Fantastic wedding music - couldn't recommend more

We booked the Ariel dance band for our wedding, based on a friend's introduction and reviewing their videos. We were a bit nervous, having never seen them live before. However, their performance blew us away and was one of the best parts of our wedding! People were dancing all night, from young to old. They learned a number of songs that we asked for, and even let them bride's father sit in on a song that was meaningful to our family. They were funky, electric and professional. 100% recommend.

Our experience with The Heartbeat Dance Band was outstanding. The music was excellent, and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band’s energy and performance. Lawrence did a great job as MC, adjusting smoothly when our schedule shifted and checking in with us regularly. He was both fun and professional throughout.

Liz was also wonderful to work with. She stood out from other band managers during the selection process with your organization, responsiveness, and professionalism. You made us feel comfortable throughout the entire planning and payment process.

Danced The Night Away

The Heartbeat Band killed it. From the outset, it was clear we were dealing with a professional operation. Liz was extremely detailed and worked with our planner to map out the day to the minute. It was easy to give the band the songs we wanted and the songs we didn’t. Liz also did a great job applying some light pressure when she didn’t think we were making good decisions. She was extremely forthright which, although jarring at times, was ultimately appreciated. Additionally, the band added a few extra songs to their repertoire which we greatly appreciate. And, the band reached out requesting to speed up one of the songs for the processional. This was a good idea and speaks to the band’s professionalism and commitment to putting on a good show for all involved.

The band’s energy was incredible and kept people on the dance floor all night long. We received so many compliments from guests about the band. The saxophonist in particular was amazing. Our one bit of criticism is that we specifically asked Liz/the band to not talk too much with the crowd. So we were extremely surprised when the band leader did a whole “pump up” routine before our first dance. After our planner talked with him the editorializing ended.

In general, the band was great and clearly knew what they were doing. Thank you, Liz and the Heartbeat Band, for helping make our wedding so special!

Best band!

The band was absolutely incredible! The singers were phenomenal, full of energy, amazing voices, and such great stage presence. Every performance had our guests completely engaged, and by the second song the entire wedding was on the dance floor.

At one point we had the biggest love train I have ever seen. It felt like every single person joined in, and the energy in the room was electric. We received endless compliments all night and even after the wedding about how amazing the band was. They truly made the night unforgettable.

The quality of service was top notch from start to finish. They were organized, easy to work with, and made sure every detail was perfect. Their responsiveness before the wedding made planning simple and stress free, and their professionalism showed in every interaction and performance.

In terms of value, they exceeded every expectation. Our guests kept saying it felt like being at a live concert. And their flexibility stood out too, they read the crowd perfectly and adjusted seamlessly to keep the party going strong all night.

We could not be happier with our decision. The band brought so much life, joy, and energy to our wedding. If you want a full dance floor and memories your guests will talk about for years, this is the band to hire.

Amazing band all around

We hired the Heartbeat Band for our wedding. The band was super energetic, played high quality music, was perfectly coordinated with the venue during the night, learned our songs for us, and fairly priced. Liz from Ariel Music was very diligent at ensuring everything was planned ahead of time and ran smoothly. We would strongly recommend them to our family and friends!

Amazing wedding band!

We hired Ariel after wanting to hire their sister band Heartbeat who we have seen play at other family members weddings. Heartbeat was not available and we decided to go with Ariel, and we were not disappointed! They lived up to the hype and brought great energy all night and our guests loved them! They did everything exactly the way we asked and did awesome with learning our first dance songs. They were also very flexible with our start times due to a rain delay for our ceremony. Liz was extremely kind and understanding and very responsive! She was so easy to work with and is extremely professional and offered her professional opinions when needed. We would hire Ariel again in a heartbeat!

Incredible Wedding Band!

We couldn’t have asked for a better band than Heartbeat/Ariel Music for our big day! From the moment they started playing, they brought an unbelievable level of energy and had everyone on the dance floor all night. Their crowd interaction was fantastic—guests of all ages were engaged, dancing, and having the time of their lives.

The lead singer Lawrence was a standout—not only an amazing performer but also genuinely funny and warm. Meeting him the day of the wedding instantly put us at ease, and he brought smiles to our faces even before the music began. He and the rest of the band truly created moments, including our first dance, which was a nerve-wracking moment for us but as soon as they started playing, we felt at ease and excited.

From a logistics standpoint, Liz, their CEO, was easy to work with and always responsive.

Heartbeat Dance Band/Ariel Music truly elevated our wedding and helped turn it into the celebration we always dreamed of. We’re still hearing from guests about how much fun they had thanks to the music. If you’re considering them—don’t hesitate.

Best decision!

Booking Heartbeat Dance Band from Ariel Music and Events was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding!! From start to finish, they brought incredible energy, professionalism, and talent that had everyone on the dance floor all night long. They have a wide range of songs to choose from when creating a song recommendation list, and even learned our first dance song that came out just 3 weeks before the date of our wedding!

