Phenomenal

Do yourself a favor and book an appointment immediately! I had the SWEETEST staff helping me, and I had never felt more beautiful. Before I begin, I’d like to say I have been all over San Diego in search for the perfect dress for months! I had found things I liked, but still hadn’t found the “one”. The second I walked into Archive, I knew it was my place! The dresses are stunning, affordable, and the staff is warm and inviting. I worked with Crystal, and let me tell you, she is phenomenal! She was the BEST with my family and bridesmaids I came with, and saw my vision and understood what looked good on my body immediately. She actually was the one who chose my “one”!!! The moment we knew it was it, we came out with the veil and everyone clapped and I truly felt like they genuinely cared about our experience. Crystal, I can’t thank you enough for making my bridal dreams come true. You stayed in my budget, and found me the most jaw-dropping gown imaginable!! Do yourself a favor and go in today, you absolutely won’t regret a second of it!

Sparkly dress

I bought my reception dress at Archive and my gosh am I still obsessed with it! Not only is the store super cute, but so are their dresses! They have so many styles to choose from and the staff are well trained at finding the pieces that would best fit your style and body. During the visit, we got to sip on champagne and enjoy the process. For the dress I chose, I got to order it exactly to my size and measurements rather than a basic size that would then need to be altered. This made my fitting super quick as it already fit perfectly. The dress really sparkled and shined throughout the night and was super fun to wear! It made for the perfect outfit change & was still affordable. I couldn’t have found a more perfect dress for the night!

Amazing experience and gorgeous gowns at Archive Bridal!

My experience at Archive Bridal was absolutely amazing! I booked the Premier Appointment so I could bring along five of my favorite ladies, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and led to our own private dressing area. The champagne they provided set the perfect tone for a fun, positive, and exciting shopping day. The selection of gowns was stunning, with beautiful quality designs, and after trying on several options, I finally said yes to the dress! We took lots of gorgeous photos to capture the moment, and I really appreciated how patient the staff was with my indecisiveness.

The fittings leading up to my wedding were also a fantastic experience. I especially loved working with Crystal—she was an absolute delight! Her constant positivity and good energy made every visit so enjoyable from start to finish. I also appreciated that Archive Bridal has in-house seamstresses to customize my dress, which made the process so smooth and stress-free.

Overall, I had an incredible experience and would highly recommend Archive Bridal to anyone looking for bridal gowns and veils. They truly made the entire process unforgettable!

Willing to go the distance

We initially had a misunderstanding in the alterations process. I took the dress home even though I wasn’t quite sure and when a new seamstress pointed out flaws I became really upset. With less than 3 weeks till my wedding I thought it was a lost cause, but the store owner reached out to me and is making it right. It is clear she really cares about her business and her brides. I’m in shock and so happy that this is being resolved and can’t wait to wear my dream dress for my big day.

Amazing Customer Service

Archive was the first bridal boutique that I tried on dresses and one of my friends had gotten her dress there as well. The fitting experience was a 10/10. The sales associate listened closely to what I was envisioning and the dress she chose for me to try on first ended up being my wedding dress. The shop was perfect for having some family and friends with me and they were very welcoming to our group. The experience was a dream. I also went with Archive for my alterations and I am SO HAPPY that I did. My dress ended up needing some restructuring and a lot of alterations to the top of the dress. The owner of Archive was truly invested in making sure that the dress fit me perfectly and we had about 5 fittings with her, going back and forth with the seamstress and I'm so happy to say that she made it possible. The customer service was unparalleled and they also gave me a complimentary dress cleaning. I recommend Archive to all my newly engaged friends and love how friendly and kind all the sales associates are - they truly make you feel like a bride!

I love these ladies!

