Custom invitations are SO worth it!
Lisa and her team are amazing! Being a huge custom stationary fan, I had followed Lisa for awhile on Instagram and was so excited to work with her when I got engaged. She made my gorgeous bridal shower invitations that everyone complimented. Then my wedding invitations were INCREDIBLE! They set the tone for day and Lisa was super helpful in navigating the ins and outs of dealing with USPS. This is service you do not get from an online invitation site and saves extra headaches in the end! If you're debating whether or not to go the custom route - I say definitely do it!!!!

Wedding Invitations
The team at Art Paper Scissors created the most beautiful invitations for our wedding! Now that we have been sending them out to our guests, we are getting so many compliments! For me, the invitations are the first thing your guest sees setting the tone for your wedding and they really knocked it out of the park - 10/10 recommend! We are also planning on doing our wedding programs with them!

What a great, seamless experience. We were late to start, and Lindsay and Lisa were on it. I had an idea of what I wanted our invites to look like and Lisa nailed it. I cannot recommend Art Paper Scissor enough. From our first initial zoom, to receiving our final invitation, the process was so extremely seamless and enjoyable. I worked with Lisa and she took our vision and turned it into something so incredibly amazing. Being able to receive physical proofs was huge for my fiancé and I as we are both very visual people. From there, meeting with Lisa and mixing and matching our favorite parts of our samples allowed our dream invitation to come to life. Amazing, beautiful invitations
I highly, highly recommend Art Paper Scissors for invitations. Lisa designed a beautiful wedding invitation for my daughter's wedding and friends and family are still telling us how stunning they are. Lisa listens to your design likes and dislikes, takes extensive notes and shows you dozens upon dozens of options without making you feel overwhelmed. Lisa thinks of everything and is very detailed - from which stamp you prefer on your response card to the wording of your entire invitation suite. The specific wedding invitations samples which are provided a few weeks after your meeting are incredibly helpful. She offers options and explains why something you may want, may not work - which she was right 10 out 10 times. Another plus is you receive your invitations assembled with envelopes addressed and sealed. Lisa's knowledge and demeanor is outstanding, her business practices are excellent.
I was so happy with Lisa and her team (Lindsey) that I hired them to create my daughter's bridal invitations as well. Again, beautiful design.

During the initial meeting, we talked about my vision and style for the invitations. From there, she mailed me multiple physical samples of invitations, where I was able to see my own name/details printed in person, which was extremely helpful. After that, we continued to work in tandem until the invitations were designed to perfection. Gorgeous Suites
Working with Lisa and Lindsey has been amazing! Selecting invitations was important to me because I felt it set the tone for our wedding. My fiancé and I are not from NJ but I did some research, and I can say we nailed it when it came to our invitations. I remember visiting the studio and mesmerized by all the different invitations suites. The whole process was easy and convenient as there were several emails and even zoom calls selecting fonts, card stocks, and designs. After meeting for the first time, Lisa sent out three samples immediately. She answered every email or any changes I wanted. We recently sent out our invitations and have gotten many compliments telling us how beautiful they are. Thank you Lisa and Lindsey for bringing my invitation suite vision to life!

The best experience
I had an amazing experience working with Lisa and her team at Art Paper Scissors! I actually went in without having much of an idea of what I wanted and she was so helpful in helping me narrow things down. After receiving some samples in the mail, we had a call to finalize the details. Of course I had a few changes after that and she was so responsive with getting everything perfect! I am in love with how things turned out and couldn't be happier. The invites are beautiful and high quality. I am local to the area so I picked everything up in person and Lindsey who I met for the pickup was so friendly and helpful with explaining all the details in mailing them out. Even if you're not local, they provide you with a ton of written details to help which is amazing for someone like me who knew very little about this whole process. Highly recommend!!

