G.E. Was amazing. Once we saw his work we knew he was the perfect photographer. His work is amazing, you could feel the emotions in his pictures. He exceeded our expectations by a long shot and we're thrilled when we saw our photos and received our albums. Worth every penny!

Like the majesty of his photography, he made the process, from start to finish, something to remember for years and years to come.

At first, we weren't entirely certain that we'd be able to bring G.E. Masana on board for our wedding photography because a co-worker of my wife informed her he was friendly with the owner of a photography company who could give us a great deal on a package. After taking a look at their portfolio, and even a small photo session, we got the impression that the savings in cost did not correlate to the sacrifices we would have to make in terms of our images. So the thought of making a compromise on the person who would be responsible for curating the realization of all that hard work, seemed pretty foolish.

We found a way to make it work with G.E. My wife and I were ecstatic to know that we were in good hands and that G.E. would capture the true essence of our wedding day, knowing that when all the dust had settled, we would have a product near and dear to our hearts that could bring us back to that day in an instant. His communication throughout the months leading up to our summer wedding was superb. He genuinely pursued the elements of our wedding that we decided as being important to us, and then detailed how he would go about capturing that. G.E. gave us the confidence that however my wife and I wanted our wedding to be remembered, he was going to deliver - and that he did!

Weaving in and out unbeknownst to us, all while capturing the interpersonal interactions, ambiance, subtle jokes, body language, and of course, the emotion of the day. When we saw how our wedding photography turned out... we had never seen anything like it. I wholeheartedly recommend G.E. and the services he provides for his clients.

My husband and I searched and met with many photographers, but no one could compare to G.E. Masana. When I stumbled across his website and looked at his photos online I could feel the emotions those couples felt at that moment the picture was taken. It was unbelievable that a picture could make me feel what they were experiencing and even more amazing he was able to capture that.

Working with G.E. was amazing, he was very professional. We had no doubts in his ability to capture all moments of our wedding that would let us relive the day over and over again. When G.E. did the reveal of our photos from our wedding we were blown away, he exceeded our expectations by a long shot. He was worth every penny, after all that is all we have left to look back on from our wedding night besides each other.

My mom got so emotional looking at the pictures that she started crying and had to step away and take a break before even getting to the ceremony pictures!

G.E. created captured all of the emotions and provided us with a beautiful photographic memoir of our wedding day. He was both everywhere and nowhere during our wedding day: he captured every moment but he did not disturb us or distract from our enjoyment of the day.

G.E. was very detail orientated. He spent over an hour on the phone with me a few weeks before the wedding, helping me to plan every detail of the timing of the day. Working with G.E. was almost like working with a wedding planner.

He was also very flexible. He created a special package for us that was within our budget and met our needs. He also travelled to Baltimore to shoot our engagement photos. I received countless compliments.

I would not hesitate to recommend G.E. to other brides

One of the biggest concerns I had when looking for a wedding photographer was the style and quality of the images. I wanted a great photographer that can capture beautiful images that tell a story. You cannot relive your wedding day but with great photography, you can always see how beautiful you looked and remember how wonderful you felt. We didn't want to commit ourselves to just any photographer. We looked at a few images and portfolios from other photographers in the NYC/NJ area and they were really nice but nothing unique. They had beautiful images but not the moments we were looking for. G.E. Masana shot our engagement photo session in prospect park last year in July and the images just blew us away!! He really captured the love we had for each other and when we looked at images from previous weddings he photographed, we knew without a doubt we wanted him to photograph our wedding. Booking with G.E. was a splurge for our budget but I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed and I wasn't . The wedding was beautiful and The images G.E. Masana took are like paintings/ beautiful works of art. I couldn't be happier. The shots were not just pictures they were moments. We planned for an outdoor wedding but it rained all day and he still got beautiful images. He captured both fun, candid and traditional images and the best part is every spread in my album tells a story and that's exactly what we wanted.

