Ariel was amazing!

I can't express how absolutely wonderful Ariel was to work with! From the moment we spoke on the phone I knew she was going to be a joy to work with. She was so down to earth, listened to exactly what I wanted and needed, and formed her plan around that. She helped to make a timeline for the wedding day (something I had no idea how to do!) and consistently kept in communication. Every process with her was so pleasant and smooth and she never minded my questions or concerns, or any updates/changes I needed to make. The day of she was SPECTACULAR, absolutely charming and got things done in such a timely, effective manner! She was a hoot to work with and got a long so well with my husband and I, it made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Even from the sneak peeks, it's easy to see that she has such natural talent and I can't wait to see the rest of my already beautiful wedding photos. I would choose her a thousand times over!

Best Photos Ever!

I cannot recommend Ariel enough for your wedding day. My (now) husband is notoriously not photogenic - his eyes are ALWAYS closed (though super handsome in person!) and ALL, and I mean ALL of our photos are perfect. She was able to get us to relax and have fun with her easygoing personality, silly jokes to make us laugh, and comfortable demeanor. If you want a photographer who is also an art director and miracle worker, look no further than Ariel. You will not regret it.

Amazingly wonderful family photos!

We can't begin to say enough about how incredibly impressed and happy we are with the family photos Ariel did for us a few weeks ago! The images she captured were not only beautiful, but she really focused on capturing the personality of our family! She was so incredibly fun to work with and our kiddos (who usually hate having their pictures taken) LOVED her! She made the entire experience so enjoyable and I am completely in love with the amazing memories she's created for us in these photos! These photos are truly a treasure for our family.

Love Ariel Hawkins Photography!

Ariel is so easy to work with. She makes every shoot comfortable and natural (which makes for great photos). She always keeps you in the loop with everything. We used her for our wedding and some family photos. She did not disappoint either time! I recommend her for any occasion. We have all the intentions of allowing her to capture our family milestones for years to come.

Wonderful!!

Ariel was so wonderful for our wedding. She arrived earlier then expected and was extremely professional. We have changed our venue a couple times due to COVID 19 and she was so good at working with us. I would highly recommend her.

Senior portraits

Ariel is absolutely wonderful to work with! My daughters senior portraits are amazing! Ariel made her feel comfortable and took the time to talk with her. We had so much fun and the pictures show it. When I was in high school we were told where we had to go and pictures were only done in studio. I was stressed at the thought of finding a photographer. Ariel was recommended to me and from the first minute on the phone with her I was convinced she was the one. She was informative, helpful and I could tell she loved photographing people. Her work, personality all reflect my first impression of her! I highly recommend her for any portrait needs! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Amazing service from an amazing Woman!

Ariel is absolutely amazing. She made sure to keep in contact with us until we were finally able to get our engagement photos done. She made sure to keep us informed, especially with all of the changes that were constantly being put in place due to COVID-19. During our photoshoot, she ensure we were comfortable and accommodated our every need.
When it came to getting our photos, she got them to us in a timely fashion.

When it came to our wedding, She was extremely accommodating. She did everything to she could to ensure that we were comfortable (Due to COVID-19). She was very flexible with locations and any spur of the moment changes we ended up making. She was fantastic with all of our guests as well. She got us some sneak peaks of our photos within a couple of days and the rest of the photos within a couple of weeks.

I highly recommend hiring Ariel for all of your photography needs.

She blows us away...Again!

Ariel has photographed all of our major life events together as a couple and family. Every time we think that she has outdone herself, we get the proofs and we are blown away yet again. I don't think there is a limit to her talents and we always look forward to working with her. Ariel has such a vibrant and professional attitude towards life and her work! We cannot thank her enough for the beautiful memories we have made with her.

Ariel is so fun!

My boyfriend and i have never had professional pictures done and she really made us feel so comfortable and easy going! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone, but ESPECIALLY couples!! 10/10!

Super Fun and natural!

Ariel makes you feel at ease and your pictures feel natural not posed. I usually hate pics of myself but when I look at the pics she took off us I just see Happy!

Ariel did our fall family pictures and they turned out amazing!! Ariel did so well getting pictures of our very active 2 year old! She's always so professional and personable and her love for the job defiantly shows in her work. The best photographer!

