Jenny and her team were highly detailed, efficient, and assistive! She coordinated our wedding and reception at The Hotel Maya, in Long Beach, California and answered all of our questions quickly, and helped us at every turn! From table placements to exceptional arrangements, Jenny was there with nothing less than perfection. We enjoyed the most beautiful and romantic wedding because of her efficiency. You often hear stories about things going wrong and unhappy guests, from bad food to missed cues. With Jenny and her team, every detail was on point, and we couldn’t be happier! Our wedding was perfect, and she was a significant part of that process! -

Extremely satisfied with this coordinator
If you are searching for an event coordinator save yourself the research time. Jenny Goodman and At Your Door Events is exactly who you will need!
Before my wedding I was foolishly under the impression that I would be able to handle all of the coordinating myself. I had a very intimate ceremony and figured it would save us some money in the long run. I’m telling you all now that is the wrong mentality. With less than a month to go I realized I was overwhelmed and way in over my head. We spoke to a few coordinators at the same time but none of them presented themselves with such warmth and excitement for us the way that Jenny did. She was there for us and our vendors as often as we needed. She laid out floor plans and strategies that never even crossed my mind. She mentioned to us that she’s been in the business about 16 years now and her experience shows.
On the day of my wedding I was in awe watching everything come together. Even with less than a month to go Jenny and her staff had everything looking exactly like we had envisioned it or better! Even all of the little things made such huge impacts. I had spent 3 days watching YouTube videos on how to fold cloth napkins. Jenny’s team provided 3 options for us to choose from that day. My wife and her sisters had a problem bustling her dress right before our first dance. Jenny stepped in and saved the day to make sure we remained on schedule. It was a long day but Jenny and her team were smiling and friendly with all of our guests from beginning to end. Our wedding day was such a magical experience and we owe a huge part of that to Jenny Goodman.
At Your Door Events will be the best decision you make for your event. Do yourselves that favor. No one will do right by you the way Jenny will! -

The best decision you can make
It may take a village to plan a great wedding, but it takes Jenny and her team at At Your Door Events to plan an unforgettable one. I didn't think I needed any help from a planner when I first got engaged, and by the end I don't think we could have thrown the party we did without Jenny's help. She is a supporter, a thought-partner, an expert, and someone who will go the extra mile to add JUST the right extra touches to make your day perfect.-

Great Planning For Our Small LA Wedding
We found Jenny on our venue's preferred vendor list and she was quick to respond, relative to the others we reached out to. After giving her the details of our wedding (~50 guests, ceremony/dinner/reception all in one venue), she offered a fairly priced package of virtual planning meetings and day-of coordinating. Jenny talked us through the typical wedding process and didn't push back when we cut out 'normal' activities, or added our own spin on things. Before even meeting her in person at the venue for the first time during rehearsal, she was hard at work wrangling guests and meeting with on-site staff. Overall it was a lovely experience working with At Your Door Events. -

Seamless planning experience!
Please do yourself a favor and hire Jenny and her team for your event! We picked Jenny/AYDE from a list of preferred vendors that our venue provided to us. To be quite honest, at the beginning, we did not really do any research on having a wedding coordinator. We only got one because our venue required one. However, as we proceeded with the planning process, we quickly realized that yes, having a wedding coordinator is an absolute must. As the wedding couple, you do not want to saddle yourself with logistics of where things go, giving tip envelopes, lugging supplies back and forth from your room, and things like that. During our Zoom calls with Jenny, she gave her expert opinion on how the timeline should go and the smoothest way to arrange everything. On the day of the event, we simply provided her and her assistant with an inventory list and a stack of labeled boxes, and they took care of the rest of the setup. She helped organize everyone for the ceremony, and ensured that the transition from ceremony to reception was seamless. They even transferred the ceremony flowers to the reception! And at the end of the event, we were so happy to see that the majority of our bulk items were delivered to our room (gifts, supplies, etc.). Everything was SEAMLESS.
Wouldn't you rather hire professionals to ensure that your event goes smoothly? Certainly, you very well could task your family & wedding party with setup and breakdown, but tensions may rise since it's more personal. Our goal was to maximize the amount of enjoyment of all of our guests.
We cannot thank Jenny enough for her professionalism and service. It made our Sept. 2022 wedding go so smoothly, especially considering we postponed twice due to the pandemic. 10/10!!! Thank you, Jenny!

