Best wedding/event band

We originally booked Attraction after several friends raved about seeing them at another wedding, and they turned out to be one of the best parts of our entire celebration. Working with Dave and the team was a breeze, but the real magic was how they handled the reception.

Beyond the music, Dave was a great resource for us leading up to the day. We were unsure about the timing and logistics of our first dance, and he went out of his way to send tips and resources that made us feel prepared and confident. On the night of, they served as fantastic emcees, moving the evening along naturally and prompting guests without it feeling scripted or over-the-top.

They have a massive musical range, but what we appreciated most was their ability to read the room. As a couple who can be a little shy about being the center of attention, we were impressed by how they drew us into the fun. They managed to get the party moving in a way that felt inclusive, and we still have guests—my dad especially—talking about how incredible the performance was. We’re so glad we were able to have them there and could not recommend them enough.

Searching for the perfect band can be a bit daunting as there are many so many options out there when working with an entertainment company.
I can make this easy for you, Attraction, should be your go-to!
The band is nothing short of amazing!
Dave Barton was terrific to work with and the band as a group is truly remarkable.
The process of hiring Attraction though Sam Hill Entertainment was seamless.
Prior to the event we had a Zoom call with Dave who listened attentively and offered suggestions, while also hearing our requests.
The 9-piece band had the room energized all night long. They led our guests to the most incredible time.
The play set was so outstanding that the dance floor was packed from the moment they started!
May I mention the horn!! Just WOW!
The band welcomed the request to learn a new song for the Bride and Groom’s first dance and simply owned it.
They were professional, kind, flexible, talented and all-around top-notch!

The BEST wedding band!

Attraction is the BEST! They absolutely crushed it on our wedding day. They really brought the energy and fun during the reception. Everyone kept commenting on how fantastic they were. The most fun wedding band!

Attraction was awesome! They were great to work with and the band was so talented. They listened to our song recommendations and other suggestions. They kept the dance floor going all night. They were a blast and I would highly recommend them.

Best Decision Ever!

We knew we wanted an awesome band for our wedding! After listening to many, we went with Attraction and let me tell you.... they were worth every penny! Dave was incredible to work with leading up to the event and even indulged us when we wanted to have the band play mostly Motown. The female singers were EPIC and the entire band brought the energy all night long. Our dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT! We had guests raving and even those that didn't dance said they felt they were "at a concert". Attraction is the best investment you'll make in your wedding/event. Don't miss out!

Incredible wedding day experience with Attraction!

We had our wedding this past May (2022) in Annapolis, Maryland and absolutely LOVED Attraction! When we booked, I was initially a little nervous because of not hearing them play live, but they were incredible. We appreciated being able to give input on genre/song choices and found their songlist to be quite comprehensive. We communicated a good amount with Dave Barton before our wedding day and he was very responsive and helpful! He was even kind enough to let me switch a first dance song and do a different one VERY close to the wedding and was generally very flexible and tried to accommodate our wishes. He also gave us helpful advice about using or not using the ceremony sound system. On the actual wedding day, the band was amazing. They did a great job with emceeing the event and communicating all the transitions throughout the evening (our wedding coordinator gave them a list of the transitions with times on it, and they followed the schedule perfectly) and the music was spot on. They played a great mix of genres and got everyone onto the dance floor and loving it! They interacted with our guests in such a fun way and it really felt like they were a part of our wedding experience. Our guests (of all ages) spoke very highly of the band and my friends are STILL telling me about how great the music was! We also used Attraction for ceremony and cocktail hour music. The ceremony music was well worth the extra expense. We didn't have to worry about anything beyond selecting songs from their list, and it was nice to be able to concentrate on the wedding day and trust that the music would be taken care of for all parts of the day. All members of the band were very respectful and friendly, not only to us but to all of our guests. They really gave it their all, both energy-wise as well as musically. They seemed extremely enthused about our wedding the whole time, which made it feel really special for us! We are so grateful to the members and managers of Attraction for making our wedding day so memorable and seamless! We are thrilled with our choice and how it all played out.

Amazing!!!!

