for all the guests.
The bride and groom did have a tasting as well and that just solidified that we made the right decision. They were raving about the food.
We also had Leo as a coordinator to be sure we didn’t miss anything in our planning and to keep the day stress free knowing he had everything under control.
Their staff were friendly and professional as well.
I would highly recommend AV Gourmet for your wedding or event needs. They listen to your plans and work together to create the perfect event and pay attention to the details!!

We used AV Gourmet for our wedding in November. The highlights for us were the friendly staff, professionalism, and amazing food.
Leo did an excellent job helping us plan and making sure nothing was forgotten. Chef Alex did an incredible job with all of the food. AV Gourmet also provided us with our bartenders, who also did an amazing job. Overall, Leo, Alex, and the staff were extremely easy to work with and did an outstanding job.

I never had doubt that Chef Alexis, Leo and their team would rock my wedding and I was right. My grandmother told me that in her 92 years my wedding had the best food and like that every guest at my wedding. The food was out of this world and the servers and bartenders super nice and always attending our guests.

They exceeded our expectations!
The catering experience AV Gourmet provided was truly phenomenal. We had a Lord of the Rings themed wedding. From our first video chat with Chef Alexis and Leo, we knew they were the perfect caterer to fulfill our LOTR foodie dreams. They were just as enthusiastic as us and were so creative in designing a personalized menu to suit our needs. They even came up with the perfect names for each dish such as a “Shire-cuterie” grazing table with the best cheese we have ever tasted. In addition, they were so personable and overall had a beautiful celebratory energy that blended in so well with our celebration. From start to finish they were fast, efficient, and professional. The food was outstanding, and I cannot praise enough the care put into making our experience as memorable as possible. We will be hiring them again for smaller events, they were that good! Best team to work with - wonderful energy and spectacular food
We had a multi-day wedding celebration and invited Chef Alexis and Leo to cater all 3 days for us - it was such a wonderful experience from the delicious food all the way to the energy they brought to our event!
As we were preparing the menus for the multiple meals throughout the weekend, Chef Alexis and Leo catered to our every need - they provided many custom proposals (so much variety and great vegetarian-friendly options!), made time to have phone calls as often as we needed, created/updated menus multiple times as we refined our needs. Their contract was reasonable in terms of timeline to finalize guest count and their pricing was extremely transparent. They also allowed us to customize anything we wanted in their package.
During the entire weekend, they brought the best energy, big smiles, and the most amazing food that we could all tell was cooked with love. We had 3 different meals with them - an American food dinner, a BBQ dinner, and a brunch. Though the weekend was more casual, Chef Alexis and Leo were super professional interacting with us and taking care of the guests. They were on site early, food was prepared and ready to go according to the timelines we agreed on, and they had final touches on each meal to make it special (mimosa wall, picnic decorations for the BBQ, etc.).
It was the best experience working with them and having them feed us all weekend long! Thank you Chef Alexis and Leo - we are beyond happy and everyone left with full stomachs and happy hearts.

I cannot say enough good things about AV Gourmet!! Their food was absolutely incredible, the presentation was beautiful and the staff was so helpful and fun! They brought such a fun environment to our wedding and the food will be talked about for years to come! What a success!
AV Gourmet, led by the great team of Chef Alexis and Leo V, did wonderful work to help make our wedding a fantastic party success. How do we judge this? Prior to the event, they were very attentive to details and creative with food ideas to please. When your guests continue to come up to you during the party and volunteer special comments about the taste, the presentation and abundance of the food, it’s very meaningful. When there is continuous mention of the quality of the service and that needs are being met, it screams success. When I and my bride can look around the reception and see happy, smiling faces enjoying their food and drink, it warms our heart. Our wedding was modest in size but complicated in mix because we had an important group of vegan and gluten-free guests and we felt strongly they must be as comfortable as all others. This was a huge success – Chef Alexis knows vegan and knows gluten-free! Laura and I are extremely happy to recommend AV Gourmet to anyone having any type of small or large reception in the future.