Liz was so great to work with right from the start. She made every part of the planning process straight forward and stress free! Many of my friends are also in the process of planning their weddings and are wanting to switch their music plans to book Heartbeat Dance Band! Would absolutely recommend them :)

Spectacular

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Ariel Music & Events. We had the band Heartbeat for our wedding and they made the night spectacular. All our family and friends kept asking where we found this band, and how unbelievable they were.

We worked closely with Liz to build the perfect timeline for the evening to integrate dancing and fun for the guests throughout the dinner and entire evening.

Ariel will far exceed your expectations

This is the second time I have booked Ariel. The first time for my daughter's wedding in 2018 & now in September 2024 for our corporate gala. They have only gotten better through the years. I have gotten so many compliments from both events. There are enough praises for this ban. From Liz organizing and setting the stage for the band's professional & highly talented entertainers. I would highly recommend Ariel for any event.

Amazing wedding band!!

We used the Heartbeat Dance Band for our June 2024 wedding and it was amazing! People were coming up to us all night complimenting the band. Leading up to the wedding, communication with Liz, the band manager, was easy and thorough! We were able to detail exactly what we were looking for and get quick responses on any questions we had. The best wedding band!

Heartbeat was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding band! Working with them was ahead of the wedding was great – Liz is super organized and professional. She meticulously planned with us through a detailed timeline and song list, ensuring everything ran smoothly. They easily accommodated our custom song requests and were highly responsive to our questions.

The band brought an incredible energy to the reception and brought the dance floor to life. The saxophonist in particular was amazing - our guests couldn't stop complimenting him! Ariel Music&Events

I recently got married at Westchester NY, and had an AMAZING experienced with the Ariel band from "Ariel Music&Events". If you are looking for a professional, experienced, and exciting band for your wedding, then I will highly recommend this band with no hesitation! The band manager Liz listened to our needs and requests at beginning, and she always made herself available either through phone calls, text messages, or zoom meetings. She even provided us with 12 pages long song lists that her band was able to perform in live, which made it super easy for us to choose from. In addition, Liz does not charge extra when I requested to play specific songs that were not from her list. She genuinely just wants to make my wedding day as special as it could be, not to rip me off with any reason to add additional cost to the bill. I truly felt how much she cared and wanted to do her best to make us happy. The MC Ashley was also a doll. She was nice and easy to work with when I asked her to go over the reception procedures with me. When the big day came, I was truly blown away! From the piano and violin solos during the ceremony and cocktail hours, to the whole 10 piece band performing live during the entire reception, every single moment was perfect! The music flew perfectly based on the timeline of the day and we had an absolute blast dancing and celebrating with our family and friends. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank the whole team from Ariel Music&Event because you guys helped to make my dreams came true and I will never forget that day!!!

Best Night Ever!

After booking our wedding date with our church and venue, the next most important thing on our list was the band. After attending several weddings that Ariel played at, we were SO happy to learn that they would be available for our own wedding! Our wedding guests LOVED the band and everyone was up and dancing the entire night! The responsiveness from Liz was super important for a stressed-out bride, and the band was fun and interactive the entire reception. They played all of our song requests, were responsible for ensuring that all of the important aspects of the reception ran smoothly, and they even took photos of us to share after our big day! HIGHLY recommend booking Ariel for your next event!

BEST Wedding Band our guests had ever heard!!!!!!

A wedding band is make or break, and Ariel Dance Band surpassed every expectation!!! All of our guests could not stop asking about the band-- even weeks after the wedding! They were so impressed and said they had never heard a better band at a wedding before!! The musicians were beyond phenomenal and they played perfectly to the crowd. They had such a wonderful array of songs, from oldie classics to upbeat modern tunes-- truly they did it all! We were on our feet all night and I guarantee people would have danced with them until 5AM if they could have!! Cannot recommend enough, snap them up for your date ASAP!

This band is super talented and was a big hit at our wedding!
Liz was very organized and communicative throughout the the process from ceremony, cocktail hour and reception!
The band was super lively with the crowd and had amazing energy! I loved when the band came to the dance floor and danced with the guests! It made the whole experience so lively and personable!

amazing! great band

Amazing wedding!

Ariel music and events gave an incredible performance at our wedding! Their ability to dynamically switch between genres and styles was uncanny. They were lots of fun, and we received multiple compliments from the guests about how they added to the experience. The sound engineers were present for the entire gig and immediately on top of any technical issues. Ariel Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding, delivering an unforgettable night of fun and celebration. Heartbeat Rocks!!!

Liz, you guys were awesome!!! Heartbeat had our party amped up the whole night. Clare and I received tons of compliments about the band and I feel bad that I didn't thank each band member personally. Lawrence was absolutely the best and the sax player blew us all away.

Quality of musicianship was off the charts, positive vibes coming from everyone on the stage, to the great mc'ing from Lawrence and the singers were crazy awesome!!!! Book This Band!!