These ladies were so fun to work with. Tracy helped me choose my dress and she has such great taste. Like most brides, my saved pictures of dresses I thought I wanted did not end up being what I fell in love with in person. She chose a dress I didn't think I would like, but she knew would look great and she was absolutely right! Working with the rest of the team through the fittings was a pleasure as well. I had asked if the dress could be altered in way that could be re-altered if I have daughters that choose to wear my dress for their own wedding day and they made that happen, no problem. Another thing to note is that this whole experience still felt so special even while following regulations for covid. It's a shame that I'll only ever need a wedding dress once in my life because they made my dress shopping experience so fun that I want to do it again! I know exactly where to send my friends and family.

Your one stop shop for your bridal gown

Archive bridal is your one stop shop! They have beautiful gowns, an inhouse seamstress, wedding day accessories, and aftercare service to preserve your gown and veil. Plus, they have the friendliest staff that really wants to make sure your gown is perfect for your big day. I found my dress almost a year before my wedding date and on the day of the wedding my dress looked and fit perfectly. Thank you Archive Bridal for all that you did to make me feel beautiful and confident on my big day.

Best dress shopping experience!

After going to four cities and approximately 15 bridal shops when my sister was getting married I was dreading dress shopping. I made a bunch of appointments but I started at Archive. Upon walking in, Crystal greeted us and was so warm and friendly I immediately relaxed. We talked about what I was looking for in a dress (something simple and classic) and my budget. She selected a few options and we got started. Crystal NAILED what I was looking for. Literally the first dress I tried on was my dream dress! We tried on additional dresses to make sure it was the one. Archive has a very wide range of dresses—from the simple dress I was looking for to the lacy ball gowns to sexy silhouettes—they have everything you’re looking for. The dress I picked out had been part of a recent trunk show and Archive was kind enough to honor the trunk show pricing. I canceled the rest of my appointments! I loved working with Archive—Crystal helped me pick out hair accessories, undergarments and getting ready apparel. She even took a video of how to bustle my dress! I loved that Archive offers in-house tailoring and storage services, which made everything so much easier. Now that my wedding is over, I’m taking my dress back to Archive for cleaning and preservation. I highly recommend shopping here!

Found a dress right away!

This review is long overdue! I have had the BEST experience at Archive Bridal from the start with Tracy as my consultant. She really listened to what I said I wanted in a wedding dress, and found me the perfect dress right away! I loved that she didn't try to push me to try on things outside my comfort zone or talk me into something that wasn't my vision for my big day. Everything she suggested was exactly what I had envisioned! Tracy (and the other girls) could not have made me (and my mom and sister) feel more welcome or comfortable! Tracy even sent me the sweetest thank you note after I bought my dress - customer service does not get better than that!

Since buying my dress, the whole team at Archive Bridal has been so patient with me as I've made alterations and truly has gone above and beyond to work with me to make sure I feel my best on my wedding day. The whole experience has exceeded my expectations and I am so thankful that dress shopping was one less thing I had to worry or stress about - Archive Bridal has made it an absolute dream!

I highly encourage every bride to start at Archive Bridal. Two of my friends have had the same positive experience as me so I promise you won't be disappointed :)

We walked into Archive Bridal not expecting to find a dress, but within hours had found the wedding dress of my dreams! Tracy was phenomenal to work with, had such valuable insight throughout the process, and truly listened to what I was looking for (within our price range). My mom and I both agreed it was one of our favorite parts of the planning process. I also had custom tulle straps added to the dress at Tracy's suggestion and it totally pulled the look together. I cannot recommend Archive more highly!

Every aspect of my experience at Archive Bridal was incredible. First, the amazing selection of gowns in a variety of styles and price points is wonderful. Couple that with a staff that listens to your needs and are both helpful and knowledgable, it is a great experience all around. Finally, Paulette and her team offer the best tailoring you could ever find. My dress looked like it was painted on me - I got countless compliments on the dress both on my wedding day and after when more people saw pictures. I cannot recommend Archive Bridal enough!

Paulette was awesome!
She determined the style that I liked and pointed me in the right direction, pulling styles of that kind for me to try. I changed my mind back and forth several times. She just kept on putting me in or back into the dresses I wanted to try. She has a very clean store, it is family owned. She is very pleasant to work with, as well as fun and personable.

