Gorgeous floral, supportive vendor

Michelle flawlessly executed my vision TWICE (because we were a COVID-impacted couple). Throughout the traumatic ordeal of postponing and re-planning, she was flexible, patient and kind. Truly an ideal vendor. We ended up reducing our floral budget by 60% and she still treated us like her top priority clients! She designed a fresh floral backdrop wall and it was STUNNING. Our guests took photos in front of it all night! Despite our modified budget, Michelle was enthusiastic and supportive all the way through.

Meg - the best florist in Chicago!

Meg and the team at Ashland and Addison went above and beyond in their service for our wedding! Meg was highly engaged throughout the entire planning process and demonstrated exceptional knowledge in translating our design choices into a floral dream come true! She was so easy to reach out to and very responsive! We were not the easiest to work with as our design choices kept changing. Meg never made us feel bad about all the tiny detail edits we asked for; we must have asked for at least 20 revisions as our vision of the day kept changing.

During the initial stages of planning, she was the ultimate team player—skillfully combining our design ideas, her expertise, and the input of our caterer. She was an absolute encyclopedia on flowers! She synthesized every favorite flower we had into a highly polished final product that was within budget! When we finally saw the floral displays, they were more beautiful than anything we could have imagined. The floral arch at the forefront of our ceremony looked like something out of a fairy tale.

Meg was exceptional and one of the few members of our wedding team who consistently EXCEEDED expectations. Thank you Meg for being the amazing artist you are!!!

Simply amazing floral!

The floral at our wedding was beyond expectations. Meg from this company was so sweet and delivered on every promise. I couldn’t stop bragging about how beautiful the flowers were at our wedding. I will attach some photos here so you can see but she hit it on the nail with my vision and everything was perfect and on time.

Amazing wedding florals by Michelle

Working with Michelle at Ashland Addison for our wedding flowers was an amazing experience. Michelle was easy to talk to and professional throughout the entire process. She walked us through the flower options that would be in season for our wedding. And she did that three separate times, since we ended up changing our date three times due to the pandemic. The entire time, Michelle took into consideration all our thoughts and preferences related to the flowers and how we envisioned them displayed on our special day. She made our visions come to life and all the flowers looked absolutely incredible on our wedding day! Our experience working with Michelle was perfect and we highly recommend her and Ashland Addison to all couples looking for a reliable and reasonably priced wedding florist!

Daniel the Amazing Florist

When I first met with Daniel from Ashland Addison Florist, he conveyed his vision to me on creating a very colorful ensemble of flowers and décor for my wedding. Rather than have black and white and or muted tones, I requested vibrant colors of reds, oranges, and yellows to make the day feel happy. Using my favorite flower—gerbera daisies—as the base, Daniel created floral designs for three rooms within the event space including a floral structure or chuppah to stand under for the ceremony, different focal points around the DJ, bars, and mirrors, as well as a long runner of flowers that spanned the entire length of our food stations. In addition, Daniel added a turquoise blue runner for the isle, found blue lounge furniture and gold-colored bookshelves to accent the space with candles, and strategically placed lights in various positions to add more warm color tones. However, what I will remember most is the beautiful bouquet of flowers he designed for me—a combination of orange, peach, red, pink, and yellow flowers that made me feel beautiful and magical on my wedding day.

During our walk through of the venue seven days before the wedding, my husband and I decided we wanted to add a bit more to the space. I immediately called Daniel, threw him this last-minute curveball, and asked if this was possible. Rather than shy away from challenge, Daniel tackled it head on and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Family and friends who attended the wedding came up to us and said, “I love flowers and yours were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.” In addition, the lead representative from the venue and caterer said, “I have never seen this space look so beautiful!” I could not agree more and that is a sole testament to the work of Daniel and crew from Ashland Addison Florist.

Ashland Addison's Michelle is my favorite.

I love Michelle.

As a Chicago's Top 10 Wedding Planner, I get exposure to all types of florists and designers. I really love Michelle's personality, her patience, her empathy. I think I switched the designs and concepts on her about 20 times. I pulled one of those, even though I'm a wedding planner. She was AMAZING. She was patient and she made it all happen.

Michelle is also someone that you would just purely want to be friends with :). Ashland Addison always delivers and their florals are fresh. They do well and we recommend them to all of our couples- of course I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a florist that is professional, flexible, and friendly.

