The catering team at Ashling was absolutely incredible. We truly cannot recommend them enough.
First and foremost, thank you to Karla and the entire Ashling team for helping make our wedding day truly perfect.
From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and everything was executed seamlessly. We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was, which came as no surprise to us :)
Karla was an absolute joy to work with from day one. She immediately understood our vision and provided us with the perfect menu options right from the start...we only changed one item! When we requested a change to one of our appetizers choices, she was so quick to make it happen!
Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care made the entire planning process stress free and enjoyable. Every message/email was met with a quick and friendly response, and a willingness to help in any way that she could. Working with her really allowed us to relax and know that everything was in the best hands on the catering side.
One of the most impressive parts of the day was how smoothly everything ran. Seeing Ashling work alongside our other vendors, felt like seeing a team that had done this together for years. The coordination was effortless, and the day could not have gone any better.
We are beyond grateful to Ashling for being such a big part of the best day of our lives.

We're so glad we went with Ashling for our wedding! They were absolutely lovely to work with, very communicative and clear, and always willing to answer a question over email. They were especially helpful with the specialty drinks we wanted, helping us figure out the best way to go about it (we wanted specialty drinks that could be mocktails and cocktails), how to organize it, what materials we needed, etc. They removed a lot of confusion from the whole equation!
They were also very flexible with the food itself, and were focused on making sure we were happy with every element of the food throughout the evening. Any change we wanted to make at the tasting was met with an easy, "of course!"
Additionally, I had a cookie table at my wedding that my aunt put together, and Ashling was so helpful in figuring out the logistics and helping to refill the cookies throughout the evening.
I definitely recommend Ashling! -

It is worth noting, before getting into the meat of the review, that the food was terrific. Everything came out just right, Ashling worked with us through multiple changes and back and forths, and we couldn't have been happier with the dinner service!
What really stood above and beyond, though, was the little stuff. Anything we threw at our contact and day-of coordinator, Karla, was handled with care and grace. She deserves a special shoutout, because she was such a huge help to the entire process. Couldn't have asked for a better caterer! -

Ashling was absolutely incredible top-to-bottom! Exceptional service and quality at a completely reasonable rate. So many options - all of them fantastic - from A to Z including appetizers/cocktail offerings, dinner, and dessert. Their cake options were also incredible and they delivered us a fully customized (and delicious) cake with no hassle to be had.
I want to give a particular shout out to Karla. My fiance and I had never planned any major event - let alone a wedding - and to all you prospective planners out there I know how overwhelming it all must seem. Karla was so responsive and engaged from the very first email I ever sent her and her professionalism and warmness combined with what Ashling has to offer was absolutely fundamental to our ultimate choice in caterer for our wedding.
And then came the tasting! We went not really knowing what to expect but we certainly didn't expect to feel the total relief about every aspect of the wedding that we felt afterward. Karla had EVERYTHING mapped out. We walked out of that tasting not just knowing the food for our wedding would be delicious (and it was) but we had a timeline in hand, a map of exactly how our venue would be set up, clear direction on how each major part of the reception would flow - it was incredible. Karla made us feel we were in such expert hands and she absolutely delivered and then some.
My wedding day is going to live on forever as one of the happiest and most beautiful days of my life and Karla and Ashling were a huge part of making that possible. Do yourself a favor - book them today and breathe a huge sigh of relief! -

Ashling was AMAZING! Karla was wonderful, super communicative and such a fun personality - was immediately at ease meeting her and our planners said the same thing! Her and the Ashling team went above and beyond to make sure the evening went without a hitch, even helped our coordinator decorate, and the food and drinks were delicious - every guest told us how wonderful their dinner was! 10/10 recommend :) -