Where to begin besides saying WOW!!! We booked Heartbeat Dance Band for our wedding and they were PHENOMENAL! The dance floor wasn’t empty once the entire night! Our guests were blown away by how much fun the band was and are still telling us how much they loved the music . . so much so that TWO couples who attended our wedding later booked Heartbeat Dance Band for their weddings!

The energy, the music choice, the sax . . . I could go on and on. We’ve been to many weddings before and after and haven’t seen a band like them. They read the room and your crowd to ensure everyone is having the time of their lives. Liz was also phenomenal to work with and super easy to get in touch with. Best Band Ever!

Heartbeat Dance Band was absolutely amazing start to finish. I searched long and hard to find a band that was lively, talented, a good value, fun, and had brass elements, and we are overjoyed that we found HDB. Liz was so organized and helpful in communicating and mapping out the day. Everything was personalized to our wants as a couple, and it made the reception so special. During our wedding, we were simply blown away by the voices and musical ability of the band. Our guests could not stop raving, everyone was on the dance floor from the very first song, and it was an absolutely amazing night. If you're seeing this, run don't walk to book them for your event!

Book the Heartbeat Band!!

The Heartbeat Dance Band performed at our wedding this past labor day weekend and we could not have been happier! In the two dozen weddings I have been at with bands, they were far and away the best I have ever heard. We had no less than a dozen guests ask for the band’s name so they could recommend them for an upcoming wedding. We can’t recommend them enough for anyone considering a live band for their wedding.

Bandleader/emcee Lawrence set the tone right away as a true master of ceremonies. He handled introductions and transitions as if he had known our families his whole life. Truly a class act and a hilarious character, keeping the night on schedule while adding some humor throughout.
We hired a 9 piece band including horns for the reception, as well as a duet of Sax and piano for cocktail hour.The band sounded incredible throughout the evening, mixing motown classics and modern hits with ease. Shoutout to Bill on the saxaphone in particular for crushing it and keeping the energy high. The band kept the crowd engaged throughout the night, coming on to the dancefloor to play sax and guitar on a couple of occasions.The vocals and instrumentals were all fantastic. I had aunts and uncles come up to me during the reception to tell me the band sounded like the original LP as the covered classics. We probably had over 100 people on the dance floor for much of the 2 hour main set. In case it wasn’t clear that our guests couldn’t get enough of this band, they literally chanted for an encore, with the band delivering their request for “One more song, One more song!” by rocking the house with a rendition of “Shout!”.

Behind the scenes, Liz was incredible helping us navigate figuring out what package made sense for us and helping us plan out the evening as we got closer to our big day. Everything went smoothly on the day of the event. The Heartbeat Dance Band professionalism is second to none and they made our wedding day a huge success. I hope one of our friends hires them at their wedding just so we can see them perform again! Can’t recommend them enough and wish them best of luck in the future.

My wife and i booked Ariel music and events for our wedding, they were amazing, all the guests kept saying how good the band was, all our requests were full field .

The Best Band!

We first saw the Heartbeat band at our friend's wedding in 2019 and they were just as we remembered 3 years later! They bring so much fun and entertainment to the dance floor and our guests could not stop raving about them! If you are looking for a band to keep the energy up all night long, look no further! Liz was wonderful to work with and coordinated everything exactly how I had envisioned from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception - it was perfection! Amazing Band- Hit with our Guests!

My daughters wedding was May 7th 2022 and we were excited to have a band. The Heartbeat Dance band was outstanding! Very professional group that knows how to entertain and bring magic to the event. The dance floor was packed all night and they completely exceeded my expectations!

You need to hire this band for you next event

All I can say is "What a Night"!!!! The band absolutely killed it and made it such an amazing wedding! Our wedding was a predominately greek wedding I was nervous that no one would dance, but it was quite the opposite. We couldn't get people to stay in their seats! We have received many compliments from our guests about the band and Lawrence. My grandfather loved all the Frank Sinatra songs, compliments from him are hard to come by! A few newly engaged friends have also asked me for the band name to look into for their upcoming nuptials. A special thank you to Liz the organizer for working closely with us to make for the perfect timeline and song list, it really is a night we will never forget. Working with Liz was such a pleasure, I truly cannot express how grateful I am for her guidance. The Ariel Music Band made our wedding a great success! Our best man even made some jokes about the saxophone player in his speech. It was the perfect night, with the most perfect music.

Great entertainment they work with your needs very accommodating fast responses to questions. We used DJ Mike for our wedding and he exceded our expectations came up to me and my wife multiple times throughout service to make sure things were going as we liked. DJ mike had no problem adding additional Dance for maid of honor and her son. Highly recommended Airel entertainment.

The Best Wedding Band!

5 star band! Highly Recommend!