Gorgeous Flowers, Excellent Customer Service

Ashland Addison did a wonderful job on our wedding flowers. I wanted a colorful, springy feel, and the flowers were perfect! I can't tell you how many compliments I got. Everyone was expecting the traditional white, conservative bouquets, and the explosion of color really helped brighten up our reception room and added some beautiful framing to the ceremony.

Michelle was very easy to work with, and the team did a great job on the setup. Our bouquets arrived about a half hour early at our hotel, so we didn't have to worry about them for photos. Everyone at Ashland Addison helped make our wedding day as perfect as it could be.

Michelle B. = Floral Goddess

MICHELLE B. is insanely talented and was so much fun to work with! She took an amorphous concept in my head (i.e., an ombre pastel watercolor look) and not only understood it, but expanded upon it and brought it to life.

She was patient and able to work with me on options that could make it more affordable. Moreover, when my planner realized the day of that, the candlestick holders I ordered and mistakenly thought had been delivered were missing, Michelle took care of the problem charge-free (Thank you!).

The culmination of what she composed was utterly phenomenal and gorgeous (so much so, that I have convinced myself that they started the #JoyfulExpression trend 😂)! The floral pieces at my wedding are still one of my favorite aspects of it. Overall, working with Michelle was a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Dream Romantic Winter Wedding

Lori and the folks at Ashland Addison Floral were a dream team. My vision was perfectly captured after a quick conversion and a few photos I shared. The Fairlie looked like a romantic winter getaway, and glowed from the hundreds of candles throughout the venue. Lori has a beautiful suggestion to line the grand stairway with rope lights intertwined with Italian ruscus, and multiple sized candles down the stairs. She stayed within my budget, but also helped provided me with great ideas. My bouquet beautiful, full of white blooms of the season. I’m very happy with my choice to work with Ashland Addison - easy to work with, professional and helpful. Highly recommended!

A dreamy boho wedding

There are honestly not enough good things we can say about our experience working with Ashland and Addison for our NYE wedding :) They were a dream. We worked with Michelle Brown, so she is, more specifically, the dream! I went in with a very specific vision for my wedding: I wanted minimal flowers and mostly lush greens to soften the exposed brick in our venue space. I wasn't quite sure how I'd feel working with Ashland and Addison. They've been in the city forever so I thought they might take an "old school" approach, which was not what I wanted, but I couldn't have been more wrong! Michelle was filling the gaps in my vision and sentences before I even realized it! She was communicative, conscientious, flexible, and offered really great insight to two people who had never planned a wedding before! She got my vision and executed it perfectly. The greens blew me away the day of the wedding. They looked better than I could have even hoped.

Incredible experience from start to finish

Michelle, and Ashland Addison Floral were absolutely incredible. I was a COVID Bride and had to postpone 3 times. During all the chaos my vendors demonstrated true colors, some good, some bad, and working with Ashland Addison was positive throughout. Even during the stress of it all, I was always treated with respect and was reassured that no matter what changes were needed to adjust to the times, they would be able to accommodate. Michelle is a true genius. She stayed true to my budget and everything looked gorgeous! Many guests, other vendors and family members commented on how the flowers were some of the best they’d ever seen. Everything from start to the end was fun and stress free. They even packed up at the end of the evening, and even (for a small fee that was totally worth it,) delivered my flowers to me the next day so that I could use them for my brunch. I highly recommend. I stopped to just take it all in before all the guests walked in because it was so beautiful. Michelle even helped coordinate colors of my table clothes with me and was so helpful and supportive. Such a great experience!!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Ashland Addison for all of your wedding floral needs. They were amazing to work with and much more reasonably priced than competitors in the area. Michelle was a true pleasure to work with. I told her what florals I liked/didn't like, what kind of vibe were were going for with the wedding decorations and details, and she completely delivered on everything I could have wanted and more. We had so many compliments on how beautiful all of our flowers were. Couldn't recommend their services enough!

Creative, adaptable, and efficient - I would highly recommend!

Ashland Addison Florist was recommended to us by our caterer, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our wedding planning was filled with ever-changing variables/flower quantities due to the pandemic, and Veronica and her team were flexible, super responsive, and really helped put us at ease. The Ashland Addison team puts a ton of thought and care into their floral designs; everything on our wedding day looked gorgeous and we're so grateful to have had them as part of our vendor team.

A magical day

I can not say enough positive things about Michelle and her team at ASHADD! From our initial planning meeting (just as COVID was becoming a factor) to our zoom re-planning, to our third pivot to a gorgeous event at a family home, Michelle was patient, meticulous and creative. The team helped bring our vision to life with beautiful flowers, candles, votives and even a willow and white floral chuppah. I was obsessed with my bouquet and truly believed this team helped transform a simple home into a magical wedding venue. Thank you!!

Excellent service

Michelle was amazing!! Our flower arrived on time to our hotel in Libertyville. All of our bouquets and boutonnieres were fresh and consistent with our initial inspiration and requests!! Can’t wait to work with Michelle and Ashland Addison Florist for part 2 of our wedding celebration in 2021.

Couldn't have been happier!

We got married at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago and I really wanted our flowers to look elegant, just like the hotel. Wedding flowers can be crazy expensive and my budget was about $4,000. Ashland Addison really came through. I worked with Lori and she was so helpful. She was always available to address my questions and concerns, and I felt really good with the decisions we made because of how thorough she was. We were so happy with the end result!

Wow. I have used Ashland Addison for personal stuff (apology flowers, Valetine's Day, just because, etc) and I doubt I will ever use a different florist in my life.
Ash/Add was truly amazing to deal with. We had a consultation with Ramsey who was absolutely amazing at taking random thoughts we had and stringing together a wonderful color/flower scheme. They can provide so many other services as well. Vintage-style farm table/chairs for the head table? Check. Massive mirror to use for seat assignments instead of those cheap paper cards? Check.

Also, we decided to go very minimalist with our wedding cake. After they decorated the table (and the cake itself) it looked like we had spent a couple thousand dollars more than we did.

They were so great about getting us the most bang for our buck and gave us great, personalized service. I can't recommend them enough.

We used Ashland Addison for our wedding at Stan Mansion. We were looking for something simple yet unique that was within our budget, and Amy Kelly brought our vision to life!! We provided themed elements for our centerpieces and Ashland Addison created beautiful arrangements that complimented our materials. I really want to send a HUGE thank you to Ashland Addison Florist for the amazing work they did for our wedding at the Union League Club. I highly recommend working with them because they truly want to make your day as beautiful/special as possible.

Ash Add had previously done my sister’s wedding 4 years ago and did a remarkable job then and they continued to WOW us throughout the whole process for our wedding. We worked with Ramsey who is incredible!!! The other florist companies we met with tried to make us fit into what they could do, while our meeting with Ramsey/Ash Add was all about making our vision come true.

Working with Ramsey & his team was one of the easiest transactions from our wedding. We had our mock-up and made a few changes from there. On our wedding day we were completely astonished by what Ashland Addison brought to the table. Our bouquets/boutonnieres were beautiful and Ramsey personally delivered them to my suite beforehand! I was so happy I got to thank him in person!!

The venue where we got married is very old school Chicago/ masculine – when we planned our wedding we knew flowers were going to be extremely important to warm the place up. At the last minute we asked Ramsey to toss some light greenery and votive candles onto the fireplace which was located behind the master table. Ramsey & his team went ABOVE & BEYOND and made the fireplace the focal point of the entire space by adding lush greens, drooping moss and beautiful florals into the arrangement. It was so incredibly gorgeous that couples/guests used it as a backdrop for all of their pictures. The rest of the room was dripped in gorgeous floral centerpieces with cascading moss, full blooms and lush greenery.

Thank you so much Ashland Addison and Ramsey for making our wedding venue everything we could have ever hopped for and so much more! You guys are serious floral artist and I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know My husband and I are so grateful!!

Ramsey and Ashland Addison really worked with me so well and created my absolute DREAM flower design for my wedding. They brought my woodland themed wedding to life with their beyond gorgeous, creative flower design! They are so so creative with the flower and centerpiece design and it all turned out better than i could have ever hoped. I kept sneaking downstairs to see how amazing everything was looking as Susana was setting up all of the flower designs. When my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were delivered to us, I was floored how beautiful they were. The bouquets were what I wanted and more- so unique and colorful and so much texture. The makeup and hair artists told me they were some of the most beautiful bouquets they have seen and they see a lot of weddings. The guests commented on the flowers all night. The birch chuppah for our ceremony was designed perfectly and the mix of tall and short center pieces brought the venue to life. Ashland Addison, Ramsey and Susana were professional, listened, brought what I wanted to life, helped me work within budget and without their flower design the wedding would not have been the same- so unique!! No knowing much about flowers, booking a florist was the most intimidating vendor for me through the wedding process. I had know idea what was going to be in season for an October wedding and if the vendor would take advantage of my naivety. Lauren & team totally put me at ease. When I first met with her, she pulled flowers out from their stock and showed me what I could possibly do on my wedding day. I was impressed by how helpful she was and how she was able to bring my vision to life despite my total lack of floral knowledge. She was really flexible and helped me stay within my budget.