Attraction is incredible!! When my wife and I set a date, Attraction was the first thing we booked based on the wonderful experience my brother had with them performing at his wedding, and once again they made the wedding! Working with Dave put us at ease and he helped us get our plans in order, it was like having a second wedding planner. And, above all else, the music was incredible and the dance floor was packed the whole night. We could not have asked for a better band and any couple that is lucky enough to book Attraction for their wedding will not be disappointed. As with my brother's wedding, people could not stop talking about how incredible the band was. Definitely book Attraction if you can, it will make your day!

Attraction

Attraction was a HUGE hit at our wedding!!!! We received so many compliments about the band from our guests. Everyone thought they sounded amazing and thoroughly enjoyed their performance and danced their heart out. Dave Barton, the band leader, was a joy to work with and was always willing to help answer any questions or talk with my mom and I...I can not say enough good things about this band. Best wedding band

All of our friends and family have said that this was one of the best, if not the best, wedding band they have ever heard. Dave and his team were also very accommodating, responsive, enthusiastic, and made everything we want happen as intended. Definitely strongly recommend them!

if you want your dance floor packed

HIRE ATTRACTION!! They were an absolute blast and our dance floor was packed all night. They are incredibly talented and cover a wide variety of genres that will keep guests of all ages on the dance floor. They were so fun and made my husband and I feel like rock stars. Our guests are still raving about our band and I wish we could party with them again. They were super easy to work with and accommodating as we had to reschedule due to COVID. Through their questionnaire they are somehow able to nail your playlist. Seriously look no further.

Attraction Made The Entire Night!

All I have to say is WOW. I cannot even begin to say how amazing Attraction was. They seriously made the entire night. I always knew how amazing they were because one of my friends had them for her wedding a few years back, and at that point, I knew that I had to have them for my wedding! They absolutely KILLED IT. They seriously made it the best night of my entire life. Because of Covid restrictions, we could only have 25 people, but their energy and talent made it feel like a larger event. I seriously cannot thank them enough for being so amazing to work with during all of the Coronavirus wedding planning craziness, and then bringing the house down at our wedding this past weekend. I am still in awe!! Everyone is obsessed with them! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Trust me, you need Attraction for your wedding or any other event.

Danced ALL night! 10/10 recommend

We worked with Attraction and had to change times/venues multiple times due to COVID. Attraction was flexible and professional throughout it all. Dave, the band leader, even came to our final details meeting at the venue (all the way to the Triangle, NC from Richmond) to check out the venue and make sure that we had all our details worked out - he really went above and beyond!

And the dance party was AMAZING. The band put up ropes so that we could remain 6 ft away from them. Our guests wore masks on the dance floor, and a lot of people stood off to the side to avoid the crowd, but that didn't limit the party at all. The energy from Attraction fueled our dance party all night! Every part of the band was fantastic - vocals, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums, keys, and more!

We are so grateful that Attraction helped us to safely celebrate with so much energy and oomph! I wish I could get married again, just to sign and dance the night away with Attraction again.

Life of the Party

Attraction really knows how to put on a show. Very high energy, incredible setlist and surreal performance. Communication w/ Dave was great, who was able to learn a few songs and nailed our first dance song. Would highly recommend the band to any couple looking for a great time. The band played a great mix of classic Motown/funk to modern songs and had numerous singers for each song performed. They killed it!

LOVED Attraction!!

Our wedding reception would not have been the same without Attraction! The band was so much fun and kept our guests dancing ALL night. They learned one of mine and my husbands favorite songs and let us come on stage for it! They were engaging throughout the whole evening and everyone had a blast!!!

Bridgham-werman wedding at pippin hill

We saw Attraction for the first time at a friend's wedding. We knew that they would be the band for ours. Dave Barton was so great to work with. They played Maybe I'm Amazed, a Dave Grohl and Nora Jones version that we changed the female lyrics to, and the band came through. It was the first dance and extremely special. They allowed me to play Everlong by the Foo Fighters to my bride too. My family and friends could not say enough good things! The set list was amazing, the floor was packed all night, the energy was so high and it was the best wedding ever. So much fun! If you need a band for a wedding, Attraction is the one to book!

