Ashley was fantastic to work with for my June wedding! She is so talented, trustworthy, a great communicator, and adaptable. She was very patient with me and doing multiple hair and makeup trials since I was a bit indecisive! On the day of the wedding, herself and her team made everyone look gorgeous! She made myself, bridesmaids, and the moms feel like the best versions of themselves! Also, it is worth mentioning that it rained on the day of my wedding, and our hair/makeup held up! Speaking of the rain, Ashley was also such a calming presence while getting ready, which was exactly what I needed in the rain panic. Couldn’t recommend her more for all your wedding beauty needs! -

It's hard for me to put into words how effortless Ashley made the entire hair and makeup process for our wedding. Booking, scheduling, communication, and all the logistics were such a breeze. She answered all my questions and I felt so pampered for both the trial experience and on my wedding day. We opted to do hair and makeup at our hotel prior to going to the venue, and then took photos getting ready/accessorized and final looks so everyone felt like their best selves prior to any photos happening. They worked with 7 bridesmaids, our moms, and even grandma!
As for the hair and makeup experience - the trial run was such a treat! I felt so pampered and like she knew was I was asking for even better than I could describe it. We used photos as references but she tailored everything to the shape and colors of my face, it felt so specialized.
On the wedding day morning, she and her team were absolute perfection. She curated an amazing team that were such a pleasure to work with. They were fast without making any of my bridal party feel rushed and they had such attention to detail. I felt so beautiful and I can't thank her enough.
My sister in law has Ashley booked for her wedding this year and I am so excited to work with her and her team again!!! -

Leslie Sent on 12/20/2017As stressful as it gets planning a wedding out of state, being able to find a good glam squad can add to the stress. You want to feel and look your best! Being from Dallas, TX my fiance and I were really limited on our trips to Colorado to wedding plan. We were referred by one of our groomswomen to work with Ashley Smith. After reviewing her website we were drawn to her wedding looks & professionalism. We booked a trial during our next trip and immediately booked her for our wedding after that! Ashley is very talented, beautiful and sweet. She takes a lot of pride in her work and she put my needs first. We decided on a half up look and after a month or so I decided to wear my hair all down. When I contacted her she was completely cool that I changed my mind. We didn't do an additional trial but I knew after seeing Ashley's work it would be fine. My hair turned out amazing, I loved the curls and how my hair looked down with the veil. My bridesmaids and goomswomen all loved their hair -- we looked and felt beautiful and we owe that to Ashley Smith!!

Would hire again!
Ashely and her team did hair and make-up for my small wedding party and I still can’t get over how amazing we all looked! I’m a pretty minimalistic gal when it comes to makeup and she did a great job making me feel glamours and pretty, but not overly done or like I didn’t look like myself. Ashely is also just a delightful person to spend the day with. She was calm and collected while keeping us on our timeline and delivered a truly gorgeous end product! -

User2376059 Sent on 10/19/2015I have waited over a month to write this review because I had hoped my disappointment and anger over Ashley's service would have subsided. It has not. Although there was an email confirming that my bridal make-up would start at noon and my hair would begin at 12:45, I received a text from Ashley the morning of my wedding indicating that she would need to leave to get to another wedding at 12:15. If you are a bride, you can imagine how stressful this would make your wedding morning. It was terrible to think I would only have 15 minutes (!) for my bridal hair and make-up.
During one of my trials, Ashley advised me that she had two weddings booked for my day. Although, in my opinion, it was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL to book two weddings in one day, I asked her when the other wedding was supposed to start in order to ensure there would not be a conflict. She told me it was an evening wedding, so there would be no problem.
Obviously, there was a problem. Given the time constraints, I feel that she did not spend sufficient time on my hair or make-up and that I could not ask her to stay longer to correct these issues. Consequently, my hair did not even last until my ceremony (which started at 3:30 - hair was done around noon) and I was having to re-curl it myself moments before walking down the aisle.
It saddens me to think that I gave this woman hundreds of dollars and that she was so greedy/immature/unprofessional as to book another wedding so close in time to mine. It truly turned what should have been a fun, relaxing morning with my bridesmaids into a difficult and stressful situation. I would highly recommend avoiding this woman at all costs.