Booking Ariel for our wedding was a very smooth and straightforward process. Liz helped us from the very start and she was always extremely helpful and friendly. We had several long telephone calls and emails prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. She also liaised with the venue coordinator to make sure everything would run smoothly. Liz was extremely organized and thorough (which we love), she listened to our ideas and wishes and was very accommodating, and she also gave us advice and feedback as we went along. We had some special requests and she was very happy to help accommodate those too. Overall, the whole planning and pre-wedding communication was excellent.

The band was absolutely amazing! All excellent musicians, and we can say that for sure because we are professional musicians ourselves! Frosty (band leader) arrived at the venue early, he was very calm and was extremely helpful the entire night, playing, singing, MCing & working the sound board. He is an excellent pianist, vocalist, has great energy and he even played his trumpet on a couple of songs (whilst playing the piano at the same time!).

Akua and Kevin (singers) sounded INCREDIBLE. The whole band looked lovely (Akua looked stunning in a beautiful dress). The dance floor was packed the entire night, the repertoire they chose was great, Kevin is an amazing singer as well as a great entertainer, always engaging with the crowd.

We believe that having live music is always the way to go, but it is very important to choose the right performers who have the talent, attitude, energy and experience to put on a good party – and this band has it all! Thank you Ariel Music and Events!

Awesome band our guests keep talking about!

We could not be more thankful for Ariel Music and Events' talent that entertained our guests all evening and night long. We hired Ariel a year prior to our event and worked closely with Liz throughout the process while previewing the band at a few of their showcases. With the many years of experience and variety of events that came along with Ariel, we were able to plan the perfect event down to the minute. The extensive/growing list of songs in their repertoire allowed us to hand select the songs that meant the most to us and would keep our guests entertained. The addition of a few "learned" songs really help us to personalize the night.

Ariel provided the musical talent for our ceremony (singer and keys), cocktail hour (keys and sax) and for our reception (8 piece band). Beyond the music talent that was center-stage, we appreciated the technicians that were on-hand ensuring the evening was executed flawlessly ensuring the sound and lighting continued to fit the space.

We cannot thank Ariel and Liz enough for pulling out all of their musical stops to make our night so special. The dance floor was packed all night and the compliments on the band continue to roll in. We hope to see them at another event soon!

The best!

The Heartbeat Dance Band was AMAZING! We can’t say enough positive things about them. Either could our guests! Within the first 10 minutes, I had people coming up to me telling me how great they were. The dance floor was packed ALL night long. Liz, the band director was so great to work with. Any requests we had, she made them happen. Lawrence the MC was awesome. He was on top of everything. We knew right away we were in good hands. The band members engaged with the crowd and made it so fun for everyone. We were very picky when it came to choosing a band and we definitely made the right choice. The Heartbeat Dance Band is one of a kind. I can only hope to go to another wedding where they are playing!!

Best wedding band ever!

Ariel played at our outdoor tent wedding in central New Jersey, and they did not disappoint. My wife and I watched many highlight videos hoping to find a band that was both lively and affordable. Ariel was recommended through our wedding planner and once we watched their showcase highlights on YouTube, it was apparent they would be a great fit (little did we know, they were the absolute perfect fit). The entire 9 piece band, with multiple singers and a large brass section, was exactly what we were looking for. Ariel's management was thoroughly enjoyable and easy to work with during the planning of our wedding. There were multiple events that my wife and I were unable to attend to see Ariel perform live prior to our wedding, so it wasn't until our reception that we had the pleasure of watching them play. During our cocktail hour we had two of Ariel's musicians play, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable hour prior to the reception. Once the actual reception began Ariel brought tremendous energy and really got the crowd excited to celebrate on what turned out to be the most amazing day. Our wedding song was definitely a new one for the band ('Jackie & Wilson' by Hozier) but they did such an outrageous job . Because we ended up having beautiful weather, all of our guests were having a great time and the band really fed off of their energy as well. Since our wedding was on September 21st, the band concluded the night playing September by Earth, Wind & Fire and it was the most fun I've had out on a dance floor at any wedding. I was thoroughly impressed by how professional all the members of the band were. They were critical in making the day out be an incredible experience for everyone involved. For anyone looking for a band with a extremely diverse catalog, phenomenal energy, and so much talent, look no further than Ariel. They really helped make it one of the best days of our lives.

Absolutely phenomenal - best band I've heard

WOW. Ariel Music & Events (and especially the Heartbeat Dance Band) were PHENOMENAL. We are still on a high from our wedding and how amazing the band was. My husband and I knew we wanted a great band for our wedding reception, and Heartbeat delivered in every way. They blew us (and all of our guests) away with their energy and their talent. The energy on our dance floor was something I had never seen at a wedding before. The dance floor was packed the entire night - from the very beginning until the very end of the reception. This was largely due to the quality and energy of the Heartbeat Band. They knew exactly how to get the crowd going, and they knew which songs to play during which times in the night. They were truly the best wedding band I have ever seen in my life.

Lawrence and the rest of the Heartbeat Band were flawless on our wedding day. I cannot count how many compliments we received about the band. People not only commented the night of our wedding, but we are STILL getting compliments on the band nearly 2 months later. Several of our friends have even asked for the name of the band, so they can reserve them for their upcoming weddings.

