We could not be happier with our choice of Atlanta Dahlia Photography. From the jump, when we were researching wedding photographers, I could already tell the creative intentionality in their galleries and the diversity of styles that complemented each couple in their own unique ways. Additionally, they had photographed LGBTQ weddings, which immediately stood out as being inclusive. Their professionalism was top-notch - Amanda had everything so organized, methodical, easy, and manageable throughout the entire year leading up to our wedding.
It’s obvious that, between their business operations, creativity, and depth of experience, they are a top-tier photography team. And it’s also so sweet that they are a husband-and-wife dynamic duo.
Lastly, the timeliness of our sneak peeks was wonderful. We received our full gallery in just about a month turn around, and are so overjoyed and impressed. Lee was able to capture our event with incredible attention to detail and powerful moments, and really represented the entire experience exactly how it was felt at the time. That is intuition and creativity at work. He was so efficient and precise with wrangling bridal party and family for staged photos while balancing the time to allow my wife and to be present with our guests, and tear up the dance floor. His ability to get people to laugh or relax right before snapping the best shot, or the candids he got on the dance floor, showed just how well he harnessed and captured all the genuine, natural love and happiness that was circulating.
We 110% recommend Atlanta Dahlia Photography for preserving the memories of one of the best days of your life. I’m a total cheese wheel, because even writing this review makes me emotional cause we’re so grateful for these two. Best vendor choice ever!

FANTASTIC Photography and Videography team
We are thrilled with our photos and videos from Atlanta Dahlia. We had a small wedding, so we only had one photographer. Lee was awesome to work with! He was flexible and open to all the shots we asked him to take, and the photos truly captured the joy, love, and laughter throughout our day. The videographer also captured some wonderful moments throughout our day, and we were so excited to receive our awesome documentary video last week. Any time I had any questions, Amanda was incredibly responsive and always got back to me very quickly. THANK YOU to Atlanta Dahlia for capturing our amazing day so perfectly! -

I had such a wonderful experience working with Amanda and Lee. They really know what they’re doing. I had worries that I wouldn’t know how to pose for my wedding photos to look good, but they are great at giving explicit direction. And they have exceptional attention to detail. I’ve already seen a sneak peek of our wedding photos and I’m so impressed. They also moved super quickly when it came to family and friend photos, so the guests could quickly get back to enjoying the party. They made sure every photo we wanted happened, without being pushy or not allowing us to enjoy our day. I also loved our photobooth that we rented through them. 10/10 - absolutely no regrets! From the moment I met Amanda I knew she was the perfect person and it was clear that she has a true passion for capturing beautiful moments.
On the wedding day, Amanda was not only professional but also incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel comfortable in front of the camera which we both hate but she made taking pictures a joy! She blended seamlessly into the background while still managing to capture all the candid moments that made our day so special.
The final photos exceeded our expectations! Every image is a beautiful reminder of our love and the joy we felt surrounded by our family and friends. I cannot recommend Amanda enough to anyone looking for a talented photographer who truly cares about their clients and their craft. -

Amanda and Lee were so accommodating and communicative leading up to the wedding. On the day of, they were perfectly on time and the perfect balance of professional and familial. They made everyone feel so comfortable, gave the perfect amount of direction, and were extremely patient with the inevitable hiccups that come along with timelines. They blended into the background of the whole day to capture the candid, natural moments of the day, and stepped into the spotlight when people needed direction and guidance. It was the perfect balance and we never felt like we were distracted from enjoying our day. The photos and video are STUNNNNNNING and perfectly captured the most magical weekend of our lives (so far!) -

Amanda made sure that she knew which specific shots were important to us and they got them all on the day. The flow of family/wedding party pictures was a breeze and right on schedule. Omg where do I begin!!
Amanda and Lee are what you call top of the line photographers. They would always pick up a phone call or answer an email and if they couldn't they always got back to me in less then a 24 hour period. They both had a typed out detailed timeline for our wedding and the type of photos that needed to eb captured before my coordinator did! My coordinator went off of Amanda and Lee's timeline. Even our wedding venue owner said Amanda and Lee were the best photographers they have ever had at their farm in all the years they have been open.
Amanda and Lee are punctual, charismatic, caring, thoughtful and thorough with their work. And by golly do they have talent with capturing the little moments and details and making something so simple and small look so extravagant. You can tell they have done plenty of weddings before as they have everything down to a science from lighting, hand placements, ideas, to even how the train of my dress should look and capturing bubbles at night without blinding us with flash...
After the wedding I had almost every parent and guest ask who my photographers were and if they were available for future weddings and parties.
I can't say it enough how much my husband and I apperciated Lee and Amanda and their constant dedication to make our day stress-free and fun.
I can't stress it enough... we even got our sneak peaks less then 24 hours after the wedding!!! They are THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER'S IN THE WORLD!! I
Would choose them over and over again. I CANNOT brag enough about them. They exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond for us.

