Phenomenal Service
Starting with my bridal make-up trial appointment to my wedding day, Cindy and the Artistry by Bonnie team were absolutely wonderful. Never rushed, always prepared, extremely personable, and utterly professional. I am truly not a make-up person at all, but my experience was transformational each time my makeup was done. I even used Cindy for my bridal shower look and she delivered! I highly recommend Artistry by Bonnie to make you look stunning on your special day. -

Cindy is an amazing artist! Not only did she do an amazing job on my makeup, but she was easy to talk to from the day we met, and was so so helpful the day of the wedding.
"Helpful" as in she hopped in as if she was a bridesmaid herself to ensure my dress was placed perfectly in pictures, my skin was glowing, hair was still in tact, and of course, makeup was on POINT. 10/10, recommend! -

I discovered Cindy on Instagram and after a bridal trial I knew that I wanted to work with her. I booked her a few months prior to the big day. I was a very nervous bride but Cindy kept in contact and reassured me that everything would work out. Cindy is very kind, patient, and professional. My makeup looked beautiful and lasted the whole day ( we had an early start since my wedding started at 2pm). I was a nervous wreck all morning but after my makeup was done and I saw my reflection in the mirror, I felt amazing! She brought another artist to help her do the makeup for the bridal party, mother-in-law, and mother. Everyone was very pleased and we all received tons of compliments. Thank you so much Cindy for everything!

Traditional Bride
I felt like Cynthia was my sister for the day. She not only did my makeup but made sure I was ready from head to toe. She even helped calm a rambunctious toddler while we were getting ready! Then she did my sisters makeup at the last minute...Thank you and I look forward to another opportunity work with you again 😊😊 -

Hands down THE BEST MUA EVER!!! I was at such ease getting my makeup done. She was so professional and prompt. Cindy and her assistant did a phenomenal job on myself and my bridesmaids. I would HIGHLY recommend her and I can’t wait to use her in the future. -

Flawless Makeup!
This was the easiest part of my wedding planning. She is very down to earth and gets to know a little about you to personalize your makeup to you. The makeup was flawless and lasted all night. My only advice to you would be to book her early!!! I was so happy at my makeup! -

My experience with Cindy was great. She was professional, pleasant, friendly and easy to get along with. She made me feel soooo comfortable. In addition to her being such a sweet and lovable person, her artistry skills are amazing. She listened to what I wanted and made me into a masterpiece. The wedding day make up she did for me was so elegant and I looked so gorgeous. The makeup lasted the entire night and some. I would definitely recommend her for your make up needs. She’s great! Each time she did my make up I received sooooo many compliments. -

I had such a wonderful experience working with Cindy. She provided exemplary service and made me look absolutely gorgeous at my wedding. I’m a makeup connoisseur so I’m used to wearing full makeup. I wear makeup everyday and I love getting glamed up on a regular basis. This also makes me extremely picky and particular about my look. Selecting Cindy was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made. She’s every brides dream. Not only is she extremely talented but she’s also a genuine kind hearted soul. I looked and felt stunning and glamorous. My makeup was flawless. I’m so glad to have these pictures that I can keep forever. She’s the best, hands down. I met Cindy 4 years ago when my sister was getting married and she looked fabulous on her wedding day with the help of Cindy. 4 years later when I was planning my own wedding I knew Cindy was the first vendor I was going to book. She is the sweetest and most kind person I have ever met. She listens to what you are aiming for and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I booked Cindy a year out and she was very communicative by answering my many text messages and phone calls. She is a GENIUS at her craft. Myself, 8 bridesmaids and 2 mothers looked fabulous the entire day. My face was beautiful the entire day and my look couldn’t have been possible without Cindy. She is so deserving of all accolades within this business and I highly recommend her to all new brides.