A super talented guy! He’s got a great eye for moments that pass by in a blink but he catches them! But wait until you speak with him! He’s got a way of explaining how he zeros in on the right exact moments and when he explains it to you, your brain goes on fire with OMG that’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! My brother-in-law does wedding photos on the side and so he was taking pictures that day too making sure to not get in the way but the difference between the kinds of photos my brother-in-law got and what G.E. got were like night and day. It's hard to believe they were from the same wedding! What a difference G.E. makes! He'll give you unique wedding photos that won't look like the same ones your sister got.

WOW. I look at my pictures and feel I’m right back there again! I’m reliving the emotion and magic and crying and laughing literally all over again thanks to G.E. Masana’s amazing talents!

Crazy long hours went into finding the perfect photographer for us. We spent more time talking to photographers then we did talking to each other! And to be honest a lot of that time was spent on people who turned out look like everyone else. Same poses. Same pictures.

We thought maybe that’s just the way wedding photography is. We wanted better than what we were seeing around New York City but figured we must be looking at what’s considered standard.

And then a work mate showed us G.E. Masana’s website. G.E. was his wedding photographer. And what we saw blew us away.

Right away we knew this is different. His photos had real emotions in them. And they were beautiful to look at. So we called him and met with him. The rest is history.

We absolutely LOVE our photos, more than I can figure out how to explain right now! How do I say how much I appreciate all his effort, talent and passion? He’s simply incredible at this!!!!!

Words cannot express how beautiful our wedding photos are and how talented G.E. Masana is! They really took my breath away. The moments he got! Here’s what you need to know about G.E. I just cared about my photographer being amazing! And G.E. did that. He captured every moment, intensified our love, and put it into every photo! HE WAS AMAZING! When we were searching for our wedding photographer, we came across G.E. Masana's website after reading all the raves he had here and on Wedding Bee and The Knot from other brides. We sat in front of the computer eyes glued to the screen gushing over all his photos! There are emotions you can FEEL in every one of his pictures and we didn’t get that from any other photographer we saw. They all promised they would get great emotions but the albums they showed us didn’t back up their promises.

So we called G.E. When we called him he listened intently to what we wanted from our photos. We met with him and he explained more on how he gets story telling photos with true emotions that capture the feel of the wedding.

Then he customized a package for us based on what we wanted and our budget. It was a perfect fit!

It was a no brainer to go ahead right there and book him to be our wedding photographer. We also scheduled an engagement session.

Everything we’ve seen from him so far from our engagement and our wedding has come out stunning, beyond our expectations. The wedding day took off without a hitch. He made us feel special and comfortable. At the wedding he was like a fly on the wall, just like he promised he’d be. Working with him throughout this whole process has been a pleasure.

We now have our album designed and since he does so much of the legwork this was yet another easy accomplishment, which would’ve been very difficult without his guidance and suggestions because each and every photo from our wedding has us awe-struck as we could not find any photos that we didn't like. They were stunning! We can't wait to see the finished wedding album, which G.E. told us would be ready in around four to five months. I’ve got friends who have been married for two years and they still don’t have their albums!

Let's be honest. The world is littered with wedding photographers and their pictures aren't always all that. When we were looking for our photographer we read countless the knot, wedding wire, wedding channel and other forums where other brides posted their wedding photos and everyone else was telling them how beautiful their pictures were. But the thing is, they weren't. Their pictures either looked cheesy, or they just didn't look good in the photos. They were pretty bad.

So you can only imagine how difficult it was for me to find a photographer. I admit I did some photography in college and maybe I was exposed to what makes a great photograph, and that sure helped to make me so picky. So when my girlfriend who's also getting married sent me a few of her engagement pictures which she was extremely excited about, I looked at them. And I was blown away. I've never seen such beautiful work!

That's how I discovered G.E. Masana.

From the time I called him, through our engagement session, wedding, and now just a few days ago seeing the final wedding pictures..... blown away several more times!! It's not just the pictures, though each and every one of them is like a little art masterpiece and captured who we are and the emotions of our day and the details. But G.E. is like a veritable genius at his craft. Everything he does is thoughtful. It's all about the photos and his philosophy of instinctively knowing exactly the right moments to photograph to create a collection that really capture the heart. I can tell you that others may say they do this but it's rare they know how to do it, and do it well with stunning pictures.