Working with Ariel Music was extremely easy - a special thank you to Liz for making sure everything was perfect for our wedding day. Working with her was seamless, she is extremely professional and genuinely wanted us to have a perfect day. We HIGHLY recommend this band to our family, friends, and anyone else reading this.

Fantastic experience all around

We had a limited set up time since our ceremony was where the band would be. They were able to work with us and the venue to get it done. The band was the heart and soul of our wedding. The number one thing that my guests told me was how amazing the band was! They were unbelievable! Lawrence was the MC and he rocked it! He sang on the dance floor with us! Ariel performed at our June 2018 wedding and they were phenomenal! We are pretty picky when it comes to good music and we can honestly say that Ariel delivered. I was married 6/9/2018 at the Highlands Country Club in Garrison, NY. I honestly can't get over how great the band was! They set the tone the whole night and the dance floor was packed. I got married on February 17th and used Ariel for my band. They were amazing!!! Everything went so perfectly. Liz is so nice and very easy to work with. We love Heartbeat Dance Band!!!!!! We worked with Elizabeth from Ariel Music & Events and had Heartbeat play at our last two annual black tie events and they do not disappoint! They are an amazing band with a wide range of music selection from the old Big Band standards to the current pop hits. Heartbeat is fun and gets everyone up and out of their seats ready to dance the night away. Michael has an amazing voice and charms everyone with his smooth Sinatra style dinner music. Christi and the other musicians were super engaged with everyone and intuitively knew exactly the music everyone wanted to hear!!! Our members (lawyers and judges) are excited to know Heartbeat/Ariel will be the band at next year’s Barristers’ Ball and we can’t wait to see them again in 2019!!!!

Every time my (now) husband and I went to a wedding, we'd always take note of the band or DJ and decided early on that we were set on a band for our wedding, and they had to be AMAZING! When it came time to plan our own wedding, we went to showcase after showcase, intent on finding a high energy group that would keep people dancing all night. My dad has been in a band my whole life and I wanted him to be able to sing a few songs with the band. After seeing Ariel's showcase we were convinced they were right for us. Lee and Liz were so helpful through the whole planning process including deciding which instruments to include for ceremony and reception, song choices, timing, etc.! Everyone commented on our band and we are so thankful and appreciative. We'd highly recommend Ariel!

We could not have been more please with Ariel Music and Events, specifically the Heartbeat Dance Band which was fantastic!

They played the music at our ceremony (saxophone and keyboard) and we had the rest of the group (10 pieces total...including trumpet!) for the rest of the day. They played from 4:30PM until Midnight with only a few small breaks. They were fantastic which is a huge understatement.

They played all of our requested songs and could not have been more accommodating. Lawrence, the lead singer and Michael the M.C. were both wonderful people and kept everything on track for the night.

This band does monthly "showcases" where you can see them perform in person before you make your decision. We went to a showcase and had seen them previously in Westport, CT at an outdoor venue. Once you see them at a showcase, you will want to book them immediately. And book quickly as they are in very high demand.

I would recommend anyone looking for a group for their wedding to pick Ariel. Top notch and amazing artists!

Ariel Music Group was fantastic. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and helpful. Having not used a full-time wedding planner, it was comforting to speak with Elizabeth to walk through the introductions and timeline for the wedding. Ariel listened to all of our music requests, and learned our wedding song. Their song list is current, and always getting updated. Go visit their showcase and hear their music. We used the Heartbeat band from Ariel music & events for our wedding in Connecticut this past June. They were worth every penny. The one thing people continue to rave about from our wedding to this day is the band. Their energy was incredible, the song selection perfect and working with them was a pleasure. People who never dance told me they danced at my wedding. They couldn't help themselves! They did the perfect mix of oldies and new songs that catered to everyone. I looked around for bands for our wedding for almost 5 months. When I came across Ariel Music and Events website, I was blown away by their sound! I had a few of my friends go see them at a free showcase and they said they had a great time. I booked them right after! They were so great about setting up times to talk, especially with me planning this whole thing out of state. To top it all off, the band was absolutely fantastic at our wedding!!! It has almost been a full month, and people are still talking about how fabulous the band was! Thank you for making our night so special and so much fun!

We chose Ariel music for our wedding day band! It was absolutely the BEST choice we made for our wedding!!!! Music was the most important part of our day and when we first heard Ariel they were so amazing!!!! They had so much energy, went with the flow of the crowd, and kept everyone dancing all night! They even let me be the center of attention in singing my favorite song to the crowd! (Closer) it was so easy to work with Liz and the members of the band and they were so willing to do everything I requested!! Simply the best day ever and it wouldn't of been the same without Ariel!!!!! They made our wedding day SO MUCH FUN! I wish I could redo this day!!! Thank you Ariel!!!! I would recommend this band to anyone!!!

