Absolutely stunning! Exceeded all expectations!
I truly cannot say enough about the Art of Imagination team, just book them. From the moment we began working with Deborah, she took the time to truly understand our vision and brought it to life in ways that surpassed all our expectations. As someone who is notoriously indecisive, it was so relieving to just let go and fully trust her decisions. She brought everything together in a way we could never have imagined!
Every detail, from the floral arrangements and table settings to the lighting and lounge furniture, was executed flawlessly and created the ambiance we were envisioning. Our guests were absolutely in awe of the decor (as were we), and we received countless compliments on how beautiful everything looked.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have met and worked with Deborah, and would 100% recommend Art of Imagination to anyone in need of wedding/event production. You will not be disappointed! -

AOI was one of the first vendors we met with after getting engaged since they have done so much previous work at our venue, Room 1520. My husband is a DJ and saw the work Deborah and team did at that venue and he KNEW he had to have the globe lighting that they offer for that space.
From the moment we met Deborah, she asked thoughtful questions about our vision and how she could help bring that to life in partnership with our floral and decor team. Even at our walkthrough after Deborah heard about some final details she suggested a small revision on our drapery, and it turned out perfectly!
The entire AOI was always kind, responsive and worked well with our other vendors, and we can't thank them enough for being a part of our big day! -

We had a great experience working with Deb and Art of Imagination for our wedding on 10/15/22 at the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center. Deb has incredible expertise and she is so thoughtful about bringing your vision to life. From the drapery and platform in our ceremony space, to a disco ball installation to hiring a custom neon sign, she helped us make our wedding look chic and stunning! She worked with our florist to pull off the dance floor disco ball installation and we're so grateful for that attention to detail. Deb and her team were responsive during the planning stage and attentive during the walk through. Deb provided suggestions and was incredibly positive to work with. She knows the Sculpture Garden inside and out! -

We hired Art of Imagination for uplighting and drapery. They far exceeded our expectations. The venue is beautiful in itself but once the drapery and uplighting was added it became a night to remember. They were very professional and attentive to our needs and wants. -

Art of Imagination did the decor for our daughter's wedding at Rockwell on the River. Deborah and her team transformed a warehouse space into a magical wedding reception. The draping, lighting, chandeliers and greenery made the space look so stunning, it took my breath away. My daughter was so thrilled it made her cry tears of joy. It absolutely exceeded all expectations. -

Enthusiastic and Professional Wedding Decor
Deborah and the team at Art of Imagination were a pleasure to work with for our wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center. Our relationship with Deborah spanned nearly two years from the initial introduction to the day of our wedding due to the pandemic and a wedding reschedule. Throughout this time, Deborah and her team were professional, responsive, friendly, and invested in our vision for how everything would look.
As we navigated a wedding reschedule and various changes, Deborah seamlessly went with the flow and provided valuable suggestions and also guidance. Her experience and familiarity with the space put us greatly at ease that the decor would turn out fantastic.
Every time we spoke with Deborah, whether for a walk-through, a quick call about the plans, or sudden changes, she was always enthusiastic and personable and attentive. The process felt collaborative and she was present during our wedding to ensure all went smoothly. The wedding decor, lighting, and atmosphere truly were wonderful and we have Art of Imagination to thank for that. -

Our wedding at Bridgeport Art Center would not have been the same without Art of Imagination. Deborah and her team knew the space so well and recommended various additions that made the space spectacular on our big day. We were supposed to get married in June of 2021 and postponed the wedding due to COVID-19. Throughout the initial planning process, to postponing, to re-planning the wedding a year later, AOI made our process easy, smooth, and took all of the chaos and guessing out of the entire process! Deborah and her team are impeccable at making your vision come to life. They listen to every detail you provide and make sure to ask for your opinion on a question before they provide their feedback. We had to postpone our wedding a year because of Covid and AOI was accommodating and understanding when our entire color palette changed. Highly recommend using them as a one stop vendor for floral, lighting, decor. I had very minimal to take home with me the night of my wedding, it was one less vendor to manage, and the end product was absolutely stunning! Deb made my vision come alive where it counted with minimal, rustic details and a few grand ‘pieces’ such as my arch and cascading bouquet. Plus, during an insane wedding and event season I always felt like I was a priority and fully listened to in my consult visits. My guests are still talking about the decor and how beautiful it all was! -

A beautiful day
I am so glad I worked with Art of Imagination for our wedding at Bridgeport Art Center. Deborah’s intimate knowledge of the Skyline Loft was so helpful and her creativity made our wedding reception so special. It was her idea to have a live musician stationed in the elevator, who serenaded wedding guests as they rode up to the 5th floor/the Skyline Loft. This was one of the most talked about parts of our wedding! AOI also has beautiful pieces to rent like copper bath tubs to hold beer and a CHEERS sign that we set up in front of the band. Deborah met with my parents and I multiple times, both at her studio and Bridgeport, which allowed me the time to refine my vision and decide what I exactly wanted. Working with Deborah, Sandra and their team was literally the best thing my husband and I could have done!!! They completely transformed our wedding venue, Room 1520, into something out of a dream! They really listened to what our vision was and then amped it up to something even more incredible and magical. The first time I got a chance to see their creativity come to life at the venue left me completely speechless. Also, during the process leading up to the big day, they made me feel completely at ease and always had a "can-do, do not worry about anything" attitude. I cannot recommend them enough!!! I don’t know where to begin with this amazing company. Art of Imagination went above and beyond to create my dream wedding. The decor was phenomenal and so beautifully designed. Everything from the florals to the backdrop was perfect. Deborah is amazing to work with and is a true expert when it comes to wedding decor. In my ideas board, I had a little swingset with florals as an inspiration photo, but never actually thought it could be done at the venue. Deborah made it happen, and it was such a cute photo opportunity for the guests! I can't recommend her services enough! -