I found Chef Alexis and Leo via Wedding Wire and they did not disappoint! They charge a very reasonable fee and made my wedding a dream come true. Our wedding was originally supposed to be in 2021 but due to COVID-19, our venue made us reschedule and Leo got right on contacting all of my vendors and getting everything rescheduled for me. They even had their own champagne wall which I thought was awesome. I recommend them to all my friends!

Wowww!!!!! From start to finish, our experience with Alexis and Leo was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend these caterers to anyone. They are absolutely amazing, they love what they do, and they put their entire heart and soul into their work.
The food was amazing, and they sought out our input and were able to make our dream a reality. The display was beautiful, the food was delicious, and everything was hot. Chef Alexis and Leo were both very punctual and never late, even when we were late. They even did brunch for us where they actually cooked inside of our cabins for the wedding party. We had snacks for getting ready, which was amazing. The rehearsal dinner was a beautiful display and amazing food. People were talking about the food for weeks after the wedding. They even packaged up the extra food, and had it placed in our honeymoon cabin after the wedding so that we had food to eat for the next two days. They even made us a pie bar, which was amazing and delicious! Their food plans are customizable, and they were able to provide us with vegan and gluten-free options.
Leo was our wedding planner and day of coordinator, and he also did a phenomenal job. I’m so thankful for Leo, and enjoyed everything along the way. He came with me to help me pick flowers out, sometimes we had drinks together, we played with the floral arrangements together, I just really had a good time planning and bouncing ideas off of each other. He helped us mail out invitations, which was nice. That was a part of the wedding planning that I was really not looking forward to, and Leo was kind enough to mail out all of our invitations for us.
There were a lot of hiccups with the venue, and a lot of obstacles that Alexis and Leo had to navigate. These were things that could not be predicted, but Alexis and Leo were able to save the day. I was shocked to learn the obstacles that they had to navigate for the day of the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding, and I was even more shocked that they were successful in navigating it. I’m still amazed at how they were able to navigate these hiccups!!! They were 100% dedicated to us, into making sure that our day went smoothly and was everything that we ever dreamed it would be.
I am so thankful for them both, and everything that they did for us for our wedding. I highly recommend them. We have made new friends in Alexis and Leo, and look forward to watching them grow and succeed more and more!! Wr love you, Alexis and Leo!!

EXCELLENT Event Catering - Weddings/Parties
AV Gourmet is an excellent catering company. The food was absolutely delicious and the display BEAUTIFUL. Chef Leo communicated with me and made me feel special throughout the entire process. The shrimp and grits, salmon, apricot chicken, mac and cheese were a complete success. We also had the champagne wall was really impressive. They provided us with more than what we even expected. Amazing people that put their foot forward
Im a wedding planner for 12 years and when I needed to decide about the catering for my wedding I knew a lot of caterers. From the dozens of caterers that I worked during my career I did not have any doubt that I would hire Chef Alexis and Leo for my wedding and I still it was my best decision.
The flavors were so on point that after trying so many caterers food Chef Alexis still rocks it. Both worked as a team for all the vendors and even my coordinator congratulated them. As a wedding planner I recommend to everyone these gentlemen, they are amazing.

Since the moment we contacted AV Gourmet to get a quote I fell special. I felt that I was important. All the process was smooth, and Leo's prompt emails responses and our cool zoom meetings, everything was smooth. I enjoyed every bit. Chef Alexis' salmon is to die for! Also had the shrimp and grits, his roasted vegetables, and his bruschetta...very tasty. Leo was very responsive and although I was a bit of a bridezilla towards the end, he bent over backwards to ensure that my wedding day went off without a hitch!

My husband and I had a great experience with AV Gourmet. The first time we met Alex and Leo was at the beautiful tasting they set up for us. The food was great, Alex is a very talented chef. I knew we made the right decision as time went by during the planning phases of our wedding. This team treated us like family. I felt like they were only focused on my wedding. There was not a moment that I felt like we were just another booking on their list. They are genuinely great people and I will never forget them. The food was set up and served very professionally. They printed very nice menus for our table settings, everyone complemented the food. When I contacted Chef Alexis and Leo I was positive that I would hire them if they accommodated my budget and vision. There is no enough compliments I can give them to the communication flow and skills. When we met for the tasting at their Sandy Springs Office everything fell in place. They heard what I wanted and they pulled it off that is when I realized that I would choose them for my wedding catering, there was no way around. The food was delicious and the presentation was even better, they used edible flowers and it was picture perfect. During the whole year of planning they always kept me informed and I never had to wait one day or two for their response. I met their assistants Latasha and Monique, who have been adorable to work with. No doubt Chef Alexis and Leo have a great team. On my wedding day, Sous Chef Stefan, and the event captains (Sorry I can't remember their names) were on point. I enjoyed my wedding, I had so much fun, all my guests and family members sent me several emails to make sure I review them because all of my guests agreed that the food was heavenly and that the service was flawless. Servers were so cute and professional. I got Chef Alexis and Leo thanks one of my bridesmaids that attended one of their weddings and she told me that the food was "out of this world", I am so happy I took her advice. I am so proud to say that now we are extended family. Chef Alexis and Leo are honest and down to earth people. I went to my best friend's wedding a few days ago and the dishes that were prepared were absolutely amazing. The crepes were absolutely to die for! Image, it’s only 10 days until 160 guests are coming to a wedding of a lifetime and your caterer bails. Panic...YES!!!! Chef Alexis just opened to the Georgia market and my daughter (the bride) found him. It was meant to be! Chef Alexis, Leo, and their crew saved the day. The positive energy, amazing amazing food, and love make our dreams come true. I couldn’t recommend them more. AV grourmet wedding caterer
BEST CATERER!! I lost my caterer a week before my wedding and AV gourmet stepped in and saved the day. He checked in with me to make sure every detail was perfect. AV gourmet goes above and beyond to make your day special. The food was incredible!!! The chef spent hours preparing and perfecting the most amazing meal I’ve ever had. They prepared a special menu just for my wedding and I got to pick any food I wanted (shrimp and grits is to die for!!) They are so professional and helpful that I don’t think my wedding would have gone smoothly without them. They make sure everything is absolutely perfect!! I can not thank them enough for making my wedding perfect. Everyone who attended is still raving about the food. They made it very memorable and special! If you want your day to be special then choose AV gourmet for your next event!!

Gourmet Cooking and Flawless Coordination
Chef Alexis and Leo helped us so much. There is no enough I could say about them and their team. The food is absolutely out of this world. The flavors are there and you can taste the gourmet style that Chef Alexis prepares his dishes. Leo presentation of our appetizers was a show stopper and the coordination flawless even tho rain was showing up from time to time. Leo not only had the Plan B already designed and under control. The crew knew about his plans. I am so happy that we chose them for our wedding. It was my best decision and I will recommend them to anyone. Great service, affordable price and warm people who deserve all the success they are having. Thanks to y'all.

I can not say enough good things about AV Gourmet! Firstly, I am a very type A professional and a diehard foodie so you can imagine the standards I have for someone to represent me at my event. Alexis and Leo were so easy going and never got frazzled by me or my worries. I ended up in the hospital for two days right up until two hours before my luxury corporate event... As you can imagine I was so worried about everything but when I arrived at the venue Alexis and Leo had set up everything so exquisitely. I was so happy, I actually cried. And I hadn't even tried the food yet! The savory courses were beyond delicious and the desserts tasted even better then they looked. All of our guests raved about the quality of the food; steak cooked tender and perfect temperature, perfectly bite sized caprese skewers, empanadas that everyone "on a diet" couldn't resist having two of! They took care of me as if I was their personal friend and they made me both a friend and customer for life.... Alexis and Leo have never even met me. I trust them with my reputation as a hostess and would recommend them for every occasion!

I stumbled upon this caterer by chance, and it was better than I could have ever hoped for. Chef Alexis and Leo truly were great and wonderfully sweet. The food was amazing and completely devoured at our event. I will absolutely use them again!

From there, they created a menu that was exactly what we were looking for, and uniquely ours. But more importantly, their service throughout was impecable and of the highest quality. I can't say enough about Alex and Leo! So, I'll try to keep this short and sweet. Alex' dishes are the perfect blend of exquisite comfort foods. Leo's meticulous attention to detail ensured every aspect was absolutely perfect. Most of all, they treated us like family from the very first meeting and still do today! I am the Mother of the Bride and I must say that Alex and Leo made my daughter's wedding memorable. They were for us in every detail. The food was absolutely delicious. They had the best staff, so cordial and nice. Even tho we got hectic because of some guests arriving pretty late, Leo coordinated everything to make it look that nothing happened. Leo is an excellent troubleshooter. Chef Alexis with his top white hat looked so professional, he checked himself with guests.
The service was superb with an extremely affordable price. I can't wait to have them for my 50th anniversary party. I will rehire them for that event. We fell in love with their personality. Spencer, Leo's son was so helpful and interested in everything he was doing. He will rock the business in the future like his dad. My husband and I have been pleased beyond our imagination with Chef Alexis' food, Leo's coordination and Spencer's help. They are amazing. !!!

It was a wonderful meal served. Even tho the cocktail hour started 30 minutes earlier and the day-of coordinator had all the guests and bride getting out through the kitchen door instead of the door that is by the bridal suite. AV GOURMET put a show when it was about the food. The coordinator Lilian left early, and she left the "officiant" coordinating, who was dancing and had AV GOURMET having their cue through the DJ. The event was horribly coordinated even those odds AV GOURMET pulled it off with grace and a wonderful meal, even they offered a second plate to the guests. I HIGHLY WANT AV GOURMET FOR MY FUTURE EVENTS.

I hired Chef Alexis and Leo for my wedding reception, and honesty it was my best decision. The food was absolutely delicious, Leo's coordination absolutely flawless. My best man recommended my fiance and I to try AV GOURMET for our wedding. We had a tasting and the food was delicious. But we researched with other caterers and there was no doubt in our minds that with the free day of coordination and rentals AVGOURMET was the most affordable. The process was flawless, the communication was great and in wedding day Leo, Chef Alexis, Spencer and Dante pulled a show. The rest of the servers were so neat and precise in the service. The food was absolutely delicious, guests still talk about it. Chef Alexis with his tall white hat personally checked on the guests. Leo's coordination was flawless even tho the weather was complicating the plans. There is not words enough how blessed we were to hire them. Still thank my best man Donovan for the referral. I hope Alex and Leo always keep the business like this, so personalized and truly gourmet. My fiance Sonia and I will recommend them anytime.

What great recommendation my mom gave me. She met Chef Alexis and Leo in a wedding and she told me that the food was delicious, so I decided to book a tasting. Everything at the tasting was delicious too. We visited their kitchen in Hillsborough and also their home in Raleigh. We fell in love because they are genuine. The staff was nice and helpful and we want to say that Dante (Leo's mini me) is terrific. He was always checking on me and making sure the guests were happy. And with some MOG kind of hectic and unorganized, Leo managed everyone and kept everyone on track. There is no enough compliments to say about my AV GOURMET Experience. I hope more brides have the chance to experience it too because my Special Day would have not been so special without their help!! Thank you to all the AV GOURMET Team!

I was a bridesmaid at my best friend wedding. in 2016. The another friend hired them for last month wedding. And I am going to keep it short and simple. Chef Alexis food was soooooo good and full of flavors that I end hiring him and Leo to do my wedding catering and my coordination. The prices are AFFORDABLE and you can taste in every bite that there is only gourmet cooking. Their crew was happy to help and incredibly nice. My best friend could not stop bragging about her choice for her wedding catering and we hope to have the same experience in our 2018 weddings. The communication is great and the personalized service is unique. Here in Raleigh everyone is a "cookie cutter" caterer, these guys are the real deal. Proud to say that I hired them for my 2018 wedding!!!!

