Must Book! 5+ Stars

Photography and videography were my top priorities, and after a long search, Authentic Photo stood out immediately. Their Instagram felt real, unique, and personal like they truly captured people, not just moments.

From my first call with Tim (the owner), I knew I’d found the right fit. He listened, understood my need for direction and sensitivity around body image, and even suggested a second photo location which turned out to be perfect.

On the wedding day, Tim and Carlos were EVERYTHING! Creative, energetic, clear with direction, and genuinely fun. They made us feel comfortable, hyped us up, and brought out the best in us. My husband, who normally dreads photos, actually enjoyed the experience because of their vibe and guidance.

The very next day, Tim sent us sneak peek photos from our first look, and we were blown away. We haven’t even seen the full gallery yet, and I’m already giving a 5+ star review.

If I could do it all over again, I’d book Authentic Photo every single time. Their talent, energy, and professionalism are unmatched. I’m forever grateful for the memories they captured.

Amazing!!!

Tim is very talented and glad that we chose him as our wedding photographer! We initially met with Tim in August 2019 and booked our wedding for late March 2020. Tim was easy to work with and accommodating throughout the planning and re-planning process. We finally had our wedding in March 2022 and Tim helped to make the day run smoothly and was amazing. On the day of the wedding, Tim and his team were great, full of energy, and fun to work with. We decided to add on a photobooth at the last minute (days before the wedding), and Tim made it work! We received our photos just a few weeks after the wedding and absolutely love how they came out. We cannot wait to get our video from the day! Tim is super chill and can sometimes be difficult to get a hold of, but so glad that we used Authentic Photo and cannot thank Tim and his team enough for helping to make our wedding absolutely incredible!

We originally booked with Tim for May 2023 but due to unforeseen circumstances with my fathers health, we decided to move things up. Tim is BEYOND accommodating and willing to work with us considering the circumstances. He is professional, prompt, and when you are being the anxious bride, his demeanor and energy is just so calming you have no choice but to chill out LOL. He is EXCELLENT at what he does and his work SHOWS. Tim photographed my MOH back in 2019 and from that moment, I knew he would be the one I booked for my wedding. Looking for vendors can be stressful, especially when there are so many options and you are type A like I am. You will not regret having Authentic Photo part of your big day!

The most Amazing Photo Group ever!

Authentic Photo is a magnificent group of photographers that did a wonderful job capturing all the special moments from our wedding day and also our engagement photo shoot. For our wedding day we chose to hire 2 of their photographers, a videographer, and booked their photo booth. Both their photographers (owner Tim Kuder) and Rebecca Greff did fantastic jobs while Jose their videographer was incredible behind the camcorder. Their photo booth was stocked with an abundance of great props, Tim made sure that we had lots of props, especially Super Hero related ones for our Superman and Wonder Woman themed wedding. Our family and guests really took advantage of them and our photo booth pictures show it. We first booked Authentic Photo after being so impressed with a "Same Day Edit" they had done for our friends wedding. Sure enough all of our guests were shocked and amazed when they saw ours. Tim uses a drone to capture some absolutely stunning aerial shots and they're truly breathtaking. They're friendly and professional, we couldn't have asked for any better. Exactly what we were looking for

Tim along with his crew did an amazing job. They made sure everything was perfect and did exactly what we had on our list of must do pictures. The Best Ever!

I wouldn’t recommend anyone for videography besides Tim and his team. We just got our video back and are so in love with the work they did. The whole reception you never even knew they were there. They do awesome drone shots and the team in general is just awesome to work with.
Highly recommend!!!!

It's been almost 3 months since our wedding (yes, i'm a slow reviewer but better late than never!), but I still find myself admiring our wedding photos! I'll never get tired of looking at them! I have them shared all over my social media, and my friends and family have nothing but praise on how beautiful our pictures came out! Tim is so easy to work with, and he made us feel so confident in our decision in choosing him as our wedding photographer. He's so creative, energetic, and fun, and it shows in his work. We found Authentic Photo through our DJ. Tim was highly recommended to us by Fernando of Blanc Noir Event Group, who was the DJ for our wedding. I can't write a review on Authentic Photo without mentioning their office! AP and BNEG share an office, and it truly reflects their personality! It's fun, colorful, and vibrant, yet professional and classy. They make good use of their office space by showcasing their excellent work and talent. I know they're two separate businesses, but together, they make such a great team and we're so glad to have them both at our wedding! Authentic Photo not only took our wedding pictures, but they also captured all the love and emotion from our happily ever after! It was truly a day/night to remember, and we have Authentic Photo to thank for helping us immortalize our magical night in print and video! Tim and Authentic Photo were amazing to work with. From the first time we met with Tim we knew we wanted to work with him. He was fun, personable, and so friendly. I was big on not having cheesy wedding photos but wanted natural fun pictures and Tim delivered. He got all the shots that were important to me during the time frame I wanted because he knew how important enjoying cocktail hour and the reception was to me. He was super responsive and just all around a pleasure to work with. I cannot wait to see our finished video/trailer/and all of the pictures!

