My husband and I so enjoyed working with Ashley!!! She has the friendliest personality and really knows how to capture every moment that’s important to you. You can tell that she really loves to do this and it shows in work. We’ve been married for half a year and still love looking back at our photos. They bring back all the amazing memories from our special day! Ashley was easy and great to work with. We had many conversations, so she could 1) get to know us (I loved that, she wasn’t a stranger at our wedding) and 2) she knew exactly what to capture. I recommend every couple to look into working with Ashley Mckenzie. -

Ashely was super easy to get along with and takes amazing photos. We had a destination wedding in Colorado and feel very lucky to have found a photographer that was so easy to be around. The engagement photo session was also great as it gave us an opportunity to get to know Ashley before our actual wedding. It was also good practice for me (since I don’t love being photographed, ha). -

After my husband and I got engaged in March of 2018, I knew in the back of my mind that I wanted a photographer that I knew and could trust. We contemplated back and forth about a few people, but deep down I had to go with Ashley and my husband agreed! I have known Ashley for a very long time and couldn't think of anyone else to make capture these perfect moments of love through a picture. She had a vision of doing our engagement photo's in Old Town, Fort Collins because that is where my husband and I met. The photos turned out amazing and were in awe of her professionalism and how she wanted to capture the love underneath the downtown lights! We had our wedding in June of this year at CSU's Canvas Stadium on a rainy day, and she absolutely KILLED IT with all the photos that she captured! When she says she has a vision of how she wants to do your photos, TRUST HER, she knows what she is doing and you will be amazed at the outcome! She is the best photographer and we couldn't be more happy/grateful for how awesome our photos turned out! Thank you, Ashley! -

Go with Ashley and you'll have zero regrets!
If you’re not sure who to hire for your photography needs- Ashley McKenzie is your answer. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew we had made the right decision. She made our engagement session extremely fun and relaxing, which was super nice because my husband and I had no clue what we were doing. We chose to do them downtown Fort Collins on a busy Friday night. It was insanely windy and Ashley was able to capture heartfelt moments in the most creative places. It felt like we were the only ones around when in reality, it was bustling with people. Ashley was speedy getting our engagement photos to us, which was really helpful because we were a bit late in sending Save the Dates. She’s a lifesaver! Ashley was also instrumental in planning our timeline of events. She gave suggestions and input when needed and was extremely supportive in making our wedding special. When she arrived on our wedding day, I instantly felt more relaxed because she was calm, yet excited for us. It was like a long-time friend was there who just happened to have amazingly creative skills. Ashley was able to capture the most special moments that we will cherish forever. I am not sure how to put it into words, but wow, she is talented. If it's not enough for us to absolutely love each picture and moment, we constantly get complimented on our photos. Friends, family, friends of friends, everyone makes comments not only about how wonderful our pictures turned out, but the feeling and meaning that comes through them as well. I could keep going about how wonderful Ashley is, but all you need to know is that she is talented beyond measure, and has a heart of gold that shines through in what she does. -

The best choice you'll ever make!
We hired Ashley to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. Our engagement photos were breathtaking, and our wedding photos were truly magical. It was so easy to take photos with Ashley, she was caring, funny, and compassionate. She was able to get us to relax and just have fun, and that really showed in our photos. They looked naturally beautiful and never posed. The day of our wedding went perfectly, Ashley worked so well with the schedule of our wedding. We never felt rushed or behind. I can't tell you how many of our family members complimented her after our wedding. They complimented not only her photos, but her overall presence and professionalism. When we got our photos back we were surprised by how many were so up close and detailed. We were surprised, in the best way, because during the ceremony we never saw her. She is a stealthy photo ninja! Picking Ashley to take your photos will be the best decision you will make for your wedding. -

I never had to worry about anything with Ashley. She made my wedding day a DREAM, and was able to corral my crazy family for picture too! I loved her punctuality during the whole day, making sure we stayed with the timeline!! Her picture are light, airy, and effortless❤️ I’m so happy I chose Ashley as my photographer, and now she’s my photographer for life when I need pictures! I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and I got so many compliments that my pictures were amazing! If you want the best photographer, choose Ashley. I promise you won’t be disappointed. -

Ashley is awesome! She is so nice to work with and such a nice person. She was incredibly patient with our crazy wedding party and was able to snap some amazing photos of our big day. We would highly recommend her for your wedding or event! -

Ashley is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My wedding day did not go as planned as my ceremony site was unavailable due to a helicopter rescue and if Ashley was stressed out I never would have known . She kept her cool, offered many suggestions and plan B's and was fluid and flexible. My guests were so grateful to have a calming presence during a stressful time. Also, I got my sneak peek photos less than 24 hours after my wedding. That is literally unheard of!!!! Ashley, you're amazing. Hiring you for my day was the best decision I could have ever made! -

I can't say enough great things about Ashley. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she was easy to communicate with and super nice. We picked Ashley for our wedding photographer because she is an absolute master of difficult lighting and even though my husband and I not always the most photogenic people, she made us feel completely comfortable and all of our photos came out looking really natural and not forced at all. She's the best! -

Incredible in EVERY Way
Ashley was amazing from start to finish. We heard about her through a friend, who raved about how fun she was to work with. We felt comfortable with her immediately and through the entire process: phone call, engagement pictures, wedding preparation, and our special day. Ashley calmed our nerves and truly walked us through creating a timeline and setting the tone for the day. She guided us through our photo wish list and truly took the time to get to know us. She was also instrumental in helping my husband pull off the most incredible surprise to cap off our wedding. We couldn’t love her any more and recommend her to EVERYONE. She is the best of the best and an absolute joy to work with. Our engagement and wedding photos are everything we could have hoped for and so much more. Both her talent and heart are beyond belief. -

Ashley did our engagement photos and wedding photos! My husband and I are from Michigan and had a destination wedding in Estes Park. Our first time meeting was the day of our photos and it felt so comfortable and natural!
On our wedding day there rain was on the radar for the exact time our photos were to begin. We had to completely switch around the schedule and she was SO helpful as I was already a nervous wreck and felt like I couldn’t make decisions that day. She made me feel so great about myself and handled a large obnoxious wedding party with such patience!! -

From the moment, I got in touch with Ashley I knew she was the photographer for us. She is so much more than an amazing photographer, she honestly fit in like family on our special day and felt like a longtime friend. When my search began for photographers I browsed all over trying to read reviews all the way from Florida planning a wedding in Colorado. The moment I saw Ashley’s art and the passion that shows in her photos I was HOOKED. I also connected with the way her previous clients raved about her technique and professionalism. I contacted her with excitement and the fear of it not working out to book her for our day, but boy did my husband and I get lucky. She caught everything and more that day and like I said earlier fit right in doing so (: Ashley was so accommodating fitting in a day after session with us before we flew home and we explored all over Estes Park with her. She has “the eye” for capturing the perfect shot and she made us feel so comfortable both the day of and after. We have breathtaking photos we get to cherish forever, thank you Ashley for being the BEST at what you do!

My husband and I are from Wisconsin, so doing a destination wedding in Colorado was a lot to plan. Ashley helped us every step of the way, making sure our large wedding party had lots of fun but also stayed organized. She captured every detail of our special day with her unique and artistic style. Ashley knows the Rocky Mountain National Park well, and she helped us pick out the perfect spot for both our engagement and wedding pictures. The photos are seriously breathtaking!! We could not be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Ashley to any Colorado couples looking for the perfect photographer.
