An Amazing Team That Makes Your Big Day As Stress Free As it Can Be!!

We used At Your Side Planning’s month-of coordination service for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. About a year out, we booked with Diana, the owner, who hopped on a couple of calls with us, shared a super helpful timeline template for when to get things done, and gave us a fantastic list of vendor recommendations.

Then, two months before the wedding (not just a month out like most services), Diana and Robin (our on-site coordinator) got fully caught up on where we were, helped us tackle last-minute to-do’s, reminded us of a few details we’d overlooked, and made sure every “t” was crossed and every “i” dotted.

On our wedding weekend, Robin was simply amazing. She handled absolutely everything behind the scenes so we could stay present and enjoy the day. There were countless little things she did that we’ll never forget, but the biggest takeaway is this: because of her, we had a stress-free wedding. Our guests and even our other vendors kept telling us it was one of the most fun weddings they’d ever attended.

Amazing and wonderful experience!

Kendra was amazing! Planned a backyard wedding and she was knowledgeable, helpful, organized, and professional. She made the entire event run smoothly and she was fun to work with! Can’t thank her enough for making this such a special day! Would highly recommend!

Great Customer Service

AYS planning did a great job running our wedding day. We hired them to do our "month of" planning & they orchestrated the details of how the actual day would run. Everything went smoothly and I am grateful that I had so much help from them. Highly recommend!

Day of Coordination

The name doesn’t lie! Diana and Jackie were truly at my side throughout this whole process! I am so thankful to have found the perfect coordinators for such a big day! Diana got in touch with all my vendors, organized and sent out the final timeline. I did not have to worry about a thing other than providing her with the info she needed to execute and plan the perfect wedding! As for the day of, Jackie was on top of it! The wedding went so smoothly that I didn’t need much, but whenever and if I did, Jackie was right there! Everything that was discussed prior to the wedding was executed perfectly and Jackie is a true professional. Having her at the reception facilitated the flow of the events that even my guests expressed how fun, organized and smooth the day was. Diana and Jackie understand the nature of the business and will go over and beyond to work with you! This was money well spent!

Hiring At Your Side Planning and working with Diana and Kendra was what my mom and I consider the best decision we made for the wedding! We thought we could go it alone and decided that we didn't want the added stress of keeping things going smoothly on the big day. Since we had already arranged so much, we went with the Week of Wedding Management package. Kendra and Diana put together the schedule and contacted the vendors/worked with the venue to make sure everyone was on time and that no detail went unnoticed.

Kendra was absolutely amazing! She's incredibly sweet, organized and reliable. When my mom and I noticed that the venue had set up some odd decorations leading into the ceremony, Kendra was quick to snatch them up, cut up some extra roses we had and arrange them so that they fit in perfectly with our theme. And then later she spruced up our dessert stand (you might want to consider her as a florist, too!). My mom and I were concerned that having a planner would take away some of our control but Kendra fit in so perfectly. We really couldn't have pulled it off without her. And our venue was so in love with her that they want to add her to their recommended vendors.

Diana was an invaluable part of my wedding planning. She was always responsive and was very good at keeping in contact. You can tell that she genuinely cares about making sure everything goes well and that you are not feeling stressed. It takes a lot to handle my oftentimes overbearing family but she was an absolute trooper. She is calm, patient, but firm when it comes to handling stressful situations -- which you encounter a lot of with weddings! I honestly would not have been able to plan my wedding without her.

Diana is an absolutely amazing person! I am so happy that she was referred to me. Diana, with the assistance of Michelle, ensured that our wedding day was perfect. I worked with Diana on our day of schedule, vendor lists, and all details of our wedding day. I honestly did not have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. At your side planning is amazing! This is the 2nd time I have used them and their work is nothing short of phenomenal! Very attentive, great communication and is on top of everything! There were times we were getting side tracked with the wedding, but our planner was right there to make sure we met all of our deadlines!

The day of the wedding, problems came up (like any event would) and the coordinator was right there solve them. We were not bothered and the little issues that arose were taken care of quickly and quietly.

Highly recommended!!!!

Diana and her team were excellent. I noticed right away that she is a good listener. Her calmness and warmth were very helpful with so many decisions to make! It was very helpful to me to have her and her team's assistance on the many final details with the vendors, because one decision can affect several others. Through our various meetings, I felt all my questions were answered, ideas addressed, and details covered. In the end, everything came together perfectly. So many friends and family members have said how much they enjoyed the wedding. We did too! Thanks Diana for helping make our day so very special.

We had to plan our wedding long distance; we don't live in San Diego. Diana helped us find great vendors and dealt with any custom request. She worked closely with the vendors to get the best prices and to keep us on track. She was a great help planning the wedding; for parts we didn't really want to participate too much she handled it and others we coordinated with her, and there were no issues at all! Her staff is also great, especially Shauna. They were on track the whole time and totally helped us out.

On the day of, everything went perfectly and on schedule. Her and her staff were very helpful and always present, but never in the way. I'm not sure how else to describe it. If anything ever needed to be adjusted, they were always there, and the clean up and everything went great. In addition, pricing and everything were quite fair.