My husband and I first want to thank G.E. Masana for his expertise and kindness in capturing life long memories of our most special day. Things go blindingly fast on a wedding day but in our wedding pictures we see captured moments others wouldn’t have been able to see.

The spirit and feelings of our day really come across in his pictures. They go 1000 degrees beyond the typical shots we saw in many other photographers portfolios. He’s a true artist and we couldn’t be happier!

We originally met G.E. at our friend's wedding, and were so impressed with his work that we decided to have him do ours even though it wasn't in New York. From our first meeting to our wedding day, he went over and beyond our expectations. We also had him do our engagement pics when we came in to New York.

We were amazed by his work. 1,000% satisfied with the quality he provided for our wedding and engagement pics. His photography was not only spectacular, but he also captured the feelings of the moments. Looking at his pictures of our day, brings back the emotions we felt when we said "I do". He knows how to capture not only special moments but actual emotions that people are feeling. His artistic eye just made our pictures so gorgeous. This was the single best investment we made for our wedding. G.E. was responsive, brilliantly knowledgeable about all things wedding, and ah-mazing with a camera! To say they look like they belong in Vogue or hanging in a gallery starts to give you an idea of how stylish, classic and elegant his photography style is.

He captured every range of emotion, every heart felt moment. He got moments that every one else seemed to miss. Most of our photos were photojournalistic and story telling. Nothing looks unnatural. Nothing is. He told us he’d get our genuine moments without being in our face all day and he delivered 100% on his promise.

Okay, so I know lots of photographers get heaps of praise, but let’s be honest. If you’re looking at photographers and they all look the same to you because their shots are nothing more than a snapshot a guest with a good camera can take, you can tell when someone comes along and all of a sudden his photos jump out incredibly. That’s what grabbed us when we saw his web site. Immediately we could tell this was different than what we had been seeing. Far better than most. We were a little hesitant to call worrying that with photography and experience like his, the price must be expensive. But he wasn’t!

We’re more than thrilled. Like I said this was the single best investment we made for our wedding!

He was born to be a photographer-artist. We were lucky enough to have him photograph our wedding. We were beyond delighted. He’s amazingly filled with talent and has an eye for detail and sees things that ordinarily others would not notice. The memories he got for me and my husband will last lifetimes and I honestly sincerely with all my soul believe that no one, no other photographer, could have or would have captured the range of emotions, the details and story of the day as beautifully as he has done.

The pictures put the biggest smile on my heart!! Can I give this man TEN stars???

After going through three weddings in the last ten months and now my own, I really believe G.E. Masana takes wedding photography to another level that is an art form. The photos and style are so intimate and heartfelt. A story is told in every photo. When you look at your photos you are transformed right back to the very moment it was taken.

He’s really given thought to how to make everything better. In other words, he doesn’t follow the way things are “normally” done by other photographers because they themselves are only copying what they see others do. He’s been there, done that, been around longer and knows a lot more than many others so he's way ahead of everyone else. In fact other photographers call HIM for advice. Everything he does is just that much more thoughtful and better. And that was evident on our wedding day.

He takes such great care with every step of the process. He pays attention to details you’ll otherwise miss. His aim is to tell a story of love and family history thru photographs. And he came through our day with flying colors. We shall forever be in his debt for so wonderfully creating this meaningful set of photos for us and our families.

He is absolutely amazing. He took the time and effort to finish the photos with his expert touch and present us with hundreds of photos and there really wasn't a bad one in the bunch. Of course, that made it even harder to choose, but that's a good problem to have.

The photos made us cry.... in a good way.

In a day and age where everyone has a camera, everyone's a photographer. And they take pictures. But this man, G.E. Masana. He is an artist. He doesn't just snap shots. He pays attention. He watches details. And then somehow he turns them into a pictorial beautifully processed, like only an artist can do, and the results take your breath away.

We both are filmmakers. No doubt our careers make us very discerning when it comes to visual images. When my husband and I were in the wedding planning stages and it came time to look for a photographer, we started at looking at web sites to see wedding photographer’s portfolios. We couldn’t believe how many were just plain bad photographers. Even with the ones who looked like they knew how to make a proper exposure, it was always that their compositions were bad, or they didn’t make the people in their photos look great or they didn't get the height of the moment in their candids or their photos looked the same as all the other photographers doing the same exact thing.