The centerpieces and bouquets were everything I could have wanted and more. I would use them again and again if I had reason to!

Amy K. Took great care of me! Booking for out of town can be difficult but she was so easy to work with! The arrangements were amazing and within my budget! I must admit I didn't think anything could be so beautiful within my budget but clearly I was wrong!!! She was creative and I have minimal direction and she made my day perfect! Even last minute additions and drop off were no problem for them!! Thankful for such an amazing spread!!

The Ashland-Addison team did an amazing job with the flowers for my Rookery wedding. They were respectful of my budget, and I appreciated that they were always enthusiastic about working with me even though I was only interested in altarpieces and bouquets, not a full set of wedding flowers. I never felt like I was getting less attention or effort.

In addition to being easy to work with, their design for my flowers was absolutely beautiful! They were able to take my vague ideas about what I wanted ("Something classic! But not boring! Pale colors and ruffly flowers!") and turn it into a coherent, elegant look. I was sad at the end of the night that my bouquet couldn't last forever - it was that beautiful!

Working with Ashland and Addison Florist and Martha was so much fun. Going through the sample process was great. we were able to get the overall look and feel and cut a few corners with Martha's help. When our wedding came around and one of the flowers wasn't available she offered to take me to the flower market so that I could get the exact look I wanted.

We just got married this past December (12.13.14) and we used Ashland Addison Florist Company as our florists and we could not be happier! We worked with Martha at Ashland Addison, and she did an outstanding job making our vision for beautiful winter decor come to life. We received so many compliments from our guests that our centerpieces at the reception were absolutely gorgeous--I actually had several of my friends take pictures of the birch boxes with the winter floral arrangements so that they could try to create something similar for their own Christmas centerpieces. And my bouquet was simply stunning--a perfect balance of floral and winter elements, I absolutely loved it! We really enjoyed working with Martha--she truly did an amazing job helping us to create the winter decor that I had envisioned. Ashland Addison provided the flowers and lighting for my wedding. I knew that I wanted elegance with natural flowers that would make the room feel classy and upscale but also inviting. Unfortunately, as a lot of brides know, it's not always easy to convert that vision into words. Martha was incredible in terms of helping translate my jumbled thoughts into the most beautiful setting I could have imagined. She's a true artist. I can still remember my jaw dropping as I walked into the walk-through that she put together a couple months before the wedding. At the preview, she obtained linen samples from my venue with options on how we could pull the whole look together. She even had great suggestions for final details and lighting that really made everything pop. We also had large pieces at the ceremony that her team came and moved to the reception, just to make sure everyone got to see the gorgeous flowers again!

Countless people came up to me and commented on the beautiful centerpieces and how everything tied together perfectly. If I needed to do it again, there isn't a thing I would change. I can't recommend Ashland Addison enough and I know I'll use them for any flowers I need in the future!

Ashland Addison was the perfect vendor to work with. The team that designed to the team that installed the decor, it was a smooth and easy to work with company. I was impressed with the over abundance of table decor used. The candles and lanterns, wine boxes, and flowers were gorgeous. At one point we turned off the lights and the candles were bright enough to take us into the night dancing. I worked with Amy at Ashland Addison to plan a GORGEOUS wedding! The hotel asked for pictures of our wedding for their website! Amy went above and beyond. My husband and I were living out of the country up until the wedding, so I couldn't go to the location! We had several conference calls to figure out ideas and options for the space. My husband and I got married on Memorial Day 2014 and used Ashland and Addison as our florist. All I can say, without sounding too sentimental, is that the flowers couldn't have turned out more perfect. My family and I interviewed A LOT of Chicago-area florists (I felt a lot of pressure to select the best florist possible because my mother loves flowers and I knew she wanted them to be perfect) but we landed with Ashland and Addison for a few key reasons: 1) the quality of their wedding consultants/designers stood out, 2) they are a Chicago institution, 3) were able to deliver an amazing look without going over budget and 4) they were extremely patient with me as I was planning my wedding from a different state.

