Ashley is THE best!
It's not possible to say enough good things about Ashley and her team. They are simply incredible. Not only is Ashley an incredible photographer, her pictures speak for themselves, she is also super knowledgeable and connected in the wedding industry.
Ashley was super detailed, listened to what I wanted, and delivered an incredible gallery. A bonus of working with Ashley was her knowledge and advice of the wedding world. I ran a lot of ideas passed her (big and little) for her honest feedback! -

Ashley, Amber, and Kenzie were the perfect people to capture the beauty of our wedding day! From the first day I met Ashley and Amber, to weeks later when we received our final gallery, they made the process as smooth as possible. I could never thank them enough for going above and beyond to make our wedding day stress free. Every question I had leading up to the wedding was quickly answered and Ashley was so willing to give any advice she had. Our photos are a wedding gift we will treasure forever. Thank you for a wonderful experience. When Wes and I decided to get married, we knew we needed a photographer, but we didn't really have any ideas beyond we wanted pictures for our wedding. Throughout this whole process, you have been so great at guiding us and giving us ideas. We will have hundreds of memories of this wedding, and so much of that is thank you!
You never stopped scouting, looking, and hustling to find new and wonderful places to make new, cute and fun memories. Your passion for photography and for making a wedding special is incredible and shows in every bit of the work you've done with us.
You made us feel so special and gave us such a fun engagement shoot and wedding memories. We can't thank you enough for the great job you did. We're so happy you were the photographer for our wedding.
We talked beforehand about what we wanted the pictures to look like, what kind of style, color and feel we wanted. And we got everything we asked for and more. We've both looked over our gallery dozens of times since the wedding. We've teared up, giggled, and smiled at all the amazing memories you captured for us. You were perfect! -

Ashley is the only photographer that I interviewed. We were suppose to meet for 45 minutes and we sat together for almost two hours. We laughed and connected and we also cried together during our first meeting because she had so many great ideas for the wedding. I lost my mom last year to cancer and Ashley had so many amazing ways to help bring in memories through her photographs. I didn't want to interview anyone else because she and I just clicked.
I also love that in Kansas City all of the vendors have worked together. So when I told my venue that I was working with Ashley they were super excited. Coming from out of town it is nice that I know my vendors get along and respect each other. Ashley has been a bride in the area and knows so much about everything. I email her with questions like, "what have you heard about so and so?".
When we met Ashley for our engagement photos in June, the evening could not have gone any better. She was so natural in how she positioned us, how she talked to us and how she made us feel comfortable. The photos look effortless. My fiance is very shy and she helped bring him out of his shell. It was awesome to see how she interacted with him so that I can help him on our wedding day.
I cannot not recommend her enough. I have co-workers, families and friends comment on how beautiful our engagement photos are. This just makes me even more excited for my actual wedding day!

Perfection!
Ashley is the perfect photographer for your event! She first starts by reviewing any pictures you have saved on Pinterest to get any extra poses you like. While taking your pictures she makes it such an enjoyable time, even for people who don’t enjoy their pictures being taken! The top thing she has done for us is to make sure we had the exact style of pictures we wanted. She sent us several previews before our album to make sure we would be truly happy with our pictures! She is friendly, efficient and gives you great quality for your money! -

Hands Down the Best Photographer We Could Have Asked For!
I cannot say enough about Ashley Ice and her photography. She takes beautiful photos and is so professional during the process; she helps gently corral your family and in-laws, and suggests fun poses to help keep your mind off of the mist and cold when it is raining on your wedding day!
Aside from her talent, Ashley is personable, friendly, and down-to-earth. She genuinely cares about you and your partner and the process. She cares about what you want, and she wants to make sure you have a good time. Ashley is not only a photographer, but she's also a wealth of knowledge and resources! She provided so much advice to me from the very beginning and throughout the process, including suggestions for photos and vendors. I really appreciated being able to text her any time with questions or whenever I just needed to voice some wedding planning woes I'd been having.
Having Ashley there the day of our wedding was like having a trusted friend behind the lens. I knew that Ashley would do a great job and would get great photos of our wedding, just like she did for our engagement session. I highly suggest Ashley Ice, you won't be disappointed!! -