Amazing Planners!
I highly recommend hiring Jenny and her team to plan your wedding! Jenny saved us when we hired her last minute after a difficult situation arose. She gives off the calming and reassuring energy you want from a planner. Valerie and Madison from her team helped us day-of, and they were great too! They consistently made me feel like everything was under control so that I didn't have to worry and could enjoy myself. We can't thank them enough for contributing to our big day! -

Above and beyond, incredibly professional, organized, and responsive
We LOVED working with Jenny and I cannot speak more highly about her as my wedding day coordinator! I initially met her through our original venue (which later changed) prior to the pandemic and when our event was pushed out a year, Jenny went above and beyond to contact and negotiate any changes with all my vendors, and kept me calm, encouraged, and in the loop during this heartbreaking time (she has great response time). Leading up to the wedding, she helped keep me organized and provided incredibly helpful advice from vendor recommendations (when some fell through due to the MULTIPLE wedding date changes) to a documented guide of tip amount to give to vendors. During our vendor calls that she attended, she made sure to ask questions that I would not have thought to asked, which showed her professionalism and experience. For the rehearsal, she kept a tight ship (providing clear and concise direction) and got our whole wedding party pumped up for the following day. And then finally, for our wedding day, everything seemed INCREDIBLY seamless and was an absolutely perfect day! My now husband and I have been waiting almost two years for our wedding to come, and because of Jenny, we had the most enjoyable and memorable day that we will truly treasure for the rest of our lives. -

Jenny Is The Best!
Jenny Goodman is an exceptional wedding planner. My wife Michelle and I can't imagine going through this without her. We had held off on hiring a planner for most of the process. But when we were told 6 weeks before our big day that we wouldn't be allowed in our venue to set up the centerpieces until a half hour before our ceremony started, our collective hand was forced. In hindsight, this was the biggest blessing in disguise we could imagine, because it brought Jenny onto our team.
From the minute we met her at the venue so she could get a vision for how our day would go, Michelle and I knew we were in the care of a consummate professional who would have our backs as we navigated the treacherous final weeks before the wedding. From setting up the centerpieces (which looked amazing) to little things like taking care of mailing in our wedding certificate after the event was over, Jenny was on-point. We knew if we emailed or texted a request to her once, it would be taken care of. We genuinely felt that Jenny was the best hire we made of all the vendors on our team. And it's not like we had any weak links. I cannot recommend her highly enough. -

Friendly and Professional Coordinators!
Jenny did such an amazing job with our month of coordination. She was so easy to reach and even set up a few meetings with us prior to our one month starting to help get a feel for everything that we wanted. She had amazing suggestions and was honest in her feedback to my ideas to make sure we had a perfect wedding day.
The day of the wedding went absolutely flawless thanks to Jenny and her amazing organization. If there were any hiccups throughout the day I am still not aware of them which means that Jenny did her job and then some.
If you are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and just amazing at what they do then look no further!

Jenny is not just an AMAZING wedding planner but a beautiful person who I now consider a friend. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN OUR WEDDING! I sent Jenny one photo, saying that I liked that look and she recreated it and then more. It was spectacular!
We live in Seattle and our wedding was in Calabasas. Three months out from our wedding date the venue (I had organised) totally messed us around and we had to find two new venues (it was a two day wedding) with very specific requirements (we had already booked catering, bar and international guests had already booked non-refundable Airbnbs in the area).
Firstly, the reason we found out the original venue was a dud was because Jenny did her DD and called the council to find out exact noise restrictions, that's when they told her the venue was in a lawsuit with the council and if we have the wedding there it it will be shut down on the day. So, if it hadn't been for Jenny, police would have arrived at our ceremony and shut us down. Once Jenny found this out she was straight on it.
We had only hired her as a partial planner for the first day but next thing she is driving from LA out to Calabasas/Malibu areas multiple times trying desperately to find us somewhere equally as great for both days.
AND BOY DID SHE FIND THEM! I scoff at the original venue!
Our wedding day was HOT and Jenny was running around, on top of absolutely everything! If anything went wrong, we didn’t hear about it.
IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! I AM ON CLOUD NINE!
Thank you Jenny! We love you and are eternally grateful for everything you have done for us. Honestly, I have tears of gratitude xxxxxxxxxxxxx