Absolutely Amazing!!
I absolutely love the entire Atlanta Dahlia team and cannot say enough amazing things about them. We had our engagement session and wedding with them and our photos were absolutely stunning! Since the moment we booked with them Amanda was so informative and helpful and answered my emails very quickly every time. They made sure we had a great timeline for our wedding and it turned out perfect and captured so many sweet moments! We had guests asking us if they were family friends because of how personable they were with eveyone and so easy to talk to! They are even photographing my sisters wedding next May and we can’t wait to work with them again! I will absolutely be using Atlanta Dahlia for any future photography sessions! -

Phenomenal
I cannot say enough amazing things about Atlanta Dahlia Photography + Videography! We chose Amanda and her husband for our big day and we have absolutely no regrets! The both of them were so extremely helpful during our planning process and Amanda was so supportive, professional, bubbly, and responsive! On the day of the both of them showed up and got to work! They made sure our photo timeline fit our needs. They were flexible with the weather changes (it rained)! They were so fun and really made my husband and I feel comfortable and made sure that we got every photo we wished for! My family and friends were even raving about how sweet and fun the two of them were to work with! We just got our sneak peeks back and I am OVER THE MOON! We cannot wait for the rest of them and for the videos! We would give them 1000 star review if we could and I will be recommending them to everyone that needs a photographer or videographer! -

We have only been married a week and haven’t even gotten our full gallery yet but I couldn’t wait to review Amanda and her team. We received both photography and videography for our wedding, and even though we’ve only gotten a few sneak peaks so far I am so excited to see the rest. I am usually really self conscious and hate myself in pictures but Amanda captured the day beautifully and I felt and looked amazing in all of our pictures. She also communicated so well through the whole planning process, reaching out via email every few weeks as the wedding got closer as well as phone calls to go over details. On the day of she helped coordinate photos to make sure I got all the shots I wanted but also was able to enjoy the day without stressing. Lots of direction where needed to get great candid shots too. I couldn’t have asked for a better photo/video team. I included my favorite photo from our sneak peaks for reference to show just how great she was! -

I would recommend Atlanta Dahlia photography to absolutely anyone. From the beginning of our time together Amanda was ALWAYS super prompt in her responses and communication. Absolutely transparent about pricing and what was offered, time, shooters, etc. Any questions we had were answered immediately and thoroughly - in a way that was kind and knowledgeable, and she never made it feel like we were a burden in any way. The payment system was so easy! Then the day of for photos - perfection. They guide you and make it feel effortless and stress free. and the photos are absolutely gorgeous. We received sneak peeks in less than 2 days from our wedding. I was in shock. We were from out of town and out of all of the vendors we interacted with, Amanda and her team were BY FAR the easiest, most patient, helpful, communicative, budget conscience, and VALUE that we interacted with. They brought so much more than just pictures to the table. She gave recommendations for other vendors, she is prepared and organized above and beyond! I never had to worry about anything. Ugh! I can’t even put into words how incredible Lee and Amanda are! We felt so comfortable with them and they gave us the perfect amount of direction. I was that crazy bride-to-be who interviewed photographers before selecting one. This was also during quarantine so I had a lot of time to plan my wedding and find the perfect vendors. (I say perfect but that doesn't even come close to Amanda's work). After chatting with Amanda, I knew she was the photographer I wanted for my wedding. She was professional, personable, and so easy & lovely to talk with! She eased my mind and really helped me plan out my engagement timeline with pictures as well as planning a great timeline for the day of! From our engagement photos, to my Bridal Protraits, to our wedding photos, Amanda really captured all the moments and details we wanted! She is so creative & talented, each picture clearly shows that! I'm so thankful her (and her husband, Lee) were the ones behind the camera. They worked so well as a team on our wedding day and really helped us all day long, even if it was getting us some water to stay hydrated. I'm so thankful Amanda stayed with us girls to help us capture Pre-Ceremony details and Lee went with the guys to help them get ready and to capture the moments beforehand. I highly recommend having 2 photographers the day of!! I told Amanda from the get go we needed a lot of guidance and she did just that! She positioned us so carefully and perfectly for each photo!! My favorite thing was during our last phone session, we went over a must have wedding shot list. OH MY GOODNESS!! She made sure we got everything captured and even had a print out to make sure she didn't miss anything. She was such a joy to work with and really made me feel so at ease with every step & photo! I cannot recommend her enough!! I will also be using her for any future photos that I need. She was by far one of my favorite vendors on the big day!! -

We booked Atlanta Dahlia Photography because our wedding planner suggested them and the portfolio fit in with the vibe that I was wanting and my pictures were everything I wanted and more! Amanda is such a sweetheart and the BEST hype woman! I am usually very terrible at taking pictures (especially professional) and she guided us every step of the way! Before the wedding day, she made sure to get in contact with me and ask me all sorts of questions so that she could truly capture every little thing that I wanted the day of the wedding. We can not say enough about how amazing Amanda and her team were throughout our entire wedding planning and after! Having wedding photos that I loved was one of my top list must-haves and Amanda did more than I could have imagined to make that happen. We feel we are awkward taking pictures but Amanda made us feel extremely comfortable. Our small guest list loved her too! With her live streaming service, she also made our out of town guest feel that they were right there with us. Their high-quality equipment allowed for our virtual guests to be able to hear the entire outdoor ceremony that was on a porch of a beachfront house. We cannot stop looking at our finished gallery and watching our video! Amanda has an amazing talent and I highly recommend her to anyone! -

