Eric and his team are absolutely amazing. He was eager to hop on a call with us and discuss what we were looking for so we could go into wedding day at ease. Day of he handled everything so smoothly and professionally. Everything we asked for was executed flawlessly and his attention to detail was top notch. He appropriately checked in when needed but was able to manage the flow on his own based on our online portal and previous discussion. People never left the dance floor! His transitions and judgment on what to play and when were flawless. I truly could not have asked for anyone better to be there on our big day and to help us have the party of our dreams. I cannot recommend him and his team enough!

Better than I could have imagined.
Atlantic Premier Entertainment is so much more than just a company providing DJ services. Thanks to Eric and his team, my wedding vision was brought to life. I want to start off by saying that he was always very kind, and easy to get ahold of with questions, concerns, or to discuss needs. A member of his team worked for hours placing hundreds of lights perfectly throughout my mother-in-laws barn and made the space look better than I could have ever imagined. The night before the wedding, there was an issue with how the tent was looking (not provided by this company); my planner touched base with Eric about it and he completely turned things around and found a solution that made the tent look better than I could have imagined. Like I said, they’re more than just DJ services or even entertainment. Going with this company means having someone on your side to help make all your day of dreams come true. I’m so glad I was able to meet and have Eric on my vendor list for my wedding. I can’t thank him and his team enough! Don’t miss out on booking with them!!

We had a wonderful experience with Atlantic Premier for our wedding! Eric was our DJ, and he provided the music for both our ceremony and our reception. Atlantic Premier Entertainment provided us with reasonably priced, exceptional DJ services for our special day! Our assigned DJ was Chris, and he was more than accommodating to us to make our reception easy and fun. Our calls leading up to the wedding were clear, concise, and very easy to schedule. We would go over the planning form together and make sure everything was correct and that Chris understood what we were looking for. Speaking of the planning form, the form made it incredibly easy to ensure songs, timing, names of people, etc were what we wanted. In all, Chris and the owner, Eric, helped to make our wedding reception so incredibly perfect and within our budget. Would highly recommend!! :)

The team at Atlantic Premier was awesome! The communication from Eric, the Owner, from initial inquiry to wedding day was excellent. He was available for a timely initial meeting, where we discussed the vision and needs for our wedding. He was also consistently available and responsive for follow up questions. Package/individual item pricing was clear and consistent from the start. Eric sent periodic reminders as the wedding day approached which helped us stay on track with other planning details.
When the event got closer, we were connected with Marcus, the best DJ!! We communicated directly with Marcus leading up to wedding. He was a lively and entertaining host for the evening, making sure every detail was thought through and expectations were clear. He kept the ceremony and reception on schedule, and his music was directly in line with what we had discussed. He brought great energy to the dance floor all night long!

We had the best experience with Atlantic Premier Entertainment. They set the tone the whole night. It was good vibes all around. Atlantic Premier Entertainment was a great choice for my daughter's wedding. We had attended many events that used this company as a dj and there was no question that we would not also use Atlantic Premier Entertainment for her wedding as well. Marcus was the dj and did an excellent job. Eric installed ceiling lighting and other lighting which was more beautiful than we had imagined. They have lots of reasonably priced add ons to their dj services. They were prompt and very professional with the set up of the entertainment. I would definitely recommend this company

John Fedde: Remarkable Entertainer
We were blown away by the experience of working with John Fedde. Our wedding was at the Isles Beach Club in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. From responding immediately to any questions we had, working around our busy schedules, maintaining the energy of the party, and curating an unbelievable playlist, John is a MUST HAVE at your wedding. We got so lucky to get paired up with him. From Kentucky, he instantly felt like family among our West Virginia/Ohio Midwest relatives. I provided him with playlists, and he thought of EVERYTHING. He was professional through the planning, but he really amazed us on wedding day. From officiant clip-on microphone, handheld microphone for readings, best men speeches, etc., John was ready and always felt like he’d anticipated what I needed before I even asked. This was not easy for a beach wedding, and John was excellent at everything. I provided him a general playlist of songs on Spotify, and he worked with me to provide suggestions. I really felt comfortable with his decisions and trusted him to put together a truly phenomenal grouping of songs. His timing was perfect, and we had guests running onto the dance floor to a favorite song. He really kept all ages in mind. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and I am continuing to hear from my guests just raving about how much they enjoyed dancing to John’s music. To our military friends, John is for you. To any of our gay friends concerned about finding LGBT-friendly vendors, I would be the first to recommend Atlantic Premier Entertainment. John just treated us like family, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening. One of the best decisions we made was going with him!