We hired Jenny as a DOC and she AMAZING!! She worked with our budget and exceeded our expectations! I did not have to worry about anything the whole day and it was so refreshing because I am definitely a worrier. She didn't even let me realize that my Groom was running late and pushing everything behind schedule lol She set up my venue, made sure every thing was running on time, and even packed our car at the end! SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! If you are thinking about booking go and do it now! -

At Your Door Events was recommended by my wedding venue and I couldn't have been happier! From the moment I spoke to Jenny I knew she was the one, and might I add - I talked to three prior to her. If you're a bride that has a ton of questions, that has a Pinterest board and feels like they know what they're doing, but then panic (me), or even the calm cool and collected bride (or so you think), Jenny is the planner for you. I hired Jenny for Month of Planning and she went above and beyond my expectations, she gave her input down to the last details of my wedding and always calmed my fears, she advised us on what she thought would need and wouldn't need, even saving us money when I was being over the top as the day grew closeer! I honestly don't know how she put up with me and my 1,000 e-mails and text messages (that's right, even texts!), but she did and not once did she not get back to me in a timely manner or provide me with status updates. She did so much behind the scenes work that I didn't even know about; and when we met to discuss the timeline, she's THE guru. She gave us options without making us feel pressured, and worked with our budget to provide us a phenomenal ceremony and reception. Talking to her was always a breeze and so much fun, I mean - we sent each other memes and gifs! She is so personable and her work is amazing, having been published and recognized in several blogs and magazines, you can't go wrong with At Your Door Events. Vendors love her, we love her, and I have no hesitation to recommend to anyone in need of any type of planning services. -

Jenny was a LIFE SAVER. My husband and I hired her for day off wedding coordination but she was so much more. She helped us find a few of our vendors and even loaned us a beautiful tablecloth for our sweetheart table free of charge. Jenny was a total pro and so on her stuff that several members of the bridal party commented to me how impressed they were. At one point during the reception, my mother, who has been the de facto wedding coordinator at several family weddings pulled me aside and said "Thank you so much for hiring Jenny." She really made everything so easy and stress free and there were so many small details that were really thoughtful. As soon as my husband and I walked out of the ceremony, there was someone waiting for us with glasses of water and a few appetizers. During the reception, Jenny was constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything. I can't recommend Jenny and At Your Door Events enough. They made our special day even more perfect than we thought it could be! -

Where do I begin? Sara and her team were absolutely amazing!! Every step of the way Sara was there for me and had an answer for everything. Although our wedding was a bit unusual in format, she went with it and made our day absolutely PERFECT in every way! This is the day a little girl dreams of her whole life and she nailed it! Everything part of our day was perfectly timed and seamless! We had not a care in the world other than dancing our hearts out and enjoying every second of our wedding! Which we did!! I am a bit of a control freak and I had not one issues with handing her the reigns completely. And she did not disappoint! Even to this day she is a kind and thoughtful person who thinks of us in the smallest of ways! I couldn’t imagine anyone else helping me plan such an amazing and important day. Initially I wasn't planning to use a wedding planner, but our venue required us to have a day of planner at minimum. They recommended Jenny from At Your Door Events and we decided to use her. In hind site, I am so very grateful that the venue had this requirement and that Jenny was so wonderful. We only used her for "day of" planning, but she was very helpful with recommendations from the moment that we met. The wedding day went off without a hitch despite the fact the we started a little late b/c so many guests were stuck in traffic. Jenny gauged it just right and we didn't lose too much time. Everything else throughout the evening was seamless, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. An added bonus was the fact that Jenny is fluent in Spanish and she could translate at points during the reception since my in-laws don't speak English. I highly recommend Jenny and At Your Door Events!!

Jenny and Sara of At Your Door are insanely talented, helpful, and professional. Having them to help me plan and coordinate my wedding was so, so great. They both definitely know what they are doing and put together what everyone in attendance has repeatedly told me was the most beautiful, well-done, and overall amazing wedding they've all ever been to. Every little detail was thought of and the theme that they created for us fit so perfectly with who we are as a couple and came together to be even more spectacular than I had imagined.
Throughout the entire planning process, Sara and Jenny were incredibly helpful for me with not only the bigger picture of the event, but also all of my silly little questions and advice for how best to include our whole families. They calmed my nerves many times about things that weren't even their concerns, because that's just how thoughtful and kind these two women are. I am still reeling with awe and gratitude over the day that they gave my husband and I.
If you are looking for the best, most dedicated wedding coordination & design team, you simply must go with At Your Door Events. They will give you a day beyond even what you dreamed of. -

