They were so easy to work with and were the highlight of the wedding. My guests were loving it and I got so many comments on it's the best band they've seen. Even my photographer said it's by far the best band he's ever seen at a wedding! -

I've attended two weddings this year in Columbus, Ohio, both of which Arch City Lights was the entertainment and boy did they deliver! The dance floor was never empty. They catered to all ages - from your classic oldies to today's top hits. You won't be disappointed in partnering with Arch City Lights on your next event, wedding, outing, etc. They are truly the best. -

Arch City Lights was amazing. I was initially a little nervous because I booked them based off a recommendation, but now I couldn’t recommend them more! Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and they knew exactly what songs to play to keep both our older and younger guests dancing. You can pick the size of band you would like for your event, and everyone is so talented. Multiple guests came up to me during the night saying ours was “the most fun wedding” they’ve ever been to, which was my husbands an my goal for our reception. Wish we could do the night again!! -

The HIGHLIGHT of our wedding day and night!
We had such an amazing experience working with Emily and the rest of Arch City Lights. From the get go, Emily was responsive and very patient with us as we ironed out the venue, date, and timing of the ceremony and reception. They were able to provide live music (piano and violin) for our ceremony, followed by the full wedding band for the reception. We had some last-minute concerns about the room being too dark during the reception, but Arch City Lights was able to rent out both uplighting and dance floor lights - something that our venue could not do.
They helped keep the night on track by introducing the wedding parties, readying the people giving toasts/speeches, and handling any other small detail that came up. My (now) husband's special song request was a "1950s jazz version" of 21 Questions by 50 Cent, which the band happily accepted and absolutely nailed! We finished the night with a private last dance to Beyond by Leon Bridges, which was incredibly special for us.
Cannot recommend Emily and Arch City Lights enough! -

Arch City Lights is THE BEST!
Arch City Lights was the talk of our wedding! If you're looking for a band for your wedding - stop looking, and book them now! We went to watch them perform at a bar and immediately knew they had the energy and sound we wanted for our wedding day. Every band member is so incredibly talented. Emily is also so kind, patient, organized, communicative, and a great MC. I was nervous about incorporating some cultural music requests in between the live sets, but Emily took care of it perfectly. All of our guests were raving about how amazing Arch City Lights was and how incredible they sounded! They stuck to the music we requested and kept the dance floor alive all night. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you guys SO much! -

We are absolutely thrilled that we hired Arch City Lights for our wedding! They performed during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — and every single moment was flawless. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable.
The music was exceptional — elegant and emotional during the ceremony, perfectly curated and classy during cocktails, and then they brought the energy and had the dance floor packed all night long! So many of our guests came up to us saying it was the best wedding music they’d ever experienced — and we couldn’t agree more.
Working with Arch City Lights was one of the best decisions we made. They were responsive, organized, and genuinely cared about getting everything just right. We had Arch City Lights play for our wedding. The experience was incredible from start to finish. Emily is a wonderful partner to work with. She is reliable and quick to respond to communication and so positive. The music at our wedding was the most complimented part of our day. Starting with a string quartet at our ceremony, a jazz duo at cocktail hour and an 8 piece band at the reception everything was flawless. Arch City Lights does a great job of offering the right variety of music, factoring in our preferences and reading the crowd. I truly cannot recommend them enough!! -

Arch City Lights was absolutely incredible! They truly made our wedding weekend one to remember. We lost count of the number of times our guests came up to us throughout the night and after the weekend commenting on how fantastic the band was. We never wanted to leave the dance floor and our guests felt the same! Throughout the planning process Emily, one of the lead singers and the coordinator for the band, was so attentive and responsive to us, as if we were their only client. She answered all of our questions, the band even learned to play a specific cut of our first dance and it was perfect. We cannot recommend hiring this band enough - for any occasion. I'm confident they will soon be the premiere wedding band in the Columbus area and likely impossible to book!