Then we found G.E. Masana. His photography stands out from all of the rest, hands down.

From the beginning, we were totally floored. His level of detail and professionalism is unmatched by many leading up to the wedding day and also the day of, and beyond.

We can't even find the right words to say how incredibly stunning the pictures are, and how lucky we feel to have had him capture our day for us. When we looked through the photos, we couldn’t stop looking at them. They were irresistible. When I say stunning and irresistible, believe me, I’m not just saying that. I'm not one to heap praise easily. My husband will testify to that!

It was a breathtaking day for us filled plenty with moments of great fun and emotion, made even more amazing and beautiful through G.E. Masana’s eyes and lens. We'd recommend him in a heart beat.

My wedding planner had recommended a couple of photographers, but their work was missing something. I set out to find a photographer who could truly capture the essence of my time and place. My MOH’s sister recommended her photographer who turned out to be G.E. Masana. I went to his web site and knew his aesthetic matched my vision. After meeting him in person, my mind was made. His confidence and in-depth knowledge of his craft was immediately apparent. This wasn’t going to be typical wedding photography.

Typical wedding photos are “stand here, do this, kiss, kiss, kiss, now smile.” That’s not what we wanted. We wanted rich artistic portraits and even more wonderful moments of the day with the people we love. And the typical photographers just snap away hoping that out of all the photos they take that they’ve got some good ones.

But as they say, a miss is as close as a mile. I wanted someone who had a better plan and better skills than just hoping for the odds to work out firing away. Which brings me back to the talented Mr. Masana.

Just look at his wedding photos on his web site and tell me if there isn’t something extra special about them. Right away you see that they have expression and reaction. They’re not the standard statue shots you see so often. These have life! These are the exact raw heartfelt moments every bride dreams their wedding photographer will capture on their wedding day.

I can literally go on, and on... and I can't say it enough. You’ll be absolutely blown away if you get him for your wedding.

We were completely WOWED at the photography that G.E. Masana created for us and memories that we will have for the rest of our lives. We have had nothing but great compliments, saying these are the best wedding photos people have ever seen. I couldn't agree more! And all my friends are jealous! They all wish they had photos like ours. Their photographers didn’t even come close, they tell us.

I think we got the best photographer in the whole world, truly. We will be having G.E. take all of our professional photography forever, and we’ve already recommended him to three more friends getting married. Not that he needs the help, but everyone I know that is getting married, I have told that they must contact him, no question.

I cannot stop looking at my wedding photos! Words cannot express how amazing they are. Our wedding day was such a blur for us (a wonderful blur!), but G.E. truly captured every emotion and the overall feel of our wedding day so we could re-live it all slowly and truly appreciate it. Looking through the photos makes me unbelievably giddy and emotional at the same time! It feels like Christmas day...

Not only are we extremely happy with his beautiful work, but everyone who has laid eyes on our pictures has loved them. From the second my husband and I met him, we knew we hit the photographer lottery. His goal is to make you more than happy.

We had our wedding at the Bowery Hotel in NYC. Up until the wedding, he kept in touch, was full of surprises, really funny and overall, a pleasure to work with. What a great experience it was to have someone like G.E. at our wedding. He’s experienced and it shows. He handled the posed family photos with such ease, professionalism and calmness (with all the family members, it can get a little crazy). We also ran almost an hour late due to our limousine driver getting lost and he calmly offered suggestions on what was best to accommodate the time delay. That got us back on track. He's a fast thinker and made decisions quickly, which saved me from having to think too much. On the wedding day which is a whirl wind anyway, the last thing you want is to have to handle problems.

And as for the photos of the two of us, G.E. has this amazing God-given gift to capture the love between two people on the most special day of their life! We'll forever be in his debt for showing us what our love looks like.

I liked G.E. the moment I called him. Right away on my very first phone call I could tell - this is different. He really cared about the photos and about being the right photographer for us. He asked me very good questions about what I liked and didn’t like about wedding photos to see if we were a good match for the best results.

