If I can give Erin more stars I would! She was so calm & very easy to work with. Even when we had a later than expected start she was very accommodating starting with whoever was ready. I live in Florida and we were having our wedding in NY so I couldn’t meet Erin beforehand and had to trust the beautiful hairstyles I saw online. And I was not disappointed at all! Everything came out better than I could’ve ever imagined! We have all types of hair & all the girl’s hairstyles stayed intact. Including mine, no matter how much dancing we did! I would definitely recommend her! -

Erin is not only an artist, she's also a calming presence! She really listened to my ideas & used it to guide the look. She is also lightening fast with hair & makeup! Between her & her assistant Daylin, our bridal party came out stunning! -

I have had my hair and make up done by her as a bride (2010), a bridesmaid (2018) and as a wedding guest (2015, 2016 + other countless times). Her level of professionalism and willingness to make your look happen is insurmountable. Having work done with Erin is like working with an old friend, she's personable, makes you laugh and in the end you look the most beautiful you ever have.

Catherine Sent on 07/06/2018Erin did way more than just make me beautiful. On a day that can be full of anxiety, she made me feel super relaxed and even have fun! Her up-beat disposition is exactly the vibe you want to be surrounded by on your wedding day. Erin was super organized from the day I booked her. She was very receptive to direction and made my hair and make-up look exactly the way I wanted it and even reminded me to eat and drink water throughout the morning. She made me look amazing all day! And all night! And in 90+ degree heat! I got compliments all day and never felt so lovely. Magical!

Allie Sent on 11/27/2017As a former beauty editor who hates getting her makeup done, finding (and trusting) someone to do hair and makeup for my wedding was the thing I was least looking forward to in the planning process. But after finding Erin on Instagram through a friend-of-a-friend, everything got easy! Not only did Erin respond to my last-minute inquiry within the hour, she was flexible in setting up a trial and the three hours I spent in her chair flew by. She's incredibly sweet, easy to talk to, fun and smart—all things you want in the person touching your face for the better part of a day! I loved the way she made me look and feel at the trial and immediately booked her for my wedding. When the day came, she brought another ultra-talented and awesome hair/MU artist to help out with the four other women in my party, and the two of them fit in seamlessly. Everyone was beyond thrilled with their hair and makeup, including my very picky sister and my self-conscious-about-her-age mom. The big thing I told Erin was that I wanted to look like myself on my best day, not like someone who was wearing a ton of makeup, and she NAILED it. I felt like a beautiful version of myself in makeup that lasted ALL DAMN DAY and through hours of happy tears, hugs, and sweaty dancing. And when I decided day-of to go in a different direction with my hair than what we had done at the trial, she was psyched and my hair turned out better than I could have hoped. Erin is a total dream to work with and anyone would be lucky to have her make them more beautiful on their wedding day! (Another plus? Despite her amazing work, Erin charged significantly less than all of the Manhattan- and Brooklyn-based artists I talked to. And she doesn't charge a travel fee despite being based in Suffern.)

Not only is she a great hair and makeup artist, but her professionalism and skill working with a variety of people is what makes her extra special. We are talking about a long, busy, and somewhat stressful morning getting a bunch of people ready and Erin was the calm in the madness. She kept everyone smiling through it all. She is the type of person you working with you on your wedding day.