Awesome, creative, talented people!
Art of Imagination was wonderful to work with for our wedding! We got married at Bridgeport Art Center on 5/11/19 and decided to go with AOM for string lights and décor. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and Deborah was very nice and understood our vision for the day. With Deborah’s help, we decided on string lights, uplighting, and the Curato tub for the bar. I really wanted garland/ greenery hung up but was limited on budget, so I asked if they would be willing to hang garland that I provided. They were able to work with me and come up with a plan that we were both happy with. Sandra attended the final walk through at our venue and helped fine-tune the final details. She was awesome to work with, was comfortable with the venue and all our vendors, and knew exactly what she was doing. On the day of, everything looked beautiful! The lights were perfect, the tub was definitely a showpiece and the greenery was amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about all of the décor. AOM even threw in a globe light wall behind out place- card table for us! We did not know they were doing this and it was such an awesome surprise for us on the day. We are very happy we hired AOM and cannot recommend them enough! They are amazing at their craft and really care about making your vision come to life! -

The Art of Imagination can truly create something exquisite out of a plain space. Deborah has been very professional and she will make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for. The team is also very handy and professional, they work really fast and are very attentive to details.

The Art of Imagination has a large selection of drape styles, up lights, overall room lighting and they customize everything depending on the client's preference.

When my husband and I entered the ballroom to get married, the only thing both of us thought was that we just wanted time to take in how beautiful the room was. That was definitely thanks to Art of Imagination - they can transform any room into a place where dreams come true! From stage covers to draping (our venue, Stan Mansion, has gorgeous columns that AoI draped PERFECTLY), to beautiful soft lighting throughout the ceremony and reception, AoI absolutely created a dream atmosphere. Deborah and Sandra were absolutely wonderful to work with! Thank you all so much!! -
Rachel Sent on 12/16/2017Art of Imagination was the preferred decorating vendor at our wedding venue, Room 1520. And after seeing some photos of what they can do, it's no wonder why.
My husband and I wanted to keep our wedding pretty minimalist, so we probably didn't really challenge their creativity too much, but we were thrilled with how things turned out. We told Deborah we wanted stringed lights, a lighted backdrop for our "altar" and behind our sweetheart table, and candles everywhere, and her team happily delivered. They even set up the lights and backdrop a few days early since there weren't other events happening there before our wedding, so we got to see them when we were dropping things off for the big day.
The AoI crew was on site right after our wedding ended to start breaking everything down, which I'm sure the venue manager appreciated.
We were thrilled with how our wedding looked and have no doubt that Art of Imagination can realize any wedding vision you may have. -

This room was so exquisite and it had a chic feel to it. This really made the room and we had so many complements about it. Everybody that walked threw the door was in awe with what they saw. Are room looked like a platinum wedding on a shoe string budget. God Bless Deborah and her crew!!!!

Art of Imagination provided the decor for our wedding at Loft on Lake in Chicago. All of the decor ended up being beautiful including vines along wooden beams on the ceiling, white draping as a ceremony and sweetheart table backdrop, a beautiful white aisle runner, and even two chairs for the horah! Everything looked exactly how we wanted it to look and I am so happy they made our vision become a reality! -

We had a great experience working with Deb and everyone from Art of Imagination for our wedding. They were a preferred vendor for our venue, and our caterer also recommended AOI having worked with Deb previously. We used AOI for decor and florals, and the process of choosing everything was seamless despite not being local to Chicago and having to postpone a year wide to Covid. Debra was recommended to us by our venue and I am so glad she was! We were looking for a few simple, but beautiful design elements to add softness and romance to our ceremony and reception and the outcome as breathtaking and exactly what we hoped for! Despite our day being what I imagine is a fairly small job for this group, we were given amazing attention. Debra was so responsive and helpful, offering assistance in any way she could. We had some weather issues very last minute and she was there to help take care of it! We added vinyl in-between our drapery and it truly kept our space warm and dry, and you couldn't see it! The globe lighting at our reception made the dance floor so fun! It was the perfect compliment to the venue. From the start, meeting Deborah was a warm and patient, made us feel comfortable, was engaging and listened to all our ideas while adding great suggestions from her past experiences and projects.
We felt more like family rather than another couple or company who needed pipes and drapes with lighting. She not only listened to our ideas, but on the the day of the event, transformed the rooms into pieces of art and even threw in a few extra bells and whistles that made it even more special. I just got married at Prairie Production and as much as I loved the airiness and space, I wanted to add a little "umph" to it since it was NYE.
Deborah was so excited and enthusiastic brimming with ideas - it was so infectious! She is truly a creative treasure! Deborah and her staff were very accommodating for doing a few walkthroughs to discuss concepts and ideas and also worked in my budget.
As I was discussing decor with Deborah, my groom was having a blast with Deborah's staff - they are cool and they clearly know what they are doing!
The execution of everything wedding day was stunning and breathtaking! I received so many compliments from our guests, many of which were accustomed to weddings at a hotel or banquet hall.
Each section of our space had a different "look"...and when we had to do a room flip, Deborah amazed me again with transforming the space in such a short period of time!
If you are planning an event and don't want to spend egregious amounts of cash with vendors like Frost or Ronsley (not like there is anything wrong with them, they were just WAYYYYY out of my price range) please please please consider Art of Imagination! -

Deborah and her team at Art of Imagination were great! My initial meeting with Deborah got me so excited for wedding planning. She is a wealth of ideas and knowledge about event planning. We added LED uplighting to the standard package, to highlight the architecture of our venue, to great effect. As a whole, the lighting absolutely transformed our outdoor space, and made for a magical evening!