Incredible Invitations and Service
Working with Lisa from Art Paper Scissors was an amazing experience!! The process of picking invitations was made so easy and Lisa is a PRO at what she does. After our first consultation to get an idea of what we liked, she sent over three samples and then we had a follow up video call to finalize our invitations. Lisa then sent PDF proofs of the invitations and was incredibly quick with responses for any tweaks we wanted to the invites. I have received countless compliments about how beautiful our invitations are and I have recommended Lisa and her company to anyone who asks for a recommendation!!!! Simply the BEST
I do not even know where to begin to say how AMAZING my experience was working with Lisa at Art Paper Scissors! She handled both our save the dates and invitations, and exceeded every single expectation! We live in CT, but are getting married in Jersey City, so I was nervous to shop for vendors around the area without actually knowing the area. Art Paper Scissors came up as a recommendation numerous times in the wedding Facebook groups I am part of, so I reached out immediately as real reviews meant so much to me!
Upon our first initial call with Lisa, she let me talk through my vision and her thoughts on the designs - she took the time to show me physical examples as we were on a Zoom call (they also host these meetings in person but I am about 2+ hours away so Zoom was best), which gave me a much better idea of the options I would be choosing from. I wanted a vellum overlay, so Lisa sent me 3 different samples in the mail - which included little pricing sheets and envelope options for each. This was SO helpful to see the functionality + feel of each of them. Once decided, Lisa communicated with us until we had a final proof ready for production. Our Save the Dates turned out FAR better than I could ever imagine + we received SO many compliments on them -- they were stunning + all our own as we got to decide on the fonts, grammar, picture, even the grommet color!
A few months later, Lisa and I got onto another design call to start our wedding invitations. This was my FAVORITE part - picking out fonts, colors, types of papers, envelope colors, inserts, etc. Yet again, Lisa outdid herself by shipping out 3 physical examples of invitations for us to review - all were custom with our own information so it was even easier to envision how the final design would come out. With these examples, we got to specifically pick the favorite pieces we liked from each, and then Lisa combined these elements into our final invitation! Having Lisa address the envelopes was such a time saver, and they came out stunning. We also opted in for the 'black light numbering' service, so there are numbers on the back of the RSVP cards for people who forget to fill out their name -- what a lifesaver! The way the invites were packaged was even stunning, all separate boxes, in a larger box with bubble wrap and just so organized.
I cannot WAIT to send out my invites next week and let people open the masterpiece that Lisa + the team created for us - thank you again!! Cannot recommend this vendor enough.

Lisa is amazing
Lisa is the BEST. For our invitations, she sat down with us to help narrow down materials, colors, design etc. Then, she gave us 3 hard copies of invitation options to choose from and met with us again to tweak little things. I am very happy with the final outcome and as we mailed them to our guests we received so many compliments of how stunning they are. We chose a simple black and champagne/gold design and it looks expensive but within budget for our October wedding. She created reception materials with a similar color scheme and vibe. Additionally, Lisa designed my bridal shower invitations and the guests stated how they captured me beautifully. I will definitely work with Lisa for future events.

Amazing, professional, beautiful invites
My invites came out amazing and the process was soo easy. First you are set up with a consultation where Lisa asked me a bunch of questions about the style and tone we were going for. I would have had no idea where to start but she guided me the whole way to find the look I wanted. After that they send you 3 proofs in the mail so you can feel and look at them in person which was so helpful for me. The rest of the process was SO easy and my invites came beautifully (and safely) packaged right to my house. They were sealed and ready to go and all I had to do was add stamps. The invites themselves were so beautiful and I could not be happier with them. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you Art Paper Scissors!