When we booked Cloisters Castle for our medieval fantasy D&D wedding, they provided a list of their most trusted vendor recommendations — Ashling catering was far and above the best we could have hoped for! Danielle was our coordinator, and from day one, she helped my partner and me bring our magical themed wedding to life. I appreciated that she was on board with the theme and excited to help us imagine ways to make the space work for us. We booked a tasting with Ashling right away, and got to try all the delicious foods from their chef kitchen. For protein options, we went with parmesan salmon or roasted duck, paired with cheesy grits and broccolini. The flavors were so tasty and we were super impressed with Danielle’s recommendations and advice. She really knows exactly what pairs best with each dish, and we put our trust in her to guide us. Danielle also walked us through table set up, floor plan and dining options — everything was very organized and professional. As the venue itself has so much charm and decor — we really focused more on the dining and experience, and Ashling really came through for us in the best way. On the wedding day, Karla helped coordinate all the logistics, serving and set up. Guests loved the details of each table, how everything was arranged, and the flow of the space, all thanks to Karla and the Ashling team. At the end of the evening, Karla let the team to break down the space and clean up, so my partner and I didn’t have to worry about anything else as we left for the after party. I had no idea before I got married just how much work and effort a catering team does to make a wedding so special. Ashling is truly the magic sparkle behind the scenes. We can’t thank Danielle and Karla enough for being there for us, their kindness and their willingness to go above and beyond to make our day amazing. Delicious Food, Exquisite Service
We could not have been happier with Ashling!
First off, the food is absolutely incredible! Our guests absolutely loved their mini-crab cakes and their other hors devours were huge hits as well! The Braised Beef Short Rib is exquisite and the Whiskey Glazed Chicken is to die for!
With Ashling, you get more than just excellent food, you get unbeatable service as well! Danielle and Stacy are fantastic catering directors and exceptional to work with! They are responsive, detail oriented, meticulously well organized, knowledgeable, and also just cool people to work with. They took time to get to understand our vision for our dream wedding and made sure to help make it a reality. Working with such amazing professionals took a lot of stress off our plate which is a HUGE plus when planning a wedding. We cannot thank them enough!
A few other things that set Ashling apart for us. 1.) They were hands down the most responsive caterer we contacted when we began this process. To us, this was huge because it helped us feel at ease knowing that we would have an attentive team down the stretch. 2.) They were the only vendor that offered us a free tasting before signing a contract. This gave us an opportunity to try their delicious food before putting money down and also made them the first vendor we spoke with (And really no one else came close after that). 3.) They let us provide our own alcohol. This helps with cost, but it also allowed us to choose the craft beers we wanted, which was important to us.
We 100% recommend Ashling for your wedding or any other catering event!

A month out from our wedding and guests are still complimenting us on our food! We went into wedding planning with the opinion that all wedding food is terrible. The amazing team at Ashling sure changed our minds! Danielle and Stacy were helpful, kind, and communicative every step of the planning process. I’m happy that Ashling has a restaurant so I can now eat their delicious food whenever I want! -

Ashling catered our June 2023 wedding in Baltimore, MD and we can’t recommend them enough. Stacy and Danielle are patient, kind, creative, responsive, flexible. They were receptive to all of our ideas and questions. They knew the venue inside and out. They were calm and collected when we were just a complete mess. They and the catering support staff transformed the space into exactly what we’d dreamed of for over a year. The food the Ashling cooking staff prepared for us and our loved ones was delicious and beautiful. It was such a gorgeous meal. Really talented, friendly, professional folks work at Ashling. -

Ashling was absolutely amazing for every step of our wedding journey. When we first found them, we read great reviews and their food looked delicious but my fiancé wanted to taste it before we booked them. I told ashling that and they gave us a sample tasting which included cocktails and the most incredible food all while Stacey and Danielle spent the time answering questions and telling us what the wedding process would look like. We were blown away and signed the contract that day. I was a bit worried, as a gluten free bride, about what our menu would look like but they were so accommodating and being GF was no issue. We were blown away and signed the contract that day. I was a very detail-oriented bride and when I asked Stacey and Danielle questions or told them my pretty specific vision, they didn’t make me feel like a bridezilla but rather welcomed everything I said and took note of it. Communication was excellent! They didn’t just provide food for us, they made sure our day ran smoothly once they arrived and they covered every little detail beforehand with us. My family and friends, a month later, are still raving about the food and all of our vendors told us it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We didn’t want boring chicken and potatoes for our wedding and Ashling truly provided a memorable meal for us and our guests. Ashling set up our wedding beautifully (welcome table, bar, dinner tables, etc.), the food was delicious, and most importantly, we felt so taken care of on our wedding day.
I would recommend them a thousand times over! Thank you, Ashling for making our day perfect. We can’t wait to come back for dinner! -

We absolutely loved working with Ashling for our wedding! Stacy and her assistant, Danielle, were so incredibly helpful and responsive every step of the way. After an initial tasting, we felt so confident in the team, and delighted with the food, that the decision to choose Ashling was easy. Throughout the year of wedding planning, whenever we had a question or idea, Stacy was quick to respond and if the answer couldn't be a resounding "yes" for any reason, she was quick to suggest alternatives that might meet our vision and our budget. They kept us on track with planning, helped us build a timeline and asked great questions on things that weren't on my radar at all, things that truly exceeded the responsibilities of caterer. They even used a different table rental vendor than they typically would, added on my special rentals (like the sweetheart table) to prevent me from having to pay two different rental company's delivery fees - truly above & beyond their scope! I had full trust in Ashling's team to execute on the day of and they went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were served, always had a drink in our hand and all in all happy. We couldn't have been happier with the food, the team or the experience with Ashling and would absolutely recommend to any couple! We can't wait to eat at Ashling for anniversaries in the future :) -

So professional and the best wedding food I’ve had
I was the maid of honor for my sisters wedding and Ashling was the best part of everything. Leading up to the event they were extremely professional and coordinated, sent several reminders and helped get the right info out of us, before we even knew we needed it. Planning wise they were amazing. Cherry on top was the food was so delicious, I’ve been to several weddings in past years and it feels like it’s always the same menu somehow but not with ashling. Truffle Mac was a fave! -