By far the best photo/video team ever! I was so lucky to find Tim when I was at my friends wedding and saw his same day edit, right then and there i knew i had to have him and his team for my wedding. I booked him a year in advance and would recommend doing so. He is so talented and definitely has a special eye. Love his style of work, never stressed out, very well organzed and basically AMAZING!

Where do I even begin? Tim was the absolute best!! Him and his team made our day so easy and stress-free when it came to pictures. They made everyone so relaxed and comfortable. Tim was a true pleasure to work with! He did our engagement session ahead of time to help us get acclimated to one another, and provided amazing, quick, proofs. He was early, dapper, and completely on board for whatever our giant (11 person per side) wedding party, insane mixed family (divorces and the like), plus all our guests. Tim's photo booth was a crazy hit & he made the "guest book" process a breeze!

There are no words to adequately describe the work produced by Tim Kuder and Authentic Photo. Incredible, amazing, perfect - they all fall short. We used Authentic Photo as our videographer for our wedding and could not be happier. On our wedding day, we took note of how meticulous and creative Tim and the entire Authentic Photo team were with the shots they "just had to get". When we received our highlight video, we were left speechless. It was absolutely perfect. Tim is truly incredible to work with. Not only did he take the time to get to know each member of our family and bridal party, but, despite coming dressed in a perfectly tailored outfit, he worked to get the perfect shot each and every time. We were completely blown away by how professional and personable he was. Without even the slightest reservation, we would recommend Tim a million times over and never think twice. To quote the most common feedback we've received from others, "I wish we knew about Tim for our wedding; this is the most amazing video I've ever seen." Choosing a photographer can be an uncertain endeavor. Until you stumble upon Authentic Photo! There isn't enough stars or a rating that we could give Tim and his amazing team. They're professional, patient and truly one of a kind studio that really understands concerns and needs of their clients. So many people told us don't worry about photos that much because you won't really look at them often. I'm sure they are right, if you choose the other photographer you're looking at. Don't do it. The photos are so amazing you can't stop looking at them. They will be all over our house and at our friends and families. Tim will undoubtably be a hard to get photographer very soon so snag him up! He photos speak for themselves with amazing emotion, color and depth. He has a natural talent for composition and can literally take any scenario and capture a unique, beautiful opportunity. On a more personal note, Tim was a great person to spend time with and get to know. Our family adores him and is blown away. Our friends couldn't stop talking about how much fun he is. My bride and I have no words for how grateful we are for Tim capturing the most amazing moments of our lives thus far and we look forward to using the studio again.

In planning a wedding, people can get caught up with going with the "most used"/ "most reviewed" vendors -which leads to the talented up and coming vendors to easily get glanced over
With that being said, it was fate through an introduction by Blanc Noir Events group, (who Tim Kuder of Authentic Photo also works with) where we got a chance to view some of Authentic Photo-Tim Kuder's work and were truly impressed.

Tim is an extremely talented photographer, a common tale of someone who left their day job because they wanted to pursue their passion in the art of photography - a truly courageous task. There is a genuine kindness and professionalism to Tim that gave us the impression that we would love having him being a part of our special day. These vendor meetings are like interviews - can they fit the culture of our wedding? How can they contribute to it? Tim takes pride in his work so we knew our wedding moments would be captured exactly how we envisioned it to be. He was on-time on the day of the wedding and made the process seem so smooth, we had quite a few photography sessions (prep,church, park, reception) I should mention it helped that he got along with our videographer (Breathe Artistic- Ivan Palaez-Side note: THIS is important. You're hiring a team, and everyone needs to vibe well.)

Our wedding pictures were breathtaking! He's the type of photographer that will show up in a tailored blazer and nice slacks but then be on a grassy field risking getting that outfit dirty just so he can get the "right shot." He was never "in the way" stealing us from enjoying our wedding day to pose awkwardly, he somehow managed to grab the perfect shots because he has that photographer intuition-that sense that "a moment is about to happen, let me capture it."