We are more than thankful that we had Jenny on our team for our wedding. She not only allowed us to simply enjoy our wedding day worry-free, but also made sure every detail was checked off and ready to go leading up to the big day. On the biggest day of your life, it can sometimes be hard to let go and leave the details up to another person. But from day 1, we knew were in great hands with Jenny and our wedding could not have run more smoothly. Jenny was so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were nothing but blissful through our entire wedding. Jenny was in charge as our wedding coordinator. She is very friendly and helpful. She's very prepared and professional too. On the day of our wedding, the make up artist didn't show up for re-touch of my make up. Jenny took out a bag of make up from her luggage, which was very helpful indeed. I'll br happy to recommend her to anyone who need a wedding coordinator. -

If you are looking for the BEST of the BEST you have found them. At Your Door Events was absolutely amazing and my only regret is that I did not hire them sooner! I fired my wedding coordinator two weeks before my wedding and my venue coordinator gave me AYDE contact information. When I called Jenny answered the phone and said she was available and we hit the ground running from that moment.
Jenny is so professional and is a no nonsense kind of person when it comes to the vendors which I needed since I was having issues with some of my vendors. However when speaking with her bride and those involved in the planning she is so warm and friendly almost like family. She was always available anytime we needed her! And if there was an issue you better believe Jenny was on it. I just cannot sing her praises enough!! If you need a coordinator please, please do yourself a favor and hire these girls! Jenny and Sara really do know what they are doing.
Oh and on the day Jenny came equipped with a black suitcase emergency kit that had everything you could think of and a basket of water and snacks :) ----the little things!

My husband and I worked with Sara for our wedding, and we could not be happier! I think the most telling evidence of her success is, when after the wedding people asked me "did anything go wrong?" I could honestly say "nothing!" If there were any snafus or problems, my husband and I did not hear about them and did not have to worry about fixing them. Sara and her team were on top of everything.
During the planning process we found Sara to be positive, engaging, and unbelievably helpful. We went to her without a strong vision and she helped us narrow down our options and make decisions we were both happy with. She navigated the opinions and requirements of our families and us with grace and good humor. Her connections with vendors was tremendous and helped us get great deals. I am most grateful for her having introduced us to our DJ - honestly the best DJ in the business!
Leading up to the wedding day, Sara was outstanding in her communication, both to us and to our vendors. She created a detailed timeline of events for the day and made sure every vendor had a copy. She also reached out to each vendor the week before the wedding and confirmed their details and timing, which helped the day run smoothly.
I really can't say enough about her positive attitude - during the stress of wedding planning, she kept us laughing and helped us focus on the important stuff. Sara's the best! -

We had the privilege of working with Sara Holland for our wedding on August 9th, 2014. Our wedding was especially challenging due to the number of guests (about 400!) and due to the specific vision our families had but couldn't necessarily communicate in an organized way. THANK GOD FOR SARA! She kept everything moving forward and was extremely organized. The best part was that she kept the entire process light and fun when we started to stress out. Whenever we made a request, she always said "No problem!" and that was that. She can handle very large weddings without breaking a sweat. We were very pleasantly surprised with how smoothly everything went the day of the ceremony. We would highly recommend At Your Door Events. -