One word, SPECTACULAR!! Ashling was absolutely amazing and I can’t say enough praise about them. Being a celiac bride I was extremely worried and stressed about having to find a caterer, but once we found Ashling it was like a breath of fresh air. They were so accommodating and listened to our every need. Stacy was the absolute best and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to work with. And the food speaks for itself! SOOO GOOD! We went the the food truck to cater our reception and served tacos and burgers. They made sure all my gluten free needs were met and helped us come up with the perfect menu! Stacy also helped me with getting a gluten free wedding cake that was so yummy! They really did make our day a breeze when it came to our food and set up. They handled everything for us and were THE BEST! We highly recommend going with Ashling!! And will definitely be making their restaurants one of regular our date night spots! -

Danielle and Stacy were a dream to work with and the entire Ashling team that worked at our wedding was so awesome. Our guests loved the passed appetizers, the food truck/plated dinner, and the bar service. My husband and I were so happy we found Ashling, and they made the planning process a breeze. We were impressed with their attention to detail and thoroughness and I would highly recommend them for a wedding or any type of event where you want some delicious food and top-notch service. They worked well with our event coordinator as well and went above and beyond in assisting with set-up /decor. If not for an event, I would also recommend dining at their restaurant in Crofton. The chef is fantastic and their around-the-world series is so fun! We are so happy with how it all turned out and are so grateful to Danielle, Stacy, and the rest of the team for helping to make our wedding a beautiful and memorable event. My only regret was not formally thanking them during our "thank you" speech during our wedding. They are 100% worth it! -

There are no words that could capture the excellence that was experienced working with the Ashling. Wedding planning can be a huge task, but working with a team as talented as the Ashling's made it an absolute breeze. We met a total of 3 times and had maybe 10 conversations along the way ( PS I have never worked with such a responsive vendor, I don't think I ever had a response come more than 48 hours later!) we were shocked to see our dreams had been completed exceeded on the day of our event.
Friendly staff, BEAUTIFUL location, price point transparency the entire time and the most kind hearted owners. We were so in love with our experience with the Ashling, we are currently working out the details to have them at my sister's wedding!
Something else worth noting, the place is SPOTLESS!
In lieu of the traditional 150+ person dinner, we chose to hold smaller sessions all day long to contain germ clusters. Not only did the magnificent Ched Ahmed let us build our menu based on milestones from our relationship but we also had guests from all over feeling completely comfortable as the Ashling staff worked non-stop cleaning, fully covered in PPE, with rapid response sanitization for our guests maximum comfort. I truly credit our wedding being completely free of a Covid case in the following weeks to the attention and detail the Ashling showed our guests. Bridal showers, catering, a drag brunch show, just a dinner, or your whole wedding there is not a single thing that I would not recommend working with the Ashling on. -

Ashling was THE BEST choice for our wedding!!! We can't recommend them enough. Stacy was with us every step of the way as we considered Ashling among other vendors, but equally did not pressure us to choose Ashling. Once we committed with Ashling, Stacy was communicative via text, phone, and email. She also worked as a psuedo-wedding planner, as we often approached her with questions beyond food options and needs. During the wedding reception, Stacy served as the point person for our wedding party and took care of EVERYTHING. Honestly, we did not have to worry about anything because of Stacy's team and their focus on high quality and full service.
Beyond the service, the food was PHENOMENAL. Every single guest we spoke to after the wedding mentioned the food right away. Ashling accommodated dietary needs and provided suggestions for the style and mood we were looking for. It was difficult to pick which food to serve during our tasting, because it was all so delicious. We HIGHLY recommend the mac & cheese and the risotto! And, Ashling also provided our dessert (a cutting cake and cupcakes), which our friends could not get enough of. We loved Ashling's food, and working with Stacy in particular. We can't thank them enough for taking care of us from the beginning! -

We worked with Danielle during our wedding planning, and she was fantastic! She was always available to answer questions and provided amazing service! Danielle kept our schedule on track and personally made sure my husband and I were taken care of during the wedding. My wedding guests still rave about how amazing the food at our wedding was. We went with the food truck menu, but still had a seated and served dinner which was great mix of casual and formal. The food was INCREDIBLE and the staff was so friendly and attentive. The presentation of the food was also beautiful, everything looked as good as it tasted!
Our only complaint was that the bar was sadly a little understocked. The bar ran out of our signature drink around 2 hours into the reception, and soon after they ran out of cherry grenadine too which hindered their ability to make certain mixed drink. This was definitely a bit of a disappointment since our drink was REALLY good, but not a mood killer. I will say, this is when Danielle absolutely shined again. When she noticed the bar was low on our signature drink, she had them take it off the menu and saved the remaining servings for my husband, myself, our parents and our wedding party. I cannot express how truly grateful I was to have Danielle by my side all night. She was amazing!
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Ashling. Great food and drink, fantastic service and amazing staff! Thank you, Ashling, for helping us have an amazing wedding!Ashling's reply:
