Amazing experience with Cindy as our officiant!
Cindy made our wedding ceremony so special. She worked with us to personalize each part of the ceremony to be our own, and provided direction and guidance to our wedding party and family at our rehearsal and on the day of. She also helped with giving us direction to get our marriage license, and took care of dropping it off at town hall after the wedding. She was so warm and also very professional. I cannot say enough about how incredible it was working with Cindy. She prepared the most beautiful ceremony script for us in a "choose your own adventure" style which was so great for my decision fatigue :) We could tell from the first meeting that Cindy is extremely experienced and we'd be in great hands on our big day. She even came to our ceremony rehearsal which was so great for calming our nerves and making sure we knew exactly what the plan was. She is also extremely polished and put together, which is just what you want in a wedding officiant. Cindy has a unique way of connecting with people- I felt like I had known her for years! Cindy officiated our wedding on Block Island last weekend. From our first meeting, we knew Cindy would be the perfect officiant for us. Cindy offered ideas to help us customize our ceremony, but was also very flexible with any changes we wanted to make along the way. Since we didn't have a rehearsal, before the ceremony she sat with us to make sure we both felt comfortable and guided us throughout so we knew exactly what to do. She ensured the whole process went so smoothly from beginning to end. 5 STARS! Finding Cindy was the best thing we could've done for our wedding day!
A wedding can be plenty difficult to plan. Since our first encounter, Cindy has been so pleasant and easy to communicate with. We were able to express our wishes, as well as our concerns. She wrote up a beautiful ceremony that truly expressed our love. But what made it so special was she was able to weave intricate details of our love story into our catered ceremony which felt so intimate and unique. I cannot express how worry-free Cindy made me feel. She gave me plenty of options and felt comfortable tweaking anything I didn't feel right about. I didn't have to think too much of anything on the day of. I was a bit nervous (of course) but I nailed my lines thanks to Cindy!
She's very professional and dependable, and coordinated with my vendor team, no problem. The ceremony/wedding day couldn't have gone better. Cindy is such a sweet person and anyone would be lucky to have her as part of their big day.

Cindy was incredible!
There were definitely a few "what do we do here?!" moments (Did I 100% forget to look at my now-husband during my vows? Yes. Did we 100% forget how to walk back down the aisle after we tied the knot? Yes.) but overall the ceremony was so beautiful! Cindy did such an amazing job giving us quiet prompts to keep us grounded and on track throughout the ceremony.
Cindy was also great during the planning process. She gave us a few ideas (having our wedding party displayed in a horseshoe formation, having a wine box ceremony, and including some secret "Things I Love About You" highlights during her speech) that made the whole ceremony feel special & unique.
After the ceremony we delighted in hearing that our guests loved elements from our ceremony and hadn't seen those in other ceremonies before! I can't wait to get the footage back from the videographer so we can experience the full ceremony together instead of the 5% we actually retained that day.

Cindy was an outstanding officiant and so wonderful to work with in planning our wedding ceremony! Our original wedding was delayed 2 years due to COVID, and we were so thankful that Cindy was able to accommodate us on our new wedding date when we rescheduled. Throughout our (very long) planning process, Cindy was incredibly responsive and flexible. On our wedding day, we ended up making a last minute change to our ceremony due to windy weather, which Cindy accommodated without any issue. Most importantly, Cindy helped us to put together a very personal and touching ceremony that we and our guests absolutely loved. And she made the entire process extremely easy and enjoyable for us (which was much appreciated given the many stresses of wedding planning). We highly recommend Cindy - she truly helped us to create the perfect wedding ceremony!

Cindy came recommended to us by our DJ! It's always awesome when some of your vendors have worked with one another before. Cindy was excellent! She was always extremely responsive and made everything very easy with the process of creating our ceremony. She spent time on the phone with me the week of the wedding to go over all of the final details too! The day of, she was there early and was very calm which helped me because I was so anxious! Cindy had wonderful readings and we had a beautiful ceremony and wrote our own vows. I would recommend Cindy to anyone who is looking for an officiant for their big day!

When I first spoke to Cindy on the phone her voice was very soothing. She was kind, professional and to the point. Most of our conversations were through email which was convenient. We met in person one time per our request and she made it easy possible to do during the midst of a pandemic. She captivated our guests at the ceremony as she delivered our vows. She went above and beyond to calm me down when she noticed that I was nervous and made the whole process effortless. All of my guests were complimenting and inquiring about her. Words can't describe how thankful we are for the way Cindy conducted our ceremony. From the moment we first spoke with her, we knew that we wanted her to be our officiant. Amazing Officiant!
We used Cindy from a recommendation from our venue and she did not disappoint. From when we first spoke to her to the day we got married, we stayed in contact going over our “script” for the ceremony. She did a perfect job keeping myself and my husband calm before the ceremony even with the rain. As well as keeping our bridal party, Dj and planner following all of her cues. I would 100% recommend Cindy for anyone’s wedding!