Awesome band if you want to party!

Outside of the venue, a good wedding band was our second priority and after significant research, we decided to go with the Attraction Band and it was the best decision we made! Dave, the band leader, was very responsive and kept in regular contact before, during, and after our wedding to make sure we were happy and that everything went well. The night of our wedding, the Attraction Band killed it and everyone was on the dance floor having a good time. We highly recommend Attraction Band!!!

Best wedding band - hands down!

There are not enough positive things I can say about this band. I scoured the internet, Instagram, Facebook, The Knot, Wedding Wire, you name it...to find the ultimate band. I wanted a band that can sing it all - they can. Not only can they sing it all - they sing it all incredibly well. Our guests absolutely raved about them and my dad (a harsh critic) said it was the best decision I made for our wedding day - aside from choosing my husband, of course!

Not only that, the majority of my friends and family traveled from big cities...Boston, New York, Los Angeles and more. ALL of them agreed...this was the best wedding band they'd ever heard and that says A LOT! Of course, especially when they are coming from major cities with all the bands in the world to choose from.

"Attraction" is incredible easy to work with. Dave...the band manager...is not only talented, but he knows exactly what brides need. I even met with them ahead of time to practice a song that I decided to sing for my husband on our wedding day. They worked with me, they gave the song everything they had and I appreciate it more than they know.

This band sings it all, they get the crowd up and dancing and they know how to keep the party going. Our only regret is that we couldn't dance to them all night long - seriously. Also, besides dancing... my friends who are future brides, all walked away with their business card. They are incredible!

Best Decision

Working with Attraction was one of the very best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Their professionalism from the very beginning made them such a joy to work with. They were accommodating and responsive. On the night of our wedding, they brought life to the dance floor. From the second the dance floor opened, Attraction kept the party going until the very last song. We got so many comments from our guests about how great the band/music was and we truly felt like it made our night so special and memorable. Incredible

The best wedding band I could have imagined. So much fun and professional. Almost every guest commented on how great they were and that they’ve never seen a wedding with so many people dancing! Made our wedding a party

When planning our wedding we wanted it to not just be a typical affair but we instead wanted an all-out dance party. A champagne-soaked, sweaty, raucous good time. Attraction delivered big time. With a very small wedding of 78, each and every one of Attraction's 9 band members interacted with our friends and family. They involved everyone, from my nephews singing on the microphone to having my sister play the tambourine, they kept our night very high energy. With such a small wedding it very easily could have gone the other way but they ensured that wasn't the case. The sister with the tambourine? She flew home with a tambourine-related injury as she had so much fun she bruised her hand. The nephew with the microphone? He fell asleep that night in the hat the band gave him and has rarely taken it off since. And 8 months later, when I asked the band if they could record a video for said nephews birthday, they gladly agreed and made his day. He feels famous and I feel like the world's greatest aunt. Thank you, Attraction, for making our dance-party wedding wishes come true and for being all around great people.

Attraction was amazing!

Attraction was the band at my wedding on September 23, 2018. There were incredible! They have different members of the band come on to the dance floor and keep the party going! They sing a variety of different genres of music, so I think all the guests really enjoyed them. Working with Dave and coordinating different details went really smooth. We Were Blown Away by Attraction Band

We were so pleased with Attraction Band's performance at our wedding in September. Their genuine enthusiasm and high energy level created an awesome party environment, and kept our guests dancing for the entire night.

We were also very impressed with the band's poise and professionalism. They had a strong stage presence while simultaneously keeping our guests engaged with great music for all three of the sets they played.

We had several guests tell us Attraction Band was the best band they've ever heard at a wedding. The combination of two male and two female vocalists enabled them to play a very diverse set list, covering tons of classics and new hits.

They also were very strong communicators before the wedding, in regard to meals, set up time, etc. and also around timing for our first dance songs. It made the planning process very easy on our end.