He's committed and his commitment is seen in our wedding pictures. We were truly grateful to have Tim and his time from AP be a part of our special day- We highly recommend Authentic Photo.

I don't even know where to begin with Tim Kuder and Authentic Photo. From the first email I knew that this would be the best decision we could have made. Tim worked with us answered any and all questions we had no matter how silly they were. He made us feel so incredibly comfortable and confident.

From the start of the wedding Tim and his team took complete charge. We really needed this day of. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and just directed everyone else. The moment him and his team arrived i suddenly felt like a weight was lifted.

I am so incredibly impressed by the video we received. I must have watched it over 70 times. It was absolutely perfect and he captured everything i could have ever wanted in less than 4 minutes. I really feel as if i was watching a preview to a movie. I cannot wait to receive the longer version.

I usually am the type of person that needs to know every detail and want to be apart of every decision but i let Tim and his team have full reigns on this. The song that was chosen for this video i didn't even know existed and it could not have been more perfect and fitting.

My wedding memories would not have been the same without Authentic Photo. We really are forever grateful you can really see the passion Tim and his team have through their work. Best investment ever!!!!!! look no further, Authentic Photo does it all!!!

We hired Tim's team to photograph and film our wedding Labor Day weekend and absolutely LOVED their services. Tim wasn't able to shoot our wedding as he was already booked that day, but Doug, Cat and Ivan did an incredible job in his absence!! The whole team was very organized and quick to film so my wife and I didn't lose anytime in enjoying our reception. We chose to go to the venue prior to the ceremony and have a reveal in the vineyard (we were married at a winery) as per Tim's suggestion which was honestly a great idea. By doing this, we were able to get a lot of the pictures done prior to our ceremony and reception with just my wife and I and also with our wedding party. This limited the number of pictures needed after the ceremony and let us enjoy our cocktail hour instead. We had so much going on at our reception (inflatable jousting ring, caricature artist, photobooth, ice cream truck, s'mores fire pit) that we were afraid his team might miss some great opportunities for pictures. But once we received our pictures, we couldn't believe how much we missed! They captured so many great shots of our guests enjoying the reception that we loved reliving the day again through these pictures. And as per Doug and Catalina's recommendation, my wife and I got some of the most amazing shots just before the reception ended in the vineyard at sunset. And one of the best surprises was that Ivan brought his drone and we were able to get amazing aerial shots of us in the vineyard and of our wedding party. He even put together a short video and set it up on his laptop for our guests to enjoy during the reception!! We haven't received our trailer or video yet but I'm sure both will be just as beautiful as the photography was and we can't wait to see them. Thank you Authentic Photo for capturing one of the best days of our lives!!

I am so glad I went with Tim from Authentic Photo as my wedding photographer!
The most amazing day of your life goes by in such a blur you can't believe how important the pictures are! Tim was amazing in getting the entire wedding party together to take amazing pictures! All of the pictures taken went by smoothly and Tim was stupendous making everyone look absolutely flawless!

Working with Tim and Carlos was absolutely amazing!! We used Authentic Photo for our videography and photo booth and everything was perfection. Tim was professional, warm and fun to work with, making us feel very comfortable and natural. He clearly has a natural eye and talent for artistic modern shots. I cannot wait to see how great our wedding video turns out! I know it is going to be incredible! The photo booth was also simply the best. The photo quality on the strips was fantastic, the props were so fun, and the backdrop was beautiful! We were also able to customize the bottom of the strip to exactly how we wanted. Tim and Doug were beyond professional and really made both my new husband,myself and our parties feel completely relaxed and as if we didn't need to worry about a thing. Ever the professional Tim came to parents home and within seconds had the house. Append out and the lighting and coloring all set! I would only recommend Tim and have already to a coworker who is using him for her October wedding!!!!

We could not be more pleased with Tim and Authentic Photo. From the first conversation to the end of the event, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Tim's flexibility and willingness to please made selecting Authentic Photo a true "no brainer." He has a great artistic style and was a perfect match for our untraditional wedding in an urban garden followed by a cocktail style reception.

Tim was a lot of fun to have as the photographer for our wedding. He was very easy to reach throughout the entire process and the price seemed more than reasonable. He even brought along a second photographer on the day of the wedding for no added cost which worked out well, and all of the pictures came out great! Tim had no problem with going to my wife's house the day of the wedding as her and the bridal party got ready from there. Everyone in the wedding party had a good time with Tim and we would definitely recommend him to a friend!!

