Absolutely amazing!!

To any of my friends who are looking for a quality DJ for their wedding, I’d highly recommend Austin. He was extremely easy to work with, and coordinated with our planners to make our wedding day go as smoothly as it could have gone! Everything with the ceremony went perfectly and he got everyone out on the dance floor for our reception. He went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time.

Amazing experience!

Austin was perfect! Super fun to work with, and knows what he’s doing! He had the perfect timeline planned out for the reception and offered so many new innovative ideas to put a twist on typical wedding reception traditions! The music was absolutely perfect from beginning to end, and the night ended entirely too soon! Also would highly recommend using his lighting. He has any color you can think of, and had people in awe on the dance floor! Use the sparkulars for a one of a kind jaw dropping exit!

Professional and appeals to large crowds

We had the pleasure of working with Austin for our wedding night. Austin was very professional and kept us on track with the schedule all night. The music selection was tailored to us and worked out perfectly. Would absolutely recommend him and his company to others.

We are so happy to have had Austin as our wedding DJ! From the start he was a great communicator and made sure every detail of our evening was well thought out. We really appreciated his interest in learning details about our relationship so that he could personalize the evening to be unique and special for us. His music, lighting, MC, and just everything was all so perfect. Had multiple guests come to us afterwards wanting his contact information. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

DJs are absolutely vital to your wedding day. They can make or break your reception. And the best way to ensure you have a phenomenal reception is booking Austin. Austin was AMAZING. He had everything organized down to the second. He not only played amazing music and made us all have an amazing time, but he coordinated the entire reception. My husband and I signed our marriage license during our ceremony in front of everyone and completely forgot to tell him about it or pick a song. Austin was so quick on his feet and had a beautiful song playing in seconds. What could have been a very awkward silence turned into a beautiful moment for us all! Austin is freaking PHENOMENAL!!!! Music was one of the top 2 things I absolutely needed at our wedding and when I read his reviews I knew he would be the guy to get. He worked with our budget and asked all the questions I never thought to ask to make sure he knew just what we wanted. He even helped with the reception timeline because my plan of "I don't care as long as there's music" wasn't that detailed lol He was a blast to work with and everyone loved him. I will definitely be contacting him for any parties in the future!!! If you have a chance to hire him, you won't regret it!

Austin was so awesome to work with! We worked a wedding together out at The Orchard in Azle back in March and he was so professional and easy going. promise you will not regret hiring Austin. He was kind, organized and energetic - all the things I wanted on the day of my wedding. Prior to the wedding, I wanted someone who could envision the day with me, and he did just that. He was so easy to talk to and executed everything perfectly. I was one who didn't think the DJ was one of the top important things at our wedding when we first started planning, and now that the day is done I can tell you how wrong I was to think that! The entire flow of the day and the overall feeling wouldn't be what it was with out Austin's services. He helped keep us on schedule, keep the crowed entertained and of course kept everyone dancing! Austin not only planned out the agenda for the day,but also he was the sole person to help keep it on track, and that was invaluable. From the introductions, to the garter/ bouquet toss to the flow of music, Austin helped make it what it was! It may seem like the DJ is just in the background, but they really are responsible for the entire feeling of the night. I couldn't have known how valuable Austin was until it was over, but now I know and would recommend him to anyone!

He took care of us, and was there early on top of everything. So thankful to have someone that did lighting, music, collaborated with my other vendors and who basically planned out our wedding timeline. He did an amazing job! Happy that we chose Austin!

Austin was the best choice we could have made for a DJ! He is super organized, has the fastest response time ever and really wants you to enjoy your big day. We didn't have a coordinator at our wedding and Austin totally took care of everything. He comes with a timeline ready and sticks to it without making anything feel rushed, always wants to try and add a personal touch to the reception and most importantly keeps the party alive. We used some of his "intelligent lights" which was an awesome choice, it really set the vibe and allowed for a spot light on first dances. We would totally recommend Austin to anyone looking for a stress free experience!!