Meghan was my primary consultant during the wedding planning process and she is AWESOME. Very friendly, easy to talk to, and has a great eye for design. I really enjoyed the times I came to the store for a consultation/walkthrough; Meghan pulled out all of the things I thought I wanted (e.g. large arrangement examples, vases, votive candles, etc.) and sat with me as my family and I re-arranged them and asked questions. She demonstrated an amazing amount of patience with us and provided us recommendations on what she thought looked good WITHOUT being pushy or condescending. I felt very much empowered to make the decisions in this process, while of course relying on her expertise. We ended up going with alternating tall and short arrangements, which filled the space of our venue very well.

The day of the wedding couldn't have gone better. The flowers were exactly as I had imagined them. The delivery was on-time to the hotel and Ashland and Addison's staff were very detailed when they set up the flowers/chuppa in the ceremony room. I'm still receiving compliments three months after the wedding! They turned a great venue into a better one with their amazing eye for design.

In all, I HIGHLY recommend them. Bar none.

My flowers were so beautiful. I worked with Meghan and she was so nice! I made changes over e-mail like every month and she was so patient and helpful! She made suggestions and gave me her opinions. I loved working with her. The flowers were delivered on time and were organized in such a great way. I will start by saying I am probably one of the most pickiest people in the world. When it came to my wedding flowers, I knew exactly what I wanted: lilies, orchids and tons of expensive flowers. While other florists were not willing to negotiate my budget or flat out told me they didn't have the type of flowers I wanted, Ashland Addison and their designer Meghan didn't let me down. Meghan was able to find ways to make the flowers I wanted work within my budget, but still keep the ideas and the beauty of what I envisioned for our special day. Meghan also did several special requests and even changed some of flowers a week out. At the end of the night, they even donated our flowers to a local nursing home, since we were leaving for our honeymoon the next day. I would highly recommend Meghan and Ashland Addison to ever bride I know, as I was overwhelmed and so pleased with all our flowers!

I used Ashland Addison Florist for providing the flowers for myself and the wedding party and for the ceremony and reception. They did an absolutely gorgeous job with the flowers. My bouquet was so beautiful I couldn't have been more happy. My two flower pieces that were up front by the "alter" (I put that in quotes because our ceremony was on a boat) had fallen due to winds and the container broke and they did a spectacular job putting it back together and making it amazing again. They definitely know how to work around unplanned situations and come up with a solution on the spot. Meeting with the designer was a great experience. She had great vision and ideas that were amazing and with both of us being so overwhelmed with all the choices we had she definitely made it so easy. All of the staff are always so helpful no matter who you speak with.

Great service, beautiful flowers, AND reasonable prices! I knew from the moment we booked our ceremony/reception at a rustic Italian restaurant that I wanted my bridesmaids to carry bouquets of baby's breath, and have Italian ruscus greens and candles on the tables. Not only was Ashland Addison Florist much less expensive than any of the other quotes I received, but they did not try to convince me to do anything more extravagant or spend more money. On the day of the wedding the deliveries were right on time and everything was gorgeous!

Martha and her team created AMAZING flowers for my wedding at the Newberry Library. I requested a large arch/trellace for the ceremony for us to stand in front of, and they created a beautiful 8-9 ft arch with manzanita branches which they fitted with different off white flowers and floating candles. It fit our romantic and sophisticated feel of the decor in the lobby. For the reception, we went big and bold with jewel-tone high/low arrangements as well as for the bridesmaid's bouquets. With their black satin dresses, the flowers popped and looked utterly amazing. I wish i could post some pictures on here so you could see how wonderful they were! Martha is super flexible, creative and willing to work within your budget. I even asked her for a specific more unique flower (white anenome with the black center) and she was able to provide this for my bouquet PLUS the color ones for my bridesmaid's bouquets. My bouquet was stunning with garden roses, stephanotis, dusty millers, eucalyptus leaves and so much more. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ash Add and plan to use them again for any other flower needs.

