Booking The Atlanta Wedding Band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the planning process with Casey to the incredible performance by Ruben and the band, everything was absolutely seamless. They handled so much more than just the reception music—from helping with our ceremony audio and officiant microphone setup to creating the perfect atmosphere during cocktail hour.
And then the party started. Ruben's saxophone entrance was iconic and set the tone for the most fun night ever. The band brought an unbelievable amount of energy, the dance floor was packed all night long, and I honestly don't think I've ever seen so many people dancing at a wedding. Even weeks later, our guests are still talking about how amazing the band was. They truly made the reception feel like the best party we've ever been to, and we cannot recommend them enough to any couple looking for a wedding band that will absolutely blow their guests away.Atlanta Wedding Band's reply:

AWB was simply amazing!! They kept the party going all night and the dance floor was never empty. Marshall was our bandleader and was absolutely incredible! Our guests raved that this was the most fun wedding they had been to. AWB was so easy to work with and learned to play all of the first dance songs live, which was so special! We cannot recommend this band enough! They absolutely MADE our wedding reception. The music was incredible from start to finish, they kept the energy up all night, and the atmosphere they created was exactly what we hoped for. Our guests are still talking about how amazing they were and how packed the dance floor stayed!
Not only are they extremely talented, but they were also professional, fun, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process. We hired the 5 piece band for our wedding in Atlanta this spring and they were absolutely amazing. The band played and sang each of our first dance songs perfectly. They kept people on the dance floor the entire night and played almost all of our suggested songs. Hiring this band was one of the best decisions we made and one of the highlights of our wedding day. We cannot say enough good things about the Atlanta Wedding Band! From start to finish, Casey was incredible to work with — so helpful, responsive, organized, and very reasonable with pricing. He made the entire process feel easy and stress-free.
The saxophone player during cocktail hour was such a huge hit and added the perfect vibe to our wedding. And then the band absolutely blew everyone away. They were SO talented, kept the energy up all night, and we got endless compliments from our guests about how amazing the music was.
We’ve genuinely asked them to let us know if they’re ever performing publicly somewhere because we would love to go hear them again. That says everything. If you’re considering booking them for your wedding, do it — they made our night unforgettable!Atlanta Wedding Band's reply:

Our experience with the Atlanta Wedding Band was phenomenal and exemplary from first inquiry to the double-encore. My wife and I were financially responsibility for the majority of our wedding expenses, and as the groom I was charged with sorting out entertainment for our reception... enter the Atlanta Wedding Band!
From the jump Casey was responsive, easy to work with, and seemed genuinely excited for AWB be part of our day. Their quotes are produced promptly and all pricing is available for discussion and review up front which is a huge bonus for couples navigating a budget. Another distinction is that AWB is flexible, allowing for changes or alterations to the plan up to a short window in advance. Casey and crew handled the logistics of our ceremony PA & musician, cocktail hour entertainment, and then Mike and the gang blew the party away for hours as a 6 piece band. We had all generations present on the dance floor making for so many special moments!
AWB offers couples options for payment too. Notably, if part or all of the event balance needs to be paid via credit, the band will waive pay the fee themselves, leaving couples with just the agreed-upon price as if paid in cash.