Astounding
I honestly can’t find the words to describe how amazing Amanda and her team were on our wedding day. Even with the horrible C word that changed everything last minute, Amanda was a dream to work with. They were able to live stream our wedding in addition to taking our photos. Hours before our ceremony the sky’s opened up and even still our pictures turned out more perfect than I could have imagined! Jake and I are not great at having our picture taken but some of our shots just 😍😍😍. I can not wait to display them in our home and be reminded of our perfect day! -

I found Amanda at a time when I was feeling pretty discouraged in wedding planning. I was having trouble finding vendors in my price range/that met my standard. A friend of a friend used Atlanta Dahlia for her wedding and I was blown away by her wedding photos. The first thing I noticed was how fast she recieved her gallery back! The second was how amazing the photos were. So I messaged Amanda and she was so responsive, so willing to work with me, and just an all around amazing person. She has an ability to keep you calm on your wedding day - I'm talking she pulled out a chilled bottle of water from her backpack for me to sip on moments before I walked down the aisle. Little things like that that just show how much she cares. With that being said, you will have no regrets by booking with her. Her second shooter, Chris was WONDERFUL too! My husband said he kept them laughing during the groom shots. 11/10 -

I am SO happy to have found Amanda! She is truly a gem. We had so much fun taking photos with her and you can tell she loves what she does. From the day I first contacted her, she was super responsive, almost always replying within the hour. Amanda answered all my questions in great detail and was so excited to work with us. The whole experience felt like working with and talking to a friend. My sisters and I wanted to get photos taken on the beach with our mom for her 60th birthday, so we were getting a ~1-hour family photo session done. Of all the people I looked up for that amount of time, Amanda gave me one of the most affordable quotes. For how much we got, this was BY FAR the best value. Her photos are light and airy and of really great quality. Besides being photographed by such a sweet and friendly person, the best thing about choosing Amanda is that she edits and sends you ALL POSSIBLE PHOTOS. Almost all photographers will charge you for an hour and send you 30 edited photos. We got back nearly TWO. HUNDRED. PHOTOS!! Wow did I count that right? That was for a 1-hour family session. She does say most family shoots will end up with 60-90 photos so maybe we were all just having so much fun and giving her a ton of stuff to work with lol.
We were scheduled to meet July 5 but the weather all week was calling for rain. So Amanda suggested meeting a day early to make sure we had plenty of time to get photos done and leave the next day as a backup. We were incredibly lucky because it didn't rain at all on July 4 and it rained all day long on the 5th. Amanda was so understanding and flexible with her time and kept me updated at all times. She sends you an optional questionnaire to fill out so she can get to know you and have a sense of what you're looking for. She also sends you a photo guideline of things to consider for a photo shoot. During the shoot, she made some suggestions here and there but it was pretty casual/natural for the most part. We were a bit worried about crowds on the beach on July 4 but Amanda's usual spot is at the far end of the beach where you don't really have people in the background of your photos. Everybody was also leaving the beach to head out for fireworks, so we got pretty lucky. You can do up to 2 locations and change your wardrobe if you want. We started at this small park hidden just off the highway that Amanda often uses. We're so glad Amanda suggested this place because nobody was there and we love the photos we took there. Her husband was also there to help carry her equipment and our bags lol. Afterwards, we went to the beach for more photos. We were only with Amanda for an hour but we didn't feel rushed and got so many photos out of our session. I think her family sessions can take a little longer with meeting up, driving, getting photos taken, but we were all so comfortable with her right off the bat that things went pretty smoothly.
Amanda sent us 3 sneak peeks the very next day and then the entire edited gallery 2 weeks after the shoot. She does basic editing on all of the photos like lighting and correcting flaws. If you want her to do more, detailed editing, she can do that as well for an additional cost. One of the things I appreciated was that she took a bunch of photos instead of waiting for that one possible good shot. This way you get a ton of great options. She uses an online client portal, which keeps track of everything including your contract, where you pay, the questionnaire, the photo guidelines/tips, and a copy all email exchanges. It was really helpful having this all in one place.
If I ever want to get photos done in Wilmington or the nearby area again, I am most definitely calling her! The experience was so amazing and she's so affordable, I'm tempted to do this again lol. HIRE HER.
Amanda, thank you for these wonderful memories! Our mom truly loved these photos. She couldn't stop smiling and telling all her friends about it. She was so happy with this whole experience, which is exactly what we wanted. -

Great eye for detail
I loved working with Amanda! She has an amazingly friendly and happy personality and is such a delight to work with. She gave us just the right amount of direction and was present without being demanding. She has a fantastic eye for detail! -