Ariel really rocked our wedding. We liked the band because of the diversity of the vocalists - they've got someone that can sing everything - and they've all got great voices. We went and saw the band at their showcase twice and they were even better on our wedding day. Liz was great to work with - very responsive to emails and sat on the phone with us to go over every detail of the evening. On the day of the wedding, the band knew how to execute our requests as well as feed off the energy of the crowd to play just what was needed at the right times to get everyone on their feet. The dance floor was rocking before dinner and it was almost a let down when we had to sit down and eat. EVERYONE - literally 200 people at our wedding - commented on how PHENOMENAL the band was. People raved. They sounded great. Horns were top-notch. Vocalists were top-notch.... and as I mentioned, they were experienced enough to know what songs to play at what times to get as many people on the dance floor as possible. They truly made our wedding the great success that it was. People will be talking about the band and the fun time that they had dancing for many months and years to come. We were completely satisfied with Ariel and would recommend them to any bride and groom.

Heartbeat Dance Band is excellent. There are not enough adjectives to describe the immense talent of these musicians. My daughter's wedding absolutely rocked! The dance floor was never empty. Even after the last song of the night, our crowd did not want the band to stop and chanted "One more song! One more song! One more song!" And the band complied. Simply the best. You can't go wrong hiring Heartbeat for your special occasion. Also, Liz, the band manager, was wonderful to work with. She helped make the magic happen.

Almost a year later and my wife and I still hear at every family holiday party how good our wedding band was. Ariel made our day so much fun and were incredibly accommodating. We are so thankful that we stumbled upon them on this website. The dance floor was never empty and they played EVERY single song that we had asked for. I would highly recommend this band to anyone who is considering booking them for their event. 100% worth it and will seriously be one of the highlights of your wedding.

We have had a great experience Ariel Music & Events at the weddings of both our son and our daughter. They are easy to deal with up front, are very fabulous at delivering what you ask for, and have an amazing sound. Ariel Music was wonderful. We booked them for our July 2016 wedding at The Manor in West Orange, NJ and received so many compliments throughout the event and weeks after. We began working with the band manager, Elizabeth, about eight months before the wedding.

My husband and I met while living in New Orleans, and we wanted a band that was versatile enough to play some New Orleans-style music. Ariel did not disappoint. Due to the very skilled and diverse make-up of the band,one band member had been a part of a New Orleans-style band in the past, and was instrumental in having the band learn some new songs for their repertoire.

Music was a very important part of the wedding, and the band incorporated and worked with our particular choices. They adhered to the "do not play" list and I felt that they really understood my musical preferences. They also learned a song for my first dance with my husband, and played it exactly like the recording, which helped with our choreographed dance. Toward the end of the party, they had some great interactions with the guests, but not to a point that it felt like a performance.

They were professional, courteous, extremely talented, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding wedding band!

This review is for Heartbeat Dance Band, who performed for our October 15 wedding of 175 people in a tented reception in CT. We communicated with Liz throughout the booking and planning process - she was very diligent, responsive and helpful throughout. The band was willing to negotiate when it came to add-ons like an extra band member (we ended up with 9 pieces), ceremony and cocktail hour musicians, which was fantastic and really helped us to be able to have one music/sound provider for everything. Heartbeat was incredible. The entire time they were performing, our dance floor was packed and our guests were having the best time. We've received so many compliments from guests - multiple guests commented that during dinner, they were loving the music and expected that it was a recording but looked over to see a crooner performing on a vintage mic - this was such an unexpected and excellent touch.

My now husband found Heartbeat online and we found their value to be fantastic compared to other bands of similar size and quality. We honestly never even saw the band perform in person - we booked after watching online videos and were never able to make it to one of their showcases before our wedding. We always had confidence they would be fantastic, despite being booked to play another wedding earlier that day - even before our wedding, a friend's sister ended up booking Heartbeat for her wedding next year on our recommendation as well. The band was professional, upbeat and totally understood the vibe we were going for - they sent us an agenda sheet and song list to complete ahead of time which gave us the chance to voice just what we wanted.

We would highly recommend Heartbeat to anyone getting married and looking for a band!

Heartbeat Dance Band was amazing!!! From the beginning, Liz was super professional and easy to work with. She helped ensure the band knew that we wanted tons of dancing and worked with us to ensure our unique requests and songs were incorporated! The day of, the band was amazing!!! All of our friends and family have said that Heartbeat is by far the best wedding band they have ever heard. Literally everyone at our wedding (even family members like my uncle who I have never seen dance!) were on the dance floor! We also are so appreciative that the band learned not only our first dance song, but at least 5 other songs that we wanted throughout the evening. And our favorite moment of the night, by far, was when the band played our first dance song for us to practice our choreographed dance while everyone was downstairs at cocktail hour. HIGHLY recommend!!

Ariel was awesome! They provided us great music and entertainment for our wedding day. They performed during our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and all were perfect. They have a wide array of songs they can play and had all our guests dancing the whole night. Our first dance was that much more special performed live. Highly recommend!!!

