Ariel and team were amazing! She absolutely nailed the look I wanted, and when I changed my mind last minute, she was so patient and made it even better than I imagined. My hair looked stunning all day, and my bridesmaids were just as thrilled with theirs. She was a true professional and made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Ariel is not only an amazing hair stylist but so friendly, sweet and professional. I am a very indecisive person and I came to my trial with 3 different styles in mind. Ariel was extremely patient with me and ended up coming up with the perfect style for my look! I was obsessed with my hair on my wedding day and she helped me feel like such a glamorous bride. The best choice I could have made!
I am SO grateful to have been paired with Sarah for my wedding hair. Sarah is easy-going, kind, and INCREDIBLY talented. At my bridal trial/preview, she was receptive to my desires and feedback. I have a lot of very thick hair, and Sarah was able to seamlessly execute my wedding hair goals beautifully! She helped make me feel so confident on my wedding day. We were on the dance floor all night long, and my hair stayed super securely in its bun. Jenn, the second stylist, was also amazing. They worked so well together, and were efficient, fun, and talented. So so so grateful!

Loved working with Ariel & team and LOVED my wedding day hair! I was the type of bride who was unsure of exactly what I'd want, but at my trial we figured it out and it was so relieving to not only have one less thing to worry about, but to be excited about. Ariel was also flexible on scheduling my trial since I live out of town. On wedding day the style was replicated perfectly and the bun held all day and night through heat and humidity - I didn't even have to think about it. My bridesmaids also looked amazing! Definitely recommend Ariel & team!

Loved working with Ariel Katrina, and Kate in particular. Margot and Georgie were also great. The three of them did the bride, mother of bride, two mothers of groom, and 9 bridesmaids and everyone looked beautiful. We were worried about traffic near our hotel but they arrived early and worked efficiently. Did trials in advance (a pleasure, looked great) and then the bride pivoted to a different style, equally good. Will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone I know!

Ariel was so great to work with; super warm, fun, easygoing and very professional! I wanted my wedding hair to feel like me but with some extra flair and she really delivered. I often wear my hair half up, we ended up finding this fantastic french 60s era half up hairstyle and she pulled it off (in a modern way) perfectly! Highly recommend :)

Loved my experience with Ariel Katrina Hair and my stylist Sarah! AKH was very organized and responsive to any questions I had. Sarah was able to create a unique look with me that I LOVED without much guidance. I felt gorgeous! She was grounded, flexible and kind when I really needed it! And very talented - everyone’s hair looked better than we all could have dreamed! We had a wide range of ages and hair textures (ages 20’s - 80’s, thin to thick to curly hair) and each style held up all night despite the warm, humid June weather. Was a fantastic experience all around, could not recommend more.

I booked Ariel through a family friend recommendation and I am so happy I did! I booked with them about a year out from our wedding date and even though I booked early Ariel was great with communicating and answering any questions I had throughout the process. I also did a hair trial with Ariel and on the wedding day, I switched up my hair style completely and she had no problems with it! All my girls LOVED their hair and Ariel and her team were great, kind and patient with the two flower girls. I would highly recommend them to any future brides!

Bridal Bad-Ass Pony
I got my bridal hair done by Ariel. I didn't even do a trial with her before I booked, because of what I saw on her Instagram. The photos speak for themselves! I did a big curly ponytail with long extensions. During the bridal trial, I bought one set of extensions and the hair looked awesome, but I thought it may be better with longer ones. At the wedding, I brought 18-inch extensions and it made for the most chic, beautiful, and amazing hair, I've ever had in my life. Ariel uses really awesome hair products that smell unreal - how do I get my hands on that hairspray?! Prior to the wedding, Ariel communicated a timeline with me and things pretty much ran themselves from there. Ariel is super punctual and arrived at my hotel room an early 6:00 AM with everything she needed. Aside from being an awesome stylist, she is a pleasant person to be around! When you're spending an entire morning with someone, it's important to find someone you like to be around! All of my girls looked fantastic as well! That day, they came to her with styles in mind and she executed them flawlessly. Ariel did my hair at about 10 AM, and it did not move an inch. I looked exactly the same at midnight as I did that morning. I wish I could write more, but her work speaks for itself. THANK YOU Ariel for turning me from girl with a bad-ass ponytail to bride - I've never felt more beautiful!