Atlantic Premier Entertainment Helped Make Our Wedding Day Perfect
Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful and a big part of that is thanks to Marcus and Atlantic Premier Entertainment! Many of our guests commented on how they loved the music and how it was at the perfect volume level at the right times. We had a blast dancing the rest of the night away and Marcus’ choices mixed in perfectly with the other song requests I had made. He contributed to the fun atmosphere of the night in a big way. We are also very grateful for the microphones that he provided for the ceremony and the speeches.
Kris also did an excellent job with the Photo Booth. Our guests had a lot of fun with the props and the process of sending the pictures digitally was very straightforward and easy. Overall I would highly recommend Atlantic Premier Entertainment to anyone else I know having an event. I am very impressed with the level of professionalism and how easy it was to set up everything just right for our event.

Hands down the greatest DJ we could have asked for. I’m so thankful we had John Fedde at our wedding. He absolutely knocked it out of park with the music and lights. Everyone was on the dance floor having a great time, and he also made planning a breeze. But what really meant most to us was how accommodating he was all night. John checked on us more than our own coordinator. He even gave me a blanket from his car because the weather wasn’t the best. We’re so thankful we had him at our wedding and will probably always remember how amazing he was.

The Best DJ
Eric was the DJ for my February wedding and he did an amazing job! He had great energy and added hilarious commentary when necessary. Amazing Service!
I really appreciated the planning process and the flexibility we had when changing some of our plans
The ceremony music was perfect. All of the requested songs were exactly as asked. Marcus worked with our musician to make sure everything was covered. We had a blast during the reception. The dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time. We loved the Photobooth too! So many people grabbed the bride and groom or grandparents and made fun pictures. Kris was a great Photobooth host. I can’t wait to see all of the pictures! The bubble exit was amazing and so different. We had such a great experience and would recommend them 100%!

AMAZING I can’t believe how good he was
Marcus was amazing from our intro phone call to the night of the wedding. He was attentive and personable and wanted to make sure he got every detail exactly how we wanted it down to the most minute details. He felt the crowd and played music to match the mood without us even asking. Amazing. Can’t say enough good things!

The Absolute Best!! The “A” Team!!!
From our vows to our last song, we were throughly impressed. Everyone danced all night long! Eric was super attentive and played anything anyone wanted! From a little girl asking for a conga line, to my favorite country song, “Dirt on my boots!” Disco was our #1 go to and he kept the dance floor going! Highly recommend them!

Destination Wedding
We had a destination wedding in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. We had John as our DJ and lighting. He was AWESOME! the vibe we were trying to set at the beach wedding was spot on with all of his music. The only feedback is the bridal party introductions were a bit rushed, we were hoping to have our intro songs played longer as we walked around the pool for everyone to see us. He also rushed the cake cutting/first dance transition. Other than that everything turned out great. The Photobooth was a hit and a fun activity for guests.

Our April Wedding
We had John DJ our Wedding this past April and he did an amazing job! He was extremely easy to work with, he had us share our Spotify playlist with him and played songs similar to what we liked. He even called to check in a few days before to review the names of everyone in the bridal party. He took great care of us and kept everyone dancing all night long! Would definitely use John again!