Having been in the music business for over 20 yrs,I know how difficult it is handle all the little details that go into making a wedding work. The Ariel team was very helpfull from the beginning of the process right up to last minute changes the day before the event. Our family was thrilled wih the service we got. The band was amazing , the Mc was on point and everything flowed exquisitely. The highlight of the night was when I danced with my daughter to "I Hope You Dance".The band and the vocalist nailed it. Song choices kept the dance floor filled all night! Highly Recommended!!

We worked with Liz through Ariel Music & Events and the Heartbeat Dance band. From the moment we heard them at one of their showcases, we knew we needed to book them for our wedding! Liz was easy to work with, well organized and accommodating to all our requests, making sure things were exactly the way we wanted. The Heartbeat Dance Band was outstanding!! We made some requests for "must play songs" but otherwise we let them choose their songs and they did not disappoint! They had our guests up and dancing throughout the entire reception tailoring their playlist to the vide of our crowd. Many guests left saying how fantastic the band was. The band members were very professional. Michael (band leader) and Christie (a lead singer & our emcee) helped keep the night going smooth. We are so happy that we had the Heartbeat Dance band as part of our wedding. They helped create such a memorable night that we will never forget! We HIGHLY recommend this band. Thank you Heartbeat!!

Everyone knows a good band is crucial to the success of a wedding and I could not say kind enough words to do Ariel Music and Events' justice. From our cocktail hour where we had more of the classics like Frank Sinatra to the last dance where everyone was getting down on the dance floor (literally - I admit my husband did request "Shout") the band was phenomenal. Several guests who are getting married thousands of miles away wanted to see if they could have them! They kept a great energy and are extremely talented. I was especially delighted that even in between sets and during meals when most bands take a break, one of the singers continued to perform beautiful background music for us. Through and through, there's not a single thing I found that could have been improved upon!

We worked with Liz at Ariel Music and the Heartbeat Dance Band for our wedding in August of 2016, and couldn’t have been more pleased. Band members performed for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and of course, the party. We received such glowing compliments from attendees of all ages. The packed dance floor was proof enough that all our guests were having a great time. In addition to the music, the Heartbeat team did a tremendous job working with our venue staff to manage the evening. The band managed to both be a highlight of party, and yet, blend in seamlessly. I went to listen to the group Heartbeat during one of their invitations to check them out at a Greenwich, CT hotel performance. It was excellent and what made me finalize my decision to have them at my daughter's wedding.
Knowing how each sang and being able to see the list of songs they were capable of singing made it very easy to make the music at the wedding very personal. Everyone was up dancing all night! Just fantastic!!

We had Ariel at our wedding last weekend and they were a blast. Their sound and music was strong and energetic. Their staff was professional. Their responsiveness from inquiry to booking to day of the wedding was exceptional. We had some weird song loop requests and they accommodated everything. They also brought a DJ to fill in some of the music the band couldn't do and they alternated really beautifully. I would recommend this band to any and all brides/grooms wishing to have a live band at their wedding. Thanks for making our day so special :)

Heartbeat Dance Band far surpassed even our wildest expectations on our wedding day! They played from 9pm-1am and the dance floor was packed for four hours straight! They are energetic, fun, and sound amazing. Their repertoire is great, but they will also learn a few extra songs if needed. Ariel music and events was amazing to work with! They provided beautiful ceremony and fun reception music for our September wedding in Connecticut. The band manager, Elizabeth Greene, was extremely helpful with our music selection and organizing logistics. She was also very flexible, and generously arranged for us to have a sound system set up for our outdoor ceremony the day before our wedding.

The musicians are all extremely talented, and we received many compliments from our guests. Everyone had so much fun dancing the night away at our wedding! We would highly recommend Ariel to anyone in need of an amazingly talented band!

Heartbeat Dance Band did a great job, period! My wife and I have a very busy work schedule, so it was tough for us to make it to one of the band's showcases, but luckily for us they had more than one showcase in a reasonable amount of time from one another. When we finally were able to see them play, we knew right away we wanted to lock them up ASAP especially after looking at their awesome and extensive song list! They do a great job of keeping it up to date with the most current songs, and of course with classic wedding songs. As the wedding approached closer, Heartbeat was very thorough and wanted to make sure your wedding party was updated and in their correct order of appearance. We even had last minute changes to the introductions, but Heartbeat totally accommodated us and even learned new songs for our wedding! Moreover, we had a special request for the band to slow down our first dance song ("Everything" by Michel Buble), which of course they did and they killed it! I haven't seen so many people dancing at a wedding, and not one person had a single complaint-we definitely recommend the Heartbeat Dance Band to anyone looking for a great band for their special day!

My husband and I had hired this band to play at our wedding in the Fall of 2015. They were incredible. Hands-down, amazing.