This is a long overdue glowing review for Ariel Katrina Hair! Chelsey was my stylist and I just cannot say enough wonderful things about her. We clicked from the moment we met at my trial. Chelsey is so kind and listened to exactly what I wanted for my bridal hair. I switched things up slightly on my actual wedding day and again, Chelsey just nailed it! My hair was perfection. She was accompanied by Megan on my wedding day and everyone also loved Megan! Both were just so much fun and a great presence during hair and make-up. Everyone had so much fun. Ariel and her team were amazing to work with!! She came highly recommended and truly went above and beyond! I booked Ariel Katrina for my wedding based on their Instagram and I am so glad that I did! Megan was one of my favorite vendors and was an absolute dream to work with! She really took her time during my trial, showing me different size/style of curls, and talking me through all of the options. I loved my trial but I somehow loved it more on my actual wedding day. Megan and Margo are true professionals, talented, and overall lovely to work with. One of my bridesmaids even booked them for her upcoming wedding after seeing their work live! One of the best decisions I made during the wedding process was working with Ariel Katrina Hair. I had the pleasure of working with Ariel and Georgie on my wedding day, and cannot say enough good things about them. I had my wedding trial with Ariel about 6 months before my wedding date, and I immediately felt at ease with her. She is professional in every way, while also making you feel like a friend. When my wedding day arrived, Ariel and Georgie were absolute dreams to work with. Our wedding party consisted of 4 young girls, and they were both so accommodating with all of the children. They also listened to what each adult wanted, and brought everyone's vision to life. On my wedding day, I decided to go with a look that was nothing like what we had worked on during my trial. Ariel showed no frustration or annoyance with my changing plan, and just went with the flow. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. Another amazing bonus - my hair ALWAYS falls out. I knew this was a huge risk when I decided that I wanted to wear my hair down, but it was just the look I wanted. Ariel somehow managed to fix my hair so that it didn't fall out the entire night despite that we were on a windy rooftop. She is a miracle-worker! 1000000% recommend Ariel and her team! They are simply the best!

Ariel-OMG! What a true talent. Ariel is incredible at what she does and is such a positive light through everything. I booked Ariel for my wedding on 12/11/21 for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and 2 moms for hair services. From initial inquiry, she was so responsive and kind, answering all of my questions and connecting for a preliminary call before I decided to book. Her and her assistant, Mary, were always able to answer any of my questions, provide recommendations and make adjustments to the hair schedule as we got closer to the day of.
I went to her studio for my hair trial about 3 months before and was able to meet her in person before the wedding. She is so positive and up for anything! I immediately thought of her as a friend. On top of being such a kind and genuine person, she is a true magician when it comes to hair!
On the day of, she and her 2nd stylist Megan arrived and were so great to my girls. Some had photos for inspiration, and some just communicated a vision, some didn't have an idea at all of what they wanted. Watching them work with anything was so impressive. They took all of it and made them all so beautiful, joked and laughed with us all morning, and stayed ahead of schedule! They made our morning of getting ready so relaxing and fun, on top of making us look and feel our best.
I am so grateful for Ariel and her work! I would hire her any chance I get!

Chelsey and Megan from Ariel Katrina Hair did the hair for my recent wedding and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Both Chelsey and Megan are true artists and me, all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law all loved how their hair turned out. Chelsey did my hair and it turned out even more beautiful than it did at the trial, which I didn't think was possible since I loved it so much then! Chelsey and Megan were both such a pleasure to work with the day of the wedding and it was so fun to have them as a part of our day. They arrived right on time and were even running ahead of schedule at one point, which allowed everyone to get some extra final touch-ups before pictures started. Aside from the amazing experience with Chelsey and Megan, working with Ariel Katrina Hair was a such a seamless experience from start to finish, even after having to postpone our wedding from 2020 go 2021 due to COVID. Chelsey made my wedding hair dreams come true! From the first time I saw her work, I knew she had a gift. I am SO grateful I got to experience her beautiful expertise myself! I literally gasped when I saw the finished look. I have crazy curly hair, brought a sparkly comb accessory AND used extensions, but for Chelsey that was no big deal. Ariel and Chelsey did hair for myself, my mom, and 6 bridesmaids for my wedding day. They were so friendly and sweet and what really sold me was Ariel being so accommodating for my trial. Because of Covid, she didn't have many open slots for trials, and she knew it was very important for me to have my mom do a trial as well. She came in even earlier than her scheduled trials to make sure my mom would be able to do one as well. I was having a very hard time with my makeup artist during the time of my trial and she gave her professional advice and also gave me great recommendations for other makeup artists as well. Every single one of my bridesmaids loved their hair and I was in love with mine as well! I would honestly do another trial with her just to have my hair done again! Great experience and will recommend both her and Chelsey to all of my PA and Jersey friends!

Ariel did my hair for my wedding in December and I cannot say enough amazing things about her and Chelsey who did some of my bridesmaid’s hair. From booking Ariel Katrina Hair, scheduling my trial, and adjusting my timeline, Ariel was so easy to work with. During my trial, I showed Ariel a photo of what I had envisioned and she mirrored it exactly. She made little adjustments until we had the exact style that I wanted. She took photos and notes so that on the day of the wedding, she knew exactly what to do. Ariel and Chelsey were so fun to spend the day getting ready with as well! Ariel works MAGIC!!! She quickly learned how particular I am about my hair at my trial and she went above and beyond to make me feel so comfortable expressing exactly what I wanted! She really listens and is talented beyond belief. On my wedding day, I watched as she brought my vision to life with an updo that was even more perfect than the one I had imagined! I could not stop smiling, I was SO happy and in LOVE with my hair!!! I’m still in awe of what Ariel was able to do and cannot thank her enough! Additionally, both Chelsey and Cass, our second hair stylist, were great with the bridal party on the day of. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law all loved their hair and felt so confident in pictures because of their team. We cannot recommend Ariel Katrina (and Chelsey!!) enough!!!

Ariel is so talented and was such a pleasure to work with! She was one of the first vendors I booked after stalking her work on Instagram. I am very picky about my hair so it had to be right! My mom and I went to her home for a trial a few months before the wedding. Ariel was so cool and down to earth - she felt like an old friend! I originally wanted to wear my hair up, but changed my mind to wear it down with extensions which I was super nervous about. Ariel was so cool about it and can handle any style. Ariel was the absolute best!! I still can't get over how beautiful my hair looked on my wedding day. It truly could not have looked any wedding. Ariel is a dream to work with. Where do I even start.. working with Ariel was an absolute dream! She was the sweetest and everyone of my bridesmaids loved her. She had Cass along with her and she was equally as great. Chelsey from Ariel Katrina Hair did my hair on my wedding day. I knew I wanted an up-do, but had such a hard time finding styles that I liked. Chelsea took my very specific requests and got my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it. She was very flexible and spent the time to listen to me and get the style exactly right during the trial. On my wedding day, Chelsey was equally wonderful - showed up right on time and was a blast to hang out with. I can't recommend her enough!

If you're reading this, just go ahead and book Ariel. She is not only fabulous at her job but also lovely to be around--and isn't that exactly what you want on your wedding day?
Ariel did wedding hair for me, three bridesmaids, and my mom. My style (down, curled, pinned back at one side) was everything I had hoped for. We did a trial first, which I was thrilled with, and then it came out even better on my wedding day! It looked beautiful and felt secure but not stiff or crunchy with spray--I looked like me, just more glamorous:) And it stayed so well all the way through the end of the after-party. I can't count the compliments I received. As for the other ladies, each style was different (i.e., they didn't look like they rolled off a wedding hair assembly line) and suited them so well; Ariel is extremely thoughtful and careful to make sure that you are happy with your look.
Overall, I felt like I was in expert hands on my wedding day and had zero worries about my hair. (It's also worth noting that when I mentioned that I was working with Ariel, each of my other vendors said what a great decision I'd made.) Plus, chatting with Ariel felt like hanging out with a friend. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!

I absolutely loved working with Ariel. I am SO glad that I booked her for my wedding day. I wanted a messy updo with a braid and she somehow was able to make it look so amazing, everything that I ever wanted. She effortlessly mastered the look that I was going for...and created beautiful styles for my bridesmaids as well!!! I've been in weddings in the past as a bridesmaid and I always hated how my hair looked when stylists do it...NOT with Ariel! She seriously knows how to do hair for ALL types of hair. She is a joy to talk to and I am just waiting for myself to have another event to go to so I can book her again...LOL! Talented Artist, Amazing Experience!
I have long, thick, curly hair, and I knew I wanted that to show through on my wedding day. I had looked through many different Instagram accounts to see if any stylists had experience with curly hair, and Ariel had posted a photo that I LOVED and actually ended up using as an inspiration photo at my trial! After booking Ariel, we scheduled a trial at her studio, and she was totally on board for what I was looking for. On the day of my wedding, Ariel (and her partner Megan) arrived at our hotel right on time and set up shop quickly! She was moving ahead of schedule all day, and for a 10am start, we had everyone (7 BMs, 2 mothers, and 1 bride) done by 2pm! Ariel was able to accommodate my MIL, who in my error, wasn’t scheduled for hair, but Ariel fit her in! My hair turned out even better than at my trial, and I received so many compliments! My girls all loved their hair, too. I cannot recommend Ariel enough!