Ariel has been capturing our family photos for yours. Our walls are covered with her photos that she has taken of our family. They are the best! She is so talented behind the lens and captures images I didn’t even think were possible. I have 9 year old twins and she’s been shooting them since they were 4! She is so good with kids putting them at ease to capture the best photos! Just love working with her! She’s the best!

Working with Ariel was easily the best decision my wife and I made through this process. My family did a photo shoot with Ariel down at The Cobblestone in Buffalo. The casual/industrial background was perfect. She was very flexible with our very busy schedule. The photos she captured are natural and relaxed. Very happy with our experience!

We are thrilled with our family photos. We have two young children that are full of energy so the idea of a family shoot was very stressful; however, Ariel was amazing with our kids. She was able to get genuine smiles out of our girls which resulted in amazing pictures, we couldn't be happier!

Ariel rocks! From the minute we arrived at our venue Ariel was right there talking us through the process; she even helped me get my dress and shoes on! Ariel is funny, personable, talented and blended right in with our family and friends- the experience was seamless. Ariel did a wonderful job on our family photos! She arranged her schedule to be available on short notice (the family reunion came together in the last week!) She was friendly, professional, and very patient with our rambunctious group of 22 people, including a baby! She was a pleasure to work with and we are VERY happy with the quality of the pictures. Ariel was so accommodating to my needs for the photos I wanted with my daughter. She needed to travel and was more than willing. I actually had to reschedule due to weather but it worked out fantastic and we were able to get them done in the perfect weather. My daughter loved her and Ariel was great with her!! Totally recommend!! My pictures came out beautiful!!!

We are a rambunctious family of 6 and I was a little worried that we weren’t going to be able to get everyone to cooperate for this photo session, especially our newborn and 2 year old lol Ariel came in and immediately made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. She was sweet and friendly, incredibly professional and our session was so fun!!! We absolutely loved our photos, she was able to capture who we are as a family and that means so much to me!! We can’t wait until the fall for our next family session:)

We had Ariel come and do newborn shots of our daughter Luella. She was kind and very professional. I felt comfortable opening up my home to do the shoot. The pictures came out wonderful. So wonderful that we had a hard time choosing our prints. I’m thrilled to have photos we can hang in our home and brag about to all my friends and family. We will be using her again in the future for more family photos.

When my fiancé and I got engaged and decided to get married 5 and a half months later, I was assuming there’d be no hope to get engagement photos in time for our save the dates (which were, let’s face it, already 2+ weeks late)....until I asked around and was given rave reviews of Ariel Hawkins photography skills and quick turn around. After contacting her on a Monday, we setup a shoot for two days later on Wednesday, and less than a week later had ALL of our photos retouched and ready to put in our save the dates!!! Ariel is an absolute GODSEND with how quick and accommodating she was and my fiancé and I had an absolute BLAST with our photo shoot!! Ariel is so laid back and made us very comfortable in front of the camera while we laughed and chatted throughout! Neither of us are models, but she made us look fantastic and captured some beautiful moments of us as an engaged couple. I can’t say enough good things and am unbelievably grateful to have worked with her, and can’t wait for her to photograph us on our wedding day!!!!!!

Recently had pleasure of working with Ariel again for my son's 1 year photo shoot. We were able to also capture some timeless photos of my new family that will be cherished forever! My family recently had pictures done with Ariel, and I have to say, it was the best experience I've had with a photographer. She was great from start to finish. The first time me, my husband, and our (at the time) 3 daughters met with her back in April, she had food, drinks, and tv to occupy our overly active children and was way cooler with them than I was!!

Over the past few months up until our photo session, Ariel stayed in contact with me regularly and got back to my text messages within minutes!! (Thank you Ariel). She gave me feedback on outfits to wear for the session and location ideas which were super helpful seeing as I am not very creative!!

The day of our session, Ariel literally did an entire wedding session the day before, and you couldn't even tell. She was so good with our 4 girls (as crazy as they were being!!). She made me laugh a ton and I seriously feel like I've known her forever!!

Here is the best part!! Ariel had our pictures ready for us to look at within a frigin week!! And the pictures are beautiful!!!! I had such a hard time narrowing them down. I couldn't believe she got so many good pictures of the girls, they were literally nuts!!

My wife and I wanted a family photo, and we saw Ariel' s storefront near our house. I also went to school with her sister, so we decided to keep it super local and give her a shot.

She walked us through the entire process in a way that felt friendly and not pushy at all. She was also able to keep our kiddos occupado (which is a 5 star feat in and of itself!). We left her office feeling ecstatic and anticipating our photo shoot.