Holy moly where do I even begin to describe our amazing experience with Austin! He truly MADE are wedding the most memorable night of our lives! He is truly dedicated to his work as a DJ. He will go above and beyond to make sure your music is exactly how you want it down to a T. He was with us every step of the way when planning our reception music and it could not have gone better! He is so personable and I couldn't have asked for a more incredible person to not only have as a DJ, but to serve as an awesome MC for the night. As a wedding photographer, I rely heavily on a professional DJ who is able to deliver a quality, fun, and energized event. Austin coordinated with me weeks before the actual wedding to make sure we were on the same page. He was extremely knowledgeable and expeditious in all communications. I knew before I even showed up that it was going to run smoothly. I was confident that having a professional on board, I would be properly cued for important events, such as first dance, toast, cake cutting, & the send off. I was highly impressed with his ability to navigate unanticipated circumstances with grace & knew just how to keep the spirit of the party alive and kicking. Austin exceeded all my expectations; a sentiment I heard echoed throughout the wedding by the wedding party & guests. Anyone who hires Austin is guaranteed a stellar reception! We loved working with Austin! We hired him to DJ our wedding and he was there every step of the way! Austin offered great ideas for our reception and was so easy to work with. The weather on our wedding day was awful. Severe thunderstorms with a strong chance of tornadoes. By the end of the day there were even two cyclones that had touched down nearby!
We ended up starting the ceremony early and about half of the guests never showed up at all. On top of that the guests that did show up weren't exactly the party animals of the family.... luckily Austin knew exactly how to get everyone into the moment and keep the party alive! We were so happy with the service he provided and although I can't speak for all of the guests, my wife and I had a great time. We definitely recommend this DJ!

Austin pulled off a flawless evening for our wedding! The dance floor was literally packed until the very last song and the energy was high all night. He did an incredible job as both a DJ and an MC. What I loved most about working with him was that he did not have the attitude of "this is how I've always done things so this is what we are doing". He worked with us and found all sorts of creative ideas and unique solutions to some special things we wanted to incorporate during the ceremony. My brother is a musician and played the father/daughter dance song live, and Austin called him and worked with him to make sure he had all the right equipment and they made a plan together. It's very refreshing to work with someone who's so passionate and excited to try new things and really loves their job. I'll definitely be recommending him to my friends & family in the area. Austin was the most amazing dJ anyone could ask for. I met him at a different event I was working and fell in love with his professional and BEAUTIFUL set up! I mean WOW. He puts his entire heart into what he does and he NEVER lets you down. I just asked him to do my wedding that was on Friday March 31st, and I could not have asked for a better man for the job!! We hired Austin for our wedding as our DJ and for lighting on the recommendation of someone and we are so glad we did. Our initial consultation was at one of our favorite favorite restaurants. Austin was on time, professional, prepared, and enthusiastic for our big day. He gathered as much info as possible and took an authentic interest in getting to know not only us, but our family and friends to really create a personal and fun environment. Throughout the planning process, Austin was readily available via text, email, or phone day and night for even the smallest questions. He joined us at our venue to plan out our lighting concept at no additional charge to make sure it would be perfect. On the day of our wedding, Austin was there to set up, test his equipment, run things by me prior to our big day, and make sure that we were going to be happy with final product. The ceremony music was absolutely perfect. The volume was perfect, the timing was perfect, we couldnt have been more pleased. He provided a microphone for our officiant and the quality and volume of his voice was flawless. Once the cocktail hour started, Austin had selected a variety of music that was not only tasteful, but created a beautiful and romantic environment. The uplighting was perfect and really made the entire reception what is was....flawless and elegant during cocktails and dinner then a fun party for the rest. His attitude and professionalism was evident when addressing our guests throughout the evening. He was easy for our guests to relate to and was outgoing and fun all evening. Once our party began, the atmosphere couldnt have been better. Our dance floor was never empty and the lighting effects were amazing...how could someone not dance. Ahh- where do I even begin?! I didn't have a planner or coordinator, so he filled all of these roles. He helped organize our line up, told us when to cut the cake, all of it! He also brought out special up-lighting that totally transformed our space-- they were wedding colors during the ceremony then changed with the music to make our reception so much more festive. He led us through the copperhead road dance, and even brought a fun spin the bottle game to get everyone to dance! And of course, the music was great- his speakers were more than enough to fill our large outdoor space! We wouldn't have changed a thing... Austin is the best!