We hired Emily and Arch City Lights for our wedding, and they absolutely blew us away! From the first song to the last dance, they kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. Their setlist was perfect, blending classic hits with modern favorites, and they even learned three new songs for us! The lead singer’s voice was phenomenal, and the musicians were incredibly talented. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them, and many have asked for their contact info. The Perfect Band for a Perfect Night
We had the incredible pleasure of having Arch City Lights as the live band for our wedding this past November and we couldn’t have asked for better. Emily worked with us to help match our desired sound by tailoring the ceremony music, cocktail jazz trio, and the playlist for the reception to have the old-school feel we were looking for. The band was able to provide the full scale of services for the wedding day: their pianist played some beautiful covers of selected music for the ceremony. The horns and piano set a great mood during the cocktail hour. Emily MC’d the evening, corralling guests and making sure everything went smoothly. She sang a beautiful rendition of our first dance song which they had to learn for the big day. But Arch City Lights truly shined when it came time to get people dancing. We opted for the seven-piece ensemble, which included a horn section. They performed an awesome setlist – a mix of our suggestions and their own wedding hits - that had our guests dancing until the very last song. Their prices are very competitive, and we felt that their performance was well above other bands we looked into within the same price tier. In addition to great music, they brought a great energy to the night and were so kind and accommodating. We can’t recommend them enough!

Arch City Lights made our wedding day so unforgettable! They had amazing energy and were so accommodating to our requests. Their set list was truly the best and kept they dance floor packed all night!

Want to throw another wedding just for ACL!
Emily and the ACL Band absolutely killed it at our wedding. Our dance floor was packed all night and so many people came up to us to tell us how amazing they were! They were kind enough to learn 3 new songs that we requested, and even accommodated us asking to have the sax and trumpet out on the dance floor with us for our grand entrance song. Wish we could throw another reception just to have them back! 100% recommend. -

Arch City Lights was truly amazing and helped us have a wedding reception that matched the energy and love of our wedding day. The party was nonstop from the first song to the last.
Our guests raved about the band, and the praise is still coming in! They brought energy, enthusiasm, and so much talent. Their repertoire of songs is vast and they learned multiple songs by request. DJ’ed music during breaks kept the party going without losing the crowd or the vibe. They are also flexible and can add brass instruments to accommodate your size and preference needs.
Emily was professional and communicative throughout – from chatting with us for awhile after one of their showcase events, to organizing a shared doc that had all the information we needed – and more we hadn’t even thought of, to checking in multiple times the month before to confirm final details and keep the communication going. Arch City Lights also arranged the string duo for our ceremony music – and they were fantastic. It was incredibly helpful to have all our music needs taken care of through one vendor.
We would recommend them to anyone and will cherish the memories they helped create for a life time. 10/10 band!

Arch City Lights played at our wedding and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I was so amazed with how incredible they were and they really brought the party (especially for NYE). I had so many guests compliment the band and said they were the best they have heard in Columbus, Ohio. Emily was very professional and responded to emails/calls in a timely manner. Additionally, she was extremely organized, and I trusted her recommendations and suggestions. We gave her a list of songs to play and not to play and she followed that and added others based off the crowd. The dance floor was packed the whole night. I highly recommend using Arch City Lights and couldn’t speak more highly of them!!! We love Emily and I can’t thank her and her band enough for their incredible work! -

Absolutely wonderful! More than we could have ever hoped for!
We hosted a gala for the 200th anniversary of The City of Columbus Division of Fire, and Arch City Lights was the absolute PERFECT band for the event. They asked ahead of time for the overall vibe of the event, age of the crowd, etc. They were accommodating, kind, communicative, and INSANELY talented. I can't believe they have so many incredible musicians in one group! Every single one of them is a star. I simply cannot recommend this group more for any event. You will be blown away - and so, so happy! -