ATTRACTION IS THE BEST WEDDING BAND, PERIOD!! Two of my bridesmaids had them at their weddings, so when my husband and I got engaged, this was an absolute no brainer - once we picked the date, I reached out to Sam Hill Entertainment to see if Attraction was available.
We had a large wedding - around 240 people - and so much going on (hookah bar outside by the fireplace, a Persian DJ to play during band breaks, a tasting room that was separate where many guests were hanging out by the fire). Attraction made sure that the people who were in the ballroom were on the dance floor - they played the best music, had phenomenal energy, came out on the dance floor, etc. They even pulled me up on stage to have me help "sing" (ha) one of the songs I had previously requested. They also obliged a few of my requests to customize some songs, and did everything seamlessly. Do yourself a favor and hire Attraction - you won't regret it!! Oh - and get the two additional horns to make a full ten piece band!!

Attraction is absolutely the best wedding band I have ever heard! We are so fortunate that they played at our daughter's wedding. Dave and the rest of the band are so fun, talented, energetic, friendly, and engaging that our guests just raved about them during and after the wedding. They played a great variety of songs from every decade so there was something for everyone. I highly recommend them for any special event. OMG, where do I start. Attraction was the BEST money we spent for our entire wedding. They were incredible. First of all, Dave (band leader) amazing to work with. Responsive, professional and so kind/down to earth. They learned several songs specifically for our wedding which was above and beyond. The energy was crazy. They truly made the party. My wedding guests were having such a good time after they played the last song everyone started chanting "encore, encore, encore". What wedding have you ever been to where there was an ENCORE!?? We had one. Since the wedding I've had countless folks tell me that they felt like they were at a concert and it was the best/most fun wedding they had ever been to. Although the ceremony was beautiful, I know it's because ATTRACTION brought the party!!! Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a band. Attraction was worth every single penny and so much more. We also had music for the ceremony (guitar and trumpet duo) and cocktail hour (pianist). They did a great job for the ceremony (which was outside)- it was something special for sure. I didn't hear the pianist during cocktail hour b/c we were taking pictures but I heard it was beautiful.

To get right to the point: I highly recommend ATTRACTION. If they are within your budget, look no further. They are talented musicians, play a wide range of genres, and put on an impressive performance. Literally, from the beginning to end of their performance, the dance floor was packed. I’ve never seen any other wedding band command such an audience.

Leading up to the event, we worked closely with band leader, Dave Barton. We coordinated with him directly on arrivals, schedules, meals, etc, and most importantly set lists. We provided some song requests to incorporate in their show, and they filled out the rest in a perfectly curated set list to please all guests ranging from ages 8 to 80.

The reception was held at a tent in a cow pasture at a family farm. This required significant flexibility on the band’s part as it related to pre-performance accommodations and scheduling. Throughout the day, not just the performance, they were professional, courteous, fun, jovial, charming, and brought the perfect energy to make our wedding special.

Our scheduling wasn't traditional: we requested they limit playing through dinner, and instead save up for the latter half of the evening. We budgeted in breaks but with dinner service extending longer than expected, the band rolled with it and played through the entire night without taking any breaks.

Attraction was incredible! Great look and sound - kept my wedding guests dancing all night and everyone was raving about their talent. Dave worked with me to learn a song for my father/ daughter dance and was extremely responsive via email. I can't speak highly enough about Attraction!!

Attraction was fantastic! All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night and many of them came up to us the night of our wedding and even weeks later talking about how great the band was. Amazing!! We got married on New Years Eve so expectations were high but Attraction exceeded all expectations. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and we have received so many compliments about the band. Would highly recommend!!

My fiancé and I knew that we wanted to have a live band, but never imagined the tremendous impact it would have on the reception atmosphere. Dave was a gem to work with and made the entire process very easy. He was incredibly accommodating for all of our requests leading up to the wedding, and during the event, itself.

The band is AMAZING, such wonderful singers, phenomenal entertainers, and great people to be around. The music selection appealed across generations and had our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Our guests had an absolute blast and continue to rave about Dave and Attraction, even a few weeks removed from the event. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking to create a fun, dance-friendly environment at their reception. They exceeded our expectations.