"I hired Austin to provide DJ services for my daughter's wedding reception at Quartz Mountain Resort, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma on April 18, 2015. We had approximately 450 guests at the reception that ranged in ages from 17 to 85. He managed to keep the guest entertained and on the dance floor the entire evening. His equipment is top of the line and the sound system is excellent. Austin is very professional. I have been working with him for 13 months while planning the wedding. He was always prompt at returning my calls and emails. I had numerous complements on his performance from the guests. I definitely use him again in the future as well as refer my friends and family to him. Five Stars for Austin Smith!!!!!!"

One of the best DJs around and I have worked as an event coordinator for many years. We chose Austin to DJ for our wedding and he went out of his way to make sure everything went perfect. We had some pretty extensive cue and timing requests for the ceremony music and everything was executed exactly as I had envisioned! I also had some pretty atypical song requests and he exceeded all of our expectations! I would recommend Austin for any event. We were extremely pleased with our experience and got everything we had hoped for! He can meet any request and is also extremely knowledgeable if you are in need of more direction and input. His setup offered great quality and sound! We wouldn't hesitate to book Austin again for all of our DJ and sound needs!

As we all agree, your wedding day is your most important day of your life! I can't express my gratitude and love for everything Austin put together. Let me start of by saying that Austin is simply phenomenal! I had booked a DJ in February for my daughters wedding on September 23 in The Colony, Texas. The DJ I hired double booked himself and reached out to Austin to cover the event and I could not be happier that he did! Austin drove from Oklahoma City to play my daughters wedding. The potential for disaster due to the original DJ's lack of professionalism melted away when Austin arrived. Austin had great communication skills, was extremely professional and had an innate ability to read the crowd and play just the right music to please everyone. I highly recommend his services but ONLY if you want the very best in the DJ industry.

Austin Smith was the perfect hire for our wedding. Throughout the planning phase he was extremely helpful and always promptly answered any questions we had. On the day of he showed up on time and we had so much fun! He moved things along nicely and was able to get us all dancing and enjoying ourselves. Austin was the best DJ we could've asked for. He went above and beyond to make sure our night went perfectly and as planned. He was extremely professional and easy to get in contact with throughout the entire process. If you have it all figured out and know exactly what you want, he will get it done for you. If you have some questions or need some ideas and help, he will be more than happy to assist with that as well. I highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed.

Austin did a fabulous job as the DJ for our wedding. He was very easy to communicate with and was helpful prior to the wedding. During the wedding/reception he did a great job keeping the energy level up he even got on the dance floor with us to teach us a line dance at one point. We had many compliments on how fun our wedding was and I definitely have to give some credit to Austin! I would definitely recommend Austin Smith Events!

We decided on a DJ fairly last minute. As soon as I contacted Austin, he was setting up a phone call to get better acquainted and get game plan. Austin was extremely professional and organized. I felt at ease knowing he was taking care of everything and never worried he wouldn't have anything handled. We had an odd request for our first dance song and Austin made our dream come true with a mash-up of our favorite songs. We would recommend Austin to any of our friends getting married!