Leo and Alex have rocked our corporate last week. They have been so helpful and the food is absolutely delicious. They answered emails and phone calls very fast and they designed a beautiful buffet display it was not only food, everything was delicious and with beautiful presentation. The food was colorful. I met Alex and Leo when they started advertising with my company...and quickly fell in love with them! I immediately recommended them to close friends who had an upcoming wedding. The tasting was unbelievable and my friends decided right then to use AV Gourmet for their special day. On the actual day of the wedding, the guys came out and prepared all of the food on sight. The most delicious buffet ever! They fit in with the crowd and we even got Alex to dance to a couple of songs after the guests were fed and satisfied. I would recommend AV to anyone for any event....the delicious food and amazing personalities are a combination that can't be beat!

I am the HR director for a national engineering firm here in Raleigh. We were having an executive team from our corporate office visiting Raleigh, and I really wanted something very special for these folks that included the president of our company along with the VP and CFO! As you can imagine the pressure was on. Well I turned to the web and how extremely lucky I was to find Alexis and Leo!! They both came to our office days before the event to meet with me and go over what I was trying to achieve. To say they did an amazing job is such an understatement. Every part of the event from start to finish was professional, polished, beautifully presented and probably most important, the food was spectacular! We had several dietary restrictions among some 30 attendees, and AV Gourmet delivered flawlessly. Alexis and Leo absolutely love what they do, and put everything they have into your event. I am so happy to have found them, and have actually had them cater again for our office since last fall. I wouldn't use anyone else for a special occasion or event when you want your guests to feel special, impressed, and when you don't want to worry about anything. They do it all! I have not only found two professionals to handle catered events for my office, but two of the kindest, most warm people I have ever known. I welcome both their love of cooking and their zest for life and am so lucky to have found them!

Chef Alexis makes the BEST individual pies. The crust was delicious!! The food display was very nicely presented. The staff they provided were very professional and always visible if you needed anything.

Leo & Alex are awesome! I asked for specific reception food and they put the most delicious meal together for our tasting. We didn't even go to anymore tastings, we were hooked. AV Gourmet is doing the food for the reception as well as my cake. They are providing rentals and day of coordinating and setup. My wedding is in April and so far AV Gourmet had done a great job at a great price. We would definitely recommend them!

Chef Alexis and Event Planner Leo did a FABULOUS job helping the Wake Women Attorneys put on their annual fundraiser. The food was spectacular, service was amazing, and the cost was heavily absorbed by AV Gourmet so that more funds could go directly to InterAct of Wake County. AV Gourmet leaves a lasting impression
This review is long over-due, as we were married in October, but AV Gourmet has left a lasting impression. Leo and Alexis were more like friends during the whole wedding planning process! We looked forward to our tastings and felt confident in trusting them with such a major aspect of our wedding. We also asked Leo to be our planner and he managed everything day of our wedding and at our rehearsal. We loved ALL of their staff as well! My maid of honor even pulled the Sous Chef onto the dance floor! We can’t thank them enough for contributing to our big day in such a big way!

I can honestly say from the moment I chose AVGourmet to cater my wedding and provide day of coordination they were sure to make sure all my questions were answered and thoroughly explain exactly what they would do to make my vision come alive. They were always available to talk via email, text or call and even provided two different tastings so that my husband and I would know exactly what was being served at our wedding. During rehearsal and the day of the wedding they were very professional, on time and made sure that what we asked for was implemented. AV Gourmet's food is delicious!!!
We loved AV Gourmet's food so much at our tasting, and were excited to hire them for our wedding menu! Chef Alexis puts so much love into his menu and his food, and it really shows! Alexis and Leo were always enthusiastic about our wedding and our menu. Our cocktail hour food was very yummy and creative, too (tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese bites, bruschetta on edible chip spoons, shrimp and grits in a martini glass, etc.) and Chef Alexis had one of the servers bring us a plate of all of our passed appetizers to us when we were inside at our reception venue signing our marriage certificate! If you hire them, please, PLEASE make sure you have mashed potatoes on your menu. They are the BEST! So creamy and delicious. I'd hire AV Gourmet again just for another taste of those potatoes! And his shrimp and grits are also to die for. The perfect amount of garlic and spice! Great vendor for a Southern wedding!