I found my PERFECT wedding gown at ARCHIVE Bridal. Their selection of wedding dresses is top notch and the shop is adorable. The whole staff is so nice and I'd recommend anyone to check them out to find their dress for their BIG day. I'll definitely be recommending them to all my gals moving forward. I wish I could wear my Pronovias gown over and over again :)

I had such a wonderful experience at Archive Bridal. The salon is absolutely beautiful – very glamorous and clean – and everyone was so nice. I had been to several salons already and tried on too many gowns in search of the perfect dress, but had not yet felt convinced enough to commit to one. Ironically, Archive Bridal did not carry the Allure gown I eventually decided on, but thankfully they could order it for me. I had such a wonderful experience there that I preferred to order my gown through them than from the salon where I had originally tried it on. They were very helpful and communicative throughout the process of ordering the gown. They do alterations as well, so that was awesomely convenient. I worked with Paulette in alterations and she was just the best! There were many small (but important!) adjustments that needed to be made to my gown, and her work was meticulous. She even took the time to sew in a swatch of lace from my grandmother's wedding gown. I am so happy with the way the gown turned out. Thank you to everyone at Archive Bridal! A special thank you to Rana and Paulette who helped make my dream dress a reality!

Archive bridal in Carlsbad is the place to buy a wedding dress! The women in there are extremely knowledgeable and talented. Having been several times, the atmosphere was always positive and relaxed. They were very personable and I would highly recommend their company to any bride looking for a perfect dress and fit!

Zero pressure, great selection, welcoming environment to bride and groom equally, reasonable prices, and wonderful staff. My wedding gown was absolutely gorgeous and I was treated special through the entire process.

I literally cannot say enough amazing things about Archive. THE BEST BRIDAL STORE EVERRR!!! Not only are the dresses at the store the most incredible dresses I've ever laid eyes on, but the customer service is bar none the best in the business.

First off, Archive Bridal is the just the most beautiful bridal store. Immediately when I walked in I fell in love! Dripping with class and beauty as each gown hangs perfectly next to an equally gorgeous gown. The ladies at the store make you feel like you are the most important person in the world the second you walk in. Cat my bridal consultant totally understood my vision and every dress she picked was incredible! She was so patient, kind and completely understanding of the style I wanted.

I said yes to my dress in back in July on National Bridal Sale day (I'm a gal who loves a good deal). I knew I always wanted to go to Archive as I had read and heard so many wonderful things about them. Let me tell you, they exceeded every one of my expectations and then some. On the day I found my dress I knew it was "the one" when I tried it on and because it was on sale I of course bought it. As most girls do, I had a dress I had always wanted to try on and because I loved my dress at Archive so much that day I had forgot about that one dress I always wanted to try on. I called Archive and told them my dilemma and not only were they beyond sweet and understanding, but they actually ordered the sample I had always wanted to try on! They said they wanted me to be to be sure I had the right dress. The sample came in within days of my request and would you know it the dress I first said yes too ended up being the one! But the gals at Archive were so supportive and made my experience better than I could have dreamed!!!

Archive Bridal, and Paulette in particular, were amazing to work with! Their store was the only I looked at for a dress. They had such a wide selection, and I found the perfect dress! Paulette was super sweet, and helped pick out the perfect veil and belt to accessorize with. I also had my dress altered there, and it was all in all a fairly quick process! I would highly recommend stopping by!

I can't say enough nice things about Paulette and Archive Bridal. I sent queries to 10 different bridal shops with a concept and asked if they could alter a dress to meet my request. Most responded that they "can't customize, the designers won't do that, come in and we can talk about it." I actually provided several options of dresses I wanted to try on that I thought could be alter to my specific request and most would not commit to getting those dresses for me to try on. Some only carry their brand and not any designer dresses.

Paulette responded YES she could do that and she carries the dresses I was considering and told me which ones would work and which wouldn't, she asked me to drop by anytime for a preview of the stock she carried and quality of the designers in her store.