The day of our wedding he arrived at the hotel room where I was getting ready. You hardly ever notice that he's actually taking photos. He captured all the important moments without being in the way or noticeable like when my dad came into the room and saw me all dressed in my gown for the first time G.E. caught all the action and my dad with a tear streaming down his eye. Imagine a wedding album filled with photos just like that. Well, that's what we have now!

The only complaint I have is that I decided not to have an engagement shoot with him but now I wish I had done that.

With G.E. you KNOW who your photographer will be (him) and you KNOW the photos you're seeing when you meet are his, not someone that used to work for him or may not be working for him by the time your wedding rolls around. This was important to me because I had actually booked another photographer a year in advance, a big studio who does lots of weddings in NYC, and then 4 weeks before my wedding they called to tell me the photographer was not working for them any more. Huh? They wanted to give me another photographer. So I asked to see that photographers pictures first and they didn't have any to show me! Huh? How can you have a photographer you book but no pictures to show of their work?

We went through wedding forums to see who other brides were talking about and one name kept popping up, G.E. Masana. We were well rewarded for our hunt to find the perfect photographer. G.E. is the consummate professional and AMAZINGLY talented photographer! The photos he got really captured our wedding, they’re really US and they’re so beautifully rendered. These aren’t just pictures, each one is like a little piece of art. We’re thrilled and happy to be able to recommend him to everyone we can!

Fantastic. I was researching photography to death, and when I got to G.E's site, my DH, who was looking over my shoulder, said Do it! We loved G.E.'s style and he was willing to travel to the Cape. I was willing to splurge on photos as I figure that is the one thing that you have forever. I was not disappointed. If I could rate him TEN stars, I would!!!

I did a ton of research on wedding photographer - in fact almost all my time spent on wedding planning. With so many amateur wedding photographers disguised as professionals, finding the right one was a challenge, believe me. My sister said I should check the knot winners and wedding wire brides choice winners but those looked more like popularity contests rather than who's really good. I even called a couple I saw listed as the world's top ten best in a photography magazine that's how crazy I got because my photos mean that much. I figured why not? One person recommended another and that's how I finally discovered G.E. Masana.

He's got a vision and a talent. The photos he showed me were different than what I had seen from others. These weren't just wedding photos. What I saw were pictures filled with feeling and special moments he caught. And they didn't look like the shots others get. They were beautiful just to look at. I don't know how to describe it. They were genuine.

I loved what he does so we booked him on the spot. Our wedding pictures are filled with little stories of our wedding he captured for us. They're beautiful to look at and I even gasped several times when I first saw them. He's a master craftsman at his trade, a true artist. I don't have a single regret going with him he was worth every penny and more. From where I was all confused looking through photographers to where I am now completely delighted and more, let me tell you this is one photographer you must do yourself a favor and check out for yourself if your photos are important to you.

We saw 5 photographers as we both hate the camera and I never normally like any of my pics. But G.E. smiled and told us he makes every one look great and that the reason we never liked how we looked in photos is because we probably never had a good photographer who knows how to photograph people. Well, he was actually telling us the truth! He knows how to photograph faces expertly!!! We both loved every picture and really enjoyed the whole process. It was fun. He said it would be because he doesn't torture you with making you pose all day. He got us being ourselves. So of course we had fun!!!

Prior to my wedding, I sent him a deck communicating wedding photos I liked which we discussed. In hindsight, that was just plain silly of me. The results of our photos were way better than the ones I sent him! They're unique to us and look a hundred times better than any other photos from other wedding photographers I had saved on my pinterest board. We couldn't be more thrilled.

We'll be sure to put out glowing recommendations for him to all our friends.

I had a horror story with another studio who I won't name but you probably heard of them. I received the pictures from my e-shoot and burst out in tears because they were so horrible. The pictures were blah he made us do stupid things like pretend we were flying away and voguing for the camera, and the sun was beaming on our heads where it looked like part of our heads was missing because it was white where the top of our heads should have been. Obviously their photographers didn't understand how lighting works in photography and wasn't as creative as they told us she'd be. I called the company crying and cancelled them for my wedding. They even had the nerve to tell me that they didn't think that the pictures were bad.