I met them both at the trial, where Chelsey did a beautiful job listening to exactly what I wanted, and experimenting with a few different ways to pin my hair until we found the style I liked the best. Ariel is a dream to work with! If you want a hairstylist that's truly on your side on your wedding day, then book her immediately! Ariel has a warm heart, soothing vibe, and amazing style. She's extremely generous with her time. Our trial was so fun, we ran through 3 (!) different styles, and then on the day of my wedding, I pulled an audible. When I told her I was second-guessing what we had decided upon, she sprang into action and turned my doubts into a gorgeous Old Hollywood hairstyle that my family and friends are STILL talking about. Ariel is amazing!! I was extremely picky when planning my wedding and must have contacted upwards of 20-25 hair stylist and makeup artists. Ariel responded to my inquiry immediately, which any bride will tell you is the first sign of a good vendor. After gauging who was available, I spent hours reading reviews, looking at their previous work, scheduling consultations, ect. It was evident from Ariel's portfolio that she is extremely talented and versatile. I knew my bridal party would want a handful of different styles and I did not want to feel like all of our updos walked out of a 90s high school prom. During the trial Ariel was so kind, accommodating and all around fun! She tried several different hairstyles so I could have an idea of options and she didn't make me feel rushed into a decision. Ariel is not only amazing at what she does, she is fun to be around! Getting ready for the wedding I knew we would have a ton of vendors (not to mention 12+ bridal party members) in a small room so I wanted someone that was fun, personable and respectful of others. Ariel added some much needed humor, warmth and kindness to our getting ready. Not to mention my hair turned out better than I ever could have imagined (okay, I did imagine it from pinterest but we all know pinterest is far from reality). My entire bridal party loved their hair as well, which lasted all day/night! I promise you will be the happiest bride if you choose Ariel and her team!

This is a (belated!) review for my May 2018 wedding at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. For months I debated having a hair stylist come to the house vs. just walking to a salon that morning, but am so happy I chose Ariel! She has a ton of her work on Instagram and online that I could look through and was very professional, organized, and responsive. She definitely captured my "vision" for my hair for the big day and my curls lasted from before the Church ceremony through the afterparty. She did a great job with my mom and bridesmaids too and was a nice, calming presence that day!

Ariel and Cass were a dream to work with. They traveled to my hotel in Philadelphia for no extra charge and did all of my bridesmaids hair is expert time. Everyone loved their look and looked gorgeous. Planning with Ariel was a breeze, she was so easy going but also very responsive and made the process very stress free. The day of the wedding we meshed two hairstyles we had tried previously and I absolutely loved it. My hair was one of my favorite parts of the day, more beautiful than I could have imaged. I loved my hair!
I’m still not quite sure how I found Ariel Katrina Hair but I could not be more excited that I did. From the moment I reached out to Ariel, we seemed to instantly click. She had even been married at the same venue we were getting married at! Her prices were more than reasonable, and at our trial, she blew me away with her expertise! We talked about a couple of changes to make for the big day, and I left feeling that I was in the best hands. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. Ariel did hair for myself, three of my bridesmaids, the MOB, MOG, and Grandmother of the Groom and everyone was overjoyed at how it turned out. Not only was our hair gorgeous, but Ariel made everyone feel completely at ease. I cannot recommend her enough and hope that I have a reason to have my hair done again soon so I can use her services again!

Ariel and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. From my initial contact with her, I had nothing but a positive experience. She was very prompt in responding to any and all questions that I had. She and her team use a messaging system (which I appreciate!), it helped to keep all our communication, invoices, contracts, and schedules organized in a central location. When it was time for my trial, Ariel was so friendly, it was like catching up with an old friend. She worked with me until we found a style that I absolutely loved. On the day of the wedding, she and her team arrived early to set up, and had us all looking our best in no time at all. Everyone's hair stayed in perfect place throughout the entire day. The BEST - book Ariel asap! She made the process of figuring out wedding hair a breeze. From booking a trial with her - where she was super accommodating to come to PA / coordinate with my makeup stylist. Letting me try multiple style options during my trial. Giving her honest opinion, yet also being open to changes / tweaks. She is the most amazing person to work with.
The day of the wedding, she arrived early to set up and kept me company while the rest of my wedding party arrived. Super calming presence about her, but also all business when it comes to hair. I showed her a Pinterest picture that was slightly different from my trial hair, and she made the vision happen without a flinch. I went with a side/half-pinned style and wanted it to be natural & relaxed. She nailed it.
For my wedding party, I watched her carefully listen to everyone's (very different) requests - mom, sisters, friends and 7-yr old twins...she gave everyone their dream-hair for this wedding. I was really proud to walk out with my wedding party after prep-time was done :) Love u Ariel!