This group has some incredibly talented vocalists. Holy smokes.
We heard them rehearsing before our reception started (we were taking some photos there), and got SO excited, because even just warming up, they were spectacular.
They blew us away! We had watched their promo video online and were very impressed, but that's nothing compared to how they were in person.
They did a wonderful job of picking up on the vibe of the party and keeping it going. They brought so much energy, and really turned our reception into a dance party. They engagde the crowd- it was almost like being a concert at our own wedding!
They also did music at our cocktail hour which was more instrumental and extremely classy.
They're performers, but everyone was so nice! We were bumping into them before the reception started and they were all so sweet.
My advice: check out their video, and then book! It's evident how talented they are, but they will exceed expectations.

This is a great band on its own but there are a few things that make it worthy of 5 stars.
- Range: they can play songs from the '20s or the 2000s
- Male/female vocals: great male and female vocals enables them to do just about anything
- Attention to detail: Talk to Dave about your expectations for songs, the vibe, etc and he'll make it happen
- Interaction: They do just the right amount of interaction with the crowd. The dance floor was never empty and my bride got to do a little singing as well (again just the right amount).

Final note: I can't count how many compliments I got on the band (which was my one major contribution) so if you enjoy compliments and a hell of a dance party then book Attraction.

Bandleader Dave Barton is easy to approach, and flexible. He and his band really put on a great show, and they want you to have the best night ever! My only advice is to not let the toasts go on too long so as to not cut into their time on stage, because they are truly professional and awesome.

We so appreciate the effort that Dave and Attraction put forth at our wedding Saturday. They were awesome, just amazing - everyone had a blast and was so impressed with the band!! I would recommend Attraction to anyone and for nearly any event - their song list was diverse and they excelled in every genre.

They were so accommodating, nailed the songs we asked them to learn which were important to us on short notice and kept the dance floor going all night long. It couldn't have been better!!!

Attraction really made our night so special and such a fun celebration with friends and family.

This band was awesome! They played the background music while our friend sang our first dance (she's not in the band), and Attraction was high-energy throughout. They catered to the kids in attendance and I don't think the dance floor was ever empty.

And in case you're wondering, they invite the crowd to participate. Think of it as the best karaoke that you'll ever have.

I highly recommend using them!

I had so many people come up to me and say that Attraction was the best wedding band they ever heard - and I couldn't agree more! The cooperation, patience, personal attention, flexibility, and assistance were greatly appreciated.
We had potential weather problems, and the Band fully cooperated and worked with us. We had to make a last minute decision as to outdoor, or on the Veranda, and they helped relieve our stress by assuring us they would do whatever necessary and make it work, and they did!
They assisted us with their sound system to help us make our announcements and our wedding welcome and toasts so all could hear.
The music was amazing and Attraction had everyone up on the dance floor the entire evening!
They can play just about everything, and they respected the wishes of the Bride and Groom as to what they did not want to hear, but otherwise were free to play what they played best, and what the crowd responded to.
They are not only great musicians, but they are also great performance artists!
The band feeds off the energy of the people and no one wanted the music to stop and the night to end!
A very positive experience and a professional service we highly recommend.

We hired Attraction through Sam Hill Entertainment for our wedding in Savannah, GA. They were AMAZING! The best wedding band I have ever heard. Such professional musicians and so easy to work with. They played all the right music and kept the party going strong all night long. They even let my husband and I sing along - and made us sound pretty good! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at our wedding was dancing and having a blast. No cheese, just great songs all night long. If you want an amazing band that will have everyone on the dance floor AND will impress you musician friends, this is the band for you!

My husband and I loved working with Attraction and more specifically Dave Barton. He was easy to work with and very accommodating to our requests for our wedding. The best part about Attraction was we literally danced the entire night as did all of our wedding guests. They had a great selection of music that wowed everyone from Motown to the current hits. Attraction was great, they were willing to learn our first dance song, the last song of the night We're Going Home By- Drake and played the songs we chose off of their playlist. They also played our iPod of the songs we chose on their breaks throughout the night. The band did a great job of introducing/making announcement and overall keeping the reception running smoothly. Last but not least, they kept the dance floor packed, they were energetic, and involved with our guests, they really kept everyone in the moment of the celebration!! They met all of our expectations and more.