From the get go, Justin from Atlantic Premier Entertainment was wonderful and delivered such an amazing DJ experience for our wedding. He was extremely responsive from the start and made sure our needs and concerns were addressed in a timely fashioned. He delivered on my intensive ceremony music requests and did not skip a beat for our reception. I have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding the WHOLE entire evening. I still have wedding guest commenting about how much fun the wedding was and that was thanks to Justin and his awesome MCing and DJing. 10/10 would recommend Justin!

Best DJs in Wilmington
We hired Eric and his team for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! He made the entire process stress free and simple. On our big day, he and his team were prompt and had everything we requested ready for us. He was an awesome DJ and his team were a lot of fun to work with. Atlantic Premier Entertainment is the way to go! They are also one of the very few companies that has backup DJs that are set up and ready to go so that no matter what happens, you event will go flawlessly!
On a side note, we highly recommend getting the photo booth and the sparkler show. They made for some good laughs and awesome pictures!

When we booked our venue they told us that we can only use one DJ due to the location (it was a beach house and Eric knows all the restrictions for noise). That made our job of picking someone super easy and everything we heard about him was great. Our phone call before the wedding was great and we felt super comfortable going into the day. Also the way you can upload songs is so easy!! The wedding day was perfect!! You could hear the vows during the beach ceremony which I was a little worried about the wind, cocktail hour was perfect, and the reception was even better! He did such a good job of making the night go so smoothly. My husband and I also did a private dance and he provided us with our own speaker so it was different than what was happening on the dance floor. Thanks Eric!!!

Exceeded expectations!
My wife and I got married this past October and used Atlantic Premier Entertainment. I found them via wedding wire as well as a recommendation via the hotel. They were the first company I called and the last. I spoke to Eric the owner and he was very personable and responsive. Unfortunately but fortunately Eric was booked the date of our wedding and based on other wedding wire reviews, we chose John to be our DJ. Between John reaching out and the planning tools on the website, it was very easy to plan what we wanted. We opted for up-lighting which looked amazing and is highly recommended. John kept the music going with a mix of our songs and ones he selected based on our music tastes and did a phenomenal job. I went with my gut choosing Atlantic Premier Entertainment and I am glad I did, they did a phenomenal job!

Eric and Atlantic Premier Entertainment simply made our wedding into what it was. We booked Eric a year out, and from day one he provided us tools to plan our wedding. We were able to do everything on the online planning portal, and Eric was always a text or an email away if we had any questions. Atlantic Premier Entertainment did not disappoint! Eric and his crew were amazing at our beach wedding. We did not give him a lot of guidance outside of the processional and recessional as far as music to play. We told him our tastes and he just rolled with it. They kept everyone dancing all night long. Eric was super flexible and if you need it, they have a great planner on their website portal to help you. We have nothing but great things to say about this team and would highly recommend them!

Everything we could have hoped for!
Eric and his team were everything we could have hoped for to DJ our special day. They were so kind, helpful, funny, and made our wedding day go as smoothly as possible. Eric DJ’ed a few of my cousins and friends weddings which is what brought me to him. From the very beginning when I decided to contract with Eric, he was very attentive to our every DJ want and need. Then, our wedding date changed (my husband is in the military and something came up!), and he easily accommodated.
Our wedding and reception were two events essentially - and he maneuvered them both without any problems!
Also, when he would get the people hype but they weren’t hype enough, he would restart the whole presentation to get everyone in the partying mood! He was the best DJ I could have ever asked for and I HIGHLY recommend!!!

Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Originally scheduled for November 2020 and then rescheduled to March 6th, 2021. Eric went above and beyond in every aspect! He is super responsive, easy to work with, and one of the most down to earth people you’ve ever met! We also used the smoke bubbles for our exit, and the photo booth through Atlantic. Both have made for some awesome pictures and memories already. If I had to do it over again I would choose Eric a million times!