We found G.E. Masana because his name was mentioned everywhere we looked but we never checked him out before. Wish we had!!! We had an e-shoot with him and I was beyond happy with our pictures. They're pure art. And they're so us. Nothing fake or make believe.

Fast forward to our wedding photos and all I can say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and W-O-W. We had to take a break away from viewing the pictures and take a breath because we were overwhelmed. He captured such great moments and expressions that it wasn't posey or cheesy at all. It was all very natural and he got the strongest moments that touch us deep inside.

He was super fun / professional / talented / awesome / patient / passionate / enthusiastic. There was no awkwardness when taking photos. He accomodated us and had an extremely positive attitude. There was never a second when we doubted our decision to go with him. I highly recommend G.E. Masana for photography. If you are busy planning your wedding and really want someone who's going to put his heart into it and do his best work for you, look no further - just call G.E. and book him!

Hands down, G.E. Masana is the best photographer we've ever encountered. His talent is ginormous in the way he uniquely captured my and my husband's feelings and moments which are sure to be great memories for years. He has an amazing ability to make you feel comfortable resulting in natural images. You don't even feel you were being photographed, which makes the memory even better because all you remember when you look at his photos is how you felt. I look at my photos and know it's not a phony pose or fake moment, because every photo is authentic. My husband calls it "honest photography". I wish I had met G.E. years earlier so my older sister could've had him do her wedding. Her photographer didn't do anything near what G.E. accomplished for us and now she's envious!

Even though he was our photographer, we feel like G.E. was a part of the crazy family we have. He is really the best. The pics are AMAZING! Everyone who's seen them has been blown away. They're off the hook! Everyone at the wedding commented about G.E.'s amazing ability not to ever be noticed, but yet to seem to be there every time a great photo opportunity presented itself!!

We'll never forget that amazing day; and now through his photographs we will relive it each time we look at them. On retrospect, I would say that we made a lot of good choices concerning everyone we worked with but we both feel G.E. Masana was our best choice by far.

We would say to other couples looking for their photographer, to think hard on how these pictures will be around forever, and not only that, but that it is the photographer who ultimately is entrusted with WHICH of your memories will be captured and HOW those memories are depicted. Everyone has a camera but not everyone has the same skills or talent. So if you want great photos that stand out from the typical, you need to do yourself a big favor and check out G.E. Masana!

After reading reviews about wedding photographers online one after another where the best they could say was their photographer was on time (really people?) we stumbled upon a video review of a bride virtually bubbling over ecstatic about G.E. Masana.

I can't express how pleased we are with our engagement and our wedding pictures. They are truly to be treasured and cherished for a lifetime. We knew he was good, but didn't know just how good! He surpassed our expectations. Getting a great photographer was important to us because we wanted to make sure our money was well spent. The albums are absolutely fabulous. When I gave the albums to both my mom and dad, they were speechless. They remarked on the incredible design layout for each page how the pictures really told a story. He truly made the story come to life. Each time I show my pictures to friends or relatives they marvel at his work. It just doesn't compare with anyone else. He is are truly a talented artist, one we are truly grateful to have share in our day.

We're so very grateful to GE Masana. He's not the "typical" photographer making people stiffly pose or do juvenile meaningless things for the camera. He's got tons of experience, rolls with the punches and comes out on top! The photos he got are unlike anything we've seen from any other photographer. His work stands heads and shoulders above anyone in the area. His background as an artist really shows not just in his creative photos but in the very tasteful album design he custom created for us. What he's made for us is something that captures our feelings throughout the day, the fun we had, the passion we share and our love for each other and our families and an album of wedding photos that will forever be timeless.

We can't recommend him enough. If your photos are really important to you, you need to check him out. You won't regret it.

Okay so we went looking at eleven other photographers and couldn't find the quality we were looking for. We both work in media and know top quality photography when we see it and so we're choosy and great photos were a priority for us. But finding the kind of top quality we're used to seeing, among wedding photographers is difficult. That kind of talent usually end up being fashion photographers, so it was getting impossible to find and we were seriously considering doing without.

Then a colleague who works in publishing heard of our plight and recommended G.E. Masana since she had him as her wedding photographer. She couldn't say enough great things about him, so we checked him out. One look at his website and we both knew we probably found our photographer! It was a good find! He's impeccable. And what he creates is sheer artistry. He has a gift for art and it shows in every picture. We knew our search was over.