Sara and her team feel more like highly prepared friends than a planning service. Sara is invaluable and beyond compare. If I had to do it all over I would not pnky hire her for day of coordination but also as a full time planner start to finish. My gratitude knows no bounds. The short - At Your Door Events and Jenny were amazing, cheap at twice the price and we would highly recommend them.
The long - We hired At Your Door Events (with Jenny being our head coordinator) on short notice after we realized our dual Indian and Western ceremony would be too much for us (the bride and groom) or our family to coordinate ourselves.
With only two weeks notice we met with Jenny who quickly impressed us with her extremely professional and organized manner. She spent two hours with us going through every detail, making sure she had everything she needed to do a perfect job.
Jenny was always available to us, and quick to respond to emails. She even responded to a panicked 2am email within a few minutes when we had a minor problem a couple of days prior to the wedding.
On the big day Jenny arrived at our hotel earlier than out contract stated and quickly began working her magic with her two highly professional and well trained assistants. She made sure all our items were taken to the venue, coordinated our hair and makeup people, made sure the Wedding Party, our Videographer and Photographer were in the right place at the right time. Knowing we would forget to order food, she even made sure we had a sandwich platter at the hotel and venue for the Wedding Party.
Jenny carefully choreographed both the Indian ceremony and Western ceremony and thanks to her hard work they both turned out perfectly. Jenny, along with her assistants were constantly working behind the scenes to make sure everything went perfectly. There wasn't a moment when I saw her or her assistants doing anything but working.
During the change from Indian to Western outfits my father (the father of the bride) realized he had forgotten his suit trousers at home. Panic ensued, but Jenny was the calm in the eye of the storm. I cannot say enough great things about Sara Holland and At Your Door Events! I purchased the Day of Planning package and my only regret is that I did not purchase a bigger package! Sara was extremely helpful in reviewing my contracts…in fact, she caught that I was missing flowers for someone and saved me not only embarrassment but also the sadness that would have come about had it not been caught. She kept my somewhat preoccupied family on track during the wedding rehearsal. I cannot even express how much she helped out on my actual wedding day. She helped get everyone’s flowers to them and assisted with getting the photos taken. Sara kept the wedding and the reception on track. There was not a detail Sara did not help with! There is no way we could have gotten through the day without her! -

Sara is, in a word, AMAZING! My husband (then at the time, fiancee) and I had worked to plan out most of the details for our 7am beach wedding and breakfast reception before hand and realized that it would be to our benefit to have someone help us the day of. We found Sara and didn't look back. She is warm, caring, quick to respond to email/text, and is super creative! She listens to you and the ideas that you have for your special day and helps to bring those ideas into a beautiful reality that make for a truly memorable day. Her expertise was incredibly helpful in her advisement to us of things we had not thought about prior - especially in coordinating a day where everything from the ceremony site to the breakfast reception had to be set up quickly and efficiently within two hours time. Sara and her team did it all with incredible ease. Sara is truly a warm soul whose professionalism and flexibility in meeting your needs is unparalleled. -

Jenny and her crew were absolutely a life saver!! I started as one of those DIY brides, totally confident I could pull off everything myself flawlessly. Then I started reading up on brides that sounded a lot like myself whose life was made easier with a wedding planner. I got connected with At Your Door Events, and from Day 1, Jenny was on top of everything! Our wedding incorporated all kinds of tiny details from me and my husband's history together, so I'm sure it seemed a bit scattered thematically to outside eyes, but Jenny understood everything and even suggested ways to take some of our ideas to the next level.
Jenny and her crew of two (Stephanie and a guy whose name I forgot) were punctual the day-of, and again, 100% on their game. Our homemade centerpieces weren't made to account for a windy day, which it was, and stuff was blowing everywhere. Jenny gathered the troops (volunteer friends & family) and figured out a way to keep everything on the table. I had a dress change during the reception, and Stephanie helped me focus, switch dresses, look cute, and get back to dancing so fast that no one noticed I was away! My family does a shot of whiskey whenever all the cousins are together, and Stephanie made this happen without missing a beat. The guy on Jenny's team was a great worker, helping to set all our lighting up (we had lighting everywhere).
Jenny and her team are true wedding professionals and a dream to work with. They have the tiniest details covered and are ready for any emergencies that are bound to happen! A lot of our guests later told us our wedding was one of the best parties they'd been to! The young kids were entertained, the teenagers & adults had a great time on the dance floor, and the older folks were comfortable. We could not have had such a great wedding without Jenny and her crew. -