Eric and Justin did such an awesome job. Even with COVID going on he got everyone up to dance and have fun! Eric was very flexible throughout the whole process. The only songs we requested was our first dance song/father daughter song/ mother son dance and told him to do his thing from there! He played just the right songs! Just trust him! Absolutely amazing!
When we first met with Eric we knew we wanted to have him be a part of our special day, we knew his bubbly, happy personality would fit in great with our guests. He was always super quick to answer all of my many questions. Just a few days before the wedding we had to cancel our big reception due to covid related circumstances, and Eric rolled with the punches. He was there for our beach ceremony and then set up for a small, casual outdoor reception. We had no schedule and no plans and he kept things moving for the short time we were all able to gather. When he played the last song our guests were so sad, EVERYONE loved him. He did a great job. When it is safer to have a bigger indoor reception we will definitely be using Eric again!

Eric was a FANTASTIC DJ for our wedding! (We actually met him when he was the DJ at one of our friend’s wedding - where he also did an amazing job!) Our wedding was in September of 2020, right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Eric was incredibly responsive to all of our emails about changes to our venue’s rules and always had multiple backup plans, just in case things had to change again at the last minute. Eric was excited and more than willing to help me put together a “mashup” of 2 different songs for my Mother/Son dance (which was a blast for everyone to see). From his music selection during the reception, to his attentiveness to whatever my wife and I needed throughout the entire day, Eric was where we needed him when we needed him. I cannot express how highly I recommend Atlantic Premier Entertainment for ANY wedding! They are incredibly professional, they pay attention to every detail, and they are worth every penny! We didn’t want the night to end... I can guarantee that you will have the most fun night of your life if you use them as your wedding DJ!

Eric is truly the best. Not only as a DJ (and he is an amazing DJ) but also a human being. He was in constant contact and wanted to make sure everything went exactly how I imagined and he did a fantastic job. All of my guests had a great time and are still talking about how great he was. I cannot thank him enough for everything he did. We also used his snow machine for our exit and it was the best decision I made. The pictures turned out amazing and yet again my guests loved it. Such a cool and unique experience I have not yet seen before. We also took advantage of his new photo booth and this was another great opportunity for me and my husband as well as my guests. Easy to communicate with, very flexible, and accommodating!
We planned a wedding in our home state of NC all the way from PA. I researched and interviewed a few in the area and found that Atlantic Premier had an easy way to chat with them. I sent them interview questions and found that Eric was so easy to communicate with and answered my questions right away and with detail. I loved that! I also thought they had competitive pricing. Our wedding was at the Overlook in North Topsail on 11/15/19 and the week of we found out John would be our DJ. He called us and we had a pretty long conversation going through what we wanted to happen in the reception. It was very easy going discussing with him our vision and our most important things that we were looking for in the reception and the music and how we wanted the guests to be like. I am a control freak so I had a set itinerary with time slots for what we planned but he was so good at helping us making it better with the right flow and all that. Well, nothing goes as planned and John was really good at anticipating what to change up throughout the reception and kept Raf and I informed. Honestly he was really amazing. He was easy to work with, easy to communicate with, so flexible, very accommodating, easily adjusts, can hold an umbrella for the couple as they secretly walk to the top floor outside, can even help get the cake cutting started for the couple, and is an amazing DJ. Loved the music selection. Everyone was always dancing! till the end! Thanks John!

Absolutely Wonderful!
Eric Thompson was amazing to work with! He was super responsive, and was so flexible and accommodating with our song choices! We made last minute changes right up to the very final moments before the ceremony! Our guests found him very entertaining and we just loved having him! With wedding planning it can become very stressful, however I didn't need to stress at all when it came to choosing Atlantic Premiere as our DJ. Eric made it stress-free and fun. So glad we chose him to be part of our big day!

Best Night Ever!
I could not have asked for a better night! From set up to tare down everything went so smooth. We got married on the beach and the music and sound was perfect! Our officiant loved having a wireless mic and John even captured some good photos for us. Halfway through the reception it started raining and he kept the music going while moving his equipment so it didn’t get wet. I can’t thank John and Laura enough for helping us make our wedding amazing!