TL:DR- AWB is a fantastic group of musicians and they know how to throw a party. There are so many nuances to wedding entertainment, and having both attended weddings and hosted a wedding where AWB was in charge, they deserve to be on your radar as you prep for the big day. These guys KILL IT!! Casey is super easy and fun to work with, and the band is an absolute blast! They elevate a wedding beyond anything you can imagine. The music can make or easily break a wedding, and these guys make it and then some. They are worth every penny. If you want the most out of wedding music and everything that goes with it, hire them. As a planner, I was very impressed with Atlanta Wedding Band at my recent December wedding in Aiken, SC. Their contract and communication leading up to the wedding was straight forward and organized. They arrived on time and set up with ease. Mike was our band lead and as the emcee, he was wonderful communicating logistics and checking in with me through out the night. Having the Atlanta Wedding Band perform for our wedding was the best decision we made when planning our day. From start to finish, they were professional and immensely talented. We went through their song list and picked out what we liked, then Casey and his crew put together an AMAZING set list featuring absolute bangers. Their expertise even helped guide us in which instruments we should include in the band make up based off our song choices/styles. They perfectly emceed the reception, hitting all the right tones and moments for a picture perfect evening. Since the wedding, tons of our guests have reached out to compliment us on our band choice--they really got the party started and kept it going. I want to hire AWB for every event I ever host! The Atlanta Wedding Band performed for our wedding in Savannah and they were amazing! They went above and beyond for us and we could not have been more pleased. The dance floor was packed from the beginning to the end with people of all ages. I had so many friends and family complement them! My fiance and I hired the Atlanta Wedding Band to entertain our guests for 2 back to back wedding receptions in Atlanta, and I have to say, they absolutely blew the roof off the place on BOTH NIGHTS!!! We had organized two very unique and multifaceted events with lots of moving parts. We had cultural ceremonies with unique musical needs, surprise performances by our guests and by me, the groom, and very specific playlists for our Welcome Party (helmed by AWB's DJ - Kevin Llarena, who absolutely CRUSHED IT) and for the cocktail hour and dinner hour during our reception. For the main Wedding Reception dance party, we asked AWB's 6 piece band, led by Mike L'Altrella, to play 80's, 90's, and rock music, and they ROCKED THE HOUSE! The dance floor was packed on both Friday and Saturday nights and we just didn't want the party to stop! I have to say, I'm already planning to have another wedding just so I can hire AWB to perform for us and our guests again! I've had a huge smile glued to my face since my wedding last week and I don't see it going away any time soon. When you book your venue, your next call should be to check the dates with The Atlanta Wedding Band. They handled all things music and A/V for my entire wedding weekend. We had a singer for our welcome party, piano at our ceremony, singer for our cocktail hour and then the band for the wedding. They were AMAZING at every turn. So easy to work with from the initial consultation to a last minute ask I threw at them in the middle of the wedding. I had a specific vision for my music that was a little different than the traditional wedding band, and they were able to customize to my tastes to deliver the exact vibe we were hoping for, while also keeping everyone dancing and wishing for more at the end of the night. Looking for a wedding band proved challenging at first until my fiance recalled seeing an amazing band at a friends wedding. That band turned out to be Atlanta Wedding Band (AWB)! In addition to a fantastic performance and vibe the band took care of everything (ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception) which made our lives planning much easier. The vast majority of our guests went out of their way to comment on how excellent our music was. AWB was very professional and efficient, including providing a detailed questionnaire months before the wedding date that gave us the opportunity to provide our music and vibe preferences and inform the band's direction. My fiance is a dead head and they even learned a song specifically for him that was a highlight of his night!

Where do I even start…… THIS BAND IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN! I don’t think we’d have the title “the wedding of the century” without you guys. People were kidding when they say this band keeps the party alive and dancing BECAUSE THEY DO!! The whole experience with AWB was amazing and they met my expectations and took it to the next level. From smoke guns on stage, sing alongs and crowd surfing this was a wild party!!! If you’re looking for a fun night that will keep people talking about for years. AWB IS YOUR BAND!!! We absolutely loved working with Atlanta Wedding Band! They gave us the best wedding we could have asked for. We chose a six-piece band for our party of 200 which felt like the perfect fit. We worked with Casey and Brandon, who were both highly organized and provided a seamless schedule. They let us pick a mix of songs for our cocktail hour and wedding and learned nearly all of the songs on our wedding playlist! They truly brought the energy and kept the crowd going. I cannot recommend the Atlanta Wedding Band enough. From the moment we decided to include them in our wedding day, Casey walked us through the entire process of music selection, proper pronunciation of all names (so important and often overlooked), MC involvement, and timing of everything in between. Casey understands all the other demands bride and grooms have during wedding planning and was so accommodating and patient with all our interactions, calls, and emails. Then on our wedding day the entire band made a special day, magical. The way they read the room during the reception and kept the energy on the dance floor so high was outstanding. The planning was done so professionally, and the band’s skill was phenomenal. The AWB was the best decision we made for the reception!