My husband and I got married on July 31, 2021 after two previous postponements. From the moment we met Cindy--and throughout the planning/postponing/re-planning process--she was professional, helpful, flexible, and understanding. She gave us many varied options for the ceremony and it was lovely to work together on crafting a ceremony that felt like "us." On the day before the wedding, Cindy was prepared to help us through our wedding license and took care of submitting all of the final paperwork. She was key in helping the rehearsal run smoothly and efficiently and always kept things light and positive. Amazing officiant
Cindy was a dream to work with. With Covid and travel bans and family not being able to make our wedding, we decided to elope 3 weeks before the day. Cindy was recommended to me by my photographer and couldn't have been more perfect. She incorporated our setting and elements of our love story into our ceremony, she had absolutely no problem getting up at an ungodly hour to get to our sunrise wedding, She stood out in a casual thunderstorm as we said our vows...this lady is amazing I couldn't have been happier to have her marry us. Perfect ceremony! Cindy is the best!
We found Cindy as our officiant through Wedding Wire. I have to say, there is no one better suited to have officiated our wedding than Cindy!
Throughout the process of determining how our ceremony would go Cindy was extremely punctual, calming and insightful. It didn’t take long for Cindy to latch on to the relationship Sami and I had, and help to deliver the best ceremony we could have asked for! Honestly, we even got compliments afterwards from our guests about the ceremony!
Cindy was so nice to work with. She saw that Sami was nervous about our wedding and assured her that everything would be okay. She made an announcement to our guests that I would like our ceremony to be ‘unplugged’ and for everyone to turn their phones off and to just enjoy the ceremony. She even was so kind to step aside for when she announced us as Mr & Mrs for that perfect first kiss photo at the arbor.
Cindy had a wonderful template put together of many different speaking scenarios for us to choose from. Each one different from the next. She was very organized and had all the answers to our questions. She even took the time to read our vows beforehand too.

Great experience at a reasonable price!
Cindy was very friendly and easy to work with. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we did not meet in person until day of, which we maintained social distancing. But we discussed our needs and communicated via text and email beforehand and up until the ceremony. She actually gave us some wonderful ideas for ceremony locations because at the time we weren't sure of anything other than the fact that we still wanted to get married. Cindy was very professional and knowledgeable and told us everything we needed to know about getting our marriage license, etc. so I felt more at ease about the whole process. The ceremony went off without a hitch and my husband and I are now happily married.

Perfect Personalized Ceremony
Cindy was wonderful to work with! With the craziness of COVID and being on different sides of the border, my (now) husband and I went through the almost impossible feat of trying to plan the wedding of our dreams in less than 2 weeks. Cindy was a huge part in helping us make this happen! She was recommended to us by Lavender Waves Farms (beautiful location)/TMW (Tarah Warner) Productions. Within minutes of emailing Cindy she responded, and within hour we hopped on a zoom call and virtually met. Cindy captured the essence of our relationship in that 1 hour; she had also provided several recommendations (eg, where to take pictures closeby). Within a few days, she had also sent us a Google Doc with options and beautiful suggestions that she felt reflected our relationship for what would be said during the ceremony. WE LOVED THIS! We loved being able to choose what was said and to add little sentimental inside jokes and memories throughout that Cindy ended up sharing. This made all the difference and made the ceremony extra special. Beyond this, Cindy made herself flexible that day when we were worried about rain and kept her day available so that she could make our ceremony earlier. Cindy was warm, affectionate, and accommodating. We are so grateful for all she did in making our special day (during a most surreal time) as romantic and magical as it was. THANK YOU CINDY!

The perfect ceremony
Cindy created the most perfect ceremony that was so personal and everything we could have ever wanted. She was so sweet and made the process no stress from the beginning. She showed up early the day of and took care of making sure the license was signed and made sure all the details were in order. The ceremony was so beautiful and went seamlessly because of her. She even knew all the little details to be able to get the best photos (including jumping aside right before our first kiss so she wouldn’t be in the background!) Cindy submitted our license so quickly that we actually had it mailed to our address across the county and was there within a week of our wedding! Thank you Cindy, you were incredible.