Addison Ashland was great from the start. From our first consultation, they were willing to explore our best options and work within our budget. Flowers were a very big deal to me for my wedding on 5/27/12. I had a particular style that I was going for and every florist I met with was giving me outrageous quotes. Martha and Pedro organized our flowers and they were incredibly beautiful. I met with Martha about 7 months before the wedding and, despite the fact that I did not have much of an idea beyond wanting green to be the main color, she came up with suggestions that I immediately loved. She was also extremely flexible when it came to working within my budget and I really felt like she was working with me to make sure I did not spend unnecessarily. I cannnot say enough good things about our florist, Ashland and Addison. We worked with Martha, and she was amazing. The flowers came out exactly the way I wanted them to! I actually cried when I saw the room because it was so beautiful. Martha was very flexible and willing to work with our budget. She was creative in ways we could save money without sacrificing the look that we wanted for the wedding. She was patient through the many changes that I made to the flowers and even arranged a nice "show and tell" meeting for me allowing me to see the way the tables would be set for our wedding. We worked with Martha at Ashland Addison for our table centerpieces. I went in with a basic idea of what I wanted. Martha gave me a lot of creative options and made the look all come together perfectly. The flowers were delivered and set up on time. The whole process was very easy! We got tons of compliments from our guests on how beautiful the flower arrangements looked! Definitely recommend them!

I worked with Martha and was so happy with my experience. The initial meeting was great - by meeting right at the warehouse, we didn't have to guess about what the flowers would look like as she just went and grabbed samples and put together samples right there for us. She gave us tons of options to choose from so that we could find exactly what we wanted and also stay within our budget. Throughout the process, they were very responsive as I made some small changes here and there. On the wedding day, I was so pleased - the flowers were delivered on time with no problem and were absolutely beautiful - better than I even imagined they would be. It was exactly what I wanted, even if I wouldn't have been able to express in words what it was I did want. They did a phenomenal job - I'd recommend them to anybody.

We went to Ashland Addison in Elk Grove and had a great time working with Chris on our flowers. He has amazing vision and created not only great centerpieces, but I was absolutely in love with my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets. He delivered everything early, so there was no stress and everything turned out perfectly. I can't wait to find another reason to work with them! Outstanding customer service and reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed!

Ashland Addison made flowers so easy. Martha immediated understood our vision and came up with very creative ideas. There was no hassle or fuss. The flowers showed up the day of and were simply amazing - more beautiful than I imagined.

Truly exceptional! We worked with Martha and her assistant Jessica and they were absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, flexible, prompt, and knowledgeable. We literally changed our entire contract a few weeks before the wedding and they were know than helpful and understanding! The bouquets and arrangements were gorgeous - they were exactly what I imagined. Everything was delivered and set up on time too. I would highly recommend this company. Some of the rental items are pricey but if you find those elsewhere and stick with the flowers you'll be very pleased!

Flawless. She executed what I asked perfectly with very little direction from me. I only ordered the wheat grass centerpieces, my bouquet and Phils boutonniere from her so it really was not that much and there was no pressure from her at all to spend more. She was very helpful and I changed things on her a couple times.

I went to the Ashland Addison Florist in Elk Grove Village right next door to Jarosch Bakery. I walked right in with a picture of the flowers I want decorated on my cake table and on the cake and the VP knew exactly what I wanted, showed me what he had and got my name and number and delivery date and told me not to worry he knew exactly what to do and worked with Jarosch on setting the flowers on the cake. He did not really go with the picture I gave him, he went above and beyond the picture and created an incredible display far better than any magazine picture of a wedding cake.

I walked in and walked out in 5 minutes. Fastest vendor booking ever. You are in good hands with this company.

They also did our corsages for the Mothers of the wedding party and they were stunning and so fresh and beautifully put together.

I cannot say enough about Martha and Ashland Addison Florist. These people are incredible! I was most looking forward to the flowers in my wedding and they did NOT disappoint. My mom and I met with Martha in March and she was full of ideas already. The minute I showed her my colors, she left and grabbed a handful of different flowers and combinations she thought would work best. I think we agreed with every single recommendation she gave us.

She was very helpful through the next few months. My order changed slightly every so often and she always responded super quickly and sent over a new quote each and every time - even if it was just a couple dollars different.

The moment the flowers arrived at my parents house I was just amazed - they were more gorgeous than I had even thought possible. And that was just the beginning. The flowers at the church were striking and I am STILL hearing comments and compliments about the flowers at the reception. Everything was just PERFECT and beautiful.

