Okay so this vendor review has me all type of emotions because I picked my Cinematography/Videographer soley based on their website; i actually googled vendors in NY/LI because I am from NJ but was getting married in LI and had no idea where to start - and I stumbled upon their website. I could tell from their page they would be AMAZING as well as the type of people I wanted around me on the big day!
I am so so so happy I choose them Keri, James, and their daughter Ashley! They are not only three of the kindness, caring, most hardworking people I have ever met but you can actually feel how much they love what they do! I met with them over the phone and their attention to detail was incredible! When i met them day of I literally thought I hit the jack pot - they provided full day coverage from start to finish had to be almost 12 hours of work or more & were able to provide me our wedding video in less then a week! The transitions, music and moments captured I am forever grateful for , there are no words!! Less than 3 weeks and they provided me all the raw footage as well - literally INCREDIBLE! They were the best decision I made for our wedding!
Not only was the work amazing but so were their personalities and I could not have asked for better people to be with me on such an important day. They brought a calmness and were able to get my photo/video hating husband to participate with ease (and that is not an easy job and they did it with huge smiles) I could not stop hugging them, they were incredible! My entire family loved them and have not stopped raving about them to everyone we know!

My husband and I reached out to Keri & James to help film a very special day. My parents were unable to attend our wedding in Hawaii due to my dad having serious medical complications which eventually lead to a heart transplant. We wanted to ensure we celebrated with my family back in New York and arranged a backyard celebration with friends and family on Father’s Day Weekend. Needless to say, it was a very emotional day as my dad and I had our walk down the aisle and father-daughter dance. We couldn't have asked for better videographers to capture such special moments. Keri & James were professional, easy to work with, sensitive to the situation and any requests we had and quickly provided the most gorgeous video that we will treasure forever. They truly captured the essence of our story. We cannot recommend working with Ashley Film Studios enough – they are a couple that you can trust with capturing your most important memories! Keri and James made us feel at ease from the first moment we met them. Unlike other videographers we had met with, it was obvious how much they enjoy what they do and their priority is the couple’s story. This clearly comes through in the beautiful videos they created. While filming, they were unobtrusive yet were still able to capture many moments of the day. They both made everyone feel comfortable and there were many times we forgot they were there. Before the wedding, they reached out multiple times to ensure they were well prepared to produce a film we would enjoy for years to come. Before booking with them, James said they typically get the videos done in less than a month. I found this very hard to believe as most videographers can take six months or longer. We were blown away with not only the quality of the short and longer film, but the speed in which we received the finished products. Our short video was done within a week and the longer one less than two weeks after the wedding. We cannot say enough good things about Ashley Film Studio! -

If you haven't booked a videography vendor for your wedding or special event yet, RUN and reach out to Ashley Film Studios! From the initial emails and correspondence with Keri and James, I knew that they would be perfect for us to work with to capture the special moments of our wedding day. They are the sweetest couple and really love what they do! They are also determined to give you the best and you can definitely see it in their work! I booked them early on in the pandemic and I am so thankful that I did! The planning process was seamless and they really listened to what I was looking for in regards to my vision of how I wanted the wedding film to be. They arrived early on our wedding day with their daughter Ashley, and really got to know us and our families throughout the day. I never felt like they were "in the way" and they worked so well with our photographer. They are super friendly and so easy to get along with! We received our feature wedding film less than a week after our wedding and each time I watch it, I tear up! They really captured the emotion and love we felt on our special day! We got our raw/documentary edit the week after, and I teared up again! I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding extra special and for the memories that they helped to document on film! -

We had our wedding last Friday, 9/17/21, and had Keri, James, & Shannon of Ashley film studios capture our magical day ! I can’t even begin to explain how happy we are that we chose them ! Our wedding like many others had to be postpone due to covid, but the amazing team at Ashley film studio made postponing so easy. They were great to communicate with, they answered every question I had within hours of me emailing them and the day of they were just perfect ! The sweetest people you will ever meet, super easy going, & very creative ! They had my short 3-5 min film to me within 4 days of the wedding and my documentary only a week after ! They really love what they do and you can see it in their work ! I would recommend them for any & every event you have !! -

7/11/24 Wedding! If you are looking for a videographer for your big day, please book Ashley Film Studio. Since the first conversation we had, my husband and I fell in love with their passion and attention to detail. We always felt in the loop and never had to worry about any details with the video because they had it all covered. We had an amazing time working with Keri, James, and their daughter, Ashley. They were all professional and made our big day such a wonderful experience. They went above and beyond by being on time, coming to two different locations, and making sure they captured every moment we wanted. We love the videos and how they truly captured the love between my husband and me. We truly could not have booked anyone better for our big day. -

Ashley Film Studios did an outstanding job capturing our special day. From start to finish, their communication was fun, friendly, creative, and incredibly supportive. You NEED to book Ashley Film Studios for your wedding—without a doubt the best decision we made! From the very beginning, Keri and James were warm, professional, and passionate about capturing our story. On our wedding day, they made us feel so comfortable and at ease, and their presence was such a calming and positive part of the entire experience.
The films themselves left us speechless. The short film alone was everything we could have dreamed of—so beautifully done, capturing every emotion in such an authentic way. It felt like us in every frame. We didn’t think it could possibly get better… and then we watched the full documentary film. Absolutely breathtaking. It brought happy tears, huge smiles, and so many laughs. Every detail, every reaction, every little moment we might have missed was preserved so perfectly.