Diana was incredible from day one. I was never one of those girls who had their wedding all planned out since age 10. I literally had no clue what I wanted or how to go about the entire wedding planning process. The only information I was able tell Diana was that I value tradition, elegance, class and a whole lot of fun. Diana made sure I retained the best vendors and never made me feel pressure to do anything than what I wanted. Since I work full time I truly appreciated her promptness in getting back to me, constant communication, sense of organization and follow through. I would highly recommend At Your Side Planning to any bride no matter the size or budget of your wedding.

At Your Side Planning is truly the best wedding and event planning company in San Diego. I met with several planning companies and this company stood out. Diana was extremely prompt in responding back to my initial email and answered all my questions at the consultation. I was impressed that she had over 10 years experience as a few others i spoke with just started a few years ago. The planning was enjoyable and I felt like i was planning with my best friend! She understood my vision and brought it all together seamlessly. She and the team made sure my husband and I were well taken care of all day during the wedding as well. At Your Side Planning planned and coordinated my wedding last summer and it was amazing. The design of my wedding turned out beautifully. It was a destination wedding so not being in town was a bit of a challenge but Diana and her team took care of everything, listened to every concern and were by my side every step of the way. Diana was technically hired to be our "day of" person, but all of the information (referrals, questions answered, etc.) that she provided beforehand were as priceless as her and her teams support on our big day. Planning our wedding in another city than where we live felt overwhelming in details, until I found Diana. There is NO WAY everything would have turned out as smooth without her expertise and genuine caring. I highly recommend Diana and At Your Side Planning. It is a great gift to yourself!

The team was excellent throughout the planning and the day of. Very attentive to some details I wouldn't have noticed myself. Diana was so professional and easy to work with. She and her team were always on top of their game. At times she had to be stern with a couple of my vendors and she did it diplomatically and gracefully. Always organized, she was able to execute all of my plans perfectly. Diana and team did an awesome job. OUr wedding wouldn't have been what it was without them. They handled all vendors, funds, set up, etc. The only issue I had for the wedding was completely unrelated to their service (food quality at the San Diego Zoo was poor for the wedding compared to the tasting and my dress was ripped by an unknown source).

If your looking for a coordinator in the San Diego area, Diana is awesome.

Diana did a FANTASTIC job as my wedding coordinator. I'm a pretty good judge of character and was looking for someone who I trusted to get the job done considering my reception was going to be very challenging to make all the details right (Sidenote: I hired Diana before I even met her in person because of how much I liked her over the phone).The venue was Balboa Park's Spanish Art Village, which is not your normal venue to host a wedding reception at, but I was in love with the authenticity and charm that this space had. Now here is where it gets challenging, the SAV's rules included that we were not allowed to start setting anything up for the wedding reception until 5pm! 5pm is when my church ceremony began! So I had to find the perfect wedding coordinator who would ensure all the details I had planned would fall into place. It is hard for me to trust people to get things done, but Diana & her team completely surpassed my expectations and when I showed up at the reception, I was totally blown away by how perfect it was. She LISTENED to every detail and made it happen. She REMINDED me of certain details that I had not even thought about. She RAISED questions to make the reception even more seamless than I had originally planned. She was ALWAYS PLEASANT when I had a request and her responses always made me feel confident. Ultimately, she took my vision and planning and turned it into a reality since I couldn't physically be there to set the reception up the way I wanted. I definitely would recommend her as a party planner/wedding coordinator galore.

Diana and her team were one of the best decisions I made when it came to the day of the wedding. The time spent by At Your Side on my wedding made a big difference to me and my bridal party when it came our ability to relax and enjoy the day. The entire team was super helpful and they took care of the little things tht most people tend to forget or stress about. I had a minor makeup issue and they had all the right things to make everything better. They were also able to pick up and drop off my cake stand, which was also super helpful. Overall if I had to choose a wedding coordinator over again I would still pick At Your Side Planning.

Diana and her assistants were fabulous! In the beginning i tried to do all the planning myself, but got overwhelmed. When Diana came into the picture she took a lot of the stress off my shoulders. She listened to what i wanted, took detailed notes, and called me regularly to check up. She was my bestfriend for the month of the wedding. As a result, everything at the wedding was decorated beautifully and the reception flowed smoothly! I would definitely recommend Diana and her team to friends and family.

Diana was wonderful. She helped keep us on track both with tasks that needed to be completed and budget. She also provided great vendor recommendations and help us to secure everything we needed for the big day. Most importantly, she made the day of run so smoothly- at least from my perspective. I got to enjoy my day and was not alerted to any issues may have arisen- they were handled (I assume, I really don't even know if issues came up!) and I just got to take in the memories and spend time with new husband and our friends and family.

Money well spent! I felt very confident leaving all my planning and set up for the day of my wedding in the hands of At Your Side Planning. I'm very organized and like things to go right so I was very happy when the big day went off without a problem. They were very attentive to my needs through the planning and day of. They took lots of notes and did many revisions to make my day just the way I envisioned. I highly recommend them!