Wish we could get married and party with them again! Rueben and the band were incredibly professional, and took such good care of us. They rocked the house, had several different instrument options, and Rueben has a great voice and stage presence. They were so helpful and made the planning so easy. The wedding went super smooth thanks to them. We received so many compliments from our guests. If you want to have the best reception, book the Atlanta Wedding Band, pay for the open bar, and forget about everything else. Expectations Exceeded
As a bride, there are a million choices to make throughout the wedding planning process and hiring the Atlanta Wedding Band for our special day was the #1 choice we made. Ruben Camacho and the band absolutely exceeded our expectations and kept the party going all night long. There was not a minute when the dance floor wasn't packed throughout our entire reception which was exactly what we dreamed for our wedding. They did a great job of feeding off of the crowd and came up with the perfect set to appeal to the full range guests at our wedding. They were also extremely accommodating and helped our best man set up mics to allow him to play the song he wrote to accompany his best man speech. Thank you so much Ruben and the AWB for making our wedding a night to remember. Additionally, Casey was lovely to work with throughout our entire planning process and made our entire booking process worry free. Absolutely 5 star job to the whole crew. Atlanta wedding band was the highlight of our big day! From planning every detail with Casey, to Mike handing everything night of, the whole team was amazing to work with. The biggest thing we heard from our guests was “wow that band!” They helped ring us into the new year playing our desired genres of music, and all our special requests. We wanted a fun party at our wedding and so in addition to a great venue and open bar, we knew we wanted top knotch music. From previous weddings we attended, we knew that meant having a live band to bring the energy and sound for our wedding. Casey, Marshall, and the rest of the AWB team hit it out of the park the entire day.
The team handled everything for our day; ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They made a custom bridal entrance instrumental song for us which was great, and they also did a phenomal job in taking the types of music we liked and wanted through the night. The best thing we did was not to try and control their set that much. We gave them the freedom to read the room and play what the crowd was feeling and needed through the night, and that is really where they shine.
They also did a great job with the special dance songs and learning those. Highly recommend AWB for any of your events where you want a good time on the dance floor.Atlanta Wedding Band's reply:

We are so happy that we hired the Atlanta Wedding Band! From our first call with Casey to our wedding day, they were so accomodating and responsive and truly cared about making our day special. We had a guitar/singer duo for cocktail hour and a 9-piece band for our reception. No words can describe how amazing AWB was! A good band is important for the reception, and they blew away any expectations we had. They played the best set list and took minimal breaks if any (I can't even remember that they took one). Booking Atlanta Wedding Band was one of the best decisions we made! All of our guests loved them and we did as well! They were also great to work with. Very responsive manager and the band leader was so nice, he even rehearsed our first dance with us before our ceremony when we were really nervous about it. They are super easy going and there for a great time! I loved that they had a very long set list and did a great job catering to different age groups. We also really appreciated that they let us sing up on stage with them. In addition to booking a band, we also used them for a violinist for our ceremony and music for our cocktail hour, which they did a great job with as well. Atlanta Wedding Band did such a fantastic job at our wedding! We really appreciated the level of service we received throughout the entire process. Casey was super helpful and knowledgable when we booked AWB, and when we started working with Nick, our band leader, he was incredibly responsive and understanding of our vision for the night! We had seen AWB perform at another friend's wedding, and we wanted a different vibe on our dance floor. Nick totally took our notes to heart and made it happen! Of all the bands we researched, AWB definitely provided the most customization in terms of arrangements and musical selections. Music/dancing at the reception was very important to us, and we booked AWB because of their willingness to work with us on our vision. They were flexible on the day-of when our reception timeline got a little off track, and they were still able to play all of the songs we requested. AWB learned our first dance song, and it sounded amazing!! They kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire night, and everyone of all ages was raving about how great the band was! These guys smoked it. My now-wife and I were looking for a 90s-00s pop-punk/emo/alternative concert vibe and Brandon and team absolutely delivered. Brandon took the extra time to comb through our Spotify playlists and build out a custom setlist, surprising us with several of our favorite songs that weren't listed on the website. They also went out of their way to learn songs from Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday for us, and you could tell they had a lot of fun playing stuff you wouldn't hear at most weddings. The string duo for the ceremony was excellent, the MCing of the reception was top notch--we really couldn't have asked for more at our event.