We heard the band audition a year prior to our wedding and knew immediately they were for us. The band is lively, has great energy, and an awesome variety of songs. They worked with us to provide a very customized introduction at our wedding and nailed it with out any issues. All of the guests at our wedding were on the dance floor almost the entire night because of the band; people danced the night away and had so many compliments of them. We would highly recommend this band for anyone looking for a sensational band that will get the audience involved, keep people dancing, and work with you to play all of your favorite music.

I cannot say enough about this band! Professional, entertaining, and 100% First Class all the way. They were upbeat and an absolute pleasure to work with. Elizabeth accommodated every need and request that we had, and made us feel very comfortable about how the evening would progress. Their extensive song list was everything that we had hoped for, one great tune after the next after the next. From classic oldies of Motown, to the current hits of today, they know how to read the crowd and keep everyone entertained. The only downside was not having a big enough dance floor!! They got everyone up on their feet and nobody wanted to sit down. They are worth EVERY PENNY! All the guests kept talking about after the wedding was over was "Where did you get that band?!" So happy to have found them and want to throw another party just so they can come and play!!

Our wedding literally would not have been the same upbeat, never-want-to-leave party atmosphere that it was without Ariel. We had an 8-piece band and about 200 guests, and their sound and talent was absolute perfection. All of the singers sound identical to the musicians they’re covering, but the true talent of this band is their ability to read the crowd and play songs in an order that make guests never leave the dance floor. At one point, they had to stop playing because entrees had been served and no one cared! I’ve been to many weddings with GREAT bands – perfect voices and harmonizing sounds, but as I mentioned, Ariel has a knack for unexpected song selections that keep people on the dance floor all night. All that aside, Liz is a true joy to work with and their pricing is extremely reasonable for the Tri-state area based on the homework I did prior to hiring them. Five stars!

Ariel was amazing from start to finish! During our planning process, Ariel accommodated all of our needs! They learned several songs that were special to us, even though they were not on their set list. Prior to the wedding, Liz called me and chatted for over an hour just to make sure the day would go perfectly. She even texted me early in the morning on our wedding day to wish us the best. Ariel had two musicians preform during our cocktail hour. They set the mood and let our guests know that they were in for a treat. As the night progressed, Ariel introduced our wedding party and us with high energy and really got the party started! They played all of our requests throughout the night and followed the timeline we had set. The mix of slow and fast songs kept the party going. The dance floor was packed all night because the band was so much fun. They fulfilled our guests requests for songs, too. Weeks later, guests are still talking about how amazing our band was! My husband and I always have good times at weddings that have good music, so we prioritized music when planning for our own wedding to make it unforgettable. After contacting various music vendors, only Heartbeat Dance Band invited us to a live performance so that we could make our final decision without undue pressure. We were blown away when we did see, hear, and dance to them and booked HBDB right after. Though our wedding was almost a year away after booking with Heartbeat, we were constantly in touch with the band manager who was very patient and responsive with our questions and requests, accommodating us and making the groom and me feel so assured that we were in good hands. As the wedding date drew nearer, I had a rather picky selection of songs to be played and in particular, a song in Korean to be played as a surprise for my grandmother. The manager handled these rather particular requests in stride, and needless to say, when the band played the surprise song, all our guests and my grandmother loved it, who was given the mic to sing along by the bandmembers!

Though our wedding was a couple months ago, every single friend, family member, and guest we've since since are all still so animated when sharing how much fun they had because of the band -- how awesome the band was, how it was the absolute best band they've ever heard, and how they couldn't believe the singers were singing (they sounded as if they were off a recording, that's how good they are!), how they danced the entire time!

My husband and I are still beaming from how much fun we had and how much fun our guests had because of Heartbeat Dance Band, and we feel so lucky and grateful that we had Heartbeat at our wedding in making our day so wonderfully unforgettable for us and our loved ones. In short, Heartbeat Dance Band made our dream wedding come true, and I cannot highly recommend them enough. Thank you Heartbeat Dance Band!!

My husband and I just tied the knot May 16th at a country club outside of NYC, and the event was phenomenal, due largely to Team Ariel. They were absolutely exceptional! I cannot express our appreciation and gratitude not only for their professionalism and organization leading up to the event, but their amazing vocals and ability to play new hits as well as your typical crowd pleasers all night long. We felt comfortable and confident the entire night, knowing Ariel was in charge. They kept our guests on their feet throughout the evening. The dance floor was PACKED, which is a clear indicator of success in my book. Our guests had the time of their lives because of Ariel's talent and preparation. We owe it to Ariel for providing an amazing evening and gave us the party we were desperately hoping for. It truly was a night to remember. They were epic and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fabulous band. Ariel exceeded all expectations and just blew us away. Ariel Music was incredible!! Elizabeth was great to work with and they were able to work within our budget which was a huge plus! I also left my iPod at the hotel on the day of the wedding and Ariel Music was able to upload the music last minute and saved our dinner music as a result. One of the best moments of the night was when they did SHOUT! and now, a year later, people are still telling us how amazing the band was. They definitely made the night!