Ashley is simply amazing, If there was a way to rate her more then 5 stars I would! I met her at a bridal show last year and from that moment she has been nothing but considerate, helpful, professional, and has made the whole process fun!
My fiance and I were nervous about taking engagement photos because we have never done a shoot before, Ashley made it fun and laid back and the photos are absolutely amazing! Everyone who has seen them can't believe how great they turned out. I cant say enough good things about her, absolutely fabulous! -
Lauren Sent on 07/04/2018Ashley is perfection. I had the most amazing engagement session with her. She is extremely personable and very responsive. Everyone who looked through the photos where so impressed with her. My Dad even said "Wow, I just can't believe how perfect these turned out, there are too many good ones." In my two hour engagement shoot, we had 3 outfits and went to over 5 locations. From the pictures, it looked like we spent the entire day shooting. She was more than willing to have our two dogs in the photo shoot too :). She was able to get their attention easily and snapped my favorite photo. Each photo was amazing, which made it hard to pick two for my "Save the Date." I love her Dark and Moody edits and she was able to accommodate that for me. Thanks Ashley! Can't wait for the wedding!

The customized package she made for us was not only within our budget but included everything we were looking for. Other than photo tips, she also was super helpful with wedding timeline planning. You can tell that she really devotes herself into helping all of her brides. She has a ton of connections for wedding related services that comes in handy. For example, she was able to find the perfect videographer and bridal hangers for me last minute before the wedding. If you hire her, you will be the luckiest bride! At least, that's how I felt. Thank you, Ashley! -

Let me tell you, my fiancé hates getting his picture taken and during our engagement session, Ashley was so fun to be around and made us both feel comfortable! I cannot wait till our wedding day so we get to work with her again!!

Katrina Sent on 12/04/2017Ashley did our wedding in November. She was just amazing! We had originally planned on getting married in January, but we decided to elope instead! She worked with us and gave us 4 hours on the elopement date on short notice. Not only did she do that, but she got our edited photos back to us in time for Christmas cards. She was responsive even when she had a busy schedule. Highly recommend! If you want to have fun and not worry about family members, wedding schedule, or getting amazing photos... hire her! :) -

We just got our engagement pictures back and we LOVE them!!! We had a perfect day for pictures! My fiancé is really shy and Ashley was great with both of us. She made us feel super comfortable and look great! Ashley is very creative and worked with us to creative more artsy and creative shots! I can't wait to see what she does on our wedding day!!! -

Mariah Sent on 01/04/2024My wedding regret? Hiring Ashley Ice Photography.
Of all the wedding decisions I made, my only regret is hiring Ashley Ice Photography. Here's why:
For starters, she was rude. My entire wedding party complained about how she treated them. I did notice a lack of 'bedside manner' throughout the planning process but I told myself that I could put up with off-putting social exchanges if it meant I would receive beautiful photography in return. But honestly, her day-of behavior was a masterclass in how not to treat the wedding party, and for this alone, I wouldn't dream of re-hiring her.
But that's not even the worst part: I made it clear during our planning sessions that one of the most important elements of our wedding photography were our family photos. When we received the link to our gallery a couple months after our wedding, we were so thrilled to peruse the photos but were shocked and confused when we didn't see one single family photo. Then I noticed we were missing photos from entire scenes from our wedding day. When I asked Ashley what was going on, she replied: "Great question! I forgot to include that information. The family photos got corrupted somehow." (So, it didn't occur to her to share this news? Did she think we wouldn't notice?) She says she attempted to retrieve the files but to no avail. Seven months after our wedding, she comes back with "solutions". We could get a free photo book. Or $550. Or a reshoot of a family photo, but when I asked if she was going to fly my family in from Wisconsin, I never heard back 🤷♀️
To add insult to injury, she did attempt to photoshop some photos but I'll spare you the agony of witnessing those comically bad attempts.
Thankfully, not all our photos suffered the same fate, and I do want to say that her second photographer, Amber, was very pleasant throughout the process - no issues there.
Ashley has curated a beautiful Instagram feed - I'll give her that - but when you dig a bit deeper, you'll be left with an outrageously unprofessional photographer with poor processes and not much else. My recommendation: Look elsewhere!