From her responsiveness to creativity and pleasant demeanor(I seriously felt like I had known her for years after my trial), I could not give her a higher recommendation. I am not a girl who gets my hair or makeup done often, and Ariel was very patient with me in determining the best hairstyle during my trial. She tried numerous styles that I suggested and also came up with some suggestions of her own. I felt like both my time and my happiness was of utmost importance to her. She endured multiple changes in schedule, and yet was an extremely calming presence on my wedding day. I was nervous to go with the "no part" "straight back" hairstyle and she simply told me that if I didn't like it she would keep creating new looks until I found something I loved. I took my mother and mother-in-law for a trial because they were concerned about not knowing what they’d look like on the wedding day. Ariel was very patient with them and made sure they left feeling confident. For my hair, she took a couple of pictures and my verbal description and put together the exact look I had in my head. It was comfortable, romantic and stated in all night (even throughout my choreographed Beyonce dance routine). She was also able to fit in my aunt for a blow-out and wave last minute. Picking a hairstylist was one of the hardest decisions I made during the wedding planning process and I'm so glad I picked Ariel Katrina Hair.
I had a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived for my hair trial to the second I received my wedding photos. By the time I reached out to book wedding hair stylists, Ariel had already been booked for another wedding, but her assistant Chelsey was available for my date. Both Ariel and Chelsey were at my hair trial. They asked for inspiration pictures, showed me images, and tried a couple of styles before we settled on a final look. They were both very down-to-earth, kind, and easy to talk to.
I worked with Chelsey on my wedding day and she really is a superstar. She arrived right on time, did hairstyles for 8 people (most of which have long thick hair), and helped me keep calm all morning. She did my hair exactly how we had planned at the trial and placed a headpiece perfectly. She was such an important part of the day and I'm so happy she was there.
I would recommend Chelsey to anyone getting married!

Ariel and her stylist Chelsea were amazing!!! I was a picky bride and went through 3 hairstyles (trials) before choosing and Ariel was so patient with me. The day of my wedding, they both were fun and professional. Ariel even made sure to bring an old wand curler that she used on my hair years ago because she knew how much I loved it (I was a bridesmaid in another wedding where Ariel did my hair years before). Who else would do that for a bride? Chelsea did a great job on my bridesmaids hair and she did the touch ups for our ceremony. I am so grateful I went with Ariel Katrina Hair and I would highly recommend it for anyone getting married!!

I mean where do I even begin!?
When I got engaged, I automatically knew who I wanted to do my hair for the big day! Ariel is, without a doubt, the most talented hair stylist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Ariel did my engagement session hair as well as my wedding hair. I can be a little indesisive to say the least and changed my mind numerous times about how I wanted my wedding hair to look. Ariel had so much patience and made sure to execute the exact vision I was going for! Not only was I thrilled with my hair, I was blown away by both of the moms! My mom has never felt better about her hair. I was so happy that Ariel was able to give her that confidence! Along with the mothers, the bridesmaids simply looked stunning. A few of them had no idea what they wanted but Ariel just knows how to whip out a beautiful style on the spot. She worked with everything from my pin straight fine hair, to my sister in law’s thick ringlet curls. It’s doesnt matter what kind of hair you have, Ariel kills it! Did I also mentioned she is a BLAST and just completely awesome in general? I highly recommend her services to anyone in the future :)

Ariel and the stylist she brought along with her, Chelsea, were incredible. Ariel knows how to make the most perfect curls that last in your hair all day and night! I got my hair done at 10AM and by 2AM in the morning it had not changed at all. She is so good that during my trial I wanted to have 4 different hairstyles for my wedding day because I loved them all so much. Ariel is super professional, responds quickly, and was very comfortable to work with. She does everything to ensure that you look amazing on your wedding day. If you need a hairstylist for your wedding, do not look any further. She really is the best!

Ariel did an amazing job with my bridal hair and all of my bridesmaids. Everyone loved their hair that day. She was so sweet, helpful, accommodating, and right on time the day of. We got ready at the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia and she traveled to our suite that morning. She made things so convenient and easy. We scheduled a trial a few weeks before to make sure I would love my look and I absolutely did. One of my bridesmaids is getting married in 2019. She loved her hair so much that she booked Ariel then and there for her wedding too! She’s a true professional in her field!

Ariel did my wedding hair and I was so happy! The trial was easy and she basically looked at a few photos, and bam, 10 minutes later it was JUST what i wanted. I thought her pricing was great, she was easy to communicate with and i wouldn't hesitate to use her again!

Ariel did a gorgeous job at my wedding in October. Everyone's hair looked fabulous, and I was so impressed that my updo stayed perfectly in place through a long day and a night of serious dancing. The trial was a great experience, she was patient in translating my (not-so-clear) ideas into a style I loved. On the day of the wedding, she was a wonderful and calm presence.