Beach Wedding
Eric was absolutely amazing! We had our wedding ceremony on the beach. Eric had everything set up perfectly. Music was able to be heard, and you could even hear our officiant and our vows to each other with no wind in the background. The reception couldn't of been topped! There was never a moment where people were not on the dance floor. Eric kept the party going, and was even able to play some African music requested by my husband's side of the family. The entire process was great. Eric responded quickly to my emails and any questions that I had. He even went above and beyond and sent me pictures of a wedding at my venue a few weeks prior he was at to give me an idea of the set up. I would recommend this company to everyone!

Amazing DJ!

We absolutely LOVED working with Eric from Atlantic Premier Entertainment!! Eric was beyond kind and accommodating when helping us plan for our big day! He was so genuinely happy and excited for us and our wedding, it made planning even more fun! We got married one week after Hurricane Florence hit Wilmington and the genuine excitement that Eric shared with us when we decided to move forward with our wedding was so incredibly touching.
I cannot express how much fun our family and friends had!!!! Even the staff at our venue had a blast with him (he played for and entertained the staff while they got ready and again while they cleaned up- how awesome is that?!?!). The dance floor was packed the entire night and Eric kept the fun going without hesitation. People are still raving about how much fun Eric made our special night! I would absolutely recommend Eric and Atlantic Premier Entertainment to anyone looking for a fun wedding reception! Thanks again for everything!!!

Atlantic Premier Entertainment is the best DJ service in Wilmington! They are located right on the water downtown so after we met with him we enjoyed the opportunity for a scenic date night. They did our wedding and went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we had the experience we were looking for. We enjoy a variety of music and they helped us find the best songs to compliment our taste. The guests loved them! Could not recommend highly enough!!

Adam was amazing! Everything went smoothly and he made sure to check in periodically during the reception to make sure we were happy with the flow of the night. Eric was very attentive leading up the date and made sure everything was how I wanted it. He has an online portal that was very helpful! It allows you to pay online, choose songs that you want/don’t want and set up the timeline for the night.

Eric was amazing! He made planning our music so easy. I really only directed him on a short list of songs that we wanted played for specific moments and let him take control of the rest! He kept everyone moving on the dance floor all night long and was more than willing to stay for an extra hour at the end of the night because everyone was having so much fun! He even jumped on the dance floor for a minute to show folks how to do the wobble. Our wedding was so much fun… a big thank you to Eric!!!

Eric is amazing! He was always readily available my email or phone. Setting up meetings with him was super easy. My favorite is that he has a system that you get to input the songs you want/don’t want, etc and you can make it your own! He also gives great suggestions if you need help picking songs! Thank you Eric for making my ceremony and reception music run smoothly. Everyone loved you!!! As I work in the wedding business and work with multiple DJs each year, but Atlantic Premiere is the absolute best!!!!

We had John as our DJ and he was excellent! He played the exact style and tastes of music for our wedding!
The beginning of our reception were more oldies and perfect for our older & middle aged crowd! Also playing songs that children will enjoy and the more conservative side would enjoy!
After we had most of the families leave the reception for the night, after having a blast dancing, john began to play club music so our younger crowd would have a great time!
I most definitely recommend John! He was super nice, helpful and excellent!

Eric is awesome! He was the first DJ we met with for our wedding, and there was no need for any more after that. We heard great reviews about him and he definitely did NOT disappoint! Neither my husband nor I are much of dancers, but he had people on the floor the whole time. I had numerous people tell me after the fact that the DJ (they didn't know him) was the best they've seen at a wedding. Do yourself a favor and book him!

If you have not booked a DJ yet, Eric Thompson is AMAZING. Eric had everyone dancing at our wedding the entire night!! He is excellent at what he does! Before the wedding party introductions into the reception, Eric came outside to make sure he had the order correct and that he said everyone’s names correctly. He was outstanding and I highly recommend!! Thank you so much for everything Eric!!