On our photo shoot day, Ariel was essentially just one of the family. She got our girls to listen and follow directions, and when they inevitably got distracted, she went with the flow and just let them be kids (while getting great shots of them, too).

The shots of my wife and me were unbelievable too. The ways Ariel got us to "pose" made us laugh and show genuine happiness and laughs. While the photos were great, most importantly we will remember those moments in between the shots forever due to how Ariel directed us to talk, act, and pose.

Once we had to choose the images we wanted, if it wasn't for Ariel, we'd still be there looking at all the images. Ariel guided us through the selection process right in our home. She helped us decide what images to choose, what sizes we wanted, where to put them in our house, even how to arrange them.

We can't say enough good things about Ariel, from her photography, to professionalism, to personality, but we can say we recommend her 100%!

We will be using her for our next photo shoot, and so should you!

Ran into Ariel at a wedding she was shooting and she seemed like a blast to work with and had a great sense of humor. The Bride and Groom couldn't say enough good things and we had another recommendation from a friend that she was excellent working with kids. We did a newborn shoot with her at our house and she was able to get great family shots and had our 3 week old daughter comfortable and relaxed for the entire session and was able to get some great shots. To sum up our experience working with Ariel in one word would be "amazing!" We recently reached out to Ariel to set up a newborn/family photo session - she was so easy to communicate with via phone, email and text throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the photoshoot she arrived at our home promptly and was well prepared with equipment and props. Ariel was able to put my husband and I at ease in front of the camera (normally when we take photos one of us looks good and the other looks goofy); but Ariel was able to shoot many images where we both look our best - it was hard to narrow down our favorites! Our photo shoot with Ariel was fun; she is funny, warm, and makes you feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera. Ariel handled our newborn daughter with great care, and she was able to create beautiful images of our daughter in the first two weeks of her life. I am pleased that Ariel captured such authentic, powerful, and emotional shots of our new family. I am in awe of the finished product, and will always cherish these photos of us with our newborn baby girl. Ariel is such a talented photographer and someone to be trusted to capture your family memories. Working with Ariel was a no-brainer for us, she's incredible at her craft. After many google searches and scanning the web for local photographers, I kept going back to Ariel's website. My husband and I recently had a family photo session and there is no doubt Ariel has a special gift. She is an absolute professional behind the camera and a joy to work with. Had I known then what I know now, there is no doubt in my mind that Ariel would've been my wedding photographer! My fiance and I are the type of people who usually actively avoid having our picture taken. Needless to say we were not looking forward to our engagement session at all. We just did our engagement photo session with Ariel yesterday, and we can't say enough good things! First, getting ahold of her and scheduling the session was so easy because she was so flexible and responsive with her emails almost immediately! As a bride, that makes everything easier when you hear back that fast. She answered all our questions and came so prepared. I sent Ariel a bunch of photos I wanted to try and she made sure we did every single one. Personality wise, she is just so fun and easy to work with...we honestly had the best time laughing with her and just enjoying the shoot. It didn't feel forced or uncomfortable at all, it just felt like we were taking pictures with a friend. She has a real eye for what spots would look good, and is super helpful with her encouragement to just be natural. You can absolutely tell Ariel loves what she does. We only saw a sneak peak but are sooo excited to see the rest and work with her on our wedding day next summer!! We would already recommend Ariel to anyone! PS- she also traveled 45 minutes to come shoot us, just another thing we appreciate about her!

Not only is Ariel is an amazing photographer she is an amazing person. It was such a great experience having her as our wedding photographer. She made the whole experience so relaxing and personal. She is so down to earth it was like we were working with a life long friend. Working with her was line a breath of fresh air during such a busy time. The photographs she took for our wedding really captured who we are. I couldn't be more happier with her and pictures.