On the day of the our wedding he went above and beyond the call of duty. We had minor problems with every other vendor from the florist to the venue but not any issue whatsoever with G.E. Masana. He's so good at what he does that he knows what you want and need before you do!

Everyone has been commenting on how he went out of his way for every single picture. Speaking of the pictures, I can't even begin to say how pleased we are. They are beyond what most photographers we've seen are able to do even by the photographers who consider themselves artists (but really aren't). I knew we would be thrilled. He's amazing. Incredibly gifted, a delight to work with, and even my mother wanted to take him home :-)

Normally I'm skeptical of all 5 star reviews. But here I am giving one. And desrvedly so. G.E. Masana virtually made it the best day in my life! Other photographers I looked at promised they'd be "fun" get "great shots" but all I ever saw in their albums were not much more than snapshots and uninteresting photos of people. But now because of G.E.'s amazing talent I've got the sweetest photos you'd never dream of because you don't know what's going to happen that day and G.E. is great at capturing all sorts of unexpected little moments.

Here's one example. Like while we were all up on the floor dancing late into the party and no one was around their table, my grandfather gave my grandmom an impromptu kiss on her forehead and G.E. got a picture of that tender loving moment between them. No one else saw that happen. And you have to understand that my grandmom is dying and we're not going to be have her around much longer and they don't have too much time left together after almost 55 years. So a picture like that means so, so, SO much.

All I can say is OMG!!!! I don't have the words to express my joy over how incredible G.E. was. The story telling quality of our photos - beyond words! The quality of the photographs - exceptional! And he treated me and my husband David like gold. In a day and age where there are a thousand people with cameras running aorund calling themselves wedding photographers, if you want a TRUE photographer with solid chops and the expertise to back it up and deliver high quality images you won't get from anyone anywhere else, get G.E. We found G.E. through a friend who works in the wedding industry who told us that he's one of the better photographers in New York City. And let me tell you, he is.

What can I say? Breathtaking photos that stand apart from every one elses. And that's what we wanted because to be honest, most photographers are all the same. But not him. Not only did G.E. get the highest quality pictures, and significantly emotionally charged pictures of us and our families through out the day at that, but the way he took care of us before, during and even now after the wedding day was and is superb. He thinks of everything and takes you under his wing and takes the best care of you. We were blown away and still are as we look at each pictures he got. Worth every penny.

After choosing a spectacular wedding venue such as the River Cafe, we knew that we also needed to choose a spectacular photographer. We wanted somebody that not only had the experience required but also was passionate and unique; we found all of that in Jack. After seeing his work online, I remember telling my husband, “This is the photographer I want and there are no other options for now because I already think he is the best in NY.” That’s how strongly I felt about his work without actually knowing him yet.

Jack is so talented and his expertise and professionalism exceeded our expectations. He is a perfectionist and he displays a true passion for his work. He is so careful and proud of each detail of the wedding photography process, and this is reflected in his final product. Jack has a way of capturing the classic beauty of New York’s architecture and creating an intimate moment that is part of any romance.

We are so proud and pleased with his magnificent and unique work; we just got our wedding albums and the compliments are already overflowing. We couldn't be happier with our “one of a kind” wedding albums and will continue to recommend him to every bride & groom-to-be we know. He is just amazing and extraordinary.

Finding a photographer was one of the hardest decisions we had to make throughout the entire wedding planning process. I work for a major publisher and knew I wanted our wedding photographs to look like they belonged in a magazine. Finding the right photographer to meet these high expectations was challenging to say the least. We really lucked out with Jack. He is extremely professional and the passion he has for his work really shows. He is an absolute talent and so unique at what he does. From the moment we met Jack one year before our wedding (we booked him shortly after that) to the day of the wedding, he was spectacular. The nicest, most honest person you will ever meet. Not only did Jack produce unbelievable pictures that, according to some were "magazine quality," but he was warm, friendly, and always caught the moment at the right time. I had no idea he was taking some of the pictures that I received which made for an even greater experience once I viewed all my pictures. And - when I say "all my pictures," I mean all 700+ of them! We are so pleased with the quality and quanity of the pictures. Not only if he help choose the pictures for our album, but we had our storybook album hand delivered within 2 months. 2 MONTHS. Thank you! From the bottom of our hearts, you made this day to remember that much easier.