I will recommend Ash-Add to anyone and hope to use them in the future.

We worked with Ramses at Ashland Addison for our florals, and I could not have been happier! Ramses really understood what I wanted (soft, understated florals- vendors I had met with previously kept pushing putting shiny ribbons on everything and adding glitter to stuff), and showed me samples during our consultation of the specific types of flowers that he thought would work well. He also made suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I felt very confident that everything would look good, but the flowers on the day-of really did surpass my highest expectations. I would highly recommend Ashland Addison, and especially Ramses!

We worked with Amy at Ashland Addison and she was amazing! Before I came in the first time, she asked to see my Pinterest account, so she could get a feel for what I like. What I saw as just a group of pictures of flowers I liked, she saw as a cohesive vision. She helped me to a name to what I liked (apparently, I was drawn to flowers with a lot of texture). She helped pull together a sample for me. We worked together to tweak it and she showed me how to get the most bang for my buck. The day of, she delivered the flowers to the hotel and the venue and personally set them up. Everyone was floored by how beautiful they were and how great they smelled! Everything was easy when working with Amy: payments were easy, communication was prompt, and the final product was stunning. Flowers were so important to me, but I didn't know much about what I wanted when I walked in. Amy patiently helped me realize the vision I had! I can't recommend this company, and Amy in particular, enough!

Chris at the Elk Grove Location saved our wedding! After having our original florist flake out on us, my husband and I drove into Chicago from Michigan to meet with Ashland Addison in their Chicago location. Well, that consultant had a bridal emergency and had to cancel on us after we drove 5 hours to get there! Luckily, Chris saved the day and had an impromptu meeting with us that same afternoon. Chris was a delight to work with; he had great ideas, was open to absolutely anything we wanted, and we were able to get everything we wanted for $400 below our expected cost! Chris was always available by phone or email and was super flexible anytime I changed my mind or wanted something different. Our flowers were beautiful and everything we wanted. The only reason I had to take a .1 off of the final rating score was because our mom's corsages were mixed up the day of the wedding. No big deal at all, but it did happen. Overall, we HIGHLY recommend Ashland Addison in Elk Grove and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

I worked with Martha at Addison Ashland. I knew I made the right choice when during our consultation she excused herself and came back with my centerpiece made to show me! She even made a mock tablescape so I could see how it would look....all this and I wasn't even a client yet! They are really a full service florist. I didn't have to do or worry about anything. They were going to start setting up for the wedding at 2:30, but I needed bouquets for pictures at 11:30 and they sent someone up separate with all the wedding party flowers without hesitation! I added cake flowers at the last minute and they were stunning. They are not the cheapest, but are competitive with other florists and are worth their weight in gold when it comes to customer service. The only complaint I had was that they were still setting up when I was taking pictures before the ceremony and didn't try to stay out of shots. The room and ceremony exceeded my expectations..I was blown away at how awesome everything was.

Wonderfully done flower arrangements for our wedding

Ashland-Addison was our florist - we had Veronica as our contact person. She spent a lot of time reviewing and revisiting exactly what we want for flower arrangements and with her suggestions, and setup at the Adler - it was a beautiful job. The look she put together complimented everything so well. She did a wonderful job.
We’d highly recommend them for florist needs.

I personally worked with Meghan. She was very kind, attentive, and always repeated what was said to make sure everything was clearly understood. As time past, a couple of changes had to be made or things had to be added and it was not a problem at all. They are very cooperative and flexible. Their contract was very clearly explained and well detailed. It took her 2-3 days to reply to my emails. On our wedding day, all I had were compliments on how beautiful and unique my bouquet was. Guests also said that the big bouquets in the church were great too. When I arrived at the reception, everything was set as I had asked and it was very romantic too. On the tables, we had chosen to put vases of water with floating candles and petals. Something else that was very helpful also is that they took full responsibility to move all the flowers from the church to the reception to re-use them and came to pick everything up once the reception was over. I definitely recommend them!!!!

We worked with Meghan and she was awesome to work with. Compared to other companies I looked at in the city, they were by far the best value! She also had no problem making last minute changes that I wanted and everything the day of the wedding turned out so pretty and absolutely perfect!

Ashland Addison Florist were helpful, kind and creative from our first meeting. I went in with a variety of photos of bouquets I liked. I showed them a photo of my dress and the overall theme of the wedding and my contact immediately started pulling flowers so I could see them right away. Everything was beautiful and I received so many compliments on the bouquets. I would definitely recommend working with them.