Eric is one of the best Wedding DJs I've worked with. I've been a photographer seeing Eric at weddings here in Wilmington for well over a decade. Every wedding I have had with Eric has been seamless. He understands how to read a crowd better than anyone else I have worked with over the years here plus he's an all around nice guy. Two thumbs up for this guy. Stop looking and stressing now- Eric is the perfect DJ!!! I know how it is to be looking for a DJ, especially miles away since my wedding was a destination wedding. I relied heavily on reviews to pick my vendors. After speaking to Eric, he made me feel very confident that he was the perfect fit. His online planner helped me keep my songs organized and kept open communication. I have been in nursing school and it has taken a while for me to write this review but I couldn't let it go- ERIC IS THAT GOOD! I felt that need to let other brides know that he is an excellent choice.
Eric can accommodate your every needs- want a DJ with personality that is willing to dance on the floor and get the party started? you got it! Want a DJ that is more behind the scenes and willing to take requests last minute from the bride? he's it:) My venue wasn't an easy set up either- my ceremony was outside on top of a mountain, then my reception was at the ground of that mountain with an outside cocktail hour on the first floor and the reception another floor up. No complaints with Eric- he handled it with ease and I didn't once have to even worry or check in to make sure it was going smoothly. Eric kept me up-to-date throughout the whole wedding, giving me warning signals of when the bridal toss, garter dance etc. was about to start and even added a surprise anniversary dance for our parents that I requested. I have to add- when my priest decided he didn't want to use a microphone last minute, I quickly called Eric who calmed me down and said he had a Bluetooth headset he could use.
Eric also traveled for my wedding which is a major plus!!! Your DJ is one of the most important parts of your wedding- and ladies I wouldn't steer you wrong, book with Eric now and you won't regret it:)

I hired Atlantic Premier Entertainment to DJ my wedding and couldn't have asked for a better musical experience! My guests and I all had an amazing time and danced all night. Our DJ did a terrific job of reading the room, taking requests, and keeping everyone up and having fun. The songs ran into each other so there were no awkward pauses. It was a great experience and I got endless compliments on how much fun my reception was!

Eric was chosen through St. James plantation and I am not disappointed at all. I like a lot of different music and Eric seemed to get that. He made sure that all the names were pronounced correctly, and people were paired up correctly too. He took charge so I didn't have to.

Full disclosure: I have worked with Eric in the wedding world for the last 4 years. I have recommended him to countless brides, and he NEVER dissipoints. I even asked him to drive up to Raleigh for our wedding, because I truly couldn't see anyone comparing to his quality.
When it came to booking my own wedding- I couldn't think of anyone else to being the party- and lord have mercy did he ever! Eric was perfect. Keeping people on the dance floor all night long- and even jumping in and having fun with us. He is so professional and responds to questions quickly. If you're looking for a DJ that will be invested in you, and truly care what you are looking for and make sure you have a good time- you found him.

He let us have as much control as we wanted and where we didn't want to have as much control he nailed our taste in music! He was also super flexible! I used Atlantic Premier as my DJ for my April 2016 wedding. Eric is fantastic! From the very beginning he was on the ball answering my emails very quickly. He even went above and beyond the call of duty and helped me find other vendors to work with. He played all the song choices I requested and helped to make sure the schedule went as planned. If you are doing a beach wedding, I highly suggest using a DJ for the wedding ceremony as well. My guests were very impressed at how well they could hear the ceremony even though it was at the beach. Thanks, Eric for being a part of my wedding and making our day one to remember! You rock!

We are so so glad we picked Eric to DJ our wedding!! He was fun, excited, and extremely helpful in our planning process. He even came out to the dance floor during our reception when he could tell the whole dance floor wanted to dance to the "wobble" but no one knew where to start. Having him and his helper John Provide the music for our ceremony, and DJ our reception was by far one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding!

We couldn't be happier with the service provided by Atlantic Premier Entertainment. The booking process was very simple, and they took the time to learn about us and to find out what type of feel we wanted for our wedding. DJ Jeremy did a fantastic job! He met with us to help us select music for our ceremony, and took detailed notes about our special requests for the event. Jeremy kept the dance floor full all night with his awesome music selections, and we can't count the number of guests who told us it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. A++++!!!