My husband and I married one year ago in a fall wedding on Long Island.

I had received a few emails from G.e. with samples of his portfolio and immediately fell in love with his work! His style and attention to detail surpassed anything I had ever seen. Without hesitation my husband and I met with G.e. and booked him for our wedding day! He was the ONLY photographer we met with. From what we had seen from his web site portfolio and his blogs I had no doubt that I had made the right decision.

I left everything in G.e. hands on our wedding day! It was perfect! He captured everything I dreamed of and more! Our photos are amazing!!! To this day people are still talking about our photos and how "different" and "beautiful" they are.

And, we received all of our photos on CD so quickly...people were shocked at how fast we had them.

It was a long hunt to find a photographer to meet our needs. We both hated all of the same old posed, fake smile pictures found in typical wedding albums. Our goal was to find someone willing to do something unique, candid, with more of an artistic approach. We met several photographers offering us a great package including tons of "stuff" in their prices, but none of them could offer us the artistry of GE. After hearing of our difficulty finding someone, a colleague gave us GE's website, and with one look, we knew we had to have him do our wedding! He was more than our budget, but after some deliberation we realized the photos are the only things you get to keep forever to remind you of that special day. He was worth every cent and more!
He was professional, personable, and more talented than we could have wished for. On top of this, his presence was barely noticeable, in fact you would almost mistake him for a guest if he wasn't holding his camera.
After we saw the slideshow of photos online when it was over, we couldn't wait to see the work of art he was going to create for us with the album.It was as if you could feel the emotion coming from every shot. The album is most beautiful album we have ever seen. It looks like pictures you would see in a magazine, and we could not be more pleased. We will definitely be calling GE again in the future for any events we want captured forever!

G.E. is the consummate artist and professional. He has a keen eye for detail and did a remarkable job in positioning for, and capturing, the essence of our ceremony. It's often difficult to translate the emotion of a wedding day into a photograph--to distill the magnitude and grandeur of the act of pledging your life to another and GE was able to capture it all in his photos. We are over-joyed by our photos and look forward to looking at them again and again over the years to come.

Finding a wedding photographer ( a really good one) was a daunting task! First I looked on some popular sites but everyone looked the same and we didn't want cheesy similar pictures we had seen at other weddings, we wanted our real moments captured honestly.

In comes GE Masana and boom! GOOSEBUMPS!! The man is awesome at seeing fleeting moments and capturing them. We're overjoyed.

The only reason I give him 4.5 stars for flexibility is because he's such a perfectionist and has his ways of getting results, which were great but if you feel you need to be totally in control telling the photographer every moment what to do, then he's not the photographer for you. He KNOWS what to do before you even tell him! THANK YOU, THANK YOU GE!!!

We wanted an experienced photographer that would be able to capture the special moments and emotions. So many so called photographers out there don't have much experience or aren't trained to take photographs in real time. That makes inexperienced photographers more likely to do trendy shots, and we didn't want to do the jumping pose that you see so frequently advertised.

G.E. is really easy to work with. We loved how he was able to turn photos in our studio apartment into art. He is creative and his photographs are unique. Every couple is different and he is able to capture their true bond on camera versus copying the latest pose. Knowing he was doing the photography gave us one less thing to worry about on the day of.

I, the bride, was so stressed before the wedding that I knew my pictures wouldn't look care free while I prepared. However, he was still able to get some decent pictures of me even while I gritted my teeth.

We got some beautiful couple shots and pictures of happy moments. It was a painstaking process narrowing down the 217 album quality photos he selected to 150 for the album. We loved so many of them.

If you're looking for someone experienced, talented, and easy to work with G.E. is your man. He is pricey but that's because he's good. We could have very easily paid half and settled for one of those chain companies that has average photographers and gives you decent picture. However, you hopefully only do this once and we wanted to make sure it was documented with as much loving care as it was planned.