I only used them for personal flowers so I can not attest to centerpieces or other arrangements, but I'm sure they would also be great. They were also great about working within budget. I have a couple of other florist completely disregard my budget when putting together a proposal, but Ashland Addison actually was under budget!

Ashland Addison was one of my favorite vendors. Martha and Jessica were very patient with me & wanted to take the time to make it perfect- and it was! The flowers were one of my favorite parts of the day- the bouquets looked really full and everyone said how pretty the flowers were. I liked that they let me bring in my own vases to help with the cost (flowers are expensive- it's just a fact!!) and they give an itemized price list. I felt very comfortable with them and would definitely recommend to other brides.

All the bouquets were so well put together! The delicate flowers added a fairytale-like effect to our wedding. I am not much of a flower expert, but I am sure that they were of the highest quality and smelled very nice. Although they were relatively expensive, I still chose this company because of their great service. The women at the front desk offered their help and seemed to be concerned about our wedding. Their friendly demeanor meant a lot to the both of us and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of flower and decor services.

Martha and crew at Ashland Addison were wonderful. The flowers the day of were gorgeous, all communication was timely and accurate, the cost was reasonable. They are our favorite florist here in Chicago, but we were unsure if they would be able to do the flowers for our wedding about an hour north of the city - it was no problem! My bouquet of red roses was gorgeous, and my only complaint was that they did not seem to use the same kind of rose for my husbands bout - it was pretty small and plain, about half the size of one in my bouquet.

We worked with Amy at Ashland Addison Florist and we couldn't be happier with our flowers! Amy was very helpful at keeping our flowers within our budget and making sure everything ran smoothly. Our flowers showed up exactly where we wanted them and they were on time! The one thing was there were a couple pins missing for our boutineers. Amy was great to work with and I highly recommend her. The flowers were one of my favorite parts about my wedding. Our consultant Lauren was so nice and knowledgeable. I walked in for a consultation not really knowing to much of what I wanted. She talked with me about everything from what flowers we could save money with to what's in season to what would look nice together. She even brought out samples of all the flowers we talked about so I could see them in person. What's really great is they do a trial before your wedding so you can see what your centerpieces and bouquets will look like before the big day. A little expensive, but they take care of everything for you.

Ashland Addison was the only florist that 'got' my husband and I. We wanted unusual, colorblocked arrangements that were purple and red with some black accents. A few other florists wrinkled their brows and shook their heads. One even told us that that wouldn't look right and pushed really hard for one color only bouquets - not my thing.

Our arrangements were GORGEOUS. We had 2 on either side of the aisle, on top of podiums. The also provided a black aisle runner with a purple border and red roses running up both sides. It looked dramatic and beautiful. My bouquet was so beautiful that people kept coming over and asking what kind of flowers had been used. I could not have been happier with how they turned out.

We worked with Chris at the Elk Grove Village location. I cannot praise his work highly enough. I walked in with a vague vision and he transformed it into something amazing! He is clearly passionate about his work, and he has great instincts. Chris is very flexible and helpful; he even handled last minute changes and requests with ease. He was also respectful of my (limited) budget and didn't try to upsell me on anything.

I gave 3 stars for responsiveness because this is his only weak point. Chris is extremely busy and was not always available to respond to phone calls or emails right away. However, as we got closer to the wedding, I received more of his attention, and by the week of the wedding, I felt confident because all my questions/concerns were handled. Chris is a pleasure to work with. You can expect 110% effort from him.

We were very pleased with our service from Ashland and Addison. I worked with Martha who showed us many options to put together exactly what we wanted. You was very understanding about our budget and helped us scale back and make changes to get what we wanted for the price we could afford (there prices were a little higher than we were looking for). My biggest fear on my wedding day was the flowers showing up, but I never even got a chance to worry, they delivered the bouquets and corsages early and set up everything in more than enough time. They were also there right away to break everything done. The flowers and arrangements were all gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. The only things I can think of that were not impressive were a few mistakes on the bill of which flowers were for what, but I emailed my concerns and they were fixed immediately. Also they said they would send me ribbon for my cake to match the ribbons on the bouquets and they never did, but it wasn't a big deal I had backup ribbon. All in all, I would highly recommend them!