I just renewed my vows with my husband of ten years this last Novemeber 7,2009. Karla was such a huge help. She made all my dreams come true. My husband and I had nothing to worry about. She took care of everything. She brought things to my attention that i never knew you needed for a wedding and when I added a few things into our program last minute she made it happen without any problems. All our guest were amazed at the decor and every little detail she did. She had soo many great ideas. I told her the colors that we wanted and the feel that we wanted our guest to feel. She ran with what i told her and gave me so much more than i could have imagine. To all the brides out there i recommened a coordinator. I work full time with two boys in sports and i didn't have time to also plan a wedding. The one thing I do miss is that i don't get to talk,email karla on a regular basis. We knew Jenny was our girl from our first meeting. We described a pretty messy plan in an even messier email - we wanted to do brunch, for people to play games and dance in the daylight. We wanted it to be casual but still formal enough that our families would appreciate it. And most of all - we had a very tight budget that was not going to budge!!
We made a deal with Jenny that she would be our day of coordinator, but also assist heavily in the month before, AND give advice in the year leading up to the wedding. We would need help with some vendors, but would do some leg work ourselves. For all this, she gave us a rate that seemed almost illegal, and she worked 100x harder than we ever expected.
We found our venue, but she walked through with us and asked the questions we didn't know to ask. We knew our menu, and she found a caterer and negotiated the price for us. We would handle the invitations and decorations, but she gave us tips and advice along the way. For a full year, it felt like Jenny was our full time assistant. She recommended DJs, officiants, hair and make up, photo booth and rental vendors and looked over all the contracts we drafted and told us when we were off track.
The day of was incredible. We made our own elaborate centerpieces and cut our own table runners. We had about 50 picture frames we wanted displayed around the venue, a chuppah to build, a slew of lawn games to set up and an unconventional ceremony layout. We thought Jenny and team would freak out, so we labeled boxes and bags to the best of our ability, put them in a rental van and crossed our fingers. When we arrived at the venue the morning of the wedding, Jenny and her team of magical elves were in full worker bee mode and within 2 hours, everything looked exactly how we had imagined it - if not better. At the end of the night we just walked away. We totally trusted Jenny and her team to clean up and get everything back to us and they totally did. It was like a dream. -

We used At Your Door Events for partial wedding planning and day-of coordination for our wedding at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach.
Sara is the BEST! The venue assigned her to us for day-of coordination but we also chose to hire here for partial planning. We relied on her for a ton of behind the scenes legwork and coordination with our venue. Leading up to the wedding she helped us with guidance and planning, as well as coordinating with the various other vendors we needed to hire. She was also there even just as emotional support during a very stressful process which was invaluable. I will say that at first there were occasionally delays in getting responses from her, but I think this is due to her being so busy because she's very in demand. However, it was not a constant thing and mostly went away as we got closer to the big day.
And wow. On the day of the wedding Sara really showed the extent of her ability and talent. We were absolutely blown away by her professionalism and how she managed to juggle so many crazy things at once. I truly felt like we were watching a master at work, and as far as day-of coordinators I'm convinced Sara has no equal. Every little thing was arranged and handled perfectly, and we always knew what we were supposed to do and where to be thanks to her. Of course with such a complicated event there are many people involved all working together, but I have no doubt that our big day went so smoothly because of Sara. Honestly we were so happy to have her on our side and I would 100% recommend her to anyone needing planning and coordinating services. -

From start to finish Sara and her team were flawless. Not only were they super friendly, but the night went so smoothly! I would recommend At Your Door Events to anyone! Working with Jenny was amazing! She took the time to really get to know what we were looking for and how we wanted to show our love on our special day. I felt so well cared for and Jenny made sure everything went off with out a hitch. At Your Door Events works with you to create a timeline and keep you on track. We started planning very early so it was long gaps between talking so we would recommend talking to them and planning closer to the date instead of a year ahead. -

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Sarah. We hired her as our day of wedding coordinator and she was so helpful and a joy to work with. When we did our venue walkthrough she had great input and ideas. From the week of to the day of the wedding she not only made our dream wedding come true, but she also made me feel relaxed and that she had everything handled. When she noticed I was getting a little stressed she was quick to calm my nerves and did so in such a sweet and genuine way. I am so grateful. Best wedding investment!!! -

We hired Jenny Goodman for partial planning for our wedding in May of 2015. Jenny is knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. When we inquired about vendors, she was great and referred us to great vendors who provided great service and were within our budget. She was also incredibly flexible and generous with our meeting time and went the extra mile to meet with us as much as possible to make our wedding a success. Finally, she contributed some great reception items at no cost because she knew that they would fit well with our vision and she wanted to help us in that way.
On the day of the wedding, she was wonderful. She worked hard to ensure things went smoothly and stayed calm when unexpected events occurred. Overall, my husband and I were very happy with how our wedding day turned out. From our experience, Jenny was great for consultation and day of coordination and we would highly recommend her for these services! -

We were so happy to have Sara as our day of coordinator for our wedding. She made sure that the day ran smoothly, and we could relax and enjoy our wedding day.
As a part of our day of services, Sara also provided support during the planning stages of our wedding. She met with us a few times to go over the timeline and answer any questions we had. She was able to give us tips on where we could save money, and stay within our budget. Sara even came with me to my final dress fitting to learn how to bustle my dress since my bridesmaids were all from out of town. On our wedding day Sara was very professional, prompt, and very attentive to the bride. The groom hoped for a little more communication pre-ceremony.
Overall we loved having Sara as our day of coordinator and would highly recommend her to anyone! -