We wanted our wedding to be a mega dance party and this band made it happen! Everyone danced all night and my grandmothers were breaking it down in the middle of the dance floor. One said she hadn't danced like that in ten years since my grandfather passed away!

From the beginning, the communication was exceptional. As our wedding neared, Dave Barton contacted me directly and we chatted for an hour about what I expected, requests for birthday announcements, had to play list and tons of other things. He can offer great advice for anyone nervous about first dances. Just an overall great professional and fun guy!

The entire band blew my guests away. I've had several guests tell me they had never heard/experienced anything like it. People want to hire them from all over. We brought them from VA to GA. They love to travel!!

I am a wedding photographer and have obviously been to many many weddings. Of course I am partial to my own but ATTRACTION was really such an amazing decision that we still rave about months later! My husband is such a music lover and this was a big decision! I have never heard a band this good at a wedding. The added horns section was the bomb!! All singers had amazing voices, dance moves and stage presence. Tasteful and charismatic!!

They know how to get a party started and when it's time to kick it up a notch. One of my favorite things is that besides a couple of must play songs and some information on what we definitely did not want to hear, Dave and the band had free reign of song choices! It really makes for a stress free wedding. No one is saying "I didn't hear that song..." or "I missed this song.." They are so professional that they just keep the night going.

I could go on forever and ever about them but just seriously don't search anymore! They are killer!

Attraction is THE BEST wedding band in the RVA! We had the BEST wedding reception ever and had so many people tell us that it was the best reception they had EVER been to in their life! I am sure they will receive several bookings from my wedding guests in the future. They play a great variety of music and keep the party dancing the entire time! We had been to several weddings that fell short in the music and dancing category, and we knew from the very beginning of our wedding planning process that hiring a great band was our top priority. We hate when a great group of guests who are supposed to be happy and celebrating and letting loose just hang around the bar or their dinner tables, and an empty dance floor was not an option for our wedding. We wanted all of our guests, not just the young ones and not just the old-timers, to have FUN, and we wanted the momentum of the celebration to last throughout our entire reception. Hiring Attraction (formerly BS&M) was the single BEST decision we made in planning our wedding!! This band delivered in every respect!!

The 9 piece band was high-energy from the very start of our reception! Their song list is incredibly extensive, and we had a great time combing through Attracion's long list to send them our "must-have" and "do-not play" songs about 4 weeks before our wedding. We requested a few songs that were not on their list, and they obliged without hesitation. They even played very current songs that you may not expect a wedding band to have learned already, and Attraction's singers sound exactly like the artists who sing the original songs!

Dave Barton, the band's manager, was a real PLEASURE to deal with throughout the wedding planning process. His responses to our messages/requests were timely, he and the band were very flexible with last minute itinerary changes for the course of the evening, and we were very touched by his constant enthusiasm about our wedding.

When we say that Attraction made our wedding everything we wanted it to be, this is no exaggeration. Our moms, our dads, elderly guests, those guests who "never dance at weddings" and, of course, our younger set of 30-something friends were dancing up a storm during our entire reception! We many guests doing the craziest dance moves and were stunned by what Attraction was able to draw out from our group!! Take a look at some of the photos on our profile - the dance moves say it all. Everyone RAVED that ours was the best wedding band they had ever heard! Attraction is worth every penny and we could not recommend this band enough. They will make your celebration unforgettable!!

My only regret is that I did not reach out sooner to the band to give them more suggestions on things we did or did not want to hear. But they were fantastic, even with the limited feedback we gave in advance. The crowd was engaged, the party was totally energized and I look forward to hiring these guys again for a party soon. We had Attraction at our wedding and could not have been happier with the show they delivered. Dave Barton, the band leader, was professional and easy to work with. I supplied a song list in advance and many of the songs were played. The band learned a song for us which was our first dance song and it sounded fantastic. The band was high energy, read the crowd well and the dance floor was packed all night. Would highly recommend them!

BS&M band was incredible - people still talk to us about how great they were 5 months after our wedding. The dance floor was packed and they were great at reading the crowd and keeping the party going. Highly recommend them!