While planning our wedding, my wife had done a lot of research on photographers. We weren't having a lot of luck with companies returning our calls or availability. We happened to be driving by Ariel's shop and decided to call and check her out. We were so glad we did. Ariel worked around our schedules to set up an initial meet with us. We met at her shop, which is very comfortable and welcoming, and she showed us some of her work and asked us what we were looking for. After only a few minutes of talking with Ariel, we knew she was the one for us. Her personality, professionalism and style was exactly what we were looking for. The price was only a perk. Ariel was not only more affordable, but you get so much more bang for your buck with her. After our engagement session with Ariel, which was not an easy one because it was outside in the middle of winter and near the Niagara river, we received our pictures earlier then expected and they were amazing!! She sent us out some sneak peaks too. Ariel was in contact with us multiple times before the actual wedding date and had us set up an appointment with her to go over all the pictures we wanted and even gave us ideas on things we didn't think of. We never had any issues getting a hold of her. She was very prompt in getting back to us when we had questions or just wanted to confirm details. When it came to the day of the wedding, Ariel and her second photographer, Mark, both showed up early and ready to go. Not only did she help us capture all of the memories from our day but she had fun with us while doing it. We received our pictures from our wedding a lot quicker then we expected and we were not disappointed. Our pictures turned out amazing. Ariel was a blast to work with and will definitely be our photographer for all of our future occasions.

Ariel is amazing! After meeting with her, I knew we were going to have a great time with our engagement and wedding photos. From our first meeting I knew Ariel was the one I wanted to tell my wedding day story! She was extremely professional but even more fun!!! Ariel and her second shooter Iggy did an amazing job at our wedding! From the moment we met Ariel, we knew we would have a great time on our wedding day. She kept me calm when there was a tornado warning and the day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. They found perfect locations for our first looks, group photos and our sunset shoot. Ariel is a a treasure! We recently had our engagement/ save the date photos done with her and Mark Miller. She was WONDERFUL! She welcomed our ideas, provided a wealth of knowledge and above all, made it easy and fun! We were both completely at ease.

Having worked in the wedding industry, I have encountered dozens of photographers. One thing that really separates Ariel is how she has the distinct ability to really capture peoples personalities. Reviewing the photos, I was in awe of the genuine and endearing moments she was able to catch.

I did not know much about photography and certainly was not aware that the end result could vary that much.
My wife and me did a wedding session with Ariel prior to the wedding and I was so impressed with the results. I simply could not believe how she had been able to capture our happiness and put in in a picture form.

When the wedding came, I wondered if she would be able to do the same with the ceremony. We actually had three photographer to capture the moment.

Ariel invite us to her studio to review the final product. I have to admit, I had tears in my eyes. I was absolutely amazed at how beautiful the pictures were and how professional they looked. Ariel was able to capture the best sides of all the people and made my wife look even better than in person which is a feat by itself. I could compare the difference in quality between photographer and Ariel was in a class of her own.

Even up to this day, I frequently look at our wedding pictures and I still can't get over how beautiful they look.

Above all, I am extremely grateful to have been able to work with Ariel and benefit from her professionalism and talent. I could not have wished for a better result

I highly, highly recommend Ariel Hawkins Photography! Here are a few reasons why...

First off, the overall experience. Working with Ariel is like working with a friend that you’ve known for years.. And I sincerely mean that. She has this way of making you feel instantly comfortable and is absolutely wonderful to work with, through every step of the process. From the first consultation with my fiancé and I, through our engagement session, and our wedding Ariel really took the time to learn more about us and understand the vision that we had for our photos. She was able to take our vision and put her creative spin on it, making the sessions truly customized (and fun!) experiences. She also managed to keep us calm during some not so ideal weather conditions on our wedding day, which was extremely appreciated! We still managed to get the photos we wanted and all turned out perfectly!

Next, is the quality of work. Ariel's overall creativity and attention to detail is AMAZING. She is an artist that clearly loves what she does. All of her ideas are completely original and incorporate details and creative spins that I would never think to include. We have so many beautiful (and original!) photos as a result and are beyond happy with that. She was running around all over at our wedding to capture everything and we received numerous compliments from our guests about her work ethic (and friendliness!).

I can't recommend Ariel enough. We are SO happy we had the opportunity to work with her and have some beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime.

I had a family photo session last week with Ariel and it was a great experience! She made us feel super comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves and not like a camera was in our faces.

Ariel is super sweet and makes you feel very comfortable during the shoot. We don't love taking pictures and we ended up with a bunch of really great ones! We needed her around Thanksgiving due to the fact that this is the only time of year our whole family is home and she was able to accommodate that request. The quality of pictures was absolutely stunning and extended family members ended up requesting extra prints for their homes! Overall we had a very positive experience with Ariel and would definitely recommend her to friends and use her again.

Family Photo Session

We used Ariel for a family photo session. Ariel was responsive and flexible. Very nice photos and she was great with the toddlers. Family photos were limited to 8 photos...I would have liked more.