My wife and I worked with Jenny from AYDE and had a wonderful experience. Her and her team provided amazing service that exceeded our expectations.
We were looking for a day of coordinator to help facilitate logistics with our vendors and make sure everyone was where they needed to be on time. We worked with Jenny before the wedding to make sure we were on track. She was extremely helpful and provided great advice. In addition, she helped us put together a checklist of all the items we needed to complete. She worked with us and our reception event staff to put together a timeline. She also contacted all of our vendors (e.g. transportation, florist, etc.) the week before our wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page. This was extremely helpful because we had a lot of family and friends visiting that week. In addition, Jenny was extremely helpful in finding us items that we needed. For example, we were able to borrow a beautiful cake stand from her for our event. Jenny also provided a detail timeline to all of our wedding party and family at the rehearsal to ensure everyone knew what they needed to do.
The day of the wedding is where her and her team went absolutely above and beyond. They picked up lunch for our entire wedding party. The team setup photos that we had throughout our reception venue, coordinated our cake vendor and florist in setting up at the venue, made sure our transportation was well coordinated, and made sure our wedding party and family made it on the transportation on time. Jenny was also a great buffer between our reception venue staff and us. The team also cleaned up after our reception and returned everything back to our hotel or to the vendors.
My wife and I needed a day of coordinator and got more than we expected. We do believe it was somewhat expensive but it was definitely comparable and worth the cost. We would absolutely recommend AYDE to anyone.

I had a wonderful time working hand in hand with Jenny from At Your Door Events. She was very detailed and organized every step of the way. The wedding turned out fabulous and everyone had a good time. At Your Door Events makes the planning process fun and exciting, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to plan an event. -

Let me begin by saying how thankful I am for not giving this company one dime of our money. Our hotel package comes with a coordinator for our wedding so we were paired up with Jenny from At Your Door Events.
I still remember the day we were told a coordinator would be provided to us- I had asked the hotel contact if I had any problems with the coordinator, could we choose a different one than the one assigned to us... but she had reassured me that no bride had ever had a problem with any of their coordinators. SIDE NOTE- If you are getting married at Hotel Maya in Long Beach and are assigned this company- demand for another coordinator! It wasn't until our group tasting that I had noticed that there were multiple wedding coordinators that were assigned to each couple from different companies. I wish I had followed my instinct and asked for another coordinator but I figured- it's free... how can I complain with free?
There were multiple red flags that I had noticed but decided to shrug off... from not responding to emails in a timely manner to promising me a list of vendors via email that was never sent. I get that life happens, but as a professional who does this as their business, I expect professionalism, not excuses.
I am not one to complain, if you ask anyone about my personality, I am quick to shrug things off and not let a situation ruin a whole experience. I knew something was not right when my husband had to calm me down at the end of the night when Jenny and her team said goodbye. I definitely was disappointed in her and had to let her know. I did not envision being upset and disappointed at my own wedding, let alone from a supposed professional vendor but I was warned from family and friends that it would never be perfect. I just wish that I had done my research more and asked for another coordinator. -

Hiring At Your Door Events was the worst mistake. Do yourself a favor, and search for a planner who really cares!
As maid of honor, I helped my cousin plan her wedding in Cerritos, CA. She was finishing med school on the East coast and didn't have the time.
Jenny and I FaceTimed my cousin and her fiancé in our initial meeting and talked about what we needed help with. We talked about Jenny's prices and although my cousin was on a tight budget, she agreed. She suggested started right away (January), instead of in February but for an additional charge. I really didn't think we were that behind, since the main vendors were booked already. However, her reaction worried me so the bride and groom booked her starting January..
There's so much to say but the main points:
1. She in fact did not start in January. She claimed she would and did but she didn't.
2. WE COULD NOT GET A HOLD OF HER.
3. I kept asking and asking for missing vendors that we were "so behind on".. She didn't even book them until weeks before the wedding!!
4. Wedding day- she was unorganized and useless and LATE!!
A planner is supposed to take the stress away from the planning and your big day. But all Jenny did was add to it. Please just save your money and DIY.