I am so thankful that I found Ariel Katrina Hair! Ariel is an AMAZING hair stylist!! She quickly put me at ease by her calm demeanor and ability to bring my vision to life. She was super easy to work with and even showed me multiple different styles to help me figure out what I liked. On my big day, she checked in with me multiple times to make sure I liked everything. My hair was absolutely perfect on my wedding day and stayed in throughout the night! Ariel and her assistant also did a fabulous job with all my bridesmaids’ and mom’s hair dos. Whether they knew exactly what they wanted or had no idea, Ariel and her assistant created the most beautiful hair styles and everyone was so happy. Everyone loved their hair and she was able to give them exactly what they had in mind with some pretty general descriptions haha. She was so kind and personable during my trial and the morning of and she really made it fun while still doing an amazing job on our hair. I turned to Ariel for my own wedding after she had done my hair at a friend's wedding. I knew she'd worked with many of my friends before and came with glowing reviews. She absolutely didn't disappoint! I live out of the area, so I left my hair trial for 2 days before my wedding...I'm sure that would have panicked most brides, but I put my trust in Ariel, and I loved my simple, elegant updo on the first try. It was exactly what I was looking for. The day of my wedding was the same way, we all loved our hair...and Ariel blended right in with my bridal party, making the day fun and easy! A year later, I still have friends and friends of friends asking who did my hair, and I always recommend Ariel! She's the best!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Ariel! I am very picky when it comes to hair and I spent countless hours trying to find a stylist that could achieve the look I imagined for our wedding, and there is no other stylist that comes close to Ariel's talent! Ariel was able to capture exactly the look I was going for through a handful of Pinterest pictures where I liked one thing from one picture and another thing from another picture-- honestly, I don't know how she did it. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and it is all thanks to Ariel. And it wasn't just me-- my bridesmaids all looked and FELT beautiful too, and our hair lasted the entire day withstanding outside pictures and lots of dancing. Finally, what really meant the most to me was how well Ariel interacted with my sister who has special needs. I warned Ariel prior to the wedding day that she was going to have her hands full with my sister who tends to get overwhelmed and doesn't sit still for more than 2 minutes at a time. I thought maybe Ariel would be lucky to get a brush through her hair, and possibly some curls. To this day I still don't know what Ariel did, but my sister came out with her hair looking stunning with all of it curled and some of it pulled back behind a gold headband. Ariel's patience and kindness was just what my sister needed to feel comfortable, and I can't thank her enough for taking her time to help my sister feel beautiful too! These are all just great things about Ariel that happened on the wedding day, but leading up to the wedding day was no different. From the first time I reached out to Ariel, through the hair trial and creating the wedding day schedule, she was quick to respond, very flexible and answered all of my many questions before I even asked them. I truly cannot recommend Ariel enough! Thanks for everything, Ariel!

I found Ariel after an abrupt venue/date change for our wedding. I’m so glad I did! Ariel is so accommodating and she nailed my style!! I was going for an ethereal, bohemian braid with leaves and a headpiece incorporated, and she did a perfect job. It even held up on a humid day. She also took a ton of time with me at my trial to make sure it was just right. I used extensions (first time) and she was super helpful with that too. Lastly, our venue had a few logistical requirements, and Ariel handled them without a hitch.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Miss Ariel. From my initial email to my wedding day, Ariel was a joy to work with. She created several styles for me to see during my hair trial which made it easy to decide on the look I wanted to go with for my actual wedding day. When the day finally came, Ariel and her second stylist, Chelsea, arrived early to get started and took on the task of beautifying 11 women. Every single lady absolutely LOVED their style and everyone raved about how sweet and kind they both were. They made the wedding day even more special because they were so emotionally invested. I wish I could relive that morning over and over again because it was so much fun and I never once felt stressed about the way my hair looked. I truly have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and that's because Ariel is so incredibly talented. Ariel was the perfect person to hire for my wedding. Not only is she incredibly talented (I couldn't have loved my hair more, and all of my bridal party looked perfect), but she was a wonderful presence in the bridal suite: calm, fun and personable. I have a TON of thick, wavy hair, and she tamed it to perfection. It stayed perfectly put through a spirited dance party, and really captured the classic, romantic feeling I wanted. She was able to adjust to my fickle directions, and really responded to my vision.
My sister is a make-up artist and knows all the vendors in my area. Ariel was her number one recommendation and she'll be mine after that wonderful day!