Cindy zito is the best
Cindy was an absolute delight to work with, and our ceremony was perfect! She worked with us to incorporate personal reflections into the ceremony (because we were too nervous to speak our own vows) and was on top of all the details so we didn’t have to worry about anything. I also learned after that she even did some breathing exercises with my nervous husband before the ceremony. I had guests tell me after how great they thought she was. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Very highly recommended
My husband and I would highly recommend Cindy as a wedding officiant. She was extremely professional, put us at ease for the details of the ceremony, and made the ceremony flow in the most amazing, funny, and sincere way. She was the one that was always following up with us, making sure we were timely and on the right track, while I was the one doing that with every other person and vendors. It was great piece of mind knowing she was responsible and had the most important part of the day under control. We received SO many compliments from our guests, everyone asking who she was, where we found her, singing her praise. Thank you Cindy, you were truly one of the best parts of our day!!

Best officiant
Cindy Zito was the absolute BEST! She provided us with confident and comforting direction from the moment we arrived right up to the Kiss your bride! She's a consummate professional and made our ceremony more special than we could have ever hoped for! We would recommend her 100%!

Beautiful ceremony
Cindy did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony. She was always available by email or phone. Months before the ceremony she sent us options to choose from, so we had plenty of time to plan exactly what we wanted our ceremony to look like. She also recommended incorporating a love letter/wine box into the ceremony, which was a great idea! The day of, she arrived at the venue an hour ahead of time and made sure she met with my husband and I (separately) to go over all of the details. She made us feel so comfortable! All of the guests commented on how nice the ceremony was. Cindy was the perfect choice for us!

Ceremony that was perfect!
Cindy was WONDERFUL! She wrote out several options to choose from for our ceremony to make it extra special. My wife and I had chosen to do a “Celtic Warming of the Rings” that we had never heard of before. Cindy had suggested this due to my wife having Irish heritage. Of our ceremony that was our favorite part!

She made this process so easy
My (now) husband and I were looking for an officiant for our non-denominational wedding ceremony, and Cindy was highly recommended to us by our caterer. She was great! I contacted her via email and she got back to me right away. We set up a time to talk on the phone and she went over everything with me. Soon after, she sent us a wedding ceremony template that we could cut and paste to create something customized to us. She made sure to check in periodically to make sure she hadn't missed anything that I had sent her (which was refreshing, since so many other vendors required me to be the one to follow up); and she offered guidance while still allowing us to make the ceremony exactly what we wanted it to be. We had a rehearsal too, and she arrived at the ceremony location early to let everyone in and was able to rally our (somewhat unfocused) group and make sure everyone knew where they needed to be on the day of the wedding. My aunt made me a wreath for the wedding day, and she even took that home with her on the night of the rehearsal so she could hang it up on the chapel door when she arrived on the day of the wedding. She EVEN (with the help of the DJ) broke into the chapel through a window for us on the day of the wedding, when it turned out that the previous user hadn't returned the key to the lock box the day before. And overall she was just a lovely person who was easy to work with and who put our minds at ease throughout the entire wedding process...we would highly recommend her to anyone!

Cindy was the officiant at my daughter Vivienne's wedding on September 22, 2018. She was absolutely the best choice we ever could have made for this very important job. She created a beautiful ceremony so personalized to the bride and groom and also took into account the location( Block Island ) as she included a Blessing of the Sea at the end of the ceremony. Every one at the wedding was asking for her name and were so impressed with how truly special she made the marriage of our daughter and son in law. She was prompt, clear with instructions to all the wedding party and made it the best day ever!

I can't say enough about Cindy. We received many complements on how beautiful the ceremony was. She gave us several readings to choose from that were all fitting to us. She made suggests on how we could incorporate our children into the ceremony. Which was super cute. She was extremely reassuring to us and walked us and our boys thru every step.

Cindy was amazing. She was very responsive and was very patient with getting our responses to questions. At the actual ceremony Cindy was very helpful. Obviously my emotions were running high right before the ceremony and Cindy was very accommodating and calmed me down. She did a great job speaking, not tripping over her words at all. Cindy is amazing! She officiated our 10/7/17 wedding and we couldn’t have asked for someone better. Any questions we had were answered within hours and she kept us on track with our ceremony throughout the entire planning process. Cindy saved my wedding! My friend was going to be the officiant and unfortunately cancelled 5 days before my wedding. Cindy jumped into action and sent me sample ceremonies before we even hired her because she want to make sure I had options for our day regardless of who performed the wedding. We recently had Cindy officiate our wedding in Newport, RI and I can not say enough good things about Cindy herself and her services. Cindy is very professional, calming and kind.