I went to only one bridal appointment and tried on around 8 dresses and the one I ended up with was the one that Paulette specifically picked out at a resent show she attended to give me what I wanted. It was the 2nd dress I tried on and turned out to be spot on.

Paulette knows her stuff and her alterations lady is fantastic. I'm getting the dress of my dreams.

I made an appointment over the phone from Florida to let these ladies know I was visiting family and wanted to bring them along just to look. It was my first ever experience trying on gowns and I had no intention of purchasing! I never once felt pressured and it amazes me how much they focused on just me and my perfect gown. I am fairly positive I tried on over half the store and they were patient and so helpful. I ended up falling in love with a gown and bought it anyways. They were gracious and helped me figure out how I would get my gown all the way to Florida from Cali. I can't imagine having bought my dress and veil from anywhere else.

My daughter's beautiful Paloma Blanca dress just came in, and it is gorgeous. The young woman (owner) at Archive has been absolutely fantastic about everything and very helpful during the choosing phase. I highly recommend Archive Bridal.

I will start by saying I LOVED my experience at Archive Bridal, and would highly recommend them to anyone. I first heard about them from googling and the knot.com. Living in north county, I was stoked they were so close. Then, Archive was at the Wedding Divas Bridal show I attended as well. I made my appointment at the show and couldn't wait. I read great reviews about the store and Paulette, and from the moment I walked in the door, I knew why. She greeted me instantly and got to know me and what I wanted. I showed her my pinterest and she immediately picked a few that I already loved. One important factor to me was my budget. I asked her the price range of dresses, and it was about $500 over my budget. I told her what I was thinking and she ran and grabbed 3 dresses that were right there! I was so grateful, because I didn't want to get my hopes up with a dress that was too expensive. Every dress that she picked for me was perfect, I loved them all! It was so refreshing to be in their shop. I had tried dresses on at 2 previous places and I didn't like any dress and felt very discouraged. Being at Archive was more than anything I could imagine. They are so friendly, welcoming, and have an amazing selection! I did end up finding my dress and appreciated that they were not pushy at all (like the 2 other places I went) on buying it right then. I explained I had friends coming in to town and I wanted to show them and I still needed the funds. They were so great and accommodating. Oh and one other awesome thing, they do all their alterations and have other cute things in the store as well. I can't wait to go back this weekend and to finally get the dress of my dreams!

Paulette is WONDERFUL! I had no idea what I was doing when it came to getting my dress altered. I bought it in Colorado and it was 3 sizes too big. Paulette made suggestions on even how we could change a few things on my dress to make it more flattering to my body and it turned out amazing! I went in for my first appointment 7 weeks before my wedding and went back for two fittings and took it home with me 4 weeks before my wedding, so I had NO stress about it at all! Oh..and Paulette has such a wonderful demeanor and is hilarious. I absolutely loved her!

These ladies know their stuff! I bought a dress that was huge on me! It was a sample, but a size 14. They changed the neckline, dropped the back, and changed it to a size 4! It was beautiful! And they made me a custom veil to mimic an oscar de la reinta veil I fell in love with. They are so sweet, fabulous, and family run!

Once I found my dress I knew I still needed to find the perfect accessories and that’s where Archive Bridal came in to save the day! I went into the Archive Bridal as a walk in customer to check out the veils with my mom and I ended up finding the perfect fit for my big day! The owners were there and were nice and welcoming, we may have only been there to check out the veils but they gave us an experience to remember champagne and cake included! They have great customer service and I would tell any San Diego Bride to check them out for any of their wedding day needs!

What an outstanding bridal salon!! Although I did not choose my wedding dress from Archive it was my second choice and I would have absolutely been thrilled with the choice. Crystal was the sales associate I worked with during the process and she was excellent. Very professional and easy to communicate with through the whole process. The salon was the nicest one I went into out of visiting several shops, would highly recommend when finding your dream dress.