Ariel is truly amazing at what she does and so is her team! I am extremely picky about my hair and from the home trial to my actual wedding day, Ariel worked with me to make sure I felt 100% confident about my hair! Ariel is also SO accommodating and fun to work with! She was able to fit my mom in for a hair trial the week of my wedding and allowed me to add two additional girls for hair last minute. Ariel is not the only amazing one though- her team truly did a beautiful job on every girls hair they worked on. I could not get over some of the styles they did (it was better then what you would see on Pinterest)! I would HIGHLY recommend Ariel and her team. Ariel is simply AMAZING. I met with Ariel a year and a half before my wedding for trial, which I loved instantly. Ariel is warm, professional and meticulous in her craft. On the day of my wedding, she arrived excited to create some fabulous hair for my girls and I. Every girl that sat in her chair came out looking so effortlessly glamorous, their hair was just perfect. Having Ariel style my hair, with a vintage style hairpiece was perfect. All of my bridesmaids looked and felt fabulous! At my trial, I gave her an idea of the vibe I was feeling for my hair and she nailed it completely. I felt absolutely beautiful! Ariel is a miracle worker, to say the least. Here are a few, out of the 1000, reasons why I would recommend Ariel for your wedding day or special occasion.
-I went in for a trial and LOVED her work, but on the day of the wedding I wanted something a little different and she was able to accommodate and make me look amazing!
-She was timely. She arrived early and was able to do 8 ladies hair styles a head of schedule, which gave us all time to discuss and fond over each others hair.
-She was ensuring, professional, and calm. I had A LOT of nerves on the wedding day, and her positive, reassuring personality eased me.
-She did WONDERS on my grandmothers hair. My grandmother hasn't had her hair professionally done in about 20 years, and Ariel made her look and feel like a movie star.
-She's pretty, like really pretty.
Having Ariel part of my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Ariel is! Our first vendor for hair and makeup fell through, so I was back to the drawing board. I was so thankful to find Ariel! On top of her doing a fantastic job, she is just a total delight to work with. During my trial, she tried about 3 or 4 different styles (and didn't make me feel bad for being indecisive!) and we landed upon a beautiful double crown braid. Before I left, she took it out and styled it differently so my then fiance wouldn't know what my hair was going to look like, which I thought was just above and beyond.
The morning of my wedding, Ariel worked with the makeup artist to keep everything moving and on schedule, but very relaxed. It was so stress free, which is invaluable on your wedding day! She used live flowers in my hair and ran all around to find the perfect ones. Everything turned out better than I could have imagined. Every single one of my bridesmaids and both moms ended up with stunning hair as well, and all of our hair lasted all night; even my girls who typically have their hair fall totally flat! Ariel also did a wonderful job working with my MOH's and MIL's straightened kinky curly hair, and my curly hair, which is always a concern.
Ariel is professional, kind, and SO talented! If I could give her more stars, I would. Thank you for making my day special!

I honestly have nothing but good things to say about Ariel and her work. She is wildly talented, professional, and has the most wonderful demeanor. Throughout my trial and the morning of my wedding, she put me at ease and chatted with me like a girlfriend I had known for years.
This being said - while she is naturally friendly and easy to talk to, she takes her work *seriously*. Ariel styled my hair beautifully into a half up/half down style on the day of my trial. Come wedding day, (94 degrees in May!), I had decided I would prefer my hair completely up. No worries for her - after I described a few of my preferences (vaguely - I admittedly didn't know exactly what I wanted), she effortlessly created an original, off the cuff, and *stunning* style that was perfect.
My hair didn't budge through the entire day - pre-veil, with veil, post-veil and through heat, humidity, and plenty of dancing :) My four bridesmaids and I received compliments all night and no one could believe that one (super) woman did all of that hair! Ariel added volume to my fine hair that I didn't know could be created, tamed my sister's thick curls, and gave us five unique, personalized looks that left us feeling beautiful all night long.
I am so glad that Ariel was a part of my big day and I can't recommend her highly enough.

My trial appointment was completely fun and stress-free…I left feeling great and excited! Everything continued to come together beautifully on my wedding day. I would absolutely recommend Ariel to style your hair for ANY occasion! Ariel styled my hair for our wedding day this past July and I was beyond thrilled with how it turned out! My hair was stunning and exactly how I had imagined it to look for our big day! Ariel is extremely easy going and her number one priority was to make me happy! I'm not lying when I say that my hair was flawless. As soon as she finished, she asked me to take a look and let her know if I wanted to make and changes. IT WAS PERFECT! I didn't want to change a thing! My hair held ALL day and ALL night. We did first look photos before the ceremony and had a hot outdoor ceremony. I used Ariel Katrina Hair for my wedding day and was beyond impressed with Ariel and her assistant! Ariel is a true professional and knows her stuff. At my trial I showed her a couple pictures and she was able to recreate the exact images and even suggested some other ideas to make the styles better! My hair on my wedding day was literally perfect and I felt so beautiful!
My sister is getting married in March and booked her hair stylist a couple months ago, but said “I wish I waited to book my person, because Ariel did an amazing job on everyone’s hair!” She also was able to make time to do another person who was not originally scheduled to get their hair done. Everyone’s hair stayed in place all night and looked amazing. I would highly recommend Ariel Katrina Hair to anyone looking for a hair stylist for their wedding day! I was sooo happy with the beautiful work that Ariel did with my hair on my wedding day! We had a trial a few months prior, and played around with styles. She was so relaxed and ready to play around, and she gave so many options for height/part/her own ideas, etc. I went away with pictures from our trial and eventually decided on which style I liked best. On the morning of, with a quick share of pictures and discussion, Ariel proceeded to do an amazing job. She checked in with me as she went along to confirm I liked the way certain aspects were done (e.g. part placement, volume, sweep), and made seamless adjustments depending on my preferences. I really don't know how she does it. I ended up with such an elegant half-back do with the rest down and wavy and voluminous (the volume that she managed to coax out of my notoriously fine hair was seriously awesome). It was natural looking but still neat and classy with a subtle little pearl pin to add a touch of elegance. She and Kristyn (shimmerandspice makeup) worked together perfectly to arrange their arrivals and set-up times at my hotel. It made for such a lovely, relaxed, and beautiful morning! As a sidenote, my hair had so much body after I took out the wedding do that I didn't wash it for a long time after because I was so enjoying my thick luxurious hair! Thank you, Ariel! Ariel is GREAT! I found her on Instagram and I'm glad I did! We did a practice run at her home and she was very flexible to my ideas. she took the time to make sure I would get what I wanted.
On the wedding day she was very punctual and very professional. All my bridesmaids and both moms LOVED their hair, and my updo looked even better than the trial. We all got so many complements, and so many people wanted to know who did our hair.
I have very long and full hair, and did a full updo. We danced non stop for 6 hours and not a strand of hair was out of place at the end of the night. I had a hard time bringing myself to undo the hair at 1am! :)