Where do I begin, Cindy is simply amazing. She has a beautiful personality and her soul is one of a kind. I searched high and low for a MUA, and kept hitting a brick wall, not only were the prices ridiculous, the work that I saw didn't impress me. When I came across Cindy's page I was blown away with her work, especially on darker skinned girls. These were women of all shades and colors and each of these women's faces were immaculate. It is not easy to find a MUA that can master makeup on dark skinned women and Cindy does just that. When I contacted her I was impressed by her professionalism and sweet personality. She responds to emails, calls and texts promptly. I did my trial with her for my engagement photo shoot. When she gave me the mirror, I was in awe of how beautiful I was. I can't forget to mention that she was extremely ill that day but still maintained her composure and professionalism. That was when I knew this girl is a BEAST at what she does and she truly respects her craft. On My wedding day Cindy was punctual, she values and respects time. She helped set a positive mood in the room, and helped ease any anxiety that anyone in the bridal party might have had that day. She truly provided a positive aura, which made it such an amazing experience. I highly recommend extending the makeup time till the reception, that was the best decision I are that day besides marrying my husband. She was there to keep my face fresh after sweating on the dance floor, and even provided different lip colors to give me new looks for the night! If you're looking for a MUA that will have you looking the most beautiful you've ever been, with a reasonable price please look no further, Cindy is your girl! I literally told her on my wedding day I felt the most beautiful that I've ever felt in my life. I've had my makeup done professionally several times, but I've never had an experience like I had with Cindy. She is now my go to MUA for every special occasion! -

Starting with the makeup trial up until the wedding day, she was the sweetest soul and completely understood how I wanted to look for my wedding day! I described it with my words and she really came through making me look glam while still looking like myself! She used quality products and stayed to do touch ups right before I walked down the aisle. She's very patient and understanding and was just the easiest and nicest soul to work with! I'm absolutely glad I booked her!

Sherlene Sent on 01/17/2016I found Bonnie/Cindy on Instragram using the hashtag #njmua. I had two make-up trial before, and they were "okay" so I kept looking. I was hesitant to do a 3rd trial because of the constant investment, but I knew I needed to do this. When I met Bonnie, she was friendly & made me feel at ease. I had snuck out of work to do my makeup with her, so I was a bit anxious to get back. In my previous trials, the make up artists didn't really speak to me, so there wasn't much of a connection, but Bonnie made me feel at ease. I had no idea what I wanted, so I left it in her hands, and when I was done and looked at myself in her mirror, I said, "Oh My Goodness! I look SOOO pretty." I booked Bonnie for the wedding to do makeup for 6 people. I had convinced as many people as possible to get their makeup done by her, and each person was extremely pleased with her work. During the wedding, all I heard was, "wow, your makeup looks so good on you!" Bonnie is a hidden gem that is not exposed yet to the bridal world, and I do hope that she gets more exposure because she is extremely talented. As a woman of color (Latina) it is hard to find a makeup artist that knows how to do make up that looks natural, but Bonnie worked her magic on me, 2 bridesmaids, and 3 family members ranging from Abuela, to my mother in law to my aunt. I really do feel like I got lucky finding her on the web. My suggestion is don't get caught up in the hype of famous make up artists... look locally and you might find a rock star :) Thanks Bonnie/Cindy! -

Cindy and her team are the truth! I initially met her through a mutual friend, and since then she's been front and center for a few weddings within my friend circle. Needless to say, Cindy's work is FANTASTIC. She has this way of elevating your natural beauty while still making you look absolutely beautiful. Even on the day of, Cindy went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and even helped me into my dress - it was like having a sister there to help you on your big day!

Finding a quality and professional makeup artist was one of the biggest challenges for me as a bride. I wanted a naturally glam look and I wanted to work with a woman of color, who knew how to match my skin tone to a t. A former bride sent me her information and I fell in love with her work, it was exactly the vision I had in my mind. From our initial phone call, I felt comfortable, heard and understood. I loved the idea that she worked solely on the bride and it made me feel so special and pampered on my wedding day. We completed my trial on the date of my bridal shower and the execution was excellent. I looked and felt beautiful. When the wedding day came, Cindy and her team blew me away yet again. Everyone was on time, professional and had great energy! I looked amazing the entire day and night, so did each of my bridesmaids, MOB and MIL. I highly recommend! Thank you Cindy and Team! -