Tim and his team at Authentic Photo are TRULY amazing at what they do! Initially my husband and I were concerned that we would miss much of our wedding reception considering this is something we heard from a lot of our friends and their experiences. Many people told us that photographers usually "pull you away from all the action," well.... with Tim and his team, it was the complete opposite! Tim went out of his way to make sure that he knew exactly what shots were a priority to us and was creative with certain shots that he thought would be nice and unique as well. Because of Tim's unbelievable talent and professionalism, he had all of our pictures done before many of our guests even arrived for cocktail hour! This was great because my husband and I were able to walk around our cocktail hour and greet our guests and even during the reception, Tim made sure that he captured the most perfect moments without being intrusive (as many of our friends had told us that their photographers were).

I also have to say from the moment that Tim arrived at my house in the morning to take pictures of all the girls and I getting ready, I knew we had made the right decision picking him as our wedding photographer! He arrived and got right to work and could not have made my bridesmaids, my family and I feel more comfortable with him! Then when we got our photos back, we were completely blown away by ALL of them and again were so happy with our decision to use Authentic Photo for our wedding. We are currently working on our photo album and it is SO difficult to choose the pictures because Tim did such a beautiful job with every single shot! Tim was great on our wedding day ! He was at my hotel room bright and early to take photos of everyone getting ready, and throughout the entire day. I definitely would recommend him for photos. They came out amazing

Hands down one of the most flawless photographers we have ever seen!! Anthony and I absolutely loved his work for our engagement pictures and our wedding!!!! tim was AMAZING at our wedding. we loved him so much that we use him for everything now. he did a photoshoot for my nieces 5th birthday, will be using him for our sons first christmas and first birthday pictures and i recommend him to everyone.

We used Tim for our wedding on June 7th for both photography and could not have been happier. Tim was extremely professional throughout the entire process. He arrived on time and got straight to work. He made everybody feel so comfortable while shooting, and had a ton of creative and different suggestions for us to keep everything moving, but also made sure to capture the feel that we wanted for our wedding. Everybody loved him. We had pouring rain the day of our wedding and he and his team didn't hesitate to set up outside and take some beautiful shots and video in the rain and somehow managed to make the rain look like a good thing!! I could not have asked for better and could not have been any happier with our pictures. We have received so many compliments on our pictures and have been asked many times who did them. We were given access to our full wedding gallery in a timely manner (I think between 1-2 weeks) and Tim sent me one of the best shots the same night of the wedding, which was a really nice thing to have so quickly! He also had a few other pictures available just a couple days after the wedding, which was nice to see a preview of what he had shot. The pictures are such high quality and came out gorgeous. We have only seen our highlight video so far (which is such a nice thing to have and Tim makes easy to share with friends and family), but the editing and quality is absolutely beautiful and really captures the feel of our day! It looks like a movie. Tim was so great to work with; I have recommended him to all my friends, and I would definitely use him again for another event!

Tim did our engagement photos about a year ago and we couldn't wait for him to shoot our wedding! We used both Tim and Chris for photography and videography and couldn't be happier! They arrived on time, set up quickly and made everyone feel totally comfortable. They had such great ideas for different locations for pictures and the teasers I've seen so far have looked amazing! We seriously cannot thank Tim enough for everything! :)

Tim did an amazing job at our wedding. He captured everything we wanted plus more! He was very professional, flexible, accommodating and down to earth. All our family and friends love how the pictures came out and loved how he was snapping away at everything. We would definitely use him again!

Tim Kuder and Authentic Photo made my wedding photography and video appear effortless! They are professional, sincere and FULL of energy. The team arrived early and stayed late. Our photographer for my daughter's Quinceanera (Sweet 15) was very open to the event. He was professional at all times. Tim Kuder was the perfect fit in the style my daughter was looking for. Everyone at the event watched how he moved around in the crowd and captured all the memories we share today!!! I would recommend him without no doubt! Thanks Tim!!

Tim Kuder and his team are so talented! I am so so happy that we hired him as our photographer and videographer. He clearly is so passionate about his work and it shows in his photos and video. He showed up almost an hour early to my hotel than scheduled and got in some amazing shots while we were getting ready. He captured every piece of the entire day and night. We received over 2,000 photos on an online album just a few weeks after our wedding. He listened to our suggestions and delivered more than what we could have ever expected. Nothing cheesy, forced or posed, genuine "authentic" and stunning photos. Our highlight film looks like a music video! He even used a drone!!!! I can't speak highly enough of how fantastic his work is - you will not be disappointed. His office space is also totally cool. Hire Authentic Photo and you will not be disappointed!!!