Last thing--our wedding was originally scheduled for May of 2020 and AWB allowed us re-book six weeks out for nearly a year and a half later, didn't upcharge us a single penny, and never made us feel bad about it. The Atlanta Wedding Band…where to begin? I had one assignment from my bride for our Wedding Weekend (7/31/21), and that was to find the perfect band for our reception. After speaking to many vendors and in all honestly not finding one that conveyed a sense of genuine care towards our special weekend, I was beginning to get nervous. I stumbled upon AWB in September of 2020 and sent them an email request for information. Within minutes I had heard from Casey and we had a phone call scheduled. After a half an hour on the phone I was sold. Our conversation wasn’t about prices or the band’s needs, it was simply about what my fiancé and I envisioned for our wedding. We booked AWB with Casey and John with a seamless contract process and we were off and running. About two months before our big weekend, we got into the details, which couldn’t have been more fun. At this point we were introduced to the lead signer and MC for the night’s festivities, Nick, and he could not have been more accommodating. After our call with him he simply told us “You guys picked some bangers, this party is going to be so much fun, and we can’t wait to play for you all!”. The ceremony and cocktail hour were executed to perfection with exactly the music we wanted; and the reception I can hardly put into words. Once the introductions, speeches, and first dances were complete, everyone was invited to the dancefloor – the party did not stop until it was time for our sendoff. The music we requested the band to learn, the set list they built around our requests, every aspect of our reception truly exceeded all expectations. Casey, John, and Nick were a dream to work with; responsive, engaging, and kind. AWB was easily one of the BEST decisions we could have made for our wedding, and I can’t recommend this group enough. WOW! Just WOW! If any wedding vendor has ever earned their perfect 5 Star review it would be the Atlanta Wedding Band (AWB). Throwing our daughter’s wedding was a herculean task with over 20 vendors. One of the best decisions we made was to hand off the fun and party piece of the day to the AWB. From start to finish the level of responsiveness and willingness to please was over the top. They have to be the nicest group of people I have ever met and that is before the first song has played. The dance floor was simply packed the ENTIRE time. At midnight we were required to wrap up but the guest would have no part of it. After the last song, in mob like unisom they chanted “ONE MORE SONG”. Of course they obliged! My daughter and I had choreographed, a little dance number to a Ray Charles song and they not only pulled off the customized version flawlessly but sounded amazing. Whether you like 80s, 90s, funk, rock, it doesn't matter they can deliver like no other band I have ever heard. The guests are still talking about how fantastic the music was that day and how much fun it was. Hiring the AWB was absolutely the best money we could have spent. They are in my opinion the best of the best! At the end of the day we consider them friends not simply one of the wedding vendors.

As many tales of wedding days go, our day went by quickly in a beautiful blur of hugs and kisses, but I can tell you that years from now when Ryan and I are old and grey, we will remember one thing about our wedding day: we DANCED! And so did every single one of our friends and family members! Weeks later, we are still getting compliments on our wedding, and specifically receiving accolades for Atlanta Wedding Band. We cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, AWB is the way to go.
To profile ourselves, we are both in our 30s and love music. My girlfriends and I are definite dancers, but I have to say, the minute I saw my new husband on the dancefloor so early in the night, I knew this was going to be a great party, and AWB was on the right track. Our guests ranged from their mid-20s through mid-70s, and every single person was on the dance floor at some point during the night. The band did a great job of catering to everyone’s listening profiles, and by the end of the night, even the “I don’t dance” people were moving and grooving! Our friends and family came in from Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, and New York, and I continue to hear that we had one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to. As someone who has also dallied around the wedding circuit, I have to agree! We had SUCH a fun wedding with AWB!
Behind the scenes in the prep-phases, I have to give John Thrasher the highest of kudos. Not only is he a professional, but he is kind and honest and warm; it feels like you are working with a friend you’ve known forever. There is really no stupid question with him. There are so many pieces of a wedding that can be daunting, and even if it’s not in his wheelhouse, John has such great experience, he likely has an answer for you or will find it. Moreover, for all of his talent and skill, there is zero air of pompousness about him. He is a class-act. Fair, kind, jovial, and professional. You can tell he wants your day to be great, and that he’s passionate about his work.
Brides, grooms, all people getting married: AWB was an absolute highlight of our day. They mic’d our officiant and readers during the ceremony, they played chill acoustic music during dinner, they emceed the night, they did the sound for all the speeches, and obviously played an incredible party we will remember forever-- everything went off without a hitch. They did everything with kindness and with me and Ryan at the center. We were so pleased with our decision to go with Atlanta Wedding Band and hope they bring the same joy to your wedding day as they did to ours!

It took me a long time to pick the band for our wedding, but after watching tons of videos I chose Atlanta Wedding Band. We were super happy we did! They were fantastic! They kept the dance floor full the entire night and we had a very diverse crowd of all ages to please. My mom wanted some shag, we wanted 80s and our friends had their own requests, which the band was open to playing for them. John thrasher is great and easy to work with. He gets back to you ASAP, which was important for peace of mind in the final weeks leading up to the event. Our MC, Marshall was also great with communication and collaborating with me on specific details I wanted for the event. I specifically asked for Marshall to play at our wedding, because I could tell from the videos he was a fantastic musician and entertainer. I highly recommend this band.