Lisa and her team are amazing!!! Her shop is super cute! If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend doing so! Our first appointment consisted of her showing us various samples of invitations. This was great because we got a chance to not only see them but to feel the quality of her products too. Sometimes online it can be difficult to see the true beauty of the work. Once we talked through our vision, Lisa took detailed notes and put together a few samples for us to view. She had these ready to go in just a few short weeks and we went back to her shop to look at them. Upon deciding on the type of invitation we wanted, Lisa sent PDF versions of the proof for us to either edit or approve. We really dissected it and she was extremely patient with our requests! Needless to say, we couldn't be happier with how the end result turned out! Our families cried when they opened the invitations. SUCCESS! :)

Amazing Work
We hired Lisa to do the invitations for our wedding on 05/20/2023. After chatting during our initial meeting, she was able to come up with a few designs that were exactly what we were looking for. The final invitation design we chose was absolutely beautiful, and we received so many compliments on it from our guests. After that, it made perfect sense to use Art Paper Scissors for everything we had left for printed materials (Table Numbers, Menus, and Place Cards). Lisa was able to work with a tight turnaround time (we had some late responses) and we couldn't have been happier with the results. If we need anything else designed and printed, Art Paper Scissors will be our first stop!

After having a bad experience at another stationary vendor, I came to Lisa at APS. Lisa is amazing! Her communication even before we met to make sure I found her location was excellent. When we finally met, she absolutely got my vision! I wanted a clean and traditional invitation. Even when my fiancé threw in some last minute changes, she accommodated us and gave us suggestions on how to incorporate it!
I cannot believe how quickly she got the invitations finished and once I picked them up, I was so happy. The quality is excellent! Her price is reasonable! And the finished product is fantastic! I will definitely go back to Lisa to complete the remainder of my stationary for the wedding!

Stunning invitation suite & reception materials
Lisa was an absolute joy to work with! From our very first conversation, it was clear that she understood my vision for our wedding and knew how to translate that into into an invitation suite. I shared my mood board with her (dark, moody, romantic) and she came up with a few options that were stunning, it was really hard to choose just one. Throughout the entire process, Lisa was clear in her communication, incredibly kind, and very easy to work with. She was also patient with the endless tweaks and revisions I had.
I truly believe the invitation sets the tone for guests - and boy did she nail it!! We received SO many compliments on our invitations, our guests couldn't stop raving about them and said they were the nicest invites they've ever seen. She also created a beautiful seating chart & other reception materials that had elements of the invites pulled through, which was a super sweet touch. Everything was exactly what I envisioned and felt cohesive, which was important to me.

Most Fun I Had During Planning!
I would highly recommend Art Paper Scissors to anyone in need of invitations. I used Art Paper Scissors for my wedding invitations and had a fantastic experience. As a bride, I was overwhelmed and stressed throughout the entire planning process. Creating my wedding invitations with Art Paper Scissors was by far the most fun I had during the planning. Lisa set up a video call with me to go over my initial ideas, which were all over the place, but she was really able to pull all of them together. I loved the unique experience of getting a few mock-ups before finalizing my designs. I was a little behind timing-wise with my invitations, but Lisa worked with me efficiently so I could send everything out on time!

Lisa's unique and personal designs are AMAZING! MUST USE HER
Lisa was incredible!! Not only were her designed EXTREMELY beautiful and unique, but she was a pleasure to work with. We ended up getting menus and table numbers through her as well. She was thorough when walking us through the process finding out exactly what we wanted and made everything super easy! Her designs were breath-taking and affordable and couldn't have been any more prefect for our wedding!

Simply the Best
Working with Art Paper Scissors was an amazing experience! I thought I'd have to go to NYC to find a quality designer for my wedding invitations, but luckily found Lisa in my search, and was thrilled to shop local (based in central NJ). Lisa walked me through several design options, which included various colors, fonts, styles, etc. She asked questions and was patient as I discovered what I envisioned for my design, showing me several samples and styles. What I also loved was that she sent proofs along the way and was always happy to help with modifications until we got the invitations perfect! I also plan on hiring Lisa to create my wedding menus and other prints so everything will match our stunning invites and have a cohesive look. Love, love, love!