Where do I begin? Booking Arch City Lights for our wedding was the best decision I have ever made. They are absolutely epic. If you are debating between them and another band, book Arch City!
I myself unsure of where to begin when looking into wedding bands because it seemed like such a gamble. I was looking at the Knot like those of you reading this, when I realized that I had seen Emily perform with her other band Whiskey Business in Columbus years ago. I remembered being amazed by her talent and beautiful voice. I felt like this was a sign that she was the one! I reached out to her, and she responded promptly and answered all of my questions. (If you have any reservations whatsoever or really like to do your homework – I would encourage you to see her perform at Brothers Drake or Due Amici.)
Booking Arch City really elevated our entire wedding into another dimension. I feel like I don’t have the words to properly convey my gratitude for them. We adore live music, and we wanted a band who could keep our guests dancing all night long. Their performance felt like a personal concert, like someone said below. Many weddings I have attended in the past seem to drag, and many people leave early. At the end of our night, it felt like barely anyone left – our dance floor was still packed! If you want a unique wedding experience and ensure that your guests have a blast – Arch City will make it happen. They had a such a wide range of music to select from, and it appealed to all generations that were fun for the whole family. My niece and nephew who are 4 and 6 did not leave the dance floor AT ALL! The other lead singer (I did not get his name unfortunately) interacted with them and even gave my niece a tambourine!
Aside from that, know that Emily is truly a professional, along with all of the other band members. She made the planning process a breeze (you can tell she is very experienced). She directed the whole evening with ease. The band helped set up sound for our ceremony, had a jazz trio play during cocktail hour, emceed the entire event & introduced the bridal party, and had two long sets during the reception. There were no issues during any part of the process – no mic reverb, no power outages, nothing. Emily gave us their master set list before the wedding and we were able to pic the genre we wanted (Motown and funk, yes please!), and they offered to learn any new songs we wanted as well. The jazz trio helped the cocktail hour feel very intimate and set the tone for the evening (we were able to watch from a balcony at our venue after photos). I also want to mention that I emailed Emily many times with my ideas, and she always responded with positivity and even better ideas! I told her I wanted to do an Anniversary Dance during the reception, but she suggested to do it backwards. I thought this was such a great idea, so my husband’s parents were on the dance floor first and then couples were added in. Small suggestions like these made our wedding so unique and spectacular. During this dance, Emily sang At Last by Etta James. When she belted out the first lyrics, I felt like my body was melting into the floor. Her voice is INCREDIBLE! At this moment, I just felt awestruck. If you book them, definitely have her sing that song!
We have been told by so many guests that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I know it is because of Arch City Lights. We have received endless compliments on their energy, performance, set list, and talent. I have wanted a band to perform at my wedding ever since I was a little girl, and I know I chose the right one. Our wedding day was the best day of my entire life, and Arch City Lights played a huge role in that. It was everything I have ever dreamed of. If you look at reviews below, everyone gave them five stars for a reason. Not a single bad review. As I said above, it will elevate your entire wedding day experience, and it will be talked about for years to come. 10 million out of 10! Book them ASAP!

Asking Arch City Lights to be part of our day was one of the very best decisions we made. From the beginning, Emily was incredibly responsive, thorough, and patient. On the day of the wedding, the power went out at our venue about an hour and a half before the ceremony was to start. Arch City moved heaven and earth to get a battery-operated amp so they could still play the most beautiful piano music for our sun-lit ceremony. I am not a musician, but we had several guests who are, and they all said this was the best band they'd ever heard at a wedding. Arch City played some old folk tunes, classic rock, modern pop songs, and EVERYTHING in between. If you're on the fence about hiring a band or even this band, don't be. They ROCK and had everyone on the dance floor immediately. LOVE THEM! -