Authentic Photo was an absolute blast to work with. Tim and his team are full of energy, talent, and creativity and are so committed to delivering what you want. For example, I wanted to take our engagement photos in snowy Central Park and Tim made that dream come true, coming all the way into the city for us right after a big snow storm. On our wedding day, Tim and his team of three (a second photographer, a videographer, and an assistant) showed up early to get settled and jumped right into capturing our day. We had so much fun taking photos with our wedding party. Tim suggested we do a "first look" and formal photos (wedding party and immediate families) before the actual ceremony so we could enjoy the evening with everyone and that was a great call. They were efficient in setting us up to get the shots we wanted. I highly recommend their photobooth - the props are awesome and everyone was talking about it. Our reception venue had a media wall, so Tim even live uploaded some of the formal pictures from earlier in the day plus some photobooth gems, and our guests really enjoyed getting to see those sneak peeks. Our wedding was just two weeks ago, so we haven't gotten the photos/cinema yet, but we know they will be stellar based on what we've seen!!

We used Authentic Photo for both photography (with a second shooter) and videography and are so pleased with the result. Tim and his guys were prompt, professional and flexible. They were great at being inconspicuous, keeping us on schedule and really we felt like Tim was more of a friend than a vendor. Tim made us feel at ease with our photo experience despite rain on our wedding day. We got our photos back just two weeks after our wedding!
Our wedding highlight video has been such a success and our friends and family can't stop talking about it. I'd definitey recommend Authentic Photo to anyone!

I was so excited that Tim was available to shoot our wedding! The videography was really important to us and one of things we were looking forward to seeing the most. Tim was easy to work with on the day-of and the highlight reel was awesome.

That said, the video took absolutely forever and responsiveness was really slow. The contract we signed was essentially null, given that it took so long to get the final product. I did not put up a fight or demand our money back, but I do need others to know what they are up against. I did not bargain for such frustrations post-wedding.

Extremely Disappointed

I will start off with the positive feedback before getting into the negative and why I would not recommend them. The same day edit was phenomenal. All my guests raved about how good it was and we were very pleased with it. In general, Tim and his team do bring good energy to the day of your wedding. The photos were fine for the most part and same with our engagement photos.

Now, for the negative part. Tim did not take a single portrait of me in my wedding dress. He took a lot of lovely photos of me in my getting ready robe, but that is not the focus of the day. There are plenty of portraits of my husband in his tux, but none of me in my dress. I sent Tim many inspo photos prior to our wedding day of photos I wanted, including bridal portraits, and he did not execute one of them. He blamed not taking portraits of me on the wedding venue for rushing us but there was plenty of time before the church he could have photographed me in my dress. Instead, he got caught up in my getting ready outfit and had no time management and did not take the most important photos (of course, besides the ones with my husband). This is what I hired him for - to get the photos I wanted in the amount of time that we had to do them. That is his job. I reached out to Tim a few times for our photos and it took a few times to get in touch with him to finally get the photos (I’ve heard this from a few other brides in this group). On top of that, I had expressed my disappointment in not taking bridal portraits and he offered to redo them. But what about the money to redo my hair, makeup, recreate my entire look from my wedding day? It feels disingenuous and ignorant for a wedding photographer to think it’s THAT easy to just redo my wedding portraits at any given time of the year. Moreover, he said he was expediting my video at the end of December and after following up with him numerous times, he finally got it to me in February.

All in all, my opinion on Tim is that he unprofessional, inattentive, disengaged, and lacks communication skills. I think that he is very inexperienced in this space and being this is not his main career, if you care a lot about your photos I would not go with Authentic. Do yourself a favor and get someone who is experienced in the space and do your thorough research before hiring. Maybe for a less serious event Authentic would be fine but they did not deliver on one of the most important days of our lives. I tried to be supportive of a business run by a local guy around my age but that backfired on us. Truly, my biggest regret of my wedding day is choosing Authentic as my photographer.

Tim is a nice guy. He was so thorough at my wedding that I could not wait to see everything we had missed out on! Within 3 weeks we were notified that our wedding video teaser was online. It took my breath away...

A few weeks later I contacted Tim and inquired about the full length video. He told me he would be in touch as soon as it was ready. Six months went by. I have contacted him on numerous occasions since then and only once has he responded. It took nearly 8 months (which is much more than the 8-10 week time frame we were quoted) to receive my DVDs...I'm just thankful they finally showed up on my doorstep!