Mr. Smith was honestly a blessing on our Big DAY! He is nice, professional, and flexible. My husband and I had very very busy schedules with work before the wedding but Austin took time everyday to check in with me and see when a good time to meet was that would work for us. We finally were able to meet and he was ready with everything I needed. He had everything printed out and ready to go. Everything we wanted he did. We were so thankful he was truly an amazing DJ! We had THE PERFECT music (everything we wanted) nothing we didn't and he was there EARLY to set up and maintained a professional manner the entire wedding. I would recommend him to my own family he was that GREAT! I can't say enough nice things because my wedding was just so perfect. 5 STARS HANDS DOWN.

Very professional and personable with all my family and friends! I've never seen a Dj quite like Austin! I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat! He may be young but he knows what he's doing!!!!

We picked Austin to be our Dj for our special day & couldn't have been more pleased! He showed up on time (which is huge on such a crazy day) had everything he needed, & was very flexible with staying later when asked! He was always quick to respond to the hundreds (literally hundreds) of questions and concerns I had for wedding day. He was also very professional!! I would definitely recommend him for any type of event!!

Austin was always available prior to the event to tailor the event to our needs. On the day he set up well in advance of the event and dressed appropriately and respectfully to the event. His choice of music, the lights, and everything else could not be faulted and when dealing with an audience of high school students it says a lot.

Austin DJ'd a philanthropy event for my sorority and we couldn't have been more pleased! He did a great job of keeping the crowd lively for the whole night. He is prompt about playing requests and likes to keep the crowd happy! He did a great job and we will re-use him in the future.

Austin is the best wedding DJ we could've chose by far. His guidance and experience is way beyond his years! He was very organized and responsive! Then during the wedding he kept the flow natural and the party going! He is well worth it, no doubt!

Austin and his crew were a vital part of making our wedding ceremony and reception awesome. We were told multiple times from guests that our reception was one of the most beautiful places they had been for a wedding, and a big part of that was the lighting which was coordinated by Austin. As for the DJ work, he capably handled audio at our ceremony, the setlist for the reception was great, the volume of music was perfect for dinner and then for dancing, and he did a great job as emcee for the night. Austin is very organized and worked with us for months beforehand to make sure all the details were ironed out. I would definitely recommend Austin as a reliable and quality choice for a wedding DJ.

We hired Austin as our DJ for our wedding and he did such an amazing job! He kept everyone excited and on the dance floor, keeping it fun and high energy the whole time. He is well-priced and very organized. He wrote out a timeline so we would have an idea of how the night was going to go and he met up with us multiple times to ensure he would make it the best time possible. Would highly recommend!

We chose Austin to DJ our wedding and couldn't have been happier with how everything went. Months before the wedding he went with my wife to the venue to scope out the reception area and make a game plan for how he would set everything up. He was also very responsive to our emails and texts as the big day approached (something you really appreciate when you are coordinating so many things!). He played all of the songs on our particular play list for the cocktail hour and each specific song for our special events. During the dancing, he kept the energy up, with a good mix of songs and smooth transitions between them. He also provided some extra services that we ended up really enjoying, such as playing a powerpoint slide on a TV during the reception and setting up really cool uplighting for mood. Overall, very personable and great to work with. We highly recommend him for your big day!

Austin was very flexible and allowed me to play guitar at my reception. The only negative feedback that I have is that he did not play the music that I suggested and chose his own soundtrack. The other criticism I had was that he didn't check with us about a sweetheart song so we had to come up with one on the fly. The music that he played while we ate was too loud and was not what we requested, which was Frank Sinatra stuff. Additionally, there was one song repeated. However, he was professional and he offered some fun activities for us and for the crowd, keeping people entertained. Overall, I was pretty happy with his services for the amount that we paid.

UPDATE-
Austin- I am more than disappointed that you have posted here that I have not paid in full. I have documentation that shows that you recieved the full contracted amount 2 weeks prior to the event. If you would like copies of the payment receipts I can provide them. I have not returned your repeated messages, as they were all regarding your dissatisfaction regarding my earlier feedback, and at no time did you ever mention a missing payment. Again we paid in full prior to the event via Venmo (your requested vendor) and can provide documentation of these payments.