Absolutely Beautiful!!
I used Art Paper Scissors for my invitations, menu cards, and seating chart for my wedding on 9/3/22. Everything was absolutely stunning! My invites were to die for, and Lisa really listened to my vision of the garden party summer/fall vibes I wanted for my wedding. I had multiple guests tell me that they had never had such beautiful invitations for a wedding! My stationery for the wedding went right along the same theme and everything came out beautifully.

Amazing Experience
We used Lisa for our invitations and right from the start was fantastic! Our invitations were gorgeous. As we got closer to the wedding we decided to do our seating chart, hotel itinerary and programs with Lisa as well. My husband wanted to do a sporting event like program which Lisa blew us away with! She made the vision come alive and our guests are still talking about how cool and different they were! I would work with Lisa again for everything and anything I need invitations for!

Easy Decision!
Going with Lisa should be an easy decision! Sites like minted lack the ability to customize and other invitation vendors wanted a 50% deposit before even drafting anything. Lisa catered to our needs from the very beginning from meeting after hours to accommodate our work schedules to talking through every detail of our preferences/invitation styles to ensure the drafts were exactly what we wanted. After going through our preferences, Lisa drafted and printed 3 unique invitations for $100. These were full examples including RSVP cards, accommodation cards, and Lisa even put in the thought to take all of the details from our website so the drafts were as if they were a final product. Our final invitations only required a few tweaks from the initial draft provided which is a testament to Lisa's creativity and attention to detail. Lisa did such a great job and everything was so stress free we decided to use her for our menus as well (and are even considering her for the remainder our paper products)!

Obsessed!
I am obsessed with my invites 😍 & people keep telling me how beautiful they are / the most beautiful they’ve ever seen for an invite.
I was so overwhelmed and didn’t know where to begin with the invites and Lisa made it so easy! She is based out of NJ and I’m from Long Island so we communicated via zoom meetings, email and text. We had a zoom meeting with her for her to get an idea of what style / colors / wording/ etc we like. I was a little scared that doing it via zoom wouldn’t give us the full effect as to what she has in terms of options but she knew exactly what she was doing and how to go about the situation. She then sent us 3 hard copy mock up versions based off of what we liked with all of our actual info on it so that we could really get the full effect. We merged two of her mock ups together plus a couple of other minor adjustments and boom! Had our invites picked . She was so amazing about it all! Even with my picky-neas ! She didn’t give me a hard time once, she was always so friendly and did / changed what I asked without hesitation. And she sends digital proofs of everything more than once for you to finalize before actually printing.
What I also love: the price! Absolutely amazing price for the quality of the product!
Not to mention she did it in such a timely fashion!
I really can’t complain about a single thing!!

I absolutely 100% recommend Art Paper Scissors for all your invitation needs. I am getting married this summer and both my sister and cousin recommended Art Paper Scissors for my wedding invitations. Run, don’t walk to meet with Lisa!! When it came to invitations, I only had a very loose idea of what I wanted. Lisa sat with me for what probably was forever showing me materials, designs, fonts, colors, etc etc etc until I found what I loved. She then made three STUNNING samples for me to choose between. Once I chose, the invites were done SO quickly! Lisa took care of the addressing of my envelopes too and it all came out amazing. Lisa is a total pleasure to work with and I couldn’t recommend her more!!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Lisa to have her design our wedding invitations. I first discovered her on instagram and fell in love with her work. Even though she was over an hour from where we lived, I just had to meet with her. From the first time we met with her I instantly felt her passion for her work and wanted to work with her. One of the Best Vendors I worked with for my Wedding!
Lisa was by far one of the most professional and kindest vendor I had the pleasure of working with in planning for my wedding invitations. Her clear communication and willingness to try different styles for you to actually see options was extremely helpful, particularly since we needed two languages on our invitation. Lisa made the entire process feel effortless, even as a COVID bride, her kindness to help us with our change of date was by far unmatched. We had a number of guests comment on how beautiful the invitations came out, from the style, the feel of the paper, and down to the details.