Emily and her band Arch City Lights were professional and organized from the start. We loved that you can customize the band to fit your event. Our guests could not stop raving about their music from the very first song they played. They have a very diverse song list and were flexible to learn new songs for us. Not only were they great musicians, they were great performers as well. It felt like a private concert. They even let the Groom perform on their guitar for a few impromptu songs. It is clear that they have a passion for what they do. The band and the music were the highlights of our wedding! -

I cannot recommend ACL enough! Emily was so responsive, organized, and was so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, they were able to set up (both ceremony, cocktail, and reception music) all with ease and ready to go! Their energy was amazing and the transitions to DJ for the breaks were so seamless you had no idea. They brought the energy and Emily even let me sneak the mic to sing Spice Girls - what more could you ask for?! So many guests are still raving about them and how fun they were! -

Brides and grooms to be: THIS is your band. I can't say enough good things about Emily and Arch City Lights.
1. They sound INCREDIBLE. I'm a professional singer so I was VERY picky when it came to choosing our band. They are flawless singers, musicians, and performers. Look up their videos on YouTube; they sound even better in person.
2. Emily was my quickest email responder out of EVERY vendor we had, the most reliable, the most detailed, kind, and fun! She also allowed us to do our first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, and other announcements WHENEVER we wanted. I had another potential band option tell me they could only do those special songs within their sets, but Emily was SO great with all the different times, cues, and special requests.
3. Emily worked with me on budget and personal needs for our wedding which was above and beyond. For example: we needed an early set up before our ceremony. Early setup is an extra charge, but thanks to Covid we also had to end our reception earlier than originally planned. Emily could have easily charged us for early setup and the full fee we had already agreed to for performance time, but she eliminated their final 45 set of songs, and did the early setup at no additional cost. AND all of this happened 4 weeks before the wedding and she didn't even flinch. She was smooth, kind, calm, cool, collected, professional, and just awesome. She's just good people.

Arch City Lights absolutely stole the show at our wedding, in the best way possible, and had the dance floor packed all night! Emily was so professional in all of our interactions and her team made the whole day run seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. They were more than accommodating when it came to learning song suggestions and adjusting when we changed wedding planners halfway through the planning process. Our guests still comment on how good they were and we've received several texts asking for their information. I truly cannot say enough good things about them! -

Amazing Band w/ Top Notch Musicians
We were lucky enough to see Emily and Arch City Lights prior to booking them as they played my cousins wedding a couple years back. Therefore, we already knew what kind of quality to expect.
Picking the right wedding band or DJ can make or break your wedding in my opinion. I consider myself a music buff and admit I am very picky when it comes to what I want to listen to. Some people might not get that involved in what music is being played at their wedding, but I'm the kind of person that finds it my responsibility to make sure no "lame" music is going to be played at my wedding. With that being said, if a band was going to play at my wedding, they had to be legit.
Legit is exactly what you will get if you book this band. Many wedding bands are cheesy and sorry to say it, full of old people trying to hang on to a hobby performing on the weekends. You will not get that with Arch City Lights. They are true musicians in every sense of the word and you can tell that is what their life is about. Music isn't just a hobby to them, it's their profession. Regardless of your age or your guests ages though, they have a catalog of songs to please any crowd. On top of that, they are energetic and will have your guests dancing all night long. My friends and family were amazed by their performance and gave ovations after every set and especially at the end of the night. No one wanted the dancing to end!
I looked at their song catalog prior to the wedding and specified if there was anything I didn't want to hear song or genre wise. Emily also did a great job of feeling me out on the musical taste of my wife and I and what feel/mood we were going for at our wedding. She put together a group of sets that met all of our demands while also completely satisfying our guests. They really hit it out of the park! The band also learned 3 songs that weren't part of their normal repertoire (2 for first dances and 1 during one of the normal sets) and played them to perfection. That personal touch might have been my favorite part of their performance.
Finally, Emily is the one who we worked with prior to our event and she's 100% professional, helpful and responsive.
We were completely satisfied with our choice of wedding band, had zero complaints and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing musical performance at their wedding! -