I'm feeling guilty about all the glowing reviews but the band, BS & M was a hit! The dance floor was packed with 20 somethings to 50 somethings. BS& M followed the suggested playlist, added other great music and was incredibly energetic all night long. We would hire them for any occasion as they were able to play a wide variety of music. We worked with Andy Jasper at Sam Hill Entertainment to secure BS & M. He was very prompt in replying to our questions. He recommended BS & M to the newlyweds. Great Combo, BS&M and Sam Hill Entertainment.

BS&M was honestly a highlight of our wedding. The guests, across all generations, truly enjoyed their playlist. Their energy on stage was contagious, and kept the night going and the guests dancing!

Dave Barton was always easy to get in touch with, and accommodating of our special requests. Their playlist is extensive, but they are always willing to learn something new (free of charge) should they have enough advance time.

The group requires little break time (understanding that the music is key for keeping the party going) and was nothing but professional. I recommend them for any event. They will impress!

Kept the crowd on the dance floor all night! We had such fun with them, and they learned the three songs we asked them to learn very well. Highly recommended!

Can you book this band? You should!
We found out about them through Andy at Sam Hill Entertainment. He knew they were good, and he was right! They were terrific! I was not sure if people would dance and the only thing I regret is not getting a bigger dance floor. Our guests loved them and they were worth every penny! They are a big band, 8 or 9 people, with a great lead singer, Dave Barton. Really really responsive from the beginning. They played the songs we requested, they got involved with our guests. I wish I was getting married again just so I could use them!!

We didn’t leave the dance floor all night!

Attraction was the best band we could have possibly imagined for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly professional and very accommodating - we had a bit of an unusual space set up and they had a completely can do attitude and made it work. They also learned a few special songs for us and were so flexible with our requests. The night of the wedding, we had so much fun and with them - they brought so much entertainment and energy to our dance floor. They were also engaging - coming into the crowd to sing and dance - and had my husband and I come on stage to sing with them. And so talented - every song they played was better than the last. I didn’t leave the dance floor. Highly recommend!

Our guests were dancing all night!

Attraction is a GREAT wedding band and our guests had a lot of fun at our reception. Dave Barton (the band leader) was VERY kind and easy to work with as there were more musical decisions to make than I had realized. Attraction expertly faded out our first dance songs and learned “If I had a Million Dollars” by the Barenaked Ladies as a special dance during our reception. They let my Dad and I on stage with them and that is a memory that will last for the rest of my life!

Wonderful experience during a stressful year

Attraction was everything we hoped for and more - especially considering the stressful of planning an event during a pandemic! They played great music and stayed upbeat the entire time. We have received so many compliments about them! We would highly recommend Attraction and working with Sam Hill entertainment!

We used Attraction for our daughters wedding last weekend. They were wonderful! We have had so many of our guests comment on how great the band was and how much fun they had. Dave Barton was great to work with. He was so helpful w/ song selections and helped to make the whole reception flow smoothly. The band members were great too. So talented and fun!! We have 2 more daughters and will definitely consider using Attraction again when the time comes for their weddings!

The band was fabulous even though a little higher in cost than we wanted to spend it ended up being worth it. They were flexible, on time, responsive and a blast! My wedding guests keep talking about how they were the best band. They were energetic, interacted with the crowd and kept the party going.

Attraction was AMAZING! The dance floor was packed and I loved how lively and fun they were. One of the lead singers did a Stevie Wonder performance that was uncanny and super entertaining! They played a great mix of genres of music. The only reason I dropped a couple points off is because they took an extra long break at the start of the night (we chose to have their one big break be at the beginning during dinner - supposed to be 45 min to 1 hr long) and my mom had to tell the band leader to start. Overall, excellent communication leading up to the wedding date with the band leader when sending a song lists and first dance songs, etc. and SUCH A FUN AND TALENTED band!! We also had this same band for my older sister's band, and one of my best friends had them too! Obviously they are doing it right! :) Highly recommend Attraction for weddings!

It's a big show band, so this may not be the group for your small gathering, but is definitely worth it for a larger group. They'll play tunes from Motown to fresh off the radio so multiple generations of folks will have music to enjoy.