I am so happy I found Ariel! She was super easy to work with via email since I planned my NJ wedding from CO, and when we met for my trial, I found out she was super sweet as well! I didn't have many ideas for how I wanted my hair when I had my trial, so I just described what I liked to Ariel. She somehow knew exactly what I was talking about, and hit the nail on the head on her first try! She recreated that look to perfection on my wedding day, and accommodated each of my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law with individualized looks. Everyone loved their hair, and there wasn't one do-over! Thanks, Ariel, for making all of us look beautiful for my wedding day.

I dreamed of doing a fo-hawk full of curls on my wedding, and Ariel made that happen. Even though my friends and family were skeptical of the idea, she stuck by my side, shared my creative vision, and created a beautiful hair style. PLUS, she sewed in gemstones on one side of the style. My hair was really my favorite thing about my bride look and I am so so grateful for Ariel's talent, awesome correspondence and fun energy! Also, my bridesmaids, mom, and maid of honor all loved their styles.

Ariel came recommended by a coworker who used her for her wedding. When I emailed her, she was quick to reply, very professional and friendly. Also, her rates were very competitive with other companies. I did a trial at her house and she really took the time to find the perfect updo for me. I am the most indecisive person in the world and she did not make me feel rushed or pressured at all. She was also really fun to talk to, my sister and I both said we wished we could be friends with her. The day of the wedding she recreated the trial hairstyle and it looked beautiful. She also did 3 bridesmaids and my flower girl's hair. They all turned out really pretty and everyone's hair stayed perfect for the whole day. I would highly recommend Ariel to anyone!

I had my wedding in Atlantic City, NJ so i needed to find someone that could do hair like they do up by me in Northern Jersey/NYC. South Jersey is fantastic in many aspects, but i could not find ANYONE that could do hair and/or makeup. So i thought why not try somewhere out of PA!? I came across Ariel on The Knot's website and loved everything from her website to her photos. I reached out to her and she got back to me right away. If there is anything that a bride can tell you that's planning her own wedding, the most important thing is responsiveness! We immediately clicked! I met Ariel for my hair trail down in AC while attending a girlfriend's wedding. First let me say that i NEVER get my hair done professionally so i was already a bit nervous of the outcome. i loved every style she did on me. I also felt comfortable enough to tell her how i "really" felt. On my wedding day, I was so happy when she arrived. It was like having another girlfriend to share my special day with. She made me and my girls look fabulous! I couldn't be happier. I felt sexy, beautiful, and confident with my style. I couldn't believe it was me! I wish i could have her with me everyday! She was super easy to work with and did a great job making my bridesmaids hair look very similar to the photos she had to work with. We were all very happy with Ariel and our hair. I was the mother of the groom and I have never felt as pretty in my whole life as I did on my son's wedding day. My hair was perfect. My only idea on how I wanted it fixed for this special day was that I wanted it up. I chose an updo because the wedding day was in late August, and the wedding was outdoors. I left the design decision up to Ariel's expertise to do what she felt was best and the outcome couldn't have been more perfect for me! Thank you for also making me feel comfortable on this very exciting day. Ariel also did hair for the bride and her four bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. Everyone was pleased how their hair was fixed. Our styles lasted the entire evening.

Finding a hairstylist who can bring your exact vision for your engagement photo shoot to life is no small feat. Wanting a very specific 1940s style hair and makeup, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find a stylist in my area who could properly convey the vintage nature of my makeup and hair. Immediately after my conversation with Ariel, I felt at ease. She was kind, professional and extremely talented and versatile. My hair and makeup were perfect! My only regret is that I had a destination wedding so I couldn't use her for my wedding day beauty needs. She truly is the best!

Ariel did an amazing job on my hair and make-up for my wedding day! Throughout the whole process, she was professional, quick to respond, helpful, encouraging, and super friendly and down to earth. I wanted a full updo with my medium length hair, and it couldn't have been lovelier and fuller. She did a fantastic job with my make up and was a calming presence on the big day. She's a great girl with high energy and fun to work with. I'd highly recommend her!
